Speaker 1 (00:02):
Yo, what's up everybody?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Welcome to another edition of The Fantasy Chee Cheet. I'm
Marcus Grant with Michael Florio and Lakwan Jones. I'm gonna
take your verbiage, LaQuan. Happy Friday Junior, y'all.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
We must have hot You already got hot tags. You
got the fire department in the background, hot tags already
here even started the show.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Started around here.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
We got a lot to talk about today. You know,
training camp is underway, Back Together, Back Together weekend coming
all across NFL media coming up this weekend. So we
did NFC Training Camp Questions on Tuesday show.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
You can go check that out. Uh.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
So we'll do the AFC on today's show. But first
I actually want to start it with guys. You guys, see,
Chuck e Cheese got arrested, like Chuck Cheese, or at
least an employee of the Charles Entertainment Cheese Company was
arrested in Tallahassee, Florida on suspicion of credit card fraud.

(01:16):
The Tallahassee Police Department didn't even have the decency to
let this employee change into their civilian clothes.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
They know what they are doing. They knew what they
were doing.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
They handcuffed him him or I assume it, assume it
to him, although I shouldn't assume that. But handcuffed this
person and walk them out the door with the head
on in front of kids and families. I mean you
can see the kids that the faces are blurred out
in the background, but you see the kids in the
background watching Chuck E Cheese be hauled away to traumatize, Like, not.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Only could they have let him change into his regular clothes,
you could take the head off, right, just do that.
But they knew that they were gonna get this picture.
And I guess police departments are like everything everyone just
wants to go viral and social media nowadays.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I guess he does not look happy.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Man, that's a photo like he's looking right at the
camera like, I.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Mean, I don't know, made sure to get the bat
the patching, you know, Like I don't.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Know, just say, but if you have kids, like do
you live this down? Like, yeah, my dad took Chuck
E Cheese to jail. I guess it depends on a
lot of right, damn my boy, Chuck alone, I would
say the story was brought to my attention by a
really good friend of mine who has never really been

(02:46):
a fan of Chuck E Cheese, Like even when we
were kids, he thought Chuck was creepy and weird and
like just didn't look I mean, he just didn't like
the whole experience. So like I get a text message
and he just said, good, I don't say Chuck E
Cheese is.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I get it. I get it. Man, you guys go
to Chuck E Cheese. I haven't been there in like
thirty years. He's he's a little bit of a creepy guy.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I'll say it is.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
It is a much better experience now than when I
was a kid. The places are they look cleaner, they're
more brightly lit.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
They're always dark and dirty.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
They're always dark and dirty.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
So like they've cleaned that part up, and the they've
gotten rid of the weird creepy animatronic band, Like they
don't they don't have the animatronic band anymore now. When
they do birthday celebrations, they just bring out the person
in the costume who you know, does a dance to
a song and the kids can gather around, and my kids.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Are terrified, like like they were like scared at first
when we first got there, but then you know, as
we kept going, like they were terrified at first of Chuck.
He was scary to me as a kid, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah yeah, Charles, So Charles Entertainment, or at least a
representative of uh, mister Cheese is apparently going to the
pokey until until he or she can prove their innocent
free chuck free Chuck, Maggie says, although if you think
about it, keeping his costume head on means the guy
who was arrested remains anonymous.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Better for him.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I mean, I guess, so, I guess if you want
to the silver linings, I guess that's.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Sat in the back of the car. Though with the
head online, could you get in.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
The back of the take it off? Can you even
fit in the back?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Or he was like slanted, like this is a joke, Like.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
That actually seems more humiliating, uh than anything else. Oh
turns out Kicks says. My daughter yelled at Chucky on
her fifth birthday, got it on video and everything.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
So this is just the thing, right, like kids are
because like I didn't grow up with a Chuck E
Cheese near me. So the one time I went to
one I remember being like these this mouse and his
friends are really weird.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
In me out like yeah, no, I think it's it's
a kind of universal childhood thing, like you know, I
mean there obviously kids who get into it, but definitely
kids who are like, yeah, this is weird and creepy.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
And I don't really want to be here anymore.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
So I think you get both sides of the spectrum
on that one for sure. All right, that's enough of
chuck E cheese. We do have some news to get
to here before we dive into our trading camp questions.
One that popped up this morning in fact question in
the chat from Brian Mitchell about it morning, all, how
worried are you about the Justin Fields injury? So to

(05:32):
catch people up, just in case you had not heard,
Justin Field's left Jets practice this morning was taken off
on a cart. Originally, you know, there's just reports of
Justin Fields is hurt. Not sure what it is. Since
that original report, we have gotten word that it is
a toe injury, according to Ian rappaport, a dislocated non

(05:55):
big toe. So it would appear that it's not very serious.
So that is that is the good news. Because you know, Lakwan,
you sent it to us this morning. I was, you know,
getting the kid ready to go out to day camp
and stuff, and I see that and I'm like, oh,
Jets are just gonna jet.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
But ELQ, it does seem like maybe they've dodged a bullet.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
And this is not a serious thing right now, for sure,
dodge a bullet now that we have more information. I mean, look,
I was on my old man walking. You see the
information just buzzing all over the fantasy streets. I'm like, no,
not my boy, yo, not justin. We got behind him
this season and I feel like, you know, the first
reaction is just like the Jets. What is wrong with

(06:37):
the Jets? Are they cursed? Like That's what it kind
of feels like. But you know, thankfully it's just a
dislocated toe. It's not the big toe, so you don't
worry about planting. He's a mobile quarterback, so that is
definitely gonna be something that we're gonna have to monitor
throughout the season now. So it's one of those things
that you're glad that ain't nothing like achilles or a knee,
because when those first reported, it was like he was
carted off.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I'm like, yo, chill, what happened? Yeah, so definitely, I
think this sort of relax about.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
I know, Florida, you have been big on the Justin
Fields train so far this off season. Did you have
a little bit of a heart palpitation when you saw that?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeah, because I woke up to a text from l
Kwan saying he got carted off, and I started immediately
freaking out.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Oh that was the second text that was like seventeen
minutes later.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
So you were just literally waking up.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Yeah, I was. I Look, I'm not on the GMFB shift.
I was asleep.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Oh this was a kid shift today.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
I woke up though, and I immediately started searching it
and stuff. Not only am I very high on him,
I've drafted him a bunch in the drafts that I've done.
But breathe, everyone like, look, this is an ideal. Obviously
we wouldn't. No injury would be ideal. But this is
one of those injuries that if it happened in season,
we're talking about maybe him missing what a couple of

(07:52):
weeks that most maybe he tries to play through it.
So it's a reminder that Week one is still six
weeks away, still plenty of time for him to get better. Obviously,
these reps are very valuable. You want him out there,
but I think, look, I try to spin these into positives,
this is probably gonna lead to his ADP falling a
little bit. I'm gonna keep drafting him because I was

