Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's. What's trending AI is being used
for good.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We're hearing so many stories about all the negatives, but
now it's being highlighted this holiday season where AI is
actually going to help you in.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
A way that you want them to. Taking over for Santa.
You know, you're not far off, not far off. Oh
the elves are getting laid off. No, yeah, AI's taking
their job again. Not far off, but we'll get there
in just a second.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
First, another little helper door Dash is rolling out their
new delivery robot.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
The funny thing is is you may have heard about
the announcement because they're calling this little robot Dot. It's
this little red robot that like goes around and it's
going to be able to deliver you your food.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Wait, like how far? It goes?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Twenty miles an hour and it'll just show up to
wherever you ordered from and bring your wings to you
at home like a little car, but it drives on
the sidewalk.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Huh. I don't know if I like that.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Well, you and a lot of other people have mixed
feelings about it, because the part that's really trending about
Dot is how many people have already decided that they're
going to break it.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
See it what jump Dot? Yes, they have had.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
It's had so many harsh reactions. They're like gonna kick
it over. They're gonna break it. Nobody wants to receive
their food from Dot. Why are they so mad at all?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I know they're just mad at Dot. Like I don't
know if they think that it's taking jobs or what
it is. Right now, they're only doing it in test markets,
so Dot hasn't taken over yet.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
But Dot's kind of cute. I want to stick up
for Dot if I saw that. It's not Dot's ball.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
But at the same time, DoD's gonna give me my
food in like two hours versus gym down the street
can get it to.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Me in one.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, probably like Uber East drivers like or door Dash
or delivery drivers upset about Dot.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Yeah, do you have to tip Dot? I don't think
you have to tip Dot. You know that they'll do that.
That's not the nice thing to do. But the worst
want to go to is my question. Dot's just happy
today for your food exactly. Dot doesn't care. Dot's just
there with a smile. Actually got read.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Robin when they have the thing on the table and
you do all the ordering for yourself and they still
want to tip. That's pretty much what it's going to be.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Like, Yeah, that's gonna wait. We'll leave until you give
the tip. Oh well, if this is starting to stress
you out, just yank on your ear lobe.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Seriously.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Though, there's a new study and it's actually not just
a study, it's trending on TikTok ear lobe tugging. So
the idea behind ear lobe tugging is that if you're
feeling stressed out, or if you need to rebalance your
nervous system, all you gotta do is yank on your
ear lobe.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Have you used this practice before? Double not the earlob thing.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I do know about it, though, really No, I haven't
really tried to yank on my ear lobe very much
to relieve anxiety. I do to try to pop my ears.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Oh yeah, you do, because you do pull on it sometimes.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
So I was just kiddy, yea, I'm usually trying to
pop my ears because my ears always get plugged up.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
That makes sense.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Jubel is our local expert on nervous system stuff. Yeah,
and reregulating for.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Coming anxiety quickly. I usually do someone with my pinky?
What do you do with your pinky? Let's see, it
sounds bad, it sounds your earlobe tugging.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
But whatever, What if you put pressure on your pinky
for like ninety seconds straight and then like slowly rub
it like in a circular motion, and then getting lighter
and lighter and lighter it fure's your vegas nerve and
calms it down. Oh yeah, there's other things you can
do with your pinky that are just fun, but that's
one that's functional.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Oh no, thank you for that tip.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
And lastly, let's talk about AI and how it's making
your life better. This holiday season, AI kind of is
turning into Santa and the Elves. I mean Santa and
the Elves are still at the North Pole. I don't
know if they have their own little AI friend, but
basically the season, people are really excited to use it
to help them with their shopping. It's going to make
them the best gift giver ever because that helps them
get the perfect gift for the people that they love most.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And they're not true.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
I tried this yesterday because it is my brother's birthday
and I don't know to get them, so I tried
to do it. I tried using AI to do it,
and it gave me crap.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
What did you type in?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
I said, what should I get my little brother who's
turning twenty three years old for his birthday?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
So you didn't give anything, no specifics about your brother.
I'm not going to go deep into my like, Well,
that's how it helps. You have to give the actual profile.
In order to get AI to know what your brother
would want. You have to get AI to go deep
into your brother. Oh that's what I mean. You know,
that's the only way my brother. That's way easier.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
That's not the only way to know your brother.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
That's the only way, right for it, not you it.
You have to let a I into you. That's what
she wanted to know.

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
