You just need to push through the first five seconds.
It's pretty deep, Mel Robbins. You don't have to believe
in yourself. You just need to push through the first
five seconds. And what Mel is trying to say, at
least to me, is that momentum starts with one brave move.
And if that's the case, then what will be your

(05:05):
brave move today that starts that momentum. You don't have
to believe in yourself, you just need to push through
the first five seconds. Mel Robbins with your morning mindset today.

Point in a relationship, there's a conversation about having kids
right at what time? When is the right time to
talk about kids?

That's an interesting, interesting question. We'll delve into it coming

this turns out. In just minutes, Toby and Chilly in
the morning at ninety seven point one, watch FM question

(06:03):
when is the right time in a relationship to talk
about having kids? The numbers eight six six nine two
seven forty three sixty one. Talk back wide open too,
so you can tap speak and send and jump into
the conversation. This comes up because there's a woman on
Reddit who refused to have kids before marriage and her
boyfriend had some thoughts.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
He's accusing her of punishing him because he hasn't proposed yet.
Now I'm guessing that she kind of told him way
early on that she doesn't believe in having kids outside
of marriage.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
So when is the right time in a relationship to
talk about having kids?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Chill?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
I think very early on, like the first couple of days,
if I'm serious about you, because it could be a
deal breaker for one or the other of you. Now
you're not married yet to your girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, it's it's been a long time that we've been together. However,
it was not early on that we had the kids talk.
It did come up within the first year. Oh, but
it didn't happen right away.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Stefan's got some thoughts about when the right time to
have the talk about god kids is Go ahead, sir, I.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Think the first aid is a good idea, Like, I
don't want to waste my time if someone.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Has different opinions about kids.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Why go on a dozen dates with someone if it's
eventually not even.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Going to work out?

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Great point stuff on. Now, there is a chance that
the person could change their mind, which has happened right Like,
you said one thing and now suddenly you feel a
different way.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Very true, Chilliyamara, And I bet that that happens more
often than not, because early on in a relationship you
might play a little choy or maybe you just haven't
thought about it. Lacey, good morning, thanks for listening in Vienna.
When do you think the right time to have the
talk about the kids.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Is when it starts feeling serious, like before rinsen, before
moving in. If you're dreaming long term, kids should definitely
be part of the convo. Yeah, Lacey's right.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
You don't want to bring it up after the proposal
and like shock them with something like so we're going
to have those six kids? Right?

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Noted? Ladies noted? So when do you think the right
time is in a relationship to have the kids talk?
Six seven forty three sixty one is the number talkback?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Because also open for you too.

forty three sixty one. You ever forget a prescription, maybe
you need to take a picture to remember something for
your car or whatever. There's a list of photos that
they say we should keep on our phone now. The

(10:35):
list is quite interesting and it's caused an interesting dialogue
between Chili and I and you might want to get
in on this and we'll talk about it coming up next.
So feel free to share your thoughts about what photos
you've got on your phone right now that'll help you
remember next twenty four ninety seven point one watch FM

(10:56):
Toby and Chili in the morning. Thank you so much
for waking up with us. Want to tell talk to
you about this list we came across. It was on
the Internet of Things photos that you should keep on
your phone, and I had to chilly never stopped to
think about some of the things on this list, because
I do have some of the stuff on the list
in my phone, and I'm sure you do too.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Just to be clear, these are photos to help us
remember things.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Correct, okay, like not just photos of friends and family.
Friends are selfie.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Travel confirmation numbers you could keep on your phone, the
size of people's clothes. I mean, there's a lot of
stuff on this list. What I do is take a
picture of where I park to remember where I've parked
in a garage, but then I delete it right after right.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
The most recent thing that I pulled that on because
that's what I do as well. Where it was a
tire size because I always screwed my tire size up.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
And then I'm like, oh, then I get flustered and
you just start wasting everybody's time, and that's no fun.
So I take the tire size photo just to make
sure that I know. But you know, what was really
glaring to me on this list? And then I had
to like check myself when I read it. They say
we should have our credit cards front and back, photographed
and saved on our phone because it's good to have

(12:10):
if we need to buy something online and the cards
in another location.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Nope, not doing that. Oh way, if I lose my
phone and that picture my credit card is on there,
that's not gonna be good.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I mean, I'm full stop. When it comes to financial information.
The closest outcome is like insurance information. I sent Kyla
our insurance cards. I'm not really super concerned about that,
although some people might be because data these days, however,
A credit card, No, not at all. What do you
have on your phone to help you remember? Have you

(12:43):
deleted them? Have you cleaned up your phone the numbers
eight sixty six, ninety seven forty three sixty one. But
what's even better for us is if you send us
a quick talkback message. If you're signed into your iHeart
app listening to us, then you already see the talkback microphone,
tap speak and send. We always love hearing what you
have to say about this, and believe us, we probably

(13:04):
have some of the same things saved on our phones
that you do for yours.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Helby and Chilli's nearly impossible question?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Ah right, what's the question today?

