It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
We got it for you here it is Strawberry Letter.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
All right, thank you, nephew. Subject my friend is doing
the most Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm writing this about one
of my best male friends. He has moved to the
city I live in and he's dating a lot of
women because he just got divorced. Apparently he's had a
few women come over to visit him, because the landlord
called me four times to say that he's making too

(00:47):
much noise. I know he's a calm and quiet man
that loves jazz and he doesn't watch a lot of TV.
I am subletting my duplex to him. So the landlord
lady calls me and won't talk directly to my friends,
and I had to ask her a few times and
pry it out of her to find out what kind
of noise is coming from the house. She said it's

(01:08):
sexual noises. I couldn't believe it. I talked to him,
and he said that it's normal sex and the women
are enjoying themselves a lot, that's all he said. I
told him that he's disrupting his neighbor's peace. I was
shocked to find out that the neighbor is one of
the women that he has been in his bed. I
told him that he's being careless and that it's too

(01:29):
messy to have sex with the chick next door. Come
to find out, she's jealous and has started talking to
the women as they leave his house. She recently met
one of the ladies in the parking lot at her
car and asked her how well she knew my male friend.
The neighbor lady told the woman that my friend gave
her an STD. This is so messy, and it's my

(01:51):
friend's fault for being involved with all of these different women.
I'm siding with the landlord at this point, and I've
asked my friend to stop being so horrible. He warned
me to mind my business or our friendship will end.
Is this worth ruining our twenty year friendship. Should I
take my chances and ask him to move out? Or

(02:11):
should I mind my business? Well, this is your business.
This is your business. He's doing too much with too
many women, and it's in your place because the place
is in your name and he's disrespecting it. If this
was his own place, he could do whatever he wanted,
with whomever he wanted. He warned you to mind your
own business. But like I said, this is your business.

(02:34):
He and the landlord have made it your business. I mean,
this is not about judging or anything like that. Is
about your friend taking advantage of your kindness and your
generosity in subletting your place to him. Now, is the
landlord crazy in doing what she's doing. Yes, she's stopping
these women as they come out of his place in
the parking lot, saying he gave her an STD. That's really, really,

(02:58):
really crazy. I think both your friend and the landlord
need to go at this point. You know your friend
too many ways. You know this gets too messy and
it's giving. I just think it's just too messy, messy, messy, messy.
He needs to either stop or move out and get
his own place. Steve, What, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
How do you? What do you mean? This is your business?
This ain't her business.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
It's just ain't this ain't her business?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
What when you when you rich your place, are you
sublet your place?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
You you give a person rights to live there and
whatever lifestyle they have behind that door when it locks,
that ain't your business.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
You should have discussed this beforehand.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Hey, look you got some place you got There are
places that don't allow pets. So you want to say
up front, we don't allows now if we don't, if
you can come up with a way to say to
a person, you cannot date more than one woman and
when y'all have sex, it has to be quiet.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Who finish? Sign this paper?

Speaker 4 (04:16):
So I'm not really sure that this woman has a
valid point or concerned, but it's about one of her
best male friends. He's moved to a city I live in.
He's dating a lot of women because he just got
a divorce. So apparently he had a few women come
over to visit him because the landlord called me four

(04:37):
times to say that he's making too much noise.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Now the sex is loud, But who is the landlord? Though?
Lance really find out who she is?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
She oh, by herself, busybody probably named Hayes them to.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Pay attention to everything.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Now she say, I know he's a calm, quiet man
that loves jazz, and he don't watch a lot of TV.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Now you know why he don't.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
He don't got to watch a lot of TV cause
he got them girls coming through. What as we watch
a TV folk were in here getting jazz. A yeah,
So I'm subletting my duplex to him. So the landlord
lady calls me and won't talk directly to my friend
cause she knows she out of line. I had to

(05:34):
ask her a few times and pry it out of her.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
No, you didn't know, you didn't.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
You ain't. She called to tell you to find out
what kind of noise is coming from? Now she said,
it's sexual noises? Okay, what is sexual noises?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (05:52):
So now she says sexual noise? I couldn't believe it.
Why why you couldn't believe it? You just said he
recently got a divorce and he and a lot of women.
Why you can't believe it's no sexual noise? You said
he's very quiet, but they eight And when you're trying
to win a man, you are normally a little bit

(06:16):
louder than you normally are.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Is that true?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Hello? You know when y'all trying to hear somebody up?

