Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hey, everybody, It's Monday, September twenty ninth, twenty twenty five.
Welcome to the NFL Fantasy Football Show. But we're not
making a scene, just shrugging our shoulders and getting on
our way. It's me and your man, nam G Marcus
Grand joined by Michael f.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Florio and Lakwan Jones.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Hopefully you guys aren't crashing out like a certain wide
receiver in Philadelphia seems to be. We will get to that.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
How are we feeling? How are we feeling on this Monday? Everybody?

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Hey, I'm feeling good. Well, Rams one, we got the
dub right, Bill's won, I mean, Marcus before.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Loss, what's your point, Duvo? They have the same, the same,
the exact same record as the Rams. What's your point?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (00:50):
Not this Thursday?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
This Thursday first, I don't know, could end up like
last night, like Sunday night where they placed to a
forty forty tie.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Boom.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
I know everybody was kind of booing it.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Honestly, like the way that game went a tie kind
of felt fitting, Like it just felt right.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I mean, Dak and Jordan were balling, like they were
just going back and forth and like that was actually
good to see.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
I watched fourteen and a half hours of football yesterday.
I wanted a more climatic and nothing else in sports
happened yesterday besides football, So I wanted to.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Finish nothing at all, nothing involving a baseball team from
Queens or one from Cincinnati.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
What's baseball? I don't know what this is.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
You turned the page already.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Oh man, Uh yeah, rough rough ending for the New
York Metropolitans.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
But I'm gotta say, like that game.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Less that it felt like it should have ended in time,
mostly because the Packers had some sort of brain freeze
on that last play where they're just letting the clock
run and somehow throwing throwing in completion with one second left,
Like what were they doing?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Jordan Will got bailed out. He did not deserve that.
On principle, the league should have stepped in and been like, no,
we're taking that one second off the clock, ye thirty seconds,
And the announcers like, are.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
They gonna spike it? No?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
No, no, they're gonna run a play, No no, They're just gonna
stand there and let the clock run out.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Like it was awful clock management.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Somebody pointed out that the Packers had first and ten
on I think the Cowboy twenty five with like a
minute fifteen left.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
And barely just barely got a field goal off to
tie the game.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
It's remarkable when you think about it, right, Like, these
are some of the best minds that this sport has
to offer.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
But routinely they get there. You know what, to play
a clock like? It is crazy.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
A big clock that is in the back of the
end zone that you can see or at the top
of the stadium.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Literally everybody in the building can see the car.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yes, what's happening?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Like is nobody in his ear?

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Like, yo, are Ricochet's up? They lose?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
They lose? Yeah, that's crazy. Just pulled it out. It
does go.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
I had a friend who once said that every NFL
team should employ like a college freshman who does nothing
but play Madden and use that person to inform them
on like game scenarios and clock management and what have you.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Madden players are ahead of the curve man.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
They tend to be.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
They always tend to be.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
We had a lot of stuff to dive into here.
As we wrap up Week four, I know there's still
two more games left to go.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
We previewed those last week, so.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
You can go back and go back to YouTube and
watch some of our video shows from last week for
the Monday night preview.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
But got a panic.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Meter guys that you know, I don't know what we're
doing with them right now. Is it a buy, is
it a sells that will hold? Is it just ay
give up all together? We're gonna give you some waiver
wire stuff plus some things. Maybe we wanted a do
over on this weekend, but I want to start with
some news and charting with some unfortunate news. Malik Neighbors

(04:03):
has torn as ACL. He is going to be out
for the remainder of the season. I think that was
the fear the moment we saw him go down in
that game against the Chargers on Sunday. Immediately was grabbing
his knee, and just the look on his face, the
reaction when he was put on the cart and taken
off the field suggested that he knew the worst probably

(04:24):
was coming. So no more Milite Neighbors for the remainder
of the season. We'll talk about Jackson Dart a little
bit later in the show and kind of get into
what this means for him. I guess in the short
term though, Floria, what does this mean for Wandale Robinson
And I guess if you had Molak neighbors, are you
looking to the Giants, Sue find a replacement?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Are you going somewhere else?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
This is the worst news that we could have had
and shut out to MetLife. You take another one.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I hope it's worth all those concerts you get.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
It's yearly, But Wandell, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I don't know if this like like he's gonna get volume,
but I still think he is going to be more
floor than upside. And even like yesterday, five targets, three catches,
fourteen yards, his.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Floor is very low and we've.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Seen the ceiling be high in that one game against
the Cowboys, and I was hopeful that it was going
to get more downfield usage for him and stuff, and
he kind of reverted back to what he always has been.
So I think there's potential there because of the volume
he could see and because he's shown us he could
win downfield. But I don't think this is like a
guy that you're like clearing space to try to force

(05:33):
into your lineup or anything like that. And ideally I
want to look outside of the Giants room. But I
do think Darius Slayton deserves some love right now, and
he's on the waiver list this week. He led the
Giants with forty four receiving yards, which doesn't sound like
a lot, but it was more than double anyone else
on the team. And we saw last season when Malik
Nighbors missed the two games because of concussions, Slayton got

(05:57):
a lot more volume and he was being used downfield
a lot as well. So I think both Robinson and
Slayton should be on rosters after waivers run this week.
But again, they're both kind of more like wait and
see options plug in if you need a bye week
replacement or an injury replacement. They're far from guys that
you're like, you need to get into your lineup.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, and again we'll.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Dive more into Jackson Dart and that's going to obviously
impact the wide receivers. The wide receivers will impact Jackson Dart.
It's a whole weird symbiosis thing.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
That's how football works. Yeah, and I think what you
saw from Dart was interesting, But.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
I don't know if he's a guy to kind of
lift this offense without Moleague neighbors being there, but we
can talk about that.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I think I'm in on Jackson, Dart.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
I'm just putting that out there.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Now, all right, all right, little teasing for later in
the show, so stick around for that. In Baltimore, things
are not good for the Baltimore Ravens. They were absolutely
hammered by the Chiefs on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes and that
Chiefs offense looked like it's getting to be scary again.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Meanwhile, on the other.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Side of things, Lamar Jackson ended up leaving that game
in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. Now we
will wait during the week to see the severity.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Of it and how it might impact him.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
But you know, Lakwan, if we're gaming this out and
looking like Lamar can't go, are any of those Ravens
pass catchers startable?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
If it ends up being Cooper Rush at quarterback.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I'm a little bit nervous, Like I'm really nervous for
Za Flowers because like when you look at Lamar Jackson
leading the league and yards and attempt this is where
you get the chunk yards from Za Flowers and throwing
in Cooper Rush. I don't know if we get that
same energy. I don't know if we get the same
downfill throws. I don't know if Zay's going to be
able to eat the way he's been eating these last
couple of weeks. I do like Mark Andrews. I mean,

