Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, everybody, It's Monday, October thirteenth, twenty twenty five. Welcome
to the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast, where we just want
to play the rest of the season with injuries off.
It's me your man, MG Marcus Grant, joined by Michael

(00:21):
Florio and Lakwan Jones.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
How are we feeling LQ on this Monday?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Gloomy? Just like the weather here in La.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
I mean, honestly, our producer, Man Kyrie, goes all we
up to Seattle and brings the gloom here man. And
I'm not happy about this Rams win, Like I got
to be honest, Like we got the w but that
game would have been totally different. Snow Huntley was in
at the first quarter and played all full quarters. Like
I'm not happy right now. So my mood matches the
weather here in La.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
All right.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
I mean, maybe we'll open up some space if you
want to, just like rant a little bit, get some
off your chest.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I did a TikTok this morning. It's up, it's uploaded.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I'm good.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I got it all aired out. Has LQ showed up
after a Rams win this year and been happy. I
don't think that's happened yet.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
No, No, I'm we go through and let look because
like I don't, uh, it's too many games.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Houston was the last game. I was like, Okay, that
was weird, right, but we're gonna get it together.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
It'll get right.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
And then okay after the Titans. After the Titans game
in week two.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I mean, okay, Tony Pollin had some high yardage there.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I didn't like that.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I mean, honestly, it's the Titans, so that's like we
should have blown them out of the water. And this
Ravens game, what are we doing? Like, I'm just gonna
stop right now because this can become something that could
be a thirty minute episode of Just the Rams. So
I'm going to save it from my pod.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So all right, back off.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Now, but go to the clock app, go to the
TikTok if you want to see some of the quant's
thoughts about what happened on Sunday against the Ravens. Flora.
How about you, I mean, your your team plays tonight,
so how are you feeling about that?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
I feel good? I do. Do you think the Falcons
are a tough matchup their strength or the Bills weaknesses
kind of thing? I do think people are getting way
too like, the Patriots beat the Bills, and now suddenly
the Bills are very vulnerable and the Patriots are the
team to beat. So I think this is an opportunity
for the Bills to remind everyone who they are. But
we're about to do news, and I have all three

(02:19):
of the players that we are doing injury leaders in
multiple starting lineups this week. So it was a good
week for like stardom sentiment stuff my calls, but it
was a rough week for some of my fantasies.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah, we will dive into a whole bunch of things.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
We got real mirage.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We have some backfields to talk about that are kind
of confusing.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
We look at the waiver.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Wiring guys to add and some guys to drop as well.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
But as Florio mentioned, we.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Do have some news headlines, all three involving wide receivers,
all three involving injuries. I will start with the Rams
Pooka Nakua dealing with an ankle injury. The original report
is that he was uncertain for Week seven, and I
guess it's still sort of that way, although it's looking
a lot more likely that he is not going to
play when the Rams go to London to take on

(03:05):
the Jaguars coming up this week.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
So I mean, Lakwan, look, you.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Watch this team closer than the rest of us. We
know DeVante Adams is going to get plenty of targets.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
He is not if he's available on your waiver wire,
can I be in your league?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
We know he's not available, So taking him out of
the equation, which rams receiver should folks maybe make a
run at on waivers.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
It has to be Jordan Winnington. He's the wide receiver three.
Like when you see Pooka lined up, when you see Adams,
you will always see Jordan Winnington. So I do feel
like when you go back to last season, go back
to that Packer game where he had a ton of targets,
he had ten targets, and he was able to find
ways to make big plays and Stafford look comfortable with him.
So when it comes to reliability, I mean, he has
a higher catch rate than Devonte Adams right now. I mean, look,

(03:51):
I don't know, I don't know what's going on with Adams.
He's supposed to be catching these balls that we are
supposed to be paying him this money to do. And
I honestly think the Stafford connection between him. It's going
to be sketchy going forward because it hasn't been on
par and I think Jordan Winnington gives Stafford that security
blank here. We're two two's on the way back, so
we'll get bigger, big plays down the field. The Xavier Smith, Canante, Mumfield.

(04:16):
These are all guys that we have depbat and I
say all this to say that Puka should not be
playing in London. Pukas should be here in La rehabbing.
We got the buye after this week, let him sit
for two weeks. I know this sounds terrible for fantasy managers,
but I'm looking for the bigger picture here, like we're
going to want Pooka in the fantasy playoffs, and as
a RAMS fan, I obviously want him on the back

(04:38):
end of the season as well. So I think Jordan
Winnington will fill that gap that Pooka may leave on
the table for him.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I do have a strong sense that he's not going
to play this week, because as you mentioned, they have
the buy in week eight, so why not give him
a couple of weeks to rest up, get that ankle right,
and then be ready to go for the back part
of the season. I used to had him think it's
it's it is. I know he had a couple of
drops yesterday. But also you know when I was watching,
there were a few times where Stafford just missed him,

(05:07):
was just high or overthrew him.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Chemistry, the timing, it's not there, Like it's almost to
the point. Like you have to remember Stafford didn't practice
with him all summer. So now they're playing ketchup to
kind of get on the same page. But it's costing us.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
It's also six weeks in man, Like he kind of put.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Too much air on that throat to Pooka too. That
led to Pooka getting hurt, Like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
You got to give a shot, man, you you know
you're a demon. You got Look the catch radius is
not cap he the sky's the limit for him.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
So I'm not worried about that. No, I get that.
But just Stafford wasn't sharp yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
That he just was off yesterday. Yeah, I mean, it's
not an indictment on Stafford. He just kind of had
a bad day. I think it's kind of all there
was to it yesterday. But yeah, the Raven's kind of
a mess, so they could still get to win. I'm
down in Tampa and like Abuka left the game for
the Bucks with a hamstring injury. Now the Bucks one
on the strength of Johnson and Johnson, Tes Johnson and Cameron.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
The Jets have yet to do that.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
The Jets have yet to do that right exactly. So
I obviously we're still waiting for more updates on Abuka
and what his long term prognosis is going to be.
But in the short term, Florio, if you are looking
there in Tampa, Sterling Shephard, Tess Johnson, Cameron Johnson, any
of those guys you know make up movies. By the way,
I should also add it does look unlikely that Chris

(06:32):
Godwin is going to play as well in week seven,
so you know, you will see what Mike Evans's situation is,
but possibly know Godwin, maybe no Abuka.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Where do you go for pass catching help in Tampa?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
I think it depends on Mike Evans, right because he
has been nearing a return. If he's out again next week,
I do think the Johnson's become a little bit more
viable for fantasy if he plays, though he's going to
be the out wide wide receiver, I would expect he
would get a lot of the downfield targets, but that
would leave Sterling Shepherd in the slot, which is why
Sterling Shepard is the name that I'm most attracted to

