Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, everybody, It's Monday, October sixth, twenty twenty five. Welcome
to the NFL Fantasy Football Show, where some of us
are still in denial. It's me and your man named
G Marcus Grant, joined by Michael F. Florio and Lakwan Jones.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Oh, so, how was the weekend? Anything? Anything interesting happening
over the weekend?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
My favorite team lost. Do you see the cockiness and
arrogance of this guy? I get shot at in the
intro What I know what you're doing. I know what
you're doing.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Say you'll be fair. There was a lot of big
talk last week on this show.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I mean so in case you missed everything last week.
Previously on the Fantasy Football Show, Rams played on Thursday nights,
and Lakwan and I made a friendly wager that the
person who whose team lost that game would have to
write a poem honoring and celebrating the winning side of things.

(01:06):
And so that's going to happen later on the show.
We have time slay it out for it at the
end of the show, where Lakwan is going to have
to read a little bit of poetry that I'm sure
he spent a lot of time aka no time at all.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Right over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
But before we get to that, and we will get
to that at the end of the show. I did
have a few thoughts about what happened on Thursday night,
and off the top, I just want to say, Lakwan.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
That I didn't do this to you. You did this
to you.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
And this is going to hurt you a hell of
a lot more than it hurts me, because you see,
all last week you were walking around the building supporting
the Eric Dickerson collection, you know, wearing You're gonna Letterer's
jackets and your starter jackets and carrying around your little
plastic three D printed hammer, which that you try I
had to break side note is blasphemous because if Thor

(02:06):
followed the NFL, why would he be a Rams fan
when the Vikings are right there.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
That aside, interesting, I really shouldn't be happy.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
About the Niners beating a bad team because I don't
really know what I'll say about the Rams, because because
the Rams lost to the Eagles, who I was told
are a bad team, and then on Thursday, despite of
what my T shirt might say, the Rams lost to
the San Francisco thirty nine ers, and I'm calling them
that because they went into the game without their best

(02:40):
pass rusher, losing a couple of defensive linemen, and missing
half of their starting offense. Kyle Shanahan didn't have his
starting quarterback, starting tight end, starting left guard, and his
three top receivers.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
And then what ended up happening.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Your defense got dog walked up and down the field
by a guy who showed up a Sofi stadium dressed
like a Batman.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Villain of the.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Week, say yes, seven, I mean, look, it's it's all
jokes until Mac Jones poisons Gotham's water supply. Right, speaking
of water, Quinton Lake, I'm gonna start calling him Quentin
Drake the way he got beat by Kendrick.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
It was so.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
That after that final fourth down play, my wife was
in the kitchen shouting.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Turn the Stevie off, turn a Stevie off. All everyone
was for Mexico National being rational. Give them what they want.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
It's not enough. Puka with ten catches, but it's not enough.
Staffed with three tunnies, but it's not enough. Kyn Williams
with a goalie fumble brother that seem is tough, Butteres
saying I get it. This was a big moment for
you guys, Island game national television against a long time
division rival with a chance to take over soul possession

(03:59):
of first place. Instead, what do you get?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Who's house? Max House?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
So look, I'm gonna leave it to former Niners defensive
tackle and resident philosopher Dana Stubblefield, who many many years
ago said, same old, Sorry, rams, we got.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Some news headlines after the weekend, We're gonna start.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
I care respond.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
That is so crazy.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
I can't respond to that. I'm gonna let you cook.
You got that off. You got that off.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
There, So I just had my chest. I had to
get that off my chest. Yeah, we do have some
We're gonna have a lot of stuff to do today.
We're gonna go obviously got the Rookie Report. We'll do
a little bit of WTF is going on? We have
waiver wire picks, all that kind of stuff. Start with
some news headlines. One that popped up later in the afternoon.
And if you were watching the Commanders and Charges, you

(04:50):
probably you know, I mean, were following along a little bit.
But after the game, Omari and Hampton was spotted leaving
the stadium in a walking boot. I was telling you
guys before the show, I've I kind of had that
game on, was doing some other things getting ready for today,
and looked up and I saw Kimani Vadal getting all
these carries and I was like, well, is he just
is he just getting a series?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Like what's happening? But they got near the goal line,
it was still Vidal, So I.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Was sort of confused.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
And you know, I guess for the Commani Vadal hive,
if any of you still exist.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I'm kind of happy for y'all.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
So I'm gonna ask you this, though we don't know
yet as of you know, doing this show on Monday morning,
what Hampton's situation is going to be. But you know,
knowing what little we know, is it Kimani Vidal season?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
I don't know, man, I got to be honest, I
really don't know if it's Kamani Videll season because I
don't know if they fully trust him to take this
workload as the RB one. This is a guy that's
coming off the practice squad just before the season started.
So I'm looking at this backfields like there has to
be a mixture of Haskins back there as well to
where this may be an offense to just switched that

(05:53):
gear into being a heavy pass offense now, like they're
going to have to switch gears. The drop off from
Hampton to the I mean, the gap has come on, guys,
Let's be honest with ourselves. So, like, I get there
may be volume coming of a Doll's way, but how
valuable will this volume be? You know, because I don't
know if he can pick up and put his feet
in Hampton shoes and have that same outcome, you know,

(06:16):
Like we just haven't seen that. So I guess a
waiver wire pickup is something that I will be interested in.
But I'm not going and dropping like guys that have
valuable spots on my rosters for a doll when we
really don't have the updated news on Hampton just yet.
This could be precautionary, this could be something that we're
overseeing or overlooking or whatever the case may be. It's

