Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome one. Come on, I appreciate everybody tapping in. This
is Off the Edge the podcast with me your host,
Cam Jordan. I'm super excited to talk to a man
who's famous in his own right, a man who started
up the Manning Hour, the myth behind the legends, if
that makes sense. We're talking about a man who's co hosting.
(00:26):
We need a fourth podcast from Smartness Media. Not the youngest,
but the eldest Manning brother, not the uncle or the
grandfather of Arch, but the father of you know, let's
bring in my guy, Cooper Manny. It's time for this
week's Drive for Success Conversation presented by Toyota.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Let's go places.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Cool to see. Cam. I can't thank you enough for
having me on. You've been such a great guest of
The Manning Hour of the last eleven years that you know,
you say what time and what to wear, and I'm
there and you requested this hat, so I decided I
wear it for you.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Look I heard you down there in good old Austin, Textius.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
You know, oh yeah, just just you know, it's like
Peter Pan down here. Everybody addresses every day is Halloween.
You addresses anybody you want. Actually, I just got a
bad haircut, so I've more I had to you can
relate to bad haircuts. You've had a couple, and I said.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
I may be rocking one right now. I was like,
I gotta get retwisted.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
But started off in silver is just like slowly fading
to blue blood.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
And yeah, I just well, confuse is not a bad
way to be, you know, immatere and confused. Those are
my two favorite favorite ways to keep them all guessing.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
I said, how does that affect the kids? Because my
wife tells me, She's like, could you could you act
your age? And I'm like, I can't act any older
or younger than I am currently.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
It just means they're not going to expect a lot
out of you, which is fine. Just kind of keep
disappointing them, and it's either for you don't you don't
really let them down. You start off at a very
low base and you just kind of hover at that level.
It's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Are you are you the fun dad or are you
the the was it the disciplinarian?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
No, I would say I'm a I'm a fun dad.
I mean, I mean, I think they're still perfectly scared
of me. In the right spots. But I think that
you know, they they're they're they're not they're they're glad
to introduce me to their friends, and they if they're
going to have a little shin dig or something, they
don't mind me being there for the appropriate amount of time.
(02:24):
But I'm also can I can turn into big bad
dad if need be, you know.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, the the finding lines. Look I am I'm the
I'm the embarrassing dad. I walked in and uh, my
kids this morning had was a grand grandfriend's day, and
I was like, I don't know what a grand friend is.
I was like, but here I am over a country
day and I was like, I was like, hey, I
got the shild had approve it. I was like thank you,
being like, yeah, it's not playing around. I'm like, no,
it's not your dad, I'm your grandfriend.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah. I love. I loved dropping my children off on
carpool like you know, in second grade and be like
you forgot your extra underwear, you know, and they you know,
they kind of hit that keep going or something like that.
You got to just keep them at parrass. That's a
good Bila. Yeah, everybody everybody needs a packing extra pair
of tidy whities from time to time.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Look, I'm waiting until they get older. I'm waiting till
like middle school, high school, and to have like the
boombox with the dance battle. I can't wait to get
the you know, the funkadelic, freaking, you know vibes to
the eighties rat battles.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
I can't wait.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I'm sure the top brassed Country Day is looking forward
to that as well.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Oh my gosh, they'll be like, I'm so glad he's
retired by then, you know, like I'm gonna I'm gonna
tear this place down, all right. But uh, I guess
I should get to the questions I know, or we've
got you here and we know, just how did how
did the Manning are even start?
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I've never actually asked the origin.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
You know, It's funny. We we had to. We've always
had the Manni Passing Academy down in Thibodeau. Every year
we have all these great kids from all across the
country come down and attend a football camp really just quarterbacks,
receivers and running backs. And then I was always kind
of the entertainer. You know, you got on the microphone
and go around and mess with people and have a
little camera crew follow me. We'd cut it up and
(04:04):
if it rained or something went wrong, we'd have some
footage to go show them. You know, we would kind
of not be able to practice. And my buddy, God
bless Chris Mortenson used to watch this through old mort
for the ESPN. He goes, Cook, you might, there's so
manly something to do here, you should probably go reach
out to the ESPN. I can connect it, maybe a
guy Fox and see if there's something you could do,
or you could interview a player and just have a
(04:25):
little fun. I was like, yeah, let's go for it.
