conversation related to the team will bring up Snyder. I'm like, dude,
it is time to let go of the grudge. The

Last I checked, he was on his yacht off the

We're one or two drinks in and he's like yeah,
and so I leave my phone. I got it back
and I'm like, if I come back, and the chickets
like already purchased, we're going to go, And so I
come back and he pushed the.

Information on the phone. Chicken was purchased. So four days
later I got an applight to go to South Africa.
So we went and had a great time and the
best first.

Officials say nearly half of non immigration arrests from August
ninth through the seventeenth were in wards seven and eight,
and analysis shows the shares of arrests in those areas
really hasn't changed since the crackdown began. DC setting up

another special youth curfew zone tonight along the U Street
corridor in Northwest Starting at eight o'clock tonight, groups of
more than eight miners will not be allowed to gather there,
with some exceptions, and that zone will stay in effect
through Sunday. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology
in Alexandria was named one of the top five high

schools in the entire country, and it ranks first in Virginia.
In DC school without Walls came in sixty ninth in
the country, and Basis d C ranked second locally but
one hundred and thirty ninth overall. Delta and United being
sued in a class action case by passengers who say

real windows. That lawsuit claims that some of the seats
were actually next to air vents or electrical panels, and
that the airline did not warn customers before they charged
them more. And a new survey shows just how attached
people are to their phones. One in five say they

festival toilet, and many say that losing or even breaking
their phone would upset them more than being at a

Evacuations have been ordered in parts of North Carolina's outer
banks as Hurricane Aaron churns. Offshore swimming at most east
coast beaches being advised against due to life threatening surf
and rip currents. A federal judge rejected the Justice Department's
request to unseal Jeffrey Epstein Grand jury records. The ruling
comes amid renewed public interest, although such evidence cannot be

released without judicial approval. Federal prosecutors in DC will no
longer charge people with felonies just for carrying rifles or shotguns.
US Attorney Janin Janine Piro says that her office will
still prosecute crimes that involve guns or cases where people
(18:29):
are not allowed to have them, while unregistered firearms cases
are going to be handled by the DC Attorney General.
DC health officials say that four crows found in different
neighborhoods recently tested positive for West Nile virus. That's something
not seen in wild birds around years since twenty twenty one,
(18:51):
so now they're urging everyone to keep using mosquito repellent
and wear long sleeves and pants to stay safe. Montgomery
County Public School dealing with a backlog of outdated background checks,
especially for staff hired before twenty nineteen. The superintendent says
it's going to take several months to complete the more
rigorous screening process. And sports fans, you're not limited to

just peanuts and hot dogs anymore. Stadiums are of course
now serving up gourmet Eats and Yelp ranked the best
spots for game day food. Oracle Park in San Francisco

It's about the Commander's specifically, he's been a lifelong fan
of the team and after Dan Snyder took over, and
you know, there are a lot of fans who were
not happy with how the organization was run. But Dan
is gone, and yet my friend still almost in every
conversation related to the team will bring up Snyder. I'm like, dude,
it is time to let go of the grudge. The

guy is no longer part of the team.

Guys, not even in the country.

Last I checked, he was on his yacht off the
coast of France. I mean, time to move on, dogs,
time to move on.

You feel like he did you dirty somehow, Okay, you
know whatever. You can feel some sort of way, But
any grudge that you have against anybody in your life,
I'm not personally somebody who likes to hold on to grudges.
I can feel badly about something and then I try
to let it go. I don't think you're the type
of person. Do you have any grudges?

I have time? Yeah, why am I gonna let you
live rent free? In my mind?

A great way to put it exactly what you know.

I'm not saying I was always that way.

It took me time being a grudger to get over
being a grudger.

But after that it is time to make peace with you.

Went to Texas and I.

Visited a friend who I had known over the years,
just casually and we go to breakfast.

It turned into lunch and he literally had a fight
to catch.

A few hours later, and he goes, what.
Speaker 6 (22:44):
Would happen if I shot my shot?
Speaker 3 (22:46):
And I'm like, wait, is this a real thing?
Speaker 8 (22:48):
So that conversation evolved into him saying his favorite artist
is going to be performing in kate Town in a
few days and he would love for to go to
the concert together.
Speaker 6 (22:56):
So I pulled up by information on my phone. I'm like,
are we really going to do this? It seems kind
of silly.
Speaker 8 (23:01):
We're one or two drinks in and he's like yeah,
and so I leave my phone. I got it back
and I'm like, if I come back, and the chickets
like already purchased, we're going to go, And so I
come back and he pushed the.
Speaker 6 (23:11):
Information on the phone. Chicken was purchased. So four days
later I got an applight to go to South Africa.
So we went and had a great time and the
best first.
Speaker 8 (23:19):
Shake so far.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
Please tell me it ended happily and that maybe you
saw each other again.
Speaker 8 (23:27):
Well, I stayed with him like the whole time while
I was there, So we thought.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
Each other for the next three to four days. Yeah,
you know, we went fight, seeing, went to dinner. We've
done a bunch of things.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yes, I've heard there's a lot of things to do
in South Africa, but that's more than just shooting one shot.
That's like throwing a hail mary past. Did you think
that he had lost his mind when he brought that
up originally.
Speaker 8 (23:48):
In the moment, I did, because I didn't expect this
date to turn into that.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
I didn't even think it was a date.
Speaker 6 (23:52):
We were just having breakfast. Then I said why not? Actually,
what would be the reason not to do this?
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Well, it sounds like the beginning of a great love story.
What happened after that trip?
Speaker 6 (24:00):
Did we kept in contact? We were dating? I guess
long distance dating.
Speaker 8 (24:07):
It was new thresh, but after some months it didn't
end up working out, so.

More distance shows up. I mean, it's one thing to
fly to South Africa, it's another thing to have a
long distance relationship when you're here in the DMB.

Yeah, man, and that was quite the bar that you

These is rejecting claims that the federal anti crime crackdown
is ignoring parts of DC east of the Anacostia River.
Officials say nearly half of non immigration arrests from August
ninth through the seventeenth were in wards seven and eight,
and analysis shows the shares of arrests in those areas
really hasn't changed since the crackdown began. DC setting up
(26:21):
another special youth curfew zone tonight along the U Street
corridor in Northwest Starting at eight o'clock tonight, groups of
more than eight miners will not be allowed to gather there,
with some exceptions, and that zone will stay in effect
through Sunday. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology
in Alexandria was named one of the top five high

schools in the entire country, and it ranks first in Virginia.
In DC school without Walls came in sixty ninth in
the country, and Basis d C ranked second locally but
one hundred and thirty ninth overall. Delta and United being
sued in a class action case by passengers who say
that they paid extra for windows seats that don't have

real windows. That lawsuit claims that some of the seats
were actually next to air vents or electrical panels, and
that the airline did not warn customers before they charged
them more. And a new survey shows just how attached
people are to their phones. One in five say they
would climb onto the subway tracks to retrieve a dropped phone,

Over half say they would grab it from a dirty
festival toilet, and many say that losing or even breaking
their phone would upset them more than being at a
car crash. Forecasts for today cloudy and breezy hies around
