Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:11):

I'm Patrick Clayban. I'll be joined by Marcus Grant and
Adam Rank. Coming up today, we're handing out some mid
season fantasy awards, the late round value pick of the
year so far, and the Fantasy busts of the first half.
Plus we've got our predictions for Week ten's top fantasy performers,
and Adam Rank opens up the waiver wire hot sauce

(00:31):
to help you spice up your roster. All that today
on the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. Everybody, Welcome to NFL
Fantasy I've Patrick Clip I'm here kicking off Week ten
with Adam Rank and Marcus Grant. And if you are
in line to vote for the mid season Fantasy Football Awards,
stay in line because we got two more for you today,
right we do.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
I listen, man, the numbers speak for themselves and people
love their mid season award.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Wow, we're just calling them mid Yeah. We have the
highs and the lows.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Right with a good one, we have a bad one,
and I like that we buried the bad one for
the back.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
End of the show. We do have some bad at
the top of the show because one team did not
win on Monday Night football. Let's recap the activity in
a great performance from Jacoby present because he's playing against
the defensive was love very good.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yeah, I get that it's still in an NFL defense
and you should never apologize for wins in this league.
He had two hundred and sixty one passing yards, which
could have been a lot more if the Cowboys have
been putting up much of a fight. He's had more
than nineteen Fantasy points in each of his three starts
this season.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
But I think the thing that I look at the.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Most is that Marvin Harrison Junior looks like a much
better player. The tight end looks like a much better player.
I was gonna say, trade Benson, that's not the right guy.
But everybody plays better when he's the quarterback. So what
are we doing here? It's the trade deadline? What are
we going to do with Kyler Murray? Because I think
that Jacoby Brissaid makes them better.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Well, you mentioned Marvin Harrison and had a fantastic game.
I had a career high in reception seven catches last night,
ninety six shards and any touchdown. And if you don't
mind I'm gonna take little bit of a humble brag.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
On that one.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
He appeared in the sleepers column from last week and
actually showed out. And yeah, sure it was not a
great defense that he played against, but he came any steps. Look,
if he had had a bad game against the Cowboys,
we would be giving him hell for it.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So here he is.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
He stayed, He played well against a good defense. Look,
I still don't know if you can trust him every
single week, but to your point, whereik, he's certainly a
better option with Jacobe Brissett at quarterback than he was
with Kyler Murray.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Him and Trey McBride looks so much better when he
was a quarterback. By the way, I think I need
to take a little bit of an HB too, because
take it to the rank more for four this weekend.
The final piece a touchdown at any possible moment from
Marvin Harrison Junior, which he did against this Cowboys defense.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yes, it's a probably one of the easier legs in
that Hey, many of Ruckle Wilson's hot as a trade
deadline for being good. I guess the Dallas Cowboys. Let's
go to Amari de Mercado and this Cardinals running attack,
and I will say a Mari de Mercado because he
had the better fantasy performance and more opportunity. He had
fourteen carries to Donovan bam Knight's nine. And in terms

(03:10):
of evaluating this team, I know there was the de
Mericado incident a few weeks ago. People are like, oh,
it's all over for a Mari de Mercado.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
No.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Jonathan Gannett came out and apologized for his reaction, and
we see it's actually maybe de Mercado the back that
we want in the desert.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
We'll talk about that a little bit later.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
The breaking news Dak Prescott not traded today, Thank goodness.
His fame on Monday night not bad. I mean, it
wasn't terrible, but at the same time, it's like I
wanted it.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
A little bit more. It is like having Mexican food
in Arizona.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You're like that want a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I wanted it to be a little bit better. Like
it was fine, but it could have been so much better.
And this is what we've been doing with Dak Prescott.
I don't know what was happening on Monday night because
everything lent itself, like Ceedee Lambs there, George Pickens, Is
there anybody who's going into this game expecting a big output?
It was all there for the tanking, but unfortunately it
did not quite work out that way. And this season

(04:07):
I spent a lot of draft capital on Dak Prescott
said it's a touchmore. This is not crazy. He's a
good player. I really like Dak Prescott. I just want
a little.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Bit, just a little bit more. We're not to the
point where we're gonna tell Rank to chill on Dak Prescott.
That is coming up later on in the show, but
right now, we got a couple more awards to give
out in the mid season fantasy category. We will start
for the late round pick of the midseason. We are
halfway through twenty twenty five. Marcus Grant, who are you
nominating today? I'm gonna go with Drake May. It's been

(04:39):
May Day or May year.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I guess for the young quarterback and we saw flashes
of it last year, but really has taken his game
to the next level. You see that he was drafted
as the QB sixteen. This season, he is the QB
two overall five games with twenty or more fantasy points,
He's fifth in passing yards in the NFL. He's fifth
in rushing yards among quarterbacks. He's done a little bit
of every and really has done it without having that