All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
The subject is my friend is doing the most well.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
She's got a male friend over twenty years. He got
a divorce and he's seeing a lot of women. Now,
he just moved back to town. So you sub let
him a place that you're renting out from this lady,
a duplex. He's in there having these women over, and
the lady landlord is calling you saying he make it
too much noise. You say you pride out of it

(07:58):
and find out to these knowing is it's sexual? So
he over there having loud sex. You think he's a
quiet man. He don't watch a lot of TV, and
he like jazz. Well, you know, he ain't got even
got time to watch TV. He got all these women
coming through here. Having sex is way more better than
watching ESPN or Netflix.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
It is, it.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Is.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
And anyway, she called you and won't talk directly to
your friend.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
You ask her to pride out of her and.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
She said it's sexual noise. So I talked to him
and said that it's normal. I talked to him and
he said it's normal sex and the women are enjoying
themselves a lot.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Oh bet that made her curious. Oh yeah, you've been
twenty years. He been married.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
He probably was waiting on the opportunity he got divorced.
She didn't say she was married, so she might be
looking at this as an opportunity for her, and he
says normal sex and the women are enjoying themselves a lot.
She swallowed real hard when he said that gop and

(09:18):
that's all he said. I told him that he's disrupting
his neighbor's peace. I was shocked to find out that
the neighbor is one of the women that has been
in his bed. Oh you're talking about the landlord. Oh,
how you find that out?

Speaker 3 (09:39):
How did you find that out?

Speaker 4 (09:41):
I told him that he's being careless and that it's
too messy to have sex with the chick next door.
Come to find out, she's jealous and has started talking
to the women as they leave his house. She recently
met one of the ladies in the parking lot at
her car and ask her how well she knew my
male friend the neighbor. Lady told the woman that my

(10:04):
friend gave her an STD. Now, ain't that convenient? She
trying to stop all these people from coming through there.
Now he got STD. This is so messy, and it
is my friend's fought for being involved with all these
different women. I'm siding with the landlord at this point,
and I've asked my friend to stop being so horrish.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
He warned me to mind.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
My business or our friendship will end? Is this worth
ruining our twenty year friendship for what you meant to
say was will just now kill all my shots ever
being with this man who is obviously a tremendous lovel,
who's got these women screaming at the top of their
lungs and burn their house.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Right here, I don't think.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Let me let me write Steven Shirley so I can
find out if I need to share my mouth up
or I mess up a shot. Should I take my
chances and ask him to move out? Or should I
mind my business?

Speaker 3 (11:00):
You have to.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Ask should I mind my business? That's probably your answer.
You should mind your business? Now you said something to him.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Now, maybe he'll do some changes.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Maybe he'll have some COVID masks by the bed they
can put on.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Maybe they.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Maybe they don't start doing pillar tricks or something like that,
because recently I heard somebody say I'm gonna choke you
and that, and then they said, but I don't want
to be choked, and then he said, you ain't got
no choice. So that's out there now, learn laugh from podcaster.
I'm just saying I've heard that. So you know you
can do muffle like hand over the mouth, but then

(11:45):
they bite your hand. Then now you holler see somebody
you could you could win your fingers.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Bit you gonna be hollering.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
So should she mind her business? Absolutely? Mind your business.
You're renting this place out to him. The landlord is
enjoying herself, and come to find out, one of them
either the chick or stay next door. The landlord is sleeping.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
With the dude too. Yeah, he live in his best life.
He done got divorced.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Hedne decided I'm finna get out of here, wilding out.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I'm on Nick Cannon's wilding out wireless and wireless. I'm
Nick Cannon DC.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Y'all fly, I'm everybody Wileyn.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah wow.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
So now, yes, mind your business. Don't do like Shirley did.
Told you to get all up in here and stuff
right here. That's bad advice. Lady, mind your business.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
That's only because you think the landlord wants him to
the best friend. You think she wants him to.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Well, here's the problem.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
You're gonna lose your friend and you're gonna have to
pay the rent on this place when you put him out.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
But you stayment and when shouldn't be friends anyway?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
They're not friends, Charley. She won't this man, that's what
she shit.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
Jealous because all these women is gonna stop acting horrorsh
I could have been over all this sex you have it,
making all these women have all this? Now, what is
you doing to them?

Speaker 1 (13:18):
So now she wants to try it, that's what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