(07:46):
obviously the last two weeks, he must have been tapped
into the fantasy streets to hears putting dirt on his name,
because that boy came in the first two weeks with
seven receiving yards. Now back to back weeks, this guy
is looking like he is top tier, like he is
going to be leading the pack for those Ravens. So
I do think think that he becomes a security blanket.
I do think that he may be available in some
waiver wires because some folks jump ship after week two.

(08:06):
So I know that Mark Andrews brings like a safe
security blanket to Cooper Rush being that again, we're not
going to get the same type of offense that we're
gonna get and expect from Lamar Jackson. So I do
think I'm a little worried about Zay Flywers because he's
been balling this season to where like he's averaging seventy
six receiving yards per game, right now this is a
guy that lives and breezes off of chunk yards. I

(08:26):
don't know if we get the same explosive plays from
him though.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, this passing game feels like it is really built
around Lamar Jackson. That's not really a news flash. But
I don't think the Cooper Rush is the guy to
come in and suddenly just kind.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Of keep this thing rolled.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
This isn't like, you know, Carson Wentz stepping in for
JJ McCarthy, which is a sentence I didn't think I
was going to say this year.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
I don't think we should panic just yet. I think
we need to hear a report.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
On this.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
I'll take a bang up Lamar. I'll take a non
mobile Lamar. It was a little bit of a People
were questioning his exit. I'll say that, oh, this guy's
dipping into There was a lot of people on Red Zone,
on on broadcasts on everything being like, is this because
of the score or right?

Speaker 5 (09:16):
It was?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I know, I think that was sort of the because
I think when he first left the game, and I
was watching Red Zone when it happened, and Scott Hansen
started talking about it, like Lamar left the game and
it was a few minutes before we got the report
that it was a hamstring issue, because all of a sudden,
you see Lamar on the sideline. He's looking upset Cooper
rushes in the game. The Ravens are getting thumped. That

(09:39):
was kind of the assumption was just like, wait, are
they Are they just waving the white flag?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Are they pulling the markets?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Especially it was it was late third quarter, right, I mean,
the idea of them coming back at that point was difficult,
but not impossible. So it was a little bit of
a surprise when you see Lamar on the sideline. And
then after several minutes it was Tracy Wolfson on DBS
who reported that it was a hamstring issue and that's
why Lamar was on the bench. But yeah, no, I

(10:05):
think a lot of people were like, what the hell's happening.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
I'm not saying he faked it, but I'm thinking, like,
if it's a close game, it might not be bad
enough where he has to miss time. It might be
a precautionary all Right, we're down multiple scores, you're tweaked
to Hammy, Let's get you out of here and protect
you for the long term.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Sure, And I think that that's the hope right, is
that this is not serious. It was just like, you
know what, just better safe than sorry situation. But you know,
we got to we have to do something to have
a conversation. So you know, I think I think ideally
we get reports on like Wednesday, Thursday saying it's fine
even if Lamar.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Is limited practice, just if he is practicing rams in
two weeks, is that game? Is that game in Baltimore
at so fine?

Speaker 3 (10:50):
I think it's in Baltimore?

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I think we have a back to back this week
of home games.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
I'll check hold up.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
But yeah, that that should actually make you That should
be interesting in a couple of weeks. But obviously a
lot of things to talk about before we.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Get to that.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yeah, we're talking about how pancked we are maybe about
the Ravens pass catchers if Lebar can't go. How panicked
are we about the running back who stands there next
to Lamar? As well, we're gonna give you our.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Feelings in the form of the panic mata that's.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Coming up after a quick break here on the NFL
Fantasy Football Podcast. So here we are. We're four weeks
into the season. I know we did a kind of
a one last chance thing. We've done bounce back players.
Now it's time to just look at guys where okay,
it's it hasn't happened or things are going south. And

(11:38):
our level of panic towards some of these guys. Are
you trying to, you know, maybe buy low on them,
Are you trying to just just move them off your roster?
Are you cutting them? Just where are your feelings on
a handful of these guys? So Floyda, I will start
with you with Calvin Ridley. Look, we like elic Io matter,
but we also know that the ceiling is really limited

(12:00):
on him. I mean, Ridley's supposed to be the guy
leading this offense.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
It has been bad to the point that I'm how
do I say this? Kim mood has downgraded them from mid.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
To but I was wondering how you're going to deliver that.
Cam Moore's basically admitting that this offense is not very good.
Calvin Ridley has been a no show for most of
the season. Your level of panic on Calvin Ridley right now.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
It couldn't be higher, Like I alarmed, Like there's no
way you could ever start Calvin Ridley right now. I
don't think I think we're quickly getting to the point
where you might not be able to start a single Titan.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
That is how bad this team is right now.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
And I'll go as far as saying I think cam
Ward is the best one out there. Weekend and week
out for the Titans, drops have been an issue. They're
giving up pressure and sacks at the second highest rate
in the NFL. So far.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
It's been bad.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
But it got even worse this week for Calvin Ridley
because he was fifth in routes ran and fourth amongst
wide receivers on his own team and snaps. So you
can't score points if you're not out there. And it's
like all right, when it was like him and Elick
ioman Er and Iomanner got a couple more targets, it's like,
all right, cool, like that's in the game flow or whatever.
But they're using Tyler Lockett over him. They're using like

(13:22):
Tony Pollard ran more routes than him this week, A
conco ran more routes than him this week. Van Jefferson
didn't run more routes, but I believe played more snaps,
And like it's just unusable for fantasy right now. Even
Tony Pollard right, like getting a lot of volume there.
It hasn't led to anything good in fantasy because he's
getting no room to run. Like I'm at the point
right now and I have ridlely on a number of teams.

