million bucks things in the shubing be true. Good of
(00:21):
the hardy listening to the movie together for st Please
I don't join me. You gotta use that turn hur
(01:24):
You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn, you got
to turn them out. Turn the water, the water go. Come,
(01:58):
come on your bab I show will good morning everybody
you are listening to the voice, Come on, dick me now,
one and only Hunt, you're human, One and only. Steve
Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man, Steve Harvey got
a radio show. Steve Harvey got something going on that
he ought to be grateful for. But then again, ain't
(02:19):
you got something going on that you ought to be
grateful for. God hadn't done something for you? If you
just think about it, some kind of job, something you're doing,
your health, your strength, your happiness, your family, something got
your relationships. Something God hadn't done for you. You are
to wake up every morning and go, hey, man, thank
you God. I shall appreciate it. Look, I know I'm here.
(02:40):
I got some things going on in my life. That's
tough right now, but I thank you for the couple
of things that's going right, because man, that could be
going bad too. I thank you for my friendships, man.
I thank you for some people that happiness say they
care about me. I thank you for my faith. I
thank you for my my church friends. I thank you
for my co workers. It's cool with me. I'm I'm
(03:01):
grateful for the cats I play ball with. I appreciate
the people I play golf with sometime to just give
me a different angle. Man. I just appreciate the ability
to walk up down steps. Man. I just want to
thank you God for waking me up this morning, because
you didn't have to do that, but you did. I
thank you every time you give me an opportunity to
get myself together, and how you stay with me on
(03:23):
the days when I don't pull it together. Man. Ain't
that real now? Huh? Come on, man? And today you
know the message is simple. Today, Let's make today a
good day. You know you can. You have a lot
to do with that. Start your day off the right way.
When you wake up in the morning, first thing you
should do is just spend some time thanking God for
(03:46):
what's going on in your life. Even the bad news
that you're getting. And listen to me. I'm telling you,
I've been saying it for a couple of weeks. Now
it's raining on me right now. I mean it's raining
on me. But I managed to find a way because
I know through experience and my age and everything that
God and got me through, everything out and gone through.
So yeah, I got some more bad news last night.
(04:09):
I got some more bad news last night. But you
know what I did when I got it. I got
the bad news and I turned it over to God.
I went to God in prayer. I said, hey, God,
look here that this thing came down. But I know,
but I know, because I believe that your word is true,
that you're gonna get me through. I know for a fact.
(04:30):
I know for a fact that when he gets through raining,
it's gonna be flowers out here. See I got you know.
There was a young boy that won this award at
the Trumpet Awards on Saturday night. One of the honor
redes Fara or Gray, and this young boy man was
telling this story he was sold a company when he
was a teenager for a million dollars as little Dudelers.
(04:52):
Absolutely incredible, little dude out of the projects of Chicago,
and he was telling this story, and he said that
his mother he had gotten some bad news, that his
mother was diagnosed with a tumor in her spine, and
that the doctors had said they was gonna have to
operate and she would never be able to walk again
(05:15):
because the tumor had just gotten too big. This young
boy moves about twenty one now. He said that MD
did not know about my g O D. And then
he pointed out and he said, DA's my mother today,
and she walked in here with me to get this
(05:36):
award tonight. You understand, See, it really doesn't matter how
bad of news you received from people, what kind of
letter you get in the mail, what kind of notice
you get, what your Boston came in here and said
what the evaluation then said, it doesn't matter. Man, you
(05:58):
are a child of God. If you would just claim
that and be that. You know you have not because
you ask not you are a child of God. Just
claim it. Just say, hey, look, God, I'm your child.
I'd have messed up, I'd have made some mistakes, but
I'm still your child. Would you help me from here?
I don't care what the notice say, I don't care
(06:20):
what the reports say. I believe that my God is
bigger than any notice that come into mail. Any I
don't care what you do to me. I serve in
Almighty God. That's to God. I served, and God can
do anything. Don't let these reports, these evaluations, or these
(06:41):
notices get you down. Hey, man, that's people's job. It's
people got jobs to do that. Their job is to
send out the notice. Eight dollar dude over here, someone
just sending out a notice. It's a minimum wage person,
just a licking envelope sending out notices. They got nothing
to do with you. Ain't got nothing to do with you.
In your relationship with God and what God got in
(07:04):
store for you, no weapon form to givest you shall prevail.
I don't care what they do. I don't care who
put it in. They hard to hurt you. When they
put it in, they hard to hurt you. They got
to come through God first. See that's what I tell
people all the time. I have enemies out there, and
I just gonna flat out tell them, all right, man,
(07:25):
it's on you. You can come after me if you
want to. But I'm a child of God. I belong
to him. And Isaiah fifty four seventeen clearly states that
no weapon formed against me, so shall prosper. Look here, man,
you can form the weapon. You can forge it. You
can make it out of steel, paper, you can send
it in the notice. You can do whatever you want
(07:45):
to do. You can forge it. But that they don't
mean it's gonna prevail. You can tell me what you're
gonna do to me. You can put the notice on
my wall. When you get through. Man, that don't mean
it's over for me, because my relationship with God is solid.
It don't matter what they say about you. Man. Marvin
(08:07):
Sapp got a song out right now that says he
saw the best in me when everyone else around me
could only see the worst in me. Man, do you
understand that I am his? I mean, here is mine?
I am his? It doesn't matter what I did. He
(08:33):
saw the best in me when everyone else around me
could only see the worst in me. I was fitting
to play something else this morning, But now I'm fitting
to play that because man, I'm just trying to tell y'all,
don't worry about that. Man. You stay locked in on God.
God gonna get you through. It, don't matter what they say.
(08:54):
I had to tell it to my wife last night
because we got this notice and Steve came into mail,
and so all sitting up there and we had a
brief moment of whole man, this bad news just gonna
keep coming like this man. Me and my wife started
praying last night we could, we could when you get
through with your notices and all this here and your
statements about what you're gonna do when you come over
(09:15):
here to getting me. I'm not over here by myself.
I am a child of God. I claim that. So
now guess what. No weapon formed against me shall prevail.
You can make it, you can send it, but I'm
warning you. I'm warning you. He's an amazing god, the
(09:36):
god I serve as an amazing God. Why don't you
claim him as yours? Today? Do you understand he saw
best in me? Everybody else around me could only man? Okay,
just a thought today you're listening. What up, everybody. We're
(10:02):
gonna be funny, we're gonna be creative. But I just
want y'all to know I'm not in a good mood today. Okay,
we're gonna give you, we're gonna help you get through today,
but I'm not in a damn good mood today. I've
seen some things, I've heard some things, but we're gonna
help you get through this day. We're gonna get through
it together, in that right Shelly Strawberry. Strawberry, what's wrong?
(10:24):
What's wrong? Jay? I'm just I'm watching watching news. I'm
seeing you know, us dying, you know, over and over
and over and over again. We're gonna give you some nude.
We're gonna give you some funny. We're gonna make it
half a good day. But just no, I'm not. I'm
just I'm tired of it. I don't know about anybody else,
but I'm tired of it. I'm damn tired of it.
Colorfrel you're tired of it. I know you're tired of it.
(10:47):
Oh exhausted, Jay, exhausted. But um, we're here. We got
inform people. We gotta keep them going, entertain them, but
we do gotta know what's going on because we still
got work to do. Good Morning crew, exactly what up? Junior?
You're tired? Are you tired? Man? What? Man? It keep
happening just to us, just to us. But I'm here too,
(11:10):
I'm gonna call I'm here Morning Crew. Was at a family. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and the King of Pranks. I know you tied. I
know you tied, man, I just know it. Very We're
gonna we're gonna fight this fight to the wheels fall off, Buddy,
We're not gonna We're not stopping, We're not turning back.
We're going to fight this fight to the wheels fall
off until we get some some jestice justice. But you
(11:32):
know what, just we need to reprogram this whole police world.
That's what needs to happen. That's that's what has to happen.
They hired the wrong people. Yeah, they hid the wrong people.
And if you can't determine a taser from a gun,
like the somebody put a tweet, you don't need either
one of them. Six years on the fourth. But you
(11:57):
saw the video she was doing the most like from
just taste taste taser and wrong, just wrong. See, they
create that that that that high energy, They create that
high energy and then and that's what the result comes to. Well,
they're scared and the person is scared too. Dante was
scared too away. George Floyd was killed by the police,
(12:22):
so he was scared too. But just the policing it
has to be reformed with the policing of the otherwise
this is gonna keep happening. Well, yeah, you know what
I mean when you think about it, this time next year,
we'll be back right back at this point because you
know these officers have to go on trial. I'm assuming
(12:45):
for murder. You know they'll be ex officers at this point.
But next year, here we are again. You know right
where we are right now, if if if there are charges,
if there is just as it was a mistake, how
do y'all want us to get out the car? I'm
(13:06):
gonna keep asking, Well, we're gonna lift you up. Though,
We're gonna lift you up. We're gonna be down all day.
We're gonna lift you up, gonna give you some grazings
of ignorant in that right job. We're gonna do it
because when you first said you retired, Jay, I thuch
you mine of coming to work. This is pre much
for you. I've done. This is my third damn day.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, hold up? Now, what does this
(13:29):