(06:37):
just one of those situations that I'm not going to
react just yet.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah, I mean, I think that's probably fair.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I know we'll hopefully get some more news as the
week goes along quickly. Look, you guys know the way
this show works and our luck, you know, the moment
that we finished recording and post it. You know, he
something bad could really happen. Who knows, because that's just
we just have terrible luck like that.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
But for now.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
You've been on this, I'm about to say it's happened
to us like.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
You you know how this works. So for now, I
think v Donal will get away rewire later. But Vadal
is sort of a cautionary ad, hopefully for Hampton's sake,
for the Charger's sake, for fantasy manager's sake.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Whatever this is is not serious, and.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
As you mentioned, it's a precautionary thing. But we shall
find out a little bit later. On other bit of news,
and this actually was posted before the Eagles played yesterday
morning against the Broncos. The Eagles say they had no
plans to trade AJ Brown. We talked last week about
you know, him doing the whole the enemy speaks kindly

(07:44):
and holds a knife thing, just posting quotes on social media,
what have you. I'm obviously not happy with the way
things are going.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
He did not have a great.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Game on Sunday, DeVonta Smith did all the big plays
through the air. Devanta was over one hundred yards that
you think Aj was what five for forty three I.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Believe was his line on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
So the Eagles have no plans to trade AJ Brown,
so they say Florio for fantasy managers, is it times
to trade four or trade away AJ Brown?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I might differ from some others, but I still think
it's the time to trade four because perception is reality
in fantasy sports, and the perception right now is that
AJ Brown's value is down, maybe at the lowest it's
been since he's became an Eagle. So a big thing
that I do in fantasy is I try to acquire

(08:37):
very talented players when their value is at a low.
And I know this is like three weeks in a
row of this being the case for AJ Brown, but
he's still getting big volume and like yesterday, Patrick's ortan
was on and for over ninety percent of his routes,
he caught four or five targets for forty yards. That's

(08:58):
a good day against the corner in football. And it
could have been way better because the Eagles lost because
Jalen Hurts air maled a wide open AJ Brown for
what would have been a fifty plus yard touchdown, Like
he had two to three steps on the nearest defender,
so he did his job. And I keep saying it,

(09:20):
and I know it's frustrating, and I also think it
very much So depends on your situation. If you're one
in four, you probably gotta trade AJ Brown. If you're
four and one, I think that is a good opportunity
to try to add the talent onto your team, if
it depends on what your situation is. But I'm gonna
keep saying it, like we've seen this Hurts and AJ

(09:43):
Brown combination go off for huge games and huge seasons
before I know, right now and we could finally talk
about it. I think that the Eagles offense is broken
right Like it hasn't been good. They're not winning every
single game. They probably should be three and two or
two and three right now. I think you you can argue,
but yeah, as long as he is getting this sort

(10:03):
of volume, if you're having a winning record right now,
I would recommend going and trying to acquire I mean, like.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Look, I'm sure you're itching to get in here because
I know you have been sort of on this the
Eagles stink train for a few weeks.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I Don'm not good.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I don't fully agree with your take, but I do
think there's worth having a conversation, especially fantasy wise, about
this offense, because yeah, Davonta Smith had a big game
yesterday and that was great. But I don't know if
it feels like I'm at a point where beyond Jalen
Hurts and Saquon there's nobody else I feel confident about it.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
I guess maybe I.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Can tell myself a story about Dallas Goddard, but that's
more about the state of tied end versus Goddard individually.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Yeah, Like when it comes to Smith and Brown, like
I like Devonte Smith more than rostering AJ Brown right now,
because it's like I'm not forcing Smith into my lineups,
Like Smith went into my lineups this weekend because of byes,
and like, I feel like he is a guy that
you could really I owned to be a feeling as
a flex now AJ Brown that cost the price everything
that we drafted on him, and he's on an offense

(11:06):
where he's clearly frustrated. I mean, if he crashes out enough,
he might end up in Miami.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I'm just saying, but it's just not good right now.
Like I'm going to be strapped to AJ Brown for
the next couple of weeks, because after a while, you're
just gonna chalk it up because I don't see any
fancy rosters out there right now that have good records
with AJ Brown as their wide receiver one. And I
feel like a victim is one of the folks out
there in one of the leagues where I can't trade
him if I wanted to, Like Florio's saying, Tobai Lo,

(11:33):
I wish I was in that situation where I can
help out somebody else, like, hey, get AJ Brown off
your roster.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Man.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I feel like he's a good player. He can end
up being my wide receiver three or four. But that
is not the case. Like some of the folks who
are stuck with AJ Brown don't even know what the
correct trade value is. I feel like you're gonna lose
on that end right now, unless you're getting a Lad
McConkie back. Like that's literally where I see the levels
right now for AJ Brown in La McConkie.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah, you mentioned obviously.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
We started this whole conversation with the story that the
Eagles say they don't plan to trade AJ Brown, which
I fully like, why would they?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
You know?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
At some point he's going to be crucial to their
success if they want to have another deep run. But
you threw out the idea of him going to Miami
and man with no Tyreek Hill. With Tyreek Hill likely
maybe have played his final down in Miami, I'm pairing
him there in that offense would be fantastic.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Miami is going to blow it up themselves.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
That's the problem is that they're They're not They're not
going to go and give up assets to acquire somebody
like AJ Brown when this Dolphins team I think is
going to look drastically different next year.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Interesting, that is the dream fit from a fantasy perspective.
It is not for a Bills fan. Hell yeah, why
would I not want the one of the best wide receivers?
Want another Diva?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
You want another?