(13:43):
I've already been benching him for weeks, getting close to
dropping him, and I just want no part outside of
the defense that is facing the Titans that week.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
I want no part.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
There was some you know, on Sunday nights, I go
back and try to watch games that maybe I didn't
get to focus on or didn't get to see you
a whole lot, And so I.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Watched Commanders Falcons. Then I'm like, do I stay up
and watch Texans? No, I can't. I'm like, it's late,
I'm already tired.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
That would have put you to sleep.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Outen up on the couch like mouths is just open,
just sleeping like that.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I was like, I don't. I don't need that right now.
So I waited.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
So I got a good night's sleep, and maybe today
I will try to brave Texans Titans.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
I saw something that was like CJ shot out his
best game in like over a year.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
It was two hundred and thirty three yards and two touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Jeez, it's not Texas look awful.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
They don't one Woody marks.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Texans Titans because the schedule makers said so. The good
news is we get that game again later on in
the year too, so in case you missed it this time,
you can catch it later in the season.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Mentioned Baltimore and how things are not going well. The
Ravens are one and three.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
I don't think anybody had that on their scorecard for
this point of this season. It's been a rough go
for Derrick Henry.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
The fumbles have been sort of the low light of
it all.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
You know, we had the temper tantrum on the sideline
a couple of weeks ago, then this week, Lakwan, we
just didn't see nearly as much of Derrick Henry. We
saw a lot of Justice Hill. Granted a lot of
it came when the game was sort of out of
hand at that point. But your level of panic through
four weeks, I mean it's I know it's not Calvin

(15:23):
Ridley level of panic, but your level of panic over
Derrick Henry from what we've seen in the last two
or three weeks, I.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Would say five out of ten. So, like I'm right
in the middle, like obviously with Lamar injury, that's gonna
play a factor, and like how high this rises. But
I do think that Derrick Henry he's still getting a
rock man. I mean, look, he's top three right now
when it comes to the yards per carry, he's top
seven when it comes to rushing yards. These are all
the things that we want from Derrick Henry, but not
seeing him out here on the field when they're needed.

(15:50):
But it's Spags defense as well, Like we already know
the Chiefs are gonna shut down the run. But moving forward,
like once we get into the middle of the season,
later in the season, we'll look back at this like
that was a patch of Derrick Henry. So I'm not
panicking just yet. Like the fumbles are concerning in a
sense of like why is this happening? Like I do
lose points off that, and you know I don't like fumbles.
We already know Captain Fumble he pulled one off yesterday,

(16:14):
but I was saving for another show.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
I'm gonna say that one wasn't on it, Like the
offensive line just no, just let dudes through.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
I mean, no, you do not.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
And it sucks that it was him, but that will
say that for another We'll save that for another segment.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
But anyway, by the way, if you guys we were
talking about Kyon Williams for those of you who don't
who don't.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Know, you averaged six yards per carry.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Hold on.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
He dropped the ball at the wrong time, crucial. We've
talked about this. It's not about the act of it,
it's when it happens, and that could have cost us.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
That's purely from a Rams fan, not a fantasy take.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Anyway, my level of concern for Derrick Henry is not
that high. Like I'm really chilling, Like I'm looking at
him on my rosters. He's staying put as a starter.
I'm not thinking about we're flirting with the idea benching him. No,
I'm kind of staying cool, calm and collected. He's still
going to be able to run the rock at an
efficient and high level once he gets better matchups. I
just think that this Chiefs matchup was just a tough one.
We know Spags's defense. You do not run the ball

(17:17):
against him, and they're going to keep that same energy.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Also, you know, for what it's worth, the Ravens schedule
has been incredibly front loaded, yeah, you know they started
with they started with the Bills. They go see the Browns,
who you know, maybe aren't great offensively, but we know
they're very good defensively. Then they follow it up with
the Lions and the Chiefs and absolutely just dreadful schedule.

(17:42):
And look, next week is the Texans, who I know
they can't score, but again defensively, not a bad team.
Then ain't the Rams heading into the bye weeks? So
the schedule makers did the Ravens no favors with how
they frontloaded this thing, without a doubt.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
So I think Henry's a great by low right now.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
People might be like he's old, he's not producing, but
those three of the best run defenses in the NFL.
We saw what he could do against week run defenses
in week one.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Yeah, especially if I'm rolling out a Traveon Henderson right now.
And this is no shade Florio because I am one
of the hype man as well, but like I can
buy low on a Derrick Henry and to add that
to my roster, that will definitely help my roster when
it comes to my running.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Back deb Oh, without a doubt, without a doubt for sure.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
So I'm glad I'm asking you this question, Florio, because uh,
Lakwan with terror hamstring taking a victory lap right now.
Lad McConkie, I have gotten, you know, social media posts
asks asking me why the Chargers hate Lad McConkie, And
I'm like, I don't think they hate Ladd mcconkeye. They
just really like Keenan Allen and Quinton Johnston. So at

(18:48):
this point, what is your panic level, Florio?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
On Lad?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
It's high. I will take the Lad l but it's
not for the reason any of us thought right like
we're seeing two wide receivers could thrive in Quintin Johnson
is the reason.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
It's not working out. It's it's like he is their alpha.
He is their one. He leads this.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Team in target share, he leads this team in air
yard share. Uh, He's heavily utilized in the end zone.
Every deep shot seemingly is going his way. So that
is the usage that I was thinking was gonna go
Lad's way, Like we knew Keenan would get, like some
of the short catch and run targets. Now it's Keenan
and Ladd fighting for those. And they even threw some