work at thirty two minutes after the hour, jay Uh
coming up next, asking bitter man right after this you're
listening to show. Well, guys, we do have a lot
to discuss this morning. We've talked about a little bit
(13:50):
of it. The latest update from Minneapolis. We will have
that for you coming up a little later. But first, um,
as we switch gears now, bitter Man wants us to
start off the show with a smile, So it's time
for ask bitter Man. Are you ready, sir? I'm ready,
but I'm just before we finished. We'll be starting off.
This is the day three? Okay, we're in today three?
(14:14):
All right? Everybody know I'm this week day three of
my work day, working three work week? You're working? Why
is that special though? Because everybody go to work five
days a week. Why is that a special day? I
look at it, Carl. That's that's day problem. That's what
we do, all right, bitter Man, to do your disclaimer
(14:38):
for a good man were about to do. Ask bitter Man,
you ain't aboudy to get nothing out of this, all right?
You ain't gonna get Nathan out of this. Nathan, I'm
not here, alright, You're not trying to help. Okay, here
we go, Tyler. I wish that would help you, soil
Tyler in Houston, says, my parents are celebrating their fiftieth
(15:02):
wedding anniversary. Oh wow, uh, And I went. I went
to my dad's office to print the invitations, and he
didn't know I was there. He came in with a
cup of tea and a cup of coffee. He handed
the tea to his assistant and she smiled and winked
at him. My cousin works here too, And I asked
him if there was something up with this lady. He said,
my dad brings her a cup of tea daily and
(15:23):
he eats lunch with her often. She's a real fly
lady with long black hair. Should I ask my dad
what's going on? True? Ain't your damn business? Ain't ain't
your office? You do? See you say you went to
your dad's office. Ain't your damn office? And your dad
(15:44):
has already started celebrating. Okay, your dad, I think now
her mom, his wife. Hey, hey, you celebrate how you
won't to dad is celebrating? He won't do Okay, get
the motions off that computer and go and get out
(16:06):
the gettations you need. And you need to take ass
down the staples and fantadamn daddy's office all right, Vanessa
in Newark, New Jersey, You're anna love this, one bitter
man says. I'm a sixty one year old divorced female
in my prime, and I meet nice men, but they
(16:27):
don't know how to treat me. So I invite them
to dinner and I pay for it. My younger brother
told me the men are using me, but I don't
see it that way. The men either don't have the
finances to take me out, or they are secure enough
to let a woman take the lead. Why is it
a problem when the lady wants to treat the man.
Why is this such a big deal in society? I'm
(16:50):
not a problem at in this deal? Did you got
set up here? Everybody get what they want. You get
to eat with a nice gentleman and naget to enjoy you.
Everybody get what they want. Now you have met men
who can't give you that. So you are helping everybody,
and nothing wrong with it. Till your brother to mind
his own damn business. Okay, you are getting what you
(17:13):
want out of life. That is great. You're the prime
of your life in my right timing. And all of
this is by people that won't mind ain business. That
seems all that the lone man name business. You know,
we don't really need to talk to the person that's writing.
We need to talk to the other people. That was
a problems. Is getting on my nerves. This ain't got
(17:35):
nothing to do with you, man. You didn't invited them
and pay for it. I would surely ain't never about
nothing and never will until I die and come back. Okay,
where huh? Where from? She's from? Newer, New Jury. I'm
going up to a nice It doesn't bother you that
(17:59):
she's she's a little older than you like me, might
like to eat with a younger mantand I'm I'm in
the business now, all right, here we go. Jose in
Miami says, I'm in my late thirties and I've been
dating a female for three months and she's got great conversation,
(18:20):
but she gets too controversial with others when we talk
about current events. She is a Trump supporter, and I've
never voted a day in my life, so I'm okay
with hearing her out, but none of my friends like
having her around. She's the finest chick I've ever dated,
and she can cook as good as my grandmother. The
(18:42):
sex is the best too, And my friends say she's
not the one for me, and I can do better.
Your thoughts, bitter man, you got three good marks. Cooking,
you fine, and Trump talked. Don't last that long. I
mean I would tru Trump talking. She can cook, she fine.
(19:06):
It's just a little bit of Trump talk. You can
just take that and enjoy the other part. You got
two good ones and one bad one. That's a good
record right there. I mean, that's just me. I don't
know what about you tell me when you know what
you know. Some things y'all gonna do together. Some things
y'all not gonna do together. When she says she going
to the capitol, don't follow her hands down there. You
(19:26):
ain't got nothing to do with that. That ain't too
And you don't know damn when you ain't need to vote,
and that's problem. I need to vote. Yeah, what are
you doing? It's a problem caller, But she fined and
she can cook. It is the best thing he every man. Man.
(19:48):
We need a man can put up with a lot
with a fine ass cook. I think that's in the
Bible something indeed, I don't know where it is, but
it's talk about love and see he can vote and
cancel her vote out. You see what I'm saying. It's
even Stephen right there. Huh, his friends says she's not
(20:09):
the one for him and he can do better. You
can't get better than Fine. You can't get better than
I don't know how you do better than fine. I don't.
I ain't mad at a fine ass Trump supporter. I'm
just not. I'm not gonna get office anymore, right you.
You just make sure you vote Jose. We're running out
(20:33):
of time on this damn good money for I'm not
gonna know what happened to go. Yeah, we gotta stick
opinion and that one all right? Coming up? Uh, next
it is the nephew would run that prank back right
(20:53):
after this you're listening to show Coming up at the
top of the we're miss Anna standing by with our
national news for today. We'll also discuss the latest from Minneapolis,
plus an entertainment news. Will Smith stops filming a major
movie in Georgia and Ussher clears up these usher bucks
(21:14):
uh in the strip club controversy. We'll talk about all
of these stories at the top of the hour, but
right now the nephew is here. We'll run that prank back.
What's you got for us? Nest? How much we got
in the account? Past? Come on, past, how much we
got in the account? Past? Let's go, let's go. Hello. Hello,
(21:39):
I'm trying to reach Pastor Hayes. Pastor Hayes, how you doing?
This is? This is brother Lenna Thompson. How you doing?
I'm good brother, and how can I help you today? Past?
I'm actually one of your members at the church, and
I want to just command you that you're doing a
good job the way you are displaying safety. Let me
(22:00):
say that first and foremost. Okay, cool, thank you. You know,
we just want everybody to be safe and healthy. And
your name again, the brother Lina Thompson. Okay, and and
and other times I'm trying about to be in the
middle of dinner. How can I help your brother? Well,
here's what I wanted to ask you, man, uh Hans,
I want to ask you this. I know, you know
a lot of people are going through different things, and
(22:23):
and people are, you know, trying to make sure they
keep food and stuff in the house because you know,
time like this, you know you kind of want to
stay put, and but you want to make sure you
got enough food and water and things like that. So
but but but what I wanted my reason for calling
you is I wanted to ask you how how much
money do we have in the account? Come again, the
(22:45):
church account? How much money do we have in there? Brother? Brother?
What what do you say? Your name was? Again? Brother?
My name is brother Lenna Thompson. Okay, Brother Thompson. How
did you get my person to sell phone number to
be calling me at home the time of day? Well?
I got this number from one of the brothers at
the church. What what brother? The church if they know
not to give my person the number out to to
(23:07):
people I don't know? Are you? Well, I'm a I'm
a but I'm a but I'm a member though I'm
a member. Well, how how long you've been a member?
Because I've been passing this church for ten years and
your name ain't familiar to me. How long? How long
have you been a member at my church? I've been
a member of probably going on going on three years now,
but I ain't I ain't been since, you know, since
(23:28):
that day I joined. I you know, you know, I
kind of got caught out there, you know how I go?
But uh wait, wait wait wait wait wait wait, So
you you've been a member of my church two or
three years. You ain't been to the church, and two
to three years are you calling me to ask me
about finances of my church. Well, I'm understand what you're
looking for. Well, I am a member, so I mean
I do how to Don't I how the right to
(23:50):
know what we got in there? What we got in
the account? Actually you don't. You don't have to write
to that question. If you don't actively come to the church.
