Speaker 1 (00:11):
What is up?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Welcome to another edition of the Fantasy cheefs Sheet. I'm
Marcus Grant, joined by Lakwan Jones. Happy Thursday, al Q man,
how you feeling.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Today, Friday Junior? Man, the vibes are high Man.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Friday Junior. Indeed, Yeah Man, No Florio. He is on
his way to New Orleans. I believe it's a bachelor party.
He's the best man, so he had to organize it.
I hope he wasn't the one who chose New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
I was about to say not.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Because it's a bad city. Look, I've been to New
Orleans a few times. I've loved it. I've had a
great time. Right now not the best time to be
going to Nola. We were checking the weather reports. Right
now it's eighty two degrees with eighty seven percent humidity,
thunderstorms in the area. I know there are, you know,
some threats of floods. So certainly everybody be safe if

(01:00):
you are out in that area, you know, make sure
you are okay wherever you're going to be. If you
can get to somewhere safer, absolutely try to do that
for anybody that that's possible for. Yeah, for Florio, godspeed, man.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
It just means that you have to do more indoor
things and.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Just eat more good food. That I mean, there's a
win there somewhere.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Plenty of indoor activities you can do in New Orleans
and have a good time. So hopefully he'll be back
with us next week, which, by the way, we are
scheduled to go out to training camps in the next
couple of weeks. We will be at Rams Camp, we
will be at Chargers Camp over the next few weeks,
so hopefully bringing you some good content from those places

(01:43):
while we are out there for sure, So looking forward
to that should be a really good time. Today, we're
gonna talk some training camp battles to watch since camps
open up, well they're opening up, it's kind of right
now right they're starting to Guys are starting to report,
guys are starting to show up. So we will dive
into some interesting training camp battles to pay attention to.

(02:04):
But first, there are some news headlines. The first one
which came down just about an hour ago or so,
Rashi Rice sentenced to jail for his role in a
multi car crash. Thirty days in jail plus a five
year probation sentence for him. I'll look on that is
just the punishment handed down from the court system. I

(02:28):
would imagine there's going to be a punishment handed down
from the NFL as well, some sort of suspension. We
don't know what that would be just yet, but I
would think if you are in the markets and draft
or she Rice, you need to sort of adjust your
expectations and adjust your your thinking at this point.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Absolutely, And I think some folks out there, like myself,
needs some mulligans on some best ball leagues because he
was going as they receiver twelve in a lot of
these leagues. And obviously with this news coming, like we're
probably expecting the six to eight get suspension this season,
which is like one of the things that you know,
he needs time to recover from this injury as well.

(03:06):
There's some pros in this, you know, if he does
miss time earlier in the season where we've seen the
talent he put on and displayed the first couple of
games of the season last year where he was looking
like the wide receiver one. But I think, you know,
this gives us some type of discount on him to
where I might be interested if he's outside the top
forty wide receivers, Like, if he's going in that Brandon

(03:27):
and I like area, I might go Rice there, you know,
like I might pivot to that area, just being that
he could end up being like a league winner over there.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You know, it's funny too that we get this news
today because on our show on Tuesday, we talked about
the idea of the Chiefs offense sort of rebounding back
to where it had been the past few years. Right xavier'
worthy saying that he was told by Andy Reid, get
your hamstrings ready, we're gonna open up this offense.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
We're going to try to be more vertical.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
You know, Rashi Rice was going to be a part
of that, and look, presumably he still will be. It's
just a matter of when he actually gets to get
back on the field at this point, but that's going
to be delayed. And so it just feels like the
Chiefs can't quite get right offensively. You know, last year
they had a lot of injuries. This year looks like

(04:16):
they're gonna be dealing with at least one suspension. You know,
we'll see, you know, hopefully everybody else stays healthy. So
right now, if you were banking on the big Chiefs
offensive revival.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
You know, it's not done, just maybe on Gloria Florida.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Got to adjust those Patrick Mahomes rankings. Man.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
You know, it's funny because I was looking at it
as if this offense really does become more explosive than
it has been the last couple of years. I was
looking at it. It's like Mahomes potentially could be undervalued.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Obviously losing Rice for if he loses him for a suspension,
is going to impact that a little bit. We'll see
what sort of development Xavier Worthy has under gone. We'll see, Yeah,
we'll see what Travis kelsey has left.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
I think if anything, I was just.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Saying, somebody asked me this night, is this are you
in or out on Travis kelce for this year?

Speaker 3 (05:13):
This is the Michael Jackson, this is it tour? This
is this is done? You know, like I don't know
if I'm in on that, you know, because again, Travis
Kelcey has not displayed you know, tight end one top
tier type of performances in the last three seasons. I mean,
what more red flags do we need? Like, you know,
I'm the guy that takes like real life interested like
this dude's trying to write off in the sunset with
all the shifties and stuff and trying to have like

(05:35):
this podcast girl with his brother and stuff. Like there's
a lot going on with Travis Kelcey in movies, TV
shows like this.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Dude is booked.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
He is booked and busy, like football is just on
like the mid tier of that list of being priority.
So not saying that he's going to be terrible, it's
just that for fantasy there's different tight end options you
can go to without having this type of headache.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I think he's still one of the top six or
seven tight ends, but he's more toward the bottom of
that group now than once upon a time when he
was you know, he was the guy, right, he was
the guy that we were right a couple of years ago,
we were like, we're taking Travis kelce in the first round.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I mean, that's where we were a couple of years ago.
I'm I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Although I think this is the last year that he's
fantasy viable. Who knows, maybe he retires after this year.
I have no idea what what his future plans are.
But even if he comes back for next year, I
think I'm absolutely out like this year, I'm I'm hesitant,
but you know, if he falls to me in the
right spot, I'll make the move. But I think this