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yes, the Bills have no one who can win downfield
right now? Your old Dava just put belt to bite
last year, which which Diggs played brake, he played phenomenal.
I don't get why it's being spun as if like
Diggs is getting better, Like he's the one who wanted
to leave, Like why is it getting spun Like he
got his revenge? Look to the victor goes to spoil

(13:14):
but I just don't get why that is the way.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
It's being framed, because because we're simplistic and we just
like the revenge game narrative, like hey, you're playing your
old team.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Like he was dancing, going crazy and it's like, dude,
you want it out. If you wanted to say, you'd
be in the other locker room right now.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
I will say this, And I don't think we planned
to really talk much about that game.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Drake May did a lot of Josh Allen's stuff last night.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Dude, Drake May is so good and I'm so happy
the world is start and see it.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, he's like.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
That that play late in the game where he's like
getting change dragged down and just somehow gets it to
Stefan Diggs for a first down.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
That was some pure jobs.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
I was at a bar with a bunch of Bills
fans and he gets wrapped up and we started cheering
and then he breaks out of it and somehow hits
digs and I was like, that is what I have
been saying for a year now. That makes his kids
so special. He's balling.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
He is balling.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
I also think, I mean he's been playing well. I
also think him getting Stephan Diggs more involved, has accelerated
his rise.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Yes downfield, that's what that's the difference from what was
happening in the first couple of weeks. Like keep having
that boy going down field, man, and you will get
the product that you got yesterday.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
It's one thing to survive on Hunter Henry and Pop
Douglas and Kashawan body. It's another thing when you can
get Stephan Diggs involved in that offense.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Last point on this game, the Patriots, they must love.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Bad running backs because no matter how many times the
top two guys go out there and fumble and run
into their own lineman and everything, Travion had one snap.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
I want to say, with like a minute left in
the second half, first half, I'm like, what are we
doing here? Like it just doesn't you can't. You can't
start him right now because they don't want to use him.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
You know, I've got it with Florida on this one man.
Like I was watching that games just thinking Mike Rabel
must have been in some really toxic relationships in the
past because he can't quit somebody who's doing him wrong
right now.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Roder Steven Madreic fumbles every chance he gets.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Like him and Iron are having a drop off, like seriously, except.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Tyr's giving him production, right, He's doing things. So yeah,
it's it's wild because after that fumbleized like, well, this
has to be Trevion Anderson, right, and then it was
Antonio Gibson.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Of course, I've chalked it up. I'm done.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
I already turned the page, like I already see Mike
Rabel just likes to be hurt, I mean used in
the dator whatever, that's your relationship status. Cool, you go
ahead and do that, because that doesn't make sense. Thank god,
they wont I mean sorry.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, if Steven you're getting carries and they lose, that's
gonna be a tough fire.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
Everybody get him out.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
That's a tough question to answer for sure.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
So we don't know wtf is going on there. There
are a few other situations where we're still not sure
exactly what is happening. We're go take a quick break,
come back with a little bit of that and a
rookie report. It's coming up next on the NFL Fantasy
Football Show.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
So here we are most of the way through Week five.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
We still got the Monday night game between the Chiefs
and the Jaguars, which is surprisingly interesting all.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Of a sudden.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
I don't think anybody anticipated that before the season started,
but that'll be one.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
To watch for sure.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
But some other things through Week five that have us
a little bit sideways, making my brain itch a little bit.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
The first one is Florio.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Derek Henry has now gone four straight games with fifty
or fewer rushing yards, this time in a game where
there was no Lamar Jackson and you thought just maybe
they would lean on Henry a little bit. I mean,
UCF is going on with Derek Henry in that Ravens
run game.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
I think it's a number of things, and I spent
a lot of time yesterday looking into this because I'll
the curtain back I'm going bowld this week and saying
to sit Derreck Henry if Lamar Jackson is out, because one,
he gets game scripted out almost before he steps on
the field, Like the Ravens are just getting blown out

(17:14):
by two touchdowns in the middle of the first quarter.
And I think the Rams, a team that Lakwan knows
very well and maybe Marcus does a little bit, UH
could put up come on ooints very quickly. And that
is something I worry about their O line is very
banged up right now. So looking at the numbers yesterday,
it was in his games as a Raven the it

(17:34):
was bottom four in yards before contact, so he's getting
hit right away yards per carry. Teams are no longer
giving Henry light boxes like when Lamar's out there, they're
they're loading up front, making life Henry on him, which
which makes sense right Like you're if you're playing the
Ravens without Lamar twenty two, is the player that you're
focusing in on. So I think it's a number of things.

(17:56):
One I also think like, let's remember what Henry was
two years ago in his final year with Tennessee. We
were starting to write the obituary right and be like, okay,
like he had a fantastic career. He's not that guy anymore.
So I think Henry is still an excellent running back.
But I think at thirty two years old, asking him

(18:17):
to carry a team that is missing a ton of
pieces and banged up O line and can't really run
block for him, it's just not it's putting too much
on his plate at this age, I think. Plus I
also think when they fall behind, it's justice Hill that's
going to come in and get a lot of the snaps,
So that has me. Plus we saw a little bit
of Keith Mitchell mixed in, so like that scares me

(18:40):
as well. So it's a lot going wrong for Henry
right now. And really it's one good game and four
duds in a row now.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
So we talked about this with AJ Brown. I'll ask
you about Derek Henry trade four, trade away.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
I'm a little bit more skeptical, only because of all
the injury the Ravens have. But I think it's very
similar to AJ Brown. If you're sitting there at two
and three or one and four and you feel like
your your season is starting to get away from you,
I think you do have to probably try to sell
him now. But if you're sitting at like four and

(19:15):
one and you're or five and oh something like that,
and you're feeling really good about your team, I always
think then it's worth trying to roll the dice on
a very talented player like this when when the value
is at the low and it's his value is at
the lowest it's been since he's signed with the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah, it has been rough, absolutely, and I think your
point about James script coming in there is a big
one just because they're they're getting rolled. And I think
even when Lamar comes back, because that defense is so
beat up, they're still going to give up points and
that they against the.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Texans like the Rams are gonna be skyt.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
I do think there's value in his name, like there's
not actual value of what he has done. So like
if I can trade Derrick Henry, as crazy as it sounds,
for a Quinn Shawn Jenkins or even a camp scat Boo,
I would do it right now. Kind of get ahead
of it, because those are both running backs that are
on the train. They're on the arrow that is pointing up,
and we've seen them ball out the last three games.
So it's like, I don't know what is looking ahead

(20:12):
for Derrick Henry with a banged up Lamar, because I
do think this alters the entire season for this team
because the defense ain't gonna get no better. Even with
the trade deadline, that's not going to help. I don't
care if they trade for Sauce Gardner. This team overall
is beat up and bad, So like I would rather get.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
Away Dawson Game cooked two.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah, I mean, hey, everybody getting cooked right now, I
mean injuries and everybody.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I yeah, and I'm also wondering. I mean, look, there's
a they're one in four right now. There's certainly, if
Lamar doesn't play next week, a very real chance. I mean, look,
even if Lamart does play next week, there's a chance
that they could be one in five after that. And
you start to wonder what does that mean for your
personnel and your usage?