You can't come to the church sign of the church
and then call me three years later asking me what
we got going on at church? So I need to
understand what is your purpose? Well, like I say, everybody
going through hard times, I'm trying to see what we
(24:12):
got in now, because you know, I need to pick
up a few things from the stove. I don't have
the money right now, but shouldn't I be able to
lean it on my church? Though? You lean on that.
We've done a lot of stuff in the community. We've
been feeding the elderly, we got a food bank, we've
been cashed happing people some money that when we can.
But you ain't been at this church, and three years
(24:32):
you can't call me after three years and think I'm
about to give you some money for something I don't
even know if you're a real member. I am a
real man, I'm a real member. So hold on, hold on,
hold on, hold hold on, past hold on, hold on,
hold on, no, no no, no, hold on, by boy. Look here,
I'm trying to sit down here dinner with my family.
You sitting here on my last nerve. Look here, brother Thompson.
(24:54):
I don't know you. I ain't never heard of you.
You am not about to call here and try to
get some money out of me. You ain't even member
of the church. You can't I am a member of
the church because you come to the church one time,
you ain't been back in three years, and you come
to meet for some money. I am a memory your mama.
You are not a member of this church, sir, I
(25:15):
am a member of the church. Look look, look, let
me tell you something. I know. This ain't no. No,
let me tell you where. You can't join my church
two or three years ago and called me three years later,
get my number from somebody and ask me for money
because you're going through hard times. Now, if you was
a true member of the church, you'll understand how we
work and how we give money to people that are struggling.
(25:36):
I just delivered forty meals today to our elderly. Last
week we cast out people money to go pick up
grossing compare. What do you need? Do you need my cash? Aff? Then?
Do you need my boy? Boy? You're gonna make me
because you ain't even tiring? So how are you not tiring?
And think you clod you? I have fell on bad times?
(25:57):
Didn't I say I fell on bad times? You feel
on bad times for three years? Hey? Hey, you know
it takes longer for some people. Okay, why are you?
Why are you judging me in opposed trying to figure
out how to cash apt me so I can get
on a number of my church. I don't know if
you some scam artists trying to get money from the church. Sir,
I have never met you. I don't know you. A
(26:19):
matter of fact, I'm about to call it the deacons
to see who you are and why they would give
my number to some points to call me and ask
me for some money. Hey, let me say this to you.
If you don't cash at me, then I'm funny at
all the members that I know you, I know our
church ain't no mega church. You know, we got three
four hundred members already know so, But but I would
let every member know that you're not cash happen me
(26:41):
to help me in a time and need. I will
do that. Rob Thompson, you can let them know. You
can Facebook and Instagram and you can put it on
that TikTok and cag me in it. I ain't giving
you a dime. I don't know you. I ain't never
heard of you. A matter of fact, you need to
get off my phone. I got dinner with my wife
about to go on. Man, I ain't got tired of
be going back and forth with you. I need to
(27:02):
know who gave you my number, so I can call
them up and tell them, don't be giving my number
out some stranger who ain't been our church in two
to three years and gonna ask me for some money,
some cash out or if you don't get off this phone,
who gave you? Okay, so let me ask you something.
So so you know Deacon uh Marvin Dillet don't know
Diacon Martha. Yeah, what about him? Do you know he
(27:24):
listened to the radio every morning. Yeah, he's listening to
the Steve Harvey Martin show, Pastor Haze, you just got
pranked by your boy, Deacon marm Boy, I see, and
that's why Deacon Mary get kicked off the board. Boy,
you got me eye in my yard. Yeah. My neighbor's
(27:45):
looking at me like I'm crazy. They know I'm not
on the block or you almost made me because you
can't be doing that during this time, man, past you
all right? Man, Man, I'm good, man, I'm baby baby,
everything good. My wife's came out here. Boy. You don't
want how to set it off. You don't want the
first lady to go out. Okay, man, but no, we
(28:08):
take care of our church man. We feed them, sending
the money. Man, deliver meals. Man, make sure abody good
during this time. That's good man. Hey man, before we
get off, you gotta let me know what is the
baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the land. Man,
it's a Steve Harby Morning show with that, isn't it? Nephew, Timmy,
(28:30):
I have every right as a member to know what
we got in that account. You understand what I'm saying.
I have every right. You don't matter how you come
into church, you don't matter. You need you know I
don't even time we're pay offering. Listen to the team time. Yes,
you don't. You don't think you have a right to
know what your church got into account? I think so?
(28:52):
Hell yeah you need you know? Franking Path only been
there one time. Franking alright, all right, here we go,
coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
some entertainment and national news for you right after this.
You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show in today's
(29:14):
entertainment news. According to the Black Information Network, Will Smith
and Antoine Fuqua have announced that they will stop filming
their new film Emancipation in the state of Georgia. The
decision is largely driven by the state's newly approved restricted
voting law as B two O two. This law was
signed by Governor Bryant Kemp Brian Kemp and has been
(29:37):
described as the new Jim Crow. Because the measures enacted
would possibly reduce voter turnout among people of color, we'll
release the statement in part that read, we cannot, in
good conscience provide economic support to a government that enacts
regressive voting laws that are designed to restrict voter access.
(29:58):
Way to go the word hit him. No slave movie
over here while you acting like it still exists. That's
what we ain't any movie. I like, yeah, I love it, yes, yes, sah.
But in the meantime, we really need to register to
(30:18):
vote in Georgia, I mean really really really get ready
for the Yeah, come out in droves like they've never
seen before, right, you know? Yeah? And uh, you just
gotta ask this question, what's going on with Usher? There
ever been reports, uh I met that Usher kicked it
(30:40):
at the Sapphire in Las Vegas and made it rain baby,
but not with dollars with Usher bucks. Okay it was money,
Usher bucks. Yeah, it was money that had his picture
on it, like in one Instagram user put it, put
them on blast, posting pictures and screenshots of the money,
(31:03):
and asked his followers, what would you ladies do if
you danced all night for Usher? And he threw this.
A source in the no says that while Usher did
kick it with some dancers, he compensated them handsomely. Okay,
that doesn't even sound like Usher. He compensated them in
the thousands. Compensated it was in the thousands anyway, nephew,
(31:34):
thank you a thousand dollars in Usher money. Thousand no
real money, real money, real money. Well, later on he did,
but that beginning he was using usher bucks. Mean funny. Yeah,
he had bottle service, the whole nine. You know, all
of this was paid for in real dollars and the
club said that they were happy. They'd be happy to
(31:55):
host him again anytime. Apparently the usher bucks were made
promote his new Vegas residency. She was a promotion promotion.
So I'm going to Burmingham. I'm gonna throw out some
time of dollars and you know, USh his ass. That's
(32:19):
what they would do. Yea. He had to be at
the Sapphire in Vegas. He couldn't do that in Magic City.
What y'all know about her money? Yeah, so it was
just a promotion for his movie or his new res
(32:42):
residency in Vegas. Yeah. Oh you know what, I got
some got some usher bucks. Oh no, no, I just
want to announce though, in music News, number one song
in the country right now, Leave the door open, bro.
Not only is it the number one song in the country,
(33:03):
it's the number one song that's mimic or lip sync
on tiktop and Instagram all over all over spy you
leave the door. Yeah, all right, thank you? Guys, all right,
time now for today's headlines. Today, it is time for
the news with miss Ann Trip. Y'all, thank you very much. Well.
The suburban Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed a
(33:26):
twenty year old, unarmed black man named Dante Smith has
resigned from the force along with the chief of police
in that town. It's called Brooklyn Center. Some sixty people
who are arrested overnight in protest for breaking curfew, and
the mayor of Brooklyn Center, Mike Elliott, who's African American,
he says he totally understands why people have been protesting.
We've seen this bar too many times where a young
(33:47):
black man or woman is holdover by police or encounters
police and they end up dead. And what these young
people who are protesting are asking is when, well, then stop.
