Part two, DJ three six He's gonna lay it down.

(06:01):
He's gonna hit you with a little pinch of the
East Coast and a punch of the West Coast. And
uh hey, listen, we did take a little breather because
our one and only DJ three sixty was on a
much needed and well earned vacation to Paris. He must
have really enjoyed himself because if you could see Andre
in this zoom meeting that we have here, He's wearing

(06:24):
a fucking beret on his head. He's got he's got
one of them little like pencil thin mustaches.

Speaker 15 (06:31):
Now with.

Speaker 18 (06:37):
Woil, it looks like, you know, I did think he
was eating the croisson.

Speaker 25 (06:44):
He's got a bunch of crumbs around.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
His lips, looking like Roley fingers up in this beach.

Speaker 25 (06:49):
But we're definitely looking forward to this episode.

Speaker 18 (06:52):
I have no idea really what what the hell we're
gonna play, but I do know that apparently one side
of the East coast one side of the west. So
I'll let the other folks talk about the music. But
it's nice to be back.

Speaker 25 (07:05):
I hope everybody out there's been enjoying themselves, staying out
of trouble and doing just fantastic.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
keV, you've been enjoying yourself. The meth had the hell
of a run.

Speaker 18 (07:14):
The Mets had a fantastic year. They didn't they didn't,
you know, seal the deal. But I cannot be upset
with the outcome of this baseball season. It was fucking enjoyable.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Man. It was down again.

Speaker 25 (07:27):
No, No, they didn't let me down, man. They they
it was all all positives.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I keV was gonna jump off the balcony like that
one direction. Dude.

Speaker 26 (07:35):
Everyone gets it, everyone gets great, everyone gets a trophy.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
No, it was it was great.

Speaker 18 (07:42):
You know, now we got the World Series, Yankees, Dodgers,
MLB got what they wanted, Judge versus Tony.

Speaker 25 (07:47):
I'm excited to watch it. I mean, look, I watched
the World Series. I haven't missed the Work Series.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I'm going back. But you know, football.

Speaker 25 (07:57):
Seasons in full swing, Baseball, worlds, basketball started up again.
I think those people that play.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yan I just wanted to say, you know, I'm glad
you're doing this.

Speaker 26 (08:06):
Guy's liking to be in this closet watching sports for
the next forty six days.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Who won the WNBA?

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Who the nobody gives a shit?

Speaker 19 (08:14):
The New York Storm or whatever they're called.

Speaker 27 (08:16):
That.

Speaker 12 (08:18):
A lot's happened since we've done, you know, a new
show one the and I didn't even realize that the
tribe was inducted into the Rock and.

Speaker 19 (08:27):
Roll Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yes, I didn't even know they.

Speaker 12 (08:29):
I thought they were campaigning again because they got denied
like the last twenty times. But congrats to a tribe
called quest thirty year anniversary of stress thinking of gender.
That is that's kind of crazy because that was It
doesn't feel like thirty years, but nonetheless it is. We've
been putting out a bunch of tip flashback episodes. These

(08:51):
are these are great episodes on the shelf, the cup
would say, but the remastered so the qualities is better.
Some of them are consolidated if their parts one and
two now combine them.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
So we've had the high.

Speaker 12 (09:03):
Road Tribute, we have Atmosphere, we have beat Nuts, Black Thought,
Nods and Jay, we got the Redman interview j Premiere.

Speaker 19 (09:11):
Can I just say this, this is crazy?

Speaker 26 (09:13):
First off, some of these fucking shows combined are like
eleven twelve hours of work.

Speaker 19 (09:19):
What was I thinking? This is insane? How much actual
time these things work. It's just crazy.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Crazy How you do it?

Speaker 19 (09:27):
No, no, no, no, forget it.

Speaker 26 (09:28):
Back then, in the first the first fifty shows, I
don't know what the hell I was on.

Speaker 19 (09:33):
I was on the medos, I was on the pink cocaine.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
I think it was well, you.

Speaker 19 (09:36):
Know, it's crazy.

Speaker 25 (09:37):
You know what's crazy is that you said thirty years
for Stress Extinction Agenda. We actually interviewed Pharaoh much for
the first time on the twenty fourth anniversary of that album,
So that means that was six years ago and we
just put that out.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
We just remastered just as you believe it.