(19:29):
of Quinton Johnson yesterday. I hate the way they're using
Lad because they're giving him targets. But I like, I'm
I rewatched that game last night and everything is short
and quick, and he had he had a couple of
drops like that's on him. That's not gonna build you
trust with your quarterback. But he I don't, I don't,

(19:51):
just do not like the way he's being used at all.
They're not giving him anything downfield in the red zone.
It's it's Keenan and Quinton Johnson. But and I'm I
was talking with Patrick Clayban about this the other day.
Defenses are going to have to adjust now, right Like,
you're not going to continue to be able to give
Quentin Johnson just one on one coverage downfield because he's
going to continue to cook. So if that happens, that

(20:13):
is my hope for Lad. I look, he's not going
to return second round value, but I still do think
you can go out and you could acquire him for cheap.
Right now, I think he's going to have much better
days ahead. It's been a really rough month, probably more
in that Water's ether two three range, but yeah, it's
it's the usage more than anything right now. That's that's Draggon,

(20:34):
Ladd down.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Well and then on top of it, the rise of
Horonde gadst in the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
You know, we saw two weeks ago he.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Had seven targets, had three targets.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Yesterday, Yeah, he did an yesterday. Gaston's not gonna be
the guy that like it's.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
An entity that is hurting Lad. That's all it is,
because he ran half the routes, ended up with more
catches in yards than Ladd McConkey. It's just one of
those things, like it's just it's difficult to look at
well that had drops like that's on Lad, but like
he's getting the opportunity.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Right, Like Gadson's a guy that at best is a
streamer when the matchup is right. But to Laqwan's point,
he's another guy to take targets away. But I'm with
you that I think Lad's sort of a by low
just because a lot of people are going to be like,
you know, WTF, what's going on? Gotta be frustrated, and
you know, maybe they're willing to sort of make an

(21:27):
offer at relatively cheap.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
The other thing here right now too, is this Chargers
O line is banged up bad, So that might have
to change and we might start getting a little bit
more short, quick stuff, which maybe gets Lad going.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, losing Joe Alt.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
They're saying reports are it's not expected to be serious, hopefully,
but that's still a big blow to that offensive line
for sure. David and Joku speaking of people who exist
to take targets, Harold Fannon is a thing in Cleveland,
and David and Joku has not been a thing in Cleveland.
I I mean Lakwan and Djoko was a guy we

(22:04):
were drafting probably in the middle to late rounds. Fannin
was not. How panicked are you about the chief right now?

Speaker 3 (22:12):
I'm a little bit pandied because Harrol Fannon is playing
freaking good. I mean to be blunt, I mean like
he's playing literally split production with David n Djoko and
David the Jok is a well established tight end one
And it doesn't also help with Joe Flackle not playing
great football right now, but at least with Harold Fannin,
like it seems like his targets are more valuable, Like
he's getting targeted on twenty two percent in his routes

(22:32):
versus Daven the Jok, who's sixteen percent. So it's like
he's going out there and he's part of the design
of the offense to move forward, where Davin the Joker
is just out there kind of just lollygag and running
routes and just like, oh, if I'm open, throw it
to me. But he's not even creating the separation. That's
the more frustrating part about it. So it's like it
looks like Harrol Fannon is going to be a thing
for the rest of the season. So David the Djoko

(22:53):
to me drops down to like a low wind tight
end too, to where like each week I'm going to
be very very like cautious of putting him in starting life,
like I can even see myself of there may be
another wave of tight ends jumping off the waiver wire
and damn the joke, who might be the one I
have to cut just to get more security at the
position because Harold fanus not going anywhere, you know, knock
on wood, he doesn't get injured because at the end

(23:14):
of the day, he just looks like the better product
for the Browns offense.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
There's also chatter about the Browns quarterback situation, right how
much longer does Joe Flacco hold on to that job.
Do we see Dylan Gabriel, Do we see Shoulder Sanders.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
For the other guy or the other guy?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Jay Pickett and Jameis Winston should start a support group,
right just like, hey man, we're here.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
We've been in this league.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
How come the way he's like mentioning us like the
old guy or the young guys, and we're just sort
of stuck.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
I would rather see Kenny Pickett go out there, though,
than Joe Flacker right now. I mean, let's swap the
Jersey folks, the hometown heroes. Let's put in Kenny Pickett
and get connected with David the Joker. I wouldn't mind
seeing that, all right.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
I mean I was sort of my question, like if
Flacco leaves is like good or bad for Joku.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
So it's probably good. It's probably good. Cards to think
it gets worse.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
I think they turned to the kids and who knows, right, Yeah,
I was. Ian was reported over the weekend like teams
are calling the Giants about Russ. I'm like, you're calling
about the wrong quarterback rights.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
Oh my god, free Jamis Man, Free Jamis Bengals, get
on the phone.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Jamis throwing yellow balls to Jamar Chase like I'm here
for this. You get two.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
Thousand yards and half a season.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Come back clarity year, Let's go one last one.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
A J. Brown H Yeah, I started the show. Well,
you know I'm not going to make a scene. I'm
just gonna shrug my shoulders and be on my way.
Was the cryptic social media post from one Arthur Juan
Brown after the Eagles game on Sunday. And so far,
aside from the one game and really one half if
you will against the Rams, A J. Brown is really

(25:01):
been a non factor in the offense on Sunday. Nine targets,
two catches, seven yards. I'm I mean, lakwan, do you
want to start? How panicked are we about AJ Brown?

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Right now?

