Speaker 1 (00:05):
And when I woke up this morning, I was feeling
pretty dangerous for anas tonight. It's my cornerback. No your
role and shut your mouth, your brodie. They are who
we thought they were. We let about you play to
win the gate. They want you to cook the dinner.
At least they ought to let you shout for summer groceries.
And on the way up, we're gonna buy the kneecap
(00:26):
off playoffs. You're kidding me. I'm just here so I
won't get fine. How could he not be romantic about football?
Welcome to Batch. I don't know if you caught that.
A new little slipping there my trave that still makes
me want to run through a dame wall. Folks, guys,
(00:49):
I am coming at you, Hi from Arizona. We're on
radio row. Okay, so we're basically just in this gigantic
room filled with people making the content for your ears,
in your in your eyes. Okay, this is where it happens.
This is where the magic happens. Um. I don't know
even tell by my voice that I have been in
(01:10):
Arizona for a few days at this point. We had
NFL owners last night, which was a dang blast. I
got to host the Red Carpet, and you know, the
Red Carpets always kind of just like insane. You don't
really know who you're gonna get. You can like plan
as much as you possibly can, but you at the
end of the day, you're gonna get. Oh you get
(01:31):
and and just god, hope you know something about him. Okay,
because it's live television. Um, but it got a little chaotic,
and you know, we are supposed to get George Kittle. Oka,
George Kittle's actually going to these other people now, Okay,
were supposed to get so that person's going to the
other people now. So I was like, oh my god,
I'm losing all my guys. I'm losing all my heavy hitters.
But then Justin Jefferson shows up, Aaron Jones shows up,
(01:55):
Brian Dable shows up, all Garrett Wilson shows up, all
the guys that ended up winning these like huge awards
last night. We were the ones that snacked up. We
got them all, baby. So here are some of my
favorite moments from the Red Carpet of NFL Honors. Take
a listen. Okay, I am feeling very honored. I feel
(02:18):
like I am with one of the biggest stars, if
not the biggest star on the carpet tonight, the one
and only Missus, Donna Kelsey. How are you? I'm doing good? Really? Yeah?
How many cups of coffee have you had today? Because
you are here, you are there. How are you feeling? Yeah?
A couple of cups. It's really good. It's really surreal.
It's kind of fun. I'm usually in the background, my
(02:40):
kids are in the forefront, so this is a little different.
I heard you got to maybe go to a Marian
on press confronts, so I got to see that. It
was awesome. I got to see her, I got to
see you know, everyone else on that DA so it
was really neat, so awesome. I mean, this has got
to feel who so wild to have not one boy,
but both of your boys in the Super Bowl. I mean,
(03:01):
have you taken a second to like process this? I
don't think you can. You know, all of a sudden
Sunday happens, and you got two weeks to get ready packed,
get to the Super Bowl, to get to Arizona, and
it's it's just a whirlwind. It's really fun. I'm having
a good time. It's really everybody's treating you so well,
and it's just really, really fun. I'm so happy to
hear that we saw that you presented your boys with
(03:22):
some cookies on opening nights. So listen, we want to
make sure that mom's taken care of. We've got our
own homemade cookies, not homemade for our Mom of the Year.
And I hope my mom's not listening. Rita. I love you,
and you can also take home your very own award.
You are the best mind you so much. I really
appreciate it. Thank thanks for coming. Thank you. Okay, I'm
(03:46):
hanging out with Aaron Jones. I mean from the shoes,
the watch, the hat, the sunglasses. I did say where
is your sombrero? And the answer is what where is it?
So I debated. I bought it, I put in the
car and I was like, uh no, what I'm gonna
wait till I'll play on the super Bowl to bring
it to the Super Bowl, Sir. I love that answer. Okay,
so you're here, you're representing in Visiligne, you're nominated for
(04:07):
Walter Peyton Man of the Year. Tell me more about that.
Is there a charity that you work with? Oh? Yes,
me and my family, Na, we have our own charity.
Ana All the Way Foundation, and it goes back to
to the youth underserved communities children, not just children underserved communities,
but children in general. And then we work with military
families as well. That's amazing. Well, great job by you.
(04:30):
I gotta ask you. Somebody you may know is headed
into a four day darkness retreat? Could you ever do that? Liked?
Could you ever join him in something like that? I'm
talking about Aaron Rodgers, by the way. I mean I could.
That's my boy. So I try it, but I don't
know how long I would last in it. I don't
think I would last at all. Is he Is he
coming back? I gotta ask you. Is Aaron Rodgers coming
(04:51):
back next year? I think he'll be back. I hope
he's back. He's our one of our he's our leader,
you know. So um, he's a great player, he's been
there forever, so I hope he's back. Can I enjoy
playing with him? Absolutely? Okay, I'm in the middle of
my invisiliine process, so I'm not going to show off
my teeth. I've been trying to hide them all night.
