Speaker 1 (00:00):
Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand on ninety seven point
one wash at out.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
There is always a reason to feel good before five,
And like we do every weekday, we start the day
with something that feels good before five. Toby and Chilly
in the Morning, ninety seven point one wash at them.
You're invited to tell us what's good in your world
at eight six six ninety two seven forty three sixty one.
Feeling good this morning, Chili? Why are you feeling okay
before five?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
The gifts that I've been purchasing for loved ones are
trickling in, the deliveries are arriving, and I'm, you know, Sully,
but surely getting into the holiday.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Spirit about it. I gotta say it's nice.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
The hard part with what you've got to go through
I remember from when Kylo was much younger is she
was very smart about figuring out where things were hidden
and knowing where to go to find those presents before Christmas.
So I had the hardest time back when she was
much younger hiding stuff from her.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Yeah, well these aren't for my son yet. I wait
closer to Christmas to get him a couple of things.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
And then you throw it in the back of the
car and you bring it to the office so nobody
gets in there checks.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
But you do bring up good point.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
You also have to remember where you put whatever gifts
wherever you put them in the corner or whatever, because
then you're like, oh, where did I hide that stuff?
Speaker 5 (01:15):
So you have a stash spot.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
I do. It's a basement closet. That's like my price closet.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
Yeah, yeah, there you go.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Why are you feeling good?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Well this morning, I'm feeling great because over the last
few days, I've been cleaning out kind of my home
studio space, getting rid of a lot of stuff that's
just kind of piled up paperwork and other things. And
I've found even more gift cards, which means, if I'm
lucky and I used them the right way, this holiday
season could be more than paid for. Oh with gift
(01:48):
cards that have just been sitting there idol, which are
going to start to expire in twenty twenty five, so
I'll he's spending some gift cards on Christmas gifts.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
You see, I wonder what the most like I do
you know what the most popular toy is this year?
I mean I heard maybe Legos or whatever, But I'm
not really sure if that's true.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
I'm thinking it probably isn't a toy. I'm thinking it's
something electronic. I'm hearing that gaming is at the top
of the list that involves video games, but is that
really a toy?
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Speaking of toys.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
What are you hearing about from the little ones who
love the toys in your life? Eight six, six, nine
two seven forty three sixty one is the number where
Toby and Chilly in the Morning call us and tell
us what do you think that toy will be this
holiday season? Is there even one of those toys, you know,
like Cabbage Patch kids back in the day that everybody
had to have. We'll let's sell out. We'll discuss coming
(02:42):
up good Friday morning. The say it's the Friday before
Thanksgiving with Toby and Chilly in the mor chances are
good you might be doing some Christmas shopping as Black
Friday sets In ninety seven point one was CHEFM or
Toby and Chilly in the Morning. Eight six, six, nine
two seven forty three sixty one. The number one toy
AP pairs currently on this one list we're looking at
is the Tesla Optimus Robot. I guess it's sold out.
(03:05):
But then again, there were only a few made and
Kim Kardashian bought one and it was like between twenty
and thirty thousand dollars, So no wonder it's sold out.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
The normal people can't afford that.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
I don't even know.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Are there like those hot toys like back when we
were kids, like the Tickle me elmos or the cabbage patches.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I think if you consider a game, if you consider
a game console or anything video game related gaming that
might be out there, But is.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
That a toy?
Speaker 4 (03:33):
I would consider that a toy.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I just don't know of a specific gaming console thing
that's the hot thing.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Of the year. Thankfully.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
I will say, in all the years that my son
has made a Santa List, nothing has been tough to locate.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
You know what I'm saying. So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Maybe other people know the answer to this more than
I do. Interesting question. Michael, good morning, How are things
in Vienna today? And thanks for jumping in? So what
do you think? What's the toy that ever? But he's
gonna want this Christmas?
Speaker 6 (04:01):
I'm not sure, but I feel think it's got to
be something Disney related, right well, like they seem to be.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Dominating with all the things that've been putting out lately.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Mickey Mouse probably prints a lot of that stuff or
makes a lot of that stuff so they can make
bank over the holidays.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
No, Mickey Mouse makes a lot of that stuff so
that they can print money. Let's go there, you go, Jamie,
Good morning, and thank you for listening today in Kensington.
What's the toy that's gonna sell out this holiday season?