Speaker 3 (25:15):
I'm on the halfway mark. But I actually had a
friend of mine in my league, a really good friend
of mine from back home, actually text me last night like, hey,
you giving up on AJ Brown? And I was like
maybe because he's crashing out on the internet right now.
I don't know what can happen next, but my buddy
seems to be, you know, thinking that I don't pay
attention to the fantasy streets, are no values of players?
Because he was like, oh, I'm willing to pay high

(25:37):
for him, man, I'm gonna give you all all you want, man.
And as you can see, I sent you guys to trade.
It was Tony Pollard an Exavier League get for aj
Brown and Brandon Iu. Folks, Am I tripping? Like should
I just like cut ties with him, block him to
never ever let him text me again about a trade
like this? Like I'm not panicking that deep.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
You know, there are you know, like we all have
ends that like we get along in so many areas,
but there's just like one or two things that we
just can't talk about. And it appears that you cannot
talk fantasy football trades with this friend.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yeah, I can talk about I guess whatever else, just
not that.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Yeah, I wanted to block him as soon as I
seen that trade come through. I didn't even counter because
I was like, you're not going to be serious with this,
Like it's disgusting, Like, no, absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
I don't think I would accept those two guys for
just Ayuk alone.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Look, Xaberly gets a print of the show, but he's
rostered in less than twenty percent of the least. He's
a waiver wire ad right now, why would you add
him in the package and thinking like, oh, yeah, there's
a sweeten to do.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
Man.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah, it's it's also been a rough start for le
Get this year, so yeah, that's that's rough.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Where are you on the panic meter, Floria with AJ Brown?

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Uh, I'm getting a little worried. I went back and
watched all nine of his targets from this week. One
of his catches was a screen that got blown up,
the other was for like nine yards, and then everything
else like so it's twofold for one AJ Brown. It's
not like he's blowing past his defenders like a lot

(27:07):
of his targets, the guy is right on.

Speaker 5 (27:10):
Top of him.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
So that's not ideal because remember before the season he
had a hamstring. But also on those deep targets, they're
absolutely non competitive throats. They're sailing out of bounds. AJ
Brown is like huffing and puffing before the ball even
gets there. One he tried to like Odell catch it
because they're just non competitive throws. I understand why he

(27:31):
is angry, But at the same time, he had a
thirty eight percent target share and seventy three percent of
the Eagles air yards yesterday, like they were trying to
get you the ball. You and Hurts got to get
back on the same page. I don't know what has
to happen for that to happen, but I'll say this,
If AJ Brown is crashing out, what do you think

(27:52):
DeVonta Smith is feeling today because he's.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Not even getting opportunities.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
So like, at least with AJ Brown, they're trying to
get him the ball, and next week they get Denver.
I think it's a good chance to try to buy
low if you believe on AJ and A J. Brown,
because three of the four weeks have been bad. Hard
matchup next week. I have a feeling people are gonna
tell you to sit him.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
I'm gonna tell you to start him. But squeaky wheel.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
Games ten are a real thing in the NFL, and
I think the Eagles know because look they're four no
and I know like people like Kyle Bran on Good
Morning Football Today was saying, I don't care about how
it looks when you win, Like is that so like
you have nothing going through the passing games, Saquon hasn't
looked like Saquon. The Eagles offense is broken right now

(28:35):
and there's far too much talent for us to have
to sit here and say that.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
So I was saying they were overrated last week, and
you guys are saying, oh, you're saying good team. No
they're not. And I'm gonna stand on them. They are
not a good football team.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Champ, the Chiefs and the Bucks probably three division winners.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Right.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
The bus was a spanking. I did not I did
go that way, but Mike Evans was hurt.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
The Eagles remind me a lot of the Chiefs from
last year, right, like where their defense is carrying them.
But the difference is the Chiefs last year were missing
everyone on offense. The Eagles guys are all out there.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
So I'm hopeful that it turns around.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
But there's it's not an easy fix, you know, Like
I can't sit here and be like all they need
to do is do this, like I have no idea
what it is, but they need to get back on
the same page and quick.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Well, I mean, the fact is they want to be
kind of a short yardage offense, right, I mean I
joked about building the whole plane out of the tush push.
But they know that in short yardage situations they have
a play that is damn near unstoppable, and so.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
They even faked it and gave it to Saquon.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Why yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Now they've actually started building different options off of it, right,
I mean, like, you know, whether it's a little shovel
past the Dallas Goddard, it's a pitch to Saquon, they
have different options of what to do off.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Of the tush push.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
But basically the whole philosophy is, let's try to get
like seven yards on first down, right, and then you know,
if we can get it to second and one or
third and one, third and two, you.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Know what's coming.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
And so like it's not exciting, but it's also not
an offense that is conducive to getting aj Brown downfield
or DeVonta Smith downfield. And so I'm I am a
little bit panicked about this because I think we're gonna
see a lot more games where it is just a
handful of targets and unless Brown or Smith catches a
lot of them, maybe breaks a couple of tackles and

(30:33):
gets yards after the catch, there just aren't gonna be
a lot of chunk.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Plays in this passing game.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
So maybe next week it is a squeaky wheel game
a little bit. But I think the frustration is going
to be there. I'm also gonna tell you, though, if
there's a chance to sort of buy low, if there's
somebody that's frustrated or is panicked, I say make the move, because.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
You know, not Tony Poll and Xavierly get low.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Not for that though, that's not gonna get it.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
One thing about the Eagles, and we could say, like, yeah,
it's working, it's working. The Bucks had the ball with
a chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. Yes,
like it, they had zero pass Like it's it's a
recipe that's working now, but is it going to work
all year? Like I have big questions and night it's

(31:17):
it's I was like this.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
I think for most people you know who talk about
the Eagles and complain about.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
The Eagles, it's not that it's not effective. Everybody gets
that it's effective. I think for a lot of us,
we watch football to be entertained, and this office is
not entertaining.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Also, like they should have lost last week. If they
don't block that field goal, they lose.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
So like thanks for bringing it back up, Buddy juggernodding
their way to four and.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Oh thanks buddy, I appreciate well, A J.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Brown's on the crash out, A lot of fantasy managers
probably crashing out with him, So this is time maybe
to take advantage of see if you can snag him
in a trade.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Quick deal with the Rookie Report.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
A few names of interest here, Jackson Dart one hundred
and eleven pastyards in a touchdown, fifty four in a touchdown,
nearly twenty fantasy points, Florida.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
You say you are all in on Jackson Dart if.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
He's out there and your waivers at him, I like,
it might not always be pretty, but he can run.
Not only did he put up twenty fantasy points, he
had a forty yard run call back due to penalties
as well. He's running in the red zone a lot
like and they didn't really ask him to air the
ball out much yesterday because they had a lead throughout.
When is that going to be the case with the Giants?

