Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you ever miss a phone prank that you wanted
to hear or anything else on the show, please check
out the podcast. You can find it at the jubileshow
dot com. It's time for Nina's What's Trending?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Have you guys seen some of the images from Florida
with Hurricane Debbie coming in Horror streets are flooding, They're
dealing with a lot of stuff right now. But since
that's happened, Walmart has decided to come out and let
everybody know in the country what it is that people
in Florida are stocking up on the most. And I'm
not trying to make fun of this time, because hurricanes suck.
It's terrifying to lose your home or even have the

(00:30):
thread of that. But whatever it is about pop tarts,
it's making people feel better and this is the one
go to item more so than bread and eggs and milk,
which always is pre storm stock up.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
That actually kind of makes sense to me, to be
honest with you. They last forever, they're secure, you know
it's going to be good. They got their own little
individual pouch. You can hand them out pretty well.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I was thinking about that too, because it's like you
don't have to do anything. You can just take it
out of the container and then eat it and it's
still like Emmy and it's comfort food, Like if you're
a little dark, hurricane, can I please have something nice?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
And I don't think I think if they get wet
they stay the same. I don't think they are I
don't think they react.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
To water at all.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Wait, really, I don't know that icing on the top
of water just roll right off the I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
But if you put them in the toaster.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Level.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Side note there, I lost Victoria.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
So we'll keep an eye on Florida and keep updates
coming with Hurricane Debby because that sucks. But there is
side note. A movie on Netflix right now all about
pop tarts. Really Jerry Seinfeld, isn't it. Oh it's called Unfrosted.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I haven't seen it yet, but I I watched it.
It was kind of dumbarts. It's about the creation of
pop tarts.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
It's hard.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It's kind of hard to take seriously because they made
it really funny. But it is kind of interesting and
it's been nominated for Emmy. So if you're interested in
the story of pop jazz for Emmy it's interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah, sometimes it's about the people in the things, not
the things themselves.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
I mean, there was a lot of people in this
movie and I just still am not sure how much
of it was true, but allegedly it is. So that's
pretty anyway. Yeah, the story of the optart moving forward.
Justin Timberlake has pleaded not guilty in this ongoing saga
of his dui.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
So he was on a zoom.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
On Friday and where he appeared in court, and then
also his lawyer is saying that there is no way
that this is going to go through and they're going
to end up dropping all charges because one of the
superior officers didn't sign the initial charging paper.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Bro, how do you forget that part?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I would say nine times out of ten, when people
get out of a dui, it's over something like that.
It's that they waited and they didn't do the blood
alcohol thing right, or that this paperwork didn't get signed
or whatever. And I think it's annoying because drunk driving
is really dangerous and when we let people off on this,
they don't learn the lesson.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, Timberlake still insists that he was not intoxicated when
he was arrested and so we'll see how this ends
up playing out, but as of right now, they're pretty
confident that it will be dismissed, although he's got to
be in court again, so he's on tour right now
in another country. But the judge was like, can you
please make sure that Justin is available to physically be
in court.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
On that day?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
And so his license has been suspended, but it's only
suspended in New York State, so he can drive the outside.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Right.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Wait, if your license is suspended.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
You don't have a federal driver's license, right, So it's
just a state by state technically.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah, yeah, so you could just go to any other
state and be like, I drive here.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Sometimes they're really nice to you about that.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
But anyway, okay, so have you known anybody or are
you somebody that has been named after a character on
a TV show, like one of the not so common ones.
If you are, or you have or you know someone,
there's a chance that could present problems while trying to travel.
There's a story of a woman who was devastated after
her daughter Khalisi passport was rejected because it was named

(03:44):
after the character on the Game of Thrones. Yes, they
said that it was. They believed it was trademarked, and
so they needed a letter from Warner Brothers to be like, Okay,
this is not what it is. It turns out it
was trademarked, but for things not.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
That's not.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Want Can I be craft macaroni and cheese?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
It's still my name, right, so not people's names, So
you're correct in that. So this woman is telling the
story and she's like, if I didn't post about this
on social media, if I did not start telling the story,
I don't think anybody would have resolved the issue.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
So they have.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Since apologized to her.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Her daughter did end up getting a passport, but not
without this big brujaha. So if you are someone or
you know someone with a name like Khalisi, no, you
have rights and you still get to be Khalis with
the passport.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
So weird and talking about customs or tsa person being like,
you can't come through here with that copywritten name. Is
that shirt real? You got a real Marvel Characters is
an official merchandise.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
What are you doing? Dude?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Trying not to get fined is probably what they were doing.
But anyway, that's what's trending. How would you like to
turn five dollars into two thousand dollars?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I would love that me too.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
So if you have any five dollar bills next to you,
look at it, pull it out and see what the
serial number is. Because there are over eight hundred and
tw twenty six million five dollar bills in circulation, but
some of them are worth this two thousand dollars one
and eleven million.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Oh why is it worth more than five dollars? Understand? Currency?
Tell you so.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Currency collectors, if you will, are the ones that are
saying these are worth more because of their serial numbers.
So if you have a serial number like G A
or B, five five C, anything with a G R
B all the same number, with the number a series
of numbers all being the same, then you should take
it to get appraised because these currency collectors find these

