Speaker 1 (00:11):
Everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
It's Me Your Man, NAMG. Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F.
Floyo and Lakwan Jones. Welcome to October. We've made it
through the first month of the season. Yeah, are your
rosters intact? Actually more than I think for most people.
You know, I have one team where I lost Neighbors
and Connor. But Neighbors is the big one for me
(00:33):
so far. But besides that, I think I've done a
good job avoiding.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Man, the fantasy streets are down bad right now.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
I mean, look, man, the injuries are killing me right now, Terry,
I mean CD, Like we lost Neighbors, Like, come on,
what we do?
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Actually I lost CD in a league, a couple of leagues. Yeah,
I guess it's worse than I'm trying to positive Yeah,
block it out.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
So, not only do we have injuries, we have guys
who haven't performed well. On top of that, we got
bye weeks. Ray, plenty of stuff to talk about on
the show. Today, we will dive into the week five
slate of games. We're going heavy on some wide receivers
in tough matchups and by week replacements, We got sleepers
and a whole lot more. But get started, as we
normally do on this show, with some fantasy headlines and
(01:16):
a big one that we got on Monday night. Tyreek
Hill now out for the remainder of the season with
torn ligaments in his dislocated knee.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
He was immediately taken.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
To the hospital on Monday night had surgery the next day.
So Laurier, when you look at this offense now, I
mean we were sort of about the Dolphins offense to
begin with. What now I mean, who who gets the opportunities?
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Where? Where does this get spread out?
Speaker 1 (01:41):
First? Tyreek exit of the field in the most Tyreek way,
poss cheering and every like. Yeah, I mean shout out
to him for that. This Dolphin. We were talking about
it while we were walking up from one studio into
this one, like what do we do with Jalen Model.
I can't stay to start him, I can't stay to
sind him with much confidence, Like I think he is
a very optioned de pendent player right now. But I
(02:02):
will fully admit I'm very excited about Darren Waller. I
know he played very routes and snaps this week. He
is the go to guy in the red zone for
this team. I don't question that at all. Jamen Wattle
has never really been that guy. And now without Tyreek
killertt plus, he was not only lining up at tight end,
he was playing as a wide receiver in some snaps.
(02:22):
And without Tyreek Kill there's going to be a lot
of targets up for grabs. And again, I know he
didn't play a lot. It was his first game in
two years. I expect his snaps and routes to just
slowly climb up each week.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
So I put in a lot of claims for Darren
Waller this Yeah, I just I want to get excited.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I can't.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
But here's it. If you're gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Do it now. Like, man, they got the moment.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
You've got to decide if you are in or out
on Darren Waller right now. And so I think because
of that, I'm probably gonna miss out on him. So
I could come back in three weeks and be like, yeah,
that was stupid, So.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
We'll see, but I could or yeah, it could go
either way.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Go in reality's probably gonna be like it's fine, that's
what it is.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
And the bar is so low. That is if he's
a threat to get a touchdown each week he's in play.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
I mean the one catch, you know, nine yards in
a touchdown makes you a borderline.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, that's that's almost nine points, right.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I mean two touchdowns off the street man, you got
my attention. And it seems like he's taken this season
very serious because they asked him questions after the game.
Miss he said he felt like he was a kid
again playing football. So I heard him say something else too.
I won't say it all this show.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Just you know, but let's leave the music for the offseason.
We can do the football now. Yes, moving on some
running back news to get to a couple of guys
looks like they're going to be out for the foreseeable future.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Trade Benson with a knee injury, is headed to injured.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Reserves, so he's gonna be out for at least four games,
I should say. Bucky Irving down in Tampa dealing with
a leg injury. Leg or foot, I've seen both.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
He's hurt. The part of his body has an issue.
It's like a hockey injury.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
You know where they're just this lower lower body and
you figure it out. He's gone to multiple doctors. To
get multiple opinions about it. But right now his status
for week five is up in the air. LaQuan, you
talk about the fantasy streets sort of being hurting right now,
any good waiver wire options out there for folks.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Uh, it could be difficult right now because like we're
banking on obviously, I'm Mari de Miccado like stepping up
in place of trade Bentson. We're looking at Kendre Miller,
like we're looking at all these guys. I think with
bye weeks, we have to look at who are we missing,
Josh Shakos, Bjeon Robinson. There's a lot of heavy hitters
out there that now we got to rely to the
fantasy waiver wire. Now do guys step in and show
(04:40):
up and show out? And again, there's not going to
be that many options out there. I know Woody Marks
was a high top priority. He's already out of the way.