(32:27):
So I think like his rushing numbers are going to
make him a fantasy relevant option, and if he has
to start airing it out, we know he's got that arm. Obviously,
we wish Malik Neighbors was there, but even without him, like,
I don't think he's a mustard every single week. But
I think he has enough upside where you if you
don't have like a Josh Allen or Lamar, if you've

(32:48):
been streaming quarterbacks or whatever the case may be, he
brings enough upside that I think you want him.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yeah, it's that rushing part of it too, I think,
especially because I think the passing ceiling is going to
have a cap on it. But if he's running, you know,
could be sort of Drake May all over again, like
from last year.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
I think a little bit uh the guy on the
other side.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
In that game against the Chargers, Omar and Hampton his
first chance as the true RB one in LA one
hundred and twenty eight rushing yards in a touchdown, a
long touchdown run, five catches for thirty seven yards twenty
seven and a half Fantasy points. Early in this game, though,
I know, I texted you guys, like, please convince me
that Amrio and Hampton is good because every time I
every time I looked up can get the ball.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
He was just running into the line. He was getting
two yards.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
A pop, and I'm like this, this looks awful.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Then all of a sudden, he.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Popped a couple of big ones, and I was like, okay,
I'll shut up now, okay, urgy must is he a
must start at this point?

Speaker 5 (33:39):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
I mean I liked everything I saw. I mean the
first half was a little concerning in his touches because
it wasn't much. It wasn't anything there. So I think
that's when that text you said. And then halftime he
must have saw you tweeting or some them or put
it on. You must have set it outside the group chat,
so where he turned up. And I like everything I
have seen from him since the little Neil sprinkle that
we saw him in week one, one in two and

(34:00):
obviously when Naji goes down, he is now the front man.
He is an RB one for me in a lot
of rosters where it's like, I don't need the question
ever again if I'm going to start him, because obviously
the identity of this offense is going to be running
through the three wide receivers in a sprinkle of Amaron
Hampton as well as a pass catcher, because I do
appreciate some of the targets that he's seeing. And I

(34:20):
said it, you know, before preseason started, I was like
this guy, I pro comped him to Brock Lesner. He
is a freak athlete, Like that is exactly what you're
seeing on the field. He's jumping over guys, going through
guys and joking guys. He's leaving folks just like I
can't stop this guy, like ninety yards after contact yesterday,
Like that's insane that he is going to do this

(34:41):
as a rookie and only a cent higher as we get,
you know, the years come on.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
I thought that your pro com for him was brock Lesner.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
Yes, freaking Brock, Like brock Lesner can do a shooting
star press a failed NFL prospect. Hey, yes, he announces
that he acknowledges that failed two teams Vikings Falcons, I believe.
But man, yeah, he's one of those athletes say like
he's big for his size, but he's able to be elusive.
He's able to go over you, through you, or whatever

(35:09):
the case may be. So I do think that for
now on we don't need to question his title. He
is a RB one, all right.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Cool.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Trevion Henderson got his first career NFL touchdown on Sunday,
thirty two rushing yards, two catches for seventeen yards, a
sort of twelve point six Fantasy points for the day Florida.
We were all sort of hoping that after Stevenson and
Gibson had fumble problems last week, we'd see more traveon Henderson.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
That wasn't really the case.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
If you've got him by sell hold, I mean, how
are you approaching him at this point.

Speaker 5 (35:41):
I'm definitely not selling because I think.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Like you're selling at a I wouldn't say it's the
low point because that was probably like two weeks ago,
but you're still leaving a lot of value on the table.
Like in fact, I'm gonna try to buy him in
a couple of leagues this week. I'm not being in
a homer. They play the Bills this week. The Bills
cannot stop the run to save their life, like Alvin Kamara.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
And Spencer Raller was running all over them this week
and specifically for years now.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
Speed is what kills this Bills defense, and he is
their fastest runner. So I have both Stevenson and Henderson.
I'm going to write them up as starts this week
for Stardom Sidham because of the matchup, and I also
think it was encouraging that we are starting to we
haven't fully seen Antonio Gibson go away. But we saw
less Antonio Gibson this week and we saw more Trevion Henderson,

(36:33):
and that is my hope moving forward. It's been very frustrating.
I'm not going to deny that. Yesterday I was sending
to text to you guys joking that, like, I want
to have a word with the Patriots coaches because I
don't understand why they took him in the second round
to play two other running backs over him.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
But I think that's starting to change.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
And I still think there's a chance he's not going
to live up to his draft day costs, But I
still think there is a chance that he takes over
this backfield at some point point and becomes an every
week start and potentially silly league winner like that is
still in the range of outcomes. So I want Henderson
on my rosters rather than trying to sell him.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
What are you gonna get?

Speaker 4 (37:12):
Right, Like, I'm in one league, my friend, and it's
a super flex. But even before the week started, he
was like, you have Jackson Dart.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
I want him.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
I was like, give me Trevion, Like and no, I'm
gonna try to get him on teams where I maybe
don't have to start him right away because now it
doesn't matter what you paid.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
On draft Day.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
It matters what you get him for now and what
you could use him for now. And I still think
there's a lot of upside.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Yeah, I'm still thinking he's potentially a BILO candidates. I
think a lot of people are gonna be frustrated, but
I'm with you, like, they're not going to just keep
running out Antonio Gibson all all year long.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
And you might give they might, but I'm assuming they
want to win, so I would.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
I was expecting for her the crash out because this
would have been a valid crash.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
Out because it's just like, do you watch both.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
Those running backs last week?

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Fumbled the ball, one of them did it twice, and
you are still both of them out over Travon Henderson. Yeah,
I was ready to take the TV.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Off the wall.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
I was it was about.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
To be some furniture because I started him again this
week when I said I wasn't going to.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
And I lost this week.