Speaker 6 (04:27):
This holiday season, I think nostalgic toys will be making
a comeback. Like updated versions of classic board games or
revamped retro dolls, I think will all sell out. They
appeal to both kids and adults looking for a bit
of childhood's magic.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
You know that's funny you say that because my son
asked for Twister, of all the games that we could
be playing, I'm like, that's been around for a minute.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
I don't think it'll sell out.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
But okay, you know why that is, don't you?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Okay, what you'd like to get caught up on that
Twister map with somebody of his preferred you know.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
He's eleven, Toby, Well, you know that's.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
How it starts.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
You're just giving away why you like that game.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Twister games lead to other games gotta here, then you
get bottles and spin them.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Out of here.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
So what toy do you think is going to sell
out this holiday season? Eight six, six, nine two seven
forty three sixty one is the number. Talk back microphones
wide open too. If you want to jump in what's
that hot toy? That'll be call us and tell us
what you think. We love hearing from you. And if
you need to get your headspace right, we can help
with your morning mindset. Next time to talk about you
and your head space.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
How are you doing this morning?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Ninety seven point one wash FM, Toby and Chilly in
the morning, and we call this your morning mindset.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Where we share a quote to hopefully, you know, carry
you through the day in case you aren't in a
good head space.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
And maybe it's something you need to hear because well
this weekend you have lots of grocery shopping to do
ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday next week.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Well this is from Unknown.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission.
I mean, think about it, Unknown says, stop asking for permission.
If you want to achieve greatness, who asks for permission
to be great?
Speaker 5 (06:04):
No, you just assume that mantle.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
So if you want to achieve greatness today, in life, whenever,
with whatever you've got going on, you don't need permission,
So stop asking. Just go do it, Unknown says, if
you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission. Keep
that in mind today and if it helped share with
someone who may need to hear it, like you, you'll find it.

about being a victim bless you of a hate crime?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Nothing like sneezing live on the radio. Everybody, that's okay,
We'll get to that coming up. It just minutes as
Toby and Chilly in the Morning continues and I've fired
off yet another sneeze.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Stay with all right, let's get going.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
With some entertainment news this Friday morning before Thanksgiving week
ninety seven point one wash CHEFM with Toby and Chilly
in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
We call it Scholby's Buzz. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
The Illinois Supreme Court verse Jesse Smalllett's conviction of lying
or four lying about being the victim of a hate crime.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Now.
Speaker 3 (07:05):

twenty one of staging the crime and had been sentenced

He'd only served six days.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Sean Didvy Colmes is heading back to court today and
he's hoping to get out on bail, but he's already
been denied bail twice. CBS announced yesterday that country music
star Mickey Geiton will return to host as well as
performed during the National Christmas tree Lighting ceremony That is
going to be taped December sixth and will be broadcast
(07:35):
on CBS December twentieth at eight pm. Remember comedian Tom Green, Well,
he's on the comeback trail. He's got a documentary coming out.
It's a comedy special and also a four part docu
series heading to Amazon Prime Video in January. It will
recount his rise to fame and also his brief marriage
to Drew Barrymore, as well as his fall out of
(07:57):
the Spotlight.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
And finally Wicked.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yes, It opens today AMC theaters, reminding moviegoers to leave
the singing to the stars of the movie. Some fans
have been sharing stories on social media of other people
in the audience singing very loudly along with the movie.
You can wait until next month because a singalong version
of Wicked will be hitting theaters then, and that is
(08:22):
your show.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
Buzz.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Lots of pink and lots of green add to these theaters,
especially when it comes to the concessions where they are
marketing that movie like crazy.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
I mean, it's been coming out for two years.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
People forget. There's a Gladiator too that's out Wait mill,
huh Gladiator?
Speaker 5 (08:37):
What are you is that?