But you're there, baby, Let's see those things. Let me
see that smart When the process too. Looking good. It's
(05:11):
looking good, Aaron, Thanks so much for joining us, and
good luck next year and good luck tonight. Okay, listen,
I don't want to play any favorites here, but this
is I think my favorite coach in the NFL. And
you were up for Coach of the Year. Brian Davel.
How are you feeling tonight? Are you excited? Yeah? This
is a great events. My first time here. You know,
It's been a good couple of days from my wife
(05:32):
and my kids, and I'll be finish it off tonight.
So you're a finalist for this award. I mean, se
Quon Barkley is also nominated for Comeback Player of the
of the Year. What do you think this says about
the Giants this year? Well, it's really all about the players,
you know. I'm, you know, just one part of the
spoke of the wheel. Those guys did a really good job.
They're the reason why I'm here for tonight, and I
really appreciate them. Okay, So I got we got to
(05:54):
talk about something because he came up here and you
said hi, Rachel, So I was like, oh, he already
knows who I am. I've been happening on Halloween. I'll
let you watch this your thoughts and your feelings, sir, well,
I think i'd like to be as thin as you.
Beard is solid dance moves. I'd give him an eight
out of ten. So you know, look, that's a that's
(06:14):
a sweet live ass costume right there. Thank you very much.
I'll take it. And you know, because you're such a
great sport, I want to give you my favorite Coach
of the Year award. There you go, show it off,
put it on your trophy. Shoot, that's great. And this
is why I came here tonight, Rachel, because I've seen
you have one or two of these little cigar for
perhaps once you celebrate tonight. Yeah, I appreciate that very much.
(06:35):
I didn't bring one, so that'd be hopefully come in handy.
There you go. Thank you so much for your time.
I really appreciate and thanks for putting up with me.
And it did come in handy. It did come in handy.
Becau probably table coach of the year. It was so fun.
I literally when they announced his name, I screamed, I
stood up, I collapsed. And then on the way out,
(06:59):
I was coming, I was going to the bathroom, and
he was coming down the stairs. I was coming up
the stairs right after he won, and I went ahead
and he was like, and we have a nice little moment.
I got to celebrate with him afterwards, which was very
very cool. What a fun night. NFL honor is such
a blast. And then I think, arguably my favorite moment
(07:19):
how to be hanging out with friend of the pod.
He came on bench with Bonetta a year ago when
we were in LA four. Last year's Super Bowl, Justin
Jefferson was nominated for Hella Awards last night. Won a
bunch to take a look at my interview with him. Okay,
I am so excited we have Justin Jefferson here. You
(07:41):
are nominated for MVP, You're nominated for Offensive Player of
the Year, presented by Microsoft Service. Talk to me how
you are feeling. You look great everything, Tell me everything.
You look good too, by the way, And I mean,
I'm just feeling great. Good to be here, good to
be honored for the things that I've been doing for
this year. And I'm just going to continue to do that.
(08:02):
You know, I'm just going to continue to try to
get better and better each year, and uh, you know,
hopefully I can win an award tonight. Now. I saw
you last year. You came on my podcast and I
could feel your vibe. You were upset, and I was like, justin,
what's going on? Man? And You're like, I'm not the
super Bowl, but I'm not of the super Bowl for
the right reasons. And you're back here. You are nominated
for all of these things. But tell me how you're feeling.
I know you want to get into this game. Oh
(08:24):
for sure. I mean it. It's something that's hard to do.
You know, not everybody gets to be able to say
they played even played in the super Bowl. So I mean,
it's my time will come, you know. I feel like
everything happens for a reason. You know, things will be
set up in place. Uh, you know if God got
that plant from me. Okay, listen, I've been working on
this all year. If you could hold these please, I
(08:45):
gotta I gotta show you my gritty and I'm so
sorry that I have to do it on national television.
Can you hold this and critique it? Please? Okay, Hey, Fob,
Hey Fob, that was really good. You've been practicing, can
show can you show me how it's come on? Let's go,
let's go. Hey, Oh, thank you good luck. I love
(09:12):
that guy. I love that guy. For the record. Okay,
I was like, I can't get I can't gritty in
from Justin RUMs and I can't ask him to do it.
But in my ear, you know, you wear a little
IFB for these live shows, and they're kind of I've
got somebody talking to me in my ear the entire time.
They were like, do the gritty gritty, just dat it,
and I was like, okay, take one of the team.
(09:32):
I'll do it. Uh, guys, that was NFL Owners. It
was such a fun night. Patrick Mahomes took home MVP.
Kelly Clarkson, by the way, killed it as a host.