(07:08):
of these three. But I will say, if Mike Evans
is out next week, Cameron Johnson has my attention because
tees Johnson played more snaps, but he was purely like
a downfield threat. And the funniest moment I think in
this week in the NFL was Ted Johnson explaining after
the game that after his long touchdown catch, he thought
the MVP chants were for him and Sterling Shepherd had

(07:30):
to be like, no there for Baker Mayfield. If you
haven't seen the video, please go watch it. It is amazing.
But Cam Johnson, he had four targets on eleven routes yesterday.
One was behind the line of scrimmage like a screen,
one was short, one was intermedia, and one was deep.
So they're using him all over the field, and I
think if Evans is out this week, we'll see more
Johnson on the field. There's deep shots there. They would

(07:53):
both be more like a deeper option with only two
teams on bye. But m Vy Baker is playing at
such a high level right now that if you could
get pieces tied to him in a deeper league or
something like that, I'm interested.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
I mean, he's playing phenomenal football right now.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Look goodie and.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yesterday and did it without you for a good stretch
of the game without his top three receivers. So he
is absolutely locked in for sure. By the way, a
report from our own Ian Rappaport suggesting that the Bucks
are hopeful that Mike Evans will be back this week,
so hopefully Baker can get one of his weapons back

(08:31):
coming in four weeks seven in Tennessee, Calvin Ridley dealing
with a hamstring injury much like Abuka is, and he
left in the Titans lost to the Raiders. I mean, Lakwan,
I know, we have sort of been trying, at least,
you know, early in the season, we're trying to pump
up Elec iomanor. I feel like that's sort of quieted
down the last couple of weeks. Is there any other

(08:53):
Titans receivers that interest you? I mean, are we trying
to tell a story about Tyler Lockett anybody else there.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
That you have any interest in?

Speaker 4 (09:01):
I mean, if I put my rams hat on, I'm
gonna say Van Jefferson. But I'm not gonna get up
here and hype him up to be like a reliable,
you know, fantasy asset or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
But I do feel like, you know, e, look, Iomanner is.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
A project, Like we're gonna have to wait for this
offense to get on track. I mean, last week they
had their highest yards per play of the season, and
then now they're back to under four yards per play,
so it's like they're still trying to figure things out.
And I don't think some managers who desperately need these
wide receivers that are staring at a donut in six
and I'm thinking folks that are panicking. He's not the

(09:36):
guy that can be on my roster right now. If
I'm seeing more options on the waiver wire, if I'm
seeing better options to help me at other debt positions,
I think, honestly, if you are down that bad in
sixteen man leagues, Van Jefferson, sure he showed them last week,
but I don't see myself putting them in my starting
lineup and saying, hey, I feel good about this weekend
coming out with a W with my wide receivers being

(09:58):
down to Van Jefferson with all these injuries.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Yeah, it's just it's such a mess right now.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
I think when we get back to the end of
the season, we will look back and the Cardinals losing
that game to the Titans might be the worst loss for.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Any individual the NFL schedule this year.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
There's still more time the Cardinals could do it again.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
There's certainly more time.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
But man, I'm just not just losing to thin the
winless Titans, but having a multiple score lead and having
that game get away and just the most ridiculous ways
possible that one's gonna that one's gonna hurt for a while.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
While we're on the Cardinals, real quick, shout out to
my guy, Jacobe Brissett doing something that. Let's come, one
hundred and twenty yards two touchdowns. Kyler's done that once
in the last three seasons, So shout out to talk
about it.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, Man, I actually had the I had the the
screenshot from the Jacoby Brissette having that insurance commercial. He's
like the backup or whatever. I had that all locked
and live. He was able to throw that touchdown pass
to win it at the end. I was putting that
out there, so I guess, I guess Kyler's job is
still safe ish, but.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
This year after that, it's time to have that conversation
about Kyler. I mean, before I thought I was a hater,
I was just being serious.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I think we keep wishing things for Kyler that maybe
just aren't going to happen.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Again.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
He's running, but there's just no pass.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
There's no I mean, I don't think he has two
hundred and twenty five yards in a game yet this
year it's just not.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
I'll say that's the best I've seen Drew Petsing's offense
in a very long time.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
The problem for the Cardinals is one. I mean, obviously,
Jacoby Brissett's not the answer. We know he's not going
to be the.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Guy that type of down the hill. Though that he
is a top thirty two quarterback walking the planet. Yeah,
of course, let's go.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
I'm not gonna.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Argue that, but I just wonder will they get a
high enough dres have picked to actually get their shot
at a quarterback who's going to matter. I mean, they've
got two wins already, they'll win a handful of more games.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Oh no, Mac Jones, man, and you're looking good next year?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Man, And you think that Jones. You think Matt goes
down to the desert, why not?

Speaker 3 (12:15):
He could turn it around.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Somebody's gonna pay Mac Jones a lot of money.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
I know Mac can get it to Marvin Harrison Junior
and still support Terrey McBrien.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Somebody's gonna pay Mac. Somebody's gonna pay Mack a lot
of money.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
And maybe it is the Cardinals. Maybe it is the Cardinals.
So we'll see.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Just getting into the show today, we'll take a break,
come back. We got some real or mirages, including Rico
Dowdell who told the Cowboys they should have practiced should
have practiced automotive safety and apparently they didn't listen, and
we see how that goes. Also the backfield report, because
a lot of running backs getting work in a lot.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Of places, and frankly, I don't like it. So we'll
talk about that and some more coming up on the
NFL Fantasy Football Podcast.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Decided to do a little bit of real mirage after
what we saw in Week six, especially the Sunday games,
and a few guys here. First off, Rico dowdle Florio
two hundred or more scrimmage yards in consecutive games. I
believe I saw he is maybe the first undrafted player
to ever do that. I believe is what it is.

