Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today is going to feel like a Friday all day
and that's a good thing. Hi, there, Toby and Chilly
in the morning on ninety seven point one watch FM.
You gotta be feeling good because for most people, today's
the end of the week. However, I want to acknowledge
our first responders, law enforcement, people who work at hospitals
who will be working through the fourth of July to
keep us safe just in case. So thank you guys
(00:23):
in advance of today's show for everything that you do
and continue to do and will do. So Chilly, why
are you feeling good this morning?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I have more energy than I probably should this morning
because the town of Vienna's fireworks were last night and
I don't live too far from where they are, and
boy did they have a nice display, at least hearing
it over several blocks.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
But over the last few years, that boom's kept you up.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Well, the last few years, it hasn't. They started moving
it early and earlier in the week, Toby, Sure, and
in the last couple of years, I've taken this week
off right because it's like a gimme day in there, Like, yeah,
this year I didn't, but that's on me. That's fine,
but I'm still grateful that I'm awake, like I have energy,
even though I didn't get to sleep until about ten somethings.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Wow, you were like ten something. I was kind of
at the same ballpark falling asleep last night. But I
will say that I did sleep on the couch a
little bit. I fell asleep watching the Thunderbolts movie that
had still streaming on you. My daughter comes to wake
me up and she's like, you know, she trying to
talk to me while I'm like literally half asleep. So
(01:38):
all I know is that it was It was nonsensical,
but it was a moment between my daughter and I
because she's like, are you okay? You know, I love you.
I just want you to know. I had choices of
a you know, I could have gone to mom after graduation,
but I wanted to come be with you and.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
All because you fell asleep on the couch.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
You know, everybody worries about me with health stuff, but
more often if your daughter's going to become absolutely I'm like,
you're like the human alarm clock. I love it so funny. Anyway,

overzealous and he'd take two mortars together, let's just stay
when they went off, they went on the roof and
we had to put out a fire and had a
visit from these fire stations that night.

One time we went to one of those roadside fireworks
stores where they saw like all sorts of the weird
barkways and fireworks, and we bought one that was supposed
to be a huge with a big explosion. So we
bought it and we went to set it off in
the park and then we did, but it was apparently
illegal to do fireworks there, so the cops came and
(14:54):
it turned into a big thing and they had to
like close the area down.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
It was just a really disaster, Jammy. It would have
been a much bigger disaster if you had started a
forest fire.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Remember what Smokey Bear used to say, Only you can
prevent forest fires.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
Shelby and Chili's nearly impossible question.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Forty one percent of Americans will attend one of these
this year. What do you think it is?
Speaker 1 (16:12):
I don't know the answer, but over in Arlington, Joe,
good morning, you might know the answer. You've got the question,
what do you think it is? Is it a July
or fireworks display?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Now, Joe, is that something you plan on seeing this year?
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Not on the mall, not too busy, too crazy. I
hear you on that, you know nothing, not taking anything
away from a Capitol fourth They're great, but I hear
you on a lot of people think.

a key procedural vote to move the president's massive spending
bill forward, so it now heads to a final vote
this morning, and that's just one step away from the
President's desk. The PEDAGA and says recent US strikes have
set Iran's nuclear program back by nearly two years. That's
(18:07):
a more optimistic outlook than that of UN inspectors, and
according to spokesman Sean Parnell, three major nuclear sites were
heavily damaged. A twenty one year old college student in
turning for Kansas Congressman Ron Estes, was killed in a
shooting Monday night in Northwest d c. Eric Tarpini and
jajaqu Jakim died after being taken to the hospital, and

Chilly and I have some confessions to make and we
are sure you might have the same problem. We do
lots of clothing that we own way too much of.
Think about that. Call to get involved. It's on the way.
Stay with us, Toby and Chili in the morning. Ninety
seven point one wash FM Question for you. Is there
(20:14):
an article of clothing you have way too much of?
Eight six, six, nine two, seven forty three sixty one
is the number we want to hear from you, or

voice note. I bring this up Chili because just this week,
my significant other was over with the dogs. She came
back to pick them up, and she goes, what's this
(20:36):
box from Amazon? And I'm like, what some black shirts?
She's like, more black shirts.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
It's important to know that she spent an awful long
time organizing your closet and called you out many months
ago for having too many black shirts? So why did
you buy more?
Speaker 1 (20:52):
I got like this summer like moisture wicking kind.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Oh so they're different than the many others that you
already have.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Get loose, that's right. So I think that puts me
close to sixty black shirts, probably in between my closet
and then the shelves. And then I have a lot
of black shirts.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
And I really have no business bust in your chops
because mine is jeans. I have easily forty pair and
I don't even think the average person has even ten.
Like do you go and beyond?
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Do you go to Tyson's and just go nuts when
it comes to jeans, because I know that you live
close to Tysons, or do you?
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Mostly recently, anytime I see something on sale, I can't
resist it online and I'll order like a couple of
different sizes and return the ones that don't fit. But
I don't need more jeans. Really. I know they're different
fits or different cuts. But at the end of the day,
forty come.
Speaker 1 (21:47):

Cool wearing ties, and now I have a lunch of
omen and I probably couldn't even give them away if
I wanted to.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Well, Ryan, you should hold on to them because they'll
come back in style someday.
Speaker 1 (22:07):

Oh you mean flatulence, but that's not what was causing
a stink.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Well, we'll sniff around and hear her story.

Speaker 9 (22:49):
My aunt decided to set us up and I had
just moved to Utah. He decided to go to his house.
I guess as a date. So we went to his
house and watched TV and this was a blind date.
And then the whole time I kept thinking, my goodness,
this guy is super weird. I thought he was farting
the whole time, and it just stalked so bad. And
(23:13):
turns out that in Utah, where we lived, if the
weather was like coming by just right then it would
kind of waft over from the Salt Lake, the Great
Salt Lake, and the Great Salt Lake smelled like ful fur,
so that was actually what was smelling. But still, I mean,
the guy took me to his house and then he stunk.
I thought so I.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Never spoke from ever again. But your dnt set you
up with this person? Did she ever ask like why
you didn't give him another chance? Or did he ever
try reaching out to you? He never called.
Speaker 9 (23:45):
No, the whole thing was a mess.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Forget about the rest of the date, forget about calling
him again, forget about the fact that Jeria sets you up.
He smelled something smelled, and you were never going back again.
Speaker 9 (23:56):
Nope, I wasn't. My dad and I had a pretty
good laugh whenever we discovered that what I thought I
was smelling.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Was actually the great Salt Lake. So I'm glad you
moved back to this area.
Speaker 1 (24:07):

have to deal with that smell. You just got other stinches.