(06:38):
is it for me when it comes to Travis Kelcey
as a as a real fantasy option Elsewhere in Detroit,
demer Gibbs says, I'm being split out wide, quote way
more than the past.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Two years this spot.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
This feels like super smoke screen right, like we're not
we're not actually buying this.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Sorry, no man, this just happens every year.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
And like I feel like, you know, running backs know
what they're doing saying this, Like they just want the
ball in their hands a lot more. They want a
forty yard handoff. That's all I guess.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I could see.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I could see Gibbs being explosive and being a guy
that could be a route runner out of the slide
and or out wide, But like, how often do we
honestly want to see that?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Like, no, I just so.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
He says he's being split out wide way more than
the past two seasons. Last year, he lined up out
wide on six percent of his snaps thirty nine total snaps.
Six percent of the snaps he played, he lined up
out wide so when he says like, way more, does
that mean he gets up to like I'm like to

(07:46):
like fifty snaps now.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Like, I mean, what are we what are the true statement?
What are we talking about? You know?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
And I I remember this years ago, right after the
big David Johnson breakout season.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
So was that like twenty feen something like that? Damn?

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah, I remember, because that's when you started hearing more
and more about wide receivers lining up is you know,
lining up in the slot, lining up out wide like whatever,
And like you know, we would always get hyped like
always gonna be a pass catcher, right, And then I
remember looking at it and seeing that like David Johnson's
percentage of like lining up as either in the slaughter
as a wide receiver was really small, and Christian McCaffrey's

(08:25):
was really small, right, And these were the two guys
we were sort of holding up as the.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Gold standard of that.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, And I'm just like, well, if it's really small
for these guys, like, how excited can we be for
everybody else?

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I'm curious if we could look back for Matt Forte,
because he was another guy that I think there was
like some type of inklings of like he lining out
why and stuff like that, but I'm pretty sure it
was very little that that happened.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Yeah, I mean so I think I just when whenever
we hear that. I think at this point we've all
learned enough that we're like, all right, man, like, bro,
all right, you just talking, just chatting thing. It doesn't
diminish jimior Gibbs, right. I mean, he's still coming off
the board really really early. I don't know that this
news is going to bump him up much, you know,
but I think us not believing it doesn't hurt him.

(09:10):
I mean, I think everything kind of stays the same,
but it's just like, yeah, we're not cool, cool story bro,
exactly exactly exactly. Colston Lovelin says his shoulder injury is progressing,
but he won't really know until training camp. I don't
think I know your feelings on Colston Lovelin. I know,
like I'm in on him. I know Florio's in on him.

(09:30):
I'm not sure I know where you stand on Colston Lovelin.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I wasn't like crazy high on him like all the
other draft analysts and stuff like that. Like it's a
tight end at the end of the day and there's
a lot of mouse to feed in this Bearss offense.
But this does worry me though in some of the
leagues that you know in Bestball that I've waited for
him to take him as a tight end one where
I think now we have to start really looking at
Cole Kmet because like this shoulder injury is going to
be like a headline and storyline in August going into

(09:55):
the season. Cole Comet could be installed in this offense
because again, he the guy that we've kind of seen
last year show some flashes like he can route run
with the best of them out there, the Mark Andrews
and the George Kittle's, Like there just hasn't been a
time where he's been utilized like properly, like the play
calling or the quarterback was never on timing or sink
with him. Now with Kayler Williams and Ben Johnson on

(10:16):
the sticks, it's like, Okay, maybe cole Comet could be
looked at now as in the step in as the
tight end one. If Colston Lovelmin is gonna be dealing
with the shoulder injury or at any time at any
point of the season, Colston Loveman goes down with the injury,
shoulder injury.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, I mean, I, like I said, I was in
on Colston Lovelin, I'm you know, sort of hesitant.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Now.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
I would imagine if this news really picks up some steam,
we're gonna see him fall around or two in terms
of ADP.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
So you know, we'll see how I go with cole Comet.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I'm so frustrated because I remember, way back in twenty twenty,
like I was on the cole Comet train because so
many of the metrics right, like you know, route percentage,
you know, targets per out run, like all these things
were really great. And I kept telling people, go pick
up cole Comet. Right, he's on waivers, he's available, go
get him. All the metrics were great. Everything worked out

(11:10):
except Jimmy Graham kept scoring touchdowns. That was right and.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
So away, right, I mean that was the thing.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Like every week I was on the podcast, I was
on Fantasy Live, I'm like, go get cole Comet, and
then Jimmy Grahama was scoring another touchdown and then I'm
just like sitting here just like I don't have to
say man, Like everything everything looked good except that last
part So that's my frustration with cole Comet. I know
that I know it happened in twenty twenty shouldn't impact

(11:37):
the way I think in twenty twenty five, But.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
You know it does it happened, does man? It happens.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Last bit of news here. We'll get some of your questions.
We see a lot of questions in the chat. Feel
free to like throw some in there. We will get
to a mini of it as we can. Najee Harris
is going to the non football injury list, according to
our own ian rapaport. Don't expect it to be a
lengthy st This is obviously connected to the fireworks incident
that happened on the fourth of July where he suffered

(12:06):
what is being called a superficial eye injury. So you
know this is going to be kind of I guess
this is just precautionary look on and yeah, I you
thought he's going to be back pretty soon.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Yeah, he should be back really soon. I think this
is kind of like a snip snap situation, like he'll
be on it and then off, you know. And I'm
not going to take this as a huge concern for him.
And I think you know, right now we're already dealing
with Amarin Hampton's ADP reaching dangerous heights, like he's currently
the RB fourteen right now. I can only see this

(12:38):
going up to RB ten, like I can easily see
him getting pushed. The closer we get to camp, the
closer we get to preseason, the closer we get to
week one, where I think he's going to dangerous heights
and you're going to forget that Naji is in house.
He's constantly going to be there as the nuisance.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah, speaking of in house, the Jim Harbaugh saying that
Naj has reported to the try facility.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Quote, he's in meetings. Just great to have.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Him a lot of gratitude that he's here. So even
if he's not necessarily gonna get on.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
The field right away, he is there. He's with the team.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
I think that in short order he's going to be,
you know, backup in pads and out on the field
for sure. A few of the questions in the chat,
we'll get to those, and then we'll talk about some
of our training camp battles.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
To watch this one from DG.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
How do you feel about the QB wide receiver stack
concept and other than Borough Chase which stacks do you
think will be the most successful this year?

