(01:06):
something that caused me not to beable to hear some good out of my
left ear at all, to thepoint where I was like, huh ah,
I mean I literally could not hear. And so I went into urgent
care with the advice of my primarycare doctor and had them do their their
magical things that they do irrigation. All of a sudden, I can hear.

(01:26):
I wish that I had one ofthese these things at home, but
apparently it's you know, designed formedical use. But nonetheless, both ears

that really doesn't stop, and Icame across the story about Hello Kitty,

(02:30):
and it turns out that this story'sgot Chili feeling very visceral. This morning
at ninety seven point one was chef. A few days ago, I guess
somebody released an interview with somebody whoworks for the Hello Kitty company, and
it was regarding their upcoming fiftieth anniversary. They said that Hello Kitty is not

(02:51):
actually a cat. It's a littlegirl, Kitty White or whatever her name
means. Now it got some peopletalking on the internet. Mind, childhood
is ruined. Oh it's all giveme a break. It's a cat.
Bah. Well, upon reason andbelief, it's a cat. But according
to the people who created Hello Kittyand who create Hello Kitty stuff, it's

(03:12):
a girl. Why are you gonnawait fifty years? That's a very important
thing to maybe mention the first fewyears that it exists. It's kitty,
it's got ears, it's got whiskers. Don't sit there and try to gaslight
your fans. Gaslight. Bass lightingis sinister. This is you know,

(03:32):
how come nobody fifty years ago askedthis question, Well, you knew all
the time that people were thinking thatit was a cat. Why wait until
now well for us to talk aboutit, which, hey, you win
mission copy, you know, ButI me old little Kitty White or whatever.
I don't know. I didn't playwith little Kitty White, the little
girl that looks like a cat, when I was growing up. But I

(03:53):
can tell you this much. Iknow that people love them some Hello Kitty.
They bring that Hello Kitty truck, you know, on tour and whatnot.
And now that I know, it'sa little girl that could have lived
down the street from me, mypretend friend, Hello Kitty. She has
a twin sister, apparently, thewhole I don't mind the whole family tree
situation, as long as you're admittingthat it's a cat. Well, but

(04:14):
that's fine. And did you knowMiss Piggy's not a pig and Kermit's not
a frog. No, yes,all of these things are nice. Suppose
you're gonna tell me that big birdsa turtle. No, it's just a
human. It's a human oscar.The grouge is a what So now you're

thoughts on this coming up. Staywith Toby and Chilly in the morning on
this Tuesday. I don't know whereTeddy Swims gets all that sould from,
but wow, ninety seven points one. Watch FM Toby and Chili in the
morning. It's six twenty three onthis Tuesday, July twenty third. Breakdancing
and Olympics sport. It's got peoplefeel in some sort of way this morning,
Chili, how do you feel aboutthis new Olympic sport that makes its

(10:15):
official debut after the tests in Argentina. I'm shocked that it's still a thing.
I mean, it was a hugepop culture thing back in the eighties
where breakdancing there was movies, Peoplewere doing it in the streets, kids
were doing at school. I amsurprised that it's relevant enough to be a
sport in the Olympics. I'm notcan't be. There's enough, like very

(10:39):
odd sports in the Olympics that they'vegot that fall into that whole breakdancing class.
I get it, and it's veryathletic, this breakdance. Oh I'm
noting just like kiteboarding or the men'sartistic swimming, but swimming and kiteboarding,
are current things like breaky sports inthe parasitic saying, like people do those

(11:03):
activities. I'm saying that, ohyeah, the breakdancing hasn't been around for
a long time, and of courseit's athletic, just like ballroom dancing might
be athletic. If we're gonna havebreakdancing, we may have other dances in
the Olympics as well. It's justthe relevancy of it that I was like,
huh, I get that. AndI think that while it may not
have been relevant to you or tosome, I think that for people who

(11:24):
were really into that form of dance, they know that that's its own style.
They know that It's like I rememberwhen my daughter was in dance.
She used to she didn't take thebreakdancing class, but they had a class
that was specifically focused on that, and I know that those people are very
competitive, you know, like dancemoms, only more grown up with the

(11:46):
potential to win gold medals. Right. I don't know. It's kind of
a thing, but it's an interestingthing. Thoughts on breakdancing being a Olympic
sport one of the five new Olympicsports in the twenty twenty four games that
stepped off here in just a coupleof days. If you've got some,
share them with the class. Talkpack. Microphone is wide open. If
you're signed in tap speaks send.We look forward to hearing what you have

Thank you for asking. You're aboutto be even better if you win these
tickets. Here comes to question onemore time. By doing this every morning,

(13:16):
you'll burn thirty calories. What doyou think we're talking about making the
bed? Do you make your bedevery morning and get that early morning workout
in? By doing so, thirtycalories gone just to start the day.
There, Kristin and Bristow, itdepends sometimes my husband and dogs still is
the bed? Yes, if they'renot in it. If that's the case,

(13:39):
thirty calories is really not a wholelot, so you could just skip
making the bed, right, It'sright, thirty thirty calories is not worth
the extra thirty minutes worth of sleepat two o'clock in the morning. When
thirty in the morning you know whatI mean? Oh that's a yeah,
exactly, excellent guest there, Kristin, Making the bed is the correct answer.
Get some rest in a made offreshly made bed. You're going to

according to recent survey, people reallylove to score a great deal, and
forty two percent gets so excited abouttheir fines a brag about it to their
friends. Fifty two percent say theironline shopping habit has increased over the past

