Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, Hey, everybody, welcome to the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
It's me your man, MG Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F.
Floyo and Lakwan Jones. We made it to another burg Fest.
First Birdfest. Let's go burg Fest on a Wednesday. We

(00:22):
can't call it Friday Junior Junior because that just seems
really weird.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I got attacked in the comments for that, by the way,
But that's cool.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
That's cool. That's never read the comments. That's the least.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
That's what I'm tapped into the fantasy streets I gotta do.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
That's that's not great.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Let's tune in because we are turning the page toward
Week three.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I got a whole lot to talk about on the show.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
We are looking at some of the marquee games heading
into this third week of the season. What do we
expect from some underperforming receivers in Miami, Philly and Chicago,
plus some guys who need to show something or are.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Headed to the fantasy bench.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
But before we get into any of that, let's start,
as we always do, with some fantasy headlines.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
The headlines, folks, are bleak.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
There's a lot of injuries, especially at the quarterback position
will start in New York. Justin Fields has been ruled
out as he is in concussion protocol for this week's
game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So I Rod Taylor
on deck for game green Soli Kwan with Ty God
at quarterback? Which Jets can we trust this week?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Ooh?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
I think brise Hall is a good play this week.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I do think that there's upsided in the passing game
for him because obviously when we look at week one,
how the Bucks were able to shut down Bijon on
the ground, but Bijon had one hundred receiving yards, and
I do think Nick Chubb his touchdown was kind of like, yeah,
go ahead, go ahead and score. The Bucks kind of
wanted that to happen. So fourth quarter Baker came back
and do what he did. But I do think that
on the ground it might be difficult for them. But

(01:45):
I do think that bris Hall has some upside in
the passing game. But Garret Wilson I don't feel great
about his floor. Like, I do think this is still
going to be a tough matchup for them. But if
I have better options than Garrett Wilson, then I would
be looking to put into Keenan Allen or something like that.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Upside to Garrett Wilson is just that there's really nobody
else to throw to.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
The boy's going to be there.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
But yeah, the quality of targets, we'll see how they is. Look,
Tyrod's good enough to go to keep this thing afloat.
He may not, you know, he may not pull you
to a win, but chances dart he's not gonna.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Implode the thing either. So there's that.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Over to Minnesota, Aaron Jones is going on injured reserves.
He's dealing with a hamstring injury that happened late during
the game last week. Look, Jordan Mason at this point
he is pretty much a must start, right, I mean
he was. He was sort of working his way there anyway.
But the Vikings are bringing in cam Akers to work
as the RB two. So I will ask you, Florio,
as long as Aaron Jones is on IR, is cam

(02:38):
Akers at least worth a roster spot.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I had a friend to the textman he was like,
is it cam Akers the one I should pick up?
Or is there someone else on the roster? And I
was like, well, at least you know who cam Akers is.
You don't know who the other people are. So yeah,
I don't think he's like a must pick up or
anything like that. But if you have a spot, if
you're in need of a running back, we see it
a lot, right where like the starter goes down and
the backup isn't the person that like the number two

(03:02):
or whatever. Isn't always the person because that player often
gets like time because special teams.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Or other usages like that.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Whereas I think Acres will come in and be a
back that they trust to give to it's his third
time with the.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Welcome back.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
What is it about cam Akers though? That teams they.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Kay swice.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
He's still explosive, man, I think the dude's still ball
at some point.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Like teams don't love him, but they can't they can't
move on from him.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Has cut him like eight times, like you know what.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Well, he was crashing now. I mean McVay wasn't going
to have that.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I mean it's just this weird relationships. Teams seem to
have love him.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Mann does he loves him when he needs him?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Just Koc is sitting like you up texts and stuff
like that.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Big head. Very weird.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
I'm speaking of the Minnesota Vikings, though JJ McCarthy dealing
with a high ankle spring and he's considered weak to week.
Carson Wentz expected to get the start for the Vikings
this week. So Lakwan, I asked you this about the Jets,
I'll ask you this about the Vikings. Who can you
trust in this Minnesota offense? I'm assuming Justin Jefferson, but
who else with Carson Wentz at quarterback.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
I think you still start your skill players if you
have Vikings. Even Jalen Naylor brings some flex appeal. I
do hope that Carson Wentz gets this KOC glow up,
But what if he does? You know That's where I'm
at with it. Where I can't sit Justin Jefferson. I
can't sit Hawk like I can't sit Jordan Mason either,
hoping that Carson Wentz will be able to drive down
field better than JJ McCarthy has these last couple of