Speaker 2 (20:52):
You know, are you really going to go loading up.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Derek Henry with touches at one in five when the
playoffs are maybe not mathematically gone.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
But I think win this division.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Geeesh, that's hard because I think the Browns are the
scrappiest team of the division, and then you have the
Steelers who are always going to make the playoffs, and
then the Bengals are the Bengals.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
But it's like, after this Rams game, the Ravens schedule
does open up.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
It was really the Bears out of the Buy. They
get the Bears out of the Bay, so that's a
beat up game.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Then they get the Bengals twice, they get the Dolphins,
they the Jets. Some good running matchups as well. If
you're looking to acquire Derrick Henry.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
I mean I think in terms of winning the division,
if you are the Ravens, you got to figure out
you gotta figure out how to win I think ten games, right,
you know the Steelers with Mike Tom that are going
to win at least nine.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
You have to beat Pittsburgh twice. You gotta beat him twice.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
You know that Mike Tom is gonna win at least
nine games because that's just what he does.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
So you got to figure out do you.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Have nine wins left on the schedule somewhere along the way.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Maybe if they beat Pittsburgh twice, they would only then
need to make up one more game on the Steelers,
and I think they can do that, so we'll see.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
But definitely not the start anybody had imagined. No for
the Rams at this point, steaking of running backs who
aren't doing anything lacan Tyler Baday is now playing more
snaps than RJ. Harvey at least he did yesterday. You
said you've turned the page on Travon Henderson. How are
you feeling about r J Harvey right now?

Speaker 3 (22:25):
The entire book is in the trash can in flames
like as just at this point, because look when I
see things like this, I like to go back. I'm like,
all right, what was happening in the game now? But
they only had one touch but Harvey only had seven.
And I think Sean Payton was out there trying to
get things designed for him, trying to get him going,
trying to get him to be one of the most
dangerous players on the team. But the Eagles, they're just

(22:46):
a great team on the defensive side. When it comes
to the trenches and linebackers, these guys were sidelined and
sideline everything.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
For RJ. Harvey.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
They always kept a man on him. Even when he's
running out for routes. It's like, oh my god, bo
hit him, and then it's like you can't because he's
so Therefore, it's like he kind of got just pushed
out of the way of the whole entire game, Like
he got completely just pushed to the side, and the
ball is handed to JK. Dobbins because that was the
only thing working for that run game. So Tyler Bday
getting more snaps than RJ. Harvey doesn't bother me because

(23:15):
they're all on third down, which again, they kind of
took Harvey out of the game before the third quarter.
So it's like nothing that they could do to get
the run game going with him either because bouncing outside
wasn't happening because Eagles linebackers like one of the things
that I do like about Sean Payton that is trying
to get RJ. Harvey involved as much as he can,

(23:36):
but if it's not going to work, then he's just
going to pivot the JK and hand him the ball
like twenty times like he did yesterday.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
I mean, this is undoubtedly JK. Dobbins backfield. Yeah, yeah,
it's not even a question right now. It's who's fighting
for those second opportunities, and I guess to.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Your point, Harvey is kind of getting them.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
But it's still a little bit disconcerting to see that
Bedet is playing more snaps.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I think gamescript dependent because last week when they had
a huge lead, it was RJ. Harvey getting a ton
and I know that was a blowout and stuff like that,
But then this week they're in ketchup mode the whole time,
and Hayton clearly trust Baby in pass protection more than
he does Harvey, So I think that had a lot
to do with it. And I don't know who they
get next week. Offhand, but like, I don't see the

(24:20):
Broncos being down two plus scores more weeks than not.
I'm not saying trust RJ. Harvey, but I'm still holding
him on some benches because also if JK, like I know,
we don't wish for injuries, but if something happens to JK,
it's r. J. Harvey that is going to become the
lead back.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
You gotta think so, you gotta think so. By the way,
the Broncos are in London next week. They're playing the Jets,
so that's another early start.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
Oh yeah, that's gonna be an RJ. Harvey game because
they're gonna have like a three score lead. Did you
say the gets like Jackson? Like you said the gets,
I was.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Like, wow, Ugh Man, Okay, last one for WTF Florio
Taysom Hill.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
That's it. That's it. That's the tweet.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
Like like he came in, he threw a pass, he
had some carries, he only ran one route. But you
Juwan Johnson managers be ready because he is going to
like it. It's so wild to me because like Taysom
Hills started out as a thing that was like okay,
Sean Payton's trying to force Taysom Hill on us, and
then he gave him that contract, and the City of

(25:30):
New Orleans was like, we don't care who the coaches,
we need to get Taysom Hill. Like this is his
third or fourth play caller, still designing touches for Taysom.
I don't think Taysum is going to see enough work
to be fantasy relevant. I just think he's going to
wreak havoc on everyone else's fantasy days.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
I mean, look, there's gonna be some time when they're
like inside the five yard line and you started Alvin
Kamara or Juwan Johnson or somebody like that, and it's
gonna be a little you know, a rex snap to
tay some Hill and he's gonna run it in and
then you're gonna be saying naughty words at your television
Like that's what's going to happen.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Speaking of players, I'd be trying to trade based on name.
Alvin Kamara, come on down, like I am worried about him.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Yeah, I just it's almost like Spencer Ratler's is not
aware that he can throw the ball to Alvin Kamara,
Like he doesn't want to that is a legal play,
Like you can actually do that, Spencer. It's not a
big deal.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
But Spence is playing good without doing that. Like I'm
looking at Spence go out there and kind of have
the confidence that we all know he holds. But like
he's playing okay football. He is making the Saints, as
I said before, with the Browns one of the most
scrappiest teams in the NFL, Like you do not want
to get in a bar fight with this team because
they're going to be scrappy and they're going to keep fighting.