If you see guys like I would say, I don't know,
like Blake Korn. This is a great matchup for him
on Thursday Night against the forty Whiners. So I do
think like he may be out there, like I do
what I bro, you already know you know the energy
(05:01):
this week, like it is just toxic. Yeah, things I
can't say on the mic, but you know what it
is toxic?
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Uh yeah, all right, So Blake Korum actually is a
good option. We'll get to that in just a.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Michael Carter little sneaky in Arizona. I wand demercaddle Moore,
but Carter might get a chance on the ground. I
would say.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Also, Jeremy McNichols still floating around there, just in case
it's not exciting, he is there. Chris Rodriguez is there.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Beggars can't be trusing.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
You gotta do what you gotta do, you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
In Baltimore, Lamar Jackson is expected to miss Week five.
He could miss the next two to three weeks as
he deals with a hamstring injury. Not great, Florio, how
many Ravens would you consider starting this week without Lamar?
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Dereck Henry is an obvious one. And on Fantasy Live Today,
Patrick Claybaum was saying that he wants Cooper Rushes like
Flair to be just on handoffs, like because he doesn't
want to see him throwing the ball at all. I
do think he still plays a Flowers just because of
what the upside is understand that the floor is lower
with Cooper Rush than it is with Lamar Jackson. But
(06:06):
unless you're in just like a two wide receiver league,
I find it difficult that you have that many options
better than say Flowers. Mark Andrews is very like option based.
He's coming off two big games, but like it depends
on who your other tight end is there, and that's it.
Like the Ravens defense, maybe if you want to try
to go after CJ. Stroud and that week O one,
(06:27):
but even that, like they're so banged up right now
that I think it's I'm worried about.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Jay Flowers, to be honest, man, like I'm worried about
them yards. I'm worried about him being as impactful as
he's been because we never seen him without Lamar, like
we haven't seen Zay without Lamar.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So I'm really.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Worried about how this is going to because like Cooper
Rush ain't airing it out like how Lamar is. Lamar
leading the league right now in yards per ten, So
I'm looking at Cooper rush career, it's at six point three,
So no, like I'm Blowers catching run guy though, So
I mean catching run where he How value with these
targets are going to be coming from Cooper rush.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
I think we're going to see eight nine men in
the box. So one on one for Flowers, I'll take
that shot. Cooper Rushkill has sent it to the parking lot.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Mark, Mark Andrews or Darren Waller.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Darren Waller, Wow, yeah, I'm by week start.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
This week four teams have the week off. The Falcons,
the Bears, the Packers and the Steelers all off in
week five, So.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Set your lineups accordingly.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Two teams that are not off they're playing on Thursday
Night Football. It is the San Francisco forty nine Ers
coming down to Los Angeles to take on the Rams
Thursday at a fifteen pm Eastern on Prime Video. You
see Lakwan here wearing his letterman jacket like he's going
to the football prom or something like that.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Wow, all right, football prom Okay, Striking.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Pearsol expected to be questionable in this one. They may play,
but they are going to be less than one hundred
percent when you look at this Florio. Besides Christian McCaffrey,
who we know is a must start at this point,
how many Niners do you feel comfortable starting on a
Thursday night at less than one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
It's it's so hard to say right now because is
pearsall playing, is Jennings playing, and most importantly is Brock
Purty playing. Like I think, if it's Brock Purdy, I'm
more inclined to trust those forty nine ers wide receivers.
If it's Mac Jones, I'm probably going to be trying
my best to It depends on options always, but I'm
(08:18):
gonna try to get away. Like in a couple of
deep leagues, I have no choice but to start Juwan
Jennings if he plays. But then in like a twelve
team league I'm in where we only have two wide
receiver spots on a flex, I'm getting away from him there.