The officer has identified as Kimberly Potter. She's president of
the Brooklyn Center Police Union and a police trainer. Apparently
she was a training that day, and reports are that
(34:09):
she was involved in a shooting of an artistic man
two years ago, where she allegedly covered it up by
instructing two of the officers involved to leaves the scene.
In separate squad cars, turn off their body cams, and
not talk to each other. Those officers were cleared by
the County DA and no charges were ever filed in
that case. The twenty six year old veteran twenty six
year veteran insisted she thought she was firing her taser
(34:31):
and not her service pistol against She was not a rookie,
she was twenty seven year veteran, but she could face
criminal charges because of well as. Meanwhile, Attorney Benjamin Crump
says he wishes people would stop talking about training. She
was a training officer, and so it's not about training,
it's about implicit bias. They could have given him a ticket,
(34:52):
just like in George, Florida. They could have given him
a ticket. They used the most force when it comes
to del well of minorities, and we can't have these
two Americas. One way we treat black Americans different from
white Americans and policing, which brings me to the fact
that the prosecution rested its case yesterday and the Derek
(35:13):
Chauvin George Floyd murder trial, so the defense began to
present its case, beginning with the use of force expert
named Barry brood I felt that Derek Chauvin was justified
and was acting with objective reasonableness following Minneapolis Police Department
policy in current standards of law enforcement, and his interactions
with mister Floyd Well. However, mister Broder asserts that Chauvin
(35:36):
was acting in accordance with Minneapolis police policy. You may
remember that that city's police chief testify that Chauvin was
not following policy and he wanted him fired. All fifty
states are following the Food and Redministration's recommendation that states
stopped using the Johnson and Johnson vaccine for a while.
Take a pause because six women have suffered serious conditions
evolving blood clots. And President Biden says he wants all
(35:59):
the American truth side of afghanistand by September eleven. Now
back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show?
All right, Come on, junior, why don't you do the
honors and introduce your boy, your writing partner, all of
that it is. And gentlemen, this is my writing partners,
sick partner and all. He has a dark, twisted mind.
Let the Jim I present to you the mind of
(36:20):
Jane Anthony Brown. Oh lord, all right, here we go, here,
we go morning. This is this is black measurements, directions
and information from black people. We don't talk the way
everybody else talk. So you gotta know what they're saying
when they're saying. So if a black person tells you
put in a lee a little bit, just a lee
(36:41):
a little bit, that's a half of that's a half
a tablespoon or a half or the half a tablespoon.
So you know, all right, if they say put a
whole lot in there, if you were a whole lot,
that will be one to two cups. That's a whole lot,
a whole lot. That's a whole lot. Yeah. Now if
they tell you put in much as you won't, as
(37:04):
much as you won't. If you're putting it much. If
it's liquid, that's six to seven glasses. Okay, it's six
to seven glasses. If it's chicken. If it's chicken, that's
eight to nine pieces. Okay, just so you don't get
it twisted. If it's liquid, six to seven glasses, if
it's chicken. If it's cake, it's a half a cake.
(37:26):
When they say take much as you won't, that's a
half a cake. And somebody gonna be mad. Just know that,
all right. I can't tell you. If they tell you
around a bottle cup, around a bottle cup, that's not
a full cup, okay, because you're gonna throw everything round
a bottle cup. That's like basically it could be maybe
(37:49):
a half a cup or close to a half a cup.
If they say meet me round about six thirty, that
means that means seven loop or seven thirty. Okay, don't
get drawn off. That's that's you got a window to
play with. If they say we finn it eat, you
(38:11):
need to get your ass over there right now. Because
they say they say we eat. This is a tricker
with him finn. If they say come when you get ready,
this can really throw you off because if you come
when you get ready, you can show up way too
damn early, or you can show up and it's over with. Okay. Yeah,
(38:36):
this means I'm on my way and I'll be there shortly.
So those I hope those are helpful. It don't. It
don't really say timmy. It just means you need to
get your ass over there right away. Yeah, all right, Jay,
thank you. Crazy man coming up with thirty four and
(39:00):
it's after the hour. We'll have more of the Steve
Harvey Morning Show, More ignorance, more craziness. Right after this,
you're listening to the String Show. Kem Potter, the Brooklyn
Center police officer who fatally shot Dante Wright, has resigned
from office, effective immediately. Potter wrote a letter Tuesday to
(39:22):
Mayor Mike Elliott, acting city Manager Reggie Edwards, and Police
Chief Tim Gannon, saying, I have loved every minute of
being a police officer and serving this community to the
best of my ability. But I believe it is in
the best interest of the community, the department, and my
fellow officers if I resign immediately. Mayor Elliott announced Chief
(39:42):
Gannon is also stepping down. The resignations came, of course,
following the second night of unrest in Many, Minnesota that
included looting, clashes with police, and arrests. Yeah. You get
to quit the jobs to get the money and running.
It's sad. Yeah, they get their penship, you know, and
(40:03):
then they get to move to another area, another county,
another city, and the stake possibly work again. Yeah. Meanwhile,
Dante Wright is dead because you killed him, and his
son has no father now two year old son. Yeah,
it's just I mean watching it last night. You know,
(40:23):
the protesters are gaining protesting again last night. You know
we talked about the second night when a former officer
or whatever, Kim Potter. Potter, but she's been on the
force for so many years, twenty so much experience, so
she shouldn't know the difference between her gun and a
taser gun. And you want to think it was a mistake. Oh,
(40:47):
it was a mistake. But you can't make mistakes. You're
not allowed get it. But I mean it was clearly
a mistake. Yeah, yeah, but I mean they called somebody's life,
I mean yeah, and they stopped him for air fresheners
in his window. This tag when I just think that's
(41:10):
the whole thing is and the tag how how are
we going to get tags? The DMV has been closed forever,
you know, come to COVID. Yeah, because of COVID the pandemic. Yeah,
come on. And she was training racial profile. Yeah, she
was training some that she was training the train he
(41:33):
needed to be gone too, because you learning from That's
what we're saying the policing. There's a problem. This is
a pattern. You know, she training people and this is
a result of a lead officer that has all this experience.
You kill somebody over traffic stop, that's what happens. This
is horrible. I mean, we get killed over whatever you
(41:54):
and and because and people are saying, you know a
lot of people are saying, well, why didn't he comply?
Why didn't he Why didn't you just get out of
the car? Why because he's scared? Don't Why don't you
what don't you see about that? What don't you have
no idea? You have no idea? How much your heart
is racing? Right man? Yeah, you have no idea? Ten
(42:14):
miles down the street. Uh. Derek Chauvin is on trial
for the murder of George Floyd. You think I'm not
scared driving my car and get stopped by the police?
Come on? And he was in custody, Yeah you had.
And if three officers can't subdue a twenty year old
man and put him in handcuffs and put him in
(42:35):
the car and he ends up dead, something's wrong, southing wrong.
Something is wrong. You know he you guys outweighed him.
It's three of you. You couldn't handcuff him and put
him in the car. He's dead? Because this is great.
And I heard Dante writes aunt On, I think it
was don Oh yeah, did you hear her and things
(42:56):
that she was saying. And then it's hard to accept
him when you just see recently the mass shooting's going
on in Colorado at the grocery store, and you walked
this suspect out, Yeah, grocery store. And you're not saying,
you know, kill them or kill treat us, Yeah, saying
(43:19):
the same thing. Give them the benefit of the doubt,
process of the law, whatever. If whatever you had to
do to arrest Dante, then do that. But you killed them, Yeah,
you're you're right. And even if they were black officers,
think about that, who killed a white man? Come on?
I mean, you know all you have to do is
it's no such thing as an accident. Yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly, Junior,
(43:42):
It's not an accident. You know. It's just so disheartening
and ridiculous and just I mean, I don't know what
else to say. This happens too often, it just really does.
All Right, Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears again
here and the nephews gonna be in the building with
today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to
(44:05):

