Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here we are, guys, our last break of the day.
Thank you Lord, we made it through.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah, I want you all to think of words, because
I don't want to give away any think.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Of words that describe.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Are going through something. I want you to think of
words that describe going through something or something.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
You've had to overcome.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
As you give them to me, I want to show
you what those words have taught me. I don't know
how this is gonna go because we've never done this before.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Okay, just an exercise.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
But that's what it is. I'll give you an example.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I often found myself ended up as I've gotten older,
of taking all the bitter moments and turning it into
sweet moments, of taken all my lemons and making lemonade.
Because out of all of my hardships that I've had,
(01:10):
what those hardships did was.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
It solidified my relationship with God.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
It forced me to understand more fully what I was
capable of. It made me understand what those scriptures were
really saying, and it taught me the power of prayer.
So hardship really changed my relationship with God. So as
(01:46):
the team presents me, these words that presented challenges are
difficult to them. I would try to put it into
words that have changed my life.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Junior, you want to start, sir, what's the word strong willed?
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Strong willed? I had to become strong willed because of
weak moments. You know, there are weak moments that come
in your life where it's going to test you in
the form of temptation, and you're gonna have some weak moments.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
But when you had those weak moments, it's practiced for
you to develop a stronger will.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
You've got to develop a strong will to overcome temptation.
That everybody has temptation and everybody not gonna You're not
gonna win the temptation battle all day, all the time.
You're just not gonna do it. You're human.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
But it taught me a lot about strong will in
my weak moments.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Anybody, Yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Fear.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Fear, Fear, Oh well, fear.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
We've often talked about this.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Fear has produced more bravery for me than anything, because
every time I've mustered up the courage to face my fear,
it made me more brave. You know, if you're a
fear fearful person or a brave person, that's the direct opposite.
(03:26):
But you need the fear to bring out the bravery
in you. See, if you're not presented with the things
you're afraid of, you don't.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Know what to be brave towards. You. Follow what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I needed to have fearful moments because God needed to
show me just how brave I really was. By turning
around and facing those fears, it made me understand how
brave I actually was. See every descending moment, every at
verse moment in your life that has an opposite to it,
(04:00):
you got to find it. But you become more brave
when you face more fears. It's nothing wrong with being afraid.
What cripples you is when you don't address the fear
when you run from it. But when you turn around
and face it, you find out that what you were
afraid of wasn't as big as you thought it was.
That fear has caused me to discover the bravery in me.
(04:22):
You better come on, Steve.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Har Let me say mountain, Steve, mountain.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Oh, this is a good one for me. This is easy.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I often have to thank God for all the mountains
I've had to climb, because in climbing the mountain, it
gave me the strength and the wisdom understand that with Christ,
all things as possible. That they ain't a mountain too
high that he can't get me over. There, ain't an
ocean too deep that he can't swim me through.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
That mountain. When I'm climbing.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Mountains, it allows me to understand the real power of God,
because sometimes you standing there looking at that mountain and
it just seems so impossible, but you got to start
to climb. And every time I started to climb and
I've reached the top of one of the mountains, all
I could do was say, thank you Lord for giving
me the strength to hang in there or reach the
(05:19):
top of his mountain.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Now to ask some valleys too, Now, oh yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
You don't get to get You don't get to the
mountaintop without going down in the valley. See what, you
can't have one without the other. That was very good.
I appreciate that, y'all. You know, that's some of the
things that I've learned in my life from adversity. Everything
that looks like a bad moment, if you look at
it the right way, Like I've always said, behind every
moment of adversity, there's a lesson and a blessing, and
(05:46):
I thank God that I've learned from all my adversity,
all the mountains, all the fear, all of the moments
where I needed bravery, all the times I needed to
have that strong will. He just kept showing up for me.
I just asked the Lord up for you. It's just
we ain't always there for him.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Dude, Amen to that.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Don't forget toughing God He love you, hear frog.