So it's very option determined. But my hot take this
week is I think both passing games really struggle in
this game. When you guys get together, it's always a
(08:39):
rock fight. Has a history of success passing the ball
against the other.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
I will say this though, deep sleeper here maybe not
for managed leagues, but if you're playing daily, Jake TNGJ
just kind of a deep sleeper here, guy who's gonna
get some targets, especially near the end zone.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Best tight end in this game.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
That's a good recommendation there, Marcus, because you know we
can't defend the tight end. That's that's the only life
I'm gonna give over there though.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Someone to ask you though, because Kyrien Williams is mostly
doing his thing, and I know it sort of eats
at your soul that he is doing his thing. No,
how excited are you to start him in this one,
I'm actually happy.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
To start him because I do think there's gonna be
a lot of scoring opportunities for him on the table.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
And I want to say this.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I know folks are worried about Blake corn right, I
know the opportunities are there. He's on his heels like
the AJ styles and Undertaker meme if you know, you know.
But I do think what remains the same is that
Kyen is still the RB one. He's getting all the
valuable touches, He's still getting the scoring opportunities when striking
this is which is the red zone, and he is
still getting pepper with targets on third down as well.
(09:39):
So I think at the end of the day, this
may be a very heavy rushing attack against these forty whiners,
so I do think at the end.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Of the day, I almost said it correctly, but you know,
I call it myself.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
I had to stop myself. Hold up, are we doing
what we were talking about?
Speaker 4 (09:53):
So what we're gonna do?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
The person whose team loses this game on Monday you
have to come back and write some spoken word poetry
and perform it where you are complimentary of the winning team,
which means you have to use their proper name, right.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I mean, I want the Niners to wings.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
I want the Niners to win, but I want the
Niners to win, mostly because I know it is going
to eat at your soul to have to say I
say nice things about the Rams all the time on
this show.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I'm not gonna lie. I typically pull for the I
just enjoy the Rams. But this week I'm pulling for
the big chair right.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Now, the way to say nice things about the forty
nine ers. And that's why I just want to see that.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
I want to see just for the.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Show on Monday, just for the sake of content. Just
for the sake of content. We need it to happen. Anyway,
We'll put away the nasty nastiness for a little bit.
We'll get back to that a little bit later on
in the show, get to some of our Week five previews.
Another game over across the ocean there.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
It's more than a pond.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
It's big.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
It's an ocean. Vikings and Browns from London.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Vikings just get to hang out in Europe for the
week where the Brown's got to come on over. Newqu
uarter back for Cleveland, Joe Flaccout getting benched in favor
of Dylan Gabriel. But I want to ask you, Flora
about the quarterback on the other side, Carson Wentz at
a decent fantasy game last week. Was that real mirage
last week against the Steelers?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
It's the biggest mirage out there, Like if you were
watching this game, it yeah, it was all in the
second half of the fourth quarter, like they were down
multiple scorers in that one. And then I hope we
show it. There's a play where four Steelers defenders just
watched Jordan Addison run and he almost housed for like
(11:33):
an eighty yard touchdown. He got tackled at the one
and led to a touchdown. It was just in ketchup mode.
I don't expect that to be the case this week
against Dylan Gabriel and the Browns plus the Browns defense,
like you got sacked six times. I think it was
against the Steelers, and no disrespect to the Steelers, I
think the Browns d line is even better and they're
(11:54):
gonna wreck havoc.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
So I have Carson Wentz as they said this week
that I mean, I think that's all true because I
went back and looked at us, like he's had a
lot of yards and I was.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Like, oh yeah, yeah. It was facing him in fantasy like,
I was like, oh man, he's got three points. Then
he finishes with like twenty something. You're like, how did
this happen?
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Because it was it was emergency mode for most of
the second Broncos and Eagles.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
It's not a great schedule on paper.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
This week Broncos and Eagles looks like it's going to
be one of the best games of the week. Lakwan,
we got to you know, we got Aj Brown out
here posting boats. Yeah, you know, the enemy speaks softly
and carries a knife, all that kind of stuff. Can
you start Aj Brown this week against Denver?
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Listen, let me ask the fantasy street zone and you
sit Aj Brown? That is the situation. Can you sit him.
But I do feel like I think we saw last
week with PS two, did the Jamar Chase get your
expectations in order?
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Because the Boys we in locked these last couple.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Of weeks, and the Eagles seem to be having him
off script, like he's just not the function of this offense.
So I would say this, with all these injuries, Ceedee Lamb,
Terry McLaurin, we lost Leek. I do feel like at
the end of the day, you just have to have
the rest, so your roster spots at strong points where
Aj Brown, your expectations are going to come down lower.
