Speaker 5 (01:43):
You probably got to turn the mouth turn out a
w the mony.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Look, come.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Come on, you'll think that all huh, I sure will.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Good marning everybody you're listening to the voice, come on
dig me now, one and all that Steve.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Harvey Man oh Man got a radio show, yep.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Trying to make it work too. I'm not trying. I'm
I'm I'm getting it. I'm getting it done to the
best of my abilities.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Now.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Something funny my father taught me. He said, so when
you've done all you can do, if you've done your
absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
That used to bug me, man, when my father used

(02:44):
to tell me, that's the son. When you've done your
absolute best and you think you can't do no more.
You've done all you can and it still don't get
the job done. Take yourself a deep breath.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
And some more.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
And you know what I found that has worked every
single time, every single time, because what my father knew
was that what you think is your breaking point or
what you think is your all in all, he says, son,
it's just something about it. Man, if you just gather yourself,

(03:26):
you got a little bit more. Everybody got some more.
And I you know, I gotta be honest with you.
It has worked. It has helped me greatly, and you
know it, everybody does have some more.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
You know.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I tell that to my sons all the time. Dad,
I did my best. Well, let mess you something else.
Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
bit earlier, Could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
well then okay, that's what you should have done. Then see,
there's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,

(04:08):
if you're gonna make them up all the time about
why you don't get it done, I have a very,
very sad a statement for you right now. You're never
gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Not to the top.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
You can get halfway up. Now, you can get a
third of the whey up. You can get three quarters
of the whey up. But if you don't have that
little extra reserve in you, you're not getting to the top.
The top is only reserved for those that have the
wherewithal and the power to desire, the drive and the

(04:46):
gut riching effort to get to the top.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
The top is reserved only for the top. It's just
the top. There ain't but one top. Then the middle done,
ain't it?

Speaker 7 (04:57):
You know?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
The top, the top of the mountain half. It's a
different view at the top. Things look different from up top.
So if you want to get to the top of
whatever your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is,
you got to do extra.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
You have to do more.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
More is expected of you. More, but his what's really crazy,
More is required of you. Don't live your life in
a laxadaisical state.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Don't wake up.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Every day with the feeling of, well, you know, whatever
happens happens. No man have a say so in your life.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
You.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
First of all, let me ask you something. Who has
God named the person that God has given authority over you?
Name the person? But who is the person? Nobody has
domain over you? God didn't create that person. So what
you sitting here for?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Man?

Speaker 4 (05:59):
What are you sitting here for letting people who do
not know direct your path? Why are you worried about
all these people with what they got to say about
you and all these people with what they got to
think about you? When here's the news flash, they don't
know either. All these people that you overly concerned about,

(06:21):
all these people that you go into these answers for,
they need answers to.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Stop. What are you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute.
Here is a solution to all of that.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
You have one source that will be there for you
to the end of time, and that is your relationship
with God. That is the one thing that's solid and
for show. He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell.
He rides with you in the police car. He's with
you on your job up at the school. He's down

(06:57):
there in the board meetings with you, go with you
when you travel on planes.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
He says with you. When you're in a relationship. He
helps you with your parenting skills.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
He helps you. He's there to assist you. He show
if you do the right things, he show you and
guide you to your next job. When you lose your
job and you think it's a rap. There's some good
behind him. Man, God is always working on your behalf.
To those that believe you, just gotta believe. He don't
ask you for nothing else. Believe in me.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
That's all He asks you to do. What you're tripping for.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Man.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
And then when you make the decision to believe in him,
and it comes out your mouth from time to time
somewhere what you're worried about, what people say, what you're
worried about, what they think for?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Why who are they?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
They need God to you telling them you found something
new that you're gonna give this a shot right here now.
They got some yang yin yang and some yak ofty
yakh to say about that when they need God too.
That's what amazes me, man, about people sit up in here, man,
be knocking your dreamings to look. If you're an atheist, man,
do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create

(08:04):
no laws? Why I can't do mine? That don't make
no sense, Man, That makes no sense at all to me.
You have the right to go be whatever you want
to be. You know, if you don't you don't like
the fact that I'm in school, got my head bowed down,
and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Just don't buy your head.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Don't you pray. But if some kids want to get together,
that's some crazy mess. That's what happened in our schools.
We took prayer out of schools, and now look at
our schools. You send your child to school and someone
else comes back home. That's a whole nother thing right here.
That's not what I want to talk to you about.
But I was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,

(08:46):
your relationship with God is essential to your success as
a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
the person that made you to find out what he
created you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who
made your parents. This is God, we created in his image.

(09:10):
Why would you not talk to your maker to see
why you got made? That don't make sense to you.
If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation, you
sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you locked up, you
doing some time, man, be a good time for you
to reflect. But whatever your situation is, Man, God can

(09:31):
get you through it. He can give you the strength,
the courage to wherewith all the understanding everything you need,
the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
You just got a touch base with him. I need
God every single day of my life. And what He's
done for me man off the chain. But guess what

(09:55):
He'll do the same.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Thing for you.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
You're listening to the seed shall ladies and gentlemen, you
know what. It's another day, another opportunity, another blessing, another
gift from God. I don't know how you're looking at it,
but I'm just just a suggestion just to look at
it this way. I know you may be involved in
something that's a little bit challenging. I understand that you

(10:20):
may be facing something today you really don't feel like it.
But guess what He created you just for this moment,
this moment, right here, this day was marked on the
calendar for us to face anything that's adversarial to you.
He gonna work you through it, just like He's worked
you through everything else. Keep the faith. Talk to God.