So I flew up to Bristol and kind of walked
the idea through ESPN and then met with some Fox
folks and it just seemed like, I don't know, Fox
kind of liked it a little bit more, and they
didn't really think I could get access to the players.
They didn't think it would really work. And I was
at least remotely smart enough, barely smart enough to go
(04:49):
I better start off with a powerful you know, one, two,
three punch. Therefore, other players that would go well. If
Drew Brees does it well, if Cam Newton does it well,
if Von Miller does it well, if Odell does, then
I can probably do it. And those are my first
four and shoot, eleven years later we're humming along and
doing things ridiculous and silly and don't take yourself too seriously,
(05:10):
and you know they don't. It doesn't even have to
be a great player, just a guy that's fun, likes
to do something, has a talent. And you can juggle
or sing or dance, or fishes or goes bowling, or
likes to get up a couple's massage, you know, or
just have a strong personality like yourself. You're well deserving
to be a possible interviewee on the Manning Hour. So
(05:31):
it's it's the quickest or slowest or most uninteresting two
minutes in sports, the Couple Manning Hour minus fifty eight minutes.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
I mean, it's a great time to be though. There's
a lot of good placelines.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
You know.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
I feel like I've taken the spot where I've been
on the show the most in my mind, I don't
you know.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I think you've been on the show five times. Five
times a lot means it means three or four things.
It means one, you've been playing football long time, he
had a high level and then just you have a
lot of free time, so it's good.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, I'll tell you, for every haircut, there has to
be a reappearance on the show.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
You know, we're overdue. I'll come see it as we
approach Christmas, but I need a bailout. I was like,
I don't feel like travel this week. Let's just let's
just go down the road in New Orleans and do
something with Cam. Yeah, we'll dress you up with that hair.
You can dress up as sad and not even need
a wig. You'd be fine.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Talking about that.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
You know, like Von Miller, you know, he's always he's
always doing interesting things.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
You know, my man a couple years ago have like
a triangle patch in the back of his head.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Now he's got you know, he had like a little
shag cut of some years back. Nobody, nobody talks about it,
but he discreetly does his own thing.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
You know. Von is just a country dude. He's a
he's raising chickens now he's grown. He's a chicken farm.
So we had him on. He has a tattoo of
a chicken right below his knee, and uh, and he's
just I mean, what an athlete, What a what a
delight to be with. And uh, I mean, you know
there's stories of of Vaughn when it had been Peyton
(07:06):
was with the Broncos of Vaughn after practice, just lined
up at corner and covering guys at you know, at six'
three and changed two. Fifty just he is that gifted
of an. ATHLETE i think one of the one of
the all time. Greats it's fun to be.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
AROUND i could, UH i can believe that. ONE i,
mean you, know he does come from an all time great draft.
Class i'm gonna say the best draft class ever twenty.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Eleven yeah you, know, yeah you know that was who
else was in that? Class only you named.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Him Cam newton was number, one you, Know vaughn was number.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
TWO i Think Marcel darius was was, Three Patrick, Peterson Julio,
jones you, Know Alden smith fastest to forty five.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
SACKS i Think Danielle hunter ended up beating.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
That but just some, MEGASTARS Jj, Watt Cam, hayward you,
know Love Cam.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Herrick, YEAH i Remember Cam. HAYRID i remember when WHEN
i WHEN i was growing. Up you, know his father
was with The. Saints my dad would go down my
dad was doing the color on the, radio so we
Would peyton AND i would go get a cab at
eleven thirty from our, house which you'd never miskick off at.
