Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
Michael Bumpus.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Playfake, go to roll right, dumps it off into the
right flasf to Michael Bumpers, who bounces off a one
tackler gets inside the forty down of the thirty five
yard line.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Powered by Seahawks dot Com.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Matt pumpfake's looking at the god line. He throws it
into the en zone.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Touchdown. Say Hawks, it's Michael Bumpas with a diving catch
in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
A ten yard touchdown reception for Bumpus, and the kid
out of Washington State has found himself a place on
this team.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Now here's your host, Nasa Chovie.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Welcome back to another edition of Hawk Talk.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
The Seahawks coming off an electric win over the Philadelphia
Eagles on Monday Night Football, beating them twenty to seventeen.
The streak is over. Bumped good times. We're back here
at the Virginia Mason Athletics Center. Things are good, and man,
it just it felt really good to watch this team
finally go out there do what I knew they could
do in primetime in a game they absolutely had to
have against a great Eagles team. In the fashion that

(00:59):
they Drew Locke and everybody that had to step up
on that final drive to get this done.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Bump.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
After you've had the dust is settled a couple of
days gone by, what were your main takeaways from the
Eagles game and how you feeling about this team kind
of moving forward?

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Man, I'm just you don't know what you got till
it's gone and missed a lot of wins, so I'm
glad they're back in the win column. Makes life easier
for them and for us as well. Covering the team,
I saw a resilient team, a team that had a
backup quarterback do his thing. Drew was twenty two or
thirty three to two, eight and one touchdown, the most
crucial touchdown.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
At the end of the game.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
I saw you seem rush for one hundred yards for
the first time since what the Commanders I believe it
was Yep, they are now six and zh wh they
rest for one hundred yards. I saw Kenneth Walker make
some amazing plays. My favorite one was probably that throw
it to the flat on third down. He makes a
couple of guys miss boom. We saw DK be clutch.
We saw this defense defend the pass pretty good. Still

(01:53):
gave up a a buck seventy eight on the ground,
but you get more exposive plays in the past game.
So get that and go, okay, there's a plus there.
Let's work on the run, but a big win. Playoffs
are still alive. Let's go get it. Love it, and
you know the other thing. The two things I'll say
about the Eagles game that I love. The Seahawks defensive
struggled defensively against you know, the Niners and Cowboys, things

(02:14):
like that. But to hold the Eagles to seventeen points,
I don't care if Jalen Hurts was sick or not.
It's still a good thing because they got dogs over there.
You hold them seventeen points. It's only the fourth time
this season they've been held under twenty points. They've lost
all those games.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
And the Eagles last four possessions were punt interception, punt
interception to steal the game.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So shout out Julian Love. He had a great game.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Nine tackles, two pass defended, two interceptions, responsible for four takeaways.
Last couple of days, JSN obviously the game winning touchdown
and DK Metcalf setting that up. He became the third
player in the NFL history to reach fifty receptions and
nine hundred yards five touchdowns in each of US first
five seasons. Others on that list were Randy Moss and
AJ Green. So he's in some good company. But but man,

(02:57):
let's just turn the page because we're ready to go.
Time for the Tennessee Titans coming into town. What's on tap?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
What's on tap?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Tennessee Titans five and nine, last place in the AFC South.
They are losers to the Saints, Browns, Colts, Ravens, Steelers, Bucks, Jags, Colts,
and Texans. They have wins over the Chargers, Bengals, Falcons,
Carolina Panthers, and shockingly the Miami Dolphins a couple of
weeks ago. Now, before I let you talk about this
past game, Titans are.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Kind of petty. Man. Yes, they are to es.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
They are to wear the Houston oiler jerseys against Houston.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Man, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
It wasn't I'm not gonna say it was like the
Sonic because that's a whole different kind of thing. But
I would have been feeling a certain type of way
if I was Houston.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I've seen that.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
Yeah, I would have felt in some kind of way
here's the thing about that, though most of the dudes
on the field, they weren't.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Really around for that that transition.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
It it's more the fans and ownership and you know,
people who are thirty something and up. I feel like,
but let's admit the uniforms were fired though.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
They are so clean.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
All I see is Warren Moon when I see that
Jersey went Man, right, clean cleanis in the league other
than our throwbacks for sure?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Man, the first thing you notice when you watch this
game is that CJ. Shroud is not in the game.
They also got George Fan who used to play for
the Seahawks. He wasn't playing well, Anderson wasn't playing, but
they were still able to travel to nash Field to
get that overtime win. Now, the Texans rally from a
thirteen point deficit. Case Keenum led the way. You remember
when Case Keenum was the hottest backup quarterback in the game, right,