(13:19):
But either way, fantastic, fantastic work for Rico Dowdle.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Apparently he's our.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
New running back king over the last couple of weeks.
After last week's game against the Dolphins, he told the
Cowboys to buckle up, and then after he ran over,
around and through them, he said they didn't buckle up.
So shout out to Rico for backing up his trash talk.
But real mirage and like, I'm not I'm not saying

(13:45):
two hundred scrimmage yards every week, but in terms of
being a productive back in maybe pushing Trueba Hubbard, Like
is this real or is this a mirage?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
This is real? And I wish that I could reach
a level of petty at Rico Dowdle, like he might
be my new favorite player in the end. So the
fact that he said it and then went out and
had the most yards a player has ever had against
their former team in NFL history and then talked about
it after the game like it was amazing. But I

(14:14):
tweeted during the game yesterday, I was like, has he
has Chuba Hubbard been Wally pipped. Laqwan has no idea
who that is. I know, Arcas, that means that you
lose your job because you got hurt and your replacement
played better. And I think that's happened. Like I don't
think Chewba Hubbard completely goes away, But how can you
shy away from Rico Dawdle. At the very least, I

(14:35):
would expect it to be like a fifty to fifty split.
But as of right now, I'm leaning towards Rico because
I had people in my mentions being like, oh, well,
he did it against the two worst run defenses in
the league. Okay, you know how many other players ran
for one hundred and eighty yards in a game this season. Zero.
He's done it twice now, Like what he's doing is
off the charts. You know how many? That would be

(14:56):
the best game of Chuba Hubbard's career, by the way,
So like, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a
split where Rico is like the first and second down back,
Cuba is playing on the passing down something like that.
But if you have Rico right now, I'm not shying
away from starting him moving forward. And if you have
Cuba Hubbard. I think it's okay for him to hit
the bench until we get a little bit more clarity here.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
I mean, so, the good news is, if you have
Rico Dowdell, or if you're looking to pick him up
off the waiver wire, there's definitely some reason to be optimistic.
The bad news is, now, suddenly we go from an
offense where you had one guy who was pretty much
getting all the work. It's now probably two guys that
are splitting the work. I guess the third part of
the sidenta jets next week, which isn't graty.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
I will say, can we say that Trent Green? Because
that's kind of what happened with Trent Green?

Speaker 3 (15:43):
And then Kirk came in.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
I was gonna say no, so I this is an
Adam Rank thing that I will give him full credit for.
He decided years ago we should call it getting Drew
Bloodsoede because Bloodsoe got hurt. Tom Brady came in and
the rest is sort of history.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
But Wally Pip is just like his story.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah, Wally Pip is sort of you know, by the way,
Lakwan the the whole story of Wally Pip. He was
the first baseman for the New York Yankees. He wasn't
feeling great or was hurt. He took a day off.
Lu Garrick took over at first base, and then Luke
Garrick proceeded to play twenty one hundred games in a
row instead of major league record right. Oh God started

(16:23):
record for consecutive games played right after that, and Wally
Pip never got his job back.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
What year is this, like ninety five?

Speaker 3 (16:29):
It was like the thirties, man, this was like, yeah,
lou Garrett Lou gt was like all of this stuff,
like you've never heard of him.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
No.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
I thought there was just like thirty years ago. This
was going to be a plug for Jo. No, this
is like Jesus so much tweeted me that they were like,
Wally Pip is too old for this current generation. From
now on, it's going to be called getting recodoubled. And
I was like, I I liked it. Okay, it can't
be reco doubted. It has to be the name of
the person who got replaced.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Would be getting Chewba Hubbard did the one anyway, I
did not. I didn't think Wally Pipp was gonna make
it to the show today. But here we are quand
Kamani Vidal, and I know we've sort of all kind
of been at some point or other. Kamani Vadal stands.

(17:19):
I will admit that I didn't think much of him.
I sort of suggested that folks stay away from him
this week. I thought maybe Hassan Haskins was going to
get more work instead. But Dal goes for one hundred
and thirty eight scrimmageyards has a touchdown in this one.
You know, we know Marion Hampton out for a few
more games at least, So real mirage Lakwan with the

(17:39):
Kamani Vadal.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
This looks real.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
This looks like it is real deal, because honestly, we've
seen him now two weeks being able to operate and
function behind that banged up O line, so he's able
to thrive in the chaos where Haskins these past two
weeks we haven't seen him having any type of function
or operation in that backfield. So I do think Kamani
Vidal made a statement like, hey, you guys should look

(18:03):
at me to be your workhorse. Like Haskins does an
amazing job on third down, He's kind of the reason
why Lad had that breakaway run. If you watch that clip,
the entire clip, he's upfield and he's blocking. That's really
what I see him for for this offense to have
that balance as a pass blocker to support.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
That old line.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
But when they need an explosive play and they need
that bang that he possesses, like Camani, Vidal is going
to be that guy. And I think he adds to
the passing game as well. Head on the swivel, nasty hands,
foot in the ground, up in the end zone. That's
really his type of game. So I think if they
keep setting him up and putting him in position, there
could still be some balance between this passing game and

(18:40):
run game with him operating as the RB one and
then has Haskins kind of plays that low thirty percent
type of backup.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Any thought Florio that if Vodal plays well, that it
could be him and Hampton in a split when when
Hampton's healthy again.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
I don't want to go that far, Like I had
a lot of people being like it was the Dolphins
and but this is what players are supposed to do
when they get good matchups. Now we got to monitor
it moving forward. I still think when Hampton comes back,
it'll be his gig. Maybe there's a couple of games
where we see it be a split as Hampton kind
of rams back up. But I think come to the
like fantasy playoffs and stuff like that, Hampton will be

(19:20):
the guy. Maybe Thedell sees some work but not enough
to be fantasy relevant. But uh yeah, I have a
lot of Kamani videll. I know a lot of people
were going the Haskins way. I feel great after what
we saw yesterday, the like like Elk was saying, the
more explosive runner, the better pass catching option.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
And again it was a good matchup, granted, but this
is what you're supposed to do in good.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Matchups, right.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I mean I think it like everybody's like, oh, it
was the Dolphins. But if he went out against the
Dolphins and he had like, you know, twenty seven rushing yards,
you'd be like, this guy thinks he can't run against
the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
It can't go both ways.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
You know, either he played well or he didn't play well.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
For playing well, regardless of who the opponent.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Is, how many yards did Haskins have? I just wanted
to many exactly, So.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Outside of Haskins is this might have given the Chargers,
like we heard a lot of rumors that they were
calling teams trying to ask for running backs. Maybe they
feel a little bit more comfortable now with Kamani.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
And for the record, Haskins had fourteen rushing yards and
nine receiving yards, so twenty three twenty three yards for
Hassan Haskins in that game. The Jaguars could not back
up their win against Kansas City. They lose to the
Seattle Seahawks, but a couple of guys had some interesting
days and Florio Brian Thomas eight catches for ninety yards