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Your thoughts on stacking stacking.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
I like the Roman Dunsay and Caleb Williams stack because
you could wait on both those, and I think, honestly,
we're gonna be able to talk about Roman Donza in
the same breath that we talk about DeVante Smith, Jordan Addison,
these strong two's, like even the T. Higgins maybe. So
I like the Caleb and No Doonsay stack because I'm
really in on the Bears offense this year.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, I'm definitely in on them.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And I think you're right the price is really good
because the Burrow Chase is gonna be costly.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Oh yeah, because.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Really, if you're not in the first you know, two
or three picks of your draft, you're you're not gonna
get Jamar Chase.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Maybe a T.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Higgins, Uh, Joe Burrow stack is a little more price effective, cost.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Effective Higgins Chase Brown Joe Burrow stack isn't terrible like
like that.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, if you're gonna like, you know, double stack or
triple stack how we're calling that, I think that's that's
kind of an interesting way to go.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
H I do like your your.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Williams o'doon say, I'm trying to think of what else, Like,
I guess Jayden and Daniels Terry McLaurin stacks kind of
pricey as well.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
That's pricey. Yeah, you know, look Lamb and Dak. That's
a perfect stack right there.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Lamb and Dack's a really good stack.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Twelve right now.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I think Lamb Lamb is the pricier part of that
of that stack.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
What what would you think about? This?

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Is this is maybe a kind of a Hail Mary,
but a a Trevor Lawrence Travis Hunter stack.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Oh my god, Trevor mid Lawrence making the show again,
Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
I just want to talk about Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
How much of a headache is this gonna be though?
With Trevor Travis Hunter? Like how much is he gonna
play defense and offense? We still don't have the instone
thing about that. And I even thought about yesterday. I
was like, what if there's like a game where he
doesn't play offense at all and they need to help
this week on defense because they have so many injuries.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Like this could happen.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Like That's why I'm like, I'm totally off the Travis
Hunter like a project experience. I want to see how
it plays out in year one before I start investing
in drafting and putting on teams and matching him with
Trevor mid Lawrence.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Yeah, Clem cass had one that actually had in my
head too, not Stafford and DeVante Adams.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Oh, I love that one.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
You can get that one for a pretty good draft price.
You don't because you know Stafford you can get really
late even Adams.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
You're not having to pay a high draft prize for that.
Is that is a pretty good one.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Ye Staffer's QB twenty four right now that that's a
huge discount.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
That feels wrong, that's borderline disrespectful.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Christian wants to know. Are we out on Judkins after
that report?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Uh so I mentioned this, uh well to you guys privately,
like I have been hesitant to sort of get in
on this story just because you know, when it comes
to things like your domestic violence and assault and those
sorts of things, it's always sort of unsavory to tie
them into fantasy. I think right now I was saying this.

(16:41):
I was never big on the Browns offense to start with.
I would very much wait to see what the Browns
are going to do, what the league may do, you know.
So I guess that's sort of my my my feeling
on it. Obviously, whatever's happening, I think he needs to

(17:01):
take care of away from the team before he worries
about football. But I would, you know, I would sort
of make my decision based on what it is.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
He's not even signed, So there's a lot of variables
in this too, Like the Browns can be like, all right,
see you, and then it could just be that and
nobody picks him up. So if your draft ain't this
week and then you have nothing to really worry about,
just wait and see until this plays out in the
end of August.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, that's the other part too, Like if you're not
drafting right away, I mean, I know people are still
doing best Ball drafts and you're in slow drafts and
that sort of thing.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
I mean, then you maybe have to think about it.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
But for you know, if you're just in a home
league that doesn't draft for a few more weeks, you
kind of have.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Some time to kind of think about that a little bit. Uh.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Brett wants to know if you have the number three
pick in half PPR, Redraft, Chase and Bijon are taken.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Who is the pick? All right? So no Jamar Chase,
no Jhon Robinson. Who do you take at number three?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Justin Jefferson. I mean that's a no brainer, right, I.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Mean, we're still gonna do the discount on Justin Jefferson
because we got burned last year on that. Well, yes,
that's the thing.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
There's no discount because of what happened last year. There
is no discount on Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
He fell last year to like one oh seven to
one oh eight last year, which is insane.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Which is sort of wild. I mean, I get why
it happened.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
We were all looking at Sam Donald and being like,
I don't really want any part of that, and then
Donald goes out and has a career year.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
But at least with.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Donald we had an inkling of what he could be
in the NFL. Yeah, we don't know any of that. Like,
we're back here on Justin Jefferson. We're like, yep, he
can do it again. We have no idea what JJ
McCarthy's gonna be, none whatsoever. Because McCarthy, like obviously had
success in college, won a national championship in Michigan, but

(18:41):
also wasn't really asked to necessarily be the engine that
made the offense go. He made plays when they needed
him to, Like I'm not trying to take that away
from him, but it wasn't like you looked at him
and you're like, yeah, man, like they're gonna rise and
fall strictly on what happens with JJ McCarthy.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
They had so many other pieces around him.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
I feel like he has a rock pretty season. And
I say that only just based on what the Vikings
have shown us. Like even with that Aaron Rodgers rumors
and stuff like, like the social team were still posting
like all of JJ doing like workouts and all these
slow motion videos and like they had like a villain
Arc trailer that he some weird trailer that they put
out of him. I don't I don't even know what

(19:20):
the purpose was, but it was just basically in flex
and like, JJ is our guy, so like I think
there's some type of confidence in JJ.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
That was a yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Like I think the great thing about Kevin O'Connell he
has a way of like presenting the game to the quarterbacks.
So if we've seen him be the QB whisperer now
to where like you revive Sam Darnold from the grave.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
My point like that that.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Is a huge achievement because he was seeing ghosts and
now he is the demon out there playing for you.
But I feel like, you know, at least with JJ,
I do feel like the understandment is that target share
is king, you know what I mean? Like jj J
A Jets is still going to be out there, you know,
getting the volume and getting the opportunities to be himself.