four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the

over the space was year Now, you as the one
that told us that it was a few spaces away
from the miso limb. Now we got out there and
prayed over my sister friends as bearer and find out
that we were in the wrong space. Then they say
(45:53):
you was the one that told it to us. So
I don't even know what you're talking about. The Jew
is the one that told us that my sister I
don't give out spaces. I'm in an administrative office. I
don't know why you're working out. I don't know what
You was the one that told us this. No, yes,
you're dead. You was the one that my grandbaby said
that you talked to the woman named Tabor, and you
(46:14):
had us out there standing over some white man's body
and it water wrong out of concert. So I can't
tell you where spaces. So your granddaughter lied to you.
Ain't nobody lied to me that you had us out

this white man's body. It was right. Hello, I'm listening
(46:58):

the Semmons family is, not Simon, that Stamons, Stamons. I
don't know a Simon's family. That's what I'm telling you.
(47:20):

Here's what I need you to do. Can you go
out there and pray over my sister body. I don't
know where your sister is buried. Its supposed to have
been sex badens away from the mother limb. I don't
are there any faces? Where is it? Where is it
that section two? We was in section two, but there
(47:42):
was some white man we was that That wasn't my sister. Friends, Okay,
I don't even know who your sister, friends is I
do not even know where section two is. Whoever came
into the cemetery and said that they spoke to me,
They probably did speak to me, and I probably got
the information from a concert, but I never told them
(48:03):
exactly where the spot was. So they were out there
praying over your sister, and they were in the wrong spot.
That's not my problem. That's praying over some white man.
That's not my problem, sir. If you gave the wrong spot,
if you gave the wrong information, it is I don't
give the wrong information. I tell them, yes, she's in
section two. I did not physically go out there and
(48:25):
point to the spot to tell them to pray over
that spot. Let me explain what I'm trying to stop
from happening. If my people come out there, it's gonna
be some more bodies getting buried, and I don't want
nobody to get her. I mean, your family can come
up here. It's not gonna be no more bodies being
buried that What they can do is come up here writing.
We can conversate about this, but it's not going to
be an up world here. I want you to go
(48:48):
out there and you pray over friends of the body.
I'm not going out to pray over nobody's body. It's
not family member. I didn't tell them the wrong information.
Do you love the Lord? Then you ought to have
some sympathy. I want you to bouy your head right now. No,
(49:08):
I'm going to end this conversation. All the work to
do now they come in and lust to me. I

more thing for you? I'm ending the car. Okay, this

That don't mean now I ain't all right? Check it out.
You gotta tell me one thing. What's the baddest radio
(49:59):
show in the land. Come on, y'all ought to be
on your feet right now, Ye on your feet. I
want to see everybody in Zoom on their feet. Come on,
give it what. Normally there's not that much to laugh
at the funeral home, but you changed on that. Yeah, change. Yeah,
(50:21):
that white man's body, that white man body, and see
the good party about. When you come in screaming, it
throws them off when you you can't another way. You
came in hot you. They don't have time to think. Man,
you got to come at it. He should have gone
to Memphis, gone to bury by Bernards. You're right, that'd
(50:42):
be a good call right there. Yeah, all right, Bernards,
y'all be on the lookout if you just might give
you a call. That man be landing the cans get though.
That scares me. They uncle, I love him on that
show man. Yes, he is crazy. It's crazy. Nothing bothers him.
He loves nothing, He loves it all embalming. You're going
(51:08):
to pick up the bodies, drive a herse around the city.
That's that's his person. If you know, if you know
any funeral home people, that's how they are. They will
they wire pulling the drive to it. Get something to
eat in the herd the body in the back. Wow,

(53:03):
me fight her? What Wait till you hear this letter?
Wait till you hear it, he won't let me fight her.
We'll get into it right after this. You're listening to
the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Guys, it is time now

