Mabby Friday. Everybody, Welcome to another edition of NFL Fantasy
Live of Marcus Grant. That is Adam Ran, that is
Michael f florio, and we have made it all the
way to Friday. We have apparently some kind of sports
exchange program. Europeans are in New York Ryder Cup destroying us,
destroying us right now.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Thanks for that.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Not looking great.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Meanwhile, we said about now we got a we got
a game in ire List.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
The funny thing is is that that game starts earlier
than Arsenal's match on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Which is kind of wild. I always have to deal
record Arsenal because I don't wake up that early.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers kickoff Week four in Dublin
versus the Vikings, presented by Madden the NFL twenty six
It all gets underway Sunday nine thirty am Eastern only
on NFL Network and also streaming with NFL Plus. Subcritiary
required for NFL Plus visit plus dot NFL dot com
for terms. Here are the top fantasy scores for the
Steelers and Vikings. Aaron Rodgers a fringe QB one at
(01:41):
this point. Jalen Warren having a good start to his year.
You see three Vikings there in the middle of the
Vikings defense. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Mason all kind of hanging
around in the top twenty five, and the DK Metcalf
just outside the top thirty at his position. So we're
gonna go some starts, some sins, and some sleepers were
this Dublin game and rank If you are starting anybody,
(02:02):
who would it be?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
I mean, Justin Jefferson. I think that a lot of
people are panicking so far. You saw the numbers there
a moment ago. He's the He's a high end wide
receiver three right now, But that is not going to be.
That's not sustainable. He's gonna progress back to the main
to be the guy that we expected him to be
when he was drafted. And I get a lot of
questions people are concerned about Carson Wentz, but I said,
(02:25):
you know what, Carson Wentz has been a very effective
quarterback in this league when he gets an opportunity to play.
And anytime we see somebody come to Minnesota to play quarterback,
the first order of business is how do I take
care of Justin Jefferson. So I have no hesitation with
Justin Jefferson obviously in redraft leagues, but even if you're
sitting here playing in a DFS state, I really like
(02:46):
Justin Jefferson. I don't mind paying up for him this week.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, it could be a.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Good by low opportunity this weekend before he plays.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
And it kind of sad to.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
See that the Vikings top scorer is their defense, But
you did see Jordan Mason on that list. He went
off last week for over one hundred and ten yards,
two scores, twenty.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Four Fantasy points.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
He finished seventh at the position, and going back to
last season, we have seen that this guy could play
at a very high level. When he's given a chance
to start, and considering that it's going to be Carson Wentz,
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a very run
heavy attack by the Vikings, especially considering the Steelers are
top ten in yards allowed to running backs. And if
our football players are over there and the golfers are here,
(03:26):
does that mean we sent all of our real athletes
across the pond?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I don't understand. What what do you mean?
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Because football players are real athletes.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Golfers, I mean they don't run, they don't do anything.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Let's en to the sis. Who from this matchup were
you avoiding this week?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
I'm sitting Aaron Rodgers, who also cannot run at all.
He is the lowest air yards per throw in the
NFL this season, the fourth lowest success rate. He has
been running hot touchdown wise, that is what has elevated
him in fantasy. In fact, right now, his touchdown rate
would be his best since twenty twenty and the third best.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Of his career.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
So I expect that to regulate. And he has the
fewest yards per attempt against blitz this season, and he's
getting a very blitz heavy Vikings defense.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Well, I'm gonna go with DK Metcalf as a guy
to maybe avoid this week because you mentioned the touchdown
run for Aaron Rodgers, and look, he has seven touchdown passes.
Four of them came in the first game, which means
he's already started to slow down a little bit. The
problem for DK Metcalf is that this is kind of
a low volume, fairly inefficient passing offense, and they're spreading
the ball around to a bunch of guys. Six different
(04:37):
Steelers have double digit targets. Six different Steelers have at
least seven receptions. Going up against a good Vikings defense
makes me a little bit nervous. I would try to
get away from DK if you can. So I get
this two hour Sleepers for the week, and I'm gonna
go back, or at least for this game. I should say,
I'm gonna go back to the Vikings side and tell
(04:58):
you about Carson Wentz rank Linz in the in fact
that Wins has been around this league for a while
and given opportunities, he has generally played well. I know
the numbers weren't necessarily great, especially yardage wise last week,
but this is a Steelers defense that is giving up
a lot of passing yards the seventh most two hundred
and forty six passing yards per game, allowing more than
(05:18):
seventy percent completions, wins, a lot of easy, lot of
high percentage throws. I sort of think they keep that
going and if the Vikings can get yards after the
Catchens and being a pretty nice day for Carson Wentz,
you know.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
What, I actually just went and picked up Carson Wentz
in my league of record. I have Jayden Daniels, so
that we'll talk about that in a little bit. So
I'm gonna have to go with Carson Wentz because I
went with Michael Pennox last week. So I had to
make a rage. Jalen Warren, I think I'm a little
bit generous calling him a sleeper. He's been pretty good.