(04:36):
what did he get it done? With the Vikings and
then went to the Broncos. I believe got a deal there.
But yeah, I like seeing throwback quarterbacks because I'm getting
old and I appreciate these guys who give them their
second and third chances. This was Keendan's first start since
twenty twenty one for Cleveland. The Titans, like I said,
jumped out to a thirteen point lead after a pick
by Elijah Molden. The Texas would answer with three field goals,

(05:00):
and the score was thirteen and nine heading into the
fourth quarter. After a Titans field goal, the Texts will
respond with a ten place, seventy nine yard drive, ending
with a Noah Brown touchdown, tying the score at sixteen.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Entertaining up to this point. Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
It was an interesting game, and now they go to overtime,
which now I'm starting to think man Krmer has something
to do with this bump.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
The jersey section.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I had something to do it for it, because it
backfired for the Tennessee Titans, as after a couple punts
in overtime, they would go on to kick the fifty
four yard field goal to secure the nineteen sixteen victory.
Will Levis fill in the game was seventeen of twenty six,
one hundred and ninety nine yards, zero touchdowns, one interception.
Derrick Henry and we'll talk about this a little bit later.
My goodness was shut down twenty touches sixteen carries, four

(05:46):
receptions for a combined ten yards. Like, I read that
stat and I met a loss because Derek Henley always
falls forward. He can ten yards. Can do that in
a sleep, but didn't have. Last Sunday for the Texans,
Devin Singletary rest for one hundred twenty one yards and
twenty six carries. Case Keenum, your boy finished the day

(06:07):
twenty three or thirty six two twenty nine, one touchdown,
one interceptions. The loss eliminated the Titans from playoff contention
as they fell the five to nine seconds rate, losing
season under head coach Mike Rabel and rookie quarterback Will
Levis left the game with one forty nine in overtime
after he was sacked for the seventh time on the day.
His leg kind of got Connor dneath him in a pile.

(06:27):
His status is day to day TVDF. He's gonna play
or not. They're hoping he will, so we'll see what
quarterback we get. But yeah, man, the Titans. They shocked
them the Dolphins one week, they go down last week.
They're not a great football team, bump, but they have
dogs on the team. So let's see how this head
to head comparison sacks up.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Yeah, you mentioned they're not a great team, they do
have dogs, and honestly, defensively, their numbers are a lot
better than the Seahawks and some categories. Right, we'll start
with the defense. Things are nineteenth overall. The Hawks are
twenty eighth against the run, the Titans are seventeen. The
Hawks are twenty fifth against the pass, the Titans are
twenty second, the Hawks twenty fourth. When it comes to
points allowed, the Titans are seventeenth and the Hawks are

(07:06):
twenty fourth. But we know this defense has been playing
better as of late, turning the football over at least
four times the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
We'll focus on that.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Offensively, the Hawks are ringing twenty at the Titans twenty six.
Running the football, the Hawks ring twenty eighth, the Titans eighteenth.
They average a hundred and four game pass offense, the
Hawks are fifteenth. Are allowing our excuse me, producing in
two hundred and thirty per game the Titans twenty fourth
to one eighty nine. And then points per game. Hawks
are putting up twenty one the Titans are putting up eighteen.