(15:54):

shopping online every week. Forecast fortoday partly, Sonny, would you have
a chance of some rain later?Highs around ninety right now sixty eight in
springfet Thinking about your favorite shows, would you prefer if the shows that you

(16:15):
stream came out all at once orwould you prefer that they come out weekly?
You know, like make it anevent on a Tuesday night at nine
or something like the old days, well, you know, like back when
HBO had the Sopranos and West Wingand everybody looked forward to those days so
they could talk about the show thenext day. Thoughts, let's get into
this coming up next to Toby andChilly in the Morning continues Don't Toby and

(16:37):
Chilly in the Morning ninety seven pointone wasch FM. There's two types of
people in the world, those wholike to stream things all at once and
those who want to stream things everyweek. Where do you fall? Eight
six, six, nine two, seven forty three sixty one is the number?
Talk back microphone is wide open. This comes up because they did this
whole wide ranging study on streaming habits, and one of the questions it made

(16:59):
me go hmm then I read aboutwas that very question. Would you rather
stream everything all at once, haveevery show put up, every episode put
up, or would you want tohave a weekly event out of it?
Chili thoughts on. Initially, Iwas going to say all at once,
but the reality is I get alot of FOMO when I can't keep up
with the pays of the friends ofmine who are watching a show, and

(17:22):
then we can't really talk about itbecause somebody's two or three episodes ahead.
Whereas if it was every week.In theory, if a new episode aired
every Sunday, then I have achance to watch it Monday or Tuesday,
and then we can kind of stayon the same page, if that makes
sense, right, So kind ofit's a tribal experience thing for you.
Yeah, I feel like, likelike having it all at once gives somebody

(17:42):
the opportunity to jump ahead, whichthen bumps you out of the tribal space
and also potential for spoilers on thesocial network. What about you, I'm
a you know what, I'm abeliever that if I'm paying for something,
I want it all now. Providedit's not like a show like South Park
or or The Simpsons where they takelike current events and they work them into

(18:02):
that week's episode because they can.But most shows I think are already in
the can, right, They're alreadydone. They're just doling it out as
they please. Not all of them. Well, I don't know. I
can't say that. I don't reallyproduce these shows for Netflix and stuff,
but I know that there are some, like with Disney Plus they're they're religious
about the weekly thing, right, and they don't just put them all up

(18:23):
at once and I get very frustratedthat they don't until the end of the
season. Netflix does the same thingselectively with certain things. I don't know.
I still come back to the factthat if you've got it done,
give it to me. Let medecide my own pace while I watch it,
when I want to watch it,et cetera, et cetera. I
don't know. Lots of different takeson it. Maybe you've got something to

(18:45):
say eight six six wash FM thenumber one eight sixty six nine two seven
forty three sixty one. Do youwant all of your shows weekly or do
you want your shows all at once? There is no right or wrong answer.
There's just the answers. We wantto hear where you have to stand,

Good morning, Her, Good morning, So your story is crazy.
We're listening. Tell us all aboutit. Oh, a few years ago,
I was on a dating map andI started talking to a guy and
I'd ask him if he was married, if he had children, if that
was something he ever first saw inhis future. We were getting to know

(19:52):
each other. We spoke for aboutthirty days online and decided that we were
going to meet, so I gavehim my phone number. We exchanged on
We decided to meet at a publicplace, so we met at some all
food court. He told me hehad no children and that he had never
been married before. We're sitting atthe food court having a nice little conversation,
getting to know each other better, and a woman walks out yelling at

(20:14):
me and wanted to know who Iwas. In the process, I figured
out that she was his wife. She had six children with her. Who
wanted to know what baby mama Iwash and if I wasn't one of the
baby mamas was going to be thenext baby mama. So me, let's
just say we've never spoke again. So this guy had six children from six
different women, or from this wifethat he was with at that time,

(20:38):
I'm not sure. His wife saidshe had zero children with him, but
he had six children with six differentwomen. Oh, so he's very fruitful
and multiplied. Exactly what does yourdate do or say? He tried to
deny it, but you could seethe mark on his finger, which I
didn't think a lot of because itdidn't like it was more of a very
saint pandline, So I didn't thinka whole lot of it. But yeah,

(21:00):
that was definitely his wife. AndMichelle, did you ever find out
if that was a pure coincidence thatthe wife happened to be shopping at the
mall or near the food court ordid she follow him there? How did
she end up there? Well, apparently she saw his text messages and she
followed him there. The plot,he knew, what the egs? What
a little crazy and all of asudden, it's your fall right exactly.

(21:23):
Well, it's obvious now why youwouldn't want to go out with this guy
again. But I am so curious. Is there any way for you to
find out or did you find outif those two even stayed together? I
have no clue. I hope forher sake she was smart enough to leave
them, But if she stayed withthem through a six different baby mamas,
I doubt it. Well, youpulled the crazy straw, that's for sure.
Congratulations, That means you've won.Oh yay, thank you. You're

(21:45):
gonna go see Usher Capitol wat ArenaAugust twentieth, thanks to our friends at
Live Nation. And hopefully you foundsomeone else you can take. Yeah,