on relationships, on sex, on dating, on work, parenting, and more,

I pop it for you today. Yeah, so people who
know we really have letters, these are real. Bugle up it,
(53:47):
hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
is Strawberry Letter. Subjects he won't let me fight her.
Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been dating an amazing guy for
two years and I feel like I have finally found
my future husband. He is great with my kids, and
my family loves him. I couldn't have asked for a
better man to enter my life. But there's just one problem.
(54:12):
It's his ex girlfriend that won't go away. He was
honest about a crazy ex that he had had a
bad breakup with, and he's been trying to end all
of the communication with her, but she seems to be
slow and does not understand when he says, to leave
me alone, to leave him alone. She has made these
past two years a living hell for me and my man.
(54:34):
She follows us around and drives by his house and mine.
Whenever we talk about this situation, the conversation goes left
and he defends her, and it makes me angry. Most
of our arguments are over her, and I feel like
I'm fighting harder than he is. In my younger days,
I had a way of handling females like this because
(54:55):
I was as ignorant acting as she is now. But
now that I'm older, why and a professional, I'll handle
her differently. She deserves a good butt whipping, but I'm
not going to do anything until she comes in my
face or I catch her outside my house. Then she's
going to get smacked, no doubt about it. I told
(55:15):
him what my intentions are, and he keeps asking me
not to fight her. I want to scare her, beat
her at her own game, and make the foolishness stop.
I told him the next time, the next step will
be for me to leave him, because I'm sick of her.
I love this man and want to proceed further, but
she's a never ending nuisance. How do I get him
(55:36):
to see that she's a hindrance to our relationship. I
don't want to hurt her, just scare her away. How
do I handle this? Okay, he already knows she's a nuisance.
He knows that you all are together when she's stocking
you she drives by the house. He already knows because
you said that at the beginning of your letter. He
(55:57):
told you he was honest about his crazy ECT. What
I'm more concerned about is that he's defending her when
you guys argue about this, He's defending his crazy X.
Why is he doing that? She's a nutcase, right, She's
been doing this for two years, and he's still defending her.
(56:18):
I mean, does not sound crazy to you? Well, because
it does sound crazy to me. He keeps asking you
not to fight her, and I agree with him that
about that, because she's not worth it. But why isn't
he getting a restraining order or something on her? I mean,
she's stalking you guys? Why is he letting you do
everything you said in your letter? You're working harder than
(56:39):
he is, and this shouldn't even be your fight. He
should handle it. He should handle it, Or is the
reason he's so nonchalant and not handling it and defending her.
Is he still dealing with her? Mm? Surely that has
crossed your mind a time or two. Well, I think
you're way more upset about out it. You're way more
(57:00):
angry about it, and you're way more ready to take
matters into your own hands. And you shouldn't have to
do that. He's not acting like a future husband to me.
You think this is such a great guy, not to me.
You know, we marry for love, of course, but we
also marry for security. It's very important that you know
you feel protected by your man. He's not doing that,
(57:22):
and here you are having to deal with his crazy
X because he's doing nothing. You've threatened to leave him
because you're sick of her. This may, you know, be
a deal breaker. It should be a deal breaker, because
who knows. You know, we've heard of stalkers and the
craziness that can happen. So I would just say, you know,
be aware and leaving him is not a bad idea
(57:45):
if he continues to do nothing. Jay, Okay, let me
just say something. Because you don't know, you don't know,
cousin viting, you know, all the stuff don't work on
a crazy person. It just don't work. None of these
things work on a crazy person. What y'all need to
(58:05):
do is move because he has seen her get beat
up before by another girl, his last girlfriend, so he
knows ass whooping is not gonna take. Y'all need to
move far, far away from her wherever you can go
to get away from her because the ass whooping, the talking,
(58:25):
the taunts, none of that is gonna work. She but
ain't crazy, and you need to move away from her.
He knows. That's why he's telling you not to fight her.
It ain't gonna work. He don't he know. He he
doesn't see her get her as by his last girlfriend,
and he hears back with the same problem. That's why,
(58:48):
not only that she might poop your ass, because she crazy.
So you need to leave us alone, leave it alone,
move away and call her today. That's the best you
can do because she crazy moves. But I'm moving out
of my house though, all right, come on, yeah, I'm
(59:08):
no seriously shirty. I'm with Jake. Listen, he he know
exactly what level or crazy she asked. You don't see
he know whatever he said, That's why he begged you
not to fight up. It ain't the losses he know.
She see, you can't really fight crazy or restraining order shirty,
(59:28):
don't do nothing for crazy people. They ignore restraining orders.
That makes me come back over the way you ask
you for the fire. Yeah, see once they filed, you filed,
they showed back up. So you just hearing no, Shirley,
she not used the people popping out of bushes. She
not used to walking out the dope people are hanging
on the roof. He's not used to road from under
your car. You're not using none of these this stuff

young lady wrote in She's been dating, she says, an
amazing guy for two years. She feels like she's finally
found her future husband. He's great with the kids. The
family loves him. She couldn't ask for a better man
to enter her life. But the problem is her future
(01:00:32):
husband's X. All right, crazy X. She's stalking them, following
them all around, showing up at their house. You know
he's done nothing. You get an arguments about it. He
defends her. You say, in your younger days you would
have beat her down, but you don't do that anymore.
(01:00:53):
You're you're thinking that she's you know, you want her
to come up to the house or something like that,
or show up and then you'll fight her. He doesn't
want you to fight her. You've told him the next
step for you would be to leave him because you're
sick of her. You love him. You want to proceed further,
but you know you can't because it'll be a threesome
because she's never she's always around us. You don't want
(01:01:15):
to hurt her to scare How do you handle this? That? That?
That is the recap of the letter, the crux of
what's going on, Junior, Finish your response. Please just gonna
hear from the nephew after you. Nobody is ready for
his love. Great you she do stuff that crazy people
do like you ain't ready for somebody to hurt their
own self. See if you can't hurt nobody, who will
(01:01:37):
ram their own head up against the garage dough. That's
how crazy she is. She is not afraid of y'all. Yeah,
you know you ain't ready for people to do what
you're gonna do when you hear that, you ain't had
to fight yet. That's crazy. So how did you gonna
(01:01:58):
handle her? This woman alone? Y'all? Just try to pretend
like she won't even exist, because she gonna be around.
She's gonna be that. You ain't ready for her. Tell
him you ain't ready for the cree y'all? Ready for
a woman you haven't see how strong wanna pick up
a man cover come out of man cover hole but herself.
You ain't ready for that type of cree. You ain't
ready for her to jump off the roof on your ass.
(01:02:19):
You ain't ready all that. You ain't. He got ready again?
You got ready for that in the fight? Man? You
that would tell you get ready? You can't. You don't
know what to do with that? All right? I said,
(01:02:39):
leave him, Jay said, move away. Je said he agrees
with Jay, move away because she really is crazy. What
do you say Tommy, I gotta go a different direction.
Y'all beat his ass. If he don't let you beat hers,
you in me like the time you see her and
(01:03:00):
trying to get this as soon as he don't let
you beat his ass right there by the back when
she passes by the house, how dozens of eggs outside
and wear that car when she passed by, let me yes,
And if he don't throw no eggs with you, beat
that ass. Beat his ass again. Now here's what I
want you to do when she following. Yet, when she following,
(01:03:21):
y'all let up follow. Then turn down a dirt road.
Take it by five miles deep. Now we're in a
dead end. Now get out the car and beat that ass.
That's because that's all you're trying to do. You're trying
to get her by herself, all right. You don't want
to be scared to go down the dirt road. Cool,
hit your brakes, real heart, get whip lasts. Now you
can sue her behind you see what I'm saying? Mail
(01:03:43):
hrs some boxing gloves with a note that says see
you soon. I see you All this though, you got
to love she loved this man shirt. If you want
to have this man, you got to go with you.
Sometimes you got the match craze, you have to match
it sometimes. All right, y'all watch the help, you watch
(01:04:04):
the help. Make her one of them many pine real,
make her one of them and leave that on the
doorstep and let her know. I just want the truce.
I want us to try to get along. Let I
eat a couple of slices of that pot, you see
the one where I'm going. These are things you got
to match crazy with crazy. I disagree with my fellas today.
I know y'all think that she I think she can
be out crazy and I think this is Let me
(01:04:28):
tell you know, Timmy, she ain't gonna win this fight
because the crazy person didn't write us. I see, I
see you need help. Crazy ain't ask for nothing. Crazies
could with her crazy. They you the one wrote us
asking what should you do? We talked, We talked in
(01:04:51):
the world. Once you whoop his ass, she gonna be
really be mad at you, for that's the man she loved.
You don't whoop his ass. And see what happened to you?
See what happened? See what happened? Do you? Yeah? You
got to match Craig. I'm sorry, there are other men
in the world. What are other men in the world.
(01:05:14):
What you're gonna do? When she rammed her car in
the back of yours in the driveway and get out?
What you're gonna do? Yeah, what you're gonna do? When
she said fire to herself and run at you. I'm
gonna light a few candles. What you what you gonna do?
(01:05:37):
When you let your to her and she knocked your
pit bull out? What's your What you're gonna do? Well
she wants to fight her over. Yeah, I'm not gonna
(01:06:01):
put it out though. All right, guys, well, thank you
for your perspectives. Fire right him and check out the
Strawberry Letter podcast Unda Man coming up in forty six
minutes after the hour, Junior is here to give us
(01:06:22):
some sports talk. Right after this you're listening to. All right, guys,
Junior is here with sports talk. Let's see what he has. Junior,
what you got? Uh? You know today it's a little different. Um.
I didn't know this on Monday, but the State of
Minnesota sports that's the Twins, the Minnesota Twins, the Timberwolves,
(01:06:43):
the hockey NHL team all postponed games on Monday following
the police shooting of Dante right on Sunday night, and
the Timberwolves caught off their home game last night against
the Brooklyn Nets without immediately announcing when it would be rescheduled.
The gem of the Timberwolves called Dante Wright's death devis
and said that postponing the game was the best decision.
(01:07:03):
Teams did reschedule some of their games and played yesterday.
So this was this is taking a really big effect
in Minnesota that even the athletes are starting to speak out,
and you know, they have all the teams in that
area are playing at home. Cancel all the games. Is
making a statement because a lot of athletes you know
now are making their statements and they're they're sick of
it as well. They're using their platforms. Yeah, using their platforms. Yeah,
(01:07:26):
they really are because and I know we're not condoning
the looting and the rioting, and you know there's peacepol
demonstration is what we need and this is the way
to deal with it. You're right, You're absolutely right, right,
you know, Yeah, I applaud them for Yeah, it's the
message that it's sending that you know, it's unified. Everybody
(01:07:48):
tired sick of this man. You know how I'm gonna
played basketball and I know this is going on and
I'm black. Yeah that's true, you know, yeah, you know
I could, we could finish the game. I could get
in my car and be driving home and get stopped,
and then what are you supposed to do? You never know?
This is I do not know what to do. You know.
The only thing I can hope and pray for getting
(01:08:09):
stopped is hoping pray that the officer is black. That's
all I can hope and pray for. I don't even
know that timing because I've been stopped by black officers
and it's been just it's been the same attitude, the
same attitude. Yeah, you know that you never know. You
never know what he's going through when he stopped you.
So he's scared of me too. I mean, well, sometimes
(01:08:31):
they want to prove that they're not giving you a break,
so they're a little harder sometimes, you know what I mean.
Sometimes I'm not gonna let you go. I don't want
you to think because I'm black, I'm gonna let you
run over me. Yeah, true right, Yeah, Which I was
watching CNN, I think it was yesterday morning, and Poppy
Harlowe was on there and she said she was stopped
by the police. And you know, she said, did any
(01:08:54):
of that happen? Did she have to get out of
the car. She said, no, of course not. She said,
they told me to, you know, fix whatever it was.
I forgot why they stopped her, and you know, go
on and have a nice day, ma'am. You know, you
know the difference, the difference. I pulled over one time,
and you know this is how this is how scary
it is. I was at a gas station. I didn't
put my gas cap back on because it was so
(01:09:16):
many officers at the station. I just left. They pulled
me over, and I got scared. I turned on all
the lights everything. He just said, hey man, you just
left your gas cap off. See that's the pressure. Yeah,
but if you listen it, we would rather you just
let us go on with I just home. We're realizing
when we get home. Right, all right, coming up, we'll
(01:09:37):