(07:36):
You look at the numbers, especially defensively, and the Titans
are better on paper.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
But we know how this game goes at this time
of the year.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
You know, we always start the season we're saying, hey,
we can't believe these numbers for about week four, right,
we ride the numbers for a few weeks. Then you
get towards the end of the season and you go, hey,
but they've been playing better than with their numbers the
short right, So I think we're back to kind of
believe in the numbers but using it to our Obviously,
we watched the Seahawks. They're playing some pretty good football
the last couple weeks.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
Yeah, No, it's you can make numbers kind of say
what you want them to say, but you're right, you
kind of need to develop a baseline with that. But
then sometimes, just like I can attest to this when
it comes to GPAs in college, sometimes if you have
a really bad stretch, even if you do good later on,
those numbers are kind of just what they are.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
So if you have a.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Bad semester and you get a two point zero or
two point two whatever, it tanks your entire GPA, believe
it or not for the whole four years, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
So anyway, average averages work.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
So yeah, this team's playing better football as of late,
so we're good to see that and hopefully can carry
that on into this Titans game. Seahawks have played the
Titans recently, back in twenty twenty one.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Let's know the history, No your history. Hawks lead the.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
All time series ten to seven, but have lost three
of the last four meetings. The last game I mentioned
to twenty twenty one season, and this was a really
frustrating game back in twenty twenty one.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Week two.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
It was a first game after the pandemic, so the
first time fans were allowed back in Loomenfield, and the
Seahawks looks like they were going to run away with it.
They're up thirty to sixteen in the fourth quarter, but
then you get two quick touchdowns from Derreck Henry, one
of them a sixty yard run that forced overtime. In overtime,
both teams would punt, but on the Seahawks possession, Russell
Wilson took a bad sack back to the one yard line.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Dixon had to punt out of the back of the
end zone.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Titan's got really good field position, only had to go
twenty one yards kicked at the game winning field goal
for the victory. On that day, Russell was twenty two
to thirty one, three hundred and forty three yards, two touchdowns.
Blockett went ut To, had a lock of game eight
receptions into one hundred and seventy eight yards in a touchdown,
and Bobby Widner had twenty tackles, one sack, one TfL. Now,
Derrick Henry, this is the guy that we don't want

(09:45):
to see this version of Derrick Henry. That day he
went carried the ball thirty five times one one hundred
and eighty two yards in three touchdowns. So let's leave
that back in twenty one because Derrick Henry can be
a dog. We don't want to see any of that
happen on Sunday. So hopefully the Seahawks can flip the script.
But let's kick it back to the NFC West.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
What's the word.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Side now, the Seahawks or the NFC West champs?

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Again, what's the word in the West?

Speaker 5 (10:18):
On Hot Talk, I'll let you know what's going on
in the NFC West. Unfortunately, the San Francisco forty nine
ers have clinched the NFC West.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
They are eleven and three.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
The Rams and the Hawks are both seven and seven
and the Arizona Cardinals are three and eleven. But let's
focus on that forty nine ers in Cardinals game man.
The Cardinals made it competitive for a half, right they
marched down the field and scored in their first possession.
The Niners would then score back to back touchdouts, including
a sixty six yard pick six by Ward, making the
score of fourteen to seven. The Cardinals will respond with

(10:50):
two field goals, pulling within one point fourteen to thirteen,
but right before the half, brock Purty connected with Christian
McCaffrey for a five yard touchdown, making the score twenty
one to thirteen. And now that this is closed as
the guy for the Cardinals, forty nine ers will run
away with this victory forty five to twenty six. And
all the ballers came out to play for the forty
nine ers. Purdy was sixteen to twenty five for two

(11:10):
forty two and four touchdowns, zero interceptions. There was a
big hit. He laid down four minute. I thought it
was his shoulder, honestly, the way they're looking at him
and stuff ended up being, you know, I got shaked
up a little bit, but he was all right. Christian McCaffrey.
He had one hundred and eighty seven total yards and
three touchdowns. Deebo had four receptions for forty eight yards
and two touchdowns. Ward had two interceptions, and Fred Wonder