(10:40):

great one. Today, Steve Harvey, Marty Show, Shirley Strawberry, Mississippi, Monica,
Junior and the Legend that is Nephew Tommy Well Jr.

Don't tell them nothing I.

Speaker 4 (11:44):

can't tell your wife everything.

Speaker 2 (11:50):

right because I'm not doing a stay show next weekend.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
No, we can't go down there to shut the d

to get on no app plane. You're gonna be able
to do nothing. They it's a it's a that president

they wanted. Yeah, he shut that down. It's part of
Project twenty five. It's a mandate from the president to

(12:48):

Speaker 1 (13:04):
People are surprised. I almost choked. People are surprised, Steve,
They really are? They really told y'all.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Yeah, man, what did doctor Phield say? In Madison Square. God,
this country was not built on d I they knew
it did.

On some of the elderly people that I have to
go pick up and bring to the church.

Speaker 11 (15:39):
Make sure they get there okay, and get situated and
make sure they're on time for the service and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Okay, and then you take them back home after service.
Is over.

Speaker 11 (15:51):
Yes, I try to get all of them back home
unless they got family members of something that come up
there and leat them up there and want to take
them to dinner the sun afterwards. But I usually get
everybody back home.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Okay, Okay, Now this class Sunday, which is part of
the reason why I'm calling you. Uh. They saying that
some of the church uh members that was on the
band this Sunday.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
They are complaining, saying that that the church vand was
smelling like weed when they got on that Excuse me,
they say the church van was smelling like weed when
they got on there. And you are the person that
was driving them.

Speaker 11 (16:32):
Oh no, no, no, no, no no no, not not
not the vand that that I'm driving.

Speaker 8 (16:36):

Speaker 11 (16:37):
I don't smoke weed in no vand.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Uh do you smoke weed?

Speaker 11 (16:44):
No, I don't smoke weed. I mean not currently. I
mean I have before, but I don't smoke weed now.
And I would smoke weed before picking some people up
to because no thirst. Now where are you carry from?
Who told you this?

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Well? All I know is what what was come down
the pipeline. And they saying that that a couple of
the members came complain see see now.

Speaker 11 (17:06):
See this just happened last week about this pipeline. I
want to know who the pipeline is because just last
week they came in me talking about that I was
using the vand to go places that I wanted to
go to on my personal time.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Now I don't do that.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
I don't do stuff like that.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
Now.

Speaker 11 (17:20):
I have had a past, I had a history, but
I don't do stuff like that, and I wouldn't smoking.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
No church fan, So are you seriously talking to what?

Speaker 3 (17:28):
What? What? What? We're trying to We're trying to get
to the bottom of it and see what's going on
with you.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Elderly person said, do you know which one?

Speaker 7 (17:38):
I don't know?

Speaker 11 (17:39):
They love me Every Sunday then people tell me they
love me. They say I'm one of the most respectful
young gentlemen they've ever met in their life.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
And so I really find it hard.

Speaker 11 (17:47):
To believe that you you getting these type of complaints
about me.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Okay, one of them saying like who we I don't
know what that means.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Or nothing like that.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
Look, brother, I don't know you too.

Speaker 11 (17:58):
Well, and I know you don't know me, but I've
been driving this van as as as a point to
try to change my life and where I come from.
So this was was something that I wanted to volunteer
even though I'm getting paid to give my time to
do this for the church. And now this is like
the second instance where y'all and came at me on
some stuff about like I'm trying to do something with
this Vand now why would I disrespect the church van

(18:19):
by smoking weed in it and then letting the weeds
stay in there so other people could sell it?

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Okay, so let me tell you what we're gonna do.
We're gonna go out here to the church van to
say we're gonna go out here today and open it up. Now,
if we see any seed to anything around the driver
or seat, then then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely
uhna open the van up.

Speaker 11 (18:42):
But I was raised in that church, man, My mama
go to that church, my grandma see go to that church.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
See the reason we even all left that church.

Speaker 11 (18:49):
And you think I'm gonna mess up the by driving
a ride in the van full of elderly people.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I don't know why they smell like weed, man, Now
I don't I don't got the answers to these questions.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
I'm just trying to.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Tell you that it wasn't me.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Did you have some weed in your pocket and maybe
it with just smell it.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
I ain't had no weed on me.

Speaker 11 (19:11):
Stop trying to say like I had weed on me
and you ain't gonna give me nothing. No, and we
ain't had no weed on me. Okay, Now you ain't
gonna mess up my name or my family's name in
this church and disrespect us like this. Now, We've been
helping this church for years, and I'm trying to tell
you that I ain't riding around in no band, smoking
no weed with no elderly people.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Did you ask any of.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
The elderly people if they had any weed on them?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
No? No, No, I didn't think about no eldly people
having no weed.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
So you just assume it's me what one of them
got got home or something?

Speaker 10 (19:44):
What?

Speaker 3 (19:45):
What? What you know? What?

Speaker 2 (19:46):
You know?

Speaker 12 (19:46):
Who?