(04:32):
weeks and kind of get that KOC glow up.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
So trust is a strong word.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
I'm just kind of hoping in pring that we get
some type of service will work out of Carson Wentz
because he hasn't played meaningful football since a week six
twenty twenty two, so big yikes.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
It's been a while since he's thrown a football in anger,
so we'll see what he's got this week. The good
news is the Bengals defense it's bad, so hopefully that
helps out a little bit.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
So we'll see how that goes.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I mean, while over to Washington, Jayden Daniels has suffered
a knee sprain right now. His status for Week three
is in doubt as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders.
I'm sure meanwhile, you have a little bit of sadness
in your heart, Florio, But if Daniels can't go, are
we fading all the commanders?

Speaker 5 (05:15):
I've said this in my heart, and am I starting lineup?
If I was reaching on a quarterback early, it was
Jade and Daniels if he sits, yeah, I mean I
already have Bill as they sit this week. I look,
I think McNichols brings like potential passing game usage, but
I'm not starting him without seeing it. Ertz I think
could potentially be in play just because tight end is

(05:38):
what it is right now. As much as it pains
me to say like Terry is someone I would consider sitting,
it would be very option dependent I wouldn't sit him
for just anyone, but yeah, there's a good chance that
he would find himself on fantasy bench.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
If he cannot go at being Daniels.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Marcus Mariota is the next one in line for the
commanders at quarterback. Don't trust him, don't start Marcus Mario Yoda.
That is I think one thing we can all sort
of agree.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
On here, right, Like, we're not starting if you're picking
him up off waivers and you gotta be down, especially
in week three.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Man, you're down bad? And what.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
For flex territory only not even man, I'm not I'm
rolling out. No, Marcus Mariota, what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Come on down bad? All right? Big?

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Els ahead to the start of Week three with Thursday
Night football, Miami Dolphins heading the Buffalo to take on
the Bills. Here the first touchdown odds. Weirdly, there's only
one Dolphin on there. I'm sure you do. James Cook
with the best odds at plus four twenty five, followed
closely by Josh Allen Smack damn the mill. There is
Devon a Chan, followed by Kean Coleman and Khalil Shakir.

(06:41):
So uh no, no, Tyreek Hill Wow, No, Jalen Waddle.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Look, I'm gonna ask.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I mean o'conna's Tyreek Hill still a must start in fantasy.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Yes, I mean when you drafted him, he was like
a wide receiver three or flex option. I don't think
there's any better options out there. But last week was encouraging. Guys,
Ron and Sam are back together.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
They're back together in houses, quiet, and it's normal.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Man.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
This is obviously going to be a proven game if
they can still keep that same energy. I do think
having the one hundred yards last week is encouraging to
put him into your starting lineup and get your expectations
in order. I mean, last time he was in Buffalo,
he had eighty catches for I mean four catches eighty yards,
so therefore that was twelve fantasy points. So it's like
you're getting him in your flex as your wide receiver three.

(07:28):
The last two times he was in Buffalo they kept
him out of the end zone. So it's more so
I'm putting him in hoping that him and Tua can
get stay on the same page.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
I would look, and his numbers against the Bills since
he's been in Miami have been just yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
But he's personally victimized them far too many times.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I mean, yeah, but he also had a different dude
thrown in the football whatever that happened. Speelers, I mean
that guy Toua has not been particularly great against the
Bills either. He's been awful, So that doesn't really make
me excited about their past catchers. But on the other side,
I mean, we saw the first touchdown odds for a
lot of these guys. Any potential sleepers, I mean, obviously