Speaker 25 (09:54):
Look at that, guys, we've been doing this show for
so long, we're fucking doing.

Speaker 19 (09:57):
We masters now wild. It's like my version of the
box set.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
I gotta just play that.

Speaker 25 (10:03):
Like our first fifty episodes were recorded the Duckdown studios,
but you know, Andre stepped up the equipment in the
recording studios. So now we're starting to come out with
that death Row sound, are we Are we.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Coming up on seven year anniversary or eight eight?

Speaker 12 (10:19):
No, they were even remember in the sixth November November sixteen.

Speaker 25 (10:26):
My four oh one k is tripled since we started
this shot.

Speaker 12 (10:30):
Yes, well, I don't really have much to say about
this episode because it's complete surprised to me. This is
one of those episodes where Dre's doing all the work.
Every once in a while, he's got to get the
poison out. I know what I'm talking about. It's a
build up and you gotta gotta let those juices, you know,
sizzle on that tissue.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
And this is Andre's episode.

Speaker 25 (10:52):
Hey, Andre, did you pack your unit on the plane.

Speaker 19 (10:54):
No, no, dude, I just did a carry on if
you can believe it. But you know what gave me
this idea. I'll I'm on the train going from Paris
to the south of France. It's a four hour train ride.

Speaker 26 (11:04):
I'm listening some backup shows from way back when, and
I just said, you know what, I've been waiting to
do an episode like this for a while, So let
me break down the thought process behind the show tonight.
So musically, I wanted this to be focused on the
strength of multiple eras in hip hop. So of course
we always do Golden Era second, but you know, to

(11:25):
bring in a little bit of the eighties stuff too
is important. And I don't mean like run DMC, that's
just a really good mix of late eighties into the nineties.
When I was doing Mix one, I really wanted to
just show how important New York hip hop meant to me.
These aren't necessarily the best tracks of New York, but
I wanted to offer something like where we concentrated on

(11:45):
the theme of, you know, the heart and soul of
New York. So the rappers, the producers, they truly make
you fall in love with the sound, you mix them
in a specific sequence, and I'm sorry, there's no way
that you don't feel this. So it gave me goosebumps.
I know you guys are going to feel the same.
So after finishing Mix one, dubbed The East Side, I
had to do something equally as great for the West Coast,

(12:06):
So I dubbed Mixed two the West Side, and that
features some of Cali's top tier elite you know, the artist.
You might not remember the versions that I play, but
let's not forget. This is like a musical journey. I
want everybody to be surprised, so I don't want to
talk about what's on the show. You guys are gonna
totally love it. So speaking about surprises, there's something going

(12:27):
on during the talk break of this episode. Aside from
the music. You know, we had to bring back a
game show theme. You know, I love the skinny mic,
so I wanted you guys to welcome back some special
guests to host this one. And it's hard getting these dudes.
You know, these dudes are hard to fucking lock down.
Let's just say it's the equivalent of like wrangling all

(12:49):
the Wu Tang members for a studio session.

Speaker 19 (12:52):
So buckle up, Episode one fifty five. Gonna be hot,
gonna be funny, that's the important thing, funny. So waite
let them know about it.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Damn.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
I was thinking that you could just end it right there.

Speaker 19 (13:04):
Oh you want to be irrelevant again and not speak.

Speaker 28 (13:08):
I mean, there's not much else to say after all that,
you know, it's kind of like your lead into the
mix is pretty dead on.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah, thing I want you want to say?

Speaker 28 (13:16):
One thing I really appreciate is how many songs that
are going to be in this first set that we've
never played before.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
And it's getting to the point where that is a task, and.

Speaker 19 (13:25):
That's a task flicit. That was kind of what I
was saying, like what songs can I play?

Speaker 26 (13:29):
Some of course we have played and versions that I've played,
but there are times when it's like I want to
hear something that's not been on the show fourteen times,
you know, And so that was kind of the That
was the idea behind the sequencing as well. You know,
I wanted things that were just a little bit different
or that people remember but have forgotten about.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
So that's kind of what it was all about.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Hey we're ready, let's get Hey, we're fired up Dre
surprised us.

Speaker 12 (13:55):
Before we get into the mix, we definitely have to
say rip shut out the ca he is, you know,
it's crazy. On our last episode that we played, the
new music episode, we actually played a new joint off
the COBU called Borrow with Time and that came out
one ironic a few weeks before he passed away, so

(14:16):
uh RP shout out to him.

