Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to NFL Daily, where we are back on the
winning track and back in the Chris Wesley podcast studio.
I am Greg Rosenthal, and I'm here for the first
time in three weeks in person. The model, the computer model,
Cynthia Freeland.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good to see you.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Got to be confused with like a real model.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
No, you could you get a get Ano one who
could do it all.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
If you're watching on YouTube, I'm I'm we're looking a
little harsh.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's been Oh stop, oh look, look amazing.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
And yes, while you're there, if you're watching, like subscribe,
we really love growing the show. So I said, we're
back on the winning track. I went and checked our
picks from a week ago. Unfortunately we couldn't both go
undefeated because we went against each other. And I did
get that Patriots game right over the Bills. They not
(00:54):
only covered, but they won. Same thing with my Broncos pick. Unfortunately,
my pick of the year. I don't know if you
remember that.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
I do you remember that?
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Respect the Buccaneers, no matter how injured they were, exact
on their name. There were more Seahawks injuries than I expected,
but that's excuses. So I go to and one you
got that Bills one wrong. Yeah, but you nailed Washington
and Indianapolis, who both covered by about a million compared
to where the line were. So we're on the winning
tracks right after a tough start to the season. I'm
going to give you the first pick, and if you're
(01:26):
new to the show, we make three picks every single
week and we do it against the spread, and I
might have some extras for you today.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Okay, So where are you seeing this New England and
New Orleans line?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
I think it's at three and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Okay, I'm good with that. I'm good with the Patriots
to win by more than three and a half points
in New Orleans like that.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
You have more confidence maybe than I do as a
Patriots fan.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Tell me why, Well, for a couple of reasons. Number one,
when I went back and rewatched the Saints game. To
get five turnovers in a row, that's something that hasn't
happened since like five interceptions from Ryan Fitzpatrick our research packets.
I mean, that's like, that's some pretty crazy stuff and
that's what it took against the Giants, right, and now
you have Drake May dealing the situation where he's great
(02:11):
when he's not under pressure. The Saints. Though they have
a decent number of sacks, they're not great under They're
not causing a lot of pressure. So my sense here
is that I think the Patriots, if there's no let down,
I don't think it's like a hangover from the Bills win.
I'm not so worried about that. For me. This one's
maybe let's see the run game improved for the Pats
in this one. I think it's spilled on that success.
(02:32):
Plus the defense is like significantly healthier. Christian is all.
It's like that turns out it helps to have your
good players.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
As we tape this, he popped up on Thursday's injury
report as limited with hamstring injury, which is concerning because
he wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, So something happened
during practice.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
We'll have to find out. That would be unfortunate.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
But for you, well, I still would be okay with okay,
I'm still okay with it. I'm just saying I don't
think they're gonna have a hangover from that.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Christian More's crushing, he's playing really well, Milton Williams is
playing well, and the Saints offensive line is not protected
well I do think it's a mismatch when the Patriots
offense has the ball. In terms of the coaching, Josh
McDaniels has done a really good job scheming open receivers
and making it easier on Drake May, so Drake May
gets the easy stuff. And then as you saw in
the Bills game, when they got that cover for me
(03:21):
and the win.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
I stayed up till four thirty in the morning in
London watching that.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Not big not to watch that, I'm not that big
of a fan, but we taped our recap show, which
we have to wait for the games then, so we're
basically on Pacific time.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
And by the time I got back to my hotel
it was about three thirty and I had to pack
as well for the next morning. So I'm packing watching
that game and uh fight as well.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, that's I mean, wow, that's some That's something I
feel like you should be like, I'm a huge fan.
I'm back in no wait a minute, though, I will
have to pick. I'd like got like one little boat
pick And again this is ticky, tacky, because the wins
a win and we'll take it. But like those three turnovers,
like two were lucky yeah, I mean, sometimes it's better
to be lucky than good.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
But like, oh, yardage wise, just overall, eyeball test wise,
that was a game that it felt like the Bills
were the better team. I still like the fact that
the Pages are getting so many points, but it felt
like the Bills should have won that game and would
have won that game seven or eight times out of ten.
But that's sports especially, Okay. I've really had a journey
(04:25):
with my picks this week because because of injuries, things
keep changing around and I can't believe in the end.
My favorite pick of the week, at least the one
that I know I want to take, is Atlanta plus
four and a half at home against the Buffalo Bills.
