Speaker 3 (00:05):
Ninety seven point one, Wash at Them, Toby and Chilly
in the morning. Why are you feeling good before five?
It's Friday? How can you feel bad today? But I
will say this, I'm feeling good, Chili because it's a
long season, a long football season, and I know things
didn't go a certain way last night. It bit me too,
because I took the commanders to cover the line. I
(00:28):
wanted them to win with the points, but alas that
didn't happen. No, it's a thing.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I'm glad I didn't stay up for it. That's I'm
grateful for that.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Oh yeah, No, I didn't stay up for it. No,
I just I just got up this morning and check
with the score.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Twenty seven eighteen for those who haven't checked your phones yet.
Speaker 5 (00:45):
Yes, but you know last Chilli, this season is long.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Well, I yes, it is only week two.
Speaker 5 (00:54):

apples every time.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
The weather's gonna be nice for this.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
What you do with several pounds of apples. I'm just curious.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
We are apple family. We each the three of us
eat an apple a day for real. Keep the doctor only, oh,
you know, just to keep things moving. But also if
I have too many apples, I make homemade apple sauce.
I make apple tarts. I mean, there's so many things
you can do with puff pastry and apples.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
So apple tarts, apple pie.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
But we don't see again, we consume it before it
goes bad. Apples have a really good shelf life if
you if you keep them refrigerated, right, Yeah, But anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
I sounded like Bubba Gump from a Forrest Gump there
from it apples, Mike, We're gonna make some apple sauce,
Apple this apple that apple donuts. But Butler's is a
great place to go, especially if the weekend weather is
amazing and it looks like it's going to be good.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Also, we as humans spend six days a year wishing
we could undo something that we have regrets about. For example,
the number one answer people will give is caring too
much about what other people think. Is a regret?
Speaker 5 (07:07):
Interesting? What else is on that list?
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Not saving enough money earlier in life, not exercising, staying
in a relationship too long, Toby, not telling someone how
you really feel. Those are the top five, And I
would say I care too much about what other people think.
That one I relate to the most.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
What about you?
Speaker 3 (07:25):
I try to live my life with no regrets. But
if I were to tell you that, like if we
were to be out for dinner or some beverages or whatnot,
I'd be lying to you.

You write down a wish, and the wish could be
anything at all, and then from what I understand, you
hand it in while you enjoy your coffee, and by
the end of the month that wish may come true.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Well, the owner goes through them, narrows it down to
like three and then post it on Instagram for people
to go on which one they should grant.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
For instance, I would like to have all of the
money that I need to take care of my daughter's
college tuition, which incidentally is a school in Boston called Emerson.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
That would be a wish that I could see them granting. Okay,
then I'll just wish for a nice beach house, right
you know what? Ours are not going to ever make
the top.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Three, probably not, because that is a far cry from
the wish that did get granted. In fact, one of
the very first wishes granted by the Wishing Cup was
for the cafe to donate food and supplies to an
animal shelter. Let's see animal shelter, beach house college.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
To wish exactly, I'll poe for all my friends, we