(08:14):
already pairing him with other quarterbacks, like I wasn't taking
to be my only guy. I'm going to continue to
go that route, but now probably wait around her too
longer to have to do.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
So. Yeah, I'm very curious to see what this does
for ADP for folks who are drafting at this point.
Currently at QB ten is QB ten right now? Wow,
that's not bad. It's not bad, not bad at all.
So we'll see what happens here. But the good news
is it is not as serious as it could have been.
So I'm sure we will get more reports in the

(08:44):
next days and weeks for sure, as things go along. Anytime,
Tyrod Taylor, you're back on the clock.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
He always finds a way, man. I have one buddy
that likes.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
To draft him every year in our home league, and
he's like, he's gonna find a way to start. Man,
he's my guy. He's been riding with him since the
Bills Florio. I mean, you guys will have great conversations
about Tyrod, but Tyrod is still around the league, sticking
around and bloyed, and you might have a shot at
some point of the season.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
If this total get better.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I mean, look, I'm a fan of ty God, but
his his moment in the sun has coming gone.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
I mean, it's his last pick. It's his uncle Rico
pick man. It's annoying when the draft party is are going,
he goes up there and puts Tyrod name up. There's
bro take it off.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Picksmike for real, Why don't you guys just draft him,
like with one of your last picks, just to force
him to like, you know, maybe make a trade or something.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
No, he won't do it. You know. The drought.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Dr Baby, I'll always loved Tyrod before. He was my
favorite player before Josh Allen, you know, because Wow Pills
didn't have much to root for for years.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Tyrod was electric. He was he was one of the.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Play wrong years.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Yeah, I didn't really want to tell you how old
were you when that happens.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
It was what twenty eighteen, so no, sixteen? That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You're like fresh out of high school, right man.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
I was in college, but but like the Bills made
the playoffs in the nineties, I was too little to
appreciate it. So when I really got into football was
like JP Lossman Trent Edwards. So it was two decades
of awfulness and then Tyron got him to the playoffs.
I jumped over my couch when the Bills and the
Bengals beat the Ravens to get to the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Oh yeah, mis JP Lossman.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I drove past his high school alma mater just the
other day, Venice High.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Bills kept taking Southern California quarterbacks and it was like,
they can't play in Buffalo, please.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Stop doing Osman. Matt Barkley, Rob Johnson.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Isn't Trent Edwards a CALLI kid.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I think Trent Edwards is a California kid. That's right,
It's right, you guys. You have something about the West
Coast and it just never.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Went the In Game of Thrones.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
You got a West Coast kid now at quarterback, and
he seems to be doing okay for they.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Went to the snowy part of California for.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
That well, he didn't grow up with this.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
He played college in the snowy part of the country,
but he did not grow up in a snowy part
of California. I'm trying to think, what is the Let's
see what is the weather and fireball At the moment,
the high and fireball.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Is going to be ninety today.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
So Gavin pointed out Fitzpatrick cally kid as well, that's right,
they only take California quarterbacks. I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
That's song with them. I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Other news to get a quarterbacks. Matthew Stafford dealing with
a sore back at the start of RAMS training camp.
Sean McVay says they're just gonna have him work on
the side for the time being. Look, it's July twenty fourth, right,
I mean, Luquan, we sort of talked about this yesterday.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
But what is your concern level at this point? Very low.
I'm more concerned about my back than his. Put it
like that.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
I'm sure right now, I'm sure sitting in in this chair,
I need a new computer chair.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
I'm sitting here hurting. But when you hear the reports, the.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Immediate reaction, you know, the forty nine ers fans, they
get charp chirping, barking early.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
We're not sure we're asking about your starting quarterback here
like that, about what's going on over here because they're
doing a fantasy football show.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Not everything's a shot at you. No, not you, Markus,
not you, Marcus.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
I was on TikTok yesterday and I just had your
first mistake. I had to calm down the forty nine
ers people that follow me for whatever reason they follow me, But.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
It's like, relax out.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Could it also be because you throw rocks at them
all the time, so they're taking the opportunity to throw
rocks back at you.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
They throw rocks at me. I throw boulders back. Okay,
it's been thirty years, thirty years, and you still have
it and you still haven't caught us in Super Bowls.
We don't need to catch We're more relevant today, mkwan.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
When you point the finger, there are three pointing back
at you. You know what I point like this, that's
just weird. But no, I mean see though, I mean
we're not we're not worried right now right about this
this back issue.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
No, because it's July twenty fourth, Like if this is
still an issue in a few I will say though,
if there's ever a time to get worried. It's when
a player is approaching forty years old and like, my
back hurts, Like that's not what you want to hear,
you know, like you you want him to be coming
into the year, like saying, when a player is old,
that's when I want to hear them be like I'm

(13:27):
in the best shape of my life.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
I feel like I'm twenty, you know, but everybody's Tom Brady.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Look Matt Stafford. But the thing is about Stafford, like
his back will be like falling off and he'll still
find a.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Way still play. Yeah, yeah, I mean, for better or worse,
he will find his way on the field, regardless of
his I mean, you know, short of an amputation.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
And heated back, he's just all right.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Could you imagine that? It's like click tied together Human
Centipede or something. It's weird. Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
There's a movie like that which I do not recommend.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
No Cinnipede.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Yeah, there are multiple human Centipedes because I guess they
answered questions. There were unanswered questions at the end of
Human Centipede one.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Yeah, my friends kept trying to get me to watch it,
and I was like, I know the concept that watched.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
It and forced me to watch it. I'm like, dude,
I'm going home. I'm not to call my mom and
come pick me up. Crazy things have your best interest
at heart. Shout out to Ryan mart Man watching from Cornwall, England.
Appreciate you, Appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Check it away love from across the pond, so we're
definitely happy to have you here.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Last bit of quarterback news.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Caleb Williams has set some goals for twenty twenty five
four thousand yards seventy percent completion rate. I declared, I
think on it the last show show before that, that
this is the year that the Bears finally get their
first four thousand yard passer. I think this is the
year it happens LaQuan. Are those numbers realistic for him?

(14:59):
And is it enough to make him a QB one uh?

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Seventy percent is realistic for me? And with Ben Johnson
on the six because we've seen him on he throw
six interceptions, but he threw the ball five hundred and
sixty times, so ball security is obviously in his DNA.
So I think where Ben Johnson just pointing him in
the direction, having to play design to where he doesn't
have to overthink, where it's just fluid, kind of how
we saw Jared Golf come along and Kayler Williams to me, Man,

(15:23):
this this might crack four thousand yards, but I'm thinking
he might be in that forty five hundred yard you
know range where it's just gonna be like, oh wow,
Kayla Williams, is really that guy that he was coming
out of college?