(05:02):
one go to receiver that he's locked in on Stefan Diggs.
Has it looked like the past what we see from
him in the past. Hunter Henry shows up occasionally, Kayshawn
Booty has flashed, but he hasn't had that one go
to guy yet. He's still getting it done and at
this point, Drake May is an unquestioned every week starter
for your fantasy team.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Michael Pittman,
who is currently the wide receiver six this season close
one hundred and fifty fantasy points.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
On the year.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
However, he was being drafted in the ninth round as
the wide receiver forty seven. Currently, he has six receiving
touchdowns this year five games with at least nineteen fantasy points.
Only Kuka Nikoua and JSN have more amongst wide receiversh we.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Want to talk about a guy drafted relatively low and
having a lot of success. What about your top excuse me,
number two tight end Jake Ferguson, And I know the
last couple of weeks have not been ideal for you,
Jake Ferguson, Managers, But what about the start of the season,
Jake Ferguson getting you in a great position. One hundred
and twenty eight point four Fantasy points on a twelfth

(06:13):
round ADP the tight end fifteen.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Off the board.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
So let's go to the polls. Let's find out, Oh
who nervous?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
The value I got gonna win Fantasy Pic of the
Year is Ian.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Drake the selection there, Marcus, Congratulations you nominated the winners.
Do I get something for this? Yeah? It's all the
stuff that goes to Drake May will go to you
and then you will be tasked with giving that to
Drake May. Nice. Now let's take a look at the
perfect lineup here wrapping up Week nine. Congratulations to you,

(06:52):
Caleb Williams Managers, Drake London as well with those three
touchdowns Brop Powers putting up a monster game in his
first game back healthy after the buy for the Raiders,
the total score of two hundred and eighty one. So
let's pick out the perfect lineup for next week. As
we get to the ones for Week ten, who will
be your quarterback one Adam.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Ran well as the on questioned number one Josh Allen
fan on this show. I gotta go with Josh Allen,
who has put up a career of about twenty six
twenty seven fantasy points per game against the Miami Dolphins.
And this Miami Dolphins team comes into this game having
allowed the eighth most fantasy points to the position. One

(07:33):
of the reasons why it's not higher is that these
teams start blowing out the Dolphins and they you know,
they run the ball. The good news is for Josh Allen,
he's their goal line back, so there is plenty of
opportunity for Josh Allen this week against Miami.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Well, I'm going to go with Justin Herbert, and I
will start by.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Saying, losing Joe Alt after you've already lost Rayshawn Slater
not optimal. But he has played some really good football
this year. And you look at who leads all quarterbacks
in rushing yards. It's not Josh Allen. I mean, Lamar
Jackson's been hurt. It's not justin fields, it's Justin Herbert.
Over three hundred rushing yards so far this season. He's
got three really good wide receivers and a breakout tight end,

(08:13):
so a lot of weapons there. He will have to
get the ball out quicker, but also a good matchup
because these Steelers have been very generous to fantasy quarterbacks.
So I still believe that Justin Herbert can put up
a really nice number this week.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Let's go to the.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Running back position. I will select the RB one and
I missed with JT last week, so let's get a
bounce back for JT in Berlin as we all rise,
shine and watch Sunday morning on NFL Network taking on
the Atlanta Falcons, who have allowed the second most fantasy
points per game to running backs in the last four weeks.
I think, as we heard from Shane Steichen, felt like

(08:44):
they could have been more balanced. That felt like code do, Yeah,
we should have given the ball to twenty eight just
a few more times. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
I think that was a pretty good idea there. In hindsight,
I'm gonna stick with the Bills stack. I'm gonna go
with James Cook, who is averaged more than twenty fantasy
points in this last three games against the Miami Dolphins.
He's averaging over a one hundred and eight rushing yards
per game this season. That's the most in the NFL.
And again, this Dolphins defense is down. Having allowed the

(09:12):
third most rushing yards to running backs the season, they've
allowed the six most fantasy points per game to the position.
James Cook is a really easy call for me. Wide
receiver one Marcus who.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
We got, I'm gonna double up.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Drake London was the guy.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
London in Berlin who says.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
The NFL is an an international game. The guy's just
been getting a ton of opportunity. Thirty percent target share,
thirty six percent air yards share, double digit targets in
each of the last four games he's played, he's been
over one hundred and ten yards and three of his
last four and going against Look, I know the Colts
made a trade, but still been a very good matchup
for wide receivers. So I feel like it's gonna be

(09:50):
snooze off, game on for Drake London in Berlin this week.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yes, shine and watch everybody.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
I will take I'm on Ross Saint Brown as my
wide receiver one pick. He's had sixteen games with eighteen
or more fantasy points this season. You change a couple
of circumstances, you could have had seven last week in
a loss for the lines. I think it's a bounce
back going up against the Commander's team that's not only
just hurt, but it's allowed the fourth most Fantasy points
per game to wide receivers in the last four weeks.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
So those are our ones for Week ten.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
And the trade deadline has now passed, so it's not
for some news in case you missed it. We will
start with the Raiders trading Jacoby Myers, who is going
to the Jacksonville Jaguars who have some injuries at receivers
that they have to deal with. Myers was not a
big part of Vegas's offense this season, but it seems
like they need help in Jacksonville. They're going to get
it right now.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
This is a pretty good move for them.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
I actually really like this one because Number one Travis
Hunter is going to be some time as he's currently
on the IR. Brian Thomas Junior did not play an
overtime against the Raiders because he was battling an ankle injury,
and Jacoby Myers will go out there and do a
lot of the dirty work, run over the middle, do
some of the things that could help open it up
for Brian Thomas Junior. So I really think that Jacksonville.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
I love what there. I love their approach.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
I love that they're going for it, and I think
this is a good move for our friends down in Duval,
all the.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Other receiver on the move. The Saints traded Rashid the
Heat as many expected, but chagrin on one side of
our studios kindles over there reacting the Bills did not
get Rashid Shaheed. The Seahawks do. Marcus, how do you
see this impacting fantasy football?