It was a very funny show. I very much enjoyed
the entire thing. Okay, coming up, after they break another star,
we'll be joining our set from Radio Row Brett Michaels. Okay,
ever heard of them? That's right, we're gonna be talking
(09:55):
about Super Bowl fifty seven. What's the one and only
a rock Stars go anyway? Okay, big guest alert, we
(10:20):
got Brett Michaels on the show. Yes, so much for
hanging out. Thank you for having me. Okay, I was
just asking where your chiefs fan are you an Eagles fan?
You've you've got a little bit of a history, tell
me about it. So I'm an NFL fan football, right.
Let me say this. I grew up in Pittsburgh, so
obviously I've made it very publicly known. I'm a Stillers fan. Okay, right,
(10:41):
Pittsburgh Stillers from the word go. But the Eagles now,
coming from Pennsylvania, I think the Eagles look insanely great, Jail,
and then you go down to all my friends are
here from Kansas City, so they're giving me a hard time.
So I love Kansas right. Let me say this, I'm
betting on one thing. It's going to be an insanely
great match, high scoring, high take the day off, I'm
(11:04):
telling you right now, you get Patrick out there, everyone
keeps saying, oh, we might be injured. This is let
me tell you he is a warrior, Yeah, Jailen warrior.
Kelsey versus Kelsey. Come on, don't you love that story?
Fired up? They're the best guys, right, Um, So what
you just told me that football and music saved your life?
What do you what do you mean by that? So
six years old, I grew up in a small town
(11:26):
in Pennsylvania. My dad's a veteran, right, and uh so
we moved around a bit and I got diagnosed as
a diabetic at the age of six years old. Right,
So here I am. I'm a kid, love sports, love music.
I'm taking five or six shots a day, right and
trying to find that balance. And I just chose at
(11:47):
that point in my life to be victorious rather than
a victim. Yeah, you know, that's the way my parents there.
It's in the blood, right, and so using that sports,
all sports, you know, especially football, but all sports and
music came together for me in the perfect marriage. And
I wrote a whole song about it. It's called back
(12:07):
in the Day. It just came out, just came out,
but it's the whole thing is showing then to now
how it was therapeutic for me and say my life.
That's beautiful. Thank you for real. You're welcome. I know that.
You also wrote another song, get your Game all right,
get Chuck Game on, which was airing on it is
airing on Good Morning Football. What is that all about?
So get your Game on? I wrote this for Good
(12:30):
Morning Football, big fan of you, the show everything. So
it's just just bound bound down. It's just I call
it It's just a powerful song. It shows what I love.
Music is a universal language. Yeah, unites us, not divides us.
But it has got so many great hits on the
guitar and drums that you can edit to it. So
(12:51):
when someone's getting tackled hard someone, it's an incredible array.
It's the kind of song I can already tell. It's
kind of song and I'm gonna want to run through
a wall after. That's what it is. The song will
make you run through a wall. Okay, I'm sure you
got this a lot. You're like, man, can you listen
to my demo tape? Like I've really got something special.
We're gonna do that to you here, please do Okay.
(13:12):
I wrote a song, okay, super Bowl about the third
Kelsey brother that no one knows about. It is this right,
let's have it. Let's have a listen. Roll it heard.
There's big gaming down. I got a story you might
find interesting. It goes a little something like this. On
(13:41):
the dark side of the desert with the Super Bowls
to be blade, Someone's waiting in the wings to join
this big barade. You say it's the Bowl of Brothers,
but that's just not quite right. Someone you don't know
about it. Man, there's no cas Bye. He's the third
(14:01):
Kelsey brother. His name is a Rafael. He works for UPLA,
the Seals Cooper Winner and man, he sells it well.
He may not have the muscle, and he may not
have the might. He may not be going to the
Hall of fame. And I'll tell you he's doing all right?
Could it be? And the brothers are just joans and
(14:24):
told everyone that he is. Could it be? The disappointed
because all the girls they love kids? Hello? Who is this?
(14:49):
Is that? Rafael? That sounds like Raphael? You don't call us,
we call you. You're embarrassing us, Rafael? What happened? Are
you asking your friend? I asked the same. The run
to the litter can always be a wider, even if
you share the same last name. He's the third Kelsey brother.
Doesn't care about the fame. Who needs to win in
(15:09):
a super Bowl when you're top of the tupperware? Get good?
It be? The brothers are just jealous and told everyone
that he don't exist. Couldn't be? Then they're disappinted because
all the girls they've loved, he's already kids. Girls they've
(15:33):
love He's already kids. Why would he Why would he
reach out, especially this week? I don't know. He sees
all the attention Mom's getting and he's trying to get
in a mom selfish. He's always coming in at the
wrong moment. It's a hit. I'm sorry, but I've listened
(15:57):
to a lot of music in my day. Wow, there's
a lot of it that you need to push away.