(05:34):
more valuable and your five dollars could be two thousand.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Dollars because it's so rare to have a serial number.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's well one and eleven million five dollar bills have that.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
But does that.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Mean that it's going to be more valuable in a
few more years?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Like do I kind of keep it with me to
maybe turn it into four ten thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Wait, I think the key to that is get it appraised,
keep it and go from there. Huh, because then you
have an appraisal of it and then that's good.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
You Look, I'm cashing in today because I got some
back out them by today.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
I've got bills to pay today.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Here's a sitting like, who's got five dollar bills laying around?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
You? Do you?

Speaker 4 (06:07):
I had one and one of my jeans I found the.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Other day I probably had away.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
I did throw it away away, Mike.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I used it to buy water and like that was it?
Five dollars for water? Now?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
So anyway, so now gas station has a two thousand
dollars five dollars bill.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
I'm just saying, if you have five dollars, take a
quick peek, because you could.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Be rich ish atm adjacent. Okay, have you gotten in
your vitamin C today?

Speaker 1 (06:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
We know how important vitamin C is, but now it's
getting even more expensive.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
W Wait, did that be like the emergency? I love
those things.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
You know, we're just talking about citrus specifically, but vitamin
C does come from citrus. So what's happening is the
Department of Agriculture said that the price increase have increased
thirty percent from last year because of a disease knowne is.
I'm gonna pronounce it wrong. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna try.
Huanglong being is what it's called is destroyed is destroying

(07:01):
crops in Florida, Texas and California. Which, if that makes sense,
there's costing growers all this. I mean, we know that
makes sense. Then I hate it when things go up
for no reason. But like if you're like, hey, there's
the supply has been hit, then that makes sense and
there's a reason your sea is sick.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
What are you saying?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Wow, It's just sad to me when you think about trees. Like,
if you're a human and you're sick, you know you
can go ahead and take some their flu and knock
yourself out.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
But when the trees are sick, what are you gonna do?
They need vitamin C? We take vitamin C when we're sick.
What do the trees take?

Speaker 1 (07:35):
I did?

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I don't know? I know ozempic.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Now you can think of why ze Brad, Oh my gosh,
you inject the tree and then the oranges from the
tree will have like ozembic.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Like Please don't eat a fact.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Please don't give monsanto any ideas weight loss orange, no
more injections. Just consume your orange, get your vitamin C
and your ozempic.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
I'm sorry I even thought.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
It may cause death. I'm sorry. I mean that's how I.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Get are important.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
It is important, you know, maybe not that, so that's
why the prices are higher. Now, this is a song
that I never imagined in my entire life would get
a remix, but it has, and it's the alphabet song.
It's still kind of to the melody of Twinkle Twinkle,
but now there's a T shirt that has changed the
melody and it is going viral and some people are

(08:28):
actually following along with this because some children were getting
confused with the lmen O P part L the X,
Y and Z part.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yeah. I used to say LMNOP Wait, what zerio, what
do you mean?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Because we don't realize it's all individual lem right, But
you think that that's.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
You're an adult, Victoria. We're talking about children who aren't
quite you know, understanding of the entire concept of letters.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Okay, it is kind of I get that it's kind
of confusing, but I like saying a lemon o P.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah you too.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
I still love that.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
I'm defending young bread right now.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
But if we all take on this version, you're never
gonna say lem and o P again.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Okay A B C d E f g h I
j k l m N O p q r s
t q v w x y Z. Now I never
will forget how to say the alpha bit.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
I didn't like that. I need the element. I don't
like the element no.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
P q r s t U.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Now I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Can you imagine if you learn it that way and
then hear it our way, and then it would be
like they would hate the element o P.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
It's just like math. They've tayed by the way. I'm producer, Brad,
I'm a dad. I have to deal with new math.
They change the way math is done since I was
a kid. It's a whole different system of mathing. And
I'm like, she's like and this and this and this.
I'm like, I don't know the answers.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Is there a teacher's book anyway? Calculators?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
What it was?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah, sneak that's program.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
All the answers in computer program, that's calculator. And then
take it in and be.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
Like, ah, I never had to do that. Everybody else
knew how to do that, and I couldn't figure it out.
And you know my dad wasn't going to do it.
So lmno, P it is l men. And that's expending