Speaker 2 (15:34):
I mean he went he had to have I think
sixty two percent completion percent is last year. You know,
this year he's got Ben Johnson drawing him up some
other things. So I think it's it's certainly realistic. I
mean floyal QB one. Is that is that realistic? I
mean we're talking top twelve, top ten, top eight. I mean,

(15:55):
what's the ceiling there?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
His ceiling is probably top eight. I would say, I
don't think he runs enough and to get into the
top five, because if you don't run un lot, you
need to put like elite passing numbers like Joe Burrow
put up video game numbers. Last year was the QB three,
you know, so like that running needs to happen. But

(16:17):
I do think is up. I have him ranked as
a QB one because of Ben Johnson and and the
fact that they rebuilt that O line. I don't think
that gets enough talking anymore. Like everyone now is just
like Ben Johnson, Ben Johnson, but like last year it
was every week was like Ben Caleb Williams is the
most sacked quarterback ever through this many games, right, And

(16:38):
eventually you you have that clock in your head that
like you just get happy feet you don't trust it.
So he put up good like completion percentage and took
care of the ball under really poor circumstances. And the
thing with Ben Johnson is a lot of quick, short,
high percentage passes that leads two yards after the catch.

(16:59):
So well, I think completion percentage does get overrated a bit.
I do think these numbers are definitely possible. And yeah,
I'm expecting not only do I think he can do it, guys,
I'm expecting him to be a QB one this year.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah, I think so too.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I would say this the thing that maybe gets overlooked,
Caleb when it comes to rushing yards among quarterbacks was
seventh last year.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
More than your boy, more rushing yards than your boy
wasn't running for his life. Bo wasn't running for his life.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Though it's not an attack on bow knicks or an
attack on you.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
I think it was a direct attack on your stern.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Maybe maybe maybe it was maybe maybe I don't know,
maybe maybe it was a little bit of that. I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
So, you know, I think the rushing upside is sort
of there. We'll see if they design more runs and
he's less you know, running for his life. But you
know we said this before, he runs similar to the
way Patrick Mahomes runs where he's not looking to do that,
but he can do that, and he can occasionally break
off one of those sort of back breaking you know
it's third and eight, he'll run for ten sort of

(18:07):
things there. So we'll say, but I think that the
earrow definitely pointing up on him. Was very surprised to
see he still has like a tenth round ADP crazy.
So maybe people haven't completely bought in yet. I don't know,
not sure. Take a couple of questions from the chat
turnstout kicks asking I'm interested to see how Ashton Jentz

(18:28):
performs with an upgrade of talent in the NFL. You
think he's worth the high draft stock. I know you've
talked about this I don't know if you've talked about
it recently, Floria. It does seem like the ADP is
starting to come down a little bit, but you still
have to pay a high draft prize, and it does
feel like we are drafting him at his ceiling right now.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
I don't know if we're drafting him at his ceiling,
because I do think he can be one of like
a top two or three running back immediately, because I
think he is that good. I have him like Devon
ah Chan, Derrick Henry, him and Bucky Irving. I go
back and forth on between those two, but I think
he I think the sweet spot for him would be

(19:09):
like an early to mid second round pick. I don't
love taking him in the first, which is where he
was going. The closer and closer we go back to
April in the draft, like he was getting really hyped up.
But Pete Carroll has always been a very run heavy offense.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Chip Kelly has always been a very run heavy offense.
So and I think he's a better receiver than he
gets credit for. They just didn't throw to him a
lot in college. If he's gonna get three hundred touches
this year, even with what their ole on is and
three hundred. He could exceed that number, Like I think
he his ceiling is very high. The floor. The difference

(19:47):
for me between him and these other guys is a
lot of these other guys bring a much safer floor
because we're not really sure what that floor looks like
for Gente at the NFL level.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah, I mean, I still just have concerns about the
Raider often as a whole. Can it generate offense? Can
they generate points? And you know, you want guys on
offenses that are going to score a lot of points,
and I'm not sure the Raiders can do that, So
that obviously puts a cap on on what his ceiling
can be. Also the fact that you know, if they're
playing from behind, how involved in the passing.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Game is he going to be as well? So I'm
not really sure about that. Uh this one from the
Great X.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
What do you guys think about the Browns reportedly being
interested in arch Manning? Well, One, if I'm not interested
in arch Manning, I mean, what are what are they
even doing here?

Speaker 3 (20:32):
Two?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
If I'm arch Manning, maybe I talked to my uncle
Eli about, you know.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
For how to get out of Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
How to get out of Cleveland, right, I mean or or.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
Arch can talk to his best friend, which is Lesneed's son,
So there's that connection.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
There as well.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
So he is he yeah, oh oh, you don't want
to you don't want to turn the reins over to
James Richard Garoppolo.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Sir, I will leave this pot now play football. Isett
still on the road?

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Wait, so you guys are taking this year to get
an early pick?

Speaker 5 (21:06):
Whoa whoa got we have stock?

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Are you guys on the march? Are you guys on
the march for Arch? Is that what's happening?

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Or like, did you just look at that right now?

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I came up with that like a couple of weeks ago. Yeah,
the March for Arch?

Speaker 5 (21:20):
I like that, Yeah, no, you know that's not happen.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
It would be hilarious if another Manning strong arms a
team because like the fact that Eli did that to
me is so funny, Like think about everything we know
about Eli Manning, right, that's how his like he was
like a mob boss. Like, nah, I'm not playing there.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
I honestly think the Browns should not be allowed to
draft next year because there's a lot going on that
they need to figure out first in QB House before
they add another one or even find interest in another one.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
By the way, just see the helmet reveal the fell
on the water. The dude fell the water.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yes, that just feels like that metaphor is too on
the nose, right, like it just it just seems too
on the nose.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
They should have all of their quarterbacks out there, just
like it.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Does all o man. I mean, how long would that
be though?

Speaker 2 (22:13):
If they have, like, you know, should do whe Sanders
announced the pick and it's arch man.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Team should do that though.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
All their quarterbacks, you know, through history, are able to
you know, do a group photo, you know, and I
just want to see how many Browns starting quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
You need a wide angle lens to get all the
Browns quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
And that Stafford might be the oldest of that bunch.

Speaker 6 (22:31):
To stern, thirty seven is not old man, not for
the earth.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
No, not for the earth.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
It's not Oh my god, man, stop one last one
here from Christian Rodgers. Are we giving Quinton Johnston another chance?
I will draft Kyle Pitch before I draft this man.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
And I'm saying that to why I am I'm tired
of this hype. But I'll let you guys tron it
out because you know, wow, I.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Mean, I hope, I hope he develops, but I'm also
going to let him be someone else's problem.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
I'm not looking at draft I'm not like bullishly drafting
him or whatever. But I'm rooting from afar because I
would love for Quentin Johnston to succeed. I do for
what it's worth. I do think he is going to
have a not a large role, but like a consistent
role in the charge. It might not be very fantasy friendly,
but he is going to have a role in this

(23:33):
offense in my opinion.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Yeah, I think so. I think so. Yeah, let's see
the problem. What's the problem.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I just can't consistently get open and you know, and
he still has problems with drops. I mean, other than that,
how'd you like to play Missus Lincoln?