I'm starting to fade the Bills in general. I think
(04:46):
because of their schedule.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
You think like you have a big head from that
late night watch.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
I always have a big head, and it's just growing
even bigger. Although my record this year in this show,
it should not it should not be the way. Okay,
I don't think these two teams are that different, Cynthia,
So I love a home underdog that.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
You don't think the teams are that different? Do you think,
Michael Pennix has is in any of much the same
stratosphere as Josh Allen.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
I think, based on the opponents that they've played and
what they've put out on the field in twenty twenty five,
the Bills are a better team than the Falcons.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
The Falcons lost to the Panther.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Okay, I'm glad you brought that up, and that's doing
a lot to change their numbers.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
They've been impressive the other three games.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
It was a bad game, and even that game, the
Panthers didn't get over three hundred yards, like, the yardage
was pretty even. Pennis had a total horror show, and
that's certainly possibly happened. But if you think about the
other three games, they actually outgained the Bucks significantly and
lost at the Buzzer like that, that's not a horrible loss.
They outplayed a good Commander's team, which granted had Mariota,
(05:49):
but it was really the offensive performance by the Falcons.
That was the last game that we saw, and they
dominated the Vikings in JJ McCarthy in that prime time game.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I just mean their defense, I think is solid, and
their offense.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
But even a solid defense, it's still Josh yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
And so that's why I think the Bills will likely
win this game. But when I see a home dog
four and a half points in a game that kind
of like the Broncos last week although they were on
the road, kind of like the Pages, I could see
them winning this game every Bills season.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
And you know this because they know you're a big
Bill's head. You know you will watch some teams closer
than others, and the Bills are one of them.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yes, if you pay me money, I will watch your team.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
You have worked for the Buffalo Bills yet, yes, so
of course you know what's one underrated thing can be bought?
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Greg.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
I mean Kyle knows it, you know, No, of course not,
of course not.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Actually, if he's listening, I would like a few things,
and I've been doing a lot of chores lately.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Okay, so there we go.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
I'm just kidding. I don't need anything.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
They go through stretches in every season where they just
hit some lulls. And again, I just think that the
Falcons offense John Drake London, they figured out some things
in that game before the bye against Washington.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
I really like what they like.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
I've actually thought Pennix has looked good except for that
one bad game, and so I trust in their offense.
I really don't trust in the Bills defense. I think
it's gonna be a fun, high scoring game on Monday
Night and it'll just be close and come down to
the end.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
So I'll take four and a half points. All right,
what's your second pick?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Okay, so second pick. There's a few that I really hate,
but I love this one. Actually, you know what, I
feel really strong about Indianapolis to win. Okay, let's go
listen to Colts. They did me well last week. Let's
go back to that Colts. Well, they're at home yet again.
This time they host Arizona. Now, at the time of
this recording, if Kyler Murray, I don't think you practiced
(07:36):
this morning, right, So.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
I don't at this point, I don't think he's gonna play,
but I don't.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Does that affect it that much?
Speaker 3 (07:42):
I kind of not really, But I just mean that
the Lions or the line, not the Lions. The line
could move, but I still think the Colts cover unless
some crazy line happens. I still think the Colts earn
a good spot.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
It almost looks like the line as of taping has
already adjusted because it's up to seven. Okay, so it
has moved up with that Kyler Murray is out of
practice on Thursday.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
If it moves to like ten, then then I might
get a little bit. I might back down from my position,
but I like, we'll send a tweet out correct it. Yeah,
but I think unless it gets to double digits, I
still think the Colts. It's the Colts are just they're
on a heater the Cardinals. The thing that the Cardinals
have been relatively decent at stopping the run. They don't
(08:26):
really have an answer for Jonathan Taylor's types of run.
So to me, this is a huge mismatch in favor
of the Ponies.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
I look at their profile, and I'm sure your numbers
say the same thing. And you see a team that's
a top two or three team in the NFL that
they have been a wagon offensively, good enough with your
guy lou defensively where they can come up with these
game plans that create turnovers that are different every week.
You're not sure what you're gonna get. It's not a
(08:52):
great defense, but it's a good enough defense. It's a
sport that offense.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
I've been back and forth all week.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
I actually had Arizona plus seven written down as my
one of my maybe extras, it wasn't gonna be one
of my picks. I'm now crossing that off. I haven't
really actually felt good about that.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
That sounds like really bad luck.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I'm basing it too much on vibes that they know
after last week that it almost feels like they're seasons
on the line this week if they fall to two
and four, they have a tough schedule coming up too.
They are like, you know how they used to stay
on Twitter, like you never want to be the main
character on Twitter for the day. No, the Cardinals have
(09:29):
been the main character in the NFL this week, And
I just feel like if if they got anything in
them to show up and play their best game like this,
this would be it.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
They need it.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
They need it.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Not that they're going to try harder. I'm not saying that,
but I do think sometimes when teams are desperate, you
get a good performance when.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Your coach has to pay a fine for an interaction
with the player, Like things are bad when you lose
three games in a row on walk off field goals.