Speaker 3 (19:46):
I think?

Speaker 10 (19:47):

weed in the church band.

Speaker 2 (21:09):

Speaker 10 (22:00):
All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
we said we would talk about it. Target is phasing
out its DEI programs and this has a lot of
people upset. A lot of consumers and black owned companies
that have products in the store. Will also talk about
what Trump's most recent executive orders mean for Black Americans.
Ahead of Don't Forget Next month is what Black History Month?

Speaker 1 (22:24):
We'll talk about all that. It's black Trump on the
top of the hour.

Speaker 10 (22:30):
Right after this coming up now it is as the
clo all right, h Colo. This is from April and Newark,
who writes, I'm seeing a guy that is fifteen years
older than me, and I love everything about him except
for sex. He tries to buy me nice things just
so he can tell me that I owe him. I

(22:51):
want the nice things with no strings attached. Why is
he so focused on the sex?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Why don't understand the question.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
You're saying, he buys you stuff to tell you that
you owe him all right, now, is he saying the
stuff that you owe him is the sex?

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Is that what she's saying.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
That's what she's saying that.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Maybe listen to me. He just pointing it out. That's
what it's all for.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Wait what.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
That's that's that's what it's all of this for. That
and nobody helping you out with your rent and paying
card noes and then here sending these kids to school.
If ain't no sex tied to it, that that's he
just he just pointing it out.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
Well, maybe that's what she doesn't like the fact that
he points it out.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
We got I buy cars and swimming pools and diamond
rings for saying, wait a minute, are you buy what now? Cars,
swimming pools, diamond rings for six Burking bags?

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Six?

Speaker 4 (24:12):
I mean, look, man, it's like this. It's it's it's
a it's a it's a form of wining and dining. Now,
the problem she has is you may not be getting
the commitment that comes with all of that. Wives Do
wives get the commitment? Husbands try to provide for their

(24:32):
wives everything they ask for. You're just not getting the commitment.
So he making sure that your The commitment he want
from you is what.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
You do to him. I ain't now yo, men.

Speaker 6 (24:46):
See that.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Yeah that's now. That's tacky. It's tacky, but that's what
he tying it to see.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
So what he gotta do is he just gotta he
just gotta expect it instead of reminding you.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Yeah, no, it don't sound good. It don't sound good.
She knows. I don't want you to forget. That's what
I don't want. Yeah, he don't need to. Too many
nice things and no sex coming up, that's all right.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Exactly?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
You like it a lot? Me too?

Speaker 3 (25:26):
All right?

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Moving on to say you like that bag? Let me
tell you, let me tell you how I like it.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Treva and Queens.

Speaker 7 (25:33):
Right.

Speaker 10 (25:34):
So my birthday is three days after Christmas, and my
husband didn't get me a gift this year. He bought
a new hot water heater in December and we agreed
not to do gifts. But what about my birthday? Why
does he get up tight when I say I expected
a gift. You got that hot water heater for Christmas?

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Better get it there and take that bag.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Listen to me, you see listen. Now, let me tell
you something. What a woman says is not what she
means never, So bruh, you gotta get used to that.
Y'all said, we're gonna get this hot water heater, so
we ain't doing gifts this year. That was for Christmas.

(26:18):
She watered a birthday gift. I don't get the dish
washing for appliances and appliances does not qualify. Trust me,
I don't like your wife. No vacuum clean on the house.
Can't give her no flash screen TV. You sitting up there,

(26:40):
got the game on. It has to be a personalized item.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
Now.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
I don't know how old he is, but he should
know better. Yeah, doesn't say see buying hot water heaters.
That's an over forty thing right there, because young people
don't even know.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
I don't know how the water is heated.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
They just.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
You know, these as homeowners. These are homeowners right here.
They not written these are homeowners. And how much do
how watered?

Speaker 7 (27:12):
He?

Speaker 2 (27:13):
How water? He have messed up Christmas this year, God though,
but they needed it.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
The house needs Yeah, she needs a birthday gift, all right.
Moving on to Chris in Detroit.

Speaker 10 (27:24):
Chris says, my wife's brother came to my house, got
mad at my wife and started yelling at her. I
told him that he cannot talk to my wife like that.
She told me to stay out of it. Now I'm
mad because I stood up for her and she disrespected me.
Did I overstep here?

Speaker 12 (27:43):
No?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Not in your house, not in your house. Not in
your house. Now, you y'all got that sibling thing going on.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
I understand that, but you can't come in my house
talking crazy to my wife. And I'm not loud to
if I holler at her, I get check for hollering
at her. But the hell you in here hollering at man?
So she she was wrong for not understanding your side
of it. That's what she should have said, was baby, baby,
just let me and my brother work through this. We

(28:14):
do this all the time. I ain't he ain't gonna
hurt me, but it's gonna be some yelling. But I
do respect you. Yeah, but he the husband, he did
the right thing.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
I don't care who you are, man, You're not coming
up in here hollering at my wife. Okay, Oh, please understand.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
Me that that.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Yeah, the husband is mad for standing and.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
He should be, and she disrespected him. You ain't got
nothing to do with it, and you should have been
arguing with this food their whole life, all right.