(08:05):
we're starting James Cook, You're starting Josh Allen.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Anybody kind of a little bit deeper.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
That I have ke On Coleman as they start this week.
I think he is the goal to end zone guy.
And I think this is a game where Josh Allen
is going to put up a lot of yards and
a lot of touchdowns. It's what he does historically against
this Dolphins defense and this Dolphins secondary. But I also
think don Kin Kid is a sleeper. I will want
to say Khalil Shakir, but the ball is just not
going his way enough right now.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
But don Kin Kid was the.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Top target in Week two. So if you're and tight
end is what it is, So if you need a
sleeper there. I think he's in play.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
I also have the sneaky feeling that they hit a
couple of big shots to Josh Palmer too.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
No, let us go to Keon.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
I'm fine with that.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
It's just that you Gloria. Then we're doing a segment
called Who Could Eat? And I got to the homework
late and Keon Coleman was already taken.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
So I do think Palmer sneaky.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I do like that call, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I think I think you can get a couple of
big shots down the field, which is really all you
need for a guy like Josh Palmer.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
So there you go.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Turning our attention to some of the bigger games in
Week three, none bigger on paper at least than the
Rams at Philadelphia to take on the Eagles and a
rematch of what was a really epic playoff game last year.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah, I love that. This is it not as based
question at all.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
No, we're not asking mcquana rams bas question.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
We're just not doing it because we need we need
him to give the people real information. Yes, so the
real question I'm going to ask you here is, and
I actually really do mean this, are we sticking with
the Eagles? Wide receivers because the first two weeks have
been kind of bleak.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
One last rode with AJ Brown and Devonte Smith, I
do think this is opportunity for Hurst to challenge our secondary. Now,
losing a Kello Witherspoon or CB one was heartbreaking to
me because started the season all put Nico Collins into clamps.
So I'm like, man, he played him very well in
the playoff game as well, But losing a Kello Witherspoon,
now we're inserting Darius Williams. Now, Darius Williams. AJ Brown

(09:54):
put up eighty six yards on four catches on his head,
So I do think there's upside for Darius Williams to
stay up as a Rams fan as I'm speaking right now,
But it's a J Brown for me, man, where I
feel like this is the bounce back week where he's
gonna have to be in starting lineups. There's no way
you're sitting AJ Brown. I can see the conversation of
sitting Devonte Smith if you have a better wide receiver
to or flex option. But AJ Brown He's in all

(10:16):
my starting lineups.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
I'm telling you right now. I think if the Eagles
were one and one, he's crashing out like he was
talking about the offense as it is right now, and
it's gonna take a game or a bad performance where
he's just he freaks out. He's gonna be reading on
the sideline again. We'll get all his targets.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Like better days are coming.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
I just you know, like week one he got one target,
Like it's gonna be better. Week too, he had eight
targets as great five catch us for twenty seven yards.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Throw him downfield a couple times a game.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
We're gonna challenge our secondary because Darius Williams was a
healthy scratch week one.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
He played well in week two.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
But you know what correction really is. I know we're
going along here, but you start flagging them being all
sides on the toush push, they'll throwing down.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I mean, really, the whole goal of the Philadelphia Eagles offenses,
let's just get nine yards so we can just push.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Our way away.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
It's the most annoying thing in the world.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Look, it's not illegal. I'm not saying that's why they
beat the Chiefs. I'm just saying it's not fun football
to watch, that's all. So don't come at me. Jordan
Oh to Steelers and the Patriots. Michael left Florio, choose
your fighter, Jalen Warren or Ramandre Stevenson.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
I'm gonna go with Jalen Warren.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
This doesn't have anything to do with another running back in.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Later, but I actually do really like Jalen Warren as well.
I have him as a start this week because we
saw him take over more of that the snaps and
the carries in.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
That Steelers backfield.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
What I really love is they're giving him the goal
on work and when they drafted the huge Caleb Johnson,
I was like, this guy's probably gonna get the goal
on work and instead he's like an other team score
their touchdowns. Look, we already know Jalen Warren's an effective receiver,
and I think that comes in hand this week. The
Patriots third most receiving yards to running backs, and it
could be higher because Devon Han cooked them last week.

