2025 Hurricane Names Announced — Barry, Karen, and More

The World Meteorological Organization has released the official list of storm names for the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season — and some familiar names are making a comeback.

Hurricane season officially begins June 1 and lasts until November 30. A tropical storm earns a name once its sustained winds reach 39 mph — and it becomes a hurricane at 74 mph.

The first five names for the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season are:

• Andrea
• Barry
• Chantal
• Dexter
• Erin

Atlantic hurricane season arrives, which is always kind of devastating.
But the crazy part is that the names have already
been decided. So it's Andrea Barry, Why Barry, Hurricane Barry
coming around the left? Well the funny well, Barry is

actually a hit man on a show on HBO called Barry.

So I kintally feel like I was like, oh, maybe
is that right?

Yeah, I don't know. And then there's Chantal Dexter and.

Aaron Dexter's a wild name for a hurricane. Do you
think about the success of the TV show Dexter?

You don't want it to be called Dexter. I'm not
trying to be in a Dexter hurricane. No, So, but
I don't know how they decide that. Do you sit
in a room and you are like, okay, now we
have to do an alphabetical order and come up with
a name for each one of these letters. Oh, because
it does go in alphabetical order. I just don't know
how they choose the name.

for honoring one.

Both teams got into the middle of the field put
their heads down and had a moment of silence for
a former player because they had quote unquote passed.

And lastly, Disney Plus has launched something new for you
to partake in, and that is the Simpson Stream. The
plan is to be streaming The Simpsons twenty four to seven,
all day long, thirty five seasons. Whenever you turn it on,
there will be an episode of the Simpsons rotation.

You can always do that if you just go to
the Simpsons.

Yeah, but like think about this though, Simpsons is something
that you can dive into in the middle of an
episode and not care. So it's really it's brain rot
from Disney for It's like, just tune in whenever it
is and you're like, okay, cool, put that on the background.
I clean my dish exactly. You don't have to go.
It's just one button instead of you know three.

I love Disney Plus. Well, there you go. Simpsons stream
is waiting for you. My subscription. I saw my bill
the other day.

Apparently last year I forgot when I was drunk, I
ordered Disney Plus and I forgot that I'd got the
yearly subscription, and so the other day that bill came
in and I'm like, Oh, I forgot I did that again.

And then making money and creating what happens when you
do things when you're drunk like.