Speaker 3 (23:51):
You know, I do. I do feel like, you.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
Know, he could he literally could be an option in
this offense. But it's a matter of what's happening behind him.
Like KeAndre Lambert Smith is gaining this buzz out of
nowhere just because of a couple of clips. But I'm
just saying there's other guys around him that could step
into that role and perform aka Trey Harris.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
I think they're gonna have different roles. I think Harris
might be the X, whereas.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
QJ is like their wide receiver three, which actually is
a perfect segue to our AFC training camp questions. One
of the ones we had on here, we had at
number four, but when we went to number one, just
because we're already talking about it, confidence in Chargers wide
receivers not named Ladd. I mean we did a show
a couple of weeks ago is here on the cheat
sheet where we talked about whether or not, you know,

(24:44):
Lad was being drafted at his ceiling, what happens if
maybe he regresses? And ever since that show, everything keeps
coming up Millhouse, right, like, everything keeps turning up in
Lad McConkie's favor, much to Florio's amusement.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
I'm buying a Laddin Conky shirt. I got a fine one.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I look, I was.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
I was one of Ladd's lads last year too, and
so I still think there's some some value there. But
everything about what's happened this offseason, right, I mean, Mike
Williams retires, uh, you know, Trey Harris finally shows up
after you know, I guess a mini holdout if you will.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
It's just LaQuan.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
It's it's getting harder to deny that Ladd McConkie, like Thanos,
might just be inevitable.

Speaker 5 (25:30):
I know, I know it feels that way, but I'm
not going to be. Look, I have no problem with
him being drafted as your wide receiver too. We've spoken
about this plenty of times. But it's just the fact
that the louder the crowd gets, the more bullish that
his ADP is going to start creeping up beyond some
players that I would rather have, Like I rather have
AJ Brown. I have AJ Brown rank higher than him.

(25:50):
But why are we having guys like Drake London being
even in question with Ladd McConkie or Brian Thomas Junior,
Where I feel the way I feel about Trevor mid Lawrence.
I still would take Ryan Thomas Junior over a lad
because I think it's going to be a low pass
volume offense and I'm sticking to that.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Man.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
I just feel like the ceiling that we're honestly paying
now is people are thinking he's about to go out
there and have like some type of Milik neighbors volume
coming his way. No, I see one hundred and twenty
targets being the ceiling of where we see lad mccakeey.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
I mean that's one. That's a pretty good ceiling.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I mean, I don't one hundred and thirty, one hundred
and forty targets yet you don't think that's really a lot.

Speaker 5 (26:33):
It is a lot, But that means that none of
the wide receiver two stepped up. I mean, none of
the tight ends are even serviceable for at least fifty
to six None of that, though, But what do you mean.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Because also also that's part but also.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
Had a hundred He had one hundred and thirteen I
believe last year.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah, and I said one hundred and twenty, it would
be the ceiling. That's not far off from last year.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
But that's seven more than he had as a rookie.
Like where he's like identity, he's we've already talked about.
He started off slow. The chargers weren't like Herbert was hurt.
They weren't throwing much early on.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
But also, isn't there a strand of the multiverse where
the wide receiver twos don't work out, and where the
tight ends don't offer anything. I mean, how much how
much faith do you really have in Will Disley or
Tyler Conklin at this point, you know, I mean we
just we just sat here and talked about whether or
not we're buying into Quentin Johnston. Right, We're not sure.

(27:29):
We hope Trey Harris is a thing. We don't know
for sure. So, like, like I said, everything everything, he's
coming up mconkey, right, I mean, yeah, I know KeAndre
Lambert Smith is you know, so far in camp in
shorts is a social media buzz darling. Certainly in the
realm of possibilities that McConkie ends up being a target monster,

(27:53):
if for no other reason just by default.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Yeah, but like again, this would mean that his will
have to increase, the passing will have to increase. But
the identity of this offense has kind of shown us
what they want to do, and that's run the ball
with two additions that can do that. That's just my
only argument there. Yeah, That's why I'm a little hesitant,
all right.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Speaking of running the football, free Chuck, free Chucky. It's
his bail. I want to look that uf Man.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
I don't know. You should just steal some more credit
cards and use that to pay him.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
There he is.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
I mean you mentioned running running the football. Not a
lot of encouraging news about Najie Harris, no, so.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Which helps lead Oh my god, he's back. My question
to you guys is why are we like Look, I
get it, Drake London is awesome, but like a lot
of these questions that I think could apply the lad
could also apply to Drake London, like what if they

(29:03):
are a very run heavy offense this year? The Falcons
because Bijeon's their best player. Michael Pennix, he had some
moments in his three games, but he didn't look great
in those three games. Like the I think he comes
with a lot of questions too.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
The Pennocks question, I think concerns me more than the
running the ball question, right because the same they gave
Bijon the ball a lot last year and Drake London
still had a ton of targets. So I if there's
anything that makes me a little nervous about Drake London situation,
it's more of you know, we just keep assuming that
Michael Pennock is going to be an upgrade over what
we saw from Kirk Cousins last year. And there's no

(29:41):
guarantee of that, right because how many years did we
say in our pursuit of Kyle Pitts, well, quarterback plays
going to be better this year, and like it just
never was.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
But Pitch was hurt.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Kyle Pitch was battling injuries.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Like I hate to leave that out because that is
a cop out, but I do feel like, you know,
he has to get it together this year.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
You have the quarterback, you have the.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
Offensive mine with Zach Robinson, you have many pieces around
you to thrive and be you know, a distraction too.
So I do feel like Kyle he is set for
success again this season, just.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
With a little bit more upgrades around him.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yavin, can we clip this for posterity? It was a
La Kwan taping up for Kyle Pitts.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Literally, all that three years in a row just kept
me in the quarterback can't be worse.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Lord, Please let the Falcons be worth it Dan this year.
It's hard living in Georgia having to cheer for them.
I mean, Gosh is higher than it's ever been with Falcons.
Fans are among God's strongest soldiers. I just I don't know, man,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Man.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
They were in the Super Bowl. I know it was
the worst super Bowl to be in, but like you
could be you could be like the Titans, you know,
and just no one cares mooring.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Yeah, at least people like you're paying attention to, even
if it's just for laughs.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
People pay attention for sure.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Other training camp questions, uh, Floria, what even are the Dolphins?

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Good question? The Dolphins are a team that abandon the
deep ball last year because they have a quarterback who
has taken a lot of really big hits and they
don't want to see him take many big hits because
if he goes down, the entire house of cards falls.
So what they did instead was they built the offense

(31:31):
around Davon Chan and Johnny Smith. I just had Waddle
and Tyreek Hill there as big, paid, complimentary pieces. And
that is my fear for this season.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
I just I put this in here one because I
know we sort of touched on it the other day,
just not really sure what is the situation. But then
seeing a headline to a tongue of Ilois as relationship
with Tyreek Hill is still a work in progress, and
I'm like, wait, what what are huh he heard all
that stuff like this will be year four of these

(32:05):
guys together in Miami. What do you mean it's still
a work in progress? Like how have we not gotten
this together yet?