(11:59):
He stepped out of bounds on what would have been
a huge go ahead touchdown long run. So I think
Jaylen Warren's got a couple of big plays in.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Him right now.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Caleb Johnson's droppable, Like I don't think toast there's no
reason to hold him on a ross I think he's
got what four offensive snaps.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I'm holding him in.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
A couple of deep leagues, giving him one more, hoping
that maybe this is the like, Hey, we're gonna give
you a confidence game and give you some touches.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Maybe.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
I mean, he's got four offensive snaps. I think he's
got what two carries or something like that. He's got
two carries from minus one yard. I believe the three
of us.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah, I was gonna say we have more yards to him.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah, yeah, and then you know, then you you mix
in that just heinous blunder on the kickoff return last week,
and it just it seems bleak for Caleb Johnson, right.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
I want to give him a little bit of a break.
Why is he your kick returning? And why does that
rule not ingrained in his He's a rookie. They have
different rules in college.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
I mean the old Arthur Smith. Let's go Arthur.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Smith, just tinkering with things and who knows what else.
Bronco's at the Chargers Big one in the AFC West,
and we played right next to where we are over
at Sofi Stadium. Lakwan's already shaking his head because he
sees the question on the rundown because asking him about
two guys that he really loved that have not been
playing up to expectations.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
So RJ.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Harvey or Omarion Hampton, which rookie running back has the
better day.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
I'm gonna go Hampton. The Chargers are home, and I
do feel like, you know, having r J. Harvey right now,
you can't really trust Sean Payton. I took the risk.
I knew it was going with Sean Payton and his
running backs. But I think Hampton he's actually getting the
opportunities the Chargers are putting him in position to put
fantasy points on the board. So I think Denver's still

(13:40):
trying to figure out how Danny Dimes cooked them. So
I do think that the Chargers are going to challenge them,
and I do think this is going to be a
game where Justin Herbert continues to shine a lot of
scoring opportunities and Hampton might fall in the end zone.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
Harvey, we still gotta wait.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Waiting those chances.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
But even the thing that if you have Omaron Hamdon
that should be worrisome is like week one, there was
very little Naji Harris because it was really his first
any kind of action. Last week, there was a little
bit more Naji Harris where I believe he and Hampton
had the same number of carries. I think Harris might
have had one or two more targets, but it was
that was pretty even as well. So like the role

(14:15):
for Najie Harris is growing, which would make me worried
if I have Omar and Hammon.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
The coaching staff told us this is what they wanted
to do.

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Like, I know it shouldn't be a surprise to most managers,
but it's like it's long as the Chargers are playing
good football, I'm always going to take that shot for
him the fall in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I mean, I'm with you on I think Hampton has
a better day than Harvey. But I would also worry
if I have Hampton that Naji Harris is coming. All
these running backs who start with H. We haven't even
talked about the dude in New England, and we're going
to do that right after a break when step away
for a second comeback with guys that we were giving
one more chance to turn around before we send them
to the bench. That's coming up next on the NFL

(14:53):
Fantasy Football Show, and then.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
T Week three.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
There are players probably on your roster that you drafted
highly expected things from and they have not produced the
way you anticipated. And like Christopher Wallace once said, give
me one more chance, guys.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
If we need to turn it around this week.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Otherwise we're not gonna drop them, but they're gonna go
to the bench if nothing else. So Lakwan, who's getting
one more chance for you this week?

Speaker 3 (15:20):
One more chance with TJ.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Hawk?

Speaker 4 (15:21):
And the last two weeks have been very frustrated as
a fantasy manager. JJ McCarthy not putting in the numbers
like Liam Cohen, you know, Trevor mid Lawrence. But I
do think that TJ. Hawk it's safe with me, just
based on he's doing his job. He's creating the separation
at three point seven target separation rate, which he's gaining
three and a half or more yards away from the defender.

(15:42):
It's just that the ball's not coming his way. He's
not gaining the trust with JJ McCarthy. And over the
summer we were hearing like the reports, like, hey, their
report is great, they're greating good connection. But man if
Carson Wentz cannot save my TJ. Hawk, I'm putting him
to the bench. And then I'm gonna have to start
Jawan Johnson. We're gonna have to start Hunter Henry or
zach Ertz because the last two weeks there's been a
lot of rise from the waiver wire, from these tight ends, man,

(16:05):
and I kind of just been throwing the blind eye
and still going out there and starting TJ.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Hawk. So one last time I might start Juwan Johnson.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
And like, I'm not hoping that Carson Wentz is gonna
be the guy that brings TEJ.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
I just feel like at some point there's going to
be a low for Juwan Johnson. I do think that
this week maybe like the last time I can trust
TJ Hawk because he has a veteran quarterback in there.
And again, what if Carson Wentz gets that koc glow up,
maybe you might see some good products.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Hey, maybe some throws go not to the right side
of the field. Right, concept, that'll be a concept for sure.
All right, Florie, let's let's let's just do this right.
Because you're you're on this train.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
I know Adam Rank is also sort of on this train,
and like, I don't hate it, I just need an explanation.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
As to why so traveon Henderson. I think that not
only am I giving him another chance, I think this
is the Oh. I got a lot of comments this
week like you're finally gonna have him as a right,
and I almost caved. And it was while I was
doing research on having him as they said that. I
was like, no way. The Steelers have allowed the most