(20:05):
So at three, I think it's still a no brainer.
I'm not taking Barkley at three.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
You're not taking Barklay at three, You're bugging So yeah, Clincast,
I don't know if you've caught some of our previous shows,
whether the live streams of the podcast, we are generally
out on Barkley. Certainly at three, I'm out on Barkley
in the first round. Reason being the track record of
guys who have run for two thousand yards in a season,

(20:30):
the follow up has not been nearly as great. On average,
look at the eight guys who've run for two thousand
yards the following year. On average, they have run for
about nine hundred and forty fewer yards.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Yeah, Barry Sanderson only no, only god Teer. And I
don't know if Saquon got that in him.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Williams Right, everybody's like, well, you know, everybody's like, well,
Sakwan's built different. And I'm like Adrian Peterson was built different,
Dereck Henry was built Differentry Sanders built you know back
in the day.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
Uh O. J. Simpson was built different.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
You know season right, all these guys, Eric Dickerson, like,
all these guys were you know, quote unquote built different,
but they all followed up with seasons that were you know,
they were built different and then felt different the next year.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
And so I just just with that track record under
our belt, I am staying away from Saquon.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
At the price that he's going because I just I don't.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Know, history has shown that that the returns are just
not going to be good.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
You know, I could be wrong, but yo, that that's
what it is.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
By the way, by the way, you were talking about
justin Jefferson. News recently just came down on Jordan Addison.
Uh This from Tom Pellasaro. Jordan Addison's case has also
concluded a fine and a probation. This was after his

(21:59):
his was driving charge from earlier in the year last year,
I guess it was so yeah, a fine and probation
for Jordan Addison. We will see if the League hands
down any other discipline beyond that.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
But that's in the same courtroom or something.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
It's just you know, NFL day in the courtroom, I
guess for driving driving traffic court, NFL traffic court.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Yeah, who's who's giving these guys license? I mean, geez,
they need to be held accountable to how do he
pass his tests? Uh?

Speaker 2 (22:32):
One more than we'll get to some training camp battles.
We'll get back to some questions too a little bit later.
So if you got some, feel free to throw them
in the chat. Maggie asking, are you concerned about Crafts
targets being reduced because the Packers took a wide receiver
in the first round of the draft the first time
in forever?

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (22:48):
I mean, I don't know that I feel any differently
about Tucker Craft's targets now than I did before the draft.
I think we scored of just washed our hands in
the pack like I don't. Yeah, there's just too many
guys there.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
That's the problem. They got a new shiny toy like
I can. Yeah, it could be Golden and Reid as
the top two target shares, you know what I mean,
And then you have to try to fit in Tucker
Craft somewhere in that third to fourth spot where Romeo
Dobbs is still out there. Luke Musgrave is being forgotten
like he's an athletic fast, you know, tight end as well,

(23:25):
so he just was banged up and injured last year.
So I think Tucker Craft maybe getting pushed up, like
he was cool to talk about as a late round
tight end that you can go and pivot from, Like
if you weren't in on John new, if you weren't
been buying the David and djok who you can feel
safe with a Tucker Craft, But now his price is
starting to raise up. Closer we get the week one,
and I don't think folks are being aware of, like

(23:48):
how messed up this target share is going to be
for the packers.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah, it's just you know, there's just so many guys
spread around.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
I mean, Jaden Reid was the leader with seventy five targets,
Craft right behind him, real nasty work. I mean, yeah,
it's just it's hard to expect big time production when
you're only getting seven or five targets over the course
of the season.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
But even look at that, like Tucker Kraft became the
second target because Deontavian Wicks couldn't come along or catch
the ball. Watson got her Dobbs hackncussion issues back in
the season. He had an identity issue as well early
in the season where he's just randomly suspended because he
was the one screaming he's the wide receiver one.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Apparently you're not apparently or not.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
So now that you put it like that, maybe we
should be worried that Craft's targets are going to go
down if like all the other guys are healthy and productive,
and Matthew Golden is in the mix, so maybe it is.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I just I don't know. I just don't want. I
don't want to deal with the Packer offense outside of
Josh Jacobs. I just don't. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Oh yeah, and that's another target share guy you gotta
worry about.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
He's getting fed too, Jim Pepper. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
I'm just obviously for real football, it makes them tough
to the finn because you have no idea where the
football is going for our purposes. It makes them tough
to because you don't know where the ball is going
so exactly. You know, look a training camp battles to watch.
I put that a few here on this list we
can dive into. We're not dig into them super deep.