Speaker 2 (08:38):
The one with no no, the one we're talking about
is not the one with Ariana Grande in it. But anyway,
good stuff that's in theaters this weekend with Toby and
Chilly in the morning. It is ninety seven point one
wasch FM where you get the news Top stories at
the top of the hour, right around six hang.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Out Top stories top of the hour.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
President elect Trump didn't we anytime choosing a new nominee
for US Attorney General. He tapped former Florida Attorney General
Pam Bondi for the role. A former Congressman Matt Gates
withdrew his nomination yesterday amid accusations of having sex with
a minor in the past. A DC man facing a
dozen charges related to sexual assaults that were carried out
(09:18):
over the last three years.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Police a thirty three.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Year old Uwana Oubam allegedly carried out multiple assaults between
June of twenty twenty one and earlier this month, often
targeting women who were walking alone late at night. Metro
announced yesterday that officers and cameras are all going to
be monitoring bus bays and bus stops to make sure
that everybody who boards a bus pays. The crackdown will
(09:42):
begin the week after Thanksgiving. Montgomery County Police are going
to be keeping a close eye on the retail hubs
in Silver Spring through the holidays. Leaders say they plan
to pull out all the stops to keep thieves away
from retailers and shoppers safe. A new mural honoring the
legacy of former DC may Marion Barry is going to
be unveiled tomorrow at the Marion Barry Junior Building right
(10:04):
on Fourth Street Northwest. It reportedly recognizes his influence on
the city and according to Pillsbury's Holiday Baking Habits Report,
Kansas bakers are the most passionate raking up over eighteen
hours of baking during the holiday season, and folks in
Virginia are the ones who are most excited to receive
baked goods as gifts. Forecast for today cold and windy,
(10:28):
and yes, there is a chance of a wintry mix
of rain and snow later on highs around forty Right
now thirty three, and Laurel.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I'm going to need you to hold on to my wallet,
specifically my credit cards till after Black Friday. Have you
noticed that these Black Friday sales are starting earlier and
earlier this year for whatever reason. In fact, some are
even going on right now, which brings up a good
question that we could talk about in a few minutes
here at ninety seven point one watch FM. How do
you feel about self gifting on Black Friday? When it
(10:57):
comes to getting something for yourself or maybe a partner?
How do you feel about doing so? Eight six, six, nine, two,
seven forty three sixty one is the number? Are you
planning on doing so? Tell us what you think. You
can also tap the talk back microphone if you want to.
If you're signed into your Heart app, you can use it.
If you don't have our app, get it for free.
Its favorite app store, then create an account. You can use
(11:20):
it to leave us a message and tell us what
you think about this is we get into it. Coming
up in minutes. Black Friday Shopping for you and for others.
Next with Toby and Chilly in the Morning. If you're
looking at me, funny and I wish we had like
cameras on us because number one, it'd just be kind
of cool. I think for people who are listening to
Toby and Chilly in the Morning at ninety seven point
one wash FM to see what actually goes on when
the microphones are on. But I'm kind of leaning into
(11:41):
the microphone because this stool has run over the cable
for my headphones and I can't move and I don't
want to like break the cable. So that's why I
look a little odd.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Okay, that's okay.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
But if you had broken the cable, you could have
taken advantage of some bright Black Friday deals, that's right.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
That way.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
That way you wouldn't have to worry about it.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
And I would.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I felt bad about it. And that's the thing about
Black Friday shopping. Are you one of these people that
believes it's okay to do some self gifting when it
comes to Black Friday eight six six ninety two, seven
forty three sixty one. Looks like seventy percent of people
who plan a shop on Black Friday sit it. They're
looking for some stuff, in this case electronics for themselves.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
Right.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
And then a third of those people who do Black
Friday shopping they hide their purchases from their partner. Now,
you've been married for I don't know how many years, now,
almost fifteen years, have you ever hid anything from your
significant other, from your husband.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
That I purchased for myself.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
No, no, thankfully we don't get involved in each other's spending.
But here's why buying for yourself on Black Friday could
be an issue. If you have loved ones who can't
figure out what to get for you, you're basically removing all
the options by doing it for yourself first.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
So instead of buying a Black Friday deal for.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yourself, you could just send a link to somebody and say,
I wouldn't mind this for Christmas?
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Yeah? True, I mean you can create like your own
wish list.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
You could.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
I mean, teachers do it all the time when it
comes to the things that they need from like Amazon
or even Target and whatnot. And and fortunately, like I'm
in the situation where I'm not like in one of
those relationship type things where I need to run my
expenses in what I'm spending on Black Friday by a
significant other.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
You know what I mean. Yeah, I wouldn't lie.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
To her if she asked, but I don't know that
I really need to check those boxes, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Right, depends on what kind of budget you guys set
aside for the holidays. But to your point, the Black
Friday deals have already started, even though it's not technically
Black Friday. How many things, if any, have you already
purchased or for me?