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Well, I look, Jackson Smith and Jig but still going
to be a target monster there. But the Seahawks realized
they needed something to compliment him.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
He's got seventy nine targets.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
The next closest is Cooper Cup at thirty three, So
Shhi can be another guy that can certainly stretch the field,
can get open, be another good target for Sam Darnold.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
So I like this move.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
I think he's going to get an upgrade sort of
in quarterback play from where he was in New Orleans.
As we're back with the Saints, Chris Olave still physicially
looking like the guy after that. Who knows, because it's
kind of been a mishmash of opportunity there. So I
don't know if there's one guy that necessarily absorbs this
big loss for the Northern Saints passing game.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Big departures in New York today as Sauce Gardner goes
to the Colts, by the way, Quinn Williams going to
the Cowboys as well. So big pieces of that Jets
defense gone. But that Colt strade gets the Jets two
first round picks, and ad Mitchell, the Colts have been
struggling against wide receivers. Does that change with Sauce in
the fold right? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:20):
It is something that again when you're doing matchups and
you're like, oh, because typically we've been picking on the
Indianapolis Colts, being like the number one wide receiver against
the Colts, we can go ahead and start in Sauce Gardner.
Gives you a little bit of a pause right there.
But at the same time, I'm looking at this Jets
team and this Jets defense. Now we got to start
loading up in starting guys against the Jets.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Now.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I'm not going to sit there and start a bunch
of Cleveland Browns this week.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
But I think moving forward now that when you see
the Jets out there, it is a favorable matchup. And
by the way, for all of us who are roasting
the Dallas Cowboys earlier this morning as they traded for
some random linebacker from the Bengals, like this was a
big move, Jerry, Quentin Williams actually was pretty.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Good move, got it?

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Sorry, Jerry, I know the jokes.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
You didn't hear me say before I take that, I
walk them back, and that obviously was the move he
was talking about.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Yeah, the Cowboys found themselves for some reason, needing to
acquire some talent on the defensive line in Dallas. They
get it in a big way in terms of Quentin Williams.
More to come here on Fantasy Live. We're looking forward
to you. Heard from Marcus and Rice all into Sauce
Gardner's debut not in the midwestprot in Berlin. Sunday morning,
the Falcons and the Colts live at nine thirty am

(13:31):
Eastern on the NFL Network and NFL Plus. Pregame covered
starts with game day kickoff at seven am Eastern on
NFL Network. Considering the way the season is gone, we
didn't expect brock Bauers to produce the number one fantasy
performance this season at any position. But now that he has,
can you bank on Bowers returning to his twenty twenty
four level success or was this a one week jackpot

(13:52):
in Vegas? Marcus separates real from mirage in the desert
next on fantasy line. Ours is good, we know, but
that performance was so good and as we know, eyewitness
testimony can be unreliable in some circumstances. Marcus grant, it's
going to separate the real.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
From the mirage. Brock being back made.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
The Raiders watchable. Was it real for Brock with this
kind of production or was that a moron?

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (14:18):
No, this was absolutely real from Brock Bowers.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
I mean, okay, yes, three touchdowns every single week probably
not so real. But I mean you look at his
impact on this offense. He missed three games, still third
on the team in targets, was second in receiving yards.
Then in week nine he comes out. He's targeted on
nearly forty percent of his routes. Last year was targeted
on just over a quarter of his routes. He is,
without a doubt, the alpha in the Raiders passing game,

(14:43):
and now with those Jacobe Myers, they might just build
a whole plane out of brock Bowers.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
But absolutely what we saw from him in week nine
was the real deal. And so piloting now the entire plane,
which is all brock Bowers, we have Gino Smith Marcus
who look back to being more gino ish. Was that
real or was that a Moran?

Speaker 4 (15:04):
It's raj ish, right, I mean kind of like the
big hotel down there on the strip. It was nice
that he got to the four touchdown passes this past week.
That's if you were brave enough or in dire enough
straits to have started him. Look, I got a dynasty
team where I had to start him because I just
didn't have any other options. But it's just a third
game this year with double digit Fantasy points. He's still
continually under pressure. He's been one of the least quarterback

(15:27):
well at least efficient quarterbacks in the league when he's
under pressure, been sacked twenty one times. So having brought
Bauers back it will help quite a bit, but I'm
gonna need to see some consistency before I decide that
he's turned the corner.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
All right, So Gino gets the mirage tag, and we've
seen Rico's run through the NFC these past few weeks.
It looks great. It wasn't as much Tuba against the Packers.
Is that level of opportunity for Rico real or moran?