Speaker 5 (32:15):
I mean, look, Tyreek crashed out last year and that
was more so of like why are you speaking publicly
like this, Like you're on Snapchat and naming your top
five leaving two out of it.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
You get asked if you if you're ready for you know,
the upcoming season. You kind of leave a stalemate type
of answer.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
It's like, yeah, you got to work on that relationship, man,
And like that's good leader trades out of two, keeping
his veteran wide receiver accountable, Like you rarely see that
even played out in public.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
So that shouts out to Tua. That was it. That
was a good press conference, putting them on blast like that.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
And it's just a wild though how Tyreek sort of
switched up like that, because remember when he first got
to Miami and he made the comment about how Tyreek
is more how Tua is more accurate accurate than Mahomes
and like, which was we're all like the whole football
ward was like screwt what and like right, But then
he went out and had like an even better season.
You know, he would had seventeen h yard he had

(33:09):
a career high that first year. Uh yeah, I mean
what almost eighteen hundred yards two years ago. Like so
it was like, oh, okay, well maybe you have something
going with with Tua here, But then now two was like, yeah,
we're still a work in progress and like, I don't
get it.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Last year to it was like after he returned, it
was like two point four seconds he was getting the
ball out of his hands, like it was by far
the fastest rate in the NFL. And to me, that's
by design.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah, for sure it is. I just
you know, I think this is kind of a make
or break year for the Dolphins as we know them.
If they don't get any times then yeah, I mean
I think, honestly, I think for for this group to
sort of stay intact for the most part, they have

(33:55):
to make the playoffs, and I think they have to
win a playoff game. I think that's yeah, that playoff
for bus. I think it's definitely playoffs for sure. But
I think they even have to win a playoff game.
I think if they just get to the playoffs and
get bounced in the first round. I think Mike McDaniel's gone.
I think they just kind of break this thing up
and try to start it over again.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
So, I you know, are you so?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
I know l C's in on Tyreek?

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Are are you?

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Marcus?

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (34:21):
I don't. I don't think I'm gonna go heavy on Tyreek.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
But it also feels foolish to not at least take
some swings right at a guy that is still incredibly explosive. Yeah,
I mean I think I think I think you would
be silly to not at least take a couple of shots.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
He's one of those players that because we play in
so many leagues, I agree. But if I was in
like one or.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Two leagues, I don't know that I'd have it.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
I'm not going for me. It would be Devon h
Chan or bus with the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's probably no Darren Waller.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
I mean, maybe are no leading the rapper on the
pub list?

Speaker 5 (35:00):
Man, this is funding his next album? This was what
this check is?

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Is that what this is? Anything? Yes, trying to play
for studio time.

Speaker 5 (35:08):
There you go, smart man.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
If he's in that John h role, I oh, man,
I just I'm envisioning Lakwan with like teal hair or
something like that.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Teal teal. Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
I think Caleb Johnson is gonna be a great backfinished
top twelve. I guess yeah, that's right, that's your cure
for insomnie, right, Lakwan watching Caleb Johnson's tape. I just
think Jalen Warren. I think Jalen Warren prevents that from happening. Yeah,
that's it.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
But I do think Caleb could be like Top twenty.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
Yeah, it's not even Jalen Warren. It's the fantasy streets
boogey man.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
Arthur Smith.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
What are we talking about? We saw him put a
cap on Bijeon.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
Arthur Smith is the sizes though he likes the bigger back.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
Oh man, I'm trying to figure out the mind. Jeez,
I have a down year or is he still no?
Why I'm still there? All right?

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Jade Dan's gonna have a down year, He'll will he
still produced. I think he's gonna be fine.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
I think he could be even better better. Hold one
more yak with Deebo and they didn't throw the ball
much the first half of the year because he was
a rookie QB, who then was dealing with the rib injury.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Yeah, yeah, I have I have zero concerns about Jayden
Daniels this year. It would be nice for the commanders to,
you know, get their stuff together and make Terry McLaurin happy.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
But beyond that.

Speaker 4 (36:43):
Yeah, if Terry holds out, that could be the thing
that leads to Jaden.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
Not But we got six weeks until week one, Like,
I think it gets done.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
I think it gets done. No, I think for sure
it gets done. Yeah, six weeks.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Once we get to three weeks, two weeks away from
week one, then it's like, all right, you gotta now,
we gotta.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Now, we gotta, we gotta button it up. We gotta
lock it in. Uh lock in? What we lock it in?

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Are we sure Josh McDaniels can unlock the Patriots offense?
I mean you look at you look at Josh McDaniel's
track record. I obviously as a head coach, not great,
you know, ass Raider fans asked Broncos fans. Not great
as an offensive coordinator though, you know the at least

(37:38):
the reputation is that he's a good oh C. Yeah,
but when you dive a little bit deeper, he also
mostly had Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
I was about to say that you had greats, Yes,
you had all time greats had quarterback.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
I don't even know, like like my ex dictations for Drake,
like solely on Drake May could be top fifteen, and
that's not like a hot take or anything out of
the range that could possibly happen because of the mobility
that he brings. But it's just like we still have
unknowns of the wide receiver group, We still have unknowns
if this O line is going to improve this year.
So it's like there's a lot of questions. So I

(38:18):
don't know if he can come in and fix all
these issues and make this like a dynasty in a building.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
And I don't know.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
That's just one of the things where I'm not really
like high on drafting Stefan Diggs in multiple leagues. I'm
not high on getting a ton of Drake May in
a bunch of leagues because it's still the Patriots offense
of what we've seen since post Tom Brady.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Flora, you are the leading Drake May stand on this show.
Is McDaniel Is he the skeleton key to actually, like
you know, unlock this and take it to the next level.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
I don't know if I would call him the skeleton key.
I think the fact that Drake May is very, very talented,
uh is that. But my fear with this offense is
Mike Rabral has never really been a coach that likes
to throw the ball a lot. And you could point
to who he had and stuff like that in Tennessee,

(39:13):
Derek Henry, Ryan Tannhill, all of that. But I think
he has a formula and I think the money that
they invested in their defense kind of indicates that they
want to play a certain way. So I really love
Drake May. I think he is awesome for real life purposes.
I do think he should be targeted as more of
an upside QB two. I wouldn't want to take him

(39:34):
as my one because of those concerns. But that makes
me go all in on Trevion Henderson. I am. I'm
going to have probably more Henderson than anyone else this year.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
Wow, all right?

Speaker 2 (39:48):
Any faith and McDaniel's another three and fourteen season incoming?