(11:33):
left the team in tackles with nine Kyler Murray. Look
all the things we say about Kyler Murray, I'm gonna
give him some love right now. He probably didn't have
to rush to get back. The team wasn't playing well.
I haven't heard anything about his attitude. I've watched some
of the games. He seems to be fine. He's showing
some growth and maturations, so good for him. He was

(11:53):
twenty six to thirty nine for eleven, one touchdown and
two interceptions. In James Connor at eighty six yards the
ground on fourteen carries and a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Cardinals, you guys keep losing and.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
We'll see it in a couple of weeks, and hopefully
when we do see you, the Hawks they are about
to clinch a playoff birth by beating these dudes.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, I would love I'd love that that. That's a
great scenario. Bump, I can co sign triple sign that
whatever you want us to call it. Yes, let's do
that elsewhere in the NFC West Commanders at the Rams.
This is one of course Seyawk fans looking out for.
Didn't go the way we wanted it to. The Commanders
have struggled and they continue to struggle. Dropped their fifth
game in a row and haven't really been super competitive

(12:35):
since the Seahawks game in November. On Sunday, the Rams
jumped out to a twenty zero lead and they didn't
didn't even get on the board till six twenty five
in the third quarter. Then Matthew Stafford finds some Marcus
Robinson for twenty three yards score, making it twenty eight
to seven. Commanders scored too late touchdowns to make the
game interesting, but the Rams will recover the on site

(12:56):
cake with one forty five ups.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
In the game hold on for the twenty eight twenty
one win.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
In Stafford finished his day twenty five to thirty three,
two hundred and fifty eight yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions.
Kyron Williams dominated on the ground one hundred and fifty
two yards twenty seven carries in one touchdown. I think
it's safe to say they found their running back because
he has been balling as of late. Cooper Cup did
Cooper Cup things one hundred eleven yards, eight receptions, one
touchdown and for the Commander is Terry McLaurin had led

(13:22):
all receivers with one hundred and forty one yards on
six receptions in one touchdown. Jacoby Brissette filled in for
Sam Howe at the end of that game went eight
for ten one hundred and twenty four yards two touchdowns. Now,
the Rams Seahawks tied at seven seven record. LA holds
the head to head tiebreakers right now. The Seahawks are
the eighth seed, which is the first person out of

(13:44):
the playoffs at the moment, and they're tied with the
Rams seven and seven, but the Rams have the had
to head tiebreaker. That means if they're in a situation
with the Rams, the Seahawks need to finish with a
better record than the Rams to get in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
But we'll see.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
We'll continue to break these playoffs scenarios down as things
get going. But one thing, you guys need to watch
out for Saints in the Rams this weekend. We need
the Saints to win. That makes things a lot easier
given the Rams schedule. We do not know what's gonna
happen with the forty nine ers in rams who play
in Week eighteen. If the forty nine ers have everything
locked up, I don't know if they're going to play

(14:17):
their guys. So this is a huge win for everyone
else like myself who's scoreboard watching team Saints this weekend.
And then we'll need the Saints to lose a little
bit after that because they're in the mix two. Anyway,
that's a quick little playoff preview update. But let's get
back into these Titans. Man up this.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Man up on Hawk Talk.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
All right, let's look into this quarterback situation for the Titans. Man,
it's uncertain who's going to be a quarterback for the Titans.
We mentioned Will Levis. It's out with an ankle injury.
It seems like he's day to day. So you might
see Ryan Tannehill man, and I'm interested. I want to
see if we do see Ryan Tannehill, what exactly he
looks like. I hope he doesn't get that I've been

(15:06):
sitting down for a while. I'm rejuvenated. Let's go get it.
I don't want to see any of that. I want
to see that I've been sitting down for a while.
I'm banged up. I'm not confident. I don't believe in
myself anymore. So we shall see, man, we shall see.
But on the year, Levis has been a starting quarterback
as of late man. He was the four quarterback selected
in twenty twenty three. Just rewind a little bit. He