(26:46):
So I like Spence man.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah, I was looking up Spencer rattlers numbers before the
game last week.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
They're not good. They're better than what it's expected. Sure, sure,
I'll give you that.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
That's that was what I landed on. They are says
he is in most categories. He's slightly below league average
and everything. But I think because our expectations for the Saints.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Were below the floor, you're like, oh, all right, he's
playing okay.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
But like he's not helping any Like I know Rashicha
Heat had a big game this past week, but like
Chris Olave is getting a ton of targets, but he's
outside the top forty in yards, like he's he's not
really helping us for fantasy, which is what I care about,
because I don't care about the Saints. Even Jawan Johnson
hasn't been useful the last two weeks. He's been banked

(27:39):
up and that's fine, and some of the matchups are
hard obviously for a bad Saints offense, but Spence is
keeping them afloat. When Juwan Johnson was like playing well
those first three weeks, the only player that had as
many targets in fewer yards was chrys Olave Like it's
it's a it's a pure catch thing in a PPR world.
That's that's what Juwan Johnson and is given us. He

(28:01):
gets the yeah, he guess. The red zone looks tight end.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
The bar is low for what we expect out of
a top twelve, top fifteen tight end, and Jawan Johnson
for the most part, has met that so far this year.
Let's talk some rookies here, looking at some of the
notable rookies from Week five and starting with Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
In that game in London, I've.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
The Browns lose a close one fantasy wise. Gabriel one
hundred and ninety passing yards, two touchdowns, five rushing yards,
sixteen point one fantasy points. I went back and watched it.
It wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. Look the thing the
thing I did like about Dylan Gabriels he is not
afraid of a tight window throw like he will he
will try to fit it in there. If there's a

(28:45):
defender draped on a guy, he does not care. And
so like that part is sort of fun interesting. It
also means that a three interception game is coming.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
He's got the arm for that, you know what, He's got.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
The mine for it.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
But right that is that is sort of the thing
is that like I think in his head it's like
I can do this and it you know, it's it's
gonna sort of turn out like like you know, the
Carlson gift with even like you know, throwing the basketball
up and like pumping his fist like it's gonna.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
There's gonna be some of those als.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
The other thing I learned abou Dylan Gabriel is that
he is we He's a wee little man. I noticed
I saw him after the game. If you saw he
did like a handshake with Carson Wentz and like Carson
went to six five, so he's a tall dude, but
it looked like big brother, little brother sort of thing
in the hilarious Yeah, he's listed at five to eleven.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
He is not a tall man bying to stretch of
the imagination.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
But that's either here nor there. The point I was
really trying to get to is Lakwan. Last week we
saw Jackson Dark do things and we're like, hey, man,
you got to go pick him up. After seeing Gillan
Dylan Gabriel do thing Gilan Gabriel, Dylan Gabriel do things,
is he worth an ad for fantasy managers.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Listen, if you have to hit the wire for a
quarterback at this point, you're not half be about the
decisions you've have made at quarterback previously, or you're just
dealing with injuries like everybody else. But like, I don't
see him having a safe floor. The schedule looks nasty
in the next three games. I do feel like thirty
nine percent of his pass is going to the tight
end unit. Doesn't help our wide receivers. I mean, Isaiah

(30:15):
Bond looks to be great. I mean he's leading them
the wide receivers and receiving yards in the last three games.
So it's like guys are suffering. He is going to
be dependent on a great run game with Quinn Shawn Jenkins,
who was bawling out of his mind right.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Now, and the tight end position.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Looks great, man, he goes he looks great.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yeah, and like the tight end position seems to be
his crutch of what he's going to be leaning on.
Like I said it last week, guys, I think davidn
Djoku might be back, and here we are. I think
Harrow fan and Junior still plays a part in that
creativity that they want on offense, so he remains a factor.
Thirty nine percent was the target share for that tight
end unit yesterday, I mean last week. So it's like
one of those things of like that's going to be

(30:54):
his crutch and then they're just going to hand the
ball off twenty times a game to quin Shawn Jenkins.
So I don't see him having like a high end
QB two range or anywhere near a QB one that
you have in starting lineups. But if you're picking them up,
what do you have to lose? So your record probably
reflects your decision making right now, that's probably.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Fair for sure.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Side notes of this Jerry Judy is he's we decide
he's just a guy, right, Like, we're not trying to
make Jerry Judy a thing anymore.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
That Winston Dorsey stretch was really fun, but it was
very manufactured.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah yeah, I mean yeah, Jameis Winston throwing yolo balls.
You had the Browns really with no other legitimate pass
it was. It was Jerry Judy and David and Joku.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
That was it.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Since then they're kind of forcing Isaiah Bond on us
too in the way, but he's not catching anything, like
he's not doing like anything, but he's getting the volume.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
So it's like, what are we doing. I think better
days are ahead for him. I liked him as a prospect.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Yeah, I mean I think it's I think it's limited.
I mean, I think the floor is low. I think
I don't think the ceiling is particularly high either, And
that I mostly a function of the Browns offense more
than anything else. Jackson Dart, one week after his surprise
win over the LA Chargers, comes back the next week
against the Saints. Two hundred and two passing yards, two touchdowns,

(32:14):
two picks, fifty five rushing yards yay fumbled boo, fifteen
point five eight fantasy points. You I think, of all
of us Florida, maybe the biggest Jackson dart stand after
the first week.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
How are you feeling after Week two? Very good.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
I know the turnovers weren't ideal at all, but there's
gonna be growing pains. I don't think you should bank
on three turnovers becoming the norm. And the one of
the interceptions was rough, but that could be coached out.
And it's a young player. Stuff like that. What I
care about. He's running another fifty or more rushing yards
for a second consecutive game in the Super Bowl era.

