Toby and Chilly in the morning. It's ninety seven point
one wash FM. Why eight six six nineteen seven forty

and tell us why you're all up in the good
feels this early morning, Chilly, Why are you feeling good
other than the fact that it's uh the end of
the work week.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I know that's a great reason. I don't have any
appointments after work today. Really, yes, which frees up time
to take a god willing, long, luxurious nap.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Aymen.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yes, that's what I'm talking about, and then that way
I'll have enough energy to stay up and watch the
Caps tonight. Yes, Game one, Round two. Yeah, yeah, it's
the beginning of round two. Because usually I get petered
out right because your body doesn't know if it's Friday, Saturday.
It's like, okay, hello, it's like nine something, aren't you
(00:57):
Why aren't you asleep?
Speaker 1 (00:58):
That's the worst. It's like you think you're fine, you
think you're gonna be okay, and then you just crash. Exactly.
I'm feeling good this morning because you see.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
This, Yeah, a banana?
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Ooh, look at it. You see the color. It's blue,
I mean blue, it's it's it's perfect yellow. I don't
know why I said it's blue blue.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
No, it's the perfect ripeness. Yes, yeah, it's it's it's perfect.
My banana scam guy had the bananas ready. They were
right there at the front. Three for a dollar. Yep,
there you go here, that one's for you. Yes, because
I have two more.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
An it's a nice size. So I'm there.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
And that's a little small ones that sometimes we get
these small bananas. No, that was a wind this morning.
I walk in and I'm like, let's see, oh, look
new new. I don't know why he said it's blue,
other than Friday exactly. It's the end of the week.
We're tired, but we're tebe and chilly in the morning.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Well, in order to get you into a better mindset,
we now have a quote to share with you for
you to think about the rest of the day.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
And since Sabrina's got your Best of the eighties Weekend
kicking off a little bit later on today, right around

the eighties weekend. This from Queen. We are the champions
of my friends. What does that mean to us? It
means that victory belongs to those who endure. We are
(05:01):
the champions my friends, It's Queen. Victory belongs to those
who endure. Keep that in mind today and endure through
your Friday. You'll make it till the end of the
day and then you can just unwind your time the weekend,
and that is your morning mindset. If it helps, share
it with someone whom I needed to find it on

email to myself for Chili, we'd be happy to share
it with you, because, you know what, every little bit
counts on a Friday. Now, coming up with Toby and
Chili in the morning.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
So match game. Remember that game show it's getting rebooted
with Martin Short as the host, which begs the question, Okay,
what game show do you think you would actually do
well in?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
That is very interesting that you would ask that. So
we'll have a conversation about it this morning. If you
want to jump in eight sixty six nine two seven
forty three sixty one, or tap that talkback microphone on
your iHeart app where you've got us is pre set
number one, Tap speak send. If you're signed in, you'll
see the microphone tell us your thoughts and we'll get
(06:05):
to that coming up. Now. Could you take a second
and tap the talk back microphone tell us what you
think about this? Oh, if it's easier for you to
call eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one,
maybe you missed the memo. Martin Short is going to
host a reboot of ABC's Match Game.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Well, it's a great game show. As much as I
like watching Match Game, that's a tougher one I think
for me to like win the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
So what game show do you think you would win
the most money?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Honestly, Wheel of Fortune. I'm really good at solving those puzzles.
That's always been my strong suit. What would you say?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
I would say millionaire because it's a multiple choice game,
and in a multiple choice situation, they have to give
you the answer is part of the question. That's true,
so you already have the answer. You just have to
take a one in four guest and if I needed
to phone a friend, I'd call you.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I don't know if that would be smart, but okay,
I'll google real fasts.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Mitchell and Oxen Hill, good morning. What game show do
you think you could win the most money on? I
think I would do really well on the prices right,
I'm always guessing.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
The right price on that show. Who doesn't love Plinko?
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Mitchell? That is an excellent point, who does not love Plinko?
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I think it's tough to play prices right nowadays because
I don't know if you're doing aldi prices or like
whole food prices.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Another excellent points. What you got Miranda in Silver Spring,
Good Morning.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Jeopardy hands down with a wide range of knowledge and
quickly call. I'd be a buzz saw on.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
That buzzer, Chillie. Miranda says, buzz saw on that buzzer.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
That's the toughest part is making sure you get to
answer the question.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Miranda, Thank you. So what game show do you think
you could win the most money on? You know the
number eight six, six, nine, two, seven forty three sixty
one Tap to talk back microphone tell Us what's on
your mind. Hey, ladies, want to hear from you about
what you value more. Do you value your health over
beauty or do you value beauty over health? Thoughts eight