(15:28):
was seventeen and seven as a starter with Kentucky. Two
time team captain. He passed for five thousand yards plus
and fifty four touchdowns, forty three pass and eleven rushing.
This guy's mobile. The more film I watched, the more
athletic he looks to me. On the year, He's completed
fifty nine percent of his passes one thy seven hundred
and ninety two yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions. He's

(15:48):
been sacked twenty seven times in eight games. Levis is
three and five as a starter and has thrown for
three hundred yards just one time. All right, So Ryan Tannehill,
the guy that we could see he's had some success
in him. And see, it's crazy how quickly things changed.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Right. He started sixty one games.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
He helped lead the Titans to an AFC championship in
twenty nineteen.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
He went to the championship game.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
They didn't win the championships correct, they lost to the
team twenty nineteen. He led the Titans to two playoff
appearances after that, in twenty twenty and twenty twenty one.
After that, it's been a bit of a struggle. Things
got bad for him this year too. He threw for
eleven hundred yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions and six stars.
Man not good, sixty two complete completion percentage when it

(16:30):
comes to his passes, and he's taken nineteen sacks. Titans
were two and four in those games. Then, four years
after replacing MARIOA. Tannehill himself was replaced by Will Levis.
Playing quarterback in this league is tough, hardest position in football.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
You only get a few years.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
If you ain't looking good in two three seasons, they're
gonna get rid of you. But they also have Maleague Willis.
Back to back years they drafted quarterbacks. League has started
three games for the Titans in twenty twenty two. In
those games, he was thirty one to sixty one for
twenty to sixty seven seventy six yards. He can be
twenty to seventy six yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
In twenty twenty three.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
He's appeared in three games, going four for five for
seventy four yards. Defensively, the Hawks played good last week.
You contain Jalen Hurts for the most part. He did
get some big runs off he on third downs he
scored a touchdown. But you feel good about where this
defense is. Whoever you prepare for Ryan Tannehill still have
some mobility. Malik Willis can run and Levis can run.

(17:29):
I don't know who you're gonna get either way. Bring
the same energy from last week and you got a shot.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
I mean, head coach Mike Rabel said to Levis that
you know, essentially they're gonna take it day by day
through practice.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
They're doing it.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
He's doing everything he can to get back. They're gonna
see as they go throughout the week. The one thing
he did say is that Tannehill will definitely back up
Levs if Levis can go, and then Leak would be
the third string or second string in that scenario. So
we'll see. Man, I I don't know who I want
to see more. I think I kind of told you
off there. I might I might rather see the rookie
Levis just because he's seen.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
A lot less ballgames. You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Tannehill might not have been playing well, but there's something
about a savvy veteran that can make it put it
together for one game at a time. So we'll definitely
follow that story as the week goes on and see
who plays on Sunday. Flipping back to the Seahawks quarterback,
we got Drew Gino Smith's last Drew Locke taking on
the Titans defense. After hearing Pete Carroll the podium on Wednesday,
it seems like I think Gino's going to go. He's

(18:25):
a full one hundred percent go up practice today. So
we'll see what happens moving forward. But I'm excited because
the last time Gino Smith was on the field for
the Seahawks, he had one of his best games of
the year twenty three to forty one for three hundred
and thirty four yards, three touchdowns in one interception against Dallas.
That was his fourth three hundred dard passing game of
the season in his first game of the season with

(18:46):
three touchdowns. His fourth quarter game winning drive fell just
short at the end of that ball game, but they
were able to go into Dallas put up thirty five
points against the defense that was top five in the
league at the time. So the last time we saw
Geno Smith he was bawling. On the year, he's got
twenty nine hundred yards, fifteen touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Now,
Drew Lock, we give him some flowers too, because he

(19:07):
looked good against the Eagles, orchestrated a ninety two yard
drive at the end of the game to win it
last week, and also didn't turn the ball over.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
That's a big thing.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
So so far in the year, Drew Lock is forty
eight of seventy six, five hundred and forty three yards,
three touchdowns, and three interceptions. So either way, I feel
good about whoever you know, both quarterbacks going into this matchup.
But it'll be good to see Gino get back on
the field taking on this Titans dfense as nineteenth and
total defense twenty second against the pass, seventeen against a run,
seventeenth in points allowed, and tenth in sacks. But d