Speaker 26 (14:17):
And we also played colin the first episode we ever did,
so he's been with us. Clark Kent almost got you
know on that list too. It's this is scary shit.
You know we're too young for this stuff.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Was that a hoax? That was some bullshit?

Speaker 19 (14:32):
Well now I think he was sick man, it's just sad. Look,
it's it's scary.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
We got to.

Speaker 19 (14:38):
Appreciate the people that are around us. Got to appreciate legends,
Gotta appreciate people in the game. That's it's very very important.
Give those flowers. Don't be afraid to go on someone's
uh social let them know how you feel. I mean,
don't always be a wise ass on on the internet.

Speaker 25 (14:54):
Just be be fucking cool about it. Thanks George, Papa doublas.

Speaker 2 (15:01):

So listen, this is a simple game. It's called hip
hop Headlines it's true or false. Some of these stories

(01:23:35):
are gonna be real, all the stories that I'm gonna
make up, so you guys have to guess whether the
headline is true or completely made up. They're gonna win nothing.
But I'm gonna tell you this, man, your funny ass
voice is gonna make it so entertaining for the listeners

(01:23:56):
they can't stop but laugh.

Speaker 25 (01:24:00):
Hey, Hey, hey, Dreddy Krueger, really quick say, I hope
you can unstick yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:24:05):
I hope you can unstick yourself a head others.

Speaker 3 (01:24:14):
That?

Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
All right, check us out, So don't worry about buzzers.
I got y'all. This is a true or false game.
So it's not about winning first. It's about getting points,
all right. Check it out. Number one method man from
Wu Tang Clan calls nine to one one after losing

(01:24:36):
his wallet at a strip club, Boram calm down. The
police show up to the club and find the stripper
that was giving him a lap dance. She apparently stole
his wallet. Is this true or false?

Speaker 25 (01:25:00):
I'm gonna say it's false.

Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
TB losses false. Jay, what You've got?

Speaker 12 (01:25:05):
I think that's such a crazy a story to make
up that it's so stupid that I'm gonna say true.

Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
All right, Jason says true.

Speaker 28 (01:25:15):
And what you say, I'm gonna say false because I
think that it probably happened, but to a different wrapper.

Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
He looms, motherfucker's heart. So who's the would you make
that up? Were you shifting up sitting on the ship
or you're like, let me can cover how makes this
shoot up? Someone keeps score.

Speaker 25 (01:25:45):
I'll tell you the score of.

Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Wrong.

Speaker 25 (01:25:54):
I'll say I'll say true because Lil Wayne seems like
the type idiot would get a nigh speech.

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
All right, Kevin Law says true. Day, what you say,
I'll say true. True, that's too true. How about you? An?

Speaker 28 (01:26:09):
I'm saying true because I know he's a skateboarder and
that probably happened when he was a teenager.

Speaker 2 (01:26:23):
Is chief the police on a skateboard? Motherfucker? Damn Zero's
across the board?

Speaker 7 (01:26:30):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
Here we go number three, My man Flavor. Flav once
called the cops on his neighbor for stealing his chickens
from the chicken coop.

Speaker 25 (01:26:44):
I'll say that's true.

Speaker 12 (01:26:46):
KeV Law says true. Kay, I'm gonna say that's false.
But every question has to do it to the police.
I know, don't make stereo talks. Motherfucker.

Speaker 5 (01:26:57):
What are we trying to say?

Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Here?

Speaker 28 (01:26:59):
Go ahead there, I'm gonna say false the chickens, that
there's no chickens in New York City.

Speaker 2 (01:27:11):
All right, let's promise it to the West Coast O Man.
Snoop Dogg was mistakenly left on stage and missed the
tour bus and was forced to hitchhike to the next show.
That's shit true, that shit false.

Speaker 25 (01:27:25):
That's false, Snoopy and hitch hiking.

Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
It was like six foot seven and no one's gonna
forget Snoop. I'm gonna say that. I'm gonna say false,
that's too false. What about you?

Speaker 5 (01:27:44):
I'm gonna say in a complete weed stupor, Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:27:59):
Gosh, that's the way to go, worm hard. That's four.
What's the what's the score? I got three? Three points?

Speaker 25 (01:28:06):
JS one and Waite as one.