your comedians. Yeah yeah, all right guys here in today's categories.
Uh stupid stuff people say when they're that they're going
to do with their stimulus check, but they're stimmies. Uh.
Things you say when you think there's a ghost in
(01:10:19):
the house, we don't know. And then um, the last
one is clotes quotes from old black movies. All right, okay, alright, alright,
let's yeah, let's see. I don't want quote ghosts, take

there's a ghost of the house, lord, is that you?
Things people say when they think there's a ghost in
the house. I knew we shouldn't about this house from

in here. Man. All right, we're doing comedy and the
subjects things black people say when anything it's a ghost
in the house. Okay, play if you want to. I
will bust a cap and a ghost ass. Come on,
you want to play if you want to? You say
(01:11:56):
where you think he's a ghost of the house. You
don't even have kids, but you'll say this, Hey, your
kids better go to bed. I'm not playing. I'm not playing.
You don't have a baby in I'm not playing. Somebody
go ahead, timmy. People say when they think there's a
(01:12:17):
ghost in the house, you grit your teeth and say,
meet me a sorry about two minutes. You need to
get everything me a sorry. I ain't got a term.
The the things people say when you ain't get the
ghost in the house com roulette. Here we go, all right,
mister ghost, mister gohot, I didn't pete on myself. Now
(01:12:41):
enough is enough? Enough is enough? Say when do you
think that's a ghost house? You'll call your eggs girlfriend?
But you know what you want to come over to night?
I'm you ain't doing come home. Come, I need you
to whole mean. Yeah. Things you say when you think
(01:13:04):

have sex with a ghost here. Okay, okay, I ain't
scaring no ghost booting. All right, we're doing commonly relationship.
(01:13:25):
Do you think there's a ghost in the house? A hell?
You think what it is? No? You go down there,
you yeah, you're gonna have you say, oh you may
do if you think it's a ghost of the house.
(01:13:46):
You here north and you immediately start marketing things. You
say when you think there's a ghost in the house.
I go, I know you've been not waking them babies up.
I know that. Okay, you've been not waked these kids up,
(01:14:06):

