Of the day.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Apple founder Steve Job says the only way to do
great work. The only way to do great work is
to love what you do. You see his passion fuels excellence,
and you can only find passion if you really love
what you're doing. And when you love what you do,
that's what allows you to reach for that greatness.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
So Steve is right. The only way to do great
work is to love what you do.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
And if you don't love what you do, then perhaps
maybe something else could be for you. But passion, that's
what fuels excellence, and that's how you get to do
great work, and that's why you love what you do.
Steve jobs with your morning mindset today. If it helps,
if it made you feel some sort of way, maybe
you just want to read it again to meditate on it.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Reach out to us.

actually sent us a voice note that early and been
believed it.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Give us a few Toby and.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
My name is Sue from Gaithersburg, and I am a
preschool teacher with Prince George's County Public Schools, and I
just wanted to let you know that today the Maryland
State Department of Education came to our school to do
their final observation and we have finished our year long
process for accreditation. We're now waiting for them to make
their decision as to whether we passed or didn't pass.
(06:44):
And I just wanted to share that with you. I
hope you're having a great day. Take care.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Bye bye bye bye.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
There she goes Sue in Gaithersburg, who actually left us
a talk back message.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I love that so much, and yeah, good luck to
Sue's school because that accreditation is very important.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
And what's important to you is that you should know
if you tap that talkback microphone, and you leave us
a voice start. You tell us what's good in your world,
why you're feeling okay today, why or maybe you want
to just share something else. We actually listen to them
here at ninety seven point one wash CHEFM.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
So thank you Sue for leaving that. Now you know
you may not have had a chance in this very moment,

Speaker 7 (07:49):
Next Top Stories, Top of the Hour.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
President Trump has ordered an investigation into President Biden, accusing
AIDS of hiding his cognitive decline in questioning the validity
of documents that he was signed using an auto pen.
But Biden responded in a statement last night saying, let
me be clear, I made the decisions during my presidency.
Tipped workers rallied outside the Wilson Building in DC to
(08:15):
oppose a push to repeal Initiative eighty two, saying that
the voter approved measure has boosted their income and the
quality of life now. Supporters of that repeal held a
competing rally arguing the initiative actually caused job losses, closures,
and price hikes. A pilot program that gave one hundred
and eighty financially struggling Fairfax County families seven hundred and
(08:36):
fifty dollars a month has ended. It was launched back
in October twenty twenty three. The Economic Mobility Pilot aimed
to support those who are ineligible for traditional aid, and
experts say it let those families focus more on their children, communities,
and savings. A Fairfax County man facing charges after he
allegedly asked a child to get into his car at
(08:57):
a school bus stop, please say forty five year old
Hugo Solis attempted to lure the child into a car
in Annandale Tuesday morning. Thankfully, the child ran from the
suspect and was not hurt. And if you visit the
National Mall this week, you're going to see thirty thousand
American and Purple flags near the US Capitol, and they
represent those who are affected by migraines and headache disorders.
(09:19):
The installation called Headache on the Hill marks migrain and
Headache Awareness Month. Forecast today partly cloudy with highs in
the mid fifties. We too have a chance of an
isolated shower right now though it is sixty five in Beltzmann.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
And that's the news.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Toby and Chilly in the morning and give you top
stories at the top of the hour so you can
start your day informed with what really matters. Now, in
just a few minutes, we're going to talk about something
that I can't believe is a communicable disease because I
thought it was a mental health type thing. What's the
mental health thing that is apparently something which can spread
(09:57):
by contact. We'll tell tell you coming up in just
a few Stay with it. At six twenty two, it
is ninety seven point one.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Watch FM. You've got Toby and Chili in the morning. Chili.
You see this new study up that.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Says depression and anxiety could be caught through close contact.
It's almost like depression and anxiety according to this study
would be like a like a cold, like if I
sneeze in your direction, you could catch it well.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
By kissing somebody. When one fous of spouse faced mental
health or sleep issues, their partner often develops similar symptoms
because they're saying that the cortisol can be spread the
stress hormone.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
That to me is just very very interesting because I've
never ever thought that depression or anxiety could be communicable,
that it could transmit.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
I transmit feel anxious a lot, and my husband and
I love kissing. My husband has never ever gotten my
anxious cooties. Okay it he is so laid back. If anything,
I wish I could catch the laid back miss whatever
that is from him.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
I know it's very true.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Like if anybody in my life has ever become anxious
because I've been around, it's just because I do think
sometimes that cause people anxiety.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
It's not because you're in close contact like by kissing.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
No, I don't know, I know, start doing some crazy
things sometimes you.
Speaker 6 (11:16):
Know it's just me.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
But yes, it's interesting.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
I just don't know how true that is, because, like
I said, I live it with a husband that's really
really laid back, and he has not caught anything of
mine as far as my anxiety or cortisol, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
And yeah, and depression, same thing, you know, I don't
know that. I mean, yeah, there's a lot of reasons
why people get depressed. I just didn't think that it
could be spreaded by kissing. It's interesting if you have
some thoughts on this study, maybe if you work in
that whole world, you could call and shed some light
on it.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Or it is with the talkback message, it's ol. Sometimes
it's just easier if you're sending to your iHeart app
tap speak and send that talkback microphone and send us
a voice and tell us what you think about what
we've just shared with you, because we're like, hmm interesting.
Speaker 7 (12:06):
Helby and Chilly's nearly impossible question, and.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Hmm interesting is learning something new with a form of
this question?
Speaker 6 (12:12):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (12:13):
The average American homeowner will spend forty hours a year
doing this and it is a chore.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
So what is it?
Speaker 6 (12:21):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Eight sixty six nine two seven three sixty one call
now get it right. See Dirk Spentley Jiffy Loub Live
this summer thanks to Live Nation. Here's the question again.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
The average homeowner. We'll spend forty hours a year doing this.