Speaker 4 (15:53):
I think this is absolutely real and it's sort of
a continuation of what he's been doing for the last
few weeks. Right, he had the game with two hundred
yards against the Dolphins. He went big against the Cowboys
in an absolute true revenge game there, and then one
hundred and thirty yards against the Packers, who've been one
of the toughest matchups for running backs all year long,
seventy five percent of the rushing attempts. At this point,

(16:14):
he is making Truba Hubbard completely irrelevant in that that
Carolina offense there so and even Dave Canallis coming into
last week said we've got to find ways.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
To get Rico Daldle more opportunities.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
So I think this is what we're going to see
for the foreseeable future for the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
All Right, so a great reco performance continues. There will
wrap this up with a bear as there was no
Roshawn Johnson, no DeAndre Swift, we hadn Kyle Mcanung guy games.
Was that real or was it a Bengals defense.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
It was a.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Little bit of a miriage, you know, the Bengals defense involved.
I'll say this from obviously a yardage standpoint, it was
absolutely a mirage. Right. You're not gonna get one hundred
and seventy some odd rushing yards every single week out
of Kyle mnung guy. But I think there's reason to
be encouraged because you're seeing him integrate more and more
into the offense. They've been really good at running the
football since coming out of the by You know, they

(17:04):
shuffle some things along their offensive line as well. So
even when DeAndre Swift comes back, I still think Swift
is gonna be the.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
RB one there. But if we're gonna hold.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
With this this analogy right of Ben Johnson coming over there,
de Andre Swift is going to be the sonic And
it looks like you might have found his knuckles there
in kyleman unguy All right, Well.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
We're gonna get the knuckles up because featured in That's
in the Way Everywhere Hot Sauce once upon a time
was kyleman Nungar. Now you need him on your roster.
Let's go out of right.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Thank you so much, Patrick, Yes, that one delivered. Tyrone
Tracy last week did not make the table.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Thanks a lot.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Brian Daball the only guy, the only bald guy in
the world who hates sunscreen more than me. I didn't
think that there was a person alive who.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Would do that.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
But we still have four flavor profiles ready for you.
Let's start with mild, and when we go mild, we
go to Arizona.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Listen, I was. I was in Gilbert a couple of
weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
I walked into a place that was a former dwelling
turned into an eating establishment.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I'm dumb. I expected more. It did not come through.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Much like every year, I'll roll into spring training going
to Tempe Diablo Stadium thinking this will be the Angels year,
and it's not going to be. But I still do
it that notwithstanding, we like Trey Benson, even though he
has not returned to the Arizona Carginals yet. We were
talking about the performances by dam Knight and De Mercato.
Trey Benson is the guy that I think that we
want because he could end up being a number two

(18:28):
in RB two. Excuse me for you moving forward when
he returns. So again, this is a speculation play. It's
like I speculate every time I walk into an establishment
in Arizona and I.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Think it's going to be good.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
It never is, Patrick, it never is, but we still
do it. Anyways.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Moving up, let's get a little spicy that one got there.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Uh, we're gonna go to We're gonna have a couple
of tight ends this week.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
We're gonna start off right now with Luke Musgrave, who,
much like the alleged spicy mustard in Wisconsin, that's good.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
It's fine, as spicy as Wisconsin Heights would lead you
to believe, but still pretty good.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
One of the things that holds back that spicy beard
mustard is.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
The fact that it doesn't have the kick. It doesn't
have a punch to the gut.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
And that's what Tucker Kraft gave us. He was an
absolute yack monster. That's what made him so good and
why it's going to be so hard to replicate what
he was able to do with the Green Bay Packers.
Even though Luke Muskrave is spine is not bad, it's still.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Not as good as it could have been. And of
course it's one of those things.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
It's like, listen, Luke Muskrave could be worse, which would
be a great tagline for the Wisconsin Visitors Bureau. Hey,
Wisconsin could be worse. Bet right, all right, let's go,
let's get three alarm. Watch up in ESSM three alarm.
We're gonna go with my guy, THEO Johnson. Don't let
anybody tell you that you can't go out there and

(19:50):
find some spice in the middle of New York City.
As a matter of fact, last year, I was walking
through the village and I stopped at a place called
the Beer Garage. So if you're ever there, Patrick, checking
out the friend's apartment, it's right across from the Lucille Ortelde.
Remember remember when Joey did that play Who Can Do?
With Sigmund Freud? And he did the thing. Well, listen

(20:11):
right there, some of the spiciest guacamole I've ever had
in my life. I was not expecting that. Similarly, I
have not been expecting what we've seen out of Theo
Johnson so far this season.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Ever since Jackson.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Darth has taken over as quarterback of the New York Giants,
He's averaged just over five targets per game. He's getting
a lot more opportunities with him. This is a player
that he gets targeted a lot by Jackson. So I
think that if you need a tight end, this might,
even though it's a spicier option, he might be.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
The guy to go with.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
And finally, let's get thermonuclear with my MVP. There's Johnson
there for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, much like Jimmy's Taco's
over there on seventeenth Street and Yebor City brings a
lot of spice. Not expecting that and this we have
not been expected what we've seen out of Test Johnson

(21:01):
and Meccabuka. We figured he was going to go out
there and be great for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But
Tests has been pretty good in his own right. He's
had at least nine Fantasy points in four consecutive games.
He is second on the team and targets receptions all
the available targets there and sophomore you So, if you
are looking for a wide receiver, especially this week, so
many big names are going to be out Ceedee Lamb,

(21:22):
Jamar Chase, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers, you need
to go out there and pick up a guy. See
if tes Johnson is available in your league, and ladies
and gentlemen, that was it.

