Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's What's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So the Pepsi Challenge is returning after fifty years, and
I always think this is so interesting because really Pepsi
and Coke are like Kendrick Lamar and Drake, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's like that constant, like, oh my gosh. Better.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
They should do a commercial have Kendrick Lamar as the
person and Kendrick Wong about Pepsi right.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Because nobody can find Drake. We don't know where he.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Is, right exactly. Yeah, that's the difference between the beefs.
So there's no clear winner on Pepsi and Coke.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I mean, everybody has their own personal opinion, but Pepsi
of course, feels really strongly about theirs. So they're taking
this show on the road. So they're doing this whole
challenge where they're going to be starting in New Orleans.
Obviously this week is a good time to do it
because there's a lot of people there. But they're going
to be blind taste testing and they're going to be
doing the Pepsi zero sugar and Coke zero sugar and
then you know, see which one works.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
They say, even those with questionable taste deserve a second chance.
They not like coke. They that would be really fun.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Speaking of the Super Bowl tailgate concert is also happening
this weekend, which is pretty cool because then it's.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
A real pregame. Whatever you guys are doing, get to
the parties early.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
If you're going to your friend's house, get that that
concert on in the background. Start you know, a little
beer pong before it goes. I just I'm seeing how
my weekend is gonna go. But postmone is headlining that Wow. Yeah,
and it's gonna be streamed on YouTube, so you can
have that going on, and the pregame festivity is going
on on the other channels. It's just like everything. There's

(01:29):
all kinds of games you can create when you take
shots twenty one and over of course, And lastly, not
to scare you this morning, but the average brain contains
seven grams of plastic.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Isn't that wild? What all plastic? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Twenty yeah, It's about as much as you'd find in
a plastic disposable spoon.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Ooh, but it's disposable.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
It's just I mean, I don't know about that because
it's still in there. But livers and kidneys also showed
increases in plastic and then yeah, it's just wild to
think about how that like gets into your bloodstream. And
that's when you're drinking like those plastic bottles. I do
it all the time. Like if you buy a plastic
bottle and then you go fill it up and then
you have it sitting for a couple of days, and
you think you're recycling because you're using the same bottle,

(02:15):
But as it sits there, the plastic from the bottle gets.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Into the water. You drink it the plastic bottle. I
believe it was recycling. Oh, it's a bad idea. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
My daughter went on a rant the other day. She said,
I don't know why we keep putting plastic in the ocean.
And she then she did a memoji thing on FaceTime
of a octopus and she started pointing her tentacles at
me and she's like.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Stop using plastic.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
She's like, my tentacles are pointing at you, Dad. And
I was like, I don't even use that much plastic.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Get get out of here, Lefty're climate change a little alarming.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Why is it getting so cold everywhere?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I'm go eat some kale and shut up, I mean,
to your point, they're telling us what this plastic stuff
so much, I'm starting to not believe it. I'm starting
to be like, you just want me to be scared
about anything.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I feel like it's a big warning, high red flag.
I'm waving it telling you that you're eating plastic too much.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Well, listen too much. People miss red flags, they do,
But in this instance, I.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Was watching it crazy that things eat and put in
our body without even knowing.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, but I don't. I didn't know. Plastic from a
water bottle gets into your water. That's not the only
way that you're getting plastic into your system. Well, I
don't plan on eating it. So what do you mean?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Everything you eat, no matter what it is, doesn't even
matter if you did all the right things, is going
to have plastic in it and you're gonna die.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I'm too young to die. No, you're not not.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
According to the plastic haters, they are all dead.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
They didn't say that you were going to die. But
it could cause dementia. Bring it on. I'm looking forward
to that.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
I'm sure that's going to happen to me someday, but
I am excited for it.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
That is not something to be excited about.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Let me tell you he's not going to everybody around
you knows that's the hard thing to watch somebody go through.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I will be, but like we'll have conversations before when
I know it's about to have it and be like, dude,
just laugh at it.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Only it looks like that. That's just strending. Your first
day fall up is coming up right after this. It's
a jewel show. It's also bought to have Better Help.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Can all my therapy trite better help dot com slash
jewel and get on your way to being your best.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
So I'm really glad you put that there. That's perfect spopfu.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yeah,
