Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, now IT'SIGN for Nina's what's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
How does everybody feel this morning? I'd ogret just a
little check in after the game. Okay, before we get
to everybody's thoughts on the halftime show, there is stuff
that we need to talk about. First of all, reminder,
you get free treats Starbucks today. You just need to
use your app and then in the app there's a
little cupon for you to redeem so you can get
a free coffee. Also, last night, it may have just

(00:21):
broken a record for the earliest coach bath. Did you
guys notice that?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, the earliest coach bath. The Eagles dump gatorade on
their super sexy coach with three minutes left to go
in the game. Wow.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Yeah, so it was kind of the first time ever.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
It probably did it.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Also because most people had stopped watching at that point.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, they're like, we got to do this. Well, so
people still see it.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
What colors the gatorade?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
And it was yellow, but they may say most likely.
I think they're actually reviewing it right now to find
out if it is the earliest ever, but three minutes
is still pretty bold. This was also an interesting fact well,
if you didn't already know by the way the Eagles
went last night.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
But one of the.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Philadelphia reporters was talking, was reporting live from New Orleans
and was talking about how the first time ever the
cops greased the light poles, and I guess that's a
common thing that they do in Philadelphia because people climb
all of these light poles all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
And so this guy was really excited.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
He's like, oh my gosh, this is the first time
ever the cops were greasing the poles in New Orleans.
So nobody could climb the poles on Bourbon Street.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
I mean, the Philadelphia fans are nuts, yeah, yeah, yeah, So.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
It was about to get wild.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
In other news, there is a drink that costs fifty
nine dollars and a Caprice solid with crab that costs
one hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
While the game was boring, the food was on fire. Okay,
we're here now. How does everybody feel about Kendrick Lamar's
halftime show.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I thought it was awesome.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
It was amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I guarantee you one person does not feel good about it.
That person's name is Drake. There's no reason that he's
in Australia right now. Yeah, he went to Australia.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Waiting too many memes of him with Angel Wings and
it was just.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
And and you know, everybody was speculating that he wasn't
Kendrick Lamar wasn't going to do that. They not like
us song, or at least not the verse where he
talks directly about Drake.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Because he's being sued because of that.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Because Drake lost the battle so bad he got lawyers involved.
And then Kendrick Lamar say Drake when he said that,
when he because he did the song, he's he teased
it for a second. Then I think we were like, oh,
he's not going to do it. And then of course
he like closed it out basically with this with that song.
And then when he went into the line, he smiled
at the camera like yep, I'm gonna be sued, but whatever,

(02:39):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I'm going for it. Yeah, And then when he.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Was done the big game over, it was like, that's
definitely game over. I feel like it's the only reason
Kendrick Lamar did the Super Bowl halftime show.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
It was just like yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I mean, I'm actually really interested to see what this does.
For Kendrick Lamar on like a mass appeal level. Yeah,
because you know, there's always the after effect of whoever
performs the halftime show, they're you know, streaming sales, you
name it. And with Kendrick Lamar like doing this and
stuff that isn't necessarily always considered mainstream, it is now
and it is such a big part of it now

(03:15):
to see how that rolls out.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
And Uncle Sam Jackson did a whole commentary during the
performance that was kind of bringing people who don't know
who Kendrick is along.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Really, no play one of your your poppy ones, basically like,
don't play that rap rap one, do this other one?
They would do one.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
He's like, yes, this is what the people need.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Yeah, exactly, which is a commentary on a whole different thing.
But it did bring people along. So I think people
will who have never heard of him, never cared about him. Yeah,
white listen to some of those poppier tracks. Pretty And
I didn't realize it, but he had Serena Williams out there.
See it's Drakes ex's girlfriend. Oh I didn't know that
he had.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
So there's the levels and levels and levels.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Poor Drake.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
It was so simple but just so powerful.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Really to go down in history as the most epic
rep beef ending ever.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah, so I hope you all enjoyed it. That's what's trending.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
That was great.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Well.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
That and also they didn't really show Taylor Swift at all.
Oh no, and she got she got booed at the
beginning of the game when they were like, you know,
showing her on the thing. Probably probably there were a
lot of Philadelphia fans and they booed Santa Claus, so.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
They really did.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
There are a lot of in there.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, because the Chiefs were getting booed at the Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
They weren't good. Philadelphia was in the house.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Were they showed up, They definitely did well.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
That's why they greased those polls. They knew Philly was there.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Your first day followup was coming up right after this.
It's the Jubile Show.
