Please tell me, when I made.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
You say you got to start right away, that you
did start finally packing stuff.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Well, Chili, the box has only first arrived late Wednesday
night from Amazon that I had ordered. So yesterday went
home after the show and I dedicated three hours to
packing good And I won't say I've made the progress
that I was hoping you thought it, But I've done
a little bit in each room.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Okay, got boxes have been filled.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
That's great news.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Now, my partner, Kyle was gone yesterday, so I do
feel like I get a lot more. He was at
work all day, so I do feel like I can
get more done when he's not around. But he has
told me that he thinks if we spend all day tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
We will be fine.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Okay, Well, we're gonna have to you're gonna have to. But
I'm opposite. I need to have my husband, don oh,

a big move coming up this weekend, we'll get you

Speaker 3 (01:40):

Celsius Energy Drinks. A federal indictment alleges at Lebron James's
injury information was leaked to Better's. FBI director Cash Betel
announced charges in a gambling scheme involving NBA players and coaches,
including Terry Rozier and Damon Jones Well. The White House
(02:03):
has warned that the ongoing government shut down could disrupt
holiday travel. Spokesperson Caroline Levitt pointed to airport delays and
FAA staffing shortages. Alaska Airlines grounded all of its planes yesterday,
all because of an IT outage. The airline called it
a temporary ground stop and is advising passengers to check
(02:25):
their flight status before they travel. Fairfax County Police have
released body cam footage that shows a police cruiser running
over a sixty two year old woman who had been
lying in the roadway after a hit and run in
Highbla Valley on September twenty third. She had been struck
by a black Mercedes before officers arrived, and the officer
(02:48):
involved in that is now on restricted duty while the
investigation is ongoing. A thirty five year old man is

violated his right to protest. DC officials are urging Pepco
to improve communication with customers in Northwest neighborhoods were affected
by recent power outages. During an oversight hearing, the utility
was criticized for delays and outage alerts and for relying
on door to door notifications and Americans are spending more
(03:31):
time than ever stuck in traffic. According to a recent report,
we are all losing an average of sixty three hours
a year behind the wheel. Forecast for today partly sunny.
High's around sixty right now, thirty eight in Chevy Chase.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
All right, thanks Chili coming up next and inspirational quote
to get us all going on this Friday morning and
get us in the right head space as we head
into the weekend together. Chili's going to read our morning
mindset next, more greate eighties songs like that coming up
on our Best of the Eighties weekend starting today at
five o'clock with ninety seven point one Wash FM. It's
Toby and Chilly in the Morning. I'm kiddoshe it is
(04:10):
time now for our morning mindset, And.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Because it's Friday and it is our Best at the
Eighties weekend, I'd like to choose a song from the
eighties to inspire us all. And Sweet Dreams is a
song by the Eurythmics, and in that song, she says,
I travel the world and the seven seas. Everybody is
looking for something, no matter who you are or where
you come from. This reminds us that everybody's on their
(04:34):
own journey they're searching for something that matters to them,
whether it's happiness, success, love, or purpose. You're not alone
and wanting more or striving for your goals. So let's
remember that and ask ourselves what are we searching for?
Sweet dreams and eurhythmic say, I travel the world and
the seven seas. Everybody is looking for something. And you
(04:55):
can find that quote if you follow us on Insie
Graham WASHFM or on our Facebook page.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
We post it every day. So thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I love that you can share it with somebody that
may need that quote as well. On this Friday morning.
All right, coming up next, the way the Commanders play
football may be changing because of AI. Will tell you
about that next. Toby and Tilly in the Morning, ninety
seven point one wash FM. I'm kiddoshe Friday morning in DC.
Is AI the worst thing that could happen to the
(05:26):
game of football?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Well, I don't know. Do you want accuracy? Because if
you say yes, maybe it won't be so bad. The
reason we're talking about is because Roger Goodell, who is
the commissioner for the NFL, he recently got together and
is talking about how AI could assist with officiating because
as technology improves, you know, with all the camera angles available,
(05:48):
we could have more computer involvement and rely less on
human referees who.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Have an almost impossible job.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
If you think about it, of keeping an eye on
twenty two giant men right for every single play. And
so that's why Goodell is like, Okay, how can we
get more calls right?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Well, you only hate a bad call when it's against
your team, That's true. So otherwise you get away with
something You're like, hey, okay, well it looks like it was.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
Maybe we're both football fans, right. What is your thought
when you hear that this could be happening.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I think it's a terrible idea because the game has
already been so slowed down by stopping every five seconds
for something. I feel like the computer will, the ai'll
be going off every okay, one second saying so we're
not going to get the game done.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Okay, So you want to keep relying on those human eyes.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Yes, championships have been won and lost because of human error.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
And I don't trust every res I feel like there's
some biases and some favoritism going on. I think technology,
if it's going to get it right and go down
to a technicality and that wasn't a first down or
wasn't a touchdown?
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Then bring it on, Robot.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I think we have a debate going here and we'd
love for you to join that debate. So open up
the iHeartRadio app right now. Make sure you're listening to
ninety seven point one WASHFM. You're going to see a
red microphone. How do you feel about this? Is this

with a guy that I perceived to be uh, you know,
very Uh, what's the word I'm looking for gentlemen.

So in Montgomery County there's a new center that opened
up to help federal workers who many have suddenly found
themselves out of a job. And since it has opened
on October ninth, that hasn't been that long. Over two
hundred people have come by Mobilize Montgomery Federal Workforce Center.
It's in Wheaton, and they're looking for support and a
(17:03):
way forward. What makes this a really special place is
that a lot of the staff have been in the
very same shoes. They were federal government workers. They worked
in federal jobs, they faced the same struggles. They're there
to guide former federal employees through some tough times, helping
with everything from updating your resume to exploring new career paths,
all with understanding and care and county leaders know how
(17:26):
hard losing a federal job can be, especially after years
of service, and they're determined to help people get back
on their feet. So this center in Wheaton shows just
how powerful community support can be when life throws those
unexpected curve balls your way. If you want more information
those who are affected by the federal government shutdown can
visit the Mobilized Montgomery website, or we'll also have a

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Is this a song that you used when you had
your baby?
Speaker 2 (24:53):
It is? Yes?
Speaker 4 (24:54):
And what was that?
Speaker 8 (24:55):
Okay, so my husband and I are a little unorthodox.
The song we I went with was Closing Time by Semisonic.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
Interesting, explained, I love that song.
Speaker 8 (25:06):
Okay, Well, you know, Dan Wilson wrote the song. It's
not really about a bar closing It was a metaphor
about his daughter being born, and I love that story,
and so we just incorporated that into our birth.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
It was wonderful.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
I did not know that until just now, and I've
listened to that song a million times, mainly in bars
when they're closing a nice story.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
That is wonderful, Anita.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
I love that you just taught us something and maybe
even inspired a mom to.
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Be to play that song when she goes into labor.