Speaker 4 (13:12):

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yeah? They did.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
We just stayed on it for an hour and a half.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Dah oh.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Me and my anxiety would be going crazy. To paraphrase Chili,
and I have maybe a degree of anxiety. However, that
would make me feel very claustrophobic and very concerned.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
It was the fourth cell phone, so I didn't have
something to do on my phone while I was standing there.
It wouldn't have been good reception anyway. But here's something
that won't give you anxiety. That's the correct answer.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
You've won.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I've won. Really.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Oh yes, Now you're going.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Elon Musk is slamming President Trump's new spending bill, calling
it a quote disgusting abomination. In a post on X,
Musk says he just can't stand it anymore and shames
lawmakers who voted for it. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is
ordering a navy shipped rename that's currently named after gay

(15:50):
rights icon and Navy veteran Harvey Milk to be renamed
later this month, which happens to be Pride Month. In
an emergency vote yesterday, the DC Council moved to pause
the upcoming increase to the tipped minimum wage. The change
was approved by voters to gradually raise the tip wages
to seventeen fifty by the year twenty twenty seven, but

(16:11):
with Mayor Bowser's proposed budget aiming to repeal the law,
critics support the pause. Three DC residents are facing charges
for allegedly stealing over thirty thousand dollars in candles from
stores in Fairfax County. Investigators say the suspects were involved
in fifteen different thefts from stores in Kingstown and fair
Oaks between February tenth and May twenty fifth. Fairfax County

(16:35):
is considering taking over residential trash collection now. Right now,
most residents are hoa's manage their own service, while the

Speaker 3 (17:16):
So your friends, you get the news.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Toby and Chilly's top stories at ninety seven point one,
wash Chef m at the top of every hour Monday
through Friday, when you listen to us, and then why
don't you grab the phone and give us a call
or tap the talkback microphone and tell us what you
think about this. Twenty twenty five is shaping up to
be the summer of the Speedo. No, the tiny swimwear

(17:41):
apparently is making a comeback, the summer of the Speedo.
Ladies and gentlemen. We'll go into this coming up in
just minutes. Toby and Chilly in the morning at ninety
seven point one, was Chef M allow us to be
amongst the first to welcome you to the summer of
this Speedo.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yes, that's right. The ultra teeny weenie weeni.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Uh, what's called micro trunk bikini for all people. Guys, Yeah,
you know what I'm talking about. Can you imagine walking
out to the pool and seeing everybody wearing some sort
of speedo. Apparently this is a thing.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Again.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
The trend is starting in the UK, but you know
how the US is. When the UK starts a trend,
it comes across the ocean and then boom, we pick
up on it.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
The sales on the speedos are a significant fort which
is that's a lot if if I'm not a fan, Okay,
first of.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
All, I'm not a fan.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Of course, I'm just gonna.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Put that out there. Well, I don't care what body
size or shape you have. I'm just not a fan
of the speedo, un men. But if it were to
make it across the pond here, h, I do have
a request.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Please manscape right?

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Because we are expected if you wear a take care
of things right or even when we wear bathing suits.
So that's all I'm gonna say about that. If you
have to, if you feel like you really want to,
please take care of yourself.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
If you want to wear a banana hammock by the pool,
I just want to say that there are certain in
my opinion, there are certain body types that that said
bathing suits, when wear looks.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
And what body type is that?

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Not mine? That's fine.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Ain't nobody needed to see me wearing some kind of
speedo by the pool?

Speaker 3 (19:33):
You know? And that's really all I'll say about it.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
If you're however, if you've got the self confidence and
you're comfortable, and you feel however, and you look however,
and you're you just do you right. But for me,
I'm gonna save you that nightmare, that horror story that
that that that true crime drama kind of looking thing,
because it'd be a crime if I wore a speedo
by the pool.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
That's just what I'm thinking. Now.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
If you have thought about this, do you believe the
this is indeed the summer of the speedo thoughts? Eight
sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one. Can
also tap the talkback microphone and jump in and tell
us what you think about these speedos and making a comeback.
You've got our thoughts, what are yours?

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Now?

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Can you tell us what you think about somebody else
using your coffee mugge at work?

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Uh? Huh?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
I can?

Speaker 4 (20:22):
I think I do? Somebody's been using mine?

Speaker 2 (20:25):
What somebody has been really, yes, do you care if
someone uses your coffee mugget work? I mean you're not
using it at the time, right, Well, we'll unpack this
coming up in a few minutes. As Toby and Chilly
in the Morning continues, hang out, I gotta hear from
you about this. The number is eight sixty six ninet
two seven forty three sixty one and talkback is wide
open too. If you're listening on your iHeart app, tap

(20:46):
that button and tell us what do you think about
somebody else using your coffee mug or cup at work?
Do you have a problem with this? And in the
last twenty five minutes, there's been a development to this,
ChIL Yamar.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I have a dupe like a Yetti dupe mug, one
of those that keep your drinks hot or cold, and
somebody clearly borrowed it because it wasn't exactly where I
put it. It has been moved from the cupboard. We
have a shared cupboard space, and I'm okay that somebody
may have used it at the compliment. It is a
cool mug, but I hope that they wash it well

(21:24):
right and next time, please put it back exactly where
you took it from.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
By the way.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
That means wash it with soap and some hot water,
don't just rinse it off and like try to pass
it off as being clean.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
We see you, we see you. What about you?

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Would you mind if I don't know, like if you
have anything that you're.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Unarticularly, I would not care.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
It's not like it's a personal mug that's got like,
you know, pictures of my daughter or the dog or
my significant other on it. So yeah, that being said,
I wouldn't leave that in general population anyway. That would
go into my locker, right, But I wouldn't care for
the most part, you know, because I'm not using it anyway.
So what's wrong if somebody else, you know, goes and

(22:03):
treats themselves to some hot chocolate in my nice mug?

Speaker 4 (22:06):
I will say, mine has my name on it, like
with a marker, Like I put my name so that
they would have known it's mine, but they still wanted
to use it.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
You need to put a sign on that mug.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
What am I going to write on it?

Speaker 3 (22:17):
For rent five dollars?

Speaker 1 (22:20):
I wish that would work.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
I mean seriously, put like a little post it down
at the bottom and don't tell anybody.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
If they could afford to pay me five dollars rent
for my yetti dupe, then they can probably afford to
get real coffee from a store, not our machines here.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
That is very true. And by the way, to whomever
is borrowing, borrowing, stealing, I mean using without permission Chili's