(20:43):
and a touchdown that was twenty three Fantasy points back
to back games Phil for Thomas now with at least
eighty receiving yards.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
I know.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
We talked to cam Wolf last week. We asked him
if maybe the Jaguars had figured something out. He says
he thinks they have. So for BTJ, what we've seen
the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
I think it's real. Yesterday could have been an absolutely
monstrous game for him. Not only did he finish with
eight catches for ninety yards and a touchdown, he had
a fifty three yard touchdown called back because Traviss Hunter. Yeah,
he pulled a Kadarius Tony and then on top of that,
he had a I don't remember the exact yardage, but
it would have been a first down catch. I think

(21:21):
it was like fifteen to twenty yards. Just clank off
his hands, hit him in the helmet and go incomplete. So,
like the drops, still a little bit of an issue there,
but he could have just absolutely went off yesterday. So
I think BTJ is back to a guy that you
just plug in each week. But while we're on the
Jaguars passing game, I do want to point out I

(21:42):
know it wasn't a big game for Travis Hunter, but
he did lead them in routes and he was the
only other player besides BTJ to see more than five targets. So,
like camp Wolf said last week, starting to try to
implement him more in the passing game, get him going
more downfield. I don't think you could start Hunter until
we see it more consistently. But this to me is

(22:03):
signs of life.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
It is signs of life, and I've noticed it the
last couple of weeks. They're trying to integrate him more
into that passing game.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
I would like to see some more downfield routes.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I mean, he had that big downfield catch last week
against the Chiefs. He did have I think another sort
of downfield route. I don't know if he got targeted
on that one or not, but I think he did
actually it was incomplete. But I'd like to see some
more downfield throws because a lot of the connections seem
to be within like five yards of the line of scrimmage,
and then you're asking him to, you know, make guys
miss or break some tackles, which he can do. But

(22:34):
it's also just a hard way to live on a
consistent basis for pretty much anybody. But it does bring
us to Trevor Lawrence and to interest passing yards Trevor
law Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence. That's not what his birth certificate says.
I'm sure that's not what his mama calls him. So
that's not what I'm gonna call him. Two fifty eight

(22:54):
passing yards, two touchdowns. He's had nineteen or more Fantasy
points in consecutive games. So one Laquon and is this
real or mirage? And also we need a mid o
meter update.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
I'll bring out the middle meter now. I do think
that it's real. I moved it up a slightly, a
tad bit up the notch where it was before he
was here.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Now he is here. He is almost at the.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
Midlawes, He's almost fully the mid now, And like I
don't want to get like I trust Trevor mid Lawrence
right now to where he's getting Brian Thomas Junior and
the Bull, things are starting to look outward.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
I don't know if I can trust this guy yet though.
That's the problem. So like I think if he ends
the season at mid, I'll be okay. But for right now,
things are starting to look up for Trevor mid Lawrence,
like he could be going back up to t law
The cool kids call him that.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
What happens if he gets to like the above mid?
Do you just have to start calling him Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
You have to drop the other part about to say,
if he gets above mid, I'll be highly surprised, but
yes we can go Trevor.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Two questions. If they went in London, how high does
he move up the board. I would say this, he'll
move up to nachs and now we'll put him at mid.
He's only admitted if you go okay, But I will
say this, put a pin in that. I'll say this,

(24:15):
Our secondary is cooked, so he should be a starter
this week.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
He should be in starting liners. Ryan Thomas Jr. Should
be in starting liners without a blink. They should attack
our secondary. So yes, he's going to have a good game.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
I will say that as I'm putting together. So I
put it together my list of sleepers for the week.
Trevor Lawrence is on that, so I'm just like.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
You, he's a starter. Do you guys know what what
his middle name actually is.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
It's like Alexander.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
I looked at it.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
It's like, oh, I'm blanking like I want to say Charles,
but I know that's not it.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
His middle name is Trevor.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Oh, that's right. Because the first name is like William, William.
That's right, He's William, He's will Lawrence.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
That's right. So where giving him a second middle name
because the middle name is actually it's confusing.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Yes, by the way I asked, I asked our friends
on the research team, Kareem Falcone, who put this together
for me. In six career games in London, Trevor Lawrence
has average two hundred and thirty three and a half
passing yards per game, has a total seven passing touchdowns,
three interceptions, three fumbles lost. He's averaged about fourteen and

(25:28):
a half Fantasy.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Points per game in six London starts.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
We it's a home game for him.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
We should start calling him William and make him earn
the name trevormarn Trevor.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
That sounds kind of fair. I like that. I kind
of think that's fair. I think that's fair.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
All right there, that's real the Mirage. Want to get
to some backfield talk a little bit, a little bit
of a backfield report here, and yes, because we've looked
around and there are some running back situations that are
not great where you've got two guys that are splitting time.
I'm and the production generally is it's not enough that

(26:05):
you feel great about starting them. But these are also
players that it's hard to get away from in any
real situation. So Lakwa, I want to start with you
and the Seahawks here. Zach Charbonay yesterday had sixty one
percent of the snaps thirteen touches for thirty seven yards.
Kenneth Walker thirty three percent of the snaps, eleven touches
for thirty seven yards.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
They both scored the same amount of points.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
I think they both had four point one points, so
he had one catch as well.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Where are you going with this backfield?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Because like Walker is the explosive guy, but Charbona is
the touchdown guy, Like which one is too?

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Do you want at this point?

Speaker 4 (26:41):
I'll say this if I'm kind of Walker, trade me.
If you think Zach charbone is the guy, go ahead,
because that's exactly what's happening. Like it doesn't make sense
why they're even doing this split. Like Zach Charboney has
zero games over fifty negative yardists before context, so that
means that he is terrible. The defenders are swarming him,
or he's running into blocks or not even seeing the gaps,

(27:02):
and that's usually what we're seeing on tape. So I
think it's kind of disrespectful to have Kenneth Walker on
the sideline, to have Zach Sharbiney get more touches, have
more opportunities when he's not doing anything with them. Kenneth
Walker is your bang for your buck. He is the
slingshot player that you send back and he shoots off
and he gets up field. So I do think at
the end of the day, as a fantasy manager, this

(27:22):
is the most frustrating situation I can be having Kenneth Walker. Like,
I see the timeline. The fantasy streets are chirping, They're like,
this is literally the last season I will be drafting
Kenneth Walker.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
I kind of agree.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
I kind of agree, Like it doesn't make any sense,
Like it's one of the most frustrating things that are
happening in the backfields that we're talking about, because we
know that Kenneth Walker is the more talented back.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
But I go back to and I said this on
this show repeatedly during the preseason, that all of the
Beat reporters, all of the chatter out of Seattle was
that the coaching state that was sort of getting worn
out with Kenneth Walker. A lot of it had to
do with injuries and not being healthy and not being available,
but that had been the drum beat all summer long
that Kenneth the Zach Scharbaday was coming for the job. Now,

(28:11):
the problem is, Zach Charberenay is kind of a plotter, right,
He's not a breakaway sort of guy. He gives you
a little bit.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Two point six yards per carry.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Marcus slash slash two point six yards per carry.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
It's a little I don't want to give him a
pass because I don't think he's very good. It is
a little bit because he's the short yardage back and
he's at the goal line and you can't have breakaway.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Runs on those.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, but even when they use in between the twenties,
I mean, he's just not He's not the guy.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Like, no, he's not explosive at all.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Kenneth Walker is the guy who could, on any given moment,
you know, get the get the corner, and then go
forty yards.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Right, Like that has come on, bro, get the yards?