Noon that's how easy it is to get The, superdome
(08:15):
watch the, game and go down and meet my dad
down the locker. Room after he would do the game
and then do a couple of postgame, interviews and we
would See ironhead coming, out and we saw this child
THAT i thought was fourteen and it was really, Three
and that was Cam, herrod the BIGGEST i think he
still has the record for maybe of the heaviest child
(08:38):
ever to be. Born you, know In New orleans, hospital
was like north of seventeen. Pounds he was a full
man coming. Out so what a stud he.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Is no.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
DOUBT i, MEAN i love that guy simply because he
has my. Name i'm the third cam of our. Draft
by the, Way, CAMTON i was a second second one
taken with the third of the.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Draft you.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Know, yeah we had some, dogs a lot Of Pro,
bowlers a lot of wall, pros. Leta, anyways nothing about
our draft. Class we're not here talking about how great
my draft class.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Was it's just being the.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Best we're here about your, show which of course you
Have Von miller, on and then you say you're starting
for was What drew.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Brees the first ever episode Was.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Drew it was the First drew rus And, DREW i
have this. Idea i'm trying to pitch The, fox AND
i don't think it's gonna. Work it may not. Work
just do me a favor and just come over and
sit on the steps. TODAY i, mean we're just gonna
talk And i'll be kind of it'll be, awkward and
you just roll with. It and he's, like. Okay and
it was that. Easy and he BELIEVED i wore a
tuxedo and he blew he Had he said he played
(09:37):
some instrument and he brought it this like wooden horn
that was horrible and it was awkward and it was,
perfect and you, know it was the genesis of a
very mediocre media.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Career mediocre, media, nah impossible eleven. Years there's nothing mediocre about.
That plus it's. Funny so did you make your own
shoot your own?
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Skin? WE i wrote AND i had a buddy who
was good. GOOD i was PRETTY i was pretty involved
in the in the first couple of. Years and THEN
i said, GUYS i got stuff going, on and PLUS
i don't know who all makes sense to be on.
It they'd, say, cook there's a great defensive lineman from
The browns who's you, know who's hysterical and he loves does.
(10:19):
AEROBICS i, said, let's you, know let's get him and
then we'll figure it out and just make and they
really we kind of have a loose, script but it
really works better when it's just kind of organic and
natural and we have a little theme and set them
up for a couple of. Winners but it's better when
it's just interactive and things go wrong and that's kind
(10:40):
of the the. Fun AND i guess this day and,
age it's it's evolved where people were a little hesitant
to be on on. Camera now people players want to
show a side of them that you know that the
general general public doesn't get to see without the helmet
and just be a be a regular guy or, so you,
know if you're a, musician a, magician we've had, magicians,
(11:02):
musicians we've had, Physicians we've had them.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
All i'll say it wasn't wasn't there a center that
ended up being a. Magician there was a safety they
ended up being a. Physician you.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
KNOW i remember we had a great we had a
Great we hadn't know maybe an old teammate of. Yours
he was there briefly was uh we said a magician came, In,
no a special teams. Guy, yeah the deep, staffer.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
That's what he.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Is, yeah we're we're. Talking and then he was doing
some card tricks and then all of a sudden he
told we take my shoe, off and the CARD i
selected was inside my. Shoe and how that.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Happened you didn't feel it until until you took it,
out you. Know he that was that Was John dorian
Bos he came in. There, yeah he came like he
came in for a couple of weeks for, us and
they came like they found a heart problem or something
like that in. Them and then, YEAH i just saw
this pastorate. ACCOUNT i was, like, ah he's, like, bro we.
Can we were teammates for like seventy two. HOURS i was,
(11:54):
like my, God.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
You've had a lot of teammates for seventy two hours
or probably in THE nfl.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Had a you, know we had a kicker and then
then you, know teams players come and, go Especially park squad.