It's such as have increased in each game this season.
He's had at least eighty scrimmage yards in back to
(05:49):
back games, thirteen points in each one of those. Actually
in every game this season, the Vikings have allowed the
fifth most rushing attempts to running backs this season. Obviously,
with the Brian Flores d you've got to be a
little apprehensive, but what we've seen out of Jalen Warren
so far is that he is the true bell coal
in his back, and all the shares I have of
Caleb Johnson are just sitting there on my bench.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I picked up Kenneth Gainwell in a couple of spots
just because of that. Oh, by the way, I mentioned
Carson Wentz as a sleeper in case you didn't figure
it out. JJ McCarthy not going to be available for
the Vikings coming up this weekend, so that game kicks
off the Sunday slate. But we already have started Week
four with a nail bider down in the desert. Sam
Donold and Aaron Rodgers the only two quarterbacks since two
thousands who beat the Cardinals Arizona State and the Arizona
(06:35):
Wildcats in the state of Arizona. Sort Of fitting because
last night kind of felt like Pac twelve after.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Dark a little bit.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
We learned that what else did we learn.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
It play Northern Arizona at some point his San Clemente
team probably could have beaten them. But at any event,
we learned that Marvin Harrison can indeed catch the football.
He's getting a lot of criticism both online and with
Cardinals fans and everybody. When you watch his reaction to
me making that catch, you could tell how much that
meant to him. Obviously, he's a very talented player. It
(07:05):
has not gone well for him so far during his
young NFL career. And while we sit here and we
make comments about it or whatever, you have to realize
he is a great talent. He is going to be
a really good wide receiver in this league. It's been
a tough go. I've seen other wide receivers have tough guys.
I'm old enough to remember this is gonna be my
get off my lawn moment. But like I remember Jerry
(07:27):
Rice struggling when he first came into the NFL. So
I get it. Take your victory laps right now. While
Marvin Harrison's a little bit down, but he is going
to eventually be one of the top receivers in this league.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Him and Kyler Murray combined for like single digit Fantasy
points until halfway through the fourth quarter, and then they exploded.
I didn't love the usage that I saw for the
Cardinals running backs last night. Trey Benson was playing the
James Connor role, which is dominating usage on early downs,
but Emery de Mericato was playing the previous role that
was filled by Trey Benson, playing third downs and two
(07:59):
men drills.
Speaker 5 (08:00):
Now, perhaps this was.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Just a short week they didn't want to put too
much on Benson. What I expected more usage out of him.
And if this is how it's gonna look like, it's
gonna be, keep them as.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Both just like RB two or flex options.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I'm gonna go to the running backs on the other side.
And what I realize is that Kenneth Walker has a
Zach Charbonay problem. Walker was the more explosive of the
two backs. He got you a lot of big plays
in the rushing game. That is what they love him for.
The problem is, unless he breaks a long one for
a touchdown, his touchdown upside goes down significantly. It was
Zach Sharbona getting those opportunities. I look at somebody who
(08:34):
started Zach Scharbonay was glad to see him get the one,
much like the ref did to a JSN. I was
giving JSN a little bit of side eye after that
whole day call called back all my second rushing touchdown
for sharbon Ay. But he's gonna be the guy that
get those six pointers even if he's not super efficient
with the rest of his rushing attempts there. So that
is what we learned from Thursday Night Football.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
The week is off and running to call him Kine
Kenny Walker, I'm not doing We killed that yesterday.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah, I'm not doing Yeah, that's not doing it. Daniel
Jones has been one of the talk of the NFL
so far this season with the way he and the
Colets have played. Now they come to Los Angeles in
a big game against the Los Angeles Rams, and I'm
telling you, I think you can start Danny Dimes, Indiana
Jones whatever we're calling him that we named the dog Indiana. Look,
(09:26):
he's playing really, really well, obviously, But the biggest reason
I think you could have some faith in him is
because Mbile quarterbacks have hurt the Rams over the last
few years. You go back to twenty twenty three, nine
different quarterbacks have had at least forty rushing yards against
LA in that span. I know that doesn't seem like
a lot, but you also figure they're not playing a
guy who's gonna get out of the pocket and run
every single week. We've seen Jalen Hurts have big games.