Speaker 5 (39:52):
Sheesh came and win five games the Patriots if they
are three and fourteen this year and would actually be
a step back because they were four and thirteen last year.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
I just all I want. I just want.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
Patriots fans to keep the same energy for Mike Vrabel
that they had for Dirod Mayo last year.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Fat, That's all I want. I just want you to
keep the same energy.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Because it was like a month into the season and
Patriots fans were already like, he's got to go. You know,
he's not right for this team, blah blah nah, just
fig ignoring the fact that this was not a super
talented team. They didn't have a lot of depth, you know,
like everybody knew it was going to be a rebuilding situation.

(40:40):
And so why all of a sudden, Mayo is being
held to this like higher standard, I didn't really understand.
So if if that really is what they're gonna be
again this year, I just want Patriots fans to keep
that same energy.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
That's all I'm asking.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
I would almost guarantee they're gonna win more games this year.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
I mean I think they will too. Five at least justin.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
Their defense is just or it should be, at least
on paper it is.

Speaker 5 (41:03):
Yeah, some seasoned linebackers there up there in age a
little bit, you know, they'll be able to stop the
run and their secondary Gonzales is amazing.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
He's a stud. So yeah, just don't throw to that side.
Got pieces. Don't get piece for sure, Florida. Who's the
real CJ. Stroud.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
I don't think we've seen him yet. I think his
rookie year was closer to the real CJ. Stroud. But
I think he ran insanely hot and had the deep ball,
was the most effective in the NFL, and then last
year the deep ball really fell off a cliff. The

(41:41):
thing with him is he needs to have more time, right,
like because in college it was a big concern, Like
he's great until the play starts to break down and
he's under pressure. Then that's when he starts to seem
a little bit rattled. I don't think. I just think
the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think his
rookie year everything kind of broke right for him, and
I think last year everything kind of broke wrong for him.

(42:03):
So this year probably somewhere close. Like I don't think
he's ever gonna be top five, you know, Like like
rookie year, he was kind of flirting with that. Like,
I think he's more of a low end QB one.
If things break right. But I was talking a friend
of mine the other day who was like, he's going
closer to QB twenty, Like I'm gonna draft him in
a bunch of leagues and just hope he looks like
his rookie yearself. And it's not a bad strategy. It's

(42:25):
like your QB two.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
No, not at all.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
I would feel better if you could guarantee me that
the Texans offensive line was improved. Yeah, that part he was. Yeah,
he was under duress, to say the least a lot
last year. So that's what happened.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
He didn't even have his weapons, like only three and
a half games where he had the trio, and like,
guys are just falling out left and right, like Week four,
Tank Dell and then what the first quarter of the
Week five, Nicole Collins goes down after scoring a touchdown.

Speaker 7 (43:01):
So it's like against the Bills, Oh, yeah, that was yeah,
I know, you're right. I mean one they they won, Oh,
mister field goal at the end of the game.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
That was just me stirring the pot. Bro that does
not deserve it. I know exactly what what play it was.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
Yeah, I mean they had Stefan Diggs for half the season.
Like it just was not what they wanted. Now hopefully
we'll see if the the pair of Cyclones that they
drafted can can step up with Higgins and Noel.

Speaker 3 (43:35):
Yeah, but there are questions.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
I think Kirk is their number two personally.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
I think he's this year.

Speaker 5 (43:42):
I think he's asleep.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
I think so I do.

Speaker 4 (43:48):
He's one of those guys that you wouldn't ever want
to start, Like when you draft your team, you're gonna
be like, all right, he's a bench guy, bye week
type of replacement. But then Nico Collins gets hurt and
all of a sudden, you're like, all right, Christian Kirk now,
and now he's looking at ten targets a game or
something like.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Let him cook.

Speaker 4 (44:04):
That's how I see him.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
QB upgrade. Come on now, let him cook? Why because
he didn't have Trevor Lawrence anymore?

Speaker 5 (44:11):
Trevor mid Lawrence. We need to pronounce his name correctly.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
I mean, but couldn't you say he's Christian mid Kirk?

Speaker 4 (44:18):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (44:18):
We go on disrespect Kirko like that?

Speaker 2 (44:20):
Well, what do we disrespect him? He had the one
big season right that first year in Jacksonville. We were
all like pointing and laughing, like ha ha. You spent
so much for Christian Kirk and then he goes for
eleven hundred yards. We all have to shut up, right,
that's it. That is the old that is the outlier season.

Speaker 4 (44:33):
In the next year, he was putting up numbers until
he got.

Speaker 3 (44:38):
Hurt though, which is the story of Christian Kirk's career.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
The Texans are hoping their receivers just like miss games
at different times, right, Like like Kirk, when you miss
your month, hopefully Niko is healthy, and then Niko when
you miss your month, hopefully like because those are those
guys that consistently stay healthy.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
Why why why are we trying to make their wide
receiver room like a shift at a fast food place, Like,
hey man, you're on your fifteen minute break and I'm
on the friar, and then when you come back, I'm
gonna go outside and take a break for the Like I.

Speaker 4 (45:09):
Would love for them both to play seventeen games. It
just yeah, it doesn't seem like a small bet.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
That I can agree on.

Speaker 5 (45:16):
I don't know both of them played seventeen games, but
what if they did?

Speaker 3 (45:21):
What if Floyda, this one's for you, U k be
a legit wide receiver? One this season.

Speaker 4 (45:27):
I don't think he he They're gonna go into the
season with him as the one. I think Shakira will
be their top target. I think it goes under the
raidar that Kincaid was often their top target when he
was before he got hurt. But I do think Coleman
is in a battle with Josh Palmer, and I think
Coleman brings a good amount of upside, especially for a
receiver you get outside of the top fifty and ADP

(45:49):
right now. He wasn't the same when after he got
hurt last year, and that's something that him the Bills
everyone was very vocal on. But if he he was
starting to look like he was breaking out prior to injury,
there there's incentive there for them to get him the ball.
I I don't mind taking dart throws on him or

(46:09):
Josh Palmer because someone is going to have to be
the outside number one option for Josh Allen because shakirs
in the slot, Kinkaid is more over the middle, so
they're both really cheap. Take take pick which one do
you like more, and throw a late round dart on him.
But I do think Coleman brings a lot more upside
than the fantasy community might be talking about.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
Are you still willing to put Dalton Kincaid on a
rocket ship straight to the death Star.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
I'll give you a little sneak peek. I'm writing the
top ten tight end values and and Dalton Kincaid is
in there.

Speaker 3 (46:38):
Oh whoa, so he sort of back in. We were
back in, We're back up. Huh.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
I'll never forgive him for dropping that pass against the Chiefs.
But the dude was seeing like something like nine ten
targets a game before he got hurt, all right, putting
the pull any stringer belt, put the word on the
street back up, that's a that's what it is. My producer,
who's a Chargers fan, said that Josh Palmer is considerably
more mid than Christian Kirk.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
I would I would agree with that.

