Darby in Gaithersburg & The Bowling Date Blunder

Darby in Gaithersburg called in with a dating story that had us cringing and cracking up! Imagine showing up for a fun night of bowling... only to realize someone forgot to bring money. 😬 Was it a simple mistake or a sneaky test?

It's tell me and Chilli's clean first Darby, good morning,
and welcome Chilian. I can't wait to hear this crazy
first date story. You've got to lay it on ut.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
So I tried a new dating website and there was
this one guy that seemed pretty cool and we talked
a lot. He asked me out a couple days later
on a bowling date, and when he came and got me,
he seems really cool, very polite. We got to the
bowling alley and then when it comes time to pay
and they tell us the price, he turns to me

(00:31):
and he goes, I didn't bring any money with me,
Oh good lord. Well luckily I had my wallet with me,
so I ended up paying. But thinking in my head,
I was like, you're the one that asked me out
and you didn't bring money. Okay, this is starting off strange.
Now we started playing. It was weird at first, and
then we got to talking again. Everything seemed fun. We

were having fun, and then on the way home we
started talking again and I asked him about his interest.
He did nothing, but we're he had no other interest.
And then when it came down to the music and
the TV shows that we talked about earlier. He just
was He didn't really listen to the music very much,
he didn't watch the TV shows very much. He didn't
really know what I was talking about, and from there

it just got awkwards.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
So he was just faking liking those things for a
chance to see you in person and hope to win
you over that way.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Oh yeah, he.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Did not throw a strike, no pun intended.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Aha, yep, nope, or he struck out.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Oh that's a different sport. That's different sports, right right, sorry, sorry,
it's a bowling thing, you know. Yes, all the pins
are still standing.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Oh my goodness, and so is Darby because she realized
this guy was a clown. Thanks Darby, And if you've
