Speaker 2 (00:19):
You never know, So here we go.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
What's the hesitation? Look a laughing hold on tight, Let's
get it back here. It is the one and only
Strawberry Letter.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
As much as you hesitate subject. My husband leaves his
phone at home. You want to get to this one,
don't you, Nephew. I'm not sure if it's about you
or leading.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Dear Stephen Shirley, I never expected my husband to cheat
on me. He swears he hasn't done anything, but the
proof says that he is lying. He always leaves his
phone at home because he's never on the phone, and
he's not on social media.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
He's forgetful. So I get.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Annoyed when I try to call him and his phone
is stuck down in the couch back on the bedroom dresser.
I think he was doing that on purpose to throw
me off. And here's why my husband's brother called the
house yesterday to talk to my husband. He said he
had just talked to him, and he assumed he was
home because the number was blocked. My husband was supposed

(01:17):
to be at a lounge with his cousin, so I
told his brother that's where he was. His brother said,
my husband was whispering on the phone, so he is
worried about him. I told him that my husband's phone
was at the house with me, and then his brother
got off the phone quickly. When my husband came home,
he was sweaty and disheveled. I told him that his

(01:40):
brother called, and he looked confused. I threw his phone
at him and yelled and screamed about him cheating on me,
and he said, it's not what I think. His brother
won't answer my calls, and my husband told me to
stop calling his brother.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
What is going on?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Does my husband leave his phone at home to throw
me off because he has another phone for his side check?
Please advise well, I definitely think he has another phone.
I mean, it's hard to think that grown people go
out of the house without their phone these days.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Now, is this other phone for a side chick? I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
But I wouldn't rule it out either, because it looks
very suspicious. In any event, something is going on, because
why won't his brother answer your calls?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Now, let me.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Guess, because he doesn't want you asking him any questions
about your husband or anything. This all makes it look
like your brother in law is guilty as well.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
The brother called you first. What was he calling you for?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
To find out about why your husband was whispering and
all that. There's only two reasons I think that a
man would need a second phone. You know, he'll have
one for work or business and the other one.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
To keep up with his side piece.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay, I think that's why he doesn't care about leaving
the phone at home, that particular phone anyway. Yeah, it's
to throw you off because the important one is always
with him, and your husband owes you an explanation. Please
do not let this go, Stevel.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
I already know, boy, what letter did you read? I
read you this.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Home record advice. You didn't gave this out. This ain't
no lie, these are facts because you're not listening. Linda,
Dear Steven, I never expected my husband to cheat on me.

(03:43):
He swears he ain't done nothing. But the proof says
he's lying. Keyword proof. The proof says he's lying. Well,
let's go find out what proof she is. He always
leaves his phone at home because he's never on the phone,
and he's not on social media.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
He's forgetful.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
So I get annoyed when I try to call him
and his phone is stuff down in the couch and
way back.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
On the bedroom dresser.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Now, let me tell you something right here, theseus full
grown people right here, full blown grown, ain't no young
person leaving their phone at home.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Theesus old people right here.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
How old, I don't know, but young people don't go
nowhere without their phone. It's the GPS, it's uber eats,
it's Uber, it's Lift, it's for debates.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
And arguments Google. So these are some grown people here.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
I think he was doing that on purpose to throw
me off. And here's why. Okay, now we should be
getting into the proof. My husband's brother called the house
yesterday to talk to my husband. Now, surely you said
he called her first, so why is.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
He not answering the phone?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Now, he didn't call her, He called the house, which
is evidenced that theseus old people again, because they got
a house phoneline. He called the house. He didn't call

(05:29):
her sell. He called the house.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
See how I'm working through this thing with you.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
That's why when you have a proof on people, you
got to know what you're talking about. My husband's brother
called the house yesterday to talk to my brother.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
He said he.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Had just talked to him, and he assumed he was
home because the number was blocked.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
That means when you called from.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
The house phone that number didn't show up.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
It showed up as blocked. My husband was supposed to
be at.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
A lounge with his cousin, so I told his brother
that's where it was. His brother said, my husband was
whispering on the phone, so he's worried about him.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
You miss something.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
That another reason? Another reason there. You think they're older
lounge lounge with his.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
I didn't miss that. Cousin.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Who go to the lounge lounge? Yeah, lounge and taverns.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
I told him anyway, when I come back.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
This is so so not proof of petering.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Wait hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's response
coming up. At twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's
Strawberry Letters subject my husband leaves his phone at home