Speaker 2 (01:28:08):
All right, push your number five, Jay, this is your
favorite dude. DJ Khaled once called nine to one one
after getting lost on a jet ski. What's you'all think.

Speaker 12 (01:28:26):
I'm gonna say, you'll go all right? I got motherfucker
could be on a jet scheme.

Speaker 25 (01:28:30):
I've seen him on a jet ski before, But nobody's
getting lost in a jet ski and calling nine one
one it's false.

Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
Jih says false. What about you?

Speaker 5 (01:28:37):
I'm gonna say true, just because he's such a dumb ass.

Speaker 19 (01:28:49):
Yes, who got lost?

Speaker 3 (01:28:52):
I did?

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
All right, that's enough of this round one. Let's get
let's roll for true and false. These are different types
of scenarios, but like what the fuck moments? All right,
here we go back again. It's still true and false.
Was old dirty Baskett caught up in a welfare fraud
incident where he was collecting welfare assistance despite being a
famous rapper. That's true.

Speaker 25 (01:29:23):
That seems like such an old, dirty bastard thing to do.

Speaker 2 (01:29:28):
I'm gonna say true because his album cover was a
food stamp, so that.

Speaker 5 (01:29:34):
That is the most ODB thing of all time. I'm
going to say one hundred percent trough.

Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
Your motherfucker is so smart on that one. In nineteen
ninety five, ODB or the Wu Tang clan took MTV
camera crews with them to pick up food stamps. Yeah man.
ODB was later charged with welfare fraud ninety seven after
it was revealed that he had been collective welfare benefits small,
earning substantial LITHO from his music career for that motherfucker

(01:29:59):
was taking advantage of the system.

Speaker 5 (01:30:01):
You know what I'm saying, kind of like during the pandemic.

Speaker 12 (01:30:05):
And I just thought, when you do those diet tribes
at the beginning of the show, those law you should
do it in his voice.

Speaker 2 (01:30:12):
Come on, mother's play the game, all right? Next question,
was slick Rick ever deported from the US? I know
y'all heard rumors, but did this actually happen where he
had to leave the country? False? I'm gonna say false.

Speaker 28 (01:30:36):
I think this has where you're going with This has
to do when he was in that incident where he
shot someone.

Speaker 5 (01:30:43):
I'm gonna say false. I bet he tried to leave
the country but couldn't because he.

Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
Yeah, that's right. Slick Rick spent several years dealing with
legal trouble after being convicted of attempted murder and my
man Ricky d served five years in prison. Then, due
to his non citizenship, he was threatening with deportation. After
that long ass battle and support from the hip hop community,
Bigger motherfucker Ricky was allowed to stay in the US,

(01:31:16):
so he was almost but he never was actually deported.
Out of the country after many, many attempts. So he's
to my man, Ricky.

Speaker 12 (01:31:25):
D And if he wasn't a rapper, his ass would
be right back fucking where he came from. That's a
death jam money.

Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
All right. Next question, did Jersey's own Red Man live
in his cousin's house that never had a front door?
Is that true?

Speaker 36 (01:31:52):
Or that fault?

Speaker 12 (01:31:53):
That sounds like a Redman thing? But his cousin's Team one.
Are you implying he lives in teams house?

Speaker 25 (01:32:00):
And I'm gonna say true, keV.

Speaker 2 (01:32:09):
Lossay is true, Let's say false false.

Speaker 5 (01:32:13):
I'm gonna say false because I'm gonna say that was
his house.

Speaker 2 (01:32:30):
That's right.

Speaker 15 (01:32:31):
Worm.

Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
During the nineties MTV cribs, they were shocked to see
that the rapper lived in a rundown house in Staten Island.
It was the ultimate anti wrapp of mansion, complete with
the broken down screen door, cluttered rooms, bare bones, living
red man's sin. It wasn't stage. He was living there
despite his fame. So a man, you get props for

(01:32:52):
fucking keeping it real dollar box.

Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
PERFCTU.

Speaker 25 (01:33:00):
All right, I got six, Wades got five and Jason's
got four.

Speaker 2 (01:33:05):
Damn Wade you're coming up careful, all right, This one's
a little more underground already. Was Big L signed to
a major label deal before his death? Yes?

Speaker 28 (01:33:19):
Or no?

Speaker 25 (01:33:25):
I'm gonna say false. I'm gonna say that there was
a rumor I think that he was going to but
I think it was.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
No, it's false. Where'd you get that information from?