Speaker 10 (28:52):
Last one, Steve, Last one. It's from Mickey and Beaumont.
Mickey writes, I got my boobs done, and my husband
won't stop touching them. He squeezes them and pulls at
my piercings to the point that they get sore.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
He wouldn't want me pulling and tugging at his you
know what? So how how do I get him to
stop this?

Speaker 7 (29:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (29:13):
No, he don't care. He bought him.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
He'd been waiting on them. Happy Birthday to me, Marry
Christmas to me. You don't even want to stand enjoy
that may feeling right now, it's it's like a new Yeah,
I know, as could be aggravating.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
He would get mad if I was pulling on his
junk all the time.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
No, he wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
But she's got piercing.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
We'd be just sitting up here pulling find wo Well,
you know she got piercing. Now, she done decorate it
what you wanted him to do?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
She got piercing. Yeah, So it's you don't.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Feel them up and decorated it.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Girl, How does she get him to stop? That's what
she wants to know.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
He gonna stop, stops brand new toy in the house.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
All right, thank you, Clo. Coming up.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
It's like getting a new refrigerator, DN, don't put no
food in it.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Well, that have some entertainment news for you right after this.
You're listening Steve Harvey Morning shows.

Speaker 10 (30:24):
So many Minneapolis based Target will phase out its DEI
programs that support black employees, black owned businesses, and LGBTQ
plus inclusion. After hearing this, a lot of blacks took
to social media to call for massive boycotting of.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
All Target stores.

Speaker 10 (30:43):
Social media influencer Tabitha Brand posted a video to make
consumers aware of how a boycott would negatively impact the
sales of black owned brands that are sold in Target stores.
Tabitha brand has several products that are now being sold
at Target. Research gathered for the Insider shows at nearly

(31:04):
eight out of ten shoppers in the US shop at Target,
and Target's typical consumer is a white suburban mother between
the ages of thirty five and forty four with a
household income of eighty thousand dollars. So here's a question,
what do you guys think about this? If we boycott Target,
do we boycott every store that has gotten rid of

(31:25):
its DEI program?

Speaker 4 (31:28):
And first of all, and then I believe Target was
one of the contributors to the Trump campaign, if I'm.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Not mistaken, one of the biggest.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
I think, if I'm not mistaken, So you are dealing
with an ownership that is pro Trump anyway.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
Oh, Now what you have to pay attention to is
how many companies follow suit. He did what he said
he was going to do, and and you boycotting Target.
I mean, okay, if that's what y'all want to do,
But what is that gonna do? Because she's absolutely correct

(32:09):
the black businesses that have products in there, they gonna
get hurt too. It's just a we're in a tough
spot here, man, because all this is in Project twenty
twenty five. You see this, Make America great Again. I
kept trying to tell people, make America great again for
who All you could do is push it back. And

(32:29):
every time we push back, we pushing back into all
types of stuff. The DEI is affecting college entry level stuff.
They erased the nineteen sixty four Civil Rights Act, do
you understand there's no more affirmative action, that's no more
holding people to the eye to make sure the minorities

(32:50):
are included.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Na.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Man, So now they gonna make America great again when
it was greater for them when they controlled everything, and
now they're back to trolling. They can hire who they
want to hire, do like they want to do, and
that's a that's a sad space win now.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
And you got to think about it.

Speaker 10 (33:07):
You're sir right, Steve, about hurting our black businesses. I mean,
when you think about it, it's Tamitha Tabatha brand, it's
Taraji p Hens and I think she has hair products
in there. Tracy ellis ross with hair products than Target.
You know, so you're gonna be hurting these people as well.
We I mean, you want to do something maybe, but
is this the smartest move?

Speaker 7 (33:26):
And if you, if you don't get your products out
of Target, where you're gonna go and wherever that's you going?
Are they doing the same thing? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (33:35):
I mean you got to look, man, this guy is
doing what he said he's gonna do right and I
and I said all along it will benefit the rich.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
But I'm very deeply concerned about the common man.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
You said that that's true, and and and and and
and now.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
It's starting to play itself out, and it's it's no
holes barred man.

Speaker 10 (34:00):
But they said day one, step, they said on day one,
And that's what he's been doing. He's been in office
for a week.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Man, he picking up people.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
Ices that is out there busy picking people up, deporting people,
or they down there, they're sending troops down to the border.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
You know.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
And and DEEI they getting rid of all of it.
Because here's the deal.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
If you don't have to understand what the civil rights
movement and affirmative Action did, it made companies have to
hire x amount of minorities and women because otherwise, now
that you don't have to do that, you can put
your people in place and they can turn a blind

(34:43):
eye to all of the other stuff that.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Goes on behind closed doors in the boardroom, because.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
If you ain't got no blacks and women in there
and Latinos and everybody reporting, wait a minute, they're doing this,
it can go unchecked. So now they get to put
all of their white people in power and position and
control the narrative.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Yeah, you're so right.

Speaker 10 (35:06):
In a perfect world, we wouldn't need the e I.
In a world without racism, we wouldn't need these programs.
But because it's not a perfect world and there is racism,
we have to include everyone. And that's what's been happening,
you know, and now they're cutting that out. So we're
gonna be left out.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
If we I don't. I don't have the answer to
that one.

Speaker 4 (35:27):
America wasn't built on dee. I. America was built on
the backs of slaves. So now let's just make America
great degree yeah, for free and here we.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Are, man, So it's gonna be a long ride. Yeah,
and you know, how do we fight this?