(09:47):
Kyler Murray obviously, guys like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen,
but I think with the threat of Tyler Warren in
the middle of the field is the guy that the
Rams have to pay attention to. That potentially opened some
scrambling lanes for Daniel Jones, so I liked him keep
it going this week against the Rams. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
The funny part is when I was in Indiana this summer,
everyone there wanted Anthony Richardson, but I'm sure they're happy
with Danny Diamonds and you mentioned Tyler Warren, Marcus.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
I think he is a must start this week.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
The Rams.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
The one thing they've struggled with consistently outside of running
quarterbacks is tight ends. Last season, they allowed the most
fantasy points per game to the position. We saw Dallas
Goddard have a big day against them last week, and
I think this could be a game where the Colts
have to throw more than they have had to in
recent weeks because the Rams offense will put up points,
(10:34):
so more volume only means more Yak, I'm so confident
in Tyler Warren this week. I wore him on my
shirt today. So go ahead and get Tyler Warren into
your lineups this week.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
I'm just I'm hoping that's not the kiss of death
for those of us who are starting Tyler Lawren. Yeah,
let's let's hope for good things. Moving on to the
Browns and the Lions and Rankeon looking at a guy.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Who used to be the quarterback for the Yes, Jared Goff.
I'm going to say, beware of Jared Goff when you're
going up. This is going to be a theme moving
out throughout the course of the season, is that when
you're matched up against the Browns, you might want to
reconsider making a change at the quarterback position. Jared Goff
is top thirteen fantasy points in just one game this season,
(11:20):
and the Browns have allowed only one quarterback to score
more than twelve points in a game this year, and
that was Lamar Jackson. Cleveland has eleven sacks the season.
Goff was rattled by four sacks against Green Bay in
Week one. So I'm going to say, use a little
caution now, with five quarterbacks out with an injury or
somewhere similar to that, don't be crazy. Don't just go
(11:42):
out there and just willy nilly pulled Jared Goff out
of your lineup, because he does have ability. He can
go out there and torch a good defense. I'm just
saying that if you have another good option on your bench,
if you've been streaming quarterbacks that you might want to
you might want to consider that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
And on the other side, I think you should be
starting Quinn Judkins. He had a breakout game last week.
He dominated volume. I think he had all but one
running back carry in that game. He went for over
one hundred yards and they touchdown. And that came against
a really tough Green Bay Packers defense. And the thing
is he's only been with the Browns for a couple
of weeks. I think it's possible that we see him
(12:19):
get more and more utilized in the passing game.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
And the Lions.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
I know, on paper, on your fantasy app it might
say it is a tough matchup.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
I'm not saying it's not.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
But they do allow a lot of explosive runs to
running backs, and Judkins is very explosive.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
As we saw last week.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
So I think a lot of rookies are in play
this week, and especially the Browns running back.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
It's become a two headed backfield there. Dylan Sampson seems
like the odd man out it's Judkins and Jerome Ford
right now. Moving on to the Packers and the Cowboys,
big one on Sunday night football game with absolutely no
storylines that nobody is talking about in any way, shape
or form. I'm the Cowboys defense. It's bad.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
They've struggled a little bit. I think that Kenny Clark
has done some things there that have been pretty good.
But we've seen quarterbacks being able to take advantage of
that secondary, which is why Jordan Love is a must
start this week.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Might even be my quarterback one.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
I think that you know, he made some He made
a couple of bad decisions against the Browns last week. However,
a lot of that had to do with how well
the Browns defense was playing. Jordan Love is going to
take advantag He's going to bounce back this week. He's
gonna take advantage of his opportunities. Jordan Love is going
to go out there and spread the ball all over
the field. He like he's prone to do as long
as he cannot turn the ball over, and I don't
(13:33):
anticipate him doing that in this one. He had a
long stretch until last week of going with gains without
an interception. I think he restarts that streak this week
against the Dallas Cowboys. So Jordan Love is a must
start quarterback.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
So I'm going to go out on a limb and
try and pinpoint one Packers wide receiver ilud Lock. This
is There's no way this blows up in my face.
But I'm gonna go with the Romeo Dobbs, who right
now is sort of leading in a lot of them
tricks that we like from a wide receiver, talking about
routes run, talking about air yards per target, all of
those things. Knowing that the Cowboys are giving up a
(14:08):
lot of big plays in the passing game. I know
I've heard a lot of chatter on behalf of Matthew Golden.
I know Dantavian Wick is a guy who gets a
lot of targets. All this means is that Malie Keith
is going to be the guy that gets the most
Fantasy points. But I'm sticking with Romeo Dobbs for the
time being. Moving on our next game, it's going to
be the Chiefs and the Ravens, and just like we
(14:28):
all would have predicted, one of these teams is going
to be one and three after this game is all
said and done. Just kind of a wild state of affairs, Florida.
I'm looking here at the rundown and things must be
bad for a noted Isaiah Pachecko Truther to be propping
up Kareem Hunt this week.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Yeah, I hate this. I hate everything about this.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
I have Isaiah Pichecko on a lot of fantasy teams
and I want him to.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Be a thing.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
But unfortunately, Kareem Hunt is seeing a lot of volume
this season.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
And not only is he seeing.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Volume, valuable touches like he is getting the goal on
work for the Chiefs right now, and that could come
in handy because no team has allowed more touchdowns to
running backs rushing wise than the Ravens have this year.