(17:09):
explosive runs in the NFL two running backs, and you
look at what Zach Charbonney and Braylan Allen, the big
up the middle runners, power runners. They're averaging like one
yard per carry against the Steelers defense. They're big, they're physical,
the Steelers defense, that is, but they're slow, which is
why Bryce Hall has torched them. Kenneth Walker has torched them.

(17:31):
The most explosive runner on the Patriots is Trevion Henderson.
I think this is the week where he hits a
big play, maybe two, and once that happens, the floodgates
are open and there's no going back.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
All right, I'm on the train, you know what. I
buy that argument.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Yes, that's a sawn argument, you know, because it's nothing
about the usage suggested, But all right, I buy that. Weirdly,
all of our players have the initials THH in this segment.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Just now, what is that? You went t J Hawkinson,
you went Trevon Henderson.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I got Travis Hunter this week because we had allvious
the expectations for Travis Hunter. Liam Cohen of making such
a big deal about how he's primarily gonna be a
wide receiver. We've talked to Cam Wolf and he's really
reemphasized that they're gonna use h heavily on offense. That's great.
He needs targets, he needs quality targets. He needs downfield targets,

(18:24):
because so far, none of that has happened. His first
two games in the NFL have been decidedly underwhelming so far.
I don't think that it's all totally his fault. I
think a lot of it has to do with his quarterback.
What's his quarterback's name, Trevor mid Lawrence.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Yeah, that guy.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
I'm legally so far, nine catches for fifty five yards
for Travis Hunter. I need him to pick it up.
And like I said, I'm not putting the blame on Hunter.
I think he's doing the best he can with what
he has to work with. I need the Jaguars to
be more aggressive. I think this is a week potentially
to do it against the Houston Texas, but if it
doesn't happen this week, then I'm just gonna have to,

(19:01):
you know, find another option until I see more from
this Jacksonville passing.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
All up the forty nine ers and be like, when
you're done with Mac Jones, can we have him back?

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah, I'm to do this.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
If you have Brian Thomas Junior, you're sort of hoping something, yeah,
please for sure? So all right, just get back to
our game previews four. Week three, the Dallas Cowboys at
the Chicago Bears again, in which I really kind of
like both quarterbacks to have good games. I think I
think it's gonna be a back and forth contest. Laurier,
we saw a lot of Romo Dunesa.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Especially in week two. We haven't seen a lot of
DJ Moore. Will we get more and more this week?

Speaker 5 (19:39):
Nope. I'm firmly of the mindset that Roma Dunsay is
the wide receiver one now, and Adam Rank agrees. And
we know Adam Rank is very tied to the Bears,
but he is a Doonsay.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Twenty targets.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
DJ Moore has eleven, that's almost twice as many doing
the simple math. Right, All three end zone targets have
gone to Roma Dunsay by far.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
The most air yards are.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Going to Roman Dunezay.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
So yeah, I think there's a takeover here.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
And I was drafting Dj Moore because he just kept
falling in drafts. A lot of times I was getting
him as like a wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Three.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
I've sent a lot like aj Brown, Lad mccacky, Brian
Thomas Junior, pick your favorite by Loo. I'm trying to
package DJ Moore and another player to get those guys.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yeah, it's just it has not been particularly great for
DJ Moore. I know Rank was saying, if you listen
to Ben Johnson talk, there's been a lot of, you know,
frustration with some guys who haven't necessarily performed up to
snuff so far. DJ Moore seems to be one of
those guys on this list. We'll see if he can
get kickstarted this week against the Cowboys. What I think
is going to be a track meet between these two

(20:40):
teams Raiders at the Commanders, we already talked a little
bit about Jaden Daniels and his potential availability for this week.
On the other side, though, Lakwan Ashton Genty has not
gotten off to a good start, to the point that
Pete Carroll after the game on Monday night was saying,
we've got to do more to kind of get him involved.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
How worried are you about.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Him right now?