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Though?

Speaker 2 (35:50):
What is the plan to fight this? Do we have
a plan to fight this?

Speaker 4 (35:55):
The fight was at the voting box polls. See that
was that was a fight and you lost that fight,
so now you got to take the ass whipping.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
So you know, I don't. I don't really have a plan.
I don't.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
I can't come up with a plan for this because
he has. The entire Republican Party has bowed down to
this guy, and nobody's fighting back. I mean, this dude
is doing some ridiculous stuff too. Yeah, the birthright thing
that he's trying to reverse that. If you're born in
the United States, you don't become a citizen. He's trying

(36:37):
to flip that. That's constitutionally not the correct thing to do,
but he's trying to do that. And the Gulf of America.

Speaker 10 (36:46):
Boy, it's coming up in twenty minutes after the hour.
The Eagles and the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (36:58):

from Cleveland. Expect not to go.

Speaker 3 (38:27):

Speaker 4 (38:27):

ain't going. I told y'all, y'all wasn't going.

Speaker 10 (38:34):

Speaker 2 (38:34):
The fact that the Chiefs and the refs beat us,
It wasn't just the Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
Boy, we ain't got no time for that. It's the
Chiefs and the Eagles, and you're talking about the refs.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Y'all out.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
His voice is really now who you want?

Speaker 2 (38:49):
You you want the Chiefs or you want the Eagles.
That's what your question is. I don want no Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (38:59):
He's upset, man.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
I'm like the mayor g L G L E S Eagles.
That lady spelled elish.

Speaker 4 (40:05):

Speaker 7 (56:15):
It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on time.
We got it for you here. It is Awberry Letter.

Speaker 10 (56:19):
All right, thank you nephew. Subject. Can we fix this
fiasco here? Stephen Shirley. I'm thirty seven and my boyfriend
is forty eight. We met at a club. We exchange numbers,
and after our first date he asked me to be
his girlfriend. He said it wasn't because the intimacy was
so good, it was because he enjoys my company. I

(56:40):
thought he was going to run off when I told
him I have four kids, but he didn't. I have
a twenty year old son and my daughters are eighteen,
six and three. My first two kids are by the
same guy, and my youngest two kids have the same dad.
My boyfriend didn't judge me even after we had sex
on our first date. We've been dating for almost a year,

(57:02):
but now he won't speak to me after what happened Saturday.
My ex best friend and her two sisters jumped us
at a four year old's birthday party. I got hit
in the back of my head and my boyfriend was
pushed down, but he doesn't fight women, so he eventually
got up and got them to calm down. My ex

(57:22):
best friend told my boyfriend that I slept with her
husband and he's the father of my six year old child,
and then she just found out that my three year
old child is by her husband too. I never wanted
my boyfriend to find this out. He asked if I
am still having sex with my ex'es best with my
ex best friend's husband, and I was honest. I stopped

(57:43):
sleeping with that man a few months ago, which overlaps
with me sleeping with my boyfriend. It was a mess,
and I thought, since I have been honest all along,
I could be honest this time, but instead he said
I have no morals and I'm not the woman he
thinks I am. I wanted to curse him out, but
I held it together. Today he said that I cannot

(58:06):
be trusted after betraying my friend. Why can't my friend
get over it? Why won't he hear my side of
the story. Can this fiasco be fixed? No, this fiasco
cannot be fixed. No one wants to be involved in
your mess, or the fiasco as you call it. You
left out the main reason this woman is no longer

(58:28):
your best friend. You left out the fact that the
man the father of two of your children, your four children.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Is her husband. You left that out.

Speaker 10 (58:37):
Why if you were sleeping with your ex best friend's husband,
would you take your.

Speaker 1 (58:41):
New man to the four year old's party? I didn't
get that. Didn't you think they might be there? You
all have kids. This is craziness, And how could you
expect him to act?

Speaker 10 (58:52):
How did you expect this man to act after you
left out that critical part of your so called honesty.
Your actions speak to your character, and the fact that
you were still sleeping with your ex former best friend's
husband while you were with your new man just sounds crazy.
I mean, this whole letter is crazy for what you've

(59:12):
done and all of this. I think you need to
sit down. I think you need to have a seat.

Speaker 1 (59:17):
You really need to figure out who you are.

Speaker 10 (59:19):
You need to stop worrying about that man and your
ex best friend and all that, and just figure out
who you are and what your next steps are going
to be. No, he doesn't want to hear your side
of the story. You have plenty of time to tell
him that, Steve.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
First of all, it ain't no right in here nowhere,
especially from you. Bishop Brona down in Atlanta says something
I saw online that really really helped me a great deal.
He said, you have to be aware of people who

(01:00:01):
play the victim in the circumstance that they created. Now
you're the victim here. You're trying to be the victim
through the whole letter. But you did just him. You know,
you're thirty seven and your boyfriend forty eight, eleven year
difference made At a club. We exchanged numbers, and after
our first date he asked me to be his girlfriend.

(01:00:24):
He said it wasn't because the intimacy was good, because
he enjoyed my company.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
First night.

Speaker 4 (01:00:30):
First night, you just out there just you're just going
at it, y'all having at it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Okay. Cool.