What is it? All right?
Speaker 3 (12:35):
If you know the answer, the time to call is
right now. For Dirk Spentley tickets, Jiffy loub Live, Thank you,
Live Nation. You'll see him this summer when he gets

question so we can all learn something new together with
your nearly impossible question for this Thursday and the game
is off Helby.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
And Chilly's nearly impossible question.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Here's the question again in case you missed it.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
The average homeowner, we'll spend forty hours a year doing this.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Dirk Spentley tickets are on the line thanks to our
friends at Live Nation Dirk's will be at Jiffy lu
Live this summer. We go to Gathersburg and we say
good morning to Bill, Good morning Bill, good.

That's right, good morning, good morning to you. That's absolutely right.
Always ladies first, So you've got the question for the
Dirk's Bentley tickets.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
What do you think The answer is?
Speaker 6 (13:21):
Mowing the lawn?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Why is that something that you might have some issues with?
Speaker 6 (13:27):
I used to now live in a condo. I don't
have to worry about it.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah, you just have a higher hro A fee for that. WHOA, Bill,
that's an excellent guess, And you're right. The average home
owner spends about forty hours a year mowing their lawn
because it's a chore.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (13:42):
Only if it's a small lawn, it's taking a couple
of hours.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Well, Bill, you're going to the show.
Speaker 6 (13:47):
I do appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Well, we appreciate you for listening. Thank you, and have
a wonderful day you too, all right, and make sure
you're here tomorrow for another round of your nearly impossible
question More Dirk Spentley tickets on line, and the news
is on the way. Toby and Chilly's Top Stories at
the Top of the Hour. That's just minutes from now.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Hang out.
Speaker 7 (14:08):
Top Stories Top of the Hour.
Speaker 4 (14:10):