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Fight on, Like.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Went to the other school. He would say he was
school at the University of Southern California.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
I would ask for the place him.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Right.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
They play in November. It's the last game of the season.
You got to.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Shout out to you know, Chuda Trojan's beating Michigan over
the weekend.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
We'll just throw that out there.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yeah, I just I feel like I said this a
few weeks ago on Fantasy Live that Kenneth Walker has
a Zach Charbonay problem and vice versa, because Straberty is
not gonna get a bunch of touches because they do
know that Walker is explosive, but unless Walker is scoring
a touchdown from like twenty five yards out, when they
get close, it's Zach Charboney getting those touches down at
the goal line. So again, if they form like Voltron,

(29:36):
they're a top probably top ten running back. But with
them splitting opportunities, both guys are just generally unsatisfying.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
But it's also just hard to you're not gonna maybe
you bench them, but you're not gonna drop them.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Like it's just but that's the thing that that's so frustrating,
because are you gonna bench Kenneth Walker? No, because he
has that high ceiling? Does he though, Yeah, we've seen
it this season, But that's in the game that Zach
Charboney didn't play. Well, there's one good game he has
in the five games that Sharbonay has played.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
In those five games, he's averaging ten and a half
h PPR points per game, which isn't great. And char
he's outscored Sharbonnay in one of five games. Like, I
think we've reached a point, but Charbonnay's points are coming
strictly from cherry pick in the end zone. That is disgusting.
But the problem is you're never going to start zach
Sharbona like I think you sit both of them. I

(30:27):
think both of them have just hit the band. That's disgusting.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
I think the answer is like maybe none right now
at this point, unless unless one guy gets hurt.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
When they're both healthy, they just both seem not great.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
This wasn't the case last season, though, Like when Kenneth
Walker was healthy, Charbonne sat the sideline like it wasn't
this annoying.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Like now, it's.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Just something's happened in Seattle.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
Ken Walker asked for a trade trader. I agree, but
it's too frustrating to trust in fantasy.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Yeah, I'm speaking of that.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Let's go to the Steelers where Arthur Smith collects his
male streets spooky man, a spooky season right now. Jalen
Warren yesterday fifty one percent of the snaps thirteen touches
sixty three yards. Canneth Gain well thirty four percent of
the snaps, twelve touches, thirty six yards.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
I mean, Florida.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
I know some of that was because they were playing
the Browns, and nobody at least from the running back spot,
really has success against the Browns, right now.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
But I know Warren looks like the lead back.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
But yeah, you mentioned it too last week that Kenneth
Gainwell was getting some opportunities.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
And that sort of thing. Is there a guy that
you want? At this point?

Speaker 1 (31:39):
I guess we can sort of, you know, ride off
Caleb Johnson because he seems like he's sort of out
of the mix. But between Warren and Gainwell, who's the
guy you want?

Speaker 3 (31:48):
The correct answer for me, I think is neither. If
I had to pick, I'm going with Jalen Warren. But
I think this is just becoming a headache. Like, Warren
ran pretty well considering who the opponent was yesterday, but
the thing that always made Warren attractive in fantasy was
his past game usage. Well, he only had two targets yesterday,

(32:10):
but Kenneth Gainwell had six. So if Gainwell is now
going to be playing on passing downs, he's kind of
the new Jalen Warren, and Jalen Warren's kind of the
new more explosive Naujie Harris like. And I don't know
if we could fully write off Caleb Johnson either, because
he had six carries yesterday and played those season high
and snaps. I believe so like to me, this is

(32:32):
becoming a matchup based backfield. I don't think Gainwell is
good enough where he has standalone value outside of maybe
a bye week or injury replacement. But I think he
is going to drag Jalen Warren down into like RB
three territory that you could play in a good matchup.
Maybe things get better. Maybe this was just a case

(32:52):
of he set out, he hurt his ankle in our
last game, then we had the buy set out than
the buy stuff like that. So may it's getting him
back to full health. But I came away from yesterday
being like, I am happy I don't have a whole
lot of Jalen Waurren on my fantasy teams.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
Johnny Smith six carries confirmed for next week. Because that's
basically what Kayla Johnson was.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Let's just let's just put out this hypothetical, right. Let's
just say you had a friend who had to ride
a weekly sleeper's column and that phrase saw that the
Steelers were playing the Bengals and was trying to find
a sleeper running back. Which running back would you pick?

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Probably Warren. I will say the matchup, though, is the
reason why I didn't have them as sits because it's
too hard to say to sit someone against Sincia.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Yeah, I think John new.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Has a rushing touchdown next week.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
God, as soon as it's going.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
I went through, you know, yesterday, I'm going through and
I'm making my list of sleeper It's just like a
peek behind the curtain how this works, right, Like you know, sure,
like you do Florio and like you probably do with
Lakwan when you're looking at rankings, that sort of thing,
like I look at.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Who's playing the who's playing the Cowboys? You know who
you can? Right?

