Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand on ninety seven point
one WASHM.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's get it started in here at eight sixty six
nine two, seven forty three sixty one. Why are you
feeling good before five o'clock today? That is the question
here at ninety seven point one Wash FM with Toby
and Chili in the morning, Chili, what Scotch you feeling
good today?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Remember when my dog was sick last week and I
took her to the vet. Yes, they did a bunch
of blood work, suspected maybe pancreatite as well, it's nothing.
It was just probably viral and she'll be fine. All
the organs are fine. We just got to get through
the next day or two. I guess there you go.
Even dogs get viruses, that's right. They need to take

(00:42):
some meds to keep things well, not so loose.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
You know, I noticed that dogs take people drugs, you
know what I.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Mean, pepsid. I mean, it's funny.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
It's really odd to me. Like I'm like, I'm like,
wait a minute, this dog is taking taking what.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Don thought I was kidding? I said, no. They wanted
me to give her an acid in.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Case, you know, she was having some stomach acid issues.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
This is the real deal, not in the high dosage
that we take.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Oh no, no, what they want you to take people drugs,
And that to me makes me just shake my head
every time I'm int the vet, I'm like, really, why
are you feeling I'm feeling great today because Apple's going
to announce a bunch of new stuff. And if you remember,
I said that I was going to pass on the
new phone, and I passed on the new phone, and

(01:34):
so we'll see today if my suspicion was right that
I should just wait. Okay, you know, so I'm just
kind of excited, you know how I get with tech.
It's not the dog being sick or anything, and it's
not really like I need it, but I've been waiting
on it, and so we'll find out today. It'll be

(01:56):
like pre sale starts on Friday and they'll ships in
a month, you know, or something like that, So you
won't be able to have it right out of the gate,
but that's later on today around one. Lots of new announcements.
Hold on to your wallet just in time for Christmas.
Toby and Chilly in the morning, it's ninety seven point one.

to earn her a viral moment and millions of views online.
Good for her because she certainly had experience having kids.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Eight sixty six, nine two, seven, forty three sixty one

that is worse than lego bricks in your bare feet? Chili?

Speaker 3 (07:28):

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I immediately realized what happened, and I hopped to the
bathroom as soon as I could.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
What about you?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Mine is not as stinky, say, is that story? But
I was a kid in Texas and I went on
a boating trip with some neighbors and I was in
my bare feet and I was standing like on you know,
like one of those boat slips where you put boats
in the water, and I guess I stepped on a
rock or something because it sliced my foot like right

(08:10):
through the arch. And yeah it was no bueno. Yeah,
needless to say, I didn't do any barefoot skiing that day.
What was the worst thing that you stepped on in
your bare feet? Leslie, good morning, Thank you for listening
in Germantown. Go ahead, a barbie shoe.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
It's sharp enough to punct to your soul.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
The worst is when your kid is right there and
he almost let out a curse word.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Look, Leslie, sometimes you gotta use those words to let
it all out.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
The kids are gonna just have to learn.

It was like ten years ago, but I can still
feel it under my feet. It was probably the grossest
thing I've ever stepped on. I would much rather it
have been a lego.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
I would agree with that one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Well, for some people paying for other people, it's a
disgusting sort of a situation.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yes, that's right. I'd rather take aw over.

(12:45):
having interesting conversations if you will with chat GPT.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Sexting say the word sexting with chat GPT.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Yes, nervous about saying texting well I'll do it. That's okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
And we also mentioned that a majority of people would
consider it cheating, and we asked you, guys, what you
thought about it and talk about is poppin.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Hot's Alby and Chili, it's Gary in DC.

Speaker 7 (13:09):
Honestly, I think if you use chat GPT for those
extracurricular activities, I think it is a little bit cheating
because if you're not meeting each other halfway in that sense,
or if you're not open and honest with your communication
about it, Yeah, it is cheating, plain and.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Simple, Plain and simple, he says.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
I love that Gary wanted to give his two cents
on the whole matter, and I think the majority of
people who shared their thoughts with us agree with that. Like,
you know, what, if you're going to be stepping out,
stepping out even with AI still not okay.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
You know he didn't say sex thing either.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I think, yes, I noticed maybe guys just don't like
that word.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
I think it makes us a little nervous extracurricular activities.
Speaking of which, Helby.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
And Chili's nearly impossible question.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
And in this extracurriculum exercise, what is the question this morning?

Speaker 3 (14:03):
One thousand eight hundred eighty eight. That's the number of
people who make up the world record for this what
is it?

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Quick? Google it?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Eight sixty six ninety two, seven forty three sixty one.
Here's a little more time to hop on the Google.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
One thousand eighty eight.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
That's the number of people who make up the world
record for this what is it?

Speaker 2 (14:24):
I'd say chat GPT, but you might get a little distracted.
If you want to see Maroon five tickets could be
yours right now. Eight sixty six ninety two, seven forty
three sixty one thanks to Live Nation. That's the number
tickets up for grabs. Now, if you get that question correct,
your nearly impossible question is on Toby.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
And Chilli's nearly impossible question.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Go ahead and hit me with that question one more time, please, there, Chilliam,
Are there are people who might have missed it?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
One thousand eighty eight that's the number of people who
make up the world record for this what is it?

Speaker 2 (14:58):

the guests for these tickets?