Things are bad like that. It's tough, Like it's just
so as much as they might want to or need it,
Like the Titans lost that game. I don't think the
car you know, if the Titans won that game, I
don't think that the Cardinals lost it like that. The
(10:08):
Titans didn't like sit there and like do something extraordinary, Right,
you're saying the Cardinals lost. Yes, sorry, Cardinals loss it.
Point being is like that was a weird The end
of that game was weird.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
This whole season for the Cardinals was there. They have
not looked right to me, even though they're two and
like they got two wins early, but schedule has helped.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
I'm with you. I'm going to cross that one off.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
I would cross that. I mean, especially with the Kyler Mravian.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
And I'm glad you brought up the fine of Jonathan
Gannon because I keep seeing this argument about oh, now,
you know, like Demarkata made one of the worst plays
in the world, and now the coach is the one
who's getting fine and the coach like whatever happened to
like accountability, And it's like, how dumb can you be
he could be in the process of losing that locker room,
(10:55):
like you have a large group of grown men who
you need to sacrifice a lot to play as hard
as they possibly can and believe in everything you're saying.
And the organization, I think is doing a good job
of finding Gannon, and Gannon has done a good job
apologizing about it, because that is one clear way to
have a lot of your players the most important part
(11:16):
of your franchise tune you out because he crossed a line.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Also, just on a human level, yes, like there are
ways to punish someone for making a bad play that
are really well like adopted by the general consensus of
a team. Right, there are things that you know, don't
play him for a quarter. We see that all the time.
(11:44):
Don't don't do it, don't like confront like it's weird,
Like it's just it.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Was right because he's not allowed to hit back in
that situation.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
No, you're not allow No one's allowed to.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I only laughed at I was thinking of whatever happened
to Jordan Addison in Minnesota's.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
What somebody tell me what I think?
Speaker 2 (12:03):
There was some buzz like they just just didn't know
where he was. They didn't know where he was. But
he's too good.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
And you can just imagine Kevin O'Connell being like, I
can't believe I have to go the first quarter without
Kevin o'c with Jordan Naszaba. I got to do something
and oh, by the way, he helped win the game. Okay,
my second pick. I'm spinning here because as we go
to tape, mac Jones is reportedly like really limited at
that forty nine Ers practice, and if they go to
Adrian Martinez. I just don't want this thing to be
(12:32):
too out of date, because I was thinking pretty hard
of the forty nine ers covering the three in Tampa
because Kyle Shanahan as owner. I really looked at that
Todd Bowles in the last three years, it's been incredibly
one sided in terms of the yardage. They won three straight,
they won thirty five to seven a couple of years ago,
and the yard you know what, it's just too much.
If mac Jones is seriously compromised, I don't know if
(12:53):
it's the lion liar who lies playing games on the
injury report too and saying like the portion that the
media can see mac Jones looks too limited. I don't
want to be going with a third quarterback in Rickels,
so I'm not going to do that one. I have
settled on Cleveland plus five and a half as one
of my picks. Okay, Pittsburgh's their opponent, Pittsburgh is hosting them.
(13:18):
It's a bit of a tough spot for the Browns
who are coming over from London, whereas the Steelers, who
are coming from Dublin, had the week off so they
have extra rest. Don't love that, and they're getting healthier.
Jalen Warren, Joey Porter Junior returning, Alex Hei Scheme, Alex Heismith.
I just think the Browns defense is legit good and
(13:40):
the Steelers offense I don't trust them just based on
that performance, and five and a half points is enough
for me. One of my big takeaways from watching that
game live. I do think Dylan Gabriel is going to
give this team a better chance to win. I do
think they've found something in Quinn John Jenkins, great running back.
They are healthier on the offensive line actually than they've been.
