Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, everybody, Welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy
Football Show. It's me and your man named g Marcus
Grand joined by Michael f. Florio and the Kwan Jones.
Welcome to another Wednesday fellas burgfest Burgfest. Let's go? Can
(00:23):
I hijack this for quick seconds? Please? Please? Do? Dope jersey?
What's the call?
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I don't respect sports that are played with collars on
or jerseys or stuff?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Whoa why are we starting to show with this energy?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Bro?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
Do you understand the history behind this jersey from shirt's great?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Bro? If it was just a crew neck or something.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Stop ninety nine Manchester United Glory, Glory. We got a
game this weekend, Brolatly, you are.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Forty five seconds into the show. We've already gone off
the rails. Who strapping? It's gonna be a wild one today.
We got a lot to talk about. We are going
to preview the Thursday night football game. We're gonna look
at the week seven slates of games. Plus are we benching?
Aj Brown? Is Rushie Rice? A must start? And we
got some bounced back, some sleepers and a whole lot more.
But let's get started, as we always do. About this
(01:11):
time with some fantasy headlines and some good news some
bad news. The good news Cede Lamb has a chance
to come back this week against the Washington Commanders. He's
been out for the last several weeks dealing with an
ankle spraying. Obviously, the Cowboys will be excited to have
him back. Fantasy managers, look, I took Ceedee Lamb the
(01:31):
number one overall in a league, so I will be
glad to get him back at this point. But Florio,
when you look at who's still there, George Pickens had
a big game last week, Jake Ferguson has been fantastic
this year. Which one of those guys loses out more
with CD coming back, I.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Think it's Jake Ferguson because Pickens is still gonna be
like a big play reliant and a go to guy
in the end zone, whereas Ferguson is a little bit
more volume dependent and he can still be the number
two targets some weeks. But Ceedee Lamb when he is
out there is going to be force fed the ball.
But with that being said, Cowboys Commanders, I think this
(02:08):
is a game where you play all of your big
pieces and most of your offensive players because I think
this game has score fester in all over.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
It absolutely does. In fact, I've got a bold prediction
coming up a little bit later this week involving that game.
That's a tease for you to stay tuned, maybe not
to this show. We'll stay tuned to this show too,
but come back for later in the come back later
the way too for more bold predictions. That's all I'm saying.
That's it. The bad news side of the equation comes
(02:34):
with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a Mecca Abuca dealing with
a hamstring injury and right now he is not expected
to play on Monday Night against the Detroit Lions. It
has been tough for the Bucks, at least in theory, right.
Baker Mayfield still balling, but he keeps losing guys, right,
I mean, Chris Godwin has been down. He might lose Abuka.
The good news, Lakwan is that Mike Evans they're hopeful
(02:56):
he can come back for this week. But you know,
after Mike, who else do you like to get targets
in that offense? Man?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Obviously, Cam Johnson popping up with the waiver wire. Sterlin
Sheppard looks to be something that has the chemistry where
Baker Mayfield, I like Mike Evans coming back bringing some
stability to this offense. But man, I'm hoping a Mecca
book is not banged up where he's going to be
missing multiple weeks. Like, Man, the carousel of injury wide
receivers are taking fantasy managers out in the time We're
(03:23):
even at the half way point, Like I'm trying to
get CD Terry McLaurin, AJ Brown back on track to play,
and now I'm losing a Mecca Buka, Like this is
going to be like a struggle for a lot of
managers that's going to try to fight with a Cam
Johnson or Sterling Sheppard as their flex option to replace
what a Mecca Buka has put out these last couple
of weeks.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
The other part of that is Abuka is a guy
that you drafted probably is a third wide receiver. Yeah,
He's become a lot of people's wide receiver one at
this point. So that is a big hole if people
don't have to try to fill in their rosters at
least for this week. Hopefully it's not more than just
this week, but we will see about that. Have more
buys this week, just two teams on a bye this week,
(04:02):
the Ravens and the Bills. Can we just put in
a request to the people in the league office who
do scheduling, like, let's not do the two team bye weeks.
Let's just try to make it like four teams a piece,
because next week is by him aged like, why are
we doing this? It doesn't have to be this way,
help us all out. Just throw us about. That's all
ra asking. Anyway, We're taking a look at the Steelers
(04:23):
and Bengals on Thursday Night football, and here are the
first touchdown odds for that one. Jalen Warren with the
best odds, followed by Chase Brown, which is a little
bit shocking because it has not been a good year
for Chase Brown so far. Got dk Metcalf, Jamar Chase,
and Kenneth Gainwell rounding out the top five. Of course,
you can see that game coming up on Thursday night
(04:43):
on Prime Video eight fifteen pm Eastern time. Is the
scheduled start for that one. Florio Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, the
big game against the Jets to start the season because
he was fueled by spite. He hasn't had that level
of pettiness going forward, but this week. He has a
great matchup. Can he be a top ten quarterback this week?