Guy you'd be, like, oh, MAN i really like this.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Guy he's got. Potential Hu lee on another.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Team we were talking about that. TODAY i WAS i
had breakfast with one Of archer's. Teammates, dad who's you,
know kind of looking at THE, nfl AND i was
talking ABOUT i, said it's a total different animal than.
College you, know your your your big night out on
the town Is sunday. Nights all your friends are going
to work the next. Morning you. Know you, know there's
(12:35):
no there's no cheerleaders and band and you know party
after the game and the fraternity houses and the whole of.
Hoopla it's it's a. Business it's a total different. Game
so you, know enjoy college why you, can.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
RIGHT i, said college is a great. TIME i, SAYED i,
said ACTUALLY i stayed my fourth. YEAR i looked at
the door after my junior. YEAR i was, LIKE i could,
leave BUT i want to be a first. Rounder and, also,
COACHES i love. Y'ALL i don't don't look for me
too many. Classes i'm here to play football. Now three for,
y'all one for me.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
And perfect that's. Good, YEAH i, mean, yeah you know
better thannybody and, yeah the same way in the locker.
Room you have a guy drafted in the sixth round
or great guy you this could be my, pal and
you know he doesn't make, it cut, traded you, know hurt.
Over it's a revolving door.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Wick quick and especially on a season where you're not,
winning then then you see guys come in go. Once
once you realize, that oh they, start everybody gets to,
well this could be the winning piece and this guy
could help us, here and oh he can't help us.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Here, well this guy could help us.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Here and then you look up and you're, like, dang
we've got a lot of practice squad players this.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Here you know nothing nothing.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
All and also you don't have, those you know a
handful of games that are Like, okay we're gonna we're
gonna win these and then we can content to the other.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Ones everybody's.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Good, Everyone, yeah we don't we don't get to pay
uh you Know tennessee out CORP a and M State. Juco,
yeah to come on, over pay them a million bucks
to get this butt. Whooping no see you On, sunday
and every one of you is. Talented it's any Given
sunday for a. Reason because there's thirty two teams and
they're fully. Loaded there's no there's no diasca of talent.
(14:18):
There everybody gets draft, picks everybody has first.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Rounders that's a tribute To that's a tribute to, You.
Cam for you to be able to hang in there
that long and keep being playing such a high level
and being a great teammate and a great ambassador for
THE nfl and doing some fun sting on the, side
that's a that's a tribute to what kind of dedication
you do in the off. Season make it look you
make it look easier than it.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
IS i KNOW i appreciate. That Yet i've Been i've
been able to tell my Friends i'm a. COACH i, said,
look my, friends come and. Go i'll be here many,
past many past head, coaches defensive, coordinators, players guys that
wanted me in and guys that wanted me.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Out guess, what big, Fella i'm. Here this is this
is home for.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Me, anyways in your in your tenure of your amazing media,
career has anybody big dogs you've told you. No you asked, Like,
eli why don't you be my first? Episode he was, like, look,
bro get.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Here, yeah you, Know eli was on. It peyton was.
Great one TIME i Caught peyton In New. York we
were both in tuxedos in a bed, together just kind of.
RELAXING i never had any luck getting A, patriot you,
Know Coach, BELICHICK i don't think liked a lot Of
tom foolery in the middle of the, season so did
never never had much luck with. Him but then After gronk,
(15:28):
retired Got gronk on the first, time, yeah or just
when he Was, yeah maybe in between in the, gap
but you, know MOST i kind of didn't want to
have anybody on it that didn't really want to be on.
It that was you, KNOW i wanted someone who was
kind of knew what he was getting into and was
excited about. It and it's the problem now is At.
(15:52):
Fox you, know IF i all of a sudden get
someone kind of a high profile, person all of a,
sudden they, go whoa we did you Know Aaron andrews
talking to? Him not your you, know dumb. Ass SO, i, oh,
Yeah i'll get you. Dog i'll get big dog about
the own my own big. Dog so that's, uh that's
(16:13):
part of the that's part of the part of the.