Speaker 2 (21:34):

can make trades to lift up both teams. So we'll
start with who we are targeting, who we traded for.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Right, Well, this is gonna seem pretty obvious, but I'm
going to try to trade for Colston Loveland. And I
know a lot of the nerdlings out there and.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Say against this isn't any Bengal.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Yeah, listen, his snaps or excuse me, his snaps have
increased in four consecutive games. He started this season injured,
dorks like that was the reason he wasn't on the field,
like he was battling through an injury. And even last
year at Michigan. He was battling through an injury as well.
But you look back at what he did and what
I thought was his sophomore year, junior whatever it was.

(22:34):
He's an absolute monster. So this when I watch him,
he reminds me of Gronk Like that is that is
the profile that they're going after. Tyler Warren is a
great player, like he will be the Colts Dallas Clark
two point zero. But I think Colston Lovelin has an
opportunity to be the Gronk of the Bears or the
Sam Laporta, which is what Ben Johnson has talked about

(22:55):
as well. So I'm here for it and I'm gonna
go with Colston Lovelin. Am I giving up who I'm
trading away for?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
No, No, you're not. I mean done. No, We're done.
We'll get to who we're trading away to get Colson
Loveland perhaps, Well, now Marcus is going.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
To trade four Wondale Robinson, who's really been a big
part of the Giants offense. Even before Eleague Neighbors got hurt,
Wandale Robinson was getting.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
A lot of opportunity.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
It has gone up since Neighbors left with the injury
and really, the return of Darius Slayton hasn't significantly impacted
Robinson's usage.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Six games this year with.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
At least a twenty five percent target share, six games
at least seven targets, and you look the rest of
the way.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Pretty favorable schedule.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
He's got games against the Bears, Lions, Commanders, and in
Championship Week he gets the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
So a lot of upside there with Wandale Robinson. I
am going to use recncy bias as an opportunity for
you to trade for a mecca at Buka, who had
twenty point five points per game in weeks one through five. Remember,
Abuka got hurt, as did the rest of the entire
Bucks roster, probably came back a touch early. He's at
six points per game since Week six, and then he

(24:00):
goes out on the buy. Yeah, I think I Becabok
is a good player. Perhaps somebody who's gone through those
losses in those recent weeks is in a situation where
they need a player at another spot, and I will
provide an opportunity for one of those players. We'll get
to my player that I am going to trade away,
but for now, now we find out who rank is.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Trade are We're getting Rob Gronkowski straight up Cuba Hubbard
for Carlson Lovelett. Now Tuba Hubbard one of the Obviously
the value is down, he's not. It's not like we're
trying to trade Rico Doddle. However, this is where I
have been trying to work some magic out in leagues
where I don't have Rico Dondell, but I ended up
with Chuba Hubbard. I'm trying to send him to the

(24:44):
team that has Rico Dondell in a thing, in a
desperation attempt, because I legitimately could probably just Dropchuba Hubbard.
So I'm trying to get anything of value for him.
And again, if you see somebody who has Rico Donnal
and you have Chuba Hubbard and you're like, no, maybe
don't you want to handcoff same thing with like Brian
Robinson Jr.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Find the guy. If you have Brian Robinson Jr.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Without having Christian McCaffrey, there's an opportunity then to be like, hey,
do you want your handcup trying to make these moves
because right now you know who your starters are, who
you're going to be relying on, and who is just
excess that you don't need anymore, and Chuba Hubbard kind
of fits that profile for me.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Well, I'm going to trade away JK.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Dobbins because we said this over and over again, right
Sean Payton. Trusting Sean Payton is sort of like you know,
eating last year's Halloween candy. Like you can do it,
but I wouldn't advise it. I've seen Dobbins starting to
lose some snaps to RJ. Harvey, especially in the passing game.
It's a den er offense that's been a lot more
pass heavy over the past few weeks. Dobbins himself hasn't
been in the end zone since Week five. You look

(25:42):
at the schedule the rest of the way, especially in
the playoffs, and I know playoff schedules can sort of
change week to week, but you have the Packers, the
Jaguars and the Chiefs, all three teams that have been
really tough to run on so far this season.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
So you got a lot on JK. Dobbins. He's had
a very good year.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
This might be the time though, to maybe make him
somebody else's concern.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
We are on the exact opposite side of this trade
because I think you trade away RJ. Harvey, And yes,
if you're looking at the past few weeks where the
Broncos have struggled on offense and then needed to throw
late into the fourth quarter, the fourth quarters where r. J.
Harvey is doing exclusively his work as a receiver. He's
got four career receiving touchdowns, all of them have been