Those floors are going to be scary. That it for
(13:07):
Jamar Chase last week, and you saw how scary that was.
The cockroaches was everywhere on the floor where he was at.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I will say, in AJ Brown's defense, I'd rather have
Jalen Hurts than Jake Browning.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Can I Aj Brown?
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Guy?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
I'm saying, like by low, I have him as a
start this week. I get it. It was bad last week.
He had nine targets and seventy five percent.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Of their air yards.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah, like volume is going his way. I'm going to
buy the talent that is AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts
to fix this and get right.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I mean, look, you can look at this so many
different ways because he did have a ton of targets,
but also like half of them were unketchable. I mean, yeah,
calling for fair catches.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
It's yes, it's poor quality right now. But again I'm
just buying on the talent that Jalen Hurts is better
than that. AJ Brown is better than that, and we've
seen them connect time and time again for huge days
and huge seasons. Patrick Sartain made Jamar Chase crash on
on what do you think about that? The lineman blocking
(14:05):
one guy and they left the edge like that. Joe
Burrow would be struggling right now. Behind this old line.
They're killing Chase Brown, They're killing the passing attack. The
old line is awful. This team was constructed very poorly,
and I'm not look like Certan is awesome. I'm not
going to say he's not, but I think AJ Brown
could win too.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Everything about that was suspect, so we'll find out. But again,
to your point, can you sit AJ Brown is sort
of the question you have to ask yourself. Texans At Ravens,
we talked about Lamar Jackson and his situation there. But
on the other side, Florio, do we start targeting the
Ravens defense because they've kind of been run through in.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
The first month.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Yes, you should. They're banged up, they're not playing well
and all of that. Like, I think what he Marx
is a strong start this week. Nico Collins is a
strong start every week. Besides that, I don't really feel
great about any of the Texans, but there will be
weeks where there's an offense that is better than that.
I think like CJ. Stroud is a sleeper in this one,
but I don't think he's like a straight start. But yeah,
(15:02):
like there's gonna be other weeks where the Ravens play
good offenses and you could load up on players against them.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yeah, I do like Nico Collins this week. I like
Woody Marks for sure, so should be interesting. We'll see
how it goes. But the Baltimore's defense has not been great.
The injuries keep piling boss, see how this goes.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
We are just getting started.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
We still have more games to go over, plus some
bye week replacements. Stick around for that and more coming
up on the NFL Fantasy Football Show. As you mentioned,
four teams on a bye this week, so you're probably
looking for guys to plug into some empty spots in
your lineup. We got bye week replacements quarterback, running back,
and wide receiver slash tight end LQ.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Who are your three in those categories?
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Well, at quarterback, I got Daniel Jones. We need to
stop questioning him, man. I am rolling with Indiana Jones.
And guess what, you can't find another fantasy analyst in
the fantasy streets that was talking like me talking about
Daniel Jones is top twelve, so stop playing with the boy.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
But R J.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Harvey at running back he is a great bye week filler.
We saw Sean Payne lean into or J. Harvey and
his opportunities in the first half. He actually had more
opportunities than JK Dobbins. I know the second half was
a different story, but they wanted JK to crack that
one hundred yards. Now at wy receiver, Marcus this might
sound crazy, the og, the og of the satral discontent,
(16:21):
Chris o'lave. He is going to be a by week
filler this week because he has the second most targets
behind my boy pookin Nakoa. He is cooking right now
when it comes to vying, but the valuable targets aren't
there for him. But Fiamo's king right.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
We'll pay attention to the thirty percent target share in
the thirty five percent.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Air yard show. We will not pay attention to the
one point two.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yards perrout run.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Florida, who are your vibriy replacements.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
We have a couple of those guys that starts, and
I have a couple of my guys. This week, it's
just straight starts. Jackson Dart, welcome to the Dart side.