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (13:39):
I got one thing, but it was it was something
that I could use more more or less for work
as well. But I know that if I trusted it,
like my significant other or my mom or dad or
somebody to get me whatever, they I don't know that
they would get me the right thing.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
I don't know that they would get me what I wanted.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
That's true. That is a risk. That's why you got
to send them the exact And.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
What do you think, Zachlink you have your own list
right now on Amazon me?
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we do.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Alrighty, then, well, good luck Black Friday shoppers. May you
all survive. We're counting on you. Eight six six ninety two,
seven forty three sixty one is the number of ife
you've got thoughts in the meantime you might want to
use that number right now.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Shelby and Chili's nearly impossible question.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Okay, so forty two percent of millennials are now including
this on their resumes?
Speaker 4 (14:26):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Eight six six nine two seven forty three sixty one
is the number? Kylie Minogue Capital One Arena in April
hundred dollars to the DC Holiday Market. If you want
to go call out and answer that question.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Here it is again, forty two percent of millennials now
including this on their resumes.
Speaker 5 (14:42):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Eight six six ninety two, seven forty three sixty one?
That's the number? Call now, get it right, win and
we'll learn something new together. And that's the point of
your nearly impossible question. It is on right now for
this Friday at ninety seven point one wash FM.
Speaker 5 (14:55):
I hope I didn't break those head phones.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Kelby and Chili's nearly impossible question.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Wood Bridge, Ally, good morning and welcome. So here's the
question again, just in case you missed it.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Forty two percent of millennials are now including this on
their resumes.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
What is it a headshot? A picture?
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Do you put the headshot on your resume? You kind
of need to these.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Days, Yes, you do, but I haven't had two for
a while. No.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
That is an excellent guest there, and it's also the
correct answer.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Ali.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Oh, that's wonderful, thank you.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Which means you've got that one hundred dollars to go
to the DC Holiday Market and the tickets to Conning
midel Capital One Arena in April of twenty twenty five.
There yours, all of it, yours now, congrats you be.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I can't wait.
Speaker 5 (15:41):
Thank you, and.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Remember, if you go after a new job, put that
headshot on it because people want to be able to
know who they're hiring, because they won't admit that that's
what they look at, but they do.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
I know, but I do selfies on Facebook, you know, texting.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Yeah, so then it should.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Come I have a resume, I'll do that.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
Then it shouldn't be a problem. I feel you. Well, congratulations,
thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
And enjoyed the show, and enjoy the DC Holiday Market
with ninety seven point one, WASHEFM all right.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
I promise you, I will thank you and.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Hang out because the news Top stories at the top
of the hour. On the way around seven at ninety
seven point one, Wash FM, Toby and Chilly in the morning.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Top stories, top of the hour.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
President elect Trump is picking a replacement for Attorney General
after Matt Gates withdrew his nomination amid sex trafficking allegations yesterday.
Trump has chosen former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for
the position. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest
warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister,
(16:45):
and the head of hamasa's armed wing. The warrants are
in response to alleged crimes against humanity and war crimes.
In Gaza, a seventy year old Sterling woman is being
charged in a heartbreaking case of animal cruelty. Police say
the woman left her home months ago and abandoned three
dogs without food, water, or even human care. Two of
(17:06):
those dogs died. High school football playoff games in Fairfax
County went on as scheduled last night, despite a threat
to boycott by several coaches. The threat was issued after
Hayfield High School was allowed to be part of the
playoff field through a court order. The team was originally
banned from the playoffs over questions about their recruiting. The
Alexandria City Council passed to bill this week that prohibits
(17:29):
any new businesses that plan on selling vaping, hemp, or
nicotine products from operating within one thousand feet of a school.
The nine stores that are already close to schools are
going to be allowed to stay open, and according to
a recent survey of the most popular gift categories include
gift cards and toys. Hottest toy for boys Legos and
Barbie for girls. Forecast today cold and windy. We have
(17:53):
a chance of that rain and snow mixture throughout the day.