Speaker 5 (47:04):
I just put the swinging toilets in the chat.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
That's what I just did.

Speaker 4 (47:09):
Yeah. Hey, if it if it was that battle on
like a different team, sure, But when you're you're competing
to be Josh Allen's deep threat, you got my attention,
all right?

Speaker 3 (47:22):
All right?

Speaker 2 (47:23):
How many leagues is too many to be in? I'm
usually in at least ten. Do I have a problem.
You're probably talking to the wrong people. Yeah, you're asking
the wrong folks about people.

Speaker 4 (47:31):
Tell them my number.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
It's what's wild is that I like people are mind blown, right,
I tell them my number, and then I follow it
up with like, I feel like among people in the industry,
I'm way on the low end.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
I don't even yeah, yeah, same, I don't count best
balls or anything like that either, Like I count leagues
that I.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Actually to manage.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
Yeah, But even then, like I am way on the
low end, I think compared to a lot of people
in this industry, but it's still usually in double digits.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
I I don't have mental capacity to do more than
I'm always in double digits. But like even then, I'm like,
I give my all to like six, right, because it's
just that's what.

Speaker 3 (48:11):
It ends up with me.

Speaker 5 (48:12):
Like it's always a strong six to seven leagues out
of the double digit numbers that I've joined since February,
and those are the focus.

Speaker 3 (48:19):
So I need well.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
And usually what happens is after the first three four weeks,
you can tell like which teams actually have potential and
which ones are just bad, right, and the ones where
it's like, all right, there's something here. You know, either
like it's a home league you're always gonna give your
your full attention to because it's the home league. The
other ones that's like, all right, well, this team's actually
not pretty bad. I'm gonna I'm gonna actually put something,

(48:41):
you know, and like the ones that are like, all right,
this this one it's not working out, Like you don't quit,
you know, you're still setting lineups and stuff like that,
but maybe it just doesn't, you know, it goes, but.

Speaker 4 (48:52):
I'm not the priority in the waiver wire.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Yeah, that's the worst part of playing too many leagues
is having to do waivers every week.

Speaker 5 (49:00):
My issue is I am like so close to getting
all my leagues that I participate in on one app,
because I'm still dealing with three other apps right now
trying to get them all.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
The one that app being NFL of course, right obviously
NFL dot Com duh for sure, duh.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
You know I actually do uh real quick.

Speaker 2 (49:20):
But what actually do is they I also make a
I make a bookmark folder, and I just put all
the leagues in there so I can just go like
bing bing bing bing bing bing bing.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
I'm a mad man, and I just go through each
app and I'm like, did I get everyone?

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Yes, yeah, because I used to do that and I
inevitably would like it would be like week seven, I'm like,
oh crap, I totally forgot about this league on this
app or on this platform.

Speaker 4 (49:40):
Here's one tip for you guys, cause I know you
guys also like like put out waiver wire content on
Tuesdays and stuff. What I've started doing is I will
when I'm doing that in the morning, I will put
my waivers in then, because the worst thing is like
working all day and then being done and being like,
now I got to spend an hour putting in waiver claims.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
So that actually is really smart because it's.

Speaker 4 (50:00):
Like in in that moment.

Speaker 2 (50:01):
There's plenty of times where I'm like finishing my prep
for the night and it's like eleven thirty and I'm.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
Like, oh crap, I gotta do Waivers four five.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
At that point, it's just like, man, uh, Corey Miller,
I'm interested to see a camp Scataboo and Tyrone Tracy
Junior combo you and US, you and us both all
four of us combo.

Speaker 3 (50:19):
Yes, Yes, I'm big.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
I think cam Cam becomes the heavy on that combo.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I think I think I still think gonna lead. I
think I think best case.

Speaker 4 (50:31):
It's yeah, Tracy probably has six forty in Cam's favor.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
Yeah, I still I would love. I don't think it happens.
I think Tracy's catching them that nobody's talking about.

Speaker 4 (50:46):
I do if Singletary is involved, it's going to be
an absolute nightmare, which is on the cards. But Gable
has been Singletary like three times already in his life.
I do. I do think we're gonna see these two
on the field a lot more often than maybe consensus.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
Things that'll be interesting.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
I feel like Devin Singletary, the Brian Dable Devin Singletary relationship,
it's like it's like the East Coast version of like
Sean McVay Cam Akers.

Speaker 3 (51:13):
Right, it's just no, that was just more successful, just.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Just you know, but it's like the like we're beefing,
we're not talking to each other, but it's like, hey,
you know, you want to go get coffee, and then
like everything like you know, works out, irons itself out
for like a couple of weeks, and then something else
happens and it's like, you.

Speaker 3 (51:32):
Know, who ignited that beef?

Speaker 5 (51:34):
Though it was Liam Cohen. He was the offensive coordinator
and that's when we had and he enhanced it that
you definitely look. That's why I'm saying next year, I
think with Sean McVay getting that inspiration, you know, talking
about versatility, wanting to get the burnbacks involved, I think

(51:54):
we might see that this year with trying to make
jar qu Hunter qu Hunter Blake Listen, bro it happened
already though we've seen it happen with cam Akers and companies,
so I think why.

Speaker 4 (52:06):
Not go back to cam Akers. Is the only time
that mcvay's used a committee.

Speaker 5 (52:14):
But listen, that was the last time the run game
is the most effective. That was literally the last time
we were a top ten rushing attack these last couple
of years going this workhorse love for Kyen. That's the
reason why we're at the bottom of the league when
it comes to rushing and explosive plays. Not putting it
all on Kyraen because you guys are making that face
like I hate him.

Speaker 3 (52:32):
I don't hate him, it's just facts.

Speaker 4 (52:36):
I just think that McVeigh likes to have a lead dog.

Speaker 5 (52:41):
Yeah, because of the Todd Gurley era, but we seen
the mistakes that were made. We ran Gurley to the ground,
and that's exactly what is going to happen if we
keep going this route with the workhorse mentality, split the backfield,
make it more creative.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
Yeah, but he's a fifth round running back like that.
That's what these guys are for.

Speaker 5 (53:00):
God, it only works if you get the committee going.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
McVeigh please. I'm just I don't I don't know, man.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
I went on the Insiders the other day and said
the league neighbors is going to lead the NFL in
receiving yards.

Speaker 5 (53:14):
Oh, I can get behind that with three different quarterbacks
throwing him the ball.

Speaker 4 (53:17):
Yeah, I don't hear that. I also think he can
be the best fantasy wide receiver. That just depends on
how the touchdowns fall.

Speaker 5 (53:25):
All right, all right, that's the big part.

Speaker 3 (53:27):
Yeah, touchdowns. He could definitely have crazy yards.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
I'm sitting here. I'm sitting here just messing around with stuff.
As you guys talk, keep talking, Williams.

Speaker 4 (53:40):
Stop, no, no, Kyrene william I put him in my
top ten running back values too, So I'm like at
the late third, early fourth, all day, take it.