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Like you know, where where can I get? And so
I was like, all right, great, we can you know,
let's let's in the mix. Right. The first draft of
the list is you know, Aaron Rodgers, Jalen Warren, DK
Metcalf and then I got to tight end and I
was just like I stopped because yesterday when it came
to tight end usage for the Steelers, Darnel Washington had

(34:25):
five targets. John Smith had four targets. Yes, uh, Connor
Hayward had a target. Who else am I miss? Pat
Fryermoth only had one target and only ran thirteen routes.
But It's just like, literally that's four tight ends that
Arthur Smith got into Nick's yesterday. So I'm like trying

(34:46):
to figure out, like who's a tight end sleeper maybe
going against the Bengals. And I'm like, I can't with
any real certainty tell you any of these.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Names in Pittsburgh. If this is what Arthur Smith is
going to do.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
I want no part of this offense. Like I've been
saying to trade DK metcalf I, I would try to
trade Jalen Warren after his next big game. I just
want absolutely it's a bad play caller. It's for fantasy
at least, it's a quarterback who can't really throw the
deep ball anymore. They've had a good favorable schedule to
open up. I don't know, I just don't want to

(35:19):
do the Steelers thing.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
The DKs also had a touchdown in four straight games.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
That's the thing. That's what you sell her now for
a big return.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I mean, I'm I'm with you, like I have Jalen
Warreden on a couple of teams and like it's hard
for me to get away from him. But I'm not
somehow starting Sharbonnet. I'm not happy about having to start.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
Jalen Warren, it was fun when he was Najie Harris's backup.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
I don't know how Yeah, and now that he's the guy,
it's disgusting.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
That's us.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
It's always how it.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Works, right, Like everybody loves you when you're the backup.
When you become the guy, it's not as fun. So
we'll see how it goes. One last backfield to get to.
And speaking of the Steelers, they played the Browns and
on the other side. You pointed this out LaQuan in
our group chat. There's a lot of Jerome Ford. Yesterday
inside Jerome Ford and quin Shawn Judkins played the exact

(36:14):
same number of snaps. Judkins twelve touches for thirty six
yards forward seven touches for thirty yards. Is this a
thing that's gonna start happening, Ku, because like these the
last couple of weeks it looked like the Quinn Sewn
Jenkins show. Are we gonna have to start dealing with
Jerome Ford maybe taking some food off our plate?

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Yes, especially with David and the djoku banged up. Like
I think we kind of ignored quin Shon Jenkins scary
floors because it was like going into this game. This
guy's averaging more than ninety yards per game, so it's like, Okay,
he looks good as the workhorse. We don't have to
worry about Dylan Samson, we don't have to worry about
Jerome Ford. But when the run game doesn't work, we
never really put that any equation to think, like what

(36:54):
does quinn Sewn Jenkins look like? Because they need to
get the ball out fast with Dylan Gabriel making quick decisions,
so that becomes dump boffs. They're not going to have
Jerome Ford or Dylan Samson sitting on the sideline while
quin Shawn Jenkins trying to run a couple of routes.
Like no, like he's had a game where they experimented
with that where he had four targets four catches. But
Dylan Samson and Droome Ford kind of looks better in

(37:17):
the open field as a pass catcher than a quin
Sewn Jenkins, you know, because if you go back to college,
that's what they had Trayvon Hendrons for which we'll save
for later, and I got something.

Speaker 3 (37:26):
For that guy.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
But I do think at the end of the day,
like if quin Shawn Jenkins has been like your reliable
RB two or your flex like still believe in that,
but just understand, like if the matchup is not there
for him on the ground, we have to second guess
now because he can easily get faced out and then
they'll start having Jerome Ford or Samson running those routes
where PPR formats. That's kind of what we want from

(37:49):
our lead guy.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
I mean, that's the fear right now, Florio, is that
you know, as Lacon mentioned, like Judkins not heavily heavily
involved in the passing game. I'm and this is a
Browns team that is gonna lose a lot of games.
They're gonna be trailing in a lot of games. So
it feels like the potential for gamescript could become an
issue for Judkins this year.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
It definitely could, But I'm not nearly as worried. This
was a game where they went down twenty three to six.
Like they've they've kept it a lot closer against a
lot better teams. I still think I think this was
more just a we're far behind, like we need to
go into pure pass mode and there's gonna be weeks
like that. But you would have thought that was a

(38:33):
week against the Lions. You would have thought that was
a week against the Packers. Like he's proven. I still
consider him a rock solid every week start. And like
next week he gets the Dolphins, he's a mustar for me.
Oh yeah, that's to the Moon's.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Yeah no, he's again.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
He's on my list this week of guys that yeah,
he's He's gonna be talked about for sure this week.
Is there ever gonna be a team or has there
ever been a team so bad that they just fall
behind and they're like, you know, let's just run our
regular offense just to see what we have have, Like
you know, hey, let's try to throw in ketchups, like
you know what, we're down, we're not coming back. Let's
just let's just work some things out.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
I think there's an easy argument that Judkins is the best,
even if they're down four scores, Like you're probably gonna
get a better result out of running him than you
are in the passing game.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Absolutely probably.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
All right, So anyway, those are some some running back
situations we are diving into. I didn't throw I thought
about throwing Kansas City into the mix here too.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
I mean, have we.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
All just we all decided that it's Kareem Hunt's show.
But I guess yesterday it was Isaiah Pacheco who was
the more productive of the backs.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
I think all three backs are on the waiver wire
from most leaks, I think. I think so that's one
of those situations that I'm glad I'd want left on
that like, because I hate that they're still trying to
put the ball in Pacheco's hands, like through the air,
Like bro, like you have a pass catching back in Brashard,
stop putting Pacheco in those situations, you know, like he

(40:03):
doesn't need.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
To catch the ball.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Bratschard Smith is the guy that I'm waiting for the
post buy bump. The Chiefs have their buy in week ten,
and that's when I'm very curious about Brishard Smith if
they start to integrate him more, because he's getting a
little bit of work, but his snaps are still fairly
limited and his opportunities are fairly limited. I mean, Florida,

(40:26):
I know You've talked about this with the Chiefs for
a while. It always seems like late in the season
they sort of unveil that guy, Like in the past
it had been like Jerick McKinnon, who they just you know,
they take him out of they take him out of
bubble wrap late in the season and let him do things.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
I'm getting those kind of vibes with Burshard Smith.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
The only thing that I agree, I think he can
be a weapon for them. The only thing and the
reason why I think they continue to try a little
bit to make Pacheco a thing in the passing game
is because the offense is at it's least predictable when
he's on the field, Like when Kareem hunts up there,
you pretty much know they're going to bang it up
the middle. When Smith's out there, you kind of know
they're passing. But I think he gives them that like

(41:06):
hard to figure out thing. But yeah, he he straight
up needs.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
To be The other thing about Rashard Smith, and I
guess the other running backs as well. Rashie Rice is
coming back, and it's just so many places to go
with the ball, you know. I mean, yesterday was Travis Kelce,
it was Juju, it was Hollywood Brown.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
You know, Taekwon Thornton, who had been playing well, didn't
get a single target yesterday.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
But there will be weeks where it's you know, Taekwon
Thornton getting the target, it'll be Xavier Worthy, who had
a touchdown yesterday. Like, it's just there's so many places
for a homes to go with the football that it's
just hard to really rely on any one guy. And
he might be their best runner.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
Yeah, yeah, that's not great.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
I mean what I mean he is, well, he's actually
yeah yeah, he's leading them in rushing yards right now,
rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
It's embarrassing. He has a legit m v P case though,
because of that. Don't do that, no, man, the.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
MVP conversation, in the conversation, Bro, it's week six, How
are you? How are you limiting people from the conversation
in week six?