(19:38):
Nico Autry is a guy that Gino or Drew is
gonna have to keep their eyes off four because he's
having a career season. He's got eleven sacks and two
fourth fumbles, which are both career highs.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
All right, let's talk about the running back situation. Derek
Henry Man, He's he's been one of the best backs
in the NFL for a minute.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Three time Pro Bowl only three times. I feel like
every year. This dude's right.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Pro Bowl twenty nineteen, twenty and twenty two, First team
All Pro in twenty twenty, and AP Offensive Player of
the Year that year. He rush for two thousand yards.
He ran for over one thousand yards four times in
his career. He has led the league in carries three
times in his career. In twenty twenty three, Henry is
still having a good year, but so far he has
two hundred thirty carries for eight hundred and eighty four yards,

(20:20):
a six best in the league. Ten rushing touchdowns, that
six best in the league. Last two games have been
rough for him, though.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Man. In the last two games he.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
Has thirty three carries for forty three yards nuts in
two touchdowns. Last week against Houston, he has sixteen carries
for nine yards and four recessions for one yards. What
the heck? That stat line does not seem real. I
don't believe it, but I'm gonna have to take his fact.
And that's the few yards by any player in a
game in the last seventy five years with twenty plus touches.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Are we living in the matrix? What's going on with
the Henry right now? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Are you kidding me when he put out the average
right there the last two games because last game will
be worse. But if you average last two games, he's
averaged like one yard to carry. That's nuts. This man
is rushed for two thousand yards. He has eight hundred
and eighty four yards in the year. It's not like
he's just some Joe Schmoe out there like this is
one of the best dudes to do it.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
So I don't know what's going on, but I would
love it to continue for one more week, one more
one more time.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Unleo and the Seahawks, if we look at them defensively,
you know, they allowed one hundred and seventy eight yards
to the Eagles on the ground, so they've been They've
had their struggles, but again they've had times where they
played really well. You know, allowing one hundred and thirty
five yards in each the past four games is not ideal,
but they've done well at times, and at least against

(21:39):
the Eagles. They got stopped when they absolutely needed to.
On the season, they're twenty fifth against the run, so
we'll see what goes on from there.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Now.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
Flipping another match up, DeAndre Hopkins taking on the Seahawks secondary.
When it's all said and done, Bump, he's going, he's
gonna be off fam. He's gonna have a gold jacket.
He got over twelve thousand yards, five time Pro Bowl,
three time first team off Pro on pace for a
seventh thousand yard season. He's been banged up the last
two years in Arizona, playing in just nineteen and thirty
four games, but this year he's played them all. Despite

(22:07):
playing with two different qbs on this five and nine
football team, he still put up good numbers fifty nine receptions,
nine hundred nineteen yards and six touchdowns. The next Coaster
receiver is Nick Westbrook all Kind who has twenty eight
receptions for three hundred and seventy yards, and he's their
go to guy. I mean he's got one hundred and
sixteen targets on the air. Next coast, this is their
tight end O'conkwo, who has just sixty three So he's

(22:31):
the guy that want to get the ball to and bomb.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
I'm feeling good about how the.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
Secondary played, so I like how they can attack this matchup.

Speaker 5 (22:38):
Yeah, Michael Jackson played good. I was happy to see
him out there last week. He had four tackles in
one TfL two passes defended. We all know j Love
NFC defensive player of the Week, had himself a game,
nine tackles, two interceptions, and he's been a part of
four takeaways the past two games, three picks, one forced
fumblem Devin ware the Spoon missed last week.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
He's missed the last two game.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Games this year, but he's still a third in the
league when it comes to passes defending. On the season,
he has only one game this season where he doesn't
have a pass defended, so let's hope that he is
healthy and ready to go. As a team, the Hawks
have sixty eight passes defended, that is ninth best in
the NFL. Let's focus on our running backs, the Seahawks
from RBS versus the Titans front seven. Ken Walker played