I'm stealing. He bawled out this week. Give you twenty
Fantasy points despite only throwing for barely over one hundred
yards because he can run and he had a near
four yard run called back a lot of carries in
the red zone. I think Jackson Dart brings a lot
(17:04):
of upside, especially this week against the Saints. Emery de Mercado,
I swear I had this in before the Benson news,
but now I think he just becomes someone that you
can start. The Titans are bad, and the Cardinals are
gonna have a lead and be able to run plenty
against him. The Titans have struggled against the run and
then Darren Waller, the big fella. I said, I believe
in him. You see this, He's getting used and the
(17:25):
go to end zone guy, red zone guy, playing out wide,
playing as a tight end, and I just think he's
gonna get more and more acclimated. Remember what John who
Smith did in Miami last year. But I do think
we're gonna see a lot of targets go. Darren Waller's
all right, So we're all in on Darren Waller.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Here for me my three by week replacements.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
One, we start up in Seattle with Sam Donald going
against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game that could
be back and forth in this one, because we know
the Bucks can score even at The Seahawks defense has
been playing well this year. Sam Donald's starting to get
a little bit more comfortable there. They're starting to let
him throw the ball a little bit more.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Obviously, we know.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Jsen is making big plays there but also using guys
out of the backfield to catch the football. So Sam
Donald has low end QB one sleeper vibes for me.
This week, we've talked about Woody Marx in that Houston
Texans backfield absolutely closing the gap on Nick Chubb. For
RB one opportunities. There looks a lot more dynamic look.
We like Nick Chubb, but Woody Marx has more juice
and is much more of a pass catcher out of
(18:23):
the backfield. So if nothing else, he can get you
some of those PPR points just by getting targeted by CJ.
Shroud in this one and then going a little bit
deeper here. I know the Chiefs are getting people back.
Brian Xavier worthies back where she Rice.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Is coming back.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Iikwan Thornton has been the guy for Patrick Mahomes in
the first month of the season. We have seen deep
shots down the field, we have seen him get those
in zone targets. And so a guy who was a
cast off from one of the worst wide receiver rooms
in the league in New England has found life in
Kansas City. And especially if you're playing DFS, Taikwan Thorton
seems like a nice way to plug in even if
you're just really short handed with injuries and buys. Maybe
(18:59):
give Taekwon Thorn to run at the flex spots. There
you go our bye week replacements here. In Week five,
continuing our previews, we got the Cowboys at the Jets.
George Pickens balled out last week out. Is he a
wide receiver one this week?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Yes, I am not going to doubt that connection him
and Dak have made. I mean, honestly, you saw them
last week against the Packers and the Jets. They're not
really scary. They're one of the worst pass rushers in
the league right now. The backing is not doing great.
They're just a middle of the pack type of defense.
And I think Dak and George Pickens connection. We saw
they were on some Shock and Kobe stuff. My boy
is one of the folks out there that is going
(19:33):
to go downfield, put his foot in the ground, and
have the catch radius out the wazoo. So I think
that's what we're going to see a lot of in
this game against the Jets. So Dak Pickens, Yeah, we're
gonna get wide receiver one production this week, all right.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Plus we're pushing off the inevitable George Pickens crash out
because he's still going to get targets with those CD
lamb on the field.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
Bucks.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
At the Seahawks, I talked about sam Donold, I talked
about Jackson Smith and Jig, but I mean we have
not talked about Cooper Cup. I'm asking you this question
because I don't want to ask him this question. Is
Cooper cut rosterable at this I don't know, So yeah,
that's why that's why I was going to ask you
the question.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
I was like, I think all of us were fading
him coming into the year. So I actually have no
rosters with Cooper Cup on it, And if I did
coming into the year, I would now have no rosters
with Cooper Cup on it because three targets, then nine,
then three, then five, one game of more than thirty
one yards this season, no touchdowns. JSN is getting all
the volume, and then last week we saw like Elijah
(20:27):
Royal sneaky tight end. They're starting to get more in news.
So yeah, I think Cooper Cup is a better real
life piece for the Seahawks than he is for fantasy.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
I mean, obviously he gives you a lot in terms of,
you know, he helps with blocking, he helps kind of
like mentor the rest of the room, not giving you
much in the way of production and went to the ops.
I think I don't think it had to do with
where he went.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
I think it's just it is where he went.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
His time is sort of up.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Hey, they're tied for first place. But you guys, hey,
relax right now, all right, now, I get that wrong.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Commanders, the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
This is another question that I hesitate to ask you
because I see you stretching the hamstrings getting ready for
that victory lap here.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Would you start LADDI McConkey against the commander Oh me personally?
Me personally? Yes, you No, I would not.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Okay, It's real bad over there, and I think your
expectations are still this is going to be the breakout
game for Ladd. And I'm gonna tell you now, I'm
victory lapping this because I said, if the Chargers offense
stabilize this and they bring in bigger threats for the
target share, Therefore, situational targets last year does not matter.
