Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand on ninety seven point
one washef out.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Good morning, Hope your Thursday is off to a great start.
It's Toby and Chilly in the Morning on ninety seven
point one Wash FM.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
I'm kidd O'Shea.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
Did you guys have thunderstorms where you live yesterday?
Speaker 2 (00:14):
No? But I saw I woke up this morning we
got some rain. But that I've been waiting for these
thunderstorms to come.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
I know, because there's a chance of them every day
again today a chance with some severe storms. And the
reason I bring it up is because you have a dog.
I have a dog, yes, and my dog only in
the last year or so started to become terrified of thunder.
Oh no, she used to not care. Yeah, And so
we bought her one of these I guess they call thunderjackets.
It's basically keeps them snug as a bug around their doors.
(00:43):
It helps with anxiety. And I've been preemptively putting it
on her in the afternoons, just waiting for the thunder
and it hasn't happened yet, but as it calmed her,
so we haven't truly tested it like a real storm yet.
That's why. I'm like, just wait for the moment. I
think it'll make her shaking and shivering and fear a
(01:06):
little bit better, or maybe not last as long. That's
the goal, but we shall see.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
This sounds like something that if I had one of
these jackets that you could put on just for storms,
I would put it on all day long too, just
to see if it works.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
It's called crawling into bed and putting the covers. There
you go, that's our thunder chest exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
All right. Top stories are coming up next here.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
Montgomery County is set to roll out more than two

to tighter attendance rules at games. Washington Commander's quarterback Jaden

William Butler Yeates says, do not wait to strike till
the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking. Basically,
don't just sit around waiting for the perfect moment. Go
ahead and create it yourself. Think of it like applying
for a job, instead of waiting to feel one hundred
percent confident or for the perfect job to magically appear.
You should start building your resume and networking and applying
(04:09):
and maybe even learning new skills along the way. And
by taking action, you're creating this momentum and suddenly opportunities
will start to show up. So be proactive instead of
waiting for all the stars to align. William Butler Yates says,
do not wait to strike till the iron is hot,
but make it hot by striking. You can find that
quote or share your own on the Toby and Chili
(04:30):
page at washfm dot com.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Great advice, all right, Coming up next here do you
go to the same vacation spot over and over year
after year? Well, guess what, there's a reason why you're
doing that, and you may not be alone. We'll share
that with you. Coming up next, Toby and Chilly in
the Morning, ninety seven point one wash FM.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
I'm kidd o'she and we're asking people, do you tend
to go to the same spot for vacation every year?
Eight six, six nine two seven four three six one.
A survey on a third of Americans choose to return
to the same vacation spot year after year, and repeat
travelers average five visits, with sixty five percent of folks
saying they feel like locals when they keep going back
(05:11):
to the same place.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Now, you kind of go to the same spot every year, right,
We go.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
To the Outer Banks Arienna, and for the same reason.
When we go there, we already know our favorite restaurants,
we know the area we like to stay in, we
know all the fun things my son can do. What
about you?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, we do the same thing with Rehobeth every year. Yeah,
and they have our spots we like to go when
we first get there. Nice short drive exactly.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Eight six six nine two seven four three six one.
Carl eliz Berg, Welcome to the show. Where's the vacation
spot for you?
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Guys?
Speaker 5 (05:39):
We go to Virginia Beach every year.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Sounds like you're like us. But have you ever considered
going to some of the other beach towns.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
Yeah, we've talked about maybe going to Ocean City one year,
but we've gone to Virginia Beach for the past several years,
and I think I like the familiarity with it. You know,
going somewhere different would require different planning, and it just
seems like a work inside. I'm a creature of habit.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. Carl, thanks so much
for the call.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
All right, thanks guys, have a great day.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
You too.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Natasha in Rockville, you go to the same place every year.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
This isn't a vacation, but my go to comfort place
is Lake Ana.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Oh, we enjoy going there as well. Why do you
and I right to drive down there?
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Because you know you get the road trip out of it.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
So if you just go to I don't know, say
Great Falls, that's not a road trip.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
I've got a road trip.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Out of Wakeana.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Yeah. I love bike in the trails.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Oh yes, those trails are lovely. Natasha, thank you for
calling in.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Okay, Thanks Brian, and.

The White House Budget Office has directed federal agencies to
prepare for mass layoffs if a government shutdown occurs, focusing
on programs without legal funding protections. A memo urges identifying
programs losing funds after September thirtieth, and then cutting jobs
that do not align with the President's priorities. At least

Montgomery County is set to roll out more than two

(13:22):
feeling like himself as he rehabs a left knee injury,
but he emphasized that his return against the Falcons this

practiced in a limited capacity yesterday. Now it might sound
like sci fi, but a new survey reveals that twenty
percent of AI users believe romance with AI is possible.
(13:43):
Three percent say they actually already have an AI romantic partner.
Thirty three percent of people shared personal secrets with a chatbot,
and twenty percent have named their AI and chat with