All right, come on, Seve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
The subject is my husband leaves his phone at home.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
And that's all it is. Now.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
I know these are older people because don't know young
person leave their phone at home. Nobody Nobody does that.
Nobody even I won't leave a house without my phone.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
I turn around.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
We gotta go back get this phone because the reason
we do that because Margie don't answer her phone. So
any emergency, the kids know they got to call Daddy
because Dad got his phone. Anyway, he swears he ain't
done anything, but the proof says he's lying.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
He always leaves his phone.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
At home on the couch, stuck out in the couch
or back on the dresser. She gets frustrated with this
because he's forgetful, and she gets annoyed when should try
to reach him and he ain't got no call. But
he ain't on his phone a lot, and he don't
do social media, so he don't even use his phone.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
These as old people.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
But I think she now thinks that he's doing that
on purpose to throw me off. My husband's brother called
the house yesterday to talk to my husband. He said
he had talked to him and assumed he was home
because the number was blocked. Ain't a whole lot of
people got home phones no more. It just ain't a
lot no more. Once again, these are old people.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Now. Shirley said in her.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Letter earlier that he called her first, but now the
brother won't call her back.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
That's not true, shechirlly. He called the.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
House the.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Landline at the house, and that's where he thought his
brother was, and he was worried about his brother because
his brother would talk to him, and he assumed he
was home because the line was blocked, and he was
worried about his brother because his brother was squispery. Now,
she said that can't be because my husband was supposed
to be at a lounge with his cousins.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Some more proof that theesu's old people lounge.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Tavern land line.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Land line call the house, leave his phone at home.
I told him that my husband's phone was at the
house with me, and then his brother got off the
phone quickly. When my husband came home, he was sweaty
and disheveled. That's because he'd been down at the lounge.

(09:52):
Most lounges air conditioning has always broke. That's why they lounge.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
See you going to club club air.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
Condition to work a lounge air condition Harley ever one.
And he looked dishevel because he was down there with
his cousin. I told him that his brother called, and
he looked confused. I threw his phone at him and
yelled and screamed about him cheating on me, and.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
He said, it's not what I think.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Where did you get throwing the phone at the man,
telling him he was cheating on you?

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Where did you get this from? Ry?

Speaker 5 (10:27):
His brother won't ask some my calls, and my husband
told me to stop calling his brother. Quit calling my brother.
Now Shirley said, but the brother called her first. No,
the brother called the house. Y'all ain't got that type
of relationship. He not finna call you back till he go.
Let his brother straighten all this out and see what

(10:49):
direction the brother is gonna take. What's going on? Does
my husband leave his phone at home to throw me
off because he has another phone for his side chick?

Speaker 4 (10:59):
What other phone for the side chick?

Speaker 5 (11:03):
You ain't seen no other phone. Lady, you're jumping to conclusions.
Stop listening to.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Shir Right, she's jumping.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
Sureley, gonna break up your home. You ain't gonna hand nobody.
You in here throwing your phone at your man, accusing
him of cheating.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
You ain't heard him on the phone with no woman.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
You don't have no text messages, you ain't got no pictures.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
The man leave his phone at home.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
You ain't got nothing, no email, he ain't on tender.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
So why is he cheating on you?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Why? Good lord?

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Good questions? Good question?

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Why was he whispering? Why won't his brother his brother
answer her calls?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Now?

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Why was the husband sweaty and disheveled when he came
home from the.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Lounge they was at the lounge.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
When you're out of lounge, you're chilling. You're you're not
up dancing getting lounge.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Don't have listen to me. Lounges don't have good air conditioning.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
So you're just in there just sweating.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Hot. No girl, no you don't.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
No, no, no, you know what s.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Yeah, sometimes you just go in and out. But I understand,
I understand every man.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Is cheating, right, No, I didn't say that.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Your letters. You always want the woman to.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Leave and.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Belying all that only if it calls for it, if
it calls where.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Just show me where in this letter does it say
this man is cheating?

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Just show it's not gonna say it.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Okay, well show me.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
She thinks he has two phones, all right.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
Okay, she's not only seeing one.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
It's suspicious she had. She does have an intuition. The
brother called. He got off the phone quickly. Now he's
not answering any of your brother.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
You ain't my wife, I ain't got this conversation.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
So why is he calling in the first place, looking
for her brother, looking for his brother when his brother
told him he was gonna be someplace and he wasn't nowhere.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
No, no, no, he didn't know where the brother was.
That's why he called the house the Brother waits.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
He's cheating.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Bottom line.
