Speaker 1 (00:00):
Here we are our last break of the day on
this Tuesday. It's been a great day. Thank you all
for listening. And Steve, before you get to your closing,
we do have a phone call for you from a
pastor who actually left comments about your closing.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
God bless you, Steve Harvey. I'm kind of running late,
but this reverend will again. I just want to say
one thing that closing remarks on October to six, how
you say your past and you talked about that past.
God love you, Steve Harvey. Let God be with you.
(00:36):
That was so wonderful what you said. You said your past,
leave that alone. God bless it. I need that could
trust and believe I got a pass. But that word
ready there to encouraged me. Thank you Steve Harvey for
that strong word to talk about that past, to leave
it alone. God bless you, Steve Harvey. That was so
(00:59):
much inpiration that you gave me. I'm gonna keep looking
at your family for you. Thank you, brother, you know,
thank you to let God keep using you to tell
folks and wait folks up on situations that they're going through.
Trust and believe I got a pass, but I'm gonna
leave it alone. Thank you Steve Harby for that by bye.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, thank you Uncle Rufus. Yeah, that's good. On previous
that's my uncle Rufus that had called in. We'll thank
him for calling here.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Hey.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
You know what, I appreciate him saying that I've been
trying to really do better with my clothing remarks because
I found out so many people were listening in to him.
I was getting a lot of message from people. So
I have another one today too, And it kind of
pertains what Junior asked me this morning. It was about accountability.
He said, how important is accountability to you? Well, y'all
(01:57):
listen what I was explaining to JR. This morning and
when he asked me how important is accountability? Accountability is everything,
especially when you understand one practice that it took me
years to understand. My journey to happiness and success is
dependent on two factors, God Almighty and myself. Those are
(02:23):
the two determining factors about my happiness and about my success.
And as long as you keep it between the two
of you. Now, if you married and you've become one
and that you and your wife are in agreement, that's
the only other source. But outside of that, as long
(02:43):
as you keep those two factors in the forefront, God
Almighty and yourself. That's it. I don't allow any other
factors into it.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
I used to, but I learned to stop doing that
because here is low. As long as you know that
your success and happiness is just between you and God,
you can get along with it and you can make
all the necessary corrections. See, if it's just between you
and God, when something goes wrong, you can fix it
between you and God. If you allow other factors into
(03:18):
the mix, you now have to incorporate them, and they
may not be willing to go along with it. I
give you an example. Somebody leaves you, your relationship break up. Okay,
Now you won't closure in that. You want them to
come back and tell you they sorry. You will you
waiting on them to call you and give you the
(03:39):
reason why you waiting on them to call you and
make you feel better about it? They might just be gone.
So now, guess what if you keep the accountability between
you and God. Okay, listen, maybe this person leaving me
was a good thing for me. Bekind Bell Glass. Like
I always say, behind every moment of adversity, the two
(04:01):
things happen. There's a lesson and a blessing. So sometimes
this lead this person leaving you could be a good thing.
But if you go to God immediately and ask God
to give you the understanding and the knowledge to cope
with this loss, you may find out that that loss
was necessary. You may find out that that loss was
actually a good thing. Maybe God let that door close
(04:22):
because he got another one. He wants you to walk
up the hall and walk through. Stop standing at these
doors that close in your face. Stand there beating on
that door. Walk up the hall. There's always more doors.
But the accountability is on you. If you allow someone
(04:44):
else to be the determining factor between your for your
happiness and your success, you're in trouble. Man, You're in
a lot of trouble. Because suppose they don't. Oh, I
know what they said, but suppose they don't. They said
he was gonna do, But suppose they don't. I know
the promises they made, but suppose they don't. Accountability. You
(05:10):
and God Almighty, Those two things you can control. Number One, God,
he has never failed me yet ever ever, He has
never ever let me down. Never, God Almighty has never
ever broken a promise. Never ever, God Almighty has never
(05:36):
not come through when I needed him most. Never. Ever,
these are factors that you can count on. So if
you keep the accountability between you and God Almighty, there's
your chance for happiness or success. Stop letting these other
people affect you. Stop giving everybody else some accountability in
(05:58):
your life. They did me wrong, they let me down.
They didn't come when they said. He said he was
gonna give me this money. He didn't give me this money.
He didn't pay me my money back.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Man.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Bye, that don't matter. It only matters between you and God.
If you keep it between you and God, that's all
the accountability you need, and you'll be a much happier,
much successful person. Stop relying on people because they ain't
always gonna They are people now, they are all human.
Those are my closing remarks. Y'all have yourself a great
(06:30):
day to day. Talk to God today. He would absolutely
love to hear from you. And it don't matter if
it's been a while. A y'all have a good one.
Stay in peace.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
For all.
