Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand on ninety seven point
one wash out.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Fresh sheets. That's the reason I'm feeling good before five
this morning. Fresh seats, fresh pillow cases. Huh. The laundry
must have been done, well most of it. There's still
a few loads of to do. But it's the little thing.
Stilly and chilly in the morning, ninety seven point one
wash fn chili back in the saddle. Why are you
feeling good this morning before five o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Because I have some sort of a voice finally after
a week and you know, it's been quite a thing.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yeah, no kidding.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I mean I didn't even have a whisper on Friday,
not even a whisper last week.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Wow, ma'am. I will tell you man, I don't play
when it comes to hell stuff. When it comes to
you have whatever going on, you handle it period in
a sentence. Yes, that is all.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
You know. It's also frustrating is with something with like
laryngitis or if it's viral and it's not from like
over exertion or scream at a concert. Right, Yeah, you
go to doctors and they all like, oh, it's just
got to you know, run Its course, and I'm like,
this is an awfully long course.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
How can we shorten this course? Trust me?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I'm like, Jesus, I gotta make money.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Let's go. Well the whole thing. Here's the thing that
I've learned is that you can't hurry medicine and you
can't hurry doctors and whatnot because they know.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
We don't sometimes though, and I know that I know
what you're getting at, but sometimes I do feel not dismissed,
but almost like, hey, you know what, Sorry you're feeling
this way, but just go home. And but instead of
try what's even causing it?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well, there's that, but there's sometimes there's just nothing more
they can tell you. They just have to wait on
the data to present itself. But I'm very grateful in
this case, the data says you have a voice now
today and you didn't then, Lauren, but call voice, but
a voice Nonetheless, it happens. I mean these things, I
mean medicine. Who knew that's why doctors get paid with

(02:00):
doctors get paid. But you know, sometimes you've got to
make decisions to improve your life, and doctors can help

doesn't matter what age you are, even if you quit
in your sixties or seventies, it's still going to improve
your life. What age did you start and quit?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I started probably at twenty, okay, and I quit maybe
a decade ago.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Oh okay, So it's been a want in that past
decade that you've stopped. Have you noticed big difference?

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, absolutely. You know, your lungs don't burn when you breathe.
It's easier to unless you're kind of out of shape,
and I've been out of shape. Yeah. No, you having
more endurance, you have more longevity, you feel more spry,
and it's because you know it's important having you know,
oxygen in your blood. Yes, if there's any reason I

(03:28):
don't have oxygen in my blood, it's not related to
be smoking anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
No, but it's a big thing if you do end
up quitting.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I know, like Jonathan did, Good morning in Rockville. Jonathan,
you quit. Go ahead.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
I'm so glad I quit smoking life after it's been
a bread pressure. I felt healthier, I've had more stamina.

I was less lazy, and I just overall felt incredible.

Don't you think it's true? Everybody I know that's quit
smoking has said somewhat of the same thing. It's more energy,
you feel more stamina, you feel better. Thank you for
jumping in this morning thoughts. Chilly.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
I'm hoping one of my best friends is listening because
she is desperately trying to quit smoking.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Oh it's not easy. I remember that it was not easy.
If I did not have the help of chantis, I
asked my doctor if it was right for me, I'd
probably still be smoking. But you know what, Hey, there's

producer Taylor Sha has some information for the class.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Yeah, she apparently is one in six people that's lived
with the ghosts.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Come on, well, I.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Don't currently, but I used to.

Speaker 6 (16:00):
I had an apartment in near old Town Gaithersburg, and
we had.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
A little dog.

Speaker 6 (16:05):
She did not growl or bark, and when we moved
to this apartment, she started chasing things out of bedrooms
and into corners and she'd growl and bark at it.
We also had like a motion night light in the
hallway and that thing would go off in the middle
of the night. Nobody walked near it, and the dog

(16:25):
would chase that too. And I still have that night
light in my new house and it never goes off
when no one's there.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
So the night light was functioning properly, but something was
setting it off, like something walking in front of it.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
And don't forget about the dog, yeah, the dogs always don't.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
And then like we would hear weird noises like glass shattering.
It would sound like a glass Christmas ball would shatter.
I heard sliding glass doors open. That was the scary
one because we were on the fourth floor. Heard the
sliding glass door open. We were like, what is going on?
You didn't know it was still closed, but you know
the sounds in your own house.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Oh God, that's bit.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Hold on. I know I'm gonna be dramatic here, but
I would have run so fast I would have never
slept another day in that place. But you and me go,
you don't know that the house was haunted.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Toby, that house was haunted.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
No, you don't know that you don't believe there are
beings that could come and visit you may do.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
You know if the house was built on top of
a graveyard, because then maybe I might be less skeptical.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Well, was a brand new apartment building and we were
the first people to live in that apartment. But the
land is near the railroad tracks in old town Gaithersburg.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
So maybe somebody unlive themselves and is now visiting the support.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Or maybe that just explains the sound of broken glass
at random times because of location. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I mean, I have experienced this, but I'm telling you,
if I experienced what she just described, I would put
that place on the market so fast.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
I'm skeptical. I don't think the house was haunted. I
think this is your imagination.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
I don't know, Toby, it felt very real.

Story on us. If you google.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
Overlea o ve r l ee Overleague Ghost, it comes
up and tells you the story of how I've seen
the ghost. We figured out who it is. She used
to live in the house and the eighteen hundreds and
passed away.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
We know her name, which is Margaret Fabra.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
And we figured this out because I told the stories
of seeing the ghost and one of the residents had
lived there before me. He said, what did she look like?
I said, Shirley Temple. She pulled out a family portrait
and said like that. I said, that's her.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
What other things are happening in your home that Margaret
is doing?

Speaker 5 (23:37):
Like all the time she would go into the bathrooms
down at the pool and make noises when the guards
were trying to lock up, like don't lock me in,
don't lock me in. When we were doing construction one
of the construction workers saw her and never came back
to work again for the company at all.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
It doesn't freak you, guys out, that she's an unsettled spirit.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
She hasn't done anything to scare me. But when you're
walking around the grounds it's like a five acres an
acre compound, you see weird things.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
It does kind of throw you.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
But she's never done anything to hurt me.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
So I figure, I'm okay.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
You work there, and you are there knowing there's a ghost.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Still, she's not gonna bother me.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
I'm not going to bother her, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Greg. Thank you, But you are way more brave than
I am.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Marcian, But does what's on your mind?

Speaker 4 (24:19):
So the house that I live in, I know for
sure is haunted.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
Uhh.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
When I moved in, I had a great Dane and
she would chase things around and look at things. But
I know for sure that it's haunted because one time
my mother was visiting. The three of us were sitting
around in the living room and I look up and
my Dane is reaching up like she's getting a treat,
and then chewing and then actually swallowing, and I watched

(24:45):
it happen a couple of times, and I said, Mom,
take a look at her, and my mom saw. It
happened several times and then it stopped. And then my
mom said, whoever is here, why don't you give she
but another treat? And it happened a few more times.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
How do we know there's not something wrong, washiba neurologically?
What more?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