Game you learn the.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Hierarchy no doubt so outside of, Me i'm gonna take
myself out of. It so we'll put us in this awkward.
Position who was your favorite guests on the?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Show?
Speaker 3 (16:24):

Treasure i'm sure you went up against him a little
bit one of the.
Speaker 1 (17:19):

to him and was a you, know a decorated. Weightlifter
And nick just had this kind of contagious laugh and
smile and it was the most grounded guy you ever
want to be. Around and you, KNOW i saw an,

Too they love to, laugh they love being around people
that are, funny and they're not, afraid like every other
funny person to go ahead and pick a few things that.
WORKED i, always you, Know i'm always stealing someone's stuff
(22:45):
and kind of morphing into my. Own but it was.
Funny we were doing a little speaking engagement to the
day with my dad And, eli and my dad who
goes uh, something asked About eli being, funny and my dad, said, Oh,
eli you didn't say anything interesting to you were about four.
Anyway So, eli he's on a. Delay he's been holding
out for a long time and now he's, uh he's.
(23:07):
Great we had to do a little shoot today With.
Eli he is so comfortable and natural in front of
these cameras and And peyton is, uh you know on
it has a profile to be funny and he's self
deprecating and can laugh at himself and it's endearing and,
man he's. UH a lot of people want to be
have him be a part of their. Company he's he's,
(23:27):
uh he's really good at what he. Does.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Right the manning our versus manning cast is that.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
It's it's it's, yeah it's kind of like comparing, uh you,
know apples and. Manure you, know they don't have a full.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
LOT i think the saying his apples and, origes.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
We're still we're still yet to turn into a. Fruit
we're kind of harvesting ourselves on the ground the trash.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Can i'll, say you say, manure which manure just helps
the fruit. Grow so technically they have a lot in.
Common you you are the agent of.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Growth i'm in there, SOMEWHERE i WILL i will say
both pay me, live do lean on me from time
to time to uh do a little ghost writing for
them at the right. Times usually if it's, yeah just
not so much the g rated, stuff it's got to
be a Little. Pg thirteen for me to you, know.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Come on a little.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
LATER i got a little. Spide that's, right that's.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Right you let the quarterbacks be the face of the,
franchise but when is time to really shine with the
funny line Call.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Coop you might not get invited back if you say,
everything but it might be worth.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
It, oh we're the same, person you, know the.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Family we call You Cam and WHEN i come, in they're, like,

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Where the family. Is, hey we're, here we're. Here come
in with this. Teacher i'm here to mess things.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Up, yeah, okay, good but it's always it's always good
around holiday season. Too you, know you can offend kind
of that brother in law you hadn't seen it in a.
While or, yeah you know an ant who's a little. Sensitive,
yeah go ahead and just stir the.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Pot so, uh you, know as we're on this, podcast
let's focus in on your.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Podcast we need.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
A Fourth were you host you, know co host with
With Brian bumgarden or you Got Kenny maine yourself and
you talk about we need a fourth being a fourth
partner for what?
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Golf we were having so much fun CAME i got. IT
i can't tell. You you, Know i've Known kenny for
a long. Time it never Met Brian, bumgarner but a
huge fan of the. Office kevin from the office and
our whole family has the office memorized and so the good,
folks it's SmartLess they must HAVE i don't know how
they must work a matchmaking, service because got three of us,
(25:49):
together they sent us over To scotland to the old
course to play a little golf and just kind of
see how we got. Along and it was just instant.
Chemistry and so we're just interview and every week someone
who likes golf plays, golf has thoughts about, it but
not nothing, technical all, fun, funny bad embarrassing, stories things
(26:10):
that why it's important to them what they loved, about you,
know playing with their dad or weird celebrities are cutting
and so it kind of it resonates with anybody who
likes who's played golf, before and you don't have to
be a stud or a stick and we're getting. Good
we've got a lot of, comedians so we get funny.
