It's crazy to think that in just four days it's
going to be Halloween this Friday, Tricker treaters are going

(03:33):
Morning continues on ninety seven point one wash fm hi's
Chili amar with Toby and Chilly in the Morning on
ninety seven point one wash FM and trying to get
you into a better morning mindset now with a quote,
and this one is by Steve Jobs who said that
if you are working on something that you really care about.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
You don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you you.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
This really highlights the power of passion and purpose in
driving motivation. So when you deeply care about what you
are doing, your work stops feeling like it's an obligation
and it really becomes something you're naturally drawn to. So
instead of needing these external pressures or constant reminders to
(04:21):
stay focused, your own enthusiasm and vision for the future
will guide and inspire you. So please keep that in
mind today and pretty much every day. When Steve Jobs said,
if you are working on something that you really care about,
you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you. Now,
(04:42):
you can always find that quote. We do post it
on the Instagram page for WASHFM as well as our
Facebook page. Now coming up next, we want to keep
the good vibes going. Why are you feeling good today?
Give us a call and let us know. Eight sixty

(05:48):
feeling good? Has to be the cold air finally coming in,
turning to fall, starting to not feel like summer anymore.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
It's a good feeling.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, you can say that again. It's definitely not feeling
like summer anymore. Becca, Thanks so much for sharing that.
I do say that my fall wardrobe is a lot
nicer than my summer wardrobe, so for that reason, E
I'm cool with this weather in Arlington, Pat, what are
you adding to this a good news list?
Speaker 6 (06:19):
So my good news is recently moved to a new
neighborhood and it didn't really know anybody, but I was
able to make a few really good friends, So that's positive.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
That is awesome, Pat, I really love to hear that,
because one of the reasons we moved into the cul
de Sac that we live in right now is because
when I was scoping out the neighborhood, I noticed that
there were a lot of neighbors out and about and
they all seem to be friends with each other. So
that definitely, I think helps boost your spirits when you've
(06:50):
got great neighbors.

Toby and Chile in the Morning on ninety seven point one,
was che Ff, Well, the playlist a part of your
birthing plan. Hi, it's Tobyan Chilly in the morning at
ninety seven point one Wash FM. I'm Chilli Amar, And
if you want to jump into the conversation, you can
always call eight sixty six wash FM one or leave
us a talkback on that microphone with your iHeartRadio app.
(10:14):
I'm asking because my son celebrated his twelfth birthday over
the weekend and on Friday we were sharing the top
songs that moms listened to when they are in labor.
Number one was the Beatles Here Comes the Sun. And
I had said that even though I work in radio,
there was no music.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
So if you actually had.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
One, I would love to know what that was. Thanks
for listening in Springfield, Carla. What it was your birthing playlist?
Speaker 7 (10:41):
I actually had two playlists. I had found a lullaby
covers playlist of all these you know, top songs, so
I had a mishmash of lullaby covers, so like the
Factory Boys, Bon Jovie, the Beatles. It was so relaxing.
I did that while I was in labor, and then
when I actually was starting to deliver, when we went
over to my delivery playlist, it did have push by
Salt and Peppa should have under Pressure by you know,
(11:04):
Queen David Bowie.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
How much did that help you during the process?
Speaker 8 (11:08):
Oh so much.
Speaker 7 (11:09):
I mean, like the lullaby covers, Like I said, those
were such relaxing songs, and since feed like actual birthing
playlist had all those songs that were more upbeat and
more like ty in cheek and everything, that kind of
helped really get me psyched. And on top of that,
I had like tea lights, and I had pictures of
my husband and I around the room, and the lights
were dimmed for the most part. So all of that
together contributed so much mentally to the experience as well.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
I'm so happy, Carla that you had a great birthing experience.
Thanks so much for calling and sharing your story. Have
a wonderful day.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Thank you so much you.