You also see him get utilized in the passing game
and no team has allowed more catches to running backs
than the Ravens. So, unfortunately, Kareem Hunt the only chief
(15:20):
running back to reach double digits in a game this season.
Speaker 5 (15:23):
I think he is a sleeper this week.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
But one of the things we saw out of this
Ravens defense against Detroit on Monday night is that they
allowed a pair of running backs to go out there
and really get after them, which is why I would
feel comfortable starting both Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Pachecko. Again,
this is one of those situations where I was hoping
I've been keeping Isaiah Pachecko on the bench and been
trying to use some other options. But this is going
(15:45):
to be an Isaiah Pachecko week for me. I am
going to start him. Hope for the best. Otherwise he's
not going to get many more opportunities on my team anymore.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Yeah, I've got a couple of rosters where I'm sort
of pigeonholed into starting Isaiah Pacheck, right, He's kind of
holding my breath this That's what I'm hoping it works
out for me this week. Chargers at the Giants. Obviously,
the big news around Big Blue is a changing quarterback
with Jackson Dart. But Florio, you're keeping your eye on
somebody in the Giants backfield right now.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Yeah, someone that I think we're all excited about on
this show. Cam Scataboo, who last week led the team.
He led the Giants and carries rushing yards, targets, catches,
receiving yards, and he scored their only touchdown. The ASU
Giants were out there on Sunday Night Football last week
but no Tyrone Tracy. We're seeing that Dart and Scataboo
(16:35):
have chemistry.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
They get along really well.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
They're always together and stuff on the field, and we
saw in preseason some chemistry between them, and I think, look,
the Chargers are a tough, tough matchup, but I think
volume wins the day here and that is enough to
have Scataboo in the RB two or a flex option
for your teams.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Our producer Nick Sheppro is rocking his ASU polo shirt
right now. I'm sure he's doing it forks up in
the control room. On the other side, I got a
deep sleeper for you. It's a Rondez Gadsten the second
and we saw him make his debut last week and
was immediately heavily targeted seven targets in just twenty routes run. Look,
we know there's gonna be enough to go around for
(17:12):
Lad McConkie and Keenan Allen and Quinton Johnson. I think
all of those guys have really nice days. The other
part of this is though for a tight end, you
don't need a ton of production to be a top
twelve option. I think the Chargers are gonna throw the
ball enough I think they'll throw it effectively enough that
if you are looking for tight end help, if you're
looking to stream the position, that's a pretty good matchup
for Gadsten and the Chargers coming up this week. But
(17:35):
that's not the only thing we're talking about with this
Chargers Giants matchup. Time for our next gin nugget, where
we are once again joined by our pal next gen
Kin And you were looking at some slot options yesterday
on Slots of fun. I have kind of propped up
won Dale Robinson. I think you've got some little more
research to maybe validate my priors here.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Yeah, it took a little bit of a deeper dive
on it. Once you pointed this out, I was like, ooh,
maybe the Chargers have a little bit of a weakness here,
and it is truly to wide receivers specifically in the
slot here. Now, when you look at the numbers for
wide receivers against the Chargers in the slot, they're bottom
five in receiving yards, yards per target and EPA per
target allowed to wide receivers in the slot. Robinson leads
(18:17):
the NFL with one hundred and sixty three receiving yards
from the slot, and he should have plenty of opportunities
to use this advantage because he has the second highest
route participation rate from the slot this season. Just to
add another layer to this advantage, he is the second
most yards per target versus zone coverage and the Chargers
they've used zone at the fourth highest rate this season
(18:38):
at forty sorry, eighty three point five percent this season.
So combination of all of these things, I mean, we
should assume that the Giants are probably going to be
playing from behind in this game, so he's going to
have game script and he's going to have plenty of
opportunities to win from the slot, and that has been
where the Chargers have been weakest pass defense this season.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yeah, absolutely good stuff. Ken. Also, we saw Jackson Dart
be very aggressive in the preseason when he got his opportunities.
We'll see if he's willing to take some of those
downfield shots coming up this week against what's a pretty
good overall pass defense. Still more to come here on
NFL Fantasy Live. Baker has been cooking so far this
season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but a tough matchup
(19:21):
coming up, a showdown between he and Jalen Hurts. We'll
dive into that one coming up after the break. New

(19:43):

and what you need to know? This via Tom Pellasero.
Dan Quinn has officially ruled out Jaden Daniels and Terry
McLaurin for Sunday. Doctors didn't clear Daniels while McLaurin is
week to week, so two big pieces see from the
Washington Commander's offense Florida. What does this mean for the
(20:04):
Commies and maybe more importantly for fantasy managers.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Yeah, you need to replace Jadon Daniels obviously, and Marcus
Mariota is one route you could go. Last week, I
gave you ran for forty yards and a touchdown, gave
you over twenty fantasy points.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
We were hyping him up on.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Game day preview.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
You should watch me Yam and Cynthia this Sunday. But
I would check if fields are party or someone like
that was dropped in our Fantasy Live League, I was
able to pick up fields and I'm streaming him in
place of Daniels. As for the rest of the Commanders,
the Falcons are really tough against the pass and run
like Deebo would be the only one I think I
would not.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
Try to get away from in this matchup.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Well, that is a perfect segue as we talk about
this game. You do like Deebo Samuel this week?