People we've, had you, Know Bobby, Flay we've Had Max
(26:31):
homa and just Had Keegan. Bradley but we've had you,
Know Will arnett And Jason bateman and you, know Got
Darius rucker coming. Up we've, got you, know all kind
of interesting. Folks and it's great for me to sit
back and kind of be able to share with the other.
Guys doing that solo like you're doing right now is not.
(26:51):
Easy it's hard when you have two other guys to
kind of you, know. Dish, yeah sometimes sometimes you can
just Play dan. Rebound you don't have, to and so
it's it's kind of nice and so we've we're having
a lot of fun and, yeah It's i'm enjoying.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
It, yeah it's never resonated that Br kevin has a real,
Name Brian, Bombgardner like that's It's kevin from the.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Office it took. Me i'm not gonna. Lie we were over, There,
scott AND i did kind of catch myself several times
TAUSE i just called Him. Kevin and then we were
Interviewing Jason bateman one, time AND i guess they're, all you,
Know hollywood. Guys he got, on he goes good to
see a, bomber And i'm, like, Bomber SO i just
call him the bomber. Now and Therefore kevin never comes
(27:35):
to the equation the, bomber the mad. Bomber and he
hits a golf ball pretty good, way so he kind
of thinks it's why bombing, it and so, hey everybody
wins love. It.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
YEAH i was, like it's not fair that he's on
a podcast because he's most known for his you, know
his facial.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Expressions like what's Interesting he's he's a CLASSICALLY i mean
he's a theater. Major he went to college to be
and yes he is a he's a comedic. Actor but
he's a bright guy and trained and somehow he's Gotten
he's landed With kenny And coopy two, fools AND i
(28:13):
think we're just you, know lowering HIS iq every single.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Podcast So Kenny coopy in Bomb, Okay, Bomber.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
Yeah that's, right The bomber And kenny And kenny is
just an absolute nut and funny and irreverent and weird
and strange and brings up things completely off topic at
the perfect time and is a fun guy to kind
of just shake your head at and shake him up
and love being Around Kenny.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Maine you just you just talked about your your team
and your podcast, mates and you talked about how you
Know bomber is is actually a good stick on the,
course and yet you haven't mentioned, yourself which makes me
feel like you're ready.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Coattails that's All i've ever, done you know. That, yeah
it's just right along AND i got free, swag good free,
hat you, know just probably staying in someone else's place right,
now just you, know just right riding. Along it's been.

play with AND i get invited a lot of. Spots
and you, Know i'm better at the nineteenth hole THAN
i am at the first. Eighteen and SO i do enjoy.

IT i love to. PLAY i love to hit, BALLS
i love to chip and uh AND i love the
relationships That i've made playing. GOLF i have people That
i've played golf with fifteen years ago one, time and
you know we STILL i still get a text from
them every. Month just that that's kind of my favorite
thing about. It and that's WHEN i was trying to
teach my, children, like, look it doesn't matter if you're
(29:52):
a great, player not just be play. Fast you meet great.
People and where else can you spend four hours with
a complete, stranger both doing you want to do and
competing a little, bit you, know winning twenty, bucks losing twenty,
bucks but having some laughs and kind of creating a
bond that never goes. Away and that's why golf is
such a great, game and you can play it for
a long, time.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Yeap for four.
Speaker 1 (30:14):

some of the people you put him with in some
(30:53):
of the lessons and some of the stuff they talk
about you with their, son and it's like it's. Good
they just kind, OF i don't, know they grow up
and they, mature AND i mean some of the most
inappropriate THINGS i ever learned with my dad taking me
to play golf with some of his old buddies WHEN
i was too young to be, there AND i was,
LIKE i remember all those. Lines so it, was, uh.