You can also tap the talk back microphone if you're
using your iHeart app. If you don't have the app,
it's for its favorite app store. Just make an account,

into that coming up in just minutes. To stay with
(08:24):
Toby and Chilli in the morning on this Friday at
six twenty three, it's ninety seven point one watch FM
Toby and Chili in the morning, and Chili and I've
been talking about this new study. Wanted to get your
take on it too. Women apparently value health over beauty,
and that begs the question health over beauty or beauty
over health. Chill. E eighty percent of women prioritize feeling
(08:45):
healthy overlooking beautiful. True or false?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
For me personally, it is true, but I think eighty
percent is really high, and I hope that that is
accurate because looking around there always seems to be this
pressure for women to change their outwardly appearance more than
worrying about their health, if that makes any sense, right, Yeah,
(09:09):
that's the perception anyway, So good if that's true.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Now, on average, women according to this study feel eight
years younger than their actual age. True or false?
Speaker 2 (09:19):
It is? I think that's yes for me? Yes, eight
years eight to ten years younger.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Wow, I feel that.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
I know.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
I don't think your son keeps you young.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Having had him later in life. It could go both ways.
He can age me real quick, or he could keep
me young.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, I know it.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
Now, women apparently start feeling pressure to look younger at
thirty nine. Was that true for you? And do you
think it's true for others?
Speaker 2 (09:45):
I started to feel pressure in my mid forties, not
at thirty nine. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
And seventy eight percent of women according to this have
never considered botox or fillers. I wonder if these people
had pulled people potomac well.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
The fact that they've never considered it, I think that's
not true. I think more than that, seventy eight have
never considered it. Come on, maybe I'm just hanging out
with a bunch of different people. But we've all at
some point considered it. We may not go through with it,
but we've considered it.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Well, a little nip and tuck there never heard.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's not a nip tuck, it's a botox or filler.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Well, that's true too.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Those are very benign things compared to major stuff. That's
why I'm saying I think more have considered it.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Right. So, if you've got thoughts, and you probably do,
tap that talk back microphone, if you're signed into your
iheartapp listening to us. We love hearing what you have
to say about this stuff that we talk about mornings
here on ninety seven point one Wash FM, and we
love giving you free stuff.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Shelby and Chilli's nearly impossible question like.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld Marilyn Live. You want to go?
It's November first. Here's the question.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
In a survey, sixty one percent of women think that
men should do this once a week.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
What is it? Well, there are many facets to that question.
Eight sixty six, nine, two, seven forty three, sixty one
is the number. If you want to see Jerry Seinfeld
Maryland Live. Here's the question one more time.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Sixty one percent of women think men should do this
at least once a week.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
What is it? All right? Call us? Now? Get it right?
You're going to Seinfeld eight six six, nine two seven
forty three sixty one. The hits are coming up. We're
going to learn something new together on this Friday with
Toby and Chilly in the morning.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Toby and Chili's nearly impossible question.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
A Chili dropped that question on me one more time,
poor fevor.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Sixty one percent of women think men should do this
once a week? What is it?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
The fair facts? It's big Bob, Good morning, Bob. How
are you? I'm wonderful? Are you wonderful?
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Man?
Speaker 1 (11:52):
It's Friday. You can't beat that feeling on a Friday,
and you can't beat the feeling of seeing Jerry Seinfeld. Oh,
you've got the question, what's your guests? Call your mother?
You're reminding me that I haven't called my parents in
a minute. I need to actually do that. It's been
a week and they don't usually like that. They usually
want it called daily. I got to be better about that.
(12:14):
I'm a bad son, Bob, No, your a good son.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
My mom used to ask me how pack my brother
hasn't called her? I said you should call him and
ask kid.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
That's right right, that's me, Mom. I'm not throwing anybody
under the bus.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
I'm the one right here. Well, Bob, the spirit of
your mom is looking in upon you today and here's why.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
It's the correct answer. You're gonna go see Jerry Seinfeld
at the Hall Live on November first.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Awesome, awesome, thank you.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
No, thank you, congratulations. You make your mom a proud
thank you. Sure you're welcome, sir. Thank you for listening
to tell me of Chilly in the Morning. Where next
week you listen to us, you play, and you win