Speaker 4 (01:00:38):
I thought he was gonna run off when I told
him I have folk kids, but he didn't. Well, if
you'd have told him how you had them folk kids,
I bet the hell he'd have ran off. It ain't
the folk kids, it's the story behind the folk kids.
So I thought he was gonna run off when I
told him I had four kids, But he didn't, yah,

(01:00:59):
because he ain't the whole story.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
See.

Speaker 4 (01:01:02):
I have a twenty year old son. That means you
had him when he was nineteen. My daughters are eighteen,
six and three. My first two kids are about the
same guy, and my youngest two kids have the same dad.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Now right, there ain't nothing wrong with that. Ain't nothing
wrong with none of this you.

Speaker 4 (01:01:19):
Saying right here, except them two young kids you had,
they had the same dad. You ain't tell him who
the dad was, don't see. That's where this letter getting tricky.
My boyfriend didn't judge me. He ain't judge you because
he ain't know the facts, and you didn't give him
the facts, or you would have been judged.

Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Even after we had sex on our first date.

Speaker 4 (01:01:46):
Okay, Okay, we've been dating for almost a year now,
but he won't speak to me after what it happened Saturday.
Now Here where the letter get just take a hard
left turn. Yeah, my ex best friend and her two
sisters jumped on us at a four yr old birthday party.

(01:02:10):
What we'll jump on somebody at the four yr old
birthday party. My ex best friend and her two sisters
walked up in the party. Saw y'all in, polled in
on y'all eggs just walked in at a four year
old birthday party.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
Damn chucky cheese, Damn Ronald McDonald. See your ass, oh
site on site.

Speaker 10 (01:02:36):

All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
The subject can we fix this fiasco?

Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
This woman met this man eleven years older her she
thirty seventy forty eight. They had sex the first night.
As soon as they had sex, he asked her to
be her boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
He said.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
It wasn't caused it intimate. Cause it intimacy, he said,
because he enjoyed her company.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
That's a lie.

Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
It was caused the company. It was so intimate, that's why.
And then you said you thought he'd judged you after
he told you told him that you have folk kids,
but he didn't. He would have judged you if you
had told him how you had them four kids. It's
not the four kids and the two baby daddies, that
ain't it. It's the rest of it. It's that we

(01:04:12):
find out later on in the letter. And my first
two kids are with the same guy. My youngest two
kids had the same dad. My boyfriend didn't judge me
even after we had sex on our first date.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
Well he would have if he knew the facts.

Speaker 4 (01:04:27):
Though we've been dating for almost a year and now
he won't speak to me after what happened Saturday.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Now is what happened Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
My ex best friend, this, her girlfriend, and her two
sisters jumped on us, us, you and him, the three
women in that you're whooping up at a four year
old birthday party. Do you know how mad you got
to be to jump on somebody at a four year

(01:04:56):
old birthday party?

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Do you know how mad?

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
She said, When I see you, it's gonna be on site.
I got hit in the back of my head and
my boyfriend was pushed down. There's some big girls, man.
They came up in there backing bus and big girls
came up there, bushing you in the back of the
head and knocking me in down. But he don't fight women,

(01:05:21):
so he eventually got them to calm down. My ex
best friend told my boyfriend that I slept with her
husband and he's the father of my six year old child.
Then she just found out that my three year old
child is by her husband too. Oh yeah, oh yeah,

(01:05:43):
oh yeah, you supposed to you supposed to get your
ass with me, and she just found out too.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
Oh you had another one.

Speaker 4 (01:05:50):
I never wanted my boyfriend to find this out, now
you know why, because he would have been judgmental. He
asked if I'm still having sex with my ex best
friend's husband, and I was honest or not. I love
when people do this, and I was honest. I stopped
sleeping with that man a few months ago, which overlaps

(01:06:14):
with me sleeping with my boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Are you tricky?

Speaker 4 (01:06:19):
It was a mess, and I thought since I had
been honest all along, I could be honest this time. No,
you hadn't been honest all along. Let me tell you
the lie. First of all, honesty is transparency.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
You were not. You had four kids by two different guys.
No problem with that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:39):
I'm not judging you later. That ain't no problem now.
When you got jumped on at the party, it's where
it all got started. They rolled up in that chucky
cheese and they were swiping that. Ronald McDonald had to
get up out of there. What's that big purple or Brooke,
what's that purple thing? Bonnie got his ass out the

(01:07:02):
way that because big girl them came up in there.
Hit you in the back of your head, push your
husband down. He don't hit women, now, he tried. Now,
what the hell going on?

Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
Then?

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
When she told him you are the father that her husband,
who is your ex best friend, her husband is the
father of your six year old and she just found
out he the father of three year old two? And
I thought, since I had been honest a long no,
you didn't. You weren't honest with him, You weren't honest

(01:07:32):
with your.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Best friend, and you slept with your best friend's husband.

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
That's what friends are for, Keith shy. Yeah, okay, so
I could be honest. But instead he said, I have
no morals.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
You don't.

Speaker 4 (01:07:53):
You slept with your best friend's husband, which makes you
hard to be trust.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
And I'm not the woman he thinks I am.

Speaker 6 (01:08:03):
You're not.

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
He didn't know you had did this. I wanted to
curse him out. But what you cussing him out for?

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Oh, now you're the victim.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
Once again, got to be careful of people who played
the victim for the circumstances they created.

Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
Now, are you not the woman I thought you were?

Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
I started to cuss him out, but I held it
together today, he said, I cannot be trusted at the
betraying my friend. You can't, You can't. Why can't my
friend get over it? Wait a minute. You slept with
her husband and had two kids with him. What you

(01:08:44):
want her to get over?

Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
This?

Speaker 4 (01:08:47):
Child's support got to come out of his money. Why
can't my friend get over it? First of all, it's
such a violation of trust. First of all, she thought,
y'all all was friends. How could you do this?

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
And we best friends?

Speaker 4 (01:09:04):
Man, I'm so glad you loved me, because if you
hated me, what would you do?

Speaker 2 (01:09:09):
Why won't he hear my side of the store?

Speaker 5 (01:09:11):
He heard it?

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
What else you're gonna tell it? Can this fiasco be fixed?
Sureley said it best. No it can't.

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
No, it can't be fixed. Better not see you down
at talk. It ain't no more d I here we go.
We'll whoop your ass at talk.

much in Cleveland. You just yeah, we ain't even had
a game where the refs could have cheated for us.

Even now though, we gotta give it up for Jadon
Dangers Man, for the Washington Commanders.

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
He keep lose to the same team he hurts. That's
three or four in the row. He man the same team.

Speaker 4 (01:12:20):

some speed over that.

many weapons, Travis Kelsey, they got they loaded over on offense.
Man Chris Jones on defense for the Chiefs. They got
everything they need to win three straight Super Bowls. I

some advice Steve on how to get her money back
from her boyfriend. We'll get into that right after this.

so Steve, this one is from Monty and Woodbridge, Monty says,
my girlfriend butt dialed me and I heard her telling
someone how I'm going to be gone Friday and Saturday,

(01:13:44):
so she'll come by. Then she has another phone, so
I don't know who she was talking to. I want
to check the phone instead of asking her about it.
Because she lies all the time. My frat said to
let her do what she does and give up hope
that she'll ever be wife material. Is this sound advice

(01:14:04):
or not? What if she was talking to a female
and was planning to visit her?

Speaker 4 (01:14:10):
Okay, but let me ask you a question, though, bro,
if you you made the statement in this question, you
made the statement that she lies all the time. Now
if you want to marry that, bro, if you can't
trust her, now what your fred brother told you? What
are you saying?

Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
Yeah? And why she got two phone?

Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
What does that usually mean? You got a work phone
and a person's phone.

Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
Well, if you got a work phone, if it's for work,
then it's for work. But if you ain't got no
other job, you just got a regular job.

Speaker 3 (01:14:45):
But what.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
What but you said she lie all the time, all
the time.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
He said, why are you winning your fred brother that said,
she ain't wifey material, man, You.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Ain'tybody gotta keep telling me that.

Speaker 3 (01:15:01):

Speaker 4 (01:15:01):
It's it's some good women out here, man, it's some
good women out here. Man, ride or die, loyal, help,
you want support, you get behind you. Fine, Yeah, you
can find one of them. But be careful though, because
she might not be on Instagram. A lot of them

(01:15:26):
ass faces.

Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
I mean, he ain't. No, they smile, ain't no creases
in their face. They're all beautiful.

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Yeah, I been going, man, you got to look at
the room that they shooting the video in and do
kind of look a little suspect.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
How did you find out they were filtered?

Speaker 7 (01:15:46):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Because I got all my kids know how to do
all that. They tell dad that's a filter.

Speaker 10 (01:15:51):
Oh yeah, so they told you. All right, all right,
we have time for another one, Steve. This is from
Janice and Bentonville. Jenna says, I'm dating a man that
is living with a woman that's supposed to be his
best friend. Her husband died in twenty twenty three, and
she moved in with him This woman is frumpy and
the direct opposite of how I look.

Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
But I don't put anything past a man.

Speaker 10 (01:16:15):
She cooks for him and cleans the house, and he
brags on having the perfect home life. I asked if
she will move out if we get serious, and he
said he could not ask her to leave.

Speaker 1 (01:16:25):
She has nowhere else to go. Do I make him choose?

Speaker 4 (01:16:30):
Ask her question, Yeah, that's what's going to happen. Yeah, yeah,
you can find somewhere to go. If you ain't know me,
where would you go? Her husband died, that's all. Yeah, yeah,
you know he died, and so so what died with him?
The ability to take care of yourself, well, all your family?

Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
What?

Speaker 10 (01:16:49):
It's his best friend, he says, she's his best friend.
I know you don't go for that, you know, men
and women being best friend.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
She's his us friend.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
She cooks, she cleans, she do every.

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
She's frumpy.

Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
Frumpy.

Speaker 10 (01:17:11):
Well, it's like, you know, she's maybe a little overweight.
She doesn't dress well, you know, she dresses you know.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
Like close to lumpy.

Speaker 4 (01:17:22):
What is is that in the same Just because they
rhyme no, okay, it's trumprey rhymee with dumpy.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Yeah, rhyme, Umpty, Humpty Dumpky sat on the wall.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
You know, everything I know about frumpty is all bad,
you know, And then to put their in front of humpty,
make it frumpty that because when you look at it,
you be trying to figure out where's she from?

Speaker 10 (01:17:50):
But there's something. She's got something because she's still there.
They're best friends. She cooks and cleans, he has a
perfect home life.