(32:52):
He is the fourth quarterback to run for fifty or
more yards in his first two starts. The other three
are Randall Cunningham, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts. I don't
care how it looks on the field if it gets
fantasy points. It's what I keep saying about justin Fields. Yeah,
it's good, Like, don't watch justin fields if you have
an uneasy stomach. It's going to look bad. But at

(33:14):
the end of the day, he is going to give
you fantasy points. He is the only Him and Lamar
are the only ones with twenty five plus. Now, I
know this is a Jackson Dart thing, but he can run,
and he is on a team that more often than
not is going to be trailing, so I expect him
to have to throw the ball a lot more. Obviously,
wish Milik Nighbors was still out there to have that
number one option, but I still think Dart, if he's

(33:37):
out there on your waivers, I don't think there's another
quarterback out there who has more upside because for most quarterbacks,
a three turnover game is single digit fantasy points. For him,
it was sixteen fantasy points. Like, that's showing you that
the floor is pretty safe. And I think if he
didn't have those turnovers, you're talking about him a seating twenty.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Again.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
I know we can't just take them away, but like,
the rushing is going to give him enough upside where
he is going to be fantasy relevant moving forward.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
When you listed off the three other quarterbacks with fifty
plus rushing yeards, I thought for sure Cam Newton was
going to be one of those guys.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, I'm surprised he wasn't. Although I will say that
this about Dart, I'm sitting him this week in a
short week against the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, I think that makes sense for sure.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Again, but if you were in the position that you
have to start Dylan Gabriel or Jackson Dark, just chalk
it up.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Your season's over. You're just having fun. You're just having
fun at this point. But I do feel like Dart
will have those spike weeks of course, but I'm still
not happy about what he's doing as a passer, like
that will give him the edge for me to be like,
oh yeah, I could start this guy, and like if
I have, like Daniel Jones is starting to be Danie
Jones and have that streak of where he's doing like

(34:50):
low ing QB two numbers, then I could swap in Dart.
But no, not right now. I just feel real nasty
about the whole Dart situation because the wide receivers are suffering.
But shout out Dan Bellinger and Theo Johnson go pick
them up off the waivers because it may be their
season for the rest of the season.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Uh yeah, THEO Johnson, Like, do we do we get
any word? Is he bringing donuts for Jackson darr They
having breakfast and breakfast together.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Apparently they've been making best friends like bracelets and stuff like,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Know, cool.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
Man, he's got that like that, New York will love him,
like as bad as he probably will be.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
I think New York will still accept him because he
comes with orange swag. Why is he gonna be bad
because you get a bad game. But like, I mean,
the first half he hit a bad half. The first
half he was electric, Like I can't wait to see
Jackson darr in his second team, Like I can't wait
to see what he does.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Already, we've we've already moved him on to another roster. No,
I'm just being honest. I mean honestly, Look you, I
mean Sam darn get Sam.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Donald vibes out of him? Is that what we're doing
right now? Sam Donald?

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Look, man, Robbie Anderson, I mean chosen. Anderson left New
York and put up a thousand yards in Carolina. I
mean it's possible. It's one bad half.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Wait, we're how did Robbie Chosen make it to the
show today? What is that?

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Because when you leave New York you do great things.
I don't know, there's there's a lot of Robbie Chose's
best days are in New York.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
There's a lot of aura on this team.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Between between Jackson Dart and Cam Scattaboo, there's a lot
of aura on this team.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
I don't know if camp Scattaboo will last long enough
to be there when the Giants get good, because my god,
does he seek out as much contact as possible every time.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Yeah, if you go on social media and you just
do a search for camp Scataboo runs like you'll get
a lot of really funny posts popping up, so that
that'll be interesting.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
I'll speaking of rookie running backs, what he marks? We
were all excited about him.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
He was getting all this opportunity in Houston. Then he
had twenty four rushing yards. Now he did play the
most snaps of anybody in that backfield, but didn't really
get a lot to show for it. So one did
we did we jump the gun? Or can we tell
ourselves this is like a game script thing and they
were saving him. I mean, I don't know, how do
you feel now we jumped the gun. We can't trust

(37:05):
this backfield. We can't trust the Texans. Look how they
handled the Joe Mixon situation.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
What are we doing here?

Speaker 3 (37:10):
How do you go from twenty one touches to seven
and your last touch is in the third quarter when
you guys are blowing them out, Like, I don't understand.
If you want to get the rooky reps and take
over the Joe Mixon rule to be the RB one,
you should be playing him as much as possible so
he can get these reps even on a bad defense.
So to me, this was just a spit in our face, like, oh,

(37:31):
you must have heard the fancy Street Turby about Woody
Marx and how much we love him to mark demiico,
Like what are we doing? Like at the end of
the day, how I look at this. I only started
Woody Marks because I had Swift on By, I had Bijean,
you know, I had Josh Jacobs, Like I had to
make these moves moving forward, Like I don't know if
I can trust this backfield, like I do feel like
his best days are probably gonna happen on my bench

(37:54):
because I can't bully somebody into my lineup. When again,
we're not looking for Woody marks on the ground, we're
looking for the passing options that he I mean, the
PPR upside that he brings, like on the ground, this
old line of Swiss cheese.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
I mean c J.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Stroud, he's playing a little bit better against batter defenses,
but that old line is still trash at the end
of the day. So like for me to see what
he Mark's coming out for Nick Chubb and then Damian
Pierce getting burt, what are we doing? That's real disgusting
for a rookie to do. So, yeah, this was just
a spit in the face in the fantasy streets. Thanks
do we go right? Please don't don't go to the
dark side.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
Don't don't go down the Sean Payton uh you know,
Mike Rabel, Mike Shift, don't go down.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
Just don't do it.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Don't do it.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
Come on, bro, you're supposed to be Come on, man.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Come on. We appreciate you, Dimiko. Please don't don't do
this to us.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
There's also no rhyme or reason right because like I was,
like Week four, they were they it was a blowout
and we got a lot of Woody marks. Week five
blowout and it's all Nick Chubb like it. It doesn't
make it like what And like we as fantasy analysts,
we went out there and followed the tea leaves like okay,
game where he gets over fifty percent literally split with Chubb.