Speaker 5 (38:11):
So his best week as a pro.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Yeah, it's not all bad, but it's not all bad
for rookie running backs though.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Joe Quavius Woody, Marx seems to be getting some more
opportunity down there.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
I main got the governments on tab oh Man.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Well. I mean, look also a USC guy Joquavius Marks
in a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Four catches.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
I don't need you doing a viper at me right now.
Four catches, fifty yards and a touchdown, nearly twenty eight
fantasy points.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Lakwan. Is he Houston's new RB one?

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Sure it looks like it, because we just got reports
that there's still no timetable for Joe Mixon to come back.
So it looks like they are starting to use Woody
Marks like Joe Mixon. So they gave him seventeen carries.
They weren't like great on the ground, but I appreciate
the target share, and that's exactly what we want from
Woody because that's everything that he brings to the table.
I think he did make Nick Chubb looking visible. Two

(39:04):
weeks ago, I was saying, if Woody Marks is not
able to make Nick Chubb looking visible in this offense
that wants to run the ball and also have the
running back be a pass catcher like Joe Mixon.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Here we are.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
We're at this point now where Nick Chubb is starting
to look like he's taking the back seat in the touches.
He's not that explosive. He can't really add to the
passing game either, So it's like what he marks is
in the front seat right now as the RB one.
So if he's on waiver wires, I'm picking them up,
I'm cutting weight. I'm cutting guys that you know, I
have to make some hard decisions with. I do feel
like Calvin Ridley's on that list. Stefan Diggs until yesterday

(39:38):
was on that list. But seems like if they're using
him more downfield, thank god they're starting to listen, but
more so looking at what he marks man the one
hundred and nineteen scrimming yards, if we can keep that
energy going for the rest of the season to where
he's going to be a dominant person in the passing
game as well, because that old line just got worse.
It just trade away Cam Robinson, Like, I don't know
why they're deleting folks off of that old line and

(39:59):
not adding, but I do think that he's going to
be like one of those guys that's going to be
utilized in the screen game.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Yeah, I mean, look, catching the football is a big
thing for him.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
During his college career at a couple of different stops.
It seems like they are utilizing that right now. And
to your point about Joe Mixon, Uh, Demiko Ryan's saying
that Mixon is not close even conceding there's a chance
Jill Mixon does not play at all this year, so
a big opportunity for what he marks there.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
Yeah. You know, it's like I heard.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Some of those rumblings during the preseason, but none of
them seem to be coming from verified sources or from
you know, anybody you know, outwardly associated with the team.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
But now that Demico Ryan's.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Is even suggesting that that Mixon could miss the year,
you know, look, I've got at least one roster where.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I have him just stashed on Iran.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
Yeah, hearing news like that makes me think that maybe
it might be time to just, you know, for this
year at least say goodbye and then we'll figure it out.
Man for twenty twenty six says we're talking about cutting guys.
Of course, that means you probably have to add some folks.
We're taking a break, come back talk some waiver wire
and ToxS some of our own screw ups for the

(41:12):
weekend and things we wish we had a mulligin on
stick around for that coming up on the NFL Fantasy
Football Show, trying to dive into the Week four I
guess Week five waiver wire, since we're coming up on
Week five, Florido, Who have you put together on the
list this week?

Speaker 5 (41:30):
Jackson Dart We already spoke about him. I think he
is the biggest added quarterback.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
Sam Darnold looking more and more comfortable there with Seattle
and Matthew Stafford. I don't love his matchup this week,
but he was the QB one and he got a
lower We just spoke about Woody Marks. I think he
if he is available, empty the fab like he is
the biggest pickup of the week.

Speaker 5 (41:52):
Emery de Mercado played a lot.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
He was basically the the Trey Benson there. Kenneth Gainwell,
they are on by this week, but who knows. I
mean he could be the guy again in week six.
Emmanuel Wilson just because Josh Jacobs got banged up yesterday.

Speaker 5 (42:08):
Tyler Relseiear does not.

Speaker 4 (42:09):
Go away like Vijon is the number one running back
in fantasy, but Algier is still hanging on strong. Tajy
Spears just because Tony Pollard has been super ineffective. Xavier
Scott wide receiver turned running back now is the pass
catching specialist in that Aaron Jones role for the Vikings.
Chris Rodriguez played over Bill once again. Kendre Miller more

(42:32):
utilized than I expected. And then Breshad Smith, Brishard Smith
just because it's really ineffective right now in Kansas City
in that backfield. And then at receiver, shout out to you, Marcus,
you were on this one. Romeo Dobbs went off against
the Cowboys. Bomb the Giants receivers if they're available. In
Wandell and Slayton Isaiah Bond low Key is playing now

(42:55):
that Cedric Tillman role, So I think that is a
sneaky ad. And then Juju had four had zone targets
this past week, which is crazy. Hunter Henry, Dallas Goddard,
and Breton Strange. I know Hunter Henry and Dallas Goddard
have been rostered.

Speaker 5 (43:09):
Since July in all of your.

Speaker 4 (43:11):
Leagues, but they're still out there in a number of
leagues and they should not be.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Yeah, I mean, look, there's somebody out there that you
know will probably find Hunter Henry on the waiver Wyan
which case, go get it. Yeah, some of these the
names looking at here was one of Tyler Algier. You
are correct, Like I was watching that game last night
and I'm like, there's a lot of Tyler Algier and
Bijon still is able to eat. So I you know,
I'm not worried about Bijan's opportunity, but man, they they

(43:37):
will not give up on Tyler Algier and to their credit,
look he was productive. He ran the ball well, for sure.
I saw Chris Rodriguez had a big run. I don't
want any part of that backfield.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
That's just no.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
I don't want I don't want any part of that.
Romeo Dobs. I'm glad it hit yesterday. I'm going to
tell you that you can't rely on that because next
week could be Matthew Golden or two weeks they're on
a buy, so two weeks could be Matthew Golden Wicks, right,
you know, it could be any of them even consistently

(44:10):
on the.