(25:12):
But uh, maybe the one that's that jumps out top
of mind to me is the Colts quarterback situation where
you got Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones. They're both sort
of going back to back in you know, ADP, neither
one being considered more than what low end QB two
I know.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
I mean, yeah, but you know how I feel about
Daan Jones, not because we share the same last name.
It's just that I think there's upside here that we're
not really looking at.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Like if Danny Dime come in as week one as
a starter, which I think you will by the way,
me too.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
I think this is beneficial to the wide receivers, beneficial
to Jonathan Taylor, and then Daniel Jones himself going as
the QB twenty nine, like you're not taking much risk
like Dann He put up seven hundred yards in twenty
twenty two, which was his last inkling of any type
of talent in his DNA, but I think the rushing
upside is there for him, like the same rushing upside

(26:11):
that we're hoping and wishing for Anthony Richardson. It's already
there improving with Daniel Jones, and he doesn't have a
season under sixty percent completion rate. So I'm just saying, yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Mean, I think.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I think I'm starting to believe that that one season
at twenty twenty two season maybe a little bit of
an outlier. No, granted, like he didn't really stay healthy,
he got hurt in twenty twenty three, twenty.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Twenty took away on Barkley the whole named in the
last two seasons.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
So I mean, cause I was thinking about this yesterday.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Like with Richardson, the value of Anthony Richardson is pretty
much isolated just to Anthony Richardson. Yeah, he's going to
run the football when he's healthy, hopefully get those goal
line opportunities, but he's not going to give you much
as a passer, and he's not going to elevate the
guys around him, right Like, if you have if you
have Michael Pittman and Anthony Richardson ends up being the quarterback.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Sorry, about your luck because you know, like it's just
not gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
With Daniel Jones, you can feel better about the past
catchers in Indianapolis. You can be okay with with Pittman,
you can be okay with Josh Downs. You can be
okay with Alec Pierce because he can at least get
the ball to them. That's not you know, I don't
know that the ceilings are super high, but there's definitely
more of a ceiling there than with Anthony Richardson.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
And while Jones I don't think.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Is the runner that Richardson is, he can give you
enough with his legs that there is some value there.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
But again, I'm not drafting as more than my QB too.
No facts.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Yeah, I ain't telling people to wait until your last
picking the draft for your QB wanting to be Daniel
Jones actually.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Right, because even I mean, even with that great season
he had in twenty twenty two, like he was the QB.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Nine that year, that felt like his apps ceiling.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
I do recommend though, if you're going chasing Baker Mayfield
at QB seven, you better be double tap in that
quarterback position. So I think Danan Jones fits the Bill
to kind of help that cushion of like insurance, you know, for.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Sure, for sure, next one up the Jaguars running backs.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
You got Travis Etn, you got base Shall, and you've
got Tank Bigsby.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Rich would you prefer?

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Like I'm trying to, like, I try to come up
with a clever question, and I'm like, it's just I
don't know which one do you like out of that?

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Yeah, that's what it comes down to.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
I mean, the odd man out feels like it's Tank,
right because Travis Etn he is looked at as the
RB one of this backfield, but it's like Tooting, the
fresh new toy, the speaks there who actually fits Liam
Cohen's like offensive scheme of like this outside zone scheme
where Tutin thrived in that in college. But you look

(28:52):
at where Tank it's like he has fumbling issues. He
couldn't take the job away from a declining, banged up,
injured Etn. And he's not great on outside zone either,
Like it's not it's not looking like you know, Tank
is going to be the worth taking a shot on.
But I would take Tuton at RB forty two, I guess, yeah,
I mean suiting the costs, I think I like the most.
Although you talk about Bixby having fumble problems, that was

(29:15):
the knock on Tuton coming out of college. In fact,
I think his.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Very first touch in OTA's he fumbled the ball. Now
look Liam Cohen shook it off, and it's like, hey, look,
you know, first first touch in the NFL, you know whatever.
They weren't making a big deal out of it at
the time, but for everybody who sort of had that
as a concern, like it was out there on Front
Street like right away. So I like to at costs,

(29:44):
but also understand that if you're drafting him, you're gonna
have to wait on him.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Yeah, you're definitely not the wait. You have to wait
at least six to eight games. I think that that
would be like the window of like where you start
seeing him. But or he could come out of the
gate like how Bucky Irvin did and very early in
the season. Like these are things that could be you know,
on the table for him. And again I like where
he's at cass. I don't have to pay up to

(30:10):
make him my RB two or RB three like that,
Like it all depends on roster building and how you
want to go to go about it.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeah, For the record, the Jaguars have their buy in
Week eight, so if you are a proponent of the
post buy rookie bump, that could be where base shall too.
They're on a bye week eight. Week nine, they're in
Las Vegas against the Raiders, so who knows. May just

(30:36):
want to keep an eye on. Speaking of running backs,
the Dallas Cowboys, Davonte Williams, jade On Blue, Miles Sanders,
I've been heavy jade On Blue in Best Ball drafts.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Really, wow, that is new for you. Come on, because, like,
here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
I just I've had to you know, I've had to
sort of just say it's over with Javonte, right, like,
hey man, like we had a good run.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I really believe and I wish you the best. I
just I can't do this anymore.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
He's in the best shape of his life right now, though,
come on, this ain't the time to give up.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Yeah. I think it is. I think it is. I mean,
I think you will be your lead running back.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yeah, again it's I think it's something similar to Jacksonville,
right where Javonte will be the lead back. But I
think they're gonna give Jayden Blue a lot of opportunities.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
And again the thing we're at cost.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
If I have the roster space, if I have the
bench space, that I can wait on him for a
few weeks, I think I would rather do that. I mean,
I think in best ball there's certainly a lot less risk,
and that's kind of where I've been been taking him.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
A whole lot. Miles Sanders, I can't. It's that's a
wrap for me. Yeah, he's cooked.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
He's cooked.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
You know that one, that one sadly is done. I
think once he got sort of stiff armed by Chuba Hubbard,
we were all kind of like, yeah, that's that's.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Probably a wrap. Yeah, it's over. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Patriots wide receivers got Stefan Diggs, uh, the Mario Douglas
and Kyle Williams.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
I know that we we we've talked about Kyle Williams.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
You know, I said I I've been drafting him the
best ball and stacking him with Drake may You know,
I think the Mario Douglas kind of is what he's
a good player, but also I think you know.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
He's like like he's a safe dump ball slot wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Yeah, I mean that's the thing, like the floor I'm
think there's a big gap between the floor and the ceiling,
which is kind of frustrating, Like the floor is not
super low, but the ceiling is also not super high.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Yeah, I mean he.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Was. He was like in a like a crawl space.
Like that's kind of what it is. But what are
we thinking about Stefan Diggs. He's sort of the I
think he's kind of the wild card in this whole thing,
because you know, if he's out on his Stefan Diggs
revenge tour, knowing he gets to play the Bills twice
a year, Like, do we get these Stefan Diggs that's