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yes, yeah, I think so. Like I'm not ranking him
as one, I also think this is a pretty good
week for quarterbacks. Like there's golf in a must start matchup.
I think I think Justin Fields bounces back, et cetera,
et cetera. But Aaron Rodgers gets this good matchup. And
the one thing, Look, Aaron Rodgers is not going to
light up yardage wise, and he's not gonna.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Run at all. We know that.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
But his touchdowns right now are keeping him aflow, and
I think there's going to be regression that comes. I
don't expect this touchdown rate to remain this high, but
this is not the.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Week for that.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Like the Bengals give up a lot of production, they
give up a lot of points. So yeah, I would
not be surprised at all if he Again I'm not
ranking him as one. He's just slightly out of the
top ten, but I would not be surprised if he
finishes top ten.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Five of these six starting quarterbacks the Bengals have faced
so far this year have gone for like two hundred
and fifty or more yards. The only one that didn't
was Carson Wentz. But he's still finished as a top
twelve quarter because he had a couple touchdowns. So wow,
it's all bad for the Bengals defense, but I mean
it's all good for us on the fantasy side. On
the other side, Lakwan Joe Flacco making his second start
(06:10):
for Cincinnati this week, was you know, okay, he had
over two hundred yards, he had two touchdowns, no interceptions.
I mean it was fine. More importantly, though, we know
Jamar Chase is gonna get his Can Joe Flacco resurrect
T Higgins?
Speaker 3 (06:22):
I think so because you're getting more yards on his
target depth increasing with Joe Flacco, because less than five
yards per target with Jake Browning is why T. Higgins
was suffering for the yardage. Now you get Joe Flacco
that can throw downfield, that can get the yardist that
you want out of T. Higgins to be a viable
flex option. Honestly, this is how you get the four catches,
five catches, the sixty seventy eighty yard games and a
(06:44):
touchdown because you're able to open the playbook up more
with Joe Flacco. Pretty Flacco is out there balling out
there againting t Higgins to be trusted as a flex now.
So I do think if he's able to go downfield,
t Higgins is able to put a big yardage and
find the end zone one game, he could be act
to that flex territory or maybe even a wide receiver too.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Yeah. I mean I think the benefit of Flacco is
I think he can make throws that Jake Browning can.
I mean that's really what it is.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, cause like less than five yards per target, Like,
what are we expecting that of te Higgins? He's not
a yak guys. He he's differently like he needs to
be targeted downfield and Jake brown and just can't do
that without their own interception.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah. Te Higgins had the highest percentage of catchable targets
last week that he's had in a game all year
wild So I mean, look, it was still like sixty
five sixty seven percent, Like it wasn't great, but it
was better than anything you wast bet it was getting previously.
So I think that's a bonus for for te Higgins
for sure. Time to turn our attention to some of
the more intriguing matchups of Week seven. We will start
(07:43):
over in London yes, we have another game in London
this week, the Rams going to the Jaguar Stomping Grounds.
You know, the Jags have made London home, they get
to go over there. They'll fo host the Los Angeles Rams.
That when you can see nine thirty am Eastern Time
on NFL Network and on NFL Plus. A subscriptionre required
for NFL Plus. Terms and conditions apply. Lakwan, would you
(08:06):
start William Trevor Lawrence against the Rams or no?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Trevor mid Lawrence get to start this week? Okay, and
it's wild by noon, I'll know if my entire Sunday
is ruined because.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
My guy man United Man.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
They play at six thirty in the morning, so i'll
know against Liverpool for great and then Rams they get
Trevor mid Lawrence. So I do think he will have
to use his wheels in this game against this pass rush,
which I think it's amazing with Jared Vers, buy her Young,
Kobe Turt and Branden Fisk are doing.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
So.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
We've seen Trevor mid Lawrence use his legs in a
game against the Chiefs where he was able to get
fifty four yards and have over two hundred put plus
passing yards and The great thing is he'll be able
to challenge our secondary because we don't have the dbs
out there that can stop a lot of these mobile
quarterbacks that extend the place. So that gives him opportunity
to get Travis Hunter ignited, get Brian Thomas Junior activated.