But that, if I'm not mistaken, that is a surefire hit. Wow,
now that I've been exposed to that, there is a
third Kelsey brother. Yeah, who knew? Right? Who knew? Where
you got this? He's making moves, he's got He's incredible, incredible,
(16:18):
shout out. I made that song with my brother. That's amazing.
In like twenty four hours. You tell your brother the video,
the song incredible, everything was great, right, it was what
a staff of approval smash. Okay, I gotta get your
pick real quick. Can you can you even here we go?
Can you can you separate yourself from your friends, your history?
I could separate myself. Here's my pick right as I
(16:40):
come in here as a conissur of the game of
the NFL, of the of the amazing game of football.
I said that I made a quote this morning. I
said that the Super Bowl was like Christmas morning with cleats. Right,
It's like the best day ever super Bowls incredible. I
have a tough time for this Rea and as a
(17:00):
Steelers fan, I look at the Chiefs at Patrick. This
guy's been here, done it, rocks it incredible. There's nothing
knocking him out of this game. He's a Warrior, right,
the Kelsey Brothers. Then you go over to see Jail
and the Eagles, and grown up in Pennsylvania, I know
their mentality. I know that. Never say Diamond Tauty, both
coaches incredible, you know what I mean. So my prediction
(17:24):
is it's going to be an insane, great super Bowl.
That's it. I am with you. I am having such
a hard time picking this game. And honestly, we truly
did end up with the two best teams, two best teams.
So it's like, somebody's got to win the game, and
that's fine with me. Whoever it is you got. And
I say this, here's the thing. I think what we're
gonna see as I think we're gonna see. I think
(17:44):
a prediction high scoring game. I think you're gonna see
Warrior go against Warrior, and they're pretty evenly matched, you
know what I mean. It's not like a landslide on
this side or that in my opinion. So but I
think I think Jayalen can taste it. I think Patrick's
been there and he what I love about Patrick. It's
the same thing I've said about Tom Brady. They're still
as fired up now as they were then. Totally. I
(18:06):
love Pat still means the exact same as it did
when it wasn't the first one. That's it. That's me
me with music. Me I'm saying. But I'm as excited
to talk to you now today and play music or
play the stadium as I was when I first started.
Love that Rihanna halftime you're looking forward to. I can't wait.
She's gonna She's going to kill and I said, for
any reason. She has a twisted ankle. I don't know
(18:28):
how you're ready to go. I'm right here, yep, I'm ready.
You probably pull off. You mean your brothers. Okay, I
play like the tammerin or something in the back. You're
gonna be amazing. Okay, Brett, thank you so much for
your time. Enjoy the super Bowl. I will guys coming
after the break. I'm gonna pick the game. I have
to do. I will make you do it. I will
pick the game. Okay, let's take on this business abilities.
(18:49):
Thank you for having me. We'll get all right. Let's
get into the Super Bowl preview presented by draft Kings
(19:09):
sports Book. We're gonna look into some player props ahead
of Sunday and focus on some of the big name
pass catchers. He guys, guess what, There's gonna be a
lot of passes caught. We're thinking a pretty high scoring game, folks.
The over under for A J. Brown receiving yards is
set at seventy nine and a half and plus one twenty.
Brown hasn't topped twenty eight receiving yards this postseason. Okay,
(19:31):
very interesting. Travis Kelsey's over under for receiving yards checks
in at seventy four and a half and minus one thirty.
Kelsey's top that number in each of his playoff games
this season, so it's feeling pretty good. Odds for Kelsey
to score at touchdown a set at minus one twenty.
I actually have him getting the first touchdown. First touchdown score.
You can grab the same game parlay over at Drafting
sports Book for plus four hundred. That was the Super
(19:54):
Bowl preview presented by Drafting Sports Book. Look, guys, I
gotta pick the game. I have been wishy washy all week.
I truly feel like we have gotten we just lucked
out with this. Well, we do have the two best
teams playing in this Super Bowl, and I know the
Eagles are favored by minus one and a half, but
I am going the Kansas City Chiefs. I feel like
(20:17):
they are just They're like they're the new Patriots, They're
the new Tom Brady. You just don't bet against them. Okay,
They've been the same way for the past few years.
Patrick Mahome, we were on boot Watch a couple of
weeks ago. We were watching his every move being like,
oh my god, you hurt himself. It's not gonna be
able to play. It's not gonna be able to be
Patrick Mahomes went up there, beat the Bengals, got the
job done. Now he's in the Super Bowl. He's had
two weeks stay heel. He's got wolverine blood or what
(20:39):
a Who said that they had wolverine blood one time,
Rustles and I can't remember. It was weird. Patrick Mobs
is gonna be fine. He's gonna win MVP. The Chiefs
are going to win the Super Bowl back in Kansas
City for a crazy parade. I want to see Travis
Kelsey repeating his epics speech from a couple of years ago.
It's gonna be awesome. Drafting sports Book and official sports