Speaker 4 (44:10):
Field side, I'm a little low.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
He's a flex, He's a solid flex. He is a
solid flex. But you know, was it three touchdowns? I
wouldn't I wouldn't go.

Speaker 5 (44:19):
Yeah, that's going to be his best game of the year.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Yes, maybe a career.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
Maybe it was, yeah, exactly, so before you got here. Look,
we make mistakes too with our lineups. We do things
that we wish we could take back or fix or
do over.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
So lakwan, what would you like a duel over or
on from this past week?

Speaker 3 (44:38):
So a lot of folks like me who sat George
Pickens for obvious reasons because Dak has been with CD
and I couldn't imagine him being, you know, superstar Dak
Prescott as he was last night, especially with George Pickens
stepping up looking like actual wide receiver one production. So
I started Keenan Allen and I think that's not a
bad duel over like that, that's not a bad decision

(45:01):
because obviously, looking at Justin Irver playing in this different bag,
he clipped the entire division and then you go see
the giants who are got awful, and then the product
that we get, it's just like Keenan Allen didn't cut it.
You just put up less than ten Fantasy points. I
think George Pickens Man obviously is going to be a
strong consideration as long as Ceedee Lamb is out. As

(45:21):
a starter. It's going to be hard to bench him
just based off of this performance against a tough Packers
defense who didn't look tough you know, last night. But
I still think that the Packers defense have a solid defense,
you know, moving forward.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Yeah, I think I think a lot of things happened
last night.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
One, the Cowboys were not trying to get shown up
at home, you know, they for the whole week cared
about Michael Parson's coming back. I think there was a
little bit of extra about that there. Plus just you know,
just sort of one of those nights for sure.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
Jerry on the broadcast before the game, that game, that's.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
A lot to Dallas. Absolutely mean a lot to Dallas
for sure. Florida, who is your do over for the week?

Speaker 4 (45:56):
It was on my most important team, which is Nicolae's
all week long we had because she is Josh Allen.
We had to stack with Khalil Shakir in And then
I was doing some research over the weekend and stuff,
and I was like, Man, the Saints get cooked by
out wide waters. They've actually been pretty tough against the slot.
We're gonna go ahead and flip key on Coleman in
for Khalil Shakir and then I do the Sunday show

(46:18):
at work. Before I even got to my car, Khalis
Shakiir had a forty yard touchdown and so o man
it turned her situation. She would have been up ten
with Justin Fields versus Courtland Sutton. Now tonight she's down ten.
She is Justin Fields versus Courtland Sutton. She still has
a chance to win. She's actually the favorite. But it

(46:41):
would have been locked up had I not I at
least closely locked up, had I not made.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
That my boy on the couch for the rest of
the week. If she was.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Yeah, that couch, and you could have had your wife
take the Chargers in a survivor pool and watch them
just crumble on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
So that part.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
So you got him on the couch, or.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
You got your most comfortable pillow we got we.

Speaker 1 (47:07):
Got a loft up here if you need somewhere to crash,
you know, hang out. So I was victimized by the
early start on Sunday and that I wake up just
in time for kickoff only to find out that Jalen
Warren is in inactive and he is on in one
of my lineups. So I missed that, and then in
another league, I decided that I was gonna Well. I

(47:31):
didn't know that Kennedy Game was going to get a
huge role because I thought Jaalen Warre was gonna play.
So I stuck with Zach Charbonney on Thursday when Kenneth
Gangwell was sitting on my bench scoring multiple touchdowns, oh man.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Off his career.

Speaker 3 (47:46):
Yes, seriously, the best game of his life ever.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Yeah, and it happened on my bench. So that's cool.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Pasific time because like I rolled out of bed literally
just in time to kind of like turn on the
start of the game. Probably missed kickoff or whatever, but like, yeah,
I had no idea that Jalen Warren if it was.

Speaker 5 (48:04):
And it makes you feel any better at all.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
I think this is like a universal problem. Like and
like three or four of my leagues, the person who
has Jalen Warren started him because there was no even
rumor that he might not play.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Yeah, yeah, And I was thinking I went back. I
was like, did I miss something.

Speaker 1 (48:20):
It's like I was retweeting a bunch of injury updates
and like that I did, I retweeted and missed it.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
I was like, no, no, I just.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
It just it just showed up out of nowhere and
it just happened, so which I guess is sort of
a way to remind people too. By the way, there's
another international game coming up this week. It's the Vikings
and the Browns in London, so another six thirty am
start Pacific time nine thirty am Eastern. I will talk
about it again later in the week, but just a

(48:48):
reminder in case you have somebody going in that game.

Speaker 5 (48:51):
The league did the brown so dirty.

Speaker 4 (48:52):
They're like, the Vikings are already in Europe, but you're
going to be the home team.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
Yeah right, yeah, same, Why do that?

Speaker 1 (49:02):
I'm assuming the Vikings are going to stay over in
Europe and then just take the from right right, These
go from Dublin to London.

Speaker 5 (49:11):
Uh, I've never been to Dublin. I've been to London.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Yeah, but it's not a long trip at all. You know,
you got to take like at least a boat because
Ireland is an island.

Speaker 6 (49:25):
In England is a separates So ruled out next week
and Dylan Samson will go for four tds stops geography watch.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
By the way, here in the NFL Fantasy Football podcast,
letting you know that that Ireland and England are two
separate land masses that are separated by IT.

Speaker 4 (49:43):
I want to go to international games for the next
like month plus, yes, for a while, for every week.

Speaker 2 (49:52):
Yeah, so anyway, we'll remind you.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
Of course later the week to make sure you get
your lineup set on Saturday, which will not matter at
all when somebody is a surprise scratch on Sunday morning,
when most of the West Coast is still a sweep.
But anyway, that'll do it for this edition of the
NFL Fantasy Football Podcast.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Stay happy, staying healthy, do good and live well. Enjoy
the week, everybody.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
We will talk to you again on Wednesday.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