Highs around forty. Right now it's thirty four in Chantilly.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Well, Fridays, we like to tell you a story that
brings forth all the fields. Something on a Friday that
feels good getting into the weekend. Well, it seems like
a lot of people are doing a lot of good,
but the reasons are a bit suspect. What are the
reasons people are trying to get a whole lot of
good done? Before the end of the year. We'll tell
you and we'll go into details too. How do you
(18:22):
feel about it right now? Maybe you've got a thought
about doing good deeds at the end of the year
to make up for whatever. Eight six six nine two
seven forty three sixty when it's the number few want
to jump in. Talk back microphone open too. If you're
signed into your iHeart app, you can tap and send
us some message. It's that easy. All you have to
do is just speak and literally it comes to us
(18:42):
in the studio. We'll talk about that next with Toby
and Chilly in the Morning. Here at ninety seven point
one wash FM.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
Hang out Here.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
We are at the end of the year and a
lot of people want to give back to their community
forty three percent of people in fact, you're looking to
do some good deeds. Thoughts about this Toby and Chilly
in the Morning. It's ninety seven point one wash FM
eight nine two seven forty three sixty one. If you
want to call, talk back microphone also works. What do
you think about these good deeds late in the game,
(19:08):
last minute of the year, trying to make up for.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Something, well, hold on making up for something that's different
but doing a good deed I think is always wonderful
if you can with your money or your time, I say,
why not.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Well, the truth is is you can do goods all
year long. But hey, if it's good for you to
do something great for the community late in the year, go.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
Ahead, make it happen.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Jonathan, Good morning in Martin's editions over there near the
DC line on the MO coast side.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
Thanks for listening.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
What do you guys do or what are you planning
on doing to give back to the community this late
in the year.
Speaker 6 (19:46):
Every year our church has a food drive.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
We try to donate as much as we can. You know,
can food, cash, whatever we can do to help.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
And you know, I think that's great. But if you
are going to be donating can food, just make sure
it's not about to expire.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yes, because nothing says give back to the community like
giving the community some expired food that could make them sick.
Thank you for jumping in this morning, Leslie. What's going
on over in Alexandria. How are you looking to give
back to your community this holiday season?
Speaker 6 (20:17):
I mentor young professionals in my field, offering career guidance
and you know, support to help them succeed. It's really
fulfilling to see their growth and know that I contributed
to their journey.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
And if they end up climbing the ladder and going
all the way to the top, they can give you
a hand up there too.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
You'd be changing someone's life. That's good stuff. Forty three
percent of people are looking to do good deeds. So
what good deed would you like to do to feel
good on this Friday? As we get into Thanksgiving week?
Eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one
is the number talkbacks wide open too. We're Toby and
Chilly in the morning. Feel free to call, leave us
some message, jump into the conversation. And speaking of the conversation,
(20:56):
it continues coming up in minutes as we talk about
a family member's Thanksgiving dish that you are not looking
forward to having at all. In fact, some people could say,
you're dreading this dish?
Speaker 5 (21:06):
What is it? Why for bonus points?

We're Toby and Chilly in the morning, it's ninety seven

this year because you guys are eating out. But is
there in the past something that's bugged you about Thanksgiving
then that you haven't been able to stand?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
You know what, I'm one of those fortunate ones, Toby.
I come from a family of people who are amazing cooks,
so everything has always been delicious.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
What about you.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I've never been a big fan of turkey. I don't
remember when the main course when the switch flipped? No,
and I haven't been so was.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
It all dry? Is that why? That factor? You know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
I don't know exactly other than it just there was
something about the taste of turkey that didn't just do
it for me. There was dark meat and white meat,
and I didn't care about that. I was just like, no,
Turkey's gotta go so much so to the point that
I'm dreading the idea of turkey this Thanksgiving, and we're
going on to eat somewhere eight six, six, nine two
seven forty three sixty one Edward and Aldi. Is there
(22:31):
some food you are dreading this Thanksgiving?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
My mother in law, she brings this fish dip is
all I can describe it.

the whole line.

Yeah, that's when I speak up and say I'm allergic
to fish.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Nothing like a little white lye on your Thanksgiving. I
can't do it, non Ray, Kelly and Gaithersburg, what's that
food you're dreading?
Speaker 6 (22:58):
Mash butternut squash because my grandmother makes it every year.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
But it tastes like babyfood and it looks like babyhood
and it's successful, but I gotta make it grandma happy.
Anything mashed, though, you can kind of smear across your
plate and kind of hide the fact you're not eating it.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
Create a concoction.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Good idea there, Chili and thank you for the call there,
Kelly and Gaithersburg to Front Royal Leslie, what's the food
you are dreading this Thanksgiving?
Speaker 6 (23:21):
My grandpa puts jigglets in his gravy and he's so
proud of this gravy every single year, and I just
force myself to eat it.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
But it is the absolute worst. I just absolutely hate it.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Yes, because nothing says delicious like a little bit of liver,
heart and neck.