Speaker 5 (53:50):
Take it like he's a value. I put him in
that group of where I feel like you can target
him Bryce Hall, Joe Mixon, James, like he's in that
bag of guys of like that's falling a little bit
later than they actually should and then they are like
dark horses to be locks in the top ten.

Speaker 3 (54:04):
So I'm on that. I'm on that train. Man.

Speaker 5 (54:06):
It's just I'm not real life me like fantasy football,
you know. Outside of that Rams fan, it's like, please
don't go workhorse with Hyroen, like split the back, please please, I'm.

Speaker 4 (54:17):
Biting for what it's worth. I do think like Hunt
probably Hunter or Coreum, like they'll have a role. Yeah,
but I like, I mean literally last year, Kiren led
the NFL in like percent of teams carries touchdowns yards,
Like even if that comes down a little bit, He's

(54:38):
he's gonna be great for fantasy in my opinion.

Speaker 5 (54:41):
Yes, but I think he suffers in the red zone
because we added Davante Adams, so he's not gonna be
the target there.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
Oh my god, what the heck is? Wait?

Speaker 2 (54:57):
Are you not familiar with this meme? Like the friendship?
Oh friendship ended with Kiren? Now Jarques is my best
friend I know about.

Speaker 3 (55:07):
I thought you knew this meme. You guys, I thought
you were familiar. I'm not familiar with your game. Oh
my god.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Sorry, that's what I was doing while I was filibustering here.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
You just did that, now, yeah, I just did that
just as you were, Just as you were.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
That's xed out. Is Hunter the best of the RB
threes in the NFL?

Speaker 5 (55:37):
Oh that is actually a good question, because I mean, James,
I mean, I can't think would, but I'm gonna go
with no.

Speaker 3 (55:45):
There's gotta be something. We're gonna put this together. We're
gonna put this together.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
I'm gonna look all right for me out of here
because we only got a few more minutes here. George
Pickens said he and CD Lamb are like Mario Brothers
with Cowboys with cowboys. I assume that's why you wore
the super Mario Brothers shirt. I had no idea, he
said that, because I'm like, what, I don't even know
what that even means? Like, what does that mean?

Speaker 4 (56:07):
It probably means that one of them is going to
carry a franchise and the other one is going to
have a good game every so often.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
Oh, like Mario is the one who carries the franchise.

Speaker 4 (56:19):
Yeah, that's CD. Wow, and then George Pickins has Luigi
Mansion every every cool though I'm not saying he's not,
but I mean, yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
You know the movie Luigi was when who got kidnapped
and Mario had to save the day.

Speaker 4 (56:37):
They made Luigi to soft in that movie, like the
fought ghosts in an abandoned mansion.

Speaker 3 (56:42):
Times.

Speaker 5 (56:43):
He's might go to and super smash brothers like Melee.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
He was elite.

Speaker 5 (56:46):
He was okay character that I fought hours to get. Yes,
Luigi is that.

Speaker 3 (56:51):
Dude, man.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
So it made me think that, like, what are their
you know, NFL duos with the video game character, because
we already got you got Sonic and Knuckles in Detroit. Yeah,
I feel like Jamar Chase and t Higgins are that
Kennon ryuu Ryu whatever.

Speaker 3 (57:06):
You Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 6 (57:09):
Chuck Free, Chuck.

Speaker 4 (57:13):
Chuck.

Speaker 3 (57:15):
Oh my god, this is great.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
And then I had the Packers wide receiversus like Mario Kart,
because like you didn't, anybody can win at any on
any given day. You just don't know who it's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (57:27):
Seriously, Mario Party, very It's Mario Party.

Speaker 3 (57:32):
It's just like this.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
There's the whole much people that are all doing things
and then like one of them wins. Like it it's
literally Mario party.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
Is there a game where someone sabotages? Because that's what
the Giants quarterbacks were.

Speaker 3 (57:45):
The Molik names among they're among us among us.

Speaker 5 (57:48):
Yeah, game pretty fun?

Speaker 4 (57:52):
Uh score and sub Zero that could be George Pickens
And when I was I was going.

Speaker 5 (57:58):
To say that from Pooka and for Adams, but I
don't think they will ever be chem enemies.

Speaker 3 (58:04):
But yeah, I mean that would have been though.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
Now Scorpion and sub Zero could have been like if
George Pickens stayed in Pittsburgh, it could have been DK
and George Pickens is like.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
Scorpion sub Zero something like that. So yeah, fire.

Speaker 4 (58:20):
Something yesterday and they were like, Pickens is saying all
the right things, man, but let's wait until that first
game where CD gets fifteen targets and he gets five.
And I was like, yeah, that that's gonna be when
you got to be watching.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
It's all love right now, like everything's great and July
but yeah, you know, like they're they're hanging out, it's
all good times at training camp. But no, you're right
the first day, the first time that Pickens you know,
feels like he's open and Dak is going to CD
over and over again.

Speaker 3 (58:50):
That's when it'll be put.

Speaker 4 (58:51):
To the test. I do think Pickens like, I know
you're high on him, Ilke like, I think he could
go off potentially, but it's gonna be a really entertaining
watch from the outside.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
Sus Sure, So all right, I think that's enough a
little bit of housekeeping. Next week we will be at
RAMS training camp. We will we'll back with you on
watching with on Monday. I don't even know what we're
doing anything.

Speaker 4 (59:17):
We'll be we're figuring stuff out.

Speaker 2 (59:19):
We are figuring stuff out. Things are in progress. So
right now, according to the schedule I'm looking at it,
we are set to be doing our normal show on Tuesday,
but then on Wednesday we'll be recording from RAMS camp,
so that will probably that will probably be released on
Thursday in place of us doing a cheat sheet, so
we'll have some interviews with some players from there on Wednesday.

(59:43):
Look for that to come out on Thursday, and then
very soon I'm not sure how soon. We actually maybe
going to multiple shows, like three shows a week. We're
scheduled to have actor Scott Porter, you may know as
Jason Street from Friday Night Lights.

Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
The original arch Manning, if you would, the original arch Manning.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
So he'll be with us now to talk some fantasy.
He's a big football fan, big fantasy guy. I know
he's a Broncos fan, so and we'll talk to him
about some of that stuff. But yeah, we got things happening,
so so yeah, come hang out with us, for sure.
But appreciate you guys, hang out with us. Appreciate all
the comments in the chat. We appreciate you guys. Were
certainly grateful for you all hanging out with us. But

(01:00:26):
thanks to Gavin for you know, playing along and popping
up fun things. Free Chuck Free, Chuck Man, Good luck, Chuck,
good luck to Charles Entertainment Cheese. Hopefully you can find a
good lawyer down there in Tallahassee in the meantime. For
la quand for Florio, I am Marcus. This has been
the fantasy chee chet. Enjoy the week, and everybody, we'll
talk to you again next week.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
I don't know