Speaker 2 (20:46):
No, I really do. I think that we've started to
see some nice things out of Deebo Samuel ever since
he's come over to Washington. One are the things that
we really liked about him when he played in his
early years in San Francisco is plays like this. Cliff
Kingsbury has been really nice in designing some runs again
for Deebo Samuel, something that really made him special back
(21:06):
in those early days with the forty nine ers, And
now he's really kind of rebounded his career and made
a nice stride not only catching the football but also
running the football. So when I think of Marcus Mariota,
he's clearly not Jaden Daniels, but he does give you
some the threat of rushing that opens it up for Deebo.
So deebo is a pretty much a mustard for me
this week.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I mean, Marcus Marino's been around the leaks, like we
talked about with Carson Wentz, he knows how to move
an offense. On the other side, we're doing this again.
We're making Kyle Pitts a sleeper. Here's the thing. He's
not been great, he hasn't been terrible. He's been just
fine so far this season. I would say the bigger
problem with Kyle Pitts has just been the general inaccuracy
of Michael Pennock so far. But I do like the
(21:48):
matchup for Pitts going against Washington fifth most receiving yards
allowed to the tight end position. I know Darnell Mooney
is coming back, which maybe takes some targets off of
his plate, but I think the matchup wins the day,
and again I think should be fairly close and means
the gamescript won't be an issue for Pitts. Meanwhile, we
will move on to the Eagles and the Bucks, and
(22:09):
looking at this one, I'm a little bit nervous about
Baker Mayfield in this one, right. I know it's gonna
be hard to get away from him, but I will
tell you that if you can beware of Baker, that
you should be. We mentioned the quarterback injuries. There's probably
not a lot out there on the waiver wire, and look,
there's still a ceiling there for Baker Mayfield. But no
Mike Evans this week. Chris Godwin just coming back, making
(22:32):
his first game of this season, and more importantly, going
against a Philly defense holding opponents to a fifty eight
percent completion percentage. This is a defense that's faced Dak Prescott,
Patrick Mahomes and Matthew Stafford in the first three weeks
and they have not yet allowed a two hundred yard passer.
So again, maybe hard for you to get away from
Baker Mayfield, but just take a look. There's somebody out
there that maybe you feel a little bit better about.
(22:53):
It's at least worth investigating getting them in your lineup.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
What if you're streaming Baker and Jared Goff like these
are two guys who are good quarterbacks you have tough
decisions about. And you also have a very difficult decision
with Amica Abuka this week, who has been phenomenal coming
out so far with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A lot
of draft analysts loved him coming into this year, thought
that he was going to be perhaps the number one
wide receiver in this class. He's shown it so far
(23:18):
with at least twelve Fantasy points in each game this year.
I'm really interested to see how the Philadelphia Eagles attack
him this week. With Mike Evans being out he's been
having He's had some cover out there that he's been
able to go out there against single coverage and really flourish.
What happens when you don't have that? Is it going
to be a Mecca Abuka? Is it going to be
Sterling Shepard? One of these guys could break out because
(23:40):
the Eagles have given up some production to the wide
receiver position. But if you have other I'm still starting
him in some cases. But there are other spots where
I have, like Roma Dunes, where I'm able to keep
him on the bench.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Yeah, I'm putting him in, but again, sort of wary
about how it goes against this Eagle defense. But it
is now time for Seize the Season presented by Caesars
Sports Book. As we look a little bit deeper into
this Bucks Eagles matchup, here is the list of the
top first touchdown scores in that contest, say Kwon Barkley
at the top of the list, followed by Jalen Hurts,
(24:12):
he of the Tush Push. You got Bucky Irving, AJ Brown,
a Mecha Abuka, and DeVonta Smith rounding out the top
six options there. So for you, though, Florio, which guy
is the most appealing in that list?
Speaker 4 (24:24):
I know most people are gonna go with the running
backer Hurts, but give me AJ Brown because if you're
the Eagles and you look back at your three games
so far, the best your offense has looked is when
you started heavily including AJ Brown, and he has a
history of success against this Bucks defense. Plus they blitzed
at a very high rate. So Hurts, just float a
(24:45):
couple deep down the field for AJ Brown and let
him do his thing, and I think it'll lead to
good results for him.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
Here it is that Sees the Season presented by Caesars
Sports Book. New users can bet one dollar to boost

and a little shout out to Travis etn. According to
the Jaguars social media account eating yards like a lawnmower.
(25:12):
I'm trying to follow the analogy year I'm not tough.