(39:03):
The following game he explodes as the RB one, and
then this week it's like, nah, he's a practice squad guy,
and I don't worry about it, like.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
You'll be doing so weird, no idea. One last one.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
Mason Taylor for the Jets nine catches sixty seven yards,
had a two point conversion, seventeen point seven Fantasy points floya.
I came into the season with Mason Taylor's kind of
a deep sleeper, you know, end of draft, kind of
dart throw guy with upside. Because the Jets, certainly in
my lifetime, have never really had a relevant fantasy tight end.
Is it time that we maybe start showing Mason Taylor

(39:35):
a little bit of love?

Speaker 4 (39:37):
One thousand percent. I don't even think it's just like, oh,
pick him up. I think it's picked him up and
starting because I was, Look, I know, not many people
were locked into that Jets game yesterday. I was very
locked into that even throughout the fourth quarter. As someone
who has justin fields on so many fantasy teams. Everything
like it was just constant Mason Taylor underneath, Mason Taylor underneath,

(40:00):
And I know it's easy. People are like, oh, well,
it happens in garbage time. The Jets are going to
be in garbage time more often than not, like it does.
If it's a close game, we've seen fields produced. If
it's a garbage time game, we've seen him produce. And
what that usually means is a lot of just throwing.
And they have one option who could win downfield. It's

(40:20):
Garrett Wilson, and defenses know that, so they overload him
and then you just get Mason Taylor running free underneath.
And he's doing exactly what I thought he would do
when I watched him as a prospect. It's like he
will take what the defense gives him and gets you
nothing more. And that's exactly what he's doing. But it's
moving the chains and people on the curtain. I have
him as a start and start him, sit him this week.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
All right, Yeah, I mean, look, I thought there was
something there. Look, we know rookie tight ends aside from
a handful, right, it does take them a little bit
of time to sort of get involved and be productive.
Not everybody's gonna be Rock Bowers or Sam Laporta or
anything like that, but Mason Taylor seems like he has
an opportunity, especially on a team that beyond Garrett Wilson,

(41:03):
there are no other real pass catches. I know they
get it's to Breeze Hall, but they don't have any
other guys really to throw the football too besides Garrett
Wilson right now, Rynolds Tyler Johnson, like I have a
ton of Mason Taylor in basketball leagues.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Like over summer, I was the smash mass matches my
tight end too, So I'm.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
Happy about that.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
But I knew it'll take like some type of ramp
up here, like it'll have to be patient because again
justin fields.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
So we'll see, but there's definitely been signed, especially the
last couple of weeks. I think back to back weeks
with double digit PPR points for Mason Taylor, so very
much in the conversation.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Well, we are not done.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
We're gonna talk some waiver wire picks when we come back,
and the.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
Quan has a special poetry moment coming up. Stick around
for more of the NFL Fantasy Football Show.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
So as we get ready to dive into Week six,
we're gonna put Week five behind us at this point,
so I'm looking ahead two week six.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
We're obviously talking about.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Injuries, guys, who underperformed, which means another trip to the
waiver wires of Florida. You put together list who should
folks be keeping an eye out for.

Speaker 4 (42:07):
I think Jackson Dart, We spoke about him. He's in place.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
C J.

Speaker 4 (42:10):
Stroud, I knows on Bay this week, but coming off
of his two best games and over a year, Sam
Darnold looking more and more comfortable and just putting up
numbers right now with Seattle, Rico'dowdell. I know Chuba Hubbard
could be back, but how could you ignore Rico with
what he did. I think he might see some work
even when Cuba returns. Kamani Videll got a monitor that

(42:33):
Hampton situation, Michael Carter and de Mercado. I'd even add
Beam Knight into that, like it's gross, but they're getting touches.
Michael Carter obviously being the top dog there, Candre Miller,
Keaton Mitchell just because if anything happens to Derrick Henry,
I think Keaton Mitchell has like RB one upside if
Lamar Jackson is there. And then Taj Spears returned this week.

(42:55):
Not a great week at wide receiver, but Josh Downs
had eight targets. Isaiah Bond was the number two target
for the Browns. Rashid Shahid we know what he is,
but he does bring upside. Christian Kirk had a long
catch and starting to get more involved there, Kendrick Bourne
just because how can we ignore what he did? And
then Ryan Floorinoyd like this could be a one week thing,
but he had nine targets and then at tight End

(43:18):
already spoke about Taylor. Aj Barner had a huge day
this week. Theo Johnson had two touchdowns and Daln Schultz
don't look now, but he's he is low key becoming
a safe floor not much upside tight End.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Ops, you mentioned Rico Dowdell and you know, I don't
know if you saw his comment to the Cowboys after
the game yesterday.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
He told the Cowboys to buckle up.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
Yeah he talking Spike you.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
I mean, you're right.

Speaker 1 (43:44):
You run for two bills in a game and you
see what that Cowboy defense looks like. And this really
is a revenge game because the Cowboys decided to move
on from him and he ends up in Carolina. So yeah,
we'll see, we'll see what what he does.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
But he's he's.

