this one right here, right now. And guess what, you
never know, this one could be yours.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on type.
We got it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
All right, nephew, thank you. Subject. I'm getting weaker by
the minute. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm going to give it
to you straight and I'll try to keep it rated PG.
I was dating the love of my life for almost
three years and our relationship was perfect. She had already
asked for my hand in marriage and I said yes,
(00:46):
but I told her that I needed to propose and
get a ring. That I needed to propose and get
her a ring. I told her that women don't propose
to men. I waited to get her a ring because
I wanted to do it when she leased expected it.
I waited too long and she got impatient and she
cheated on me. That turned my world upside down, and
(01:08):
I couldn't bring myself to forgive her. I blocked her
and changed my locks on my house, and I told
my mama to stop talking to her, but she got
creative and started sending me messages and videos through WhatsApp.
The videos will make the strongest man buckle, and I
don't know how much longer I can stay away from
her because I'm getting weaker by the minute. She has
(01:32):
the best love making skills of any woman I've ever known,
and I'm fifty nine years old. She's the total package
and can do all of the things very well, and
she knows it. I want her so badly, but I
can't get it out of my head that she gave
all of that good loving to another man. I also
(01:53):
don't think I was being unreasonable by not accepting her
marriage proposal. I'm irritated that she didn't get me enough
time to get her a ring and do things the
right way. I never would have cheated on her. The
videos and the way she moans and whispers that she
misses me are driving me crazy. I can't figure out
(02:15):
if it's love or if it's lust. At this point,
does she deserve another chance after what she did. Well
for you to write us and even ask us, that
means you are definitely considering it. But I just think
this is terrible. I hate it when good people get
played like this, and you sound like a decent guy.
(02:35):
You deserve better. She has shown you who she is.
She cheated on you believe her. Whether you should take
her back or not, it is certainly a question that
only you can answer. But I don't know how you,
as a man can, so please don't be stupid in
this instance, especially after what she did to you that
(02:56):
was foul. As a matter of fact, I don't know
any man who would go back at this point. I
just don't know any Give yourself some time, I say,
you will get over her, and trust me, there are
plenty of women out there who can do everything she
can do, and more and better. It sounds like you
just missed the sex anyway at this point, Steve.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Well, brouh ah, here we go. You know, I'm getting
weak up bout a minute. Ain't we all didn't had
that moment?
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I'm getting weak up bout a minute. Hell, I done
got weak about a second.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Hmm, it ain't nothing. I done got weak about a hour.
A week, the month to day, the year I done
got weaker. Weakness is a part of it. But you
know we'll get to that in a minute.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
You was dating the love of your life, bro for
almost three years, and your relationship was perfect.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
So you thought she had.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Already asked for my hand in marriage and I said yes,
But I told I needed to propose to her and
get her ring because I told her women don't propose
to men. Then you waited to get the ring because
you wanted to do it when she least expected. Then
you said something interesting here. You said I waited too long. Okay,
So now this your fault. Huh, because you waited too long.
(04:20):
I waited too long, she got impatient and cheated on me.
Not wait a minute, bro, hold on, wait over, y'all
was in a three year relationship, the love of your life,
a perfect relationship.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
She asked you to marry her.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
You said yes, But then you said she need to
wait until you asked her too, and you get her
to ring and you wanted to do it when she
least expected it. Right, Okay, So everything good? Remember this
is a perfect relationship. Then right after that, you said
I waited too long and she cheated on me.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Why, broh, Why I'm not understanding.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
You go from a perfect relationship to her wanting to
marry You ask your hand in marriage. You say yes,
You turn around and say, let me give you a
ring and propose the proper way, because women ain't supposed
to ask me in for their hand in marriage. I
got that the traditional way to do it. You wasn't
wrong in that she got impatient and cheated on you.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Dug.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
That turned my world upside down and I couldn't bring
myself to forgive her.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I get that. I blocked her.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Changed my locks on my house, told my mama to
stop talking to her. But she got creative, started sending
you messages in video through what's up?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
The videos will make the strongest man buckle.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
And I don't know how much longer I can stay
away from her because I'm getting weaker by a minute. Well,
you can do that part right there. You going back
over there, and you know, and see what's up with
the video. You know we can do video re enactment.
We can do all this here. But I'm not fin
to marry you because the moment you get impatient, you
(06:08):
cheat on me. The moment you think I'm taking too long.
Your response is to cheat on me, not know. Hey, look,
when's the date when we gonna get married? Let's move
this thing along.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Now.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
I'm gonna go get somebody else.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
She got the best love making skills of any woman
I've ever known, and I'm fifty nine years old. Well,
let me ask you, some dog, how you think she
got them skills? I can ask you down. You're not
born with them skills. Hang on, Steve, you a while
those skills.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
We'll have part two of your response coming up at
twenty three minutes after the hour. Strawberry Letters subject for today.