I see the vision. I see the vision, not quite there,
but either way, Travis eten off to a good start
this season. The Jaguars head up to the Bay Area
to take on the San Francisco forty nine ers and Floio.
There's a much ballyhooed guy there in Jacksonville, not quite
(25:34):
living up to expectations so far.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
Yeah, this one hurts me a lot because I truly
believe Travis Hunter is an elite wide receiver prospect, but
the usage just hasn't been there. His offensive snaps had
dropped from sixty two percent to sixty to fifty three.
The targets had dropped from eight to six to two.
He is yet to top thirty five yards in a
game this season.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
So I'm not saying to cut him.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I think he's far too talented for that. But until
we see the usage change and more signs of life,
I think he has to hit the bench in fantasy
right now.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah. And Liam Cohen was talking about this week, like
taking a slower approach to both offensive and defensive packages
for Travis Hunter, which isn't great for fantasy, but it's
great for his future NFL career. And speaking of NFL careers,
Ricky Ricky Piersaw has been tremendous over one hundred receiving
yards in two of his first three weeks. He has
been a target monster for the San Francisco forty nine ers.
(26:29):
And for me, I love the Jackson. I love the
matchup against the Jaguars because they've allowed the second most targets,
third most receiving yards to wide receivers this season. They've
allowed the six most fantasy points per game to the
position as well, So regardless of the quarterback, it doesn't
matter because Ricky Piersall is going to go out there
and excel. And I think what we're seeing is him
(26:50):
emerging as the new wide receiver one for the forty
nine ers.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
He's definitely played that way, especially with everybody hurt, He's
stepped up and been a big part of that offense.
So far. We got the same and the Bills. In
fun fact, Spencer Ratler and Tyler Shuck both have the
same birthday and it happens to be on Sunday. I
think would be an excellent gift for them to give
to us would be the gift of Alvin Kamara, who
I like as a sleeper this week, and it's you know,
(27:14):
it's been a long time, maybe since his rookie year,
we've been able to call Kamara a sleeper. But yeah,
obviously the production has waned over what it was earlier
in his career, but he's still getting plenty of opportunity.
Eighty percent of the snaps in the offense, sixty percent
of the rushing attempts. And yeah, you look at that
Bill's defense and maybe you immediately are apprehensive, but they
right now ranked last against the run, giving up a
(27:36):
lot and see that yards per carry to opposing running
back or opposing rushing games I should say six point
two yards. Maybe he gets more targets. Hopefully he gets
more targets. Somebody should tell Spencer Rattler that it's okay
to throw the ball to forty one. I do think
gamescript's going to be an issue, so maybe we see
more targets, but either way, Kamara should be heavily involved.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Yeah, and on the other side, I was talking with
Stevie Johnson this week on Bill's back answer Breaking down
this game, and we think they're going to keep spreading
the ball out at a very high rate, which is
a good thing for Dalton Kincaid because he has been
the top target the last two games for the Bills.
We saw that last year before he was injured as well.
And with the Bills not airing it out much just
(28:16):
one pass last week of over ten air yards, they're
going with a lot more catch and run stuff and
that suits Dalton Kinkaid's skill set. Plus fourteen or more
Fantasy points in two of three, at least seven in
every game. And this is a matchup a lot like
last week where I don't expect Alan to be under
a ton of pressure, so if he could pick him apart,
that's good things for Dalton Kinkaid.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
It's a Dalton Kincaid on the plus side here. Moving on,
Bears head into Las Vegas to take on the Raiders.
Bears coming off a huge passing performance last week. Romodunze
has been a fantasy favorite early this season.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Yeah, this is one of the things that we expected
to be an eventuality for the Chicago Bears at some point,
was that Roma Dunze was gonna end up as the
number one wide receiver for this seam and it's our happened.
He leads the team with four touchdown receptions. He is
the only other he's the only player other than Keenan
Allen who has scored a touchdown or only receivers scored
(29:09):
a touchdown in every game this year. And what we're
seeing is the chemistry between Caleb Williams. This throw right there,
that was just a ridiculous throw and when he went
back and looked at it in the All twenty twos,
it was even better. But this is who he's been targeting.
I know that there's a lot of available pass catchers,
including DJ Moore. We saw it because four different wide
receivers caught or pass catchers caught touchdowns on Sunday, But
(29:32):
the preferred option is Roma Dunsay. In a great matchup
this week against the Las Vegas Raiders. We saw we heard,
I should say, Ben Johnson talk about this over the
last couple of days about whatever happened against the Cowboys
is in the past. They're looking forward. If this Bears
team wants to prove that last week was no fluke,
they got to have a great, great week against the
(29:53):
Raiders and it starts with Roma Dunzey.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
Yeah, I have Roma Dunsay as a must start as well.
I think he's a wide receiver one. And I also
think Ashton Genti is a must start in this one.
Last week he had a season high end rushing yards.
He also had his first two carries of over fifteen yards.