(23:22):
good last week. Man he set the tone. He got downhill,
had a couple of receptions out the backfield that were good.
The Seahawks rush for one hundred yards, and like I mentioned,
he rush for one hundred yards, Seahawks win the game.
They are now six to zero when they rush four
one hundred yards. When they don't, the Hawks are one
in seventeen. So let's keep the run game going. Against

(23:42):
the Eagles, Kin had one hundred and twelve total yards,
eighty six on the ground, twenty six through the air,
including a twenty three yard touchdown. When ken Walker is
doing his thing, the offense is at his best. On
the year, Walker has seven hundred twenty yards, seven touchdowns,
twenty four receptions for two thirty two in one touchdow.
The Titans are the middle of the pack when it
comes to stop and a run. Their seventeenth in line

(24:04):
one hundred and twelve yards per game. The last two weeks,
though they gave up one hundred and forty eight versus
Houston one forty eight versus Miami.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I'm an average of one point fifty three. Let's keep
that rolling. Ken Walker is the key man, the guy,
he's the key win. He's rolling.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
I mean, it's it sounds so simple, but when you're
six and nine you rush for one hundred yards, I mean, yeah,
you're gonna do better. But That just shows you're controlling
time possession, or if you're not controlling it, it's at
least close. You're not getting blown out. That means you're
possessing the ball. So I want to see K nine
because he can be one of the league's best. So
I want to see him active again. Because this team,
I'll take another hundred yards. It's guarantees of victory, right guaranteed, though, guaranteed.

(24:46):
Speaking of victory, let's tell you how we're gonna get
their path of victory.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
After forty five waits for the snat, Michael Vickton puts
it down.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
That kick is away.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
If that kick is good, good say of Twin God.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
It's a pass to victory. On Hawk Talk.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
The gauntlet is over, but the Seahawks still have a
tough road with no margin for air if they want
to be in the playoffs. Essentially, if the Seahawks went out,
they're almost guaranteed a playoff spot. Ten wins will do
that for you. But it's gonna start with this Titans team.
And yes, they're five to nine, but they're physical, they're
a tough team, and job number one, Numero uno is
to stop Derrick Henry. Yes, he struggled the last two weeks,

(25:26):
but we know what he is capable of. And then
for me, make life tough on whoever starts a quarterback.
Titans offensive line has really struggled along fourteen sacks last
three games, So get after Levis or Tannehill or the leak,
doesn't really matter, it starts there. I think this is
a time where we can see the defensive line really
take a step and change the game, similar to that
Giants game early in the year.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
And if you get after those quarterbacks, you will create turnovers.
Keep up the good work man, Jay Love is responsible
for for the last two weeks. Let's get everybody else
involved offensively, build off of what you did last week
and stay committed to the run. Ken Walker needs twenty
five plus touches easily, and find a way to get
DK the football man. We talked to Warren Muon before

(26:09):
the game goes. Look he gave is the type of dude.
I want to give him the football early he gets
into the groove. Let's do that and take care of
the rock. Like you said, you're pretty much in the
playoffs now three games left, win all three, give yourself
a chance. Starts with the Titans. I'm glad the gauntlet
is behind the stone.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yes, and it'll be good too because it's Christmas Eve.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
For those who celebrate, it's a great time, you know
what I'm saying, have some holiday spirits. Listen to Seahawks
pregame show starting at ten to a excuse me, that's
when kickoff is seven am. Bump, we're getting up early,
getting up early. You can listen to the Seahawks pre
game show on SEAHOWK Sports the COI News Radio as
long as the Seahawks app Here's the deal. The Seahawks
have a great opportunity this weekend and keep their playoff

(26:52):
folks alive, and I think they can get it done.
A nice early Christmas gift to everyone out there. Let's
go get it done. The Seahawks taking on the Tennessee Titans.
Hopefully we'll be talking to you, let's call it Boxing
Day the day after Christmas, talking about a Seahawks victory
down there in Nashville.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
He's Michael Bamba, some nasatrobe. This has been Hawk Talk