(33:12):
eleven twelve hundred yards or are those days over now
that you know he's thirty one soon to be thirty
two years old.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
I think he'd take the shot in drafts, but it
has to be later and because like even if he's
off to a slow start, but he is still the
wide receiver one of that team, Like I would rather
him over Kyle Williams or Doug Douglas. And like I
feel like where he's going in drafts, Like you're gonna
be making that decision. Do I go with Packers' wide receivers?
Do I go with Kloe Shakier where we talked about

(33:44):
that ceiling is just very close to his floor, Like
you're gonna have to start making decisions there if you're
looking for like a wide receiver four or flex there
that could become a weekly starter for you. And I
think Diggs can be that. You know, we saw him
the last time, you know, last season with the Texans
where he was damn there a top ten wide receiver
on the points per game basis, So he could still

(34:04):
go out there and make the plays. It's just a
matter of now he's coming back from an injury and
the whole CARDI b on a boat and all the
other party and stuff. This is a lot, but this
is the most I've seen Stefan Diggs outside. So it's like,
what are you doing in Jersey on a random Tuesday night?
By the way, But I digress. It's just a lot
going on with Stephan Diggs. I understand the fears of it,

(34:25):
but I'm willing to take a shot on he's going
outside the top forty wide receivers right now.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
What would you do in Jersey on a random Tuesday
night like in July.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I'm sure, I'm sure you had shenanigans occasionally on a Tuesday,
we were.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Definitely at the diner.

Speaker 3 (34:39):
Man. Like, if we're just like I'm taking back in
my days where I was just hanging out with my homies.
We're just outside, we'll probably end up at a diner
and just you know, chilling for.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Marriage and fatherhood. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
Absolutely, Yeah, this is like a ten three at night
on a Tuesday at a diner, man, just chilling, kicking
it with the boys. But that's that's way before where
I'm at.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
Now, way before wives and kids for sure. Other training
camp battles and pay attention to the Rams backfield. I
assume when you say the Rams backfield you're talking about
the guys behind Kyen.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Is No, I mean, like I'm not.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Being a smart as like I mean seriously, like you're
talking about like behind because Kyron, whether regardless of how
you feel about him and how he frustrates you, he
is the RB one, Like I don't miss there's a
real challenge. So we're talking about like the guys. It's like,
you know, the guys behind him, right.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
Yeah, exactly, because I think it's smart to grab a
handcuff and I think you know, when we're talking about
drafting a handcuff out of the Rams backfield. This is
what the notion of, Like you drafted Kiraun Williams. You're
worried about his touchdown regression and stuff like that. It's
a matter of which one. So like now there's actually,
you know, some buzz in the fancy streets. Some folks

(35:50):
are actually preferring Blake Quorum and I'm like, he's the
same athletic profile prototype of Kyen. I think he's the
plug and play of Kyron goes down. But I think
our quiz hunter is the exotic animal out of this jungle.
Like he's the one that possesses a little bit more
explosiveness than Korn and obviously the ball security I'm going
to bring up with Kyroen. But I definitely think with

(36:12):
McVeigh going into this offseating warning versatility, he wants to
change it up. It's like there has to be a
one to two punch system here. There has to be
some plan for these running backs that we have been
drafting every single year since he's entered the building. Like,
there is so much talent in his backfield that it's
hard to believe that these two guys Blake Korn or
jar Quiz Hunter are sitting on the sideline the entire season.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
I mean, you would think that, but that's kind of
what happened last year. And I last year I was
I was thinking Blake Korn was gonna cut into that workload,
all right, And I'm gonna say it had nothing to
do with the whole like Tyron Williams returning punts like,
it had nothing to do with that. For me, it
was they actually spent more draft capital on Korlan than

(36:55):
they did on Kyron, and so I thought for that reason,
you'd see you can get more opportunities. He had fifty
eight carries compared to three to sixteen for Kyen Williams.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
So I mean maybe.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Hunter is, yeah, maybe he's the chosen one who sort
of works into that. I just I don't know if
I see it. I think I think it's the Kyrien
Williams show until you know he either gets hurt. You
hope he does it, but unless he gets hurt or
somehow the fumbles become so bad that that they have
to move him, and I just I don't know if that.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Let's avoid getting to that point. Is my point, is
that just implement a one to two punch. The less
time he has the ball in his hands, the less
chances he drops the ball.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
So I'm more saying, the more times he has the
ball in his hands, the more chances he has to
break a big one and be the big play.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Guy, a big one for a couple of yards and
get unhitched the trailer. We got Jarcois Hunter a home
run hitter. This guy can take it from forty to
sixty to the end zone. Like I'm just saying, we
have talent, just freaking use it. That's just my frustration.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Man, oh man, you gotta tech. We gotta text from Florio.
Uh it says early season Marquise Brown. Baby, I'm assuming this.
I'm assuming this has to do with the rashi rice.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Uh shout Florida.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
You should just think back, Hey man, did you did
you bring your umbrella? I'm gonna hit him back. Uh
did you pack an umbrella?