I think he is just starting to get more and
more comfortable in the NFL. His issue though the first
three weeks he is constantly getting hit behind the line
(30:18):
of scrimmage. This week he faces the Bears, who will
allowed the most yards before contact two running backs in
the NFL. They also have allowed just the most rushing
yards in general to the position, and they struggle with
explosive runs. So try to buy low on gent before
Sunday because I think his breakout game happens in week four.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Carroll's saying they want to get him more involved. I
think a lot of people feel like he's their best playmaker,
So we'll see if that happens. The NFL and the

Time Now, four duds to studs when we look at
some guys who might have let you down last week
in fantasy and predict whether or not they're gonna bounce
back this week. So, Florio, who is your dud who
turns into a stud in week four?
Speaker 5 (31:17):
I think it's bone Nicks.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
And if you were watching bon Nicks last week, you
saw how close he was to a huge Fantasy day.
Speaker 5 (31:24):
He missed Marvin Mims twice.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
In the end zone.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
One was over sixty yards, one would have been forty yards.
He missed Courtland saw In.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
On what would have been a huge game, maybe a touchdown.
But I think he gets better results this week because
he's facing the Bengals. They've allowed the eighth most passing yards,
fifth most touchdowns. They don't create a lot of pressure.
All of that, plus Bonix could run if he has to,
So I like bo on Monday Night.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
I would like to congratulate Trevion Henderson for making this
list for the third consecutive week.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
We're gonna get that.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
We're gonna keep doing it. We're gona keep putting him
out there. We did see the snapchair go up once
Antonio Gibson put the ball on the ground. But what's
because evident when you're watching the Patriots. I really do
believe that whether it's Gibson or Ramandre Stevenson, one of
those guys is going to have an early down role.
But what we're going to see is Josh McDaniels really
starts to evolve this offense a little bit. Is that
(32:14):
they've got to find creative ways to get the ball
to Henderson. They really need to do that. If this
Patriots offense wants to be successful, they've got to utilize him.
They've done a great job of mixing in guys like
hen Ter Henry and using some of their other available options.
But it's obvious when Henderson is out there, how talented
he is. Find him the ball in creative ways.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
I think this is his breakout week coming, I really do. Meanwhile,
Jamar Chase, it was frustrating last week watching him against
the Vikings. It was frustrating in general just watching the
Bengals offense against the Minnesota Vikings just six targets in
the game last week, but really wasn't for lack of effort.
They even got him a rushing attempt just because you
could see they were trying to get the ball in
his hands. Now, the matchup obviously not a good one
(32:58):
on paper against the in for Broncos. For what is worth,
when these teams met last year, jamashe has actually had
a really big game. The obvious caveat being that it
was Joe Burrow at quarterback and not Jake Browning. But
I do think that they try to feed him as
many opportunities as possible because they know that in order
to be successful, Jamar Chase has to have a big game.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Let's move to the tight end position. I'm gonna go
with David and Joku. It seems like every year there
is a tight end that we panic about. Last year
was Mark Andrews. I believe that people are getting a
little too little, too wild with David and Joku. His
targets have increased, those receptions, I should say, have increased
in each game this season. He is one of seven
tight ends who've had at least five targets in each
(33:39):
game this year. He's got a great matchup this week
against the Lions, who have allowed the fifth most fantasy
points per game to tight ends. We've seen it over
the last couple of weeks. Tight ends, especially Mark Andrews
speaking of did really well against them last week. So
I'm gonna be able to fire up David and Joku
with confidence this week.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
All right, David and Joku back in play for fantasy managers.
Moving to a match up in the AFC South between
the Tennessee Titans and the Houston Texans and Florio you're
going you're going deep in the bag for this one
in that Texans backfield.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah, a deep sleeper Woody Marks. Last week he split
snaps with Nick Chubb pretty much down the middle. They
split routes down the middle as well, and Marx. He
only had six carries and two targets, but he's on
the field a lot more and that is what we
want for him.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
It's a good matchup.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
The Titans have allowed the third most rushing yards and
they are tied for the most rushing touchdowns allowed two
running backs. But even if you don't have to start
Woody Marks this week, check if he's out there on
the waiver war. He is someone that I want on
my benches.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
If I could get him fight on Woody Marks, I'm
on board with that absolutely. I'm gonna tell you also
start the Texans defense in this one. See the Texans
haven't goven up a whole lot of points this season,
which is great because the Titans don't really score a
whole lot of points. This is gonna be, I think,
a relatively low scoring affair. If the Titan, rather the
Texans can get some pressure on cam Ward, I think
(35:03):
they can disrupt some things. Also, new play caller in
effect for the Titans. We'll see how this impacts their offense,
if there's some sort of learning curve or what have you.
