then they can work it out asa revenue share with the players that come
there. I that was one ofthe points that I literally went, he's

And I thought about this a lot. When those kids don't get a

chance to play because they're freshmen,they're true freshmen. They're going into a
Power five conference, They're going intoone of the elite teams that's building their
program on the second and third yearplayers. When those guys don't get a
play in the first year, aren'tthey all going to bolt anyway and go
somewhere else, take the knowledge theyget at Ohio State or Georgia or Oregon

and maybe not get enough snaps sothey leave. I mean, are we
putting too much emphasis on this knowingthat they're just going to walk in the
current situation and the current way we'reset up for college football. Well,
I think there's that goes a lotof different avenues. It depends And I'm
for and I've said this many times, and most coaches would say the same

thing. It's all about what's bestfor the players, right, And sometimes
the opportunity to leave is the bestthing for the player. Sometimes when the

most part, really good offenses.But yeah, Jacksonville State now nine and

think the Jacksonville State loyal late gamedrives that he led. He didn't play

Aguilars had a good year. Theyfind a way in that mess of that

needed win for chip Kelly agreed,there was a lot of smoke there and
for them to find a way towin thir thirty five twenty two to get

I'm watching it at half, butwhen you win the second half twenty eight

amount of opt outs at WKU wasincredibly high. That means this was a
great win WKU. As you said, down twenty eight to nothing comes back
with caden Velt Camp. And ifpeople don't know, no, Austin Reid,

Warren High School in Bowling Green,Kentucky. His father is the head of
strength and conditioning at WKU for thefootball program. He listen, Paul,

So let's talk about the Frisco Bowl. U TSA thirty five, Marshall

seventeen. UTSA shut out Marshall inthe second half. Marshall didn't even smell
the end zone in the second half. No UTSA. If you watch,
they're down fourteen to nothing and you'rethinking, Okay, this isn't because I'm
all about, not all about,but a lot about trends. Absolutely,
and Marshall had, as we talkedabout, had had some season changes or

coaching changing since the end of theyear because it didn't go as well as
they had hoped this season. Buta thirty five to three run to win
it for the road Runners. Marshallhas lost in six of their last eight
games. The UTSA defense after thatslow start six sacks, six sacks,
nine tackles for loss. UTSA wasgood in the red zone, had more

explosion plays. Marshall struggled in thered zone. They also missed two field
goals, so they lose the kickingbattle. Again. UTSA wins the special
teams phase. They were better inthe red zone on both sides of the

There is there's one at eight o'clocktonight, South Florida and Syracuse play

and tonight the first game for headnew head coach Fran Brown there with

He inherited a one and eleven footballteam. He's a pretty young guy.

favorite. Two six and six teams. I will say the trend again for
UCF is one. Three of theirlast four are Haines King and Rice Plumbley

Really, in my opinion, we'llsee if I'm right. I think it
comes down to who wins the rushinggame in this bowl game. I got
you a game a lot of peopleare looking forward to because they have not
seen James Madison. The Armed Forcesball is at three point thirty on Saturday.
Air Force James Madison. Of course, JMU their first opportunity playing a

bowl game after an amazing season.Yeah, it's great to see him in.
They're a two point favored against anAir Force team that at one point
was eight and oh yeah, andnow they're eight and four. We talk
about trends, but JMU coach KurtSignetti is now the headball coach at Indiana.
It's one of those deals when thesethings happen. Are the players motivated
because of that or are they distractedbecause of that. JMU last game,

at JMU, And if you haven'twatched JMU quarterback Jordan McLoud watched the kid

Michigan averages twenty points a game.On offense, they've had their struggle where
South Alabama is right at thirty two. Eastern Michigan allows twenty four points a
game. Alabama holds people to lessthan that, and they've got a body

both six and six, South Alabama'shas a more favorable in terms of better
competition in my opinion, So Ilike South Aisle. There you go.
The Vegas bull is at seven thirtySaturday, Utah and Northwestern and man,
that could be a really fun gamebecause Northwestern's raad to play some more football.

been a mash unit the entire year. Not just a quarterback with rising,
but the entire team has had thatjust devastated with injuries. They're six and
a half point favorite. It's alow over under at forty one and a
half. Again, Northwestern sitting thereat seven to five. They're guaranteed no
matter what. They had a winningseason after winning I think one football game
and firing their head coach. Greatjob coach Brock. Yeah, and right

before the season started. Yeah,And this is one of the best feel
good stories in college football this yearin my opinion. Kyle Whittingham's defense still
only gives up nineteen a game.That's what's going to keep the score down.
That's gonna make it hard for Northwestern. But Northwestern only gives up twenty
four game. If people didn't payattention, they had one of the better
defenses in the Big Ten and that'swhat kept them in games. But quarterback

play and turnovers will be the key. I still like Utah. What I
like about this game coach and you'llunderstand this because of what you've done your
entire life. When you put Utahup against Northwestern, those have got to
be two of the toughest major collegefootball jobs in the country. Number One,
You've got Utah where you've got playersthat take a year off because of

their religious stuff and things like that, and who wants to go to Utah
and play football? And then yougot Northwestern in Utah is the same way.
You've got to have the grades andthem some to get in there.
I mean, these are two very, very tough football jobs, and they're
both good football teams. So he'snot underestimated anymore. I mean, urban
Meyer said, they're great friends.He was on his staff. He thinks

the world of him. If youdon't remember, urban Meyer said, I
learned the importance of toughness from KyleWhittingham. Kyle Whittingham is outstanding as a
football coach. Should be a fungame to watch ten thirty on Saturday the
Hawaii boll Coastal Carolina and San JoseState, two warm weather teams getting together
in Hawaii. Yeah, so Coastalsitting there. They lose last two games

to Army and JMU quarterback Grayson McCallis gone, so freshman Ethan Vasco looks
like it's going to get the startat quarterback. It's a long way,

Brent Brennan gets to another Bowl afterseven seasons. That's an underestimated job that

can buy them. Okay, therewon't be that many people there, but
fun bowl game always. Bowling Greenin Minnesota two o'clock on Tuesday. One
of the biggest wins Bowling Green's hadfor coach Leffler's staff was when they upset
Minnesota. Yeah, and credit him. They were in a bad place with

personnel and he survived the hot seat. He's sitting there at seven and five.
You know, if they find away to beat Minnesota, who's only
a three and a half point favorite, sitting there at five and seven because
we didn't have enough six win teams. Yeah, Bowling Green getting eight and

Minnesota has lost their last four gamesand have struggled doing so. Minnesota

we know what their struggles have been. This is the opt out Bowl.
I know because I've talked to go. Louisville has lost a lot in the

we know what their struggles have been. This is the opt out Bowl.
I know because I've talked to go. Louisville has lost a lot in the

The Texas Bowl is Wednesday, andthis is two teams that used to

That's correct. They can't win agame in Oklahoma. State's sitting there