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Other other couple other ones? You got the Bill's wide
receiver two. Whether it is gonna be key on Coleman
or Josh Palmer, I know you sort of dumped on
both of those guys on Twitter recently with the dueling
swinging toilets in the Giants running backs. Uh, I think
this stays a one two punch with Tracy and Scataboo

(38:47):
all year.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
You know, I don't know. I think Devin Singletary is
kind of the odd man out in that group.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Yeah, most definitely, because like I didn't even I didn't
even really consider him when you're came about this one
two punch because I'm like, wait, Singletary's still there.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
He's still there. Yeah, he's still there.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
He could he could do some things, but it's like
Tyrone Tracy to me doesn't feel like he has the
full rains of this backfield as they are be won,
Like it may be just a one two punch system.
Like he could do everything under the sun that Skataboo
and that Singletary can do. They can catch, he could block,
he could run, et cetera, et cetera. It's just a
headache if you want to invest in this backfield, you know.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah, I mean I it's funny because I keep trying
to get Skataboo and people keep taking him like a
two a pick or two before me. Like I can't
ever quite get Scataboo on my roster because people always
seem to like him at the same spot that I do,
and I haven't been able to grab him. But I
think Tracy holds on to the starting job pretty much

(39:48):
all year. But I think for me, the question is
what is the split gonna be between him and Scataboo
by the end of the year, you know, And if
it's like a sixty five thirty five, sixty four, I
don't know that I'd be super surprised.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Yeah, maybe I would be. Maybe I would be. But
the problem let me think.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
That, Well, fantasy managers, then that's like you got a
player you're constantly gonna have to worry about in your
starting lineups. Like I try to avoid those situations.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
A couple of more questions.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
You can get back to some questions because a lot
of folks in the chat Brett uh Brett Mahan wants
to know. Is a thousand yards and six to eight
touchdowns a realistic expectation for Calvin Ridley this season?

Speaker 1 (40:35):
I think it is. Yeah. I mean.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Yeah, you know, I feel like we are. I don't
say down on Calvin Ridley, but you know, it just
has never quite popped the way we hoped it would have.
You know, you have the one big year a huge
year in Atlanta in twenty twenty. It looked like he
was really ready to take off, then gets hurt the
following year suspended. The year after that, you know, one

(41:04):
year in Jacksonville that was kind of math. Last year
in Tennessee was mah quarterback. Yeah, so now, I mean,
you know, he's got cam Ward. We'll see what that
that amounts to. But even last year being sort of
meh with you know, spotty quarterback play, he got you
a thousand yards and four touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
So I don't know why one thousand and six to eight.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Yeah, like he did that with Trevor mid Lauren. So
I'm pretty sure we can look at cam Ward as
at least an upside over Mid, you know, or tml
t Men.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
So yeah, no, I think I think I think those
are realistic expectations for Calviny, like Ridley, Yeah, for sure.
Try to see there any other interesting questions in bit chat.
I think that's that's most of them. But I appreciate
you guys jumping in with questions. Oh here we go.
Thoughts on the Cowboys backfield. Yeah, I mean, look, I'm

(41:59):
a jayda On Blue guy. I've I think I've hung
up my my Javonte Williams Cape.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
You know, I think we're just we're putting it, We're
putting nicely on the hangar, put them in the closet.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
And then suddenly the closet.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
I mean, look, here's like if you off right, like
if if we get to like week four and suddenly,
like you know, for whatever reason, Javonte Williams is like
the RB eight like, yeah, man, we're gonna take the
Cape back out of the closet, Like we're gonna do this.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
It's gonna happen. So back, We're so back we never left.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
But no, I mean, realistically, I think I think Javonte,
we we've sort of seen where the ceiling is. And
I do expect that the Cowboys are gonna work in
other guys are gonna work in Blue. They may try
to work in Miles Sanders. I don't know, but I
just you know, at this point, I think I think
Javonte sadly is what he is. I loved them coming
out out of Carolina. It just ye, it just hasn't

(42:51):
really happened for him.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
There is a pretty picture that you can paint though
of like the Cowboys are a tie five offense in scoring,
and drive to the red zone to where all we
need is Javonte to just fall in a couple of times,
get peppered with some targets, because that's what we saw
last season. So it's like, maybe there's a future, Maybe
he's worth a shot. I'm just trying to get you

(43:15):
back on and.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
I know you are.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
I know you are trying to I'm just you know,
I'm I'm cool sitting on the sideline for now.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
For sure.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Brain Burst wants to know if we can get an
SFB fifteen update.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
On my team's word.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
Well, I am on the clock next waiting on the
person in front of me who has like six and
a half hours left to.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Make his pick.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
And so I'm about to make my eleventh round pick.
I have not taken a running back. Wow, I am
not taking on an all wide receiver tight end HU
quarterback wide receiver tight end. So my two quarterbacks are
Lamar Jackson and Jay herbo which who I stacked Herbert with?

(44:01):
Lad mcconkee, you're talking about stacks. A Herbert McConkie stack.
Not the worst in the world, feels good, I bet
not the worst thing in the world. But I have
Lamar Jackson. My receivers are Drake London, Lad McConkie, Terry McLaurin,
who I drafted before.

Speaker 1 (44:17):
This whole, like I might hold out thing uh started happening,
Romo Dunza, Jamison Williams.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
I got Brandon Ayuk in the tenth and then I
have Sam.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
Laporta and Tyler Warren as my tight ends.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
So tight ends right there.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah, And so I mean for for anybody who's like
looking at me sideways, which I wouldn't blame you, the
reason thing is because the scott Fish Bowl basically you
just it's a super flex league with all flex positions.
You don't have to play a running back, and playing
on the sleeper format you get two and a half
points per reception.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
Three so end three and a half a tight ends.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
So I just decided I'm gonna load up on pass
catchers this year, guys who are high target guys potentially
who can be big playmakers. And that's kind of the
way I go, Like, and I'm not opposed to taking
a running back if I see one, you know that
comes to me that I think is worthwhile. But so far,
I just you know, when I've been on the clock,

(45:15):
there haven't been any running backs there that I felt
comfortable with taking, so.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
I waited on.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Like my one and two is R. J. Harvey and Deandres.
So cool with that.