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I'm not more so worried about Genty himself because he's
a rookie. He's making the rookie errs. It's fine. This
is what we kind of should have expected because the
guy never played NFL football. But what's encouraging is that
Pete Carroll after the game saying nine to ten more carries.
But to get that, you need Geno to go out
there and not average three point four yards per play
and throw three picks. Like the passing game needs to

(21:21):
be on the balance of the run game as well
for Genty to go out there and thrive. But again,
you can't tell a fantasy manager right now to say Genty,
you just kind of have to just take that roller
coaster what it's going to be up and down all season.
And again you're gonna have to hope that this O
line progresses through the season. Because my boy only has
two yards before contact. That means that they are swarming
him soon.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
The balls in his chest and he's trying to burst
up field.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Is said, that's two yards total. I think it's total.

Speaker 3 (21:46):
I think it's zero point one yards per carry before.
It's disgusting. A that's gross.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
The thing that has worried me about him has shown up,
and that the offensive line is not good.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
The other thing is the Raiders are throwing the ball
a lot.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
You know, he's got seventy seven pass attempts in the
first two games, way more.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Than anybody would have expected at this point.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Saints at the Seahawks Oil. The Saints have been a
little bit feisty the first couple of weeks. Did we
underestimate them.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
Maybe in the fact that we could string defenses against them,
You know, like Alvii Kamara is not getting a ton
of targets. Olave has the fewest yards of anyone with
twenty targets. Second is Juwan Johnson. So like they're getting
targets and catches, but they're not really putting up a
lot of y'all.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah, I Spencer rather throwing the ball a lot, But
I've seen the Allai targets. They're not quality targets, at
least not so far. So we'll see it's.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Time to see who will deliver.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Presented by Uber Eats, we're giving you our top sleepers
for the week.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Start us off OLQ my snore lax is Tony Pollard. Man,
we got to put him back and yeah, man.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
I do think if you look at the last couple
of matchups that India has had, you look at Devon Chan,
you look at JK. Dobbins, they had solid running back
two performances. I think Tony Pollard the one thing that
you could strap yourself to. As he is the workhorse,
They're gonna keep handing him the rock when it comes
to fantasy opportunities. He's up there amongst the guys like
a brist Hall at Chuba Hubbard. He's going to get

(23:06):
the rock. There's nobody behind him that is going to
take that away. And I think he could put up
a solid RB two performs this week.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
He seems to be set of game script proof at
this point in the season.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Floya, Who's your sleeper?

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Pacheco for a number of reasons. One, he played sixty
percent of the snaps last week. He ran double the
amount of routes his Kareem hunt, he got more carries. Also,
the Eagles we know as a stout defense. The Chargers
are looking like a much more harder matchup than we
envisioned going into that game. They have had a lead
for three minutes all year, so I think gamescript will
be on his side. It's a great matchup against the Giants.

(23:37):
Plus he's going back home to Jersey. Andy Reid is coaches.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Care about stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
I think Pacheco will get a goal on touchdown this week,
and I think his better days are coming, not just
this week.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
I do think he's going to start the bounce back
this week. I also think game Script's not going to
be an issue for him, so you don't have to
so he'll get touches late in the ballgame. For me,
my sleeper this week is David and Joku right, And
I know the first couple of weeks Harold Fannin has
been a thing.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
We all know about that, and so if we know
about that, you don't think defensive coordinators are gonna know
about that. The other part is as good as the
Packer defense has been, they've given up some big games
to tight ends early this season. Both Sam Laporta and
Zach Ertz had double digit fantasy points against the Packers,
it's Nijoku playing more of the traditional tight end spot
where Fanin is kind of more of a big slot receiver.

(24:24):
So I think this week with especially, I think the
Browns once again will be in hurry up mode, trying
to throw the football late. We're gonna see ing Jok
who get a lot of targets and finally turn into
the guy that you were drafting kind of in the
middle to late rounds as kind of a value tight end.
That was Who will Deliver presented by Uber Eats, where
you can get the best deals on game day food

(24:46):
the NFL Order.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Now that is it. We are done.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
You know the drill.

Speaker 1 (24:53):

remember time is an illusion. Weekends doubly, so be safe
to care yourselves. We'll talk to you again real soon.
