Honestly, And my husband doesn't need any kind of nudge
or reminder. He's got an incredible memory, so he's much
better at remembering dates. That's kind of the joke on
the show, as I sometimes forget even our wedding anniversary. Yeah,
but no, Yeah, he proposed to me on the National
Mall fifteen years ago on a very hot and humid
August stay after we went kayaking on the Potomac.

And I got upset with my father because I said,
you should have consulted with us, like, hey, can I
buy him this before you actually did it, because I

was common courtesy. But you disagree.

I sided with your father, like I'm an uncle. It's
fun to buy things. I think he should be able to,

I have to get up extra early to come in
and spend time with you, which is great, but then

minutes a day to kind of reset, like a quick
little nap, and to maximize that, I'm using noise canceling
headphones that my partner Kyle bought for like flights, which

are really nice and they really do cancel everything out.

And I'm using a sleep mask.

Oh okay, it's very dark, very quiet. Yes, so it
takes perfect environment for.

I took him to get his haircut because he's he's
going to be on television on Friday on Good Morning Washington.

I wanted him a get a nice little groom.

I wanted to be really cute. Usually I cut his
hair at home.

He's five pounds, okay, but I thought, we'll take you
for anther haircut.

Well, I worked with two girls whose husbands knew this gentleman,
and they introduced me to him on a blind date.
He lived in Connecticut, we lived in New Jersey, so
he came down and we spent the evening, you know,
having dinner, going out for drinks and listening to music
and we had a great time. Came back to the
house and he was going to stay at this one

couple's house and I went home. However, he really didn't
want to stay overnight, so he ended up driving back
to Connecticut, and on his way back, he fell asleep
in his car and he hit a car parked on
the inside, like on the castlingk And he wasn't hurt,
but he got put in jail. Now, I did not

know any of this. On Monday, when I went back
to work, they all told me what it happened.

Did you guys ever end up seeing each other again?

Actually we did. He invited me to a dinner in
New York City at the Waldorf Astoria and we got
along great.

Mall fifteen years ago on a very hot and humid

little nap, and to maximize that, I'm using noise canceling
headphones that my partner Kyle bought for like flights, which

are really nice and they really do cancel everything out.

Okay, a lot, because pets are expensive.

Well, I spent a lot on our five pound chihuahua, Biggie. Yesterday.

I took him to get his haircut because he's he's
going to be on television on Friday on Good Morning Washington.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
I wanted him a get a nice little groom.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
I wanted to be really cute. Usually I cut his
hair at home.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
He's five pounds, okay, but I thought, we'll take you
for anther haircut.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
I get to the checkout counter after tip. It was
one hundred dollars for his haircut.
Speaker 5 (19:06):

For anybody who doesn't have a dog that needs grooming,
I'll speak on their behalf.

Okay, that's not a lot. That's not a lot.

No, because I have a hypoallergenic dog.

And the nine week maintenance of my labradoodle is unfortunately
way more than just one hundred dollars.

teeth brushed, his nails clips okay, and a haircut okay.

So you see it's more than just a bunch of
bubbles and conditioner. Of course, it's gonna cost more. Otherwise
you do it yourself all the time.

So you're saying one hundred bucks isn't that bad?

No, it's not.

And you're also lucky this is just for a special occasion.
You're not having to do it every two months.

Well, I worked with two girls whose husbands knew this gentleman,
and they introduced me to him on a blind date.
He lived in Connecticut, we lived in New Jersey, so
he came down and we spent the evening, you know,
having dinner, going out for drinks and listening to music
and we had a great time. Came back to the
house and he was going to stay at this one

couple's house and I went home. However, he really didn't
want to stay overnight, so he ended up driving back
to Connecticut, and on his way back, he fell asleep
in his car and he hit a car parked on
the inside, like on the castlingk And he wasn't hurt,
but he got put in jail. Now, I did not

know any of this. On Monday, when I went back
to work, they all told me what it happened.

Did you guys ever end up seeing each other again?
Speaker 8 (21:29):
Actually we did. He invited me to a dinner in
New York City at the Waldorf Astoria and we got
along great.
Speaker 9 (21:37):
Well, it's a good thing you didn't have to drive
to come get you.

You could just use the subway.

Were you guys together for a while after that? Or
did things sort of fizzle out over time?

We stayed together. We did get married, and we've been
married forty six years.