Speaker 4 (43:58):
Fired up him and Shavante got the same contract, so
like it's not like they went cheaper or anything. They
just chose someone else.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:07):
Yeah, so Javonte's bawling now he is. He's playing great.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
So yeah, anyway, more waiverwire stuff.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
You always go to NFL dot com slash waiver wire
to get some more information on things about that. So
it is time and man, look the wager was made.
The forty nine ers were victorious on Thursday night, and
so I'm very curious about your look man, you were
you were a rapper once upon a time. You know,
they're still apparently YouTube videos of floating around of you

(44:36):
out there, you know, dropping bars. So I'm very curious
about your your ode to the San Francisco forty nine ers.
Why I give you the floor.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Don't smile doing this at all, Like I don't want
you to find no joy in this. And like I
will say, I wrote this very fresh after the game,
like Amazon was still doing their posting it and like
I'm just in my notes just having a lot of
anger and passion going into this. But I think I
came out with something good.

Speaker 1 (45:04):
This is before you you made that Emo TikTok video
of you stand out so far, Yes, five o'clock in
the morning or whatever it was, right, it was before that,
It was before that.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
I really don't want to do this, Like I hope
this isn't good, Like.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
I was, like, I need to read a poem on
the show.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
But it's the context that I have to say something
about y'all, like I do not like y'all at all,
Like it is what it is.

Speaker 4 (45:28):
But I am a man of my word. I will
do it. So let's get started, all right.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
In the clash of rival foes, beneath the glaring light,
a warrior rose, fierce, igniting hope. In the fight, mister Jones,
the steadfast guy, through chaos, endless night, stoic, mass in place, emotionless.
In the post game, in the veins that wildfire surgis,
mister Jones, unbound, untamed, conquering the shadows and random pages.

(46:02):
The rest is earned from blows that thunder fierce. In
the wake, the core stands uncracked. These scars will fade
victory say his name.

Speaker 1 (46:18):
I thought that was well done. That was well done,
very poetic, Very don't a lot of good imagery there,
thought I thought it was. I thought it was a
well written poem.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (46:30):
That was draft number three.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
The first two were not appropriate.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
It was a lot of anger.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
That's for the end of the pay per view show.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
I really thought it was just gonna be all Kiren
bashing and then like.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Yeah, I know, I'm proud of you. That was well done.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
That was homage to mister mac Jones.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
Joe. He earned it. He earned it for sure, So
thank you.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
Some would say.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
That poem maybe inspired and could be just talking about
myself the entire time, but I would just let that go.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Yeah, I'm not. I'm think anybody's buying that one. So anyway,
here's the now. I mean, I know they play one more.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
Time and in a few more weeks up in the
Santa Clara Week ten.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
I'm like, obviously I want the Niners to win.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
But the fact that you know they already that they
came to Levi's South and.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
Gotta win, that that already warms my heart.

Speaker 7 (47:30):
So you're gonna say that to you know what, Thank
you forty nine Ers frans showing up to a ram stadium,
paying the bills and keeping us running because our stadium
looked ten times better than what the heck you guys
got up there, which is not in San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
It's funny. You just you just you basically just made
yourself the Chargers.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
Loo, we don't even acknowledge them. The Chargers are like
the Bobcats of the NFL.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
You were just amazing.

Speaker 1 (47:52):
You're like, hey, thanks for You're like, thanks for coming
to our stadium and filling it up, because otherwise, you know,
I don't know if we'd have filled all the sea
were you just made yourself the Chargers. So congrats on that.

Speaker 3 (48:00):
Who wants to go to SOFI to watch the game
with forty nine Ers fans? Like it's not an enjoyable experience?
Like have you been to the one of those games?
Like it's not great? I have actually and I had
a great time.

Speaker 4 (48:12):
Yeah, of course because you were part of the toxic party.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
I just came back and won a week seventeen game.

Speaker 1 (48:18):
You know, at the end, it was it was a
really great experience, and I was able to share it.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
About some people wearing red and gold. It was it
was a wonderful day.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
This is how I know you guys aren't great fans
because the first thing you guys say, oh you you
when you lost to a practice squad, you lost to JVS,
Like that's the product that you think went out there,
Like there is no credit given to your coach, Kyle Shanahan,
Like we have to give him his flowers for him
to even get guys off the street, off the couch,
guys that have been on practice squads everywhere else in
the league.

Speaker 4 (48:47):
You told me, you told.

Speaker 1 (48:48):
Me before the game that if they were losing a halftime,
Sean McVay should be fired.

Speaker 4 (48:52):
I was gonna say, who should they hire as their
new coach?

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Who's on the short list for Stan Cronkey right now?

Speaker 3 (48:57):
No comment anyway, moving on, Give it's to Kyle Shanahan, man,
because for.

Speaker 7 (49:02):
To be able to take his system and for guys
to play it at the highest.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
Level, you got to give them credit. And that's my
birthday twin, you know, Like I always respect Kyle Shannon.

Speaker 4 (49:12):
I just don't.

Speaker 8 (49:12):
Respect Shanahan and his nightmare. No, listen, I have my
own anger. It's not even at forty nine ers this week.
It's not even at them. It's just we're on to
the next All my anger is pinned in house. I
have my issues with McVeigh and obviously my issues with Kiren,
but I will save that for off air conversations because
you're not appropriate.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
That feels like a good way for us to butt
this episode. It's been it's been a fun episode.

Speaker 1 (49:40):
Honestly, I want to say since Thursday night, I've kind
of been looking forward to this episode today.

Speaker 4 (49:44):
So yeah, twisted the knife, buddy, it was.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
It was every chob. I'm done now right. You know
we're on.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
We're on to the next you know, it's onto a
really tough matchup this week in Tampa.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
It's that's not gonna be easy. So I've moved on.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
I got what I needed out of this exchange. I
am fulfilled, my soul is at peace, and I move
on to week six.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
So there we go.

Speaker 1 (50:05):
I anyway, meantime, I'll do it for this edition of the
NFL Fantasy for both podcasts.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
Stay happy, Saved, Helvy, do good, and live well.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
Enjoy poetry, everybody, and we will talk to you again
on Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (50:16):
Wow.