the impact that it's had.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
One of our first veterans I met at work. He
was a twenty six year old Marine Corps veteran. His
hips had been crushed on accident and he would come
into work that over double was using a cane to walk.
After about a year of working with him, he was
able to not only ride independently, but he could go
back to running. He is now alignman and climbs telephone
(14:58):
poles and works at Altea to high tension paralyze.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Wow, what would you say? Is the reason these horses
have this magical ability to heal.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Now coming up next, did you guys see the story
about how a kid damaged a fifty six million dollar painting.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
That's fifty six million dollars.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Every parent's worst nightmare.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Do you think mom had to replace it?
Speaker 2 (16:15):
I hope not.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
We're talking about it in minutes. Stay with Toby and
Chili in the Morning. This is how we do it, Chili.
It's ninety seven point one wash FM Toby and Chilly
in the Morning, seven thirty nine on this Friday, May second.
I don't know if you saw the story about a
kid who scratched a fifty million, fifty million dollar painting.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
It is six million, don't forget that other sixty.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Okay, well fifty six million dollar painting. Yeah, And I
mean it got us talking about our kids and has
your child ever broken or damaged something that once belonged
to somebody else.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Not yet, he's eleven. Give him time. But if I
ever were around something as expensive as a painting in
a museum like this, gud I, I would make sure
he's nowhere near it, because he's a little clumsy, a
little too curious. I would be so paranoid that I
wouldn't go anywhere near something that expensive with my child.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
I'm very thankful that my daughter, who is a graduating
college did not have this issue when she was a kid. However,
that apple fell far from the tree when it came
to Dad, who backed into an all brick mailbox once
with a nineteen seventy eight Pontiac station wagon.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Okay, yeah, and let's just say that the bumper won.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Oh okay, So you not only damaged your parents' car,
but you damaged somebody else's mailbox.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
No, the car was. The car was fine. It was
a nineteen seventy eight Pontiac. Okay, but like the mailbox
was gone? Mail was it was? I guess a school friend.
It's even your whole church for no. No, Yeah, Dad
was not happy when we had to pay a mason
to rebuild that mail box.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Well, you guys did the right thing. You offered to
repair it or pay for it, which is the first
thing I would have to offer up. But not for
fifty sixty.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Six million dollars.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
By the way, they're not they're saying they could probably
fix the scratches, and they're not sure if the parents
are gonna have to be held accountable in any way
for the damage.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
But dad was the mona Lisa, No, it was a
Mark Rothko painting. To be clear, has this ever happened
to you? Eight six six nineteen seven forty three sixty one?
Is your kid ever broken or damaged something that once
belonged to someone else? Now you see why it once
belonged to someone else, because what they got back was
(18:45):
damaged by your kid. What's your story? Give us a call,
tell us what it is. If it's easier, use the
talkbag microphone, tap speak send. If you don't have the app,
it's free, it's your favorite app store. And by the way,
make us pre said number one. You're thinking about it.
We'll talk about that coming up. As Toby and Chilly
in the Morning continues Toby and Chilly in the Morning
(19:06):
at ninety seven point one washup m Fifty six million
dollars worth of damage to a painting.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yeah, all caused by a child visiting a museum. That's
enough to make me want to vomit if it were
my kid.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Fifty six million dollars. They had to have some kind
of insurance policy on.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah. I don't think that they're on the hook for that,
because they're going to try to fix the scratches. But ugh, I.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Swear to the baby. Hey, suss, I hope they're not
on the hook for that, because no parent deserves that
kind of ugh, angst, feeling, anxiety insert emotional response.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Here, especially when they break or damage somebody else's good.
It's one thing if they break something that you own.
Sean and silver Spring, what's up?
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Byson went on a rambage this one time and knocked
over six different things at my friend house. He broke
five of them then cost me three hundred.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Dollars man, and you know you want to replace all
that stuff if you ever want to be invited back
to that house again.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Well, on a positive note, at least it's not fifty
six million dollars. Susan falls Church, good morning, what's on
your mind?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
My kid once broke a fancy glass bowl while pretending
to be Spider Man at a friend's house. Of course,
we apologized and offered to replace it.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Bless and learned, Thanks Susan. The lesson here is, do
not play a superhero indoors.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, you keep that in mind when it comes to
your son Donado and he starts wanting to play Thunderbolts
or Avengers or something.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
No, thankfully he's not part of the Marvel universe.