You're competing with a non confident HJ. You're dealing with
(21:32):
Will Disley last year. Now you're dealing with Keenan Allen.
Who is the real alpha to that room.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
I don't think he's the alpha. The numbers numbers support
that is the alpha. Q is. We're getting an Air
Yards leader is Quinn Johnson.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Quinn Johnson is the hot new thing on the scene.
But let's not getting messed up. Keenan Allen a wash.
That's one thing for certain that.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
That's why Lad. But he's not the alpha. He is
the alpha. I will say this, the Commanders are bad
against slot receivers.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Bat.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I think it's about low on Lad personally, not saying
he's going to turn second round value. But you don't
care where he win if you trade for him. If
you trade for him, don't car two adjusts now. They
cannot leave QJ one on one on the outside just
streaking downfields.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
So it's a tough call. I like the matchup. I'm
gonna leave it at that. I like the matchup for Lad.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
This week. It's time to see who will deliver.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Presented by Uber Eats, we're giving you our top sleepers
for the week, and LaQuan you just you're all in
on the Saints this week.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Huh Yeah, I'm mister RB three. I mean now he
has risen to RB two and he's making damage.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Right now. You probably figure out who the RB three
now is.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
But Kendre Miller is.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
My Snorre Lax this week, and I think folks are
picking him up on the wave war. The reason why
I feel confident is because each week, his opportunities, his touches,
his snaps have increased, and he has been very more
efficient than Alvin Kamara on the ground. So I think
once they start peppering him some targets, AK might be
in trouble. But Kendry Miller has looked good in between
the tackles and even keeping his balance off the contact.
(22:52):
So I think the ceiling is going to be risen
if he ends up being the RB one, because, like
I do feel like AK is now on the decline
as a threat on the ground, and even his targets
had ten percent on the team. That kind of looks
a little crazy for.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
Album Kamara right now at this point in the season.
That's part of I don't understand. Did somebody not tell
Spencer Ratler that it's okay to throw to the running back.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
He want to air it? Jawan Johnson, that's his mass.
By the way, Villas Jones is the RB three now,
isn't that the X wide receiver for the Bears?
Speaker 4 (23:19):
And the other guy who's like, you know, almost thirty.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Yeah, he doesn't counts an RB three and just telling you.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Florida loves your slipper This week It's kind of ties
both of this together. He's a former RB three. He's
a former wide receiver Xavier Scott of the Minnesota Vikings,
who I know most of you did not know was
a thing until last week. But he's playing the Aaron
Jones passing down role there. They split routes him and
Jordan Mason. But he had eight targets last week that
(23:46):
was tied for the second most on the team. He
had the second most catches, turn it into forty three
yards and a touchdown. And the thing is, the Browns
defense is so hard to run against. Outside of Jamior Gibbs,
they've shut down every running back they have faced this season.
And if Jordan Mason is ruggling on the ground, I
think they'll start to throw it as an extension of
the run game. And that means Xavior this is a
good call. Honestly, they're all good watch watching that care
(24:08):
for Jordan Man.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Watching that game last week was like, there's a lot
of Xavier Scott happening.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
In this one. So we'll see how that goes again
this week.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
For me, I'm going ke on Coleman because he had
the big Week one and we thought this is it
and in weeks two and three we were kind of like, eh,
I think this is a good week for him though,
going against the New England Patriots, who give up a
lot of big plays through the passing game. Now, look,
I get it, Josh Allen is spreading the ball out.
Everybody's kind of getting the taste in that passing game.
But when they're looking to go downfield, generally speaking, they
(24:35):
are looking in Coleman's direction. Not too many teams give
up the number of explosive pass plays through the air
that the Patriots do, So when Josh Allen is going
to push the ball downfield, I think he's going to
look in Coleman's direction. So I think this could look
a little bit closer to what we saw from him
in Week one. It's going to be up and down
for him all year, just because that's the nature of
the Bills offense, but this does feel like one of
(24:57):
the Matchupskean Coleman can get you what you I know,
Florial hype.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
That's everything Floria wants to hear. I just want them
to give him more opportunity.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
He looks like he's improved for sure from last year.
So anyway, that was who will deliver presented by Uber Eats,