Speaker 4 (01:17:57):
So he says, well, if y'all gonna move forward, he's
gonna have to choose. That's all I can tell you here,
you're gonna move forward if it ain't going nowhere and
leave it like it is.

Speaker 2 (01:18:08):

been a good day. Thank you guys, Thanks everybody for
listening with me.

Speaker 2 (01:24:42):
Want to appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (01:24:44):
Yeah, Hey, you know something in my clothes remarks, I'm
gonna share with you something I've had to learn. Okay,
you know, I decided last year that I was going
to trust in God's timing, and and in making the
decision to trust in God's timing, what I was doing

(01:25:04):
was I was saying, I know that I have a plan,
and I know I have goals and aspirations, but I
wanted to be done as long as it's in line
with God's will. So I made that a mission in
twenty twenty four, and I was doing really well with
that for a while, but I hit a spot where

(01:25:26):
I really wanted something to happen immediately. Now I want
you to know something that immediately that I wanted it
to happen was back in September. It's almost the end
of January now and it still hasn't happened. But remember, now,

(01:25:47):
I had resigned myself to truck in God's timing. Any
time you wouldtempt to do better or become better, or
become more faithful, there's going to be a test to
see if you really are committed to that. And I

(01:26:07):
got to tell you something. I'm being tested right now.
You may be under the same test. So what I'm
learning and what I'm sharing with you right now is
stay the course. What I've learned about trusting in God's
timing is I've really learned that his timing and my

(01:26:29):
timing ain't ever the same. That's been the tough one
for me because I've set up here and said, you
know what, God, it just seemed to me like it
was going to happen. You come on and make this happen,
because you see me down here and I'm struggling a
bit with this whole thing, and you know what, something

(01:26:49):
just keeps telling me, it's just a test of your faith.
And keep trusting in my timing because when I make
it happen, it's going to be better than the way
you wanted it to happen. But I gotta tell you something, y'all,
it's hard to do that. And then the devil comes
into play, because the devil's mission is to rob you

(01:27:10):
of your destiny. So then here comes the devil. It
ain't meant to be. The answer is no, do something else,
change your plans, give up, lose your faith. He ain't
listening to you, he don't hear you. And that's the

(01:27:30):
devil's job. And the devil wins so many times, man,
because we just get tired of waiting. But if you
stay the course, God has never been too late, as trying,
as testing as this moment is for me. I'm okay.

(01:27:51):
I'm still healthy. I still keep waking up in the morning.
I still got hopes and dreams and aspirations. My blessings
are in a I mean, man, if you write down
everything God has done for you and everything God is
doing for you, it's really overwhelming.

Speaker 3 (01:28:08):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:28:08):
I know the thing you want might not be happening
at the time you want it to happen. And I
know that feeling because it's happening to me now. But
don't you know he coming?

Speaker 3 (01:28:19):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
But the fact that you still have stuff that you're
aiming for, that's a blessing. Man.

Speaker 4 (01:28:26):
Do you know how many people have just given up
lost hope, ain't got nothing. If you can wake up
and still hope, If you can wake up and still
have aspirations, if you can wake up and still want
to make it no matter how it looks, you still
want to get there, that's a blessing, y'all. If you're

(01:28:48):
waking up and you still holding on, that's a blessing, y'all.
If you're waking up and you have managed somehow to
muster the strift to put your clothes on, get out
of bed, and go ahead on anyhow, ye, that's a blessing, y'all.
If you have muscled up the stript to put another
footstep in front of the other one, that's a blessing, y'all.
Don't let the devil fool you. You're doing the things

(01:29:11):
that's necessary to make it. And it might not be
happening for you right now, but that don't mean it
ain't happening. For all you know and have you've learned
in your past, God is in the background making moves
on your behalf now. The reason it ain't happening right
now because God is working some things out. Because when

(01:29:33):
you ask God for something, you gotta remember it.

Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
Ain't just you.

Speaker 4 (01:29:37):
It's a whole lot tied to you. It's people that's
got to be blessed. It's people has got to hear it,
people have got to co sign off on it. It's
people that's gonna benefit from it. And sometimes God holds
us up because God saw things you didn't see. God
heard conversations you didn't hear, and God got to show somebody.
He teaches somebody else a lesson, but he using you

(01:29:59):
to get it done. And the reason he using you
because he know he can trust you, but because he
know you got the strength to endure, because you've shown
it to him time and time again. God only uses
the strong to make demonstrations to the weak. And God
takes you in your weakest moment where you have to
then require on him and depend on him one thousand percent,

(01:30:23):
and then He.

Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
Show up and he show out.

Speaker 4 (01:30:26):
So keep your faith, y'all, no matter how dark or
daunting it might seem, keep your head up and keep
your faith, because I promise you God is working on
your behalf. He is man, He really is and I'm
talking to myself right now because I know He got
to be working on my behalf because it's out of
my hands. And let me tell you something, when the

(01:30:48):
decision that has to be made is out of your
hands and you to turn it over to God, you
can't put it in no better hands than his. Keep
the faith, keep moving on, keep praying, and stay prayerful,
Stay faithful. God got you. Those are my closing remarks today. Hey,
y'all have a good way to talk to God to
day you would absolute.

Speaker 2 (01:31:07):
Here's Frank. I appreciate you saying.

Speaker 3 (01:31:13):
God.