Speaker 4 (42:22):
I don't want to hear him be in the m
v P race. It's maker right now. Bro's not top five.
I don't know, Like, are you crazy?

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Florio Baker, Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen. I'd probably say
Mathew Stafford. Yesterday I was saying Jared Goff, no stop,
Jared Goof. You know three he had nine yesterday.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
I do love that.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
I love just in the ribs about these sorts of things.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
Topic look at other and VP things like.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Bro Stafford is playing amazing football. Just wait into this
connection you.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
You opened up the show by saying that he has
no chemistry with Davante Adams.

Speaker 4 (43:12):
I just said, when that gets on par then you
will understand why m v P is there like he's
showing flashes.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
But he is a guy that you is ahead of,
is ahead of Stafford. I would say, Oh, my kid,
about heads about to explode right now?

Speaker 1 (43:36):
Is DeVante Adams Alan Robinson two point zero?

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Yo?

Speaker 5 (43:41):
Yo?

Speaker 1 (43:42):
Watch I'm kidding.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
I just I just wanted to get you. I just
wanted to I could make it.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Yeah, you want Drake May also ahead of Stafford?

Speaker 4 (43:54):
That is that is not a hot take right now,
that Drake May is a top five ruar back in
the league. That's not a hot take anymore. I wants
he's not above Stafford. So stop, oh stop, Well we're
gonna take a break.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
We'll try to hash this out during the break and
then come back with some guys to drop, say his
dad for waivers coming up this week. That's next on
the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. As you start looking toward
Week seven and looking to make some roster moves, figured
we'd do some waiver wire stuff and some guys to drop.
I originally was going to do waiver Wire first and

(44:27):
then the drop zone thing, but I'm really trying to
get better about not ending the show on a negative note.
I figured I would flip those around and we can
talk about who to drop first and then talk about
who to add, because at least that seems a little
bit more hopeful as a way to end the show.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
So I'm who is going back into the waverpool there, lukwan.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
I'm opening up my league and it's the cut through
a season league who all my friends in high school
and stuff. You know, We've been in this league for
twelve years now. I'm dropping Trevon Henderson. I don't care.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
I'm ready to pull the Bandai off.

Speaker 4 (44:59):
I'm not way for the rookie project and waiting for
that breakout after week ten because some of us don't
have time to wait for that. Some of us are
missing on the waves of the waiver wire running backs.
Some folks are missing out on the Rico Dad, or
they're missing out on guys like Kamani Vidal that are
starting to pop up off the waiver wire that you
can sit with and help you turn around your team.

(45:21):
Trayvon Henderson right now is stuck in the vortex of Stevenson.
He's not pulling away from this Symbidio is all over
Trayvon Henderson. He is not getting free. So I look
at this as a situation of like, hey, if I
see an available running back who's giving me right now impact,
that can help me turn around my team. Trayvon Henderson
is ghost.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
He is gone.

Speaker 4 (45:41):
He is on the waiver wire, and I do not
care when he breaks out, because most likely it'll be
on your bench when he breaks out, So good luck
with that. I'm trying to turn it around right now,
not waiting for it.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
I mean, Florida, you've been at least on this show
the biggest Henderson supporter.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Are you there yet with him?

Speaker 5 (45:58):
No?

Speaker 3 (45:59):
No, In fact, I think he is a big sleeper
this week. Sleeper just asked me if I'm sure by
the way you want it, they get the Tennessee Titans
this week. I'm giving him one more opportunity.

Speaker 4 (46:12):
Stevenson's about to go insane this game, and then we're
gonna look at.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
Gave me one more chance.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
Look, I'm not saying Trevion has been good. I came
on last week's show and was like, he needs to
be a lot better. He hasn't been good running up
the middle. I don't know why they refuse to give
him outside carries because he has thrived on those. But
this week they get the Titans, and the Titans are
towards the top of the league and most like Russian
categories allowed plus game script should very much so be

(46:42):
on the Patriots side. Uh. I'm not saying that like
you have to start him, although I am writing him
up and starts it as like a borrowing from your color, Marcus.
I'm putting a sleeper for it, and this one's on
a straight start. But if he has a good game
against the Titans, suddenly he has value again and it
doesn't have to be on your team. But I get

(47:03):
it if like Camani Videl or Rico Daudell are out there,
But in a lot of leagues, those guys have been
scooped up already and there's no one else that's available
this week.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
Kendre Miller Ken Dre Miller, I'll draw on that project
that's trending.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Not getting traded.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Yeah, that's that's gonna be nasty.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
He doesn't want to leave him he's the face of
that team.

Speaker 2 (47:28):
That's that's that back goes nasty work all year long.
Want any parts of that?

Speaker 3 (47:32):
And like at this point, like are you gonna drop
him for Kenneth Gainwell or Tajy Spears or Bam Knight, Like.

Speaker 4 (47:39):
Well, I I can't drop him right now because one
of your players are trying the drop is already locked
into your starting lineup. So he gets it tomorrow where
I'm gonna be dropping him? Yes, absolutely, I'm done. There's
no reason why he needs to be on my roster.
This is like I'm not going over again. No it's not.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
I'm not. But I'm not dropping him just to anger
drop him when he has by the way, like the
the uh Jamar Chase like ioman or debate, that's that's
over now, right, That's that was It.

Speaker 4 (48:14):
May not be because breaking news. I hope this is real.
Titans fire head coach Brian Callanan. That just happened, all right, yep.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
I see it right here.

Speaker 3 (48:24):
I see it.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
I don't think that's gonna be like IM better than
Jamar Chase. But no, no, that was never the argument.

Speaker 4 (48:32):
It was more reliability. But that ended it very quickly.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
I means like fifty four fantasy points in the last
two weeks.

Speaker 4 (48:39):
But in that game that I sat him in that
game that I said Jamar Chase, there wasn't a real difference.
It was like six seven points.

Speaker 3 (48:46):
So but we said three weeks sad nah No, I
mean he said three weeks when we made it. If
you would be eating some spicy right now.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Doesn't even have fifty four points for the season.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Who's to blame while we're talking about Brian Hell, who
do you blame for that fan iom?