But I think there's an opportunity for the Texans to
really get after it. Look, the reasons Houston has struggled
has nothing to do with their defense. They can't score
they points offensively, but the defense certainly giving them a
chance to win pretty much every week. One more here
(35:24):
in this segment, we're gonna get you the New England
Patriots and the Carolina Panthers. You heard Rank talking about
Treyvon Henderson. I'm gonna go on the other side again
and give you the Patriots defense as a starting option
for fantasy managers this week. If you are of the
streaming persuasion, can I interest you in a Carolina Panthers
offense that's averaging four point three yards per play, which
(35:46):
is the third worst in the NFL six giveaways in
their first three games. On the Patriots, they are giving
up some things through the air, but they do have
the number two ranked run defense, and fantasy defenses have
scored double digit points against Carolina into the first three weeks.
We're looking sideways at you. Atlanta Falcons, Aaron Rodgers and
the Steelers kickoff Week four in Dublin versus the Vikings

and getting your question to doing our best to give
you answers. As we wrap up here this Friday edition
of Fantasy Live. This one for you, Florio, I have
Javonte Williams and Brian Thomas Junior. For my flex, which
one should I go for?
Speaker 4 (36:41):
I don't love the matchup at all for Javonte this week.
He is the safe floor play, though I think I
go that route.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
Unless you need a home run hitter, then it's Brian
Thomas jet all.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Right, this one for you. Rank Caleb Williams or bo
Nix this week?
Speaker 2 (36:56):
It's too close to my heart. I would tell most
normal people to go with Kayleb Williams. I really do.
I really love the way that Bears have approached this week,
with Kayleb Williams being selected as the Offensive Player of
the Week for the NFC. They've really just wanted to
focus on the Raiders, not dwell on the past.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
I love that attitude, all right, So moving on, I
see I do like Bonnette Bear's moving on. We're also
moving on to the next question. Should I trade Bucky
Bucky Irving presumably for Rome. I'm I would say, I'm
just gonna selling a cop out. But if you need
the wide receiver help, if you're good at running back,
then absolutely do that. You know, it's hard to sort
of tell in a vacuum, but I think Romo Dunesa
(37:34):
is primed for a huge season, So if you need
the help you can afford the running back, then I
absolutely would do that. One back around to you, Florio,
this one, Should I trade Alvin Kamara for oh Marion
Hampton in PPR?
Speaker 4 (37:48):
Except that now before the other manager could even consider it,
I think a Marian Hampton is an RB one moving
forward and Kamara is tied to one of the lower
offenses in the league.
Speaker 5 (37:57):
So yeah, I'm doing this all day, all right.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
One last one, This one a tight end question for you.
Rank Should I who should I start? Kelsey or Henry
in the tight end spot?
Speaker 2 (38:06):
You know, if you're gonna base it on production and numbers,
it's it's Hunter Henry. If you have a ten year
old daughter who loves Taylor Swift and you go Travis Kelsey,
all right.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
I do think it's a decent week. Maybe not a
great week, but a decent one for Travis Kelcey. Time
now to peer into our crystal balls and get you
Monday's headlines today in case you don't have time to
watch football over the week, and we're gonna let you
know what happened right now, Florida, what is your headline
for next.
Speaker 4 (38:30):
Week, Omarion puts an ice box where Big Blues Heart
used to be. Look, Rak, I finally get how you
feel when I don't understand your references. Because Kendall asks
me if this was from the Little Giants.
Speaker 5 (38:41):
I don't know if you even get this reference.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
But O'maron Hampton is going to absolutely eat this week
against the Giants.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Remind me of that episode of the Office where he's
like doing a thing. Jordan Love Conckers, all Green Bay
Packers are joyce now. Everybody can stop talking about his
interception against the Cleveland Browns, the Love Conckers, all everything
that's going on with the Dallas Cowboys and the Green
Bay Packers this week. A lot of it is surrounding
Micah Parsons, but the biggest story is going to be
(39:08):
Jordan Love going back out there and having some production. Obviously,
last week was a tough week for the Packers and
the Packers fans, even though I predicted it. No matter
what we're talking about now, is Love conquering this Cowboys defense.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
I'm gonna go with cool Breeze blows through Miami. I
mean Breese Hall. I think is set up for a
huge week against a Miami defense that has really been struggling.
I think you add in the threat of Justin Field's
being able to get out and run means that's something
else that those linebackers have to pay attention to. But
Breeze Hall maybe not the eye popping numbers we hoped for,
but I think this is a week that he puts
together some solid numbers. I like him as an RB
(39:41):
one this week on Monday Night football against the Miami Dolphins.
There you go. Those are Mondays headlines today. Just in
case you don't get a chance to hang out with
us this week, please come back and hang out with
us on Monday.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
I don't know what is it, Justin Fields for a touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
We like that a whole lot. Be sure to come
back with us on Monday. We are recapping him everything
that happened from Sunday getting ready for Monday Night football
for Floria, for Rank A Marcus. It's all the week
and everybody. We'll see it again on the m