got periods of rain, a chance of storms again today

E is around eighty right now, seventy in Lantam.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
All right, thanks Chilly.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I'm kidd o'she in for Toby and we're gonna stay
on that AI theme. And speaking of that, would you
buy the music of an AI artist? We're gonna tell
you about a big record contract that just got signed
in what some people are saying they're a little concerned about.
Great eighties throwback from Peter Gabriel ninety seven point one
Wash FM with Toby and Chile in the morning. I'm
(14:29):
kidd o'she would you buy the music of an AI artist?
Speaker 4 (14:33):
There is a digital artist named Zanna Money. This person
was created by AI. Okay, so the voice got a
three million dollar record deal.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Obviously this comes powered by a human lyricist who's named
Talisha Jones. So this girl named Talisha creates lyrics and
then the AI voice, Zania Monet, sings the song Wow.
And this album released I Guess in August and it's
got power Ballad on it. It's got over five million streams
(15:08):
across YouTube. People are loving the song. Right, how do
you feel about purchasing something that is AI an artist?
It could be a painting it could be music, could
be anything.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, well, I like that it was a lyricist that
put this together versus a kid.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
In his basement.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
It's like I'm going to make a hit song, you know,
So there's some talent that must be involved in making
it a hit. Not anybody can just jump on AI
and say if we went on there right now and
said make a hit song for me, would it be
as good as this one?
Speaker 4 (15:39):
It could be? And how do you feel about it that?
I wouldn't like it when it is your song, I
wouldn't like it. You're saying it has to be a
real musician who does this?
Speaker 3 (15:47):
What about you?
Speaker 4 (15:47):
I don't care if it's if it's something I love
I and I love hearing it. I don't necessarily care
what created it or how it was created because it's
bringing me joy. I do want full disclosure. I want
you to tell me upfront, by the way, this painting
was digitally created with AI or a chatbot or this song.
This voice you're hearing is an AI voice. Yeah, okay, great.
(16:10):
I also don't want to pay top dollar for those,
so you're.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Not gonna pay as much if it's AI.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
It's not like real money. Painting. It's a fake money voice,
you know, like it's there's a difference.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
All right.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I like this conversation that we started, and we love
when you joined the conversation. So we're gonna open up
the phone lines eight six six nine two seven four
three six one. Would you pay for AI arts, whether
it's a painting or music. We'll have your calls coming
up in just a little bit. But first we're getting
to our crazy first date.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Next, Meghan went on to a date to a Sabrina
Carpenter concert. This guy, let's just say, acted like a
man child. Oh wait till you find out what he did.
Coming up next is Toby and Chilly in the Morning continues.
Speaker 1 (16:55):

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Good morning, Megan. Thanks. We were listening to us on
the iHeartRadio app in Lynchburg. Go ahead and tell us
about this crazy first date.
Speaker 6 (17:07):
This guy messaged me on Instagram and he was in
a different state. I don't really know how we came
across my Instagram and then he would start just replying
to all my Instagram stories and send me stuff, and
then he'd be like, hey, we should meet. One day
we started texting he would send me pictures with him.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
We talked for a while.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
We knew about each other's families. He would talk to
me about his parents and everything. They would say hi,
and then we were like, when.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
Are we gonna meet?
Speaker 5 (17:32):
When are we gonna meet?
Speaker 6 (17:33):
When are we gonna meet? I'm like, oh, yeah, we
can figure something out. And she's like, I want to
buy you tickets to Sabrina Carpenter because I liked her
a whole lot at the time. And he bought tickets,
like four tickets for me, my friends, my sister and
him to go. And he flies in to get here.
We meet in the pit. He bought like front stage tickets.
(17:54):
I see him coming up and he comes and talks
me and he says hanging in and I was so hi.
He's like, oh right back. Then he disappears and I
never hear from him again.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
This guy that you had been talking to and planning
to meet for the first time for a year decides
to bail within seconds of meeting you in person.
Speaker 6 (18:15):
Yeah, I was like, what did I do?
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Did you try to reach out to him after the
show to find out if he was okay?
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Well, he had like blocked me. And then recently, I
saw a friend request from my Facebook and I just
kind of like, Nope.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
You're better than me. I would want answers.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
You know.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Even after that Facebook request that would have been like listen,
what the hell was that all about?
Speaker 6 (18:39):
I was like maybe secret family or something.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
I don't know. Well, Megan, just for sharing that crazy
first aid story, we would love to send you to
go see Lady Gaga at Capital one Arena March twenty third,
thanks to our friends' Live nation.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
So can't believe it.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
We hope that you have someone to go to this
concert with who will actually stay with you the whole time. Yes,
thank you appreciating And if you've got a crazy first
date story, it could mean tickets to go see Trans

thirtieth eight six six nine two seven four three six one.

We told you earlier about an AI artist who got

you feel about buying AI produced music or art. We're

I'm kiddo'she. We're talking about if you would buy AI
art eight six six nine two seven four three six one.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Here's why we're talking about it.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
An AI artist signed a multimillion dollar record deal. So
the song is sung by a chatbot that was created
even though the lyrics were written by a human, which
is and she's a lyricist. She is a lyricist.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
I don't care. I would pay for something I love.
I don't care who or what created it. That was
my take, But we wanted to know what your thoughts were.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Yeah, Derek, in rest In, I am one hundred against AI.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
HEYI is on the verge of taking away jobs and
now it's taking creativity from people, and I don't think
we should be going down that path. Well, I have
news for you, Derek. We're already down that path. It's
kind of hard to stick that back in the can,
so to speak.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Or is it and I agree with you, or is
it enhancing their creativity? This lyricist was able to then
create this artist and use her lyrics and get that
song out there and it was successful. So and that
way I look at it, is a good thing. Natalie
and Lanham, Welcome to the show.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Yes, I still buy it if I love how it looks.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
I don't care if it's painted or AI.
Speaker 4 (23:34):
I just wouldn't pay crazy.
Speaker 6 (23:35):
Money unless they're upfront about how it was made.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Oh, I agree. You got to disclose whether you're listening
to a song created by AI or art created by AI.
Let's not Millie Vanilli. This okay? Very show.
