Speaker 1 (00:00):
Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today, and
the subject is is it too risky to stay with
my husband?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We'll get into that find out.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
What it's all about in just a few because right
now the nephew is here with today's prank phone called nephew.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Well, you know, I'm fresh all for performing in Houston,
Texas for the lighthouse that was the cry Out the
cry Out four convention. It was an amazing, amazing, amazing
weekend in Houston. Mayor passed the key on, did the
dog one thing? And I represented joll Well. The nephew
went in and acted a food right before Fred Hammon

(00:42):
and tied Trippitt. Yes I did, Yes, I did. So
this prank kind of ties into chutch. This right here
is called how much in the account past? How much
in the account past?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, that's one thing. You can't ask a pastor how
much we got in the account?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Why is that your business?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Why isn't it our business? Callor why don't we ask
these pasts through how much we got? All right, I
want to know how much is in the account?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Cat dog? If you would.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Pastor Hayes. Pastor Hayes,
how you doing? This is this is brother line of
line of Thompson. How you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I'm good brother, and how can I help you today?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Past I'm actually one of your members at the church,
and I want to just command you that you're doing
a good job the way you are displaying safety.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Let me say that first and foremost.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Okay, cool, thank you. You know, we just want everybody
to be safe and healthy. And your name.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Again the brother line of Thompson.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Okay, and and and other times I'm tying about to
be in the middle of dinner. How can they help you?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Brother?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Well, here, here's what I wanted to ask you, man
uh pass, I want to ask you this. I know,
you know a lot of people are going through different
things and and and people are you know, trying to
make sure they keep food and stuff in the house
because it's you know, time like this. You know you
kind of want to stay put and but you want
to make sure you got enough food and water and
things like that. So but but but what I wanted

(02:12):
my reason for calling you is I wanted to ask
you how how much money do we have in the
account again, the church account. How much money do we
have in there?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Brother?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Brother?

Speaker 4 (02:24):
What what do you say? Your name was? Again?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Brother?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
My name is a brother, Lianel Thompson.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Okay, Brother Thompson. How did you get my personal cell
phone number to be calling me at home the time
of day?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Well? I got this number from one of the brothers
at the church. What what?

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Brother? The church is they know not to give my
personal number offs to to people I don't know? Are you?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Well, I'm a I'm a but I'm a but I'm
a member though I'm a member.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Well, how long you been a member? Because I've been
pasting this church for ten years and your name ain't
familiar to me. How long? How long you been a
member of my church?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I've been a member of probably going on going on
three years now, but I ain't I ain't been in since,
you know, since that day I joined. You know, you know,
I kind of got caught out there, you know how
I go.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
But uh yeah, wait.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Wait wait wait wait wait, So you you've been a
member of my church two or three years? You ain't
been to the church in two to three years? Are
you calling me to ask me about finances of my church. Well,
I'm gonna say what you're looking for?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Well, I am a member, so I mean I do
have to don't I have the right to know what
we got in there? What we got in the account?

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Actually you don't. You don't have to write to that question.
If you don't actively come to the church. You can't
come to the church, sign up the church, and then
call me three years later asking me what we got
going on at church. So I need to understand what
is your purpose? What?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Well, like I say, everybody going through hard times, I'm
trying to see what we got in there, because you know,
I need to pick up a few things from the stove.
I don't have the money right now, But shouldn't I
be able to lean on my church?

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Though?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
You can lean on that. We've done a lot of
stuff in the community. We've been seeing the lead. We
got a full bank. We've been cashed after people some
money that when we can. But you ain't been at
this church in three years. You can't call me after
three years and think I'm about to give you some
money for someone I don't even know if you're a
real member.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
I am a real I'm a real member, So hold on,
hold on, hold on, hold on, pastor, hold on no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Hold on, no, no, no, you hold on what boy?
Look here, I'm trying to sit down have dinner with
my family. You sitting here on my last night, and
look here, brother Thompson, I don't know you. I ain't
never heard of you. You am not about to call
here and try to get some money out of me.
You ain't even a member of the church.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
I am a member of the church.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Because you come to the church one time, you ain't
been back in three years, and you come to me
for some money.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I am a member.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Gave your mamma. You are not a member of this church, sir.

Speaker 3 (04:49):

let me tell you something. I know this.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Ain't them tell you where. You can't call my church
two or three years ago and call meet three years later,
get my number from somebody and ask me for money
because you're going through hard time.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Now, if you was a.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
True member of the church, you'll understand how we work
and how we give money to people that's struggling. I
just delivered forty meals today to our elderly. Huh. Last
week we cashed out people money to go pick up
grocery parents, Well.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Do you need do you need my cash? Aftern do
you need my cash?

in opposing trying to figure out how to cash at
me so I can get.

see who you are and why they would give my
number to some point to come and ask me for
some money.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Hey, let me say this to you.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
If you don't cash out me, then I'm finna let
all the members that I know you.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I know our church ain't no megachurch.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
You know we got three four hundred members already know so,
but I would let every member know that you not
cash up to me to help me in a time
of knee I will do that.

can Facebook at Instagram and you can put it on
that TikTok and tag me in it. I ain't giving
you a dime. I don't know you. I ain't never
heard of you. Matter of fact, you need to get
out my phone. I got dinner with my wife. Boy
to go on, man, and I ain't got time to
be going back and forth with you. I need to
know who gave you my number to. I can call

(06:40):
them up and tell them, don't be giving my number
out to some stranger who ain't been our church in
two to three years and gonna ask me for some money,
some cash out, or if you don't get off this phone,
who get you number?

Speaker 3 (06:51):

know Deacon Marvin Dillit.

me cush. You can't be doing that during this time.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Man, Pastor.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
All right, man, man, I'm good man. Maybe everything good.
My wife came out here, boy, and you ain't don't
want her to set it off.