(26:21):
in the fourth quarter. He's only got twenty or more
snaps in two of nine career games, eight or more
carries in one of nine career games. Yes, sir, the
rank is telling me the fourth quarter points count as well.
But I would like to surmise my theory here that
I'm supposing is that the Broncos will be good in
the first three quarters at some point of the twenty
twenty five season. And so we'll see who's on the

(26:43):
right side of this coin flip in the denver back
of both both us always an answer here. We're taking
a break, but before we go, enjoy this list of
quarterbacks that outscore Jordan Love in Week nine. Tyler Shuck,
Jacobin Versaid, Mac Jones, Mike Glennon, I'm kidding about the
last one. Is it time to pay on the Packers quarterback?
Find out next on NFL Fantasy Line. Welcome back to

(27:08):
Fantasy Live.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
This Sunday, the NFL takes the field in Berlin for
the first time as the Falcons square off against the
Colts in a historic early morning showdown. It's Sunday Morning Football, Sunday,
nine thirty am Eastern only on NFL Network and streaming
with NFL Plus. Subscription required for NFL Plus visit Plus
dot NFL.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Dot com four terms.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
So with bys coming over the next couple of weeks,
you are going to be shorthanded at the wide receiver position.
A look at some of the names that will be missing,
Jamar Chasing T. Higgins, got prepair of Cowboys with Lamb
and Pickins, a couple of Chiefs with Rice and Worthy,
Michael Pittman Junior and Chris o'lave all getting days off
in the next couple of weeks. So it gets us
to my five and I've got my five wide receivers

(27:51):
that you be streaming potentially in weeks ten and eleven.
Some guys maybe on the waiver wires, some guys maybe
on the pinch that can.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Help get you through the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
We'll start at number five down in Houston with Xavier Hutchinson. Now,
I know the Texans passing game has been a little
bit wonky so far this year, but Hutchinson's the second
most targeted wide receiver for the Texans.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
He's seen an.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Increased target share over the past couple of weeks. Certainly
would feel better if CJ. Shout is back and ready
to go at quarterback, But the upcoming schedule the next
two weeks Week ten versus Jacksonville, Week eleven at the
Tennessee Titans. That gets us to number four at Johann Dotson. Now,
this is a deeper league play only just because the
Eagles they really only throw the ball when they have

(28:34):
to and the target share has been low, but the
route participation and the average depth of target have been high,
averaging about eighteen and a half yards per target so
far this season, which means only got to hit on
one or two of these and maybe have them in
in the end zone for you to get a really
nice number. Next couple of weeks some desion matchups going
against the Packers and then week eleven at home against
the Lions.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Number three is Quinton Johnston. Now, granted he's.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Not very widely available on the waiver wire, but it's
worth getting him back in line after a little bit
of a slump. He's kept a strong a dot all season,
twelve point six air yards per target, touchdowns in two
of his last three games, and some really good matchups.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Week ten he's got the Steelers.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
And Week elevens on the road at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Speaking of the Jaguars at number two is Parker Washington. Now, yes,
they did add some help at wide receiver, but they're
still dealing with injuries to Travis Hunter. Brian Thomas Junior
left with an ankle injury last week. Washington himself ninety
percent round participation, nineteen targets over the past two weeks,

(29:32):
the Jags throwing the ball nearly sixty.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Percent of the time. Upcoming, maybe not the.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Greatest matchup against the Houston Texans, but opportunity should be
there in the Week eleven going against the La Chargers,
and at number one, go to the Big Apple and
find Darius Slayton. The last two weeks nearly twenty five
percent target sharing a fourteen yard average depth of target.
It's a pretty narrowly funneled passing game. It's mostly between
Wandale Robinson and Darius Slayton and the upcoming scale Week

(30:00):
ten going against the Chicago Bears in Chicago and in
week eleven taking on the Green Bay Packers. There you go,
my five wide receivers to stream in week ten and eleven.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Now time to get some cantharcists for Patrick. Yeah. Well,
you know what, Marcus. Every single week I lose in
fantasy football, and I've come through realization. I've started to
learn not just more about football, but about myself. And
as we turn the calendar to November, I've realized that
there are things that I could do to make my
fantasy football team a little bit better, and that's avoid

(30:30):
all of these players who are intentionally undermining me every
single week. By Jordan Love, Hey, congratulations, happy twenty seventh birthday.
You were the quarterback twenty four. Well you couldn't beat
out three more guys to be the quarterback twenty seven
to celebrate zero passing touchdowns. I find it odd, Jordan,
that you wait until I put you in the starting

(30:50):
lineup to throw zero touchdowns and a loss to the Panthers.
A loss. Oh, that's the thing we shall cont turned about. Yeah,
for me, not you. That's why I've lowed up social.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
I'm more than willing to let you cook.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
As you're sitting here talking about Jordan Love, who's playing
style I would equate to your friend's little brother who's
a button masher on Padden not.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Knowing what he's doing.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
Listen, man, like, sometimes it'll be it'll come through for
you. You don't even know how to stop that ground, but
ultimately it's gonna come back and bite you in the
keyster like it did on Sunday. Here's the thing, though, man,
and even I have to admit this, Jordan Love is
okay at football. Like, he's not the worst guy in
the league. You talked about Mike Glennon. He's definitely better

