Time for NINAS was trending. So you've heard the term
pretty privileged before, right?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:03):
I haven't.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yeah, okay, right, a pretty discrimination. Wait, so I think
I've experienced this as well. Okay, people being meaning me
because I'm so incredibly hot?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'm not talking about you, brown. But there is a
swimmer from Paraguay and her name is Luena Alonso. She
just recently announced her retirement from swimming after losing in
the Paris Olympic Games. So she came in six, so
she wasn't able to qualify to move forward. But like
many of the other athletes, they were allowed to stay
in the Olympic village and hang out and eat and
train and all that stuff with everybody else. But she

was told that she had to leave. Why she was
told that she had to leave because she was distracting
the other athletes in a negative, inappropriate way. Well?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Was she? She's beautiful?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Well, okay, okay, a question, hold on, just the devil's
advocate here, because I know I've been in this situation.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
That she said. Okay, wait, you've been into the Olympic village.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
No, I've been in situations where people needed me to
leave because I was too hot, rightously, and so let
him go with it, Devil's advocate here. Is it because
she's attractive? Or is she doing disruptive stuff because she
no longer has any events? Is she like running around like, hey,
let's party and stuff like that. No, she's just beautiful. Sure,
the story is saying that she's just beautiful. She's naturally gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
She's got a very symmetrical face with great features, and
she's just hanging out and she's just there being herself,
according to the story, and people are distracted by her.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Digital producer Gabby just showed me a picture of her,
and I think she should have been kicked out.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Oh, very distracting. Can focus?

Speaker 2 (01:33):
She can't got kicked out? That's pretty wild. Can you
imagine definitely not getting a gold medal? Hey, Luana, why
are you home?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I'm too beautiful? They kicked me out of the Olympic village.
I mean that's a pretty cool slive. I mean, if
that's my kicked out, Yeah, you're not wrong. You're not wrong.
That's what it's going to be. Too gorgeous, So home?
Why didn't you win? I'm too hot for the Olympics.
Are you mad or do you just have an ego? Now,
I'm not sure i'd be like.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Lastly, if you watch House of the Dragon, just know
that it will end with its fourth season. Two more
seasons and we out so good. How many good friends
would you.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Say that you have? Zero? Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Sorry, fast, I know whatever. God's not included on my
list either. It's tip I have amazing work friends. Okay, Well,
I'm glad that they come in categories. However, it's really interesting.
There's a foundation called the American Friendship Project that has
been looking into how many friends the average American has. Now,
this is also coming from a lonely epidemic where many

people are feeling like they're not making new friends or
connecting or any of those things. So exploring those types
of relationships have been really big. But the wild thing
about it is it's just like fifty years ago. So
fifty years ago was the same as right now, people
on averageer saying they have four to five friends, which
is to be expected quality over quantity always.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I don't though, And I think the loneliness thing is
a serious It's a pretty serious thing that's going on
right now, and I think a lot of people say
they have four or five friends, but like three of
them are online.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
That could be true too, and I think that that's man.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I just think this doesn't look good in the future
if we continue down this road. Like, I just want
to encourage people to go out into the world, meet
some people, get to know some people, even if they
don't become good friends, just to interact with other humans
in a way that's like positive because I think it'll
bring really good stuff to you.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I guess just hard. I mean, it can be hard,
very hard.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
The other encouragement I have is like, your friends aren't
gonna be your everything. You're You're not gonna have one
friend that's great for everything. You're gonna have the friend
that's great to party with. You're gonna have the friend
that's great to have advice conversations with. You're gonna have
the other friend that's good to bring to weddings because
they're not chaos, you know what I mean. Like, you're
gonna have friends that like fulfill different boxes in your life.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Try to fill all those boxes and don't expect too
much from those people.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, but if you do have something you'd like to
let up to your chest and you don't feel like
you have anybody to talk to, you can text us

mascot for the United States of America.

He's truly the US ambassador in Paris. He really is.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Okay, so Complex has been reporting that he makes a
five hundred thousand dollars over sixteen days.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
A day day.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Bro, So if you're out here trying to make a
best friend, you might as well make a friend with benefits.
And that's the kind of benefit I'm talking about and.

That money is coming from, like which part of the Olympics,
Oh that you sponsored?

I'm not sure. I know.

I bet you this is a they're taking all the stuff,
like he's getting brand deals, he's getting NBC's paying him,
he's getting the Olympics prior and paying him at all.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
It's probably all the brand deals around, all the NBC's
cow that's crazy, honestly. They I feel like they are
bringing in good amount of like people and I don't.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Know if he has any like products or brands or whatever.
I'm sure he's got like nine of them. They're probably
sales are all lifting as well because he's on the Olympics.