Speaker 4 (15:27):
The most passengers ever carry on a single aircraft. Woo,
look at you.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
With the Google fingers. Wow, you know what.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
I didn't even think about it too.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
You said it.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, thereat to Google Chat GPT. There are a million
ways to dominate this game. Now, if you feel like
you want to cheat, some people might, but you know what,
it's not cheating if you win.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
We didn't say how you got the answer as long
as you got the correct answer. And you did get
the correct answer, Yes you did. Congratulations, Thank you, And.

What are the rules? What's the etiquette for the line

run in and while you were at the self checkout recently,
I was accused.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Of cutting, and I don't know if that's true or not.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
I'll write that story on the way and minutes and

(20:32):
wash up them Toby and Chilly in the Morning, and
Chili had an interesting experience over the weekend at a
grocery store, and it might be an experience that we've
all encountered before. Chili, if you will please, I.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Was accused of cutting in line, and you know how
I feel about line cutters, so I don't take this lightly.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Here's the situation.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
We're in a line that feeds into various self checkouts.
In front of me is a woman with her cart.
She walked away from her cart, Toby, and then a
checkout opened, so I waited a beat and then I
went ahead to that open checkout. Well, she comes running
up to me and says, excuse me, there's a line here,

(21:18):
and I said yes, but you weren't there, she said,
but my cart was, and I was just standing nearby.
And I said, well, I wouldn't have known that, and
I could tell she wasn't letting it go, so I did,
and I said, okay, fine, and I walked back and
I got back in line, and she went ahead of me.
I just sat there, going, wait, am I wrong here?

(21:41):
Or am I right here? Do you think that I
was wrong for going ahead even though her cart was there.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
As a judge, I would say you were in the right.
She was in the wrong. And here's how why I
would say that you left your cart there, ma'am. When
you left your cart, you abandoned your place in line.
Therefore you abandoned your position. Thank you, Judge Toby, that's
right signing with me, I find with you on this occasion. Now,

(22:11):
I will.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Say, we've all had those moments where we had to
step away from our carts to grab that one more thing,
no matter how far away it is. But I know
that that comes with the risk of losing my place.
So I'm not judging her for stepping away. I'm just
annoyed that she insisted that just because her cart was there,
she should go ahead.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Of me entitled or is she not entitled? Maybe you
know which side is the right side if you were
to be the judge in this situation, in fact, you
know what go to talk back right now if you're
signed in listening to us on your iHeart app, how
do you find in this case? Do you find for

(22:53):
Chilly who says you know what? You abandoned the cart?

Talk back is wide open teps we can send. We
can't wait to hear how you would rule in this case.
Your response is coming up and just minutes though. First

She heard the story she left her cart there and
ran off. Chili jumped the line.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
I didn't leave my cart. Somebody else left that.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
That's what I meant. Yes, And so Chili's, you know,
feeling some sort of way this morning, because you know
she was given some drama. Well, you've got thoughts and
we can't wait to hear them. Talkback has been hopping
this morning, and if you want to join the conversation,
make sure you're logged into your iHeart app, tap speak
and send your thoughts and be the judge, the judge

(27:03):
and the jury. And we'll get to this coming up next.
It's like a Creed song Quorazan Sash. The verdicts are
rolling into talk Back, Toby Untilly in the morning ninety
seven point one. Watch at them. We made you the
judge in this situation. Chili at a grocery store in line,

(27:23):
and then the drama ensued.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
The woman in front of me had stepped away from
her cart, and so when the self checkout opened, I
went ahead. Then she chased me down and said, excuse me,
I was next in line, and I reminded her that
she wasn't at her cart, but she insisted that didn't matter.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Who's right and who's wrong. Talkback is wide open for
this one tap speak and send. If you're signed into
our iHeart app right now, it's real easy to use.
You can speak out and join the conversation and let
us know your thoughts. You're the judge this case in
front of you, and we'll start with Candace, who's in Springfield. Candace,

(28:06):
your take on Chili's situation in line.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this, and
it sounds.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Like the woman was just using her cart to hold.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Her place in line while she grabs something.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
I've done that, but all the time you get up
in line, you realize that you forgot that one small item,
so you just run back and get it, leave your
cart there to hold your place in line.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
By the time you get back.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
It's return with the register. I don't think she did
anything wrong.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Candace is not in favor of Chili's jumping the line
at Chili. Your thoughts on Candace's decision.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
You know, I respect her thoughts, but Honestly, I think
that if you are not where your cart is, then
I can't be sitting there waiting all day for you
to come back.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Now, Eric and silver Spring, put on your judicial robes.
It's time for your judgment. In this case, Chili right
or wrong in the grocery store in line they chilie.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
I agree.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
I hate it when people do that, when they leave
their carts a hold their place in line or to
take them that there's a cart with somebody's stuff in it,
I don't feel comfortable moving it. But if the person's
not there, I shouldn't have to wait behind in heart.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
For somebody who may or may not show up.

Speaker 8 (29:13):
So yeah, you know, I think you should have been
next in line. You if she got out of line,
Sorry if you forgot something, you know, but go back
wait your turn again.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
You know, That's what the rest of us do. And
in the above entitled action, what is the final ruling
of the court?

Speaker 7 (29:32):
Out of order?