(31:41):
than Mike Lennon.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
I got you. I gotta give you that right there,
and honestly you even said it. Man.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
This was the first time all season he didn't have
a touchdown pass. So in a world where we're trying
to get over we're super morose. Jane Daniels is not
going to be available for us this week. We got
to go out there and make some other or to
strategic arrangement. So on this one, when it comes to
Jordan love as much as I would love for you
to cook, you gotta.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Chaprass sha Jordan. I'm sorry, it only makes sense. Every
once in a while you're not gonna score a whole
lot of Fantasy points, and every once in a while
you're gonna believe in a rookie. Every single week, this
is gonna be the week for Trevion Henderson. This is
gonna be the week for Trevion Henderson. Oh, no, Remondery, I.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Am sure that this was gonna be the.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Week for Tradeon Hederson and it wasn't. Torell Jennings is
going into the inZone and I'm looking up. Oh it's
a career HII twelve point seven fantasy points considering what
I invested in you, Trevion, you let me down, And so.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
This this is how I'm going man, see already, It's
all about your expectations. This is why people have been
so mad at this gram because like you put these
unheard of expectations, comparing them to some great player like
he would come out and compare a rookie do an

(33:00):
all time great like you would never do that. You
would nobody would ever do that on the show. But
here's the thing man. Even though this guy's out there,
he's not ripping it up like a season pro man.
He's not Kelly Slater, even Pat O'Connell. He's just slowly
but surely doing his thing. He's had ten plus touches
in back to back weeks. Fourth most Fantasy points are

(33:22):
these young guys, and like he's just going out there
and starting to slowly but surely gettings, getting his footing,
and it's like, you know what, before you know it,
this young grom is going to be old enough to
walk into Cassidy's and order his own burger, and you're.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Gonna be happy that you were there for the ride.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
So when it comes to my guy, Traveon Henderson, you
got cheap rout.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Okay, you're right with regards to the rookie, he's a rookie.
It's not like he's a second year player going out
I guess one of the worst fantasy defenses that I've
ever seen and getting it absolute Romo Doze, are you
doing everybody on the team eight? You're a quarterback who
throws you the ball as a receiving touchdown. Britton Brown,

(34:07):
whose name sounds like a dish that seasoned with the
spices of salt and pepper gets in the end zone.
We have to google that guy. Why are you doing
this to me?

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Rome?

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Why I'm salty thinking about it? Salts making me think
of Rome? Where the date the holders on?

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Man? Like, And it's not just you, Patrick, but like
it's fathers of some of these NFL players, Like you're like,
ayso dad's out there screaming that your kid's not getting
enough touches. It's like, bro, just go hand out orange
slices and chill for a second, because it's not your job.
It's up to the coaches to go out there and

(34:43):
do this. And I want to say, like, no matter
what anybody is saying about Roma Dunsay, this is a
quality dude. And if I can, Alex, if there's any
way can we show that Colston Lovelin touch out.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
I want to show you something right there.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Now watch this right there's Romadonsay at the top laying
a block for his dude. Man, he's not sitting there,
he's not pouting. And watch who the first guy is
who greets Colston Loveland. Oh my gosh, it's Roma Doonza
going out there and celebrating. So while you're angry. Maybe
members of his immediate family are angry. Roma Doonsay is

(35:22):
a quality, quality dude. And even though he had no
points in a game where forty seven we're scored, when
it comes to my guy, Roma Doonsay, you got.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Cheapra Absolutely, We've seen Rome playgrate and play these games
and all these guys. It's not Ashleley them trying to
undermine your fantasy roster. Keep the NFL in Breach stream

Time for us the crown the Cardio King of the
Week for Week nine and a historic moment in cardio history.
Congratulations to Romodunze, who traveled two thousand and nine yards

(36:19):
up and down the grass in Cincinnati on Sunday according
to the Next Gen Stats, all while not recording a
single catch or fantasy point. Rome joins Jake Kumero in
twenty eighteen and Jude Chessen in twenty seventeen as the
only receivers ever to do that much running.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
In a game.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
But he's the only one to put up a goose
egg in fantasy, a record that may never be broken.
There is no trophy, but Odoonze does get the reward
of heart health. Congratulations to romodones. So this is the
type of competition there after season low and total yards
traveled for with nine ZHO seven from qj Rome totaled

(36:58):
it up with two thousand nine yards. Far in a way,
if we're talking a midseason awards, this one may go
the entire regular season two thousand nine yards in zero
fantasy points. Not for more mid season fantasy awards, this
one may sing a little bit. It is the mid
season fantasy busts of the year. Adam Rink is still
in character. So who is your nominee?

