need to know for the day with Nina's what's trending.

Okay, So there's a conversation that's trending and it's about
Gracy Abrams.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Her fans are actually divided, and I wanted to bring
it to the table to see what we think about.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I love Gracey Abrams, so and yeah, Gracy Abrams is
super talented and I don't think she's a horrible person.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I don't think that's it at all, but this particular.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
But this particular situation is a little bit I don't know,
maybe in bad taste, you tell me. So she's on tour,
she's got eighty one tour dates, and she's got a
lot of fans that really really love her, that have
spent time to crochet gifts, to make like handmade photo albums,
all these different things. Like as an artist, you receive
gifts from your fans. And there is a photo left

behind from one of her shows in Australia and the
person that was cleaning up the place had found this
big pile of gifts that were given to Gracie.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
She just left them behind to be trashed.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
So that person posted a photo, of course, which has
started this conversation because some of the fans are like, oh, man,
like that hurts. I really wanted to have it that
she left it, And the other people are like, well,
what do you expect her to do with it? I
would rather she just didn't accept any gifts. So then
do that leave them behind to be tracked? You'd have
forgot it. Yeah, you know that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
If you see these pictures. I just saw the picture.
If you see, this is not a forget. I don't
think this is a pile of trash.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
It's it's it's a big pile of stuff. But there
are like hand crocheted like bags. There are like these
monogrammed like photo things. I just think that if somebody
cares enough about you to take the time to give
you a piece of their energy and their soul, like,
appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
And even if you are going to throw it away.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Because I understand it's like a lot of stuff, don't
leave it behind so their hearts are going to be broken.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, throw it away in secret, Yeah, somewhere else.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
I kind of yeah, I kind of agree with that.
It's like a half and half things, like where do
you want them to take it or do with it.
She's a eighty one show, so she gets like, let's
say a hundred things from eighty one shows. That's a
lot of stuff. You gotta find some.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Listen, if you're crocheting a bag that's for a stranger, okay,
that does not know.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Or care about you, what will be will be? The
future of your bag.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Is in the hands of people you don't even know,
you never knew them, They don't love you.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
But that's just a sad about that. But it takes
the excitement and the front out of it.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
If you think about people just not caring about you,
then you don't care, and then nobody cares and we're
all walking around living in black and white.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I would have been a little far bro goodt that.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
It depends what it is, you know. It was like,
if you crochet a scar for something, that's cool. If
you crocheted my own face, that's cooler.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Somebody, I never mind.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Somebody did echo brad steat sentiment though that said that
people that think celebrities want gifts from them are the problem,
not the celebrities.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, I mean, in my opinion, you don't know this person.
This person doesn't know you. You are a ticket number
on a list of tickets to be sold, and that
is the bottom line.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I don't think it's just that.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
I mean she has taking those gifts and like on stage,
like she'll take them like and she'll read them be like,
oh my gosh, this is so cool, and she'll like
she's like thoughtful through that. So she just forgot because
she's on stage.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
But as soon as the cameras are off and she's backstage,
what happens.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Pile of trash.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Just a real quick shout to know her, real quick
shout out to somebody who texted in a little while
ago at four one oh six one before we had
this conversation. Uh huh. But it says jewel, the package
is a portrait of you. I painted it as a
gift for you. There's also a letter inside explaining it all.
I'm excited to see that, just so.

You know, it's awesome.

Time to get back on the Hopefully he didn't get
anything for Brad in there, because.

Doesn't deserve it, you can't appreciate it.

I just looked at the text message board in the
middle of the conversation. I was like, what that's some
way earlier. So it was Waitul talked about this, Well,

Do not through that, do not do not throw that away.

Oh.

The problem is the expectations that people have when they
make something for somebody else, even if that person didn't.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Ask for it.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Oh yeah, crazy Ams can do whatever she wants with
her own stuff.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
You gave it to a turse now.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Right, Maybe she's just bad with her own stuff, you know.

I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I just think you should be appreciating energy that's given
to you in a positive way, because it's a reciprocal relationship. Anyway,
we'll leave. Everybody's getting stressed out. You should return the favor.
Sit down and crochet things for all those people that

suplical relationship.