Speaker 25 (01:33:39):
Jason had the ruckus fucking.

Speaker 12 (01:33:43):
So no for him, So he'd never officially signed a
Rocketfeller even though quote unquote that's not really a major label.
That was just a label, an indie label with major
distribution Columbia he was time, but not when he died.
So I want to say no to that.

Speaker 5 (01:34:05):
Wait all right, uh DRETTI repeat the question?

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Please? Was Big L signed to a major label deal
before his death? That his four? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:34:18):
Yes, Yes he was because before his death, Lifestyles of
the Poor and Dangerous came out on Columbia.

Speaker 2 (01:34:29):
Although Big L was an underground legend widely regarded as
the best lyricists of all time, he never had a
major label deal before his untimely death in ninety nine.
His debut album, Lifestyle Is Up, the Poor and Dangerous
was released off Columbia, but his relationship with the label
was troubled, and he remained independent for most of his

(01:34:50):
queer God, first, bitch, we thought he was sick.

Speaker 12 (01:35:01):
He wanted Worm to reward that question to benefit his answer,
But the way he asked the question was specifically, did
he have a major deal before.

Speaker 2 (01:35:12):
He correct at least at paying attention.

Speaker 5 (01:35:15):
That motherfucker got an album out on a major label
before he died.

Speaker 2 (01:35:19):
That dude, right, there's got some crazy drink that he's drinking,
and he's all over the place. I'm just telling you,
all right. Next question, was Tupac originally a cast in

(01:35:39):
the movie Minutes to Society? Yes? Was Tupac cast in
the movie Minister Society? Jason says, yes, true, true, true.
Across the board, damn dn ding ding ding It was

(01:36:00):
cassays Sharipe, the Muslim character in ninety three film Menace
in Society Pop was fired from that movie after get
into a fight. Yo. Man, he wasn't collecting that money,

(01:36:21):
That's all I'm saying. So yeah, you're all right, Scharika,
I remember that motherfucker he was. Did krs One come
from a musical family? Now you all know that kars

(01:36:41):
One was what in like a facility. Right? Was his
mom a singer in James Brown's famous song Say Aloud
I'm Black and I'm Proud? Come on, worm, say it worm?

(01:37:05):
So was karas one mom in that famous song Say
It Loud?

Speaker 25 (01:37:11):
False?

Speaker 2 (01:37:13):
Fall. I'm gonna give Kevin this one another one false.

Speaker 5 (01:37:17):
I'm going false as well.

Speaker 2 (01:37:18):
Three across the board. That's right, worm? What is that
connection James brown iconic song Say It Loud I'm Brocking
I'm PLoud nineteen sixty eight. That little known fact ties

(01:37:41):
one of hip hop's most legendary conscious rappers to a
piece of civil rights musical history. Zero point zero. All right,
here's the next question. Before it became a controversial rapper,

(01:38:04):
was Ice Tea a championship roller skater? Or was Ice
Tea a championship breakdancer?

Speaker 25 (01:38:13):
So this isn't true or false?

Speaker 2 (01:38:14):
This is a or B?

Speaker 27 (01:38:17):
He was a.

Speaker 25 (01:38:19):
He was a breakdanswer?

Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
Really? All right? What's y'all think? I want you to
repeat this? And you say, bring me solo and the
Wookie and the other boys the other voice, y'all bring
me solo in the Wookie pitch? Yes, hut, that's pretty good.

(01:38:43):
So you' all know the question. Let me get the answer.
I got one note. He was a breakdancer.

Speaker 56 (01:38:52):
I'm gonna h I'm gonna say roller skater, high roller.
What do y'all think he actually actually skating?

Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
No, you ain't getting it to his hardcore against the
wrap persona Ice team was a competitive rollerskater in the seventies.
In the eighties he won several championships, far crowd from
that hard edge.

Speaker 25 (01:39:20):
They didn't break dance on the West Coast.

Speaker 5 (01:39:25):
Popping out, Yeah, they popped in.

Speaker 19 (01:39:29):
For allud.

Speaker 25 (01:39:33):
Is eight for for me, It's seven for Wade and
six for JLD.

Speaker 2 (01:39:42):
What movie did Nas turn down a roll in? Was it?

Speaker 25 (01:39:46):
I guess we're I guess we're off the true and false.

Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
That's the same motherfucking c question. Not being stupid? Back
to what movie did Nas turn down a roll in?
Juice or Save the Last Dance?

Speaker 25 (01:40:00):
Save the Last Dance? He's like six when Juice came out?

Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
What the fuck is Saved the Last Dance?

Speaker 5 (01:40:10):
Julia Styles?

Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
That's right, Julia Styles movie. Yeah, girl, why let's see
Juice came out in ninety two. He could have played
made many roles in either of those movies.

Speaker 12 (01:40:23):
Julia Styles movie that doesn't make sense. I'm gonna say, Juice.

Speaker 2 (01:40:28):
Juice one said Juice Kevilo. Would you say again the
mud Shark movie? Twell, continuity, bitch?

Speaker 25 (01:40:40):
What the Julia Styles joint?

Speaker 2 (01:40:46):
Save the last save the last dance? And how about
you here wrong? Well, I don't know to save the last.

Speaker 5 (01:40:52):
Live of the barbecue is ninety one. I'm gonna say,
save the last dance?

Speaker 2 (01:40:56):
All right, here we go, say the least dance, bitch.
Nas was off of that role in two thousand and one,
but he turned it down, even though the film featured
the hip hop soundtrack and deal with urban culture. Nas
was reportedly uninterested in doing a teen romance movie, which

(01:41:16):
might have been an opposit given the more serious image
of This Time. So congratulations all that.

Speaker 5 (01:41:21):
Mother would have ruined his career.

Speaker 12 (01:41:25):
I've never seen the movie. I've seen ten Things I
Hate About You with that broad but now not this.
Frederick Starr was in this movie. That's right, That's right,
That's what I'm saying, Yeah, exactly. Next question, what movie
role did bust the rhymes almost play Blade or a

(01:41:48):
teenage mutant Ninja.

Speaker 19 (01:41:49):
Turtle Ninja Turtle.

Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
I'm not saying Ninja Turtle dances Blade motherfuckers. Snips was
cast as the Vampire s Land superhero, but the producers
consider the bust of Rob for the role. That's right warm,

(01:42:14):
But at the end, Snipes was chosen.

Speaker 5 (01:42:16):
He's a much better fish.

Speaker 2 (01:42:18):
Knips was chosen in the rest of his history. Motherfucker,
gimme the scores. We're we're at.

Speaker 25 (01:42:25):

Speaker 2 (01:42:32):
Is that we're doing? All right? Here we go. We're
working on the song this time around. Did the notorious
b I G have a full blown panic attack when
meeting Michael Jackson.

Speaker 25 (01:42:58):
I'm gonna say false.

Speaker 2 (01:43:00):
You don't like my stories? Kibler Jay what you've got?

Speaker 12 (01:43:11):
I just can't think that dude having a panic attack
because he's starstuck. We're getting canceled.

Speaker 2 (01:43:24):
This is so bad. What do y'all say here?

Speaker 5 (01:43:29):
I'm also saying, no, I see a panic attacks.

Speaker 2 (01:43:37):
Despite his larger than life persona, b I G had
a moment of pure starstruck nervousness when he met Michael Jackson.
During that time together, he was so overwhelmed by Jackson's
presence that had reportedly suffered a panic attack, and he
couldn't believe he was collaborated with his childhood idol Big
wanted that glove?

Speaker 4 (01:43:59):
Is it a right?

Speaker 23 (01:44:00):

We got what I would can call the best of
tip where we typically don't play new music on this show. Right,
it's a ninety centric show, but every once in a
while with do new music, like our previous show.

Speaker 2 (03:04:57):
So what we're doing is over the last this is
or eight years. Yeah, we're in year eight, year eight.

Speaker 12 (03:05:03):
So over the course of eight seasons, we've done maybe
a dozen shows of new music.

Speaker 2 (03:05:09):
So we're gonna play the best of that.

Speaker 12 (03:05:12):
So without giving you too much, it's gonna be kind
of like age best of but of the newer music
we've played on the show, not anything from the nineties,
so thinks you know.

Speaker 63 (03:05:24):
So we're gonna go diving into the best shows that
we've done new music shows on and bring that out.

Speaker 5 (03:05:30):
The best music, correct, the best songs from those shows.

Speaker 12 (03:05:33):
Yes, absolutely, which is gonna be like a little bit