Speaker 3 (37:20):
You guys are way too harsh to these guys, and
I did not feel.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Good about nominating.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
Derrick Henry, who is currently the RB nineteen on the season. Now, obviously,
these are the fewest fantasy points he's had since the
first eight games in twenty nineteen, fewest rushing attempts to
eight games since that same season, and I know this

(37:48):
guy was going off the board as you're RB five,
and I know who you're all gonna vote for. But
I'm here to tell you right now when it comes
to Derrick Henry Patrick, you got a chim bro.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Look. I think Derrick Henry is poised for a bounce back.
I'm not so sure about AJ Brown unless he joins
a new book club or has some more cryptic social
media messages to put out there. That's the guy that
was going off the board late first, early second round
wide receiver ten. Right now he's wide receiver thirty eight.
About sixty percent of his fantasy points have come in

(38:25):
just two games. He's got four games with fewer than
forty five receiving yards. The Eagles don't really seem all
that eager to press the issue when it comes to
the passing game.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
So unless he's gonna go out and complain publicly.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
Every single week, this may be your lot in life
with AJ Brown.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
This year, by nomine eight four Fantasy Busts of the
Year is going to be Nico Collins down in Houston.
They were signs of life for the Texans passing game
in the past a couple of weeks, but then you
look over and see CJ. Stroud out with concussion. Now
we've got Davis Mills playing, but they outlook would be

(39:00):
better considering we took him as the wide receiver seven
and he's been the wide receiver thirty five thus far.
So there's been some disappointing starts to the fantasy football season,
but time for the results. Who's the winner of the
Fantasy Bus of the Year who still has time to
turn it around? Narrowly edging out Nico Collins, it is
Arthur Joan Brown, Marcus, You've done it. You've gone two

(39:21):
for two on the day.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
I don't want to have to deliver this one to him.
I feel like this one won't be received well.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Pop saw those out there who are here most chilling
with Derrick Henry allowing him to go out and do
his thing. Been a tough go without Lamar Jackson of
that guy is going to.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Be just fine.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
We got more fun votes the mid season Waiver Wire,
Pickup and bounce Back Player of the Year. Go to
Twitter dot com at NFL Fantasy participate in your civic
duty of this show to vote for the mid season
players of the Year. Let's get rid of all the
stats that sound for no stats, just vibes. How are
we feeling the energy from the universe right now in

(40:00):
Week ten, Marcus.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
Well, I feel like these journeyman quarterbacks, these veteran guys,
they're gonna be the ones that save us when it
comes to fantasy. And not that you're necessarily starting Jacoby Brisseami.
We are starting Joe Flacco with the way he's played.
But more importantly, we were worried about t Higgins, We've
been worried about Marvin Harrison Junior.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
And I just love the.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
Fact that these quarterbacks come in here and they know
the assignment. We're gonna stand back there, we're gonna rip it.
We're gonna get the ball to our best players. That's
all we're really asking for. So Jacoby, Joe, thank you
for your service. We appreciate what you're doing for our
fantasy receivers.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Last week, the Panthers were huge underdogs at Green Bay,
which is and they ended up winning, which shows that
every time we think we have the NFL figured out,
we don't. And so this week, after the Bills just
beat the Kansas City Chiefs, I'm gonna say that Dolphins
will play their best team of the season and upset
the Bills.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
I just sent it in. I just sent it into
our department.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
So when you're watching the YouTube videos and you screen
grab it, and I'm sure the Bills social media team
will roast me next week, I don't care. I just
have a feeling the Dolphins are gonna win that game.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
I think there's one thing that we do know right.
Play on the offensive line is important, especially when the
tackles get hurt. Terren Steele leaves the game, he's trying
to play hurt. The backup comes in Kalais Campbell throws
him through the air and sacks Dak Prescott. Laramie Tutsel
being out was huge for the Commanders. Joe Alt and
Rashaan Slater are going to be trouble. Yeah, that's no
stash spouse for me. The tackle position is support also

(41:23):
important to win. Let's get that victory Tuesday. As we
celebrate what everybody accomplished, we will start.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
Can I say that Mark Depolo got his first win
of the season in our league of record.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
So congratulations, thanks Mark Paulo, Drake London for this one.
Sabriuo says, people are going to learn to respect him
the top five. Wow, I like that straw Man. People
do respect Drake London. I was told Steph Curry's not
a good shooter. What are we doing? It's like whether
or not Charlie Brown has access to the thing that
he allegedly does. And Nicole Calum and Nung Guy was awesome.

(41:55):
But McBride brought it home with the touchdown last Yes,
that was huge, lot lots of celebration.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
All we need is Jacoby Versett to play every week.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Against the Cowboys. Our gallon says that traded o'doonsay and
Chase Brown for Pooka before the game started and won
the matchup.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
Yeah, I think that pookin Akua as much as I
love Roma Dunes, I think pookin a. If we're doing
a rejaff right now, he stopped three receiver worse and
that was a good move.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Good up, great, get Pooking wherever you can. The garbage
tom pick game casey sideline, the win would have lost
by zero point four.

Speaker 4 (42:29):
Otherwise, Hey, garbyg's points still chunt. Even when it's an interception,
they still count.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
It's a cumulative game, and we got a cumulative week.
Here on NFL Fairs. And it wasn't Marco beat me,
was his brother Doug More. Mid Season Awards also Starts
and Sins with Michael Florio for Adam Rank and Marcus
ran On, Patrick claib on The Insiders. Coming up next
on a trade deadline day see tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
Wow, I'll count help, Bob, I'll count help Yah