That's what I'm going to do. Okay, some of us tomorrow.
But I got to go to sleep. Okay, all right,
we'll have more, Thank you, guys, more of the Steve
Harvey Morning Show. Twenty minutes after right after this, you're
(01:14:28):
listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, we know
that reggae Jean Paige won't be returning for season two
of Bridgerton, but we were not sure why. And I
knew reported out saying that he is leaving as he
did not like what the producers had planned for the
Duke of Hastings a Hollywood resort, says Um. They told
(01:14:50):
Page six that Reggae is not coming back to Bridgerton
because of creative differences with the executive producer, Seanda Rhimes
and her team. He wasn't happy with what was planned
for his character for season two, which would have kept
him a player but not the focal point of the show.
Oh okay, I like that. Yeah, he said. It was
(01:15:11):
fifty thousand dollars an episode two that he turned down.
If ye four, if he grand an episode he turned out?
Oh I heard myself proclaimed? Am a happy Hollywood retreats
to be. It's a question whether there's been noble in
the mind. It's up this thing scenarios about rageous for
did they take off to get to see him? Troubles
(01:15:33):
and bout your posing end Sean Rymes, I am here
ready to love. How does the bastard often sent of
a hall and its Scott's been dropped in the middle
of the I'm here if you need me right, wo.
That's a lot of money to turn down. But you
know what you want and you if you don't, that's
not what you want to do. You know you know
(01:15:54):
what you want in your career. He believes in him.
You know that he can do other things. And you
know people said the same thing Dave Chappelle when he
turned out all that money in million. Yeah. Yeah, Well
you can turn down fifty if you guess fifty. All right,
We'll have more on the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this, you're
(01:16:16):
listening to the show. Ken Potter, the Brooklyn Center police
officer who fatally shot Dante Wright, has resigned from office,
effective immediately. Potter wrote a letter Tuesday to Mayor Mike Elliott,
acting city Manager Reggie Edwards, and Police Chief Tim Gannon, saying,
(01:16:36):
I have loved every minute of being a police officer
and serving this community to the best of my ability,
but I believe it is in the best interest of
the community, the department, and my fellow officers if I
resign immediately. Mayor Elliott announced Chief Gannon is also stepping down.
The resignations came, of course, following the second night of
(01:16:56):
unrest in Minnesota that included loud in clashes with police
and arrests. You get to quit their jobs to get
their money and running it's sad. Yeah, they get their penchair,
you know, and then they get to move to another area,
another county, another city, and the stake possibly work again. Yeah. Meanwhile,
(01:17:17):
Dante Wright is dead because you killed him and his
son has no father now two year old son. Yeah,
it's just I mean, watching it last night, you know,
the protesters are getting protesting again. Last night. You know,
we talked about the second night when a former officer
or whatever, Kim Potter and Potter but she's been on
(01:17:40):
the force for so many years, twenty so much experience,
so she shouldn't know the difference between her gun and
a taser gun. And you want to think it was
a mistake. Oh, it was a mistake, but you can't
make mistakes, you're not allowed it. But I mean it
was clearly at Yeah, but I mean they call somebody's lives,
(01:18:04):
I mean, and yeah, and they stopped him for air
fresheners in his window and tag. Yeah when you when
I just think that's the whole thing is petty Tommy
and the tag? How how are we going to get tags?
The DMV has been closed forever, you know, come to
(01:18:24):
COVID being Yeah, because of COVID, the pandemic. Yeah, come on,
and she was training. Yeah, she was training some she
was training. I wonder what in the train he needed
to be gone too, because you learning from That's what
we're saying, the policing. There's a problem. This is a pattern.
(01:18:44):
You know, she training people, and this is a result
of a lead officer that has all this experience. You
kill somebody over traffic stop, that's what happens. This is horrible.
I mean, we get killed over whatever and because and
people are saying, you know, a lot of people are saying, well,
why didn't he comply? Why didn't he Why didn't you
just get out of the car. Why because he's scared?
(01:19:08):
Don't Why don't you what don't you see about that?
What don't you You have no idea? How much your
heart is racing? Right man? All right? Coming up next,
it is our last break of the day. It is

We need y other. And we'll be back at forty
nine minutes after to close out the show. Right after
this you're listening to show. All right, guys, here we
are last break of the day on this Wednesday hump day.
(01:19:51):
Oh my god, I can't tell y'all how tired I am.
Three days straight work I put int the work in Charley,
three straight and days. It sounds like you know, you
saw that mean where black people say when they at
the job, I don't coming here to work. I'm about
to come here come to like the one that guy said,
(01:20:15):
if you're trying to hire the guy said, look at him,
you would you come in on your day? Y'all be like, hell, no,
I ain't coming on my day. I an't coming to
Where do they do that? All right? So yesterday Carla
had a bunch of questions she asked us, and so Jay,
you said, you have some for it all day, I
(01:20:36):
got some good questions here. It is just go back
in the day, back in the day. Here we go, Junior.
You know, Charley, everybody, your mama gave you one dollar
to go to the candy store. What are you going
to buy? What are you gonna buy? You got one dollar?
All right? All right, Junior, you go first, Junior, what
(01:20:56):
we didn't go to the cans store. Went to the
candy house. It's missus Hill any house on the um.
She had Hamburgers for fifty cent. I get one of them,
and then the other fifty cent. I guy a penny candy.
Then he had nine latest Jolly Ranchers and the green
the candy ring. All that for a dollar. I'm good
for the day. That's good, straight. She so Hamburgers, Hamburgers.
(01:21:22):
That wasn't carrilated. That was a restaurant. It was. It
was in the hood, the hood. What you're gonna do
with your dollar? You got a dollar? You got one dollar?
What you're going back with your dollar? Okay? I'm gonna
get a pickle with a peppermint Chicago, that's right? That
was cal Yes, yes, Also I'm gonna get some green
(01:21:44):
apple down laters with the watermelon down laters, and then
I'm gonna top it off with something sweet, honey bun babies.
What you're gonna get with your dollar? You okay? I
was growing up in Chicago. Was gonna get the peppermint
stick in the pickle in the deal pickle too? But
(01:22:07):
Charla said that I was get a bag of chips
like the hot sauce. The chips are crunched up. The
hot sauce is already on them. That's about. Yeah, I'm
gonna get a payday. I'm gonna get an almond joy. Yeah,
I'm gonna get some bubble gum and just you know various. Well.
(01:22:28):
I couldn't get apple jolly ranchers because my mom did
not allow those in the house. She hated the way
they smelled, so I could only get grape and cherry.
My mom hated we couldn't. They weren't allowed in our house.
Oh and yeah, and I'll get a I'll either get
(01:22:49):
a grape or orange soda with with my chips with
the I got a dollar. Yeah, y'all know, I'm from
the South, so we do a little different. I'm gonna
get fifty cent whether them cookies that look like little
flowers with the hole in it, and butter cookers they
too for a penny, which means I'm getting fifty damn
(01:23:11):
cookies right there. I'm today right now, but I ain't
gonna stop that. I'm going back in the meat seconds.
I'm gonna get me a slice of that cheese because
I want cheese with them cookies. Right, I'm gonna get
me uh ice cream sandwich, which is ten cents. That
ten cents. I'm gonna give me a push up. I'm
(01:23:33):
gonna get that dust um the urge push up. No, no,
damn it, no no, I'm gonna give me a grape
soda knee high. It's gotten high. That's high. Yeah yeah,
(01:23:57):
I still got fifty cent left, timmy back right. I'm
gonna give me a bag of skins and some tater chips,
and I'm good. I'm rolling up the face getting time.
All right, let me tell you what I got. I
got a dollar, right, I got a dollar. I'm only
gonna buy two items, who white, both of them A
fifty cents of picks. I'm gonna get that freedo pie
(01:24:19):
all right, we're gonna take them Frito turning to the
side cut that cut that side part off, and then
we're gonna dump some chili in there. We're gonna give
you a stone for that. That's that's that's the bomb
right there there. I'm not gonna get a drink. I'm
gonna get something different. I'm gonna get what we call
in Texas and Houston, Texas, a cool cup. It ain't
number frozen cool aid and a star phone cup, but
(01:24:39):
you have to style phone trying to get to it.
You don't understand. Let me spend the sign phone out
and coming home back to it. Back. I got a
Frito pie a cool cup for a dog, but I
asked some chips. All right, we got to have another question.
We got to have another question. All right't here we go,
Here we go, there we go. What were the TV
(01:25:02):
rules in your house? Because not back in the day,
you don't have what we did. We don't have one
damn television. What was the rule for watching TV? And
when did you watch it? What was it? I got
one for you? Uh? If I turned the TV on?
Uh huh, we were watching? What I say, we watched? Yeah,
like so I got I had to beat my little
(01:25:25):
sister home. You know what I'm saying. Whoever got home first?
We got home. If I'm in there watching Gilligan, Ila,
don't come in there changing that I'm watching family to
watch together. Yeah. Yeah, I was more like a baby
boy situation. My daddy just come in and give it remote.
(01:25:46):
That was it. Well, it was a little different because
we my mom didn't have money for to get us
a television. We watched television next door. But the lady
when she came home, she would say they were going
to bed. Now we live next doors, so when my
sister we go home, but we can hear. They asked
(01:26:09):
watching TV. As soon as she said they were going
to bed. Damn, we hit a TV. They were like you.
They didn't like come in back in the day. Thank
you guys, and we appreciate your business every day. Thank
you Jay for coming in another day to the No.