Speaker 2 (49:06):
I mean, yeah, the Titans.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
I blame you for doubting Jamar Chase.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
I wasn't doubting Chase. I was doubting his situation in
the quarterback thrown to him.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
On this whole Brian Callahan thing, though, Like, I think
this can only be a good thing for cam Ward
because if you've watched the Titans, like they've done nothing
but put him in a position to fail, like their
top five and pressure allowed, their top five in sacks allowed.
I know turnovers have been an issue, but they've had
a lot of drops. I don't think they were using
some of their players in the best way. And when
you look at cam Ward's numbers when he's not running

(49:39):
for his life. They're good, like he had over one
hundred passer rating this week when not under pressure. So
I never excited to see someone lose their job or
anything like that, but I think with the results the
Titans have been giving, especially with everything they've invested in
cam Ward, it something had to change.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Four and nineteen was the record for Brian Callahan in
not even a season and a half with the Tennessee Titans.
And when I watched the offense, it generally is like
every third play is a cam Ward sprint out of
the pocket, stand near the sideline, wait for somebody to
come open and either force it into coverage or throw

(50:18):
it out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (50:20):
That's not sustainable.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
So Brian Callahan the first head coach who has been
let go here in the twenty twenty five season. Anyway,
back to the drop zone, guys, because this is where
we started this whole thing.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Fun back of the waverpool right now.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
Hollywood Brown, thank you for your service. It's he's been good,
right like, he's been useful. Two touchdowns last night. But
before this season started, I was like, I want to
draft Hollywood Brown and ride him until Rashie Rice is
back and we have reached that point. So, like you
were saying, MG, there's a lot of targets to go around.

(50:56):
I think Rashie Rice is going to be the un
question number one target, maybe even as soon as this
upcoming week. H Xavier Worthy is obviously not going to
leave the field a whole bunch Kelsey's there. I think
Thornton becomes more of a boomer bus guy, and I
think that's what Hollywood Brown becomes like. He will have
some games the rest of the way where he is useful,
but I think it's going to be difficult to predict

(51:17):
unless there's an injury or something like that. So look,
he's helped you survive these first six weeks if you
drafted him and Rashi Rice like I did. In a
few weeks. Now it's time to put him back on
the waiver, so you could activate Rashi Rice and get
him back in.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
Your starting lineups. I would say, even before I put
him on waivers, I might even try to dangle him
out in the trade. Just true, yell coming off in
some touchdown game. You know, I dangle him out there
before I just said goodbye. But I'm kind of with
you and I have I have Hollywood Brown on a
few rosters where it's like, okay, it.

Speaker 4 (51:51):
Did a shame for Trayvon Henderson, but nobody wants him.
So that's why, all right, I am, I am.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
I think I'm over the Troy Franklin experience in Denver.

Speaker 2 (52:04):
And I tried. I tried to be.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
I tried to I tried to be excited about it.
You know, uh, it just it's just not consistent enough.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
One.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
The Broncos passing game is not consistent enough, so that's
been hard. You know that Courtland Sutton is going to
to get a lot of the opportunities there. Evan Ingram
starting to get kind of more opportunities there in that
offense as well.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
He had an okay game.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
I mean that that London game was not fun to
watch between the Broncos and the Jets.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
It was not fun at all. So you know, I'm
I'm I'm turning into the meme.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
At least I think the Broncos are turning into the
meme with the you know, friendship with Troy frank friendship
ended with Troy Franklin. Now Pat Bryant is my best friend.
I'm starting to wonder if Pat Bryant's going to start
to get some more opportunities. I think in the end
it's going to be generally unsad is fying for anybody
not named Courtland Sutton.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
But try, Frank. I appreciate what you did.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
We tried it so far, it's not working and it's
time for me to move on at this point.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
So there.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
Those guys we are dropping, as for guys we are
adding for you. Put together this list of waiver wire
picks for Week seven.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Yeah, Sam Darnold is playing really well right now. I
think he needs to be picked up. Don't forget that. CJ.
Stroud before the buy had his two best Fantasy games
in over a year. Aaron Rodgers this was more because
of the matchup this week against the Bengals. Feel the
same way. I know people be like Dylan Gabriel, if
you need a deeper streamer in a deeper league, he
gets the Dolphins and then Michael Pennix Junior. Another one

(53:43):
that some people might be like, what, but they have
a favorable matchup. They get the forty nine ers who
are super banged up and can't generate much pressure right now.
Running Back Kamani Videll is the big pickup of the
week if he's still out there on your waivers. Taj
Spears low key played over Tony Pollard gets the groundwork.
Spears is getting the passing game work. Kenneth Gainwell, we've

(54:05):
already talked about that backfield and then Bam Knight. I
don't really want to do the Cardinals running back thing,
but he's getting the goal line work it looks like.
So he's an option receivers the Packers guys, if they're
out there, like Matthew Golden was just below sixty percent
on NFL. I know he's not available in any of
your leagues, but Romeo Dobbs is and Romeo Dobbs getting

(54:26):
a lot of volume as of late. We spoke about
the Bucks receivers, so Sheppard and the Johnson's are in
play there. Josh Downs second most targets. I don't love
Josh Downs because he's kind of the new Wandel Robinson,
but he's in play in PPR leagues. Lakwan already spoke
about Jordan Winnington with the Rams. Jalen Tolbert, I guarantee
you is not going to be in other waiver wires

(54:48):
this week. He had one target this week. But he
gets the Commanders next week, who have really struggled against
slot receivers and he's been their top slot guy. And
then Jay Jones just in case Marvin Harrison Junior is
out again next week. Tight ends Harold fan and Jr.
Great usage this week, David and Joku banged up Evan
Ingram been a top two target three weeks in a row.
Now Kita and just because of how banged up the

(55:09):
Bucks pass catchers are, and then a La Kwan special
from the Chargers around again in the second seeing more
volume as of late, so I think he is in
play as well.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Yeah, I do, like Ronny Gatston in the right spots,
the right situations. This could be one coming up this week.
Harold fans Well, last week I had David and Joku
as a sleeper and then he got hurt, and then
Harold Fanning got all these targets.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
So I'd like to think that I was right, you
got it, We'll give it to you. I got it right.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
Those would have been David and Joku's targets if he
didn't get hurt.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
That's what I'm telling myself. So we'll see.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
But anyway, those are just the names to go check
out on the Waiver Wired as you get ready to
put your claims in and get yourself ready for Week seven.
But we're getting ourselves ready to put a cap on
this show, because that'll do it for this edition of
the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast. They happy say, if in healthy,
do good, and live well, we'll talk to you again
on Wednesday.

Speaker 5 (56:02):
Wow. Mm