story that we think will make you feel good on
this Friday. A local Boy Scout Troop's quick thinking save
their leader's life during what started as an ordinary bike ride.
Can't wait to share that with you next. As Toby
and Chilly in the Morning continues on ninety seven point one, washef.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
M Toby and Chilly in the Morning on ninety seven
point one? Wash f M.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
If it's a story that gives you all the feels
on a Friday, it's more than likely your feel good
Friday story for the day. Let's go back to a
March afternoon. It was sunny and Boy Scout Troop nineteen sixteen.
They set out on a bike ride near Laurel Hill,
park that's in Lorton, Virginia, and what started as a
really joyful outing, stopping to admire the old Lorton Reformatory
(19:45):
and to take some pictures, well, it quickly turned frightening
when fifteen nine year old troop leader Laurent Lee collapsed
while checking on his son's bike chain, going into cardiac arrest.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
And in just an instant, the troop and parents Day
sprang into action. A Lorent's son was there and he
watched in shock as fellow scouts and leaders, mainly those
who were just freshly trained and CPR, worked with calm precision.
One of those was the thirteen year old boy named Rafael,
who started chess compressions on the leader and he rotated
(20:18):
with other leaders to maintain aid.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
With guidance from nine to one to one dispatchers. They
kept Lee alive until EMTs arrived and miraculously he was
breathing and he had a pulse, and.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
After several days in the hospital, including time in the ICU,
he made a full recovery. And of course he gives
credit to his scouts quick action and also the proximity
to a road and wearing a helmet, as well as
the skills of first responders in the hospital staff.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Six months later, the troop goes back to the park.
Lorent reflects on the bond forged that day, thanking the
Scouts and the leaders, whom he calls his guardian angels.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
And because of that experience, Lorent has committed to health
and preparedness. He's urging everybody else to stay on top
of their health, and he himself plans to get CPR
certified to pay it forward.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Who knew that that day on the trails would become
so much more than just a bike ride. It became
a story of courage, teamwork, and a community ready to
act in a moment of need. It's a story that
feels good on a Friday, one we thought we would
share because we really do need more good, especially now.
(21:30):
And if you've got a story that feels good that
you want shared on a Friday or any other day,
feel free to send it our way. You can find
us on the Toby and chilipage at washfm dot com.
Now stay there because coming up.
Speaker 4 (21:42):
I don't know if you saw these hearings on Capitol
Hill this week about aliens, yes or UFOs or things
that are flying that can't be identified.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
Face the final frontier.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Do you think that we've actually been visited by people
from other planets?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Good question one will get into next sin is Toby
and Chilly in the Morning continues. Are there aliens amongst us?
Are they flying around in alien crafts dodging missiles? Have
you seen and heard about what's been going on down
at Congress this week? Toby and Chilly in the Morning,
(22:21):
it's ninety seven point one. Watch FM. The Oversight Committee,
the House Overside Committee, I guess had a hearing.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Yeah, they were talking about unidentified aerial phenomenon, which we
referred to as UFOs. Right, they declassified this video and
they presented it. And in the video there's a hell
fire missile that is fired from a drone that hits
this orb over the ocean near Yemen, and it does nothing.
It has no effect. It bounces right off and it
(22:50):
keeps flying.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Sounds to me like the United States Air Force is
testing some really cool stuff over near Yemmen.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
But this was brought forth by whistleblowers saying that the
government is keeping this information from us and that that
is something that they cannot explain. Therefore, I think it's
from another planet.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Oh Lord, that there are aliens.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
That are fine around. And by the way, plenty of
people have witnessed things. It's not just these folks who
are testifying under oath.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Look, I'm not going to say that I don't believe
that there is life on other planets and whatnot.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
I do believe this.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
However, I don't believe in this case that it's some
bizarre alien craft. I mean, we've got stuff we don't
talk about that we test every day in this country.
Somebody from the White House or the Situation Room, can
you call in confirm Pentagon? Hello, please come on, they're
already blowing whistles down on Capitol Hill. We'd love to
(23:52):
know and would love to know what you think. Two
at age sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one,
Like Micah, you say you've seen and alien craft.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (24:03):
I was driving on the highway and I saw a
light up in the sky. I thought it was just
a plane or something, but then it made a very
sharp turn and just the shot out of sight.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
It was super weird.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Thank you for sharing your eyewitness account, Micah, and proving
once again that there is a very good possibility that
these aliens are flying around all the time.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Don't find it to be highly speculative eight six, six,
nine two, seven, forty three sixty one.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
What do you think aliens UFOs an unknown aerial phenomena
flying amongst us? What do you think Do they exist?
Yes or no?
Speaker 3 (24:39):
They're talking about it on Capitol Hill at Congress. We'll
talk about it here with Toby and Chilly in the
Morning coming up in just a few minutes Top Stories
at SAPAU on the way hang out.
Speaker 4 (24:52):

and it was too food and too deliberate to be
a plane for a moment, so it was watching me
as much as I was watching it.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
If I thought there was an alien watching me, let's
just say, I'd give it quite a show.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Was it indeed engaged in a biological scan of your person?