Speaker 2 (45:27):
And I'm looking at some of the other teams in
in my division. There are there are three other teams
that only have one running back, like I don't have any.
There are three teams that have just one. So you know,
I am not alone, at least in my my strategy.
There's crazier teams out there, yeah, for sure. And I'm

(45:49):
looking there are let's see one, two, three, four teams
that have three quarterbacks. I have to decide whether or
not I want to take a third quarterback. Yeah, yeah,
I gotta figure out I want to take a third
quarterback for sure. It is super flex, you know, and

(46:09):
so that way you can.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Just take ticket.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
I'm not taking Kiddie Pickett actually. So I'm on the
clock next and the quarterbacks that are left.

Speaker 1 (46:19):
There's some good quarterbacks left. Two is two was still
out there.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
I don't know how I feel about two, unnecessarily, but uh,
Stafford's there, you know, Smith's there, Sam Darnold is there. Uh,
Anthony Richardson is there? Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
Holy crap, Mike Williams just retired.

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Wait what yo?

Speaker 3 (46:38):
What is happening? Just retired from the rap sheet?

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Is this? This is this actually rap sheet breaking news? Yes?
Hold on wow, I'm I hang on yeah, I wow. Uh.
The lad McConkie era is just getting stronger.

Speaker 3 (47:01):
That that disgusting.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
And this is this is what my case was before.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
Where he was going in ADP like he was going
like literally mid to back into the second round. I
can honestly see him going off in the turn.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Now, yeah, there it is there. It is from Ian Rappaport.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Veteran wide receiver Mike Williams has informed the Chargers that
he plans to retire Walking Away after eight seasons with
two eclipsing one thousand yards. He was placed on the
pup list just a couple of days ago, and so
apparently you decided that that is it, uh for for
Mike Williams. So, uh, congratulations on your career, Mike Williams.

(47:39):
But definitely a surprise, did not Harris? Trey Harris new Yeah,
I mean look, Trey Harris got a little bit of
leverage brouh uh. You know, if you're trying to still
hold out and get some more uh, get some more
benefits there. So all right, I feel a lot. I

(48:01):
mean I felt okay with my by Laddin McConkie justin
Herbert snack. I feel even better with my Laden McConkie
justin Herbert stack after this. Wow, all right, some news
breaking right here on the fantasy cheat sheet that insane.
That is absolutely crazy for sure. See trying to think

(48:23):
anything else, clok class won't know. How much do you
elevate a stack in best ball versus redraft? I think
I'm much rather stack in best ball, and I'm not
against it in redraft leagues, But in redraft I tend
to want to kind of diversify my roster and try

(48:44):
to get as many offenses involved as possible. Best ball,
I will stack, especially because depending on the format and
the platform, you have those late season games where you
know you want to try to have a team stack
or a game stack to try and help either get

(49:04):
you in the playoffs or get you through the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
So much more about it on the best ball side.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
Than the redraft side, I agree, big facts.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Last thing before we.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
Get out of here, always love you guys, hanging out
with us. Did you see Jimmy Graham has set a
rowing record?

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (49:24):
Like this was one of those like literally how you
wrote it in the rundown? What?

Speaker 1 (49:28):
Like? What? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (49:32):
Jimmy Graham was part of a team that completed the
Arctic Challenge, where they rode roughly five hundred and eighty
four nautical miles across the Arctic Ocean in a little
over ten days. Ice broke the previous record for a
team of four. Which wow, so they kind of smashed
the record. The previous record was fifteen days, five hours,

(49:52):
and thirty two minutes, so they beat the record by
like five days.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
Again, why what made you go interest yourself into this
type of activity? Like I know Old?

Speaker 1 (50:07):
I mean there's that part old. Uh. So he's part
of a four man crew.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
They started on July fourth in Norway and they arrived
in Svalbard, which I will admit I'm terrible at geography.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
I can't tell you exactly where that is.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Uh, but they got there on July fourteenth. Yourething like
I guess when you are a retired athlete, you know
you still have the desire to compete, You still are
in decent shape. Most you know, most of these guys
are still in decent shape, right, I mean, if you're

(50:41):
if you're Jimmy Graham, hold on you what you're thirty eight?
You know, like which is like old? There is there's
the photo of him and his team. Yeah, thirty eight
is old in like football years, but like you know,
it's not too old like for the earth, you know,
so you.

Speaker 3 (51:00):
Know, just beat your time from the couch to the fridge,
I mean going to the antarctica, Like what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (51:08):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (51:09):
I kind of I respect it, you know, like it
couldn't be me, but I respect it.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
Like it's only like like one percent of people could
say he like did what he did?

Speaker 1 (51:17):
So absolutely absolutely so yeah he is.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
Uh he is in the record book for uh the
fastest Ford four man team rowing teams in the Arctic Challenge.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
That's the other part.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
There was ten days, so I would assume did they
they had to stop at night?

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Right, stopping day one? The first ten hours?

Speaker 2 (51:38):
We stop him, bro right, I mean like you gotta
stop and like like where where do you use the bathroom?

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Like do you stand up and just.

Speaker 3 (51:45):
You know, let it lie on your leg right in
the canoe?

Speaker 1 (51:48):
Let it fly?

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Off the boat, like, like, what how does it? How
does that happen? I have questions, like I don't know
if if you know, we'll ever get a chance to
talk to Jimmy.

Speaker 1 (51:57):
Grant, but I record I have question Jimmy, I have questions.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
That's all. I respect the hustle, I respect the accomplishment.
I just want to talk. I just want to talk. Wow,
that's congrats. Congrats though, congrats to Jimmy Graham for sure.
All Right, that feels like a good place for us
to take a pause for this week.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
That's enough for.

Speaker 2 (52:17):

of a selfish note here. You can check me out

Speaker 1 (52:52):
He didn't respond to my umbrella text. I don't think
he liked that one.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
Yeah, I'm like, hopefully it's all good because he did
not respond to it at all, So we'll see.