I'm getting weaker by the minute. We'll get back into
it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
Have you thought about buying life insurance to protect yourself
(07:01):
and your family? Globe Life Insurance is easy to understand
and easy to buy, with coverage amounts up to one
hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
The application process is quick.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
There is no medical exam, just a simple application called
Globe Life Today at one eight hundred two five one
fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio dot com again. That's
one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred or
Globelifradio dot com. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm getting weaker by
the minute.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah, you're getting weaker, Marled. You're stating this woman's perfect
relationship for three years. Man, she asked you to marry her.
You said yes, of course, but then you told her
you wanted to wait until you could get her a
ring and do it the right way, and you wanted
it took you a while to get the money together
for the ring because you want to do it when
she least expected it. Then you turned around and said, well,
I took too long. She got impatient and she cheated
(07:54):
on me. That's crazy, man, that's so crazy right there.
It wasn't no we broke up. It wasn't none of that.
Y'all didn't even have a meeting about the when you're
gonna get the ring? When we can we do a date.
I know I've already asked you and you accept it.
But now that you want to do it your way,
(08:15):
how long is it gonna take. We don't really need
that bigger ring. You know, we could do this without
the big wedding ring. I just love you and I
want to get married. I took too long. She cheated
on me. I can't seem to forgive her. And now
you done told your mama to quit talking to her.
You done blocked her, and now she done got creative
on WhatsApp, started sending you videos and stuff. Now these
(08:39):
videos that she's sending you is crazy.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Oh they crazy. She don't need videos. Ain't no telling what.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
She got a fans only page on horse App. I've
never been on fans only.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
My son's told you.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
That's probably why I ain't been on that. My son
told me, Dad, you can't go in there. You gotta
give them too much information to go on there. You
can see what's having okay, cooling. So but anyway, she
got her only page and she got she got you, now,
you said, and these they moaning and they're making you
(09:18):
weak about a minute. She got the best love making
skills of any woman I've ever known, and I'm fifty
nine years old. My question to you is how you
think she got these skills. This is not a skill
you're born with. She has been practicing, and according to
your letter, she practiced on other people whoa, which is
(09:39):
how she got good in the first place. Now you
said she's the total package and can do all the
things very well as.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
She knows it.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
You on some doubt, hmm, said I've.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Never really stayed with anybody that had that superior skill people. Oh,
it's not really because I have like some other requirements.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Like we're gonna make it together, you know, look at
you know how we're gonna build a future and have
a family together. That has some other requirements because you
know why you're doing all this. Whoo lord have mercy,
you know, blowing my wig back and got my eyes
in the back of my head. All that's good. But
one that that's over with, don't And we're talking and
(10:30):
you're kind of stupid. I'm like, you know, I like
my barbecue with barbeque sauce. Okay, that ain't the barbecue sauce.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I like, okay, what kind you like? The real barbeque sauce.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Okay, we're gonna have to stop dating because you can't
put a name is it where you like Crafts, you
like Hunt, you like Williams Brothers. You just can't give
me the name with a barbecue sauce. The one in
the bottom. Okay, look, ain't stupid girl. Stupid girl, listen
to me. A lot of it come in the bottle,
most of holly, and of it come into too. I
(11:09):
just need the name of the barbecue sauce.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Now.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Once I get you the barbecue sauce, and then we
go back there and get in the bed again, and
you do all these wonderful things. Then your next question, KP,
you know something else stupid? Like what how come you
ain't got no cotton candy?
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Supid?
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Well I'm gonna get that from Okay, I like cotton
candy when I get through where you been doing this
at the carnival?
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Yeah, just too much.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
So anyway, what I'm saying to you, bruh about this
is to get you to understand this may not be
what you really want and you start to question it.
You know, she's the best, she got the best, and
I'm figuring out she's a total package. You can do
everything really well. I want her so badly, but I
can't get it out of my head that she gave
(12:02):
all that good loving to another man. She'd gave it
to a few people.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
That's how she.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Got good at it. Listen to me, she gave it
to somebody else cause you took too long? Now what
other reasons does she need to go give it to
somebody else?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Because taking too long ain't a good way? Now?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
What about if you working late? Oh oh, you took
too long to come home? I've got to get out
here in these streets anyway. I also don't think I'm
being unreasonable by not accepting her marriage proposal. But why
you back on marriage right now? Quit talking about that?
Now you want unreason? Why everything happens for a reason.
(12:46):
Could you not understand that maybe you didn't do the
proposal and get married in time because God was trying
to save See there, I never would have cheated on her.
The videos and the way she moans and whispers that
she misses me or driving me crazy? Cool going over
there and do a couple of video reenactments. Ain't nothing
wrong with that. I can't figure out if it's love
(13:09):
or it's just lust. At this point, if you can't
figure out if this is love or lust, I can
tell you right now it ain't love. I can tell
you right now this ain't love. Partner, you've been in
lust for a long time. You are captivated by what
she do, But so is somebody else too.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Does she deserve another chance after what she did? No,
I thank she all have gone over there and married
the dude that she left you for, right, all right, Steve.