(14:01):
Jack Conklin is back, the interior is basically there. That
was a pretty functional looking, mistake free offense by the Browns,
and all I need is for their defense to play
well enough for them to lose fourteen to ten or
seventeen to fourteen or maybe even get an upset when
I'm not buying this Pittsburgh offensive resurgence. I think it's
a mismatch when the Steelers have the ball in favor
(14:23):
of the Browns defense. Let's go Browns covering five and
a half in a place that they haven't won in
the regular season for twenty one years. What an outrageous
stat But they did win in the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Yeah, no, fans, I'm rooting for Dylan Gabriel to throw
two touchdown passes because then he becomes the first Browns
quarterback to have done that in the first two starts.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Okay, let's go, like, I want.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
To see it happen. Make some history, brother.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
People were like almost making fun of how limited they
looked and how they were coaching around. It was like, no,
the Vikings were getting quick pressure every other play and
he was making the right decisions. And this is a
young team. I just think five and a hal half
is too much. This season right now has not had
a lot of dominant teams, not a lot of predictability,
and so if you're giving me four and a half
(15:07):
five and a half in a game where I could
see either team winning, that's what I'm going with right now,
So I'm going Browns plus five and a half.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Your your last pick, Cynthia.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Okay, well here's my question. First, do you think that
Ravens are on sale? Because like right now, Ravens at
at one and four, they could be if you.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Like that, Do you think what a Shoddies could be
selling the team?
Speaker 3 (15:23):
No? No, no, no no no no. Like their futures, the
market for their future to win the division, is it
on sale?
Speaker 1 (15:29):
It is crazy that they were favored to win the
division at lest they were.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
They were Super Bowl favorites at one point.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
But they this week they're still favorites to win the
division anymore. Not but that's because everyone saw that stat
and then they started betting it.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
But I think they're on sale. I think their future
the market is on sale.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
So what does that mean?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Means that if you buy them low, you could get
a good return on your investment.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
I could see that in terms of a long term pick.
I could not see that in terms of this week's
game against the Rams. I'm not talking about this one, okay.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
But future, the future. So you could actually hear me
out if you believe the Rams will beat the Ravens,
which I think we both do.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
And cover that. Maybe I should take that.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Okay, well you still have a pick left, so you can. Yeah,
but if you believe that, then the Ravens' future odds
of winning the division or making it to the playoffs,
that becomes an even deeper discount.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Right, wait till next buy it when slow? Yes, I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
I just was thinking about that earlier. I wanted to
get your thoughts on it.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
I like that, and I don't think that's crazy, and
I think this is the right form to be doing that.
Get you a show that can do both. You know,
pick some games this week, let's pick a little long term,
wait for them to lose to the Rams, then take
some Ravens to win the division, Ravens to win the
AFC when they're at when they're at one in five,
Because if you look at that schedule coming out.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Sale, it's it's like, you know what, like Black Friday
deal right Prime Day whatever, you know.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
But it's like buying designer stuff on stale.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Yeah, I mean this was like exactly the high of
markups a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
And saying I'm with you, all right, are your third pick?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
My third pick. Now that I have thoroughly talked for
two I like, this is going to be a crazy one.
But I think Miami took a plus four.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, that's one of my ones that I wrote down
as my extras. That was gonna and now that I'm
crossing off games because of injuries that I don't like anymore,
that could have been my third. But I'll just instead
of going together on it, I think it will be separate.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
But I totally agree. That's probably my fourth favorite or
fifth favorite this week.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
I just think the Chargers O line problems and plus
Amarion Hampton plus right, I saw like maybe Trey Pipkins
and maybe Mackai Beckton, and you know you got Denzel Periman,
you get Khalul Mack. Like there there are so many
people who are either already out or potentially out, and
especially the two tackles plus Omari and Hampton's like, welcome
to the game, Kamani Vidal.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Right, Hassan Hassan Haskins right. And it's really about that
offensive line. And look some backups on the offensive line,
they're coached up well and they play well. That's now
we're onund like seven. No, I'm saying the Chargers have
shown us that's not happening. They're playing horribly. And yeah,
Makai Beckton, the.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Big Ticket, I think that's his nickname.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
He was in a non contact jersey on Wednesday. He's
back out of it, so he might play for them.
But but even if he started, their center play has
been terrible. And that that's Bradley Boseman, who's healthy, but
he or at least playing.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
He's their normal starter. He's just been terrible. So they're
terrible at like four or five positions.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Herbert already has thrown more picks than he did all
of last season. I mean, I just think it's a
really it's tough sletting when you know Mike McDaniel had
a meeting with mister Ross, Like that's a that's a
that's a tough you know you talk about.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
I don't know if that's good or bad for the Dolphins,
just I think it.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Means that the it's stressful, like things are, there's a
little turmoil there, like that was embarrassing last week. I
would imagine they think that's embarrassing the way that that
loss happened. So this goes with my theory of what
I've been saying, here's probably still win the same. This
goes with what I was talking about before in this
NFL where the Chargers, if you were only looking at
(19:05):
the last couple of weeks, their defense is not playing well.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
They're getting run over.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Now the Dolphins have struggled to run the ball, so
that's like weakness on weakness, we'll see their offensive line.
