And quite honestly, we've got animals that eat those things

The downside is they get gross and moldy. And yeah,
there's a way to have you have those out there

Apply a very thin layer of vasoline or petroleum jelly

then just don't put them in the direct sunlight either,

I mean, look, it's really tough during this government shut down,
a lot of folks out of work. But there's a
thirty one year old IRS tax attorney. His name is
Isaac Stein, and he's using this time to turn a
childhood dream into reality. He said that he's launched this
hot dog stand called Shister's Dogs Love It and it's
located near First in M Streets in Northeast d C.

And he is selling mustard and sauerkraut hot dogs paired
with an RC cola because he says that's the best pairing.

Love It for ten bucks.

Now he knew what he felt like this shutdown was
about to happen. He started the whole permitting process so
before it even happened. And then he officially launched this
hot dog stand October eighth, and he says every day
he dresses in a sharp suit, just like he as
an attorney, and he pushes the cart from a nearby
commercial kitchen to his lunchtime spot and.

People are lining up, sometimes.

Twenty five people deep, waiting for a taste of his
very unique style hot dogs, and they're trying to support
him during the shutdown. He's living out his childhood dream.
He's you know, he says, a lot of people he's
getting to meet them. And he's also when the government reopens,
he's going to continue doing this on weekends because he's

loving it so much. So again, he's making us feel
good because he's making lemonade out of lemons, so to speak.

I am a parent, so my mindset is a little
bit different than yours, and I'm owning up to.

The fact that I may be a little extra.

Okay, So in addition to having your traditional candy, which
is like chocolate bars, I also have just candy because
not every kid likes chocolate. But then a couple of
years ago, I added another level, which was little fidgets
or little toys, because there are food allergies and I

don't want those kids to be deprived. So if a
kid like that comes to the door, then I give
them a little fidget and By the way, it's not
a huge investment. You can go the Dollar Tree and
buy little toys or whatever for them and just put
those in their bag.

That's three bowls. That's the whole whole toy store you
got in your front yard.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
It sounds like I kind of yeah.

But it's not.

It's not that, and it makes it just brings me joy,
right that everybody can be included.

thirty one year old IRS tax attorney. His name is
Isaac Stein, and he's using this time to turn a
childhood dream into reality. He said that he's launched this
hot dog stand called Shister's Dogs Love It and it's
located near First in M Streets in Northeast d C.

And he is selling mustard and sauerkraut hot dogs paired
with an RC cola because he says that's the best pairing.

Now he knew what he felt like this shutdown was
about to happen. He started the whole permitting process so
before it even happened. And then he officially launched this
hot dog stand October eighth, and he says every day

commercial kitchen to his lunchtime spot and.

or little toys, because there are food allergies and I

don't want those kids to be deprived. So if a
kid like that comes to the door, then I give
them a little fidget and By the way, it's not
a huge investment. You can go the Dollar Tree and
buy little toys or whatever for them and just put
those in their bag.

That's three bowls. That's the whole whole toy store you
got in your front yard.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
It sounds like I kind of yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
But it's not.

It's not that, and it makes it just brings me joy,
right that everybody can be included.

Now do you think you did say you're a little
extra with this, But do you think there's people that
this isn't You're not the only person has three bowls out?

And actually there are people that even invest in getting
like a teal pumpkin, because back in twenty thirteen, this
whole thing started where if there's a teal pumpkin on

The government shutdown will continue through the weekend and with
no resolution inside. Millions of low income Americans are sent
to be impacted because SNAP food benefits for about forty
two million people are set to expire tomorrow now. Because
of that, Maryland has declared a state of emergency and
they've got about six hundred and eighty thousand residents that
are impacted by those SNAP funds. So Governor Wes Moore
(21:29):
pledged ten million dollars in state aid to support food banks. Meanwhile,
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser said local residents will continue receiving
those SNAP benefits next month, and that's backed by thirty
million dollars in contingency funds for both SNAP and WIC programs.
A forty four year old man from Tacoma Park was
arrested for allegedly disguising himself as a woman to enter
(21:51):
women's locker rooms and multiple gyms in the DC area
and then secretly filming the women while they were showering.
Police confirmed at least four incidents at several facilities at
date back to July of twenty twenty four, The Washington
Nationals took an unexpected turn in their managerial search. They
reportedly are set to hire thirty three year old Blake

Butterra as their new manager. He has spent the past
two years as the Tampa Bay Rays senior director of
player Development, and according to a recent poll, most Americans
dislike changing the clocks twice the year. Only twelve percent
support the current system. Now, if you were given a choice, okay,

fifty six percent say they would prefer permanent daylight saving
for brighter evenings and forty two percent favorite permanent standard
for lighter mornings. Forecast for today partly cloudy, windy, highs

front of our logo here and first, second, and third
place gets money. I mean there's a pretty decent amount
of money there for a prize.

So I decided to double dip this year.

Well, now explain your strategy here, Chili. It sounds like
you are determined to win this contest.

So I thankfully you agreed that I wanted to do
a teammate costume with you, and so I made our
costumes for you and I I made myself to be
a social butterfly butterfly wings, and I have social media
logos all over my body. And you are the introvert,