Speaker 3 (15:57):
The news, Gilian, the one it would speak Toby with
your your words with Toby and Chile in the morning
you get top stories at the top of the hour.
And I'm kind of excited because Chilly and I were
talking about this off the air over the last couple
of days, and then we were like, you know what,
we need to bring it up and ask everybody what
your thoughts are on this flag football right in case
(16:20):
you didn't know, it's going to be an Olympic sport
coming up in these games in LA. Then it dovetailed
into this other conversation, if flag football is going to
be an Olympic sport, what other game that we played
as kids should be a part of the Olympics. What
other childhood game got thoughts? Eight six six nine two
seven forty three sixty one. We'll get into this coming
(16:42):
up next, coming to the Olympics in twenty twenty eight,
to the Los Angeles games. Toby and Chilly in the
morning ninety seven point one watch FM flag football. A
lot of the NFL football players are very excited. They
want to play for Team USA. Huh, Chilli, what do
you think about this flag football?
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Whether it's fair or not? Flag football seems like a
kid activity, like a kid sport.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
That's very true, and I think that's why it needs
to be an Olympic sport, a permanent Olympic sport, because
if you can have grown men professional football players stop
being professional football players and become like quasi Olympic Team
USA flag football players, that to me is worth the
price of admission.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Isn't there another childhood game that we can turn into
an Olympic sport?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
I am sure that there is. Eight sixty six nine
two seven forty three sixty one. Maybe you have some suggestions.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
I have one, actually, red light green light could be
oh really, because you have to sprint, so there's speed.
You have to have really good like reflexes or reaction
skills that could be a good one.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
I think dodgeball would be a great Olympics.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
When I was in school, we called it war ball,
although it wouldn't be war ball because it's the Olympics
and you can't have war But it's very competitive. So
that brings up a good question this morning. What is
a childhood game that you would like to see as
an Olympic sport? Isaac, Good morning at Oxon Hill. What
do you have to add?
Speaker 6 (18:09):
I want to see kickball any Olympics. Man. That thing
was a beautiful game. I want to see how far
somebody can actually boot that ball and who's brave enough
to catch it and run in the bases. I mean,
I think that'd be really cool to see that.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
That actually makes a lot of sense, Isaac, because you're
marrying softball and baseball.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
There, right, That's right, Chilly, And that's why, Isaac, we're
going to tell the International Olympic Committee. You said, so
it's ninety seven point one watch FM Toby and Chilly
in the morning, what childhood game ought to be an
Olympic sport in your opinion, call us and tell us
your suggestions are on the way. But before we get
to those, we've got to get to a crazy first
aige story of yours.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Sean and Fairfax flew a woman in to see him
in Dubai. Well he was on deployment.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Wow, that's love or something and you'll hear that story
in minutes. Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
Crazy first date.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Welcome Sean from DC. Tell us your story.
Speaker 9 (19:05):
I met this girl in school and we kept in
contact over the years, but we were always in another
relationship that we finally decided to pull off the band
aid and I was deployed overseas, but I had a
four day pass and I asked her. We started talking
around Valentine's Day and I asked her.
Speaker 6 (19:19):
She wanted to come out to my fort day pass
as she met me in Dubai.
Speaker 9 (19:22):
So our first date was Dubai on the Palm Island
and we went and just explored the city and went
to the aquarium and everything else. But our first real
date in person was in Dubai.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Wow, how do you top that microphone drop? We went
to Dubai and you.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
That seems really risky because it could have gone really badly.
And then she's kind of I mean not the Dubai's
a man plays to be stuck in, but then she'd
be stuck there.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
So how did that date end?
Speaker 9 (19:51):
So we ended up having a blast and really enjoying
our time together, and five years later we're married with.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
A little kid.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Oh wow, congratulations, and are you still serving our country
wearing the uniform of set armed before I am?
Speaker 6 (20:06):
I am.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Thank you for your service, sir, thank you.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Was there a moment during that Dubai date where you
looked at her and said, yeah, we can never be
just friends?
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Probably once or twice.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Yeah, congratulations, your foreign affair really became a happily ever after, sir.
Speaker 6 (20:20):
I did.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Thank you very much. So what is your story, your
crazy first aid story?
Speaker 4 (20:24):
We'd love to hear it right now for a chance
to go see Hozier at Jiffy Lube live in September.
So call eight six six nine two seven four three
six one.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
And if we use your story, you'll become an instant
finalist for those Hozier tickets.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
In the meantime, stay there.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
We're Toby and Chilly in the morning with top stories
at the top of the Hour of the News Next.

like musical chairs that's a childhood.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Game, musical chairs that be the Olympics?
Speaker 6 (23:25):
Why not?
Speaker 5 (23:25):
What?
Speaker 4 (23:25):
As Simon says, rock paper scissors.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Look, there you go, you're on a rock paper scissors
would be an Olympic sport.
Speaker 7 (23:33):
How is that big?
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Musical chairs?
Speaker 6 (23:35):
Chilly?
Speaker 3 (23:35):
That just yeah, I don't know about musical chairs. There's
no wrong answers and brainstorming, but no musical chairs.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Yeah, you're not thinking about all the great songs we'd
get to hear.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
But okay, yeah eight six six, ninety seven, forty three
sixty one, Heather, Good morning in Alexandria.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Go ahead.
Speaker 7 (23:53):
You know, I think the childhood game that should be
an Olympics is frizzy. People get really competitive.
Speaker 6 (23:58):
About frizzy and it's actually a bigger thing than you
would think. It's at a lot of colleges and it's.
Speaker 9 (24:03):
Become very competitive.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
So I would say frisby should be added to the
Olympic heather.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
That is a good one. But isn't there also like
a frisbee golf or something.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yes, the two are different, and one is just throwing
the frisbee around and frisbee golf is the other one.
That's the one with the elevated buckets.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
You run around and you try to get it in
the frisbee into the bucket. It's scored like golf. But
that's where it ends.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Brent's from Montgomery Village and he wants to add his
sport to the list.
Speaker 8 (24:30):
Oh, it should one be tag and there is like
I think there's a professional tag league where there's obstacles
all throughout it and people run and do par court
style moves.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
That should be an Olympic sport.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Brent, I love it.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
I love it because that's one sport that I'd actually
be good at.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Oh, Chilly tag.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