Like in the last couple of weeks, the Chargers have
looked like a bad football team, and it's because of
injuries in large part, but on defense they have been
out coached a little bit.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
And four and a half is just too much.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
That's what I'm saying. I just I think that like
they could win by a field goal, we'd still be right.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Okay, So I'm with you. That's gonna be one of
my extra picks.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
I'm doing a rare total pivot because in the end,
and I go with what's in my heart?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Oh your heart?
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Since I saw that rams pop up seven and a half,
actually thought, you know what, I do like that more
than anything else here, because I'm going to walk you
through the process.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
For the listeners that care, and there can't be that many.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
I care.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
I really believe in the Seattle Seahawks this year, and
I liked them one, you know, as a road favorite.
Right now in Jacksonville, it's a one and a half
point line as we're taping this. We just don't know
which defensive players. And I think I overlooked that a
little bit in terms of my pick of the year
last week.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
And look, they had the ball back. They had least
a seven points.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Not like you could have been either completely right or
completely wrong based on literally one freakin' throw.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Right, it was a throw that bounced off someone's helmet
and was intercepted. I thought they were going to win
by three, and I was going to skate that said,
the way the Buccaneers lit them up on offense, I
think made showed that it was a bad pick.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Anyways, that was that was a coin flip game.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
But I think the biggest reason why they struggled so
much is no Julian Love, no Devin Witherspoon, DeMarcus Lawrence
got hurt in that game. Derek Hall is out for them.
All of those players might still be out. I have
not been back at practice, and so if I knew
that they at least the guys in the secondary were returning,
I would like that. I like the forty nine ers pick,
(21:01):
as I mentioned, even without Ricky Piersall, I was ready
to pick them with Mac Jones as we're taping that
Jack Jones's status is a little more uncertain than I.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
I agree that he looked like he was dressed as
an Alice in Wonderland character come to life. It looked
like like a car, like a play. It was like this,
it's giving playing card, you know, like King Us a
strange kind of hearts or something.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
What he was giving to me, if you watched them
was when they drafted him. Do you remember how he
like walked very like angrily up to the podium because
I think everyone had passed on him or just that's
how he walks.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
He walked.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
He just has a menacing walk. There's just something very strained.
He's very he's very emotional. And that was a great
game for him, and I believed that he was actually
because of how he works the short game so well.
A fine matchup against Tampa, Like it's not a big
difference to me to have him versus Party and I
(21:55):
love the matchup Shanahan versus Bulls. But all these injuries
are spooking me here. And so that's a long, really
long winded way of saying I feel better about the
Rams just winning this game. They have extra rest. I
know they're going east, but I love a little extra rest.
And then they have the number one design success rate
on the ground in the NFL. All they have to
(22:16):
do all day is just hand the ball off against
a Ravens defense who is twenty eighth in the league
against the run. They're terrible against the pass too. They're
just terrible on defense. And there's no reason to think
they can hold the Rams under thirty. So can can
Cooper Rush get to twenty four to cover this number?
Speaker 2 (22:33):
I have my doubts.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
I mean, we all had our doubts about the Rams
last or the Niners last week too, and some weird stuff.
You never know that Tarvel is weird. But I have
a hard time. Like I told you, I think the
Rams are just waiting for that deep discount. The Ravens
are just reading for that deep discount. The Rams. Maybe
the Rams know about it too, They're like, we're gonna
help this deep discount happen. This is gonna be fun.
(22:57):
I don't know. I just think they're gonna be on
big time sale and then we're to be look like
genius is picking them.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
I like that. I'm not giving up on the Ravens
long term. Oh.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
I do think though their defense has problems that need
a bye week. They just traded for a Loie Gillman
at safety. They just signed Chauncey Gardner Johnson. Their rookie
safety Starks is not playing well. We don't know if
Kyle Hamilton's playing this game that they might get Marlon
Humphrey back, but they're not going to have Rokewan Smith back.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Three. They're like a bunch of guys who allowed.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
To Madam Week is never coming back. They just traded
a Dafe away. It's a mess. The Rams are the
wrong offense to go against when your defense is a mess.
So to review in the end, my list has completely changed.
I crossed out two of my picks today. I'm going
with Atlanta plus four and a half, the Browns plus
five and a half, and the Rams minus seven and
(23:45):
a half. On the road, you have the Dolphins. By
the way, you get an extra half point here. The
official line right now is four and a half. There's
a free point half point for you generous. You get
Miami plus four and a half, and remind me what
your other two picks were Indie minus seven at home at.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
Home, which was the good one, and then my first one.
Now we've been everywhere, what was my first one? New
England three and a half.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