(08:54):
I like him as a star. I actually like both
those guys to start this week against my Rams. As
crazy as that sounds.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
You could pick one of your teams winning over in
England this weekend? Is it man, you or is it
the Rams?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
I gotta be honest, man, you can't hurt me anymore.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
They play at the same time.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Yeah, it's over laughing. So you guys will be blocked
by noon because I don't want to hear the group chat.
These are going to be over by like, yeah early, listen,
you guys are blocked. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
I don't want to hear you guys for the rest.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Of the day. Once kids can beating cold pancakes for sure.
Eagles at the Vikings Florio. It has been a struggle
for aj Brown. You know, like one week it's good,
next couple weeks are bad. Then he's maybe having meetings
or not having meetings. Maybe they're just hanging out in
the parking lot. I have no idea. The Vikings have
(09:44):
been very tough on wide receivers. Would you consider benching
AJ Brown? No, and I have him in a loud
of leagues.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
So on Fantasy Live this week, I went on and
I said I would sit DeVonta Smith because of the matchup.
Like you said, the Vikings are the hard dismatch up
for out wide wide receivers. They've only allowed two completions
on deep passes this year, and with someone like DeVonta
Smith who's been eating on deep balls and averaging five targets.
He has one game this year with more than five
(10:11):
targets and it's six. So him, I think I could
get away from. AJ Brown, on the other hand, has
eight or more targets in each of his last five games.
So I continue to say what I think last week
hopefully was a step in the right direction, but there's
too much talent here where If you're giving AJ Brown
eight to ten targets a game, I do think better
(10:32):
days are coming, and I just simply.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Can't sit him.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
And maybe that's just me being too loyal to my guys,
because I'm a big AJ Brown.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Supporter, but volume, talent, all of that. I'm just I
find it hard to get away. I mean, look, I've
got him in a couple of leagues. I realistically I'm
not going to sit him. But it is a conversation
I've had in my head the last couple of days.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Like I look at some of my teams with him
on it and I'm like, Sterling Shepherd, No, I'm not right,
you know, Like it's AJ Brown.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
And I think that's thee. It's like, okay, all right,
if I say it AJ Brown, who am I putting
in that slug exactly? And it's like, yeah, I'm not
doing any of that, not doing any of that. So
Colts at the Chargers. Kamani Vadal had a huge game
last week, one hundred and twenty plus rushing yards for him.
The Colts have been really tough on running backs so
far this year. Lakwan, Yeah, much like the Vince Carter meme.
(11:21):
Does Kamani Vadal have one more left in him? Yes?
Speaker 3 (11:24):
I think he does based on the matchup. Actually, because
when we look at the previous running backs that found
success a Chan genty, all these guys are cut from
the same cloth non terms of talent, but what they
have on the utility belt where they found success where
you're looking at what a Chan and Genty did. These
guys have pass catching abilities to make an impact in
the passing game, and they're also explosive. Now, we saw
(11:45):
Kamani Vadal get that workhorse badge from the Chargers last week.
Put up one hundred and ten rushing yards nine point
two yards per carry in four explosive runs on outside
runs last week. This is a weak spy where the
Colts defense is at. They're having the six high explosive
run rate to outside runs to running backs this season,
so you gotta let Kamani Vadal cook in that flex
(12:07):
position this week.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Any fears of Hassan Haskins.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
No, I mean he was on the sidelines last week.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Man.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
I mean, honestly, I was really surprised how much work
Kamani Vidal got. But at the same time, I'm not
because you have to follow the talent. He was able
to find positive yardists behind that chaos o line that
they have that is banged up right now, where Haskins
he was getting negative yardists before contact, like he wasn't
able to get as loose as a Kamani Vadal Vadal again.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
I was a Kammani Vadal guy last year didn't happen.
I will admit that I was skeptical. I just didn't know.
I think I think we went to the last week
like we're not sure who's going to get most of
the touches for another be Vidal, So maybe he got
him one more week in your lineup, one more time,
at least one more time before we'll see when a
Mario Hampton comes back to a couple of weeks away
from that as well, we are just getting started here
on the show. Got planned to talk about. We're gonna
(12:56):
have some bounce back candidates coming up, a couple of
more game preview and our sleepers of the week that
is all still to come here on the NFL Fantasy
Football Show, looking at some guys who were maybe disappointing
in Week six that we think are poised for a
rebound in Week seven and yours, Lakwan, I am one
(13:18):
hundred percent on board with us.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Yes, Bill is due for a bounce back. Man back
to back week was the fumbles. I know that kind
of eats at some running backs confidence. I mean the
Rams fan here Kyler Williams. But you know, I think
this is a matchup where it's an easy lay up
for him to really get a lot of yardage and
be able to make an impact in the passing game
like we've seen in recent weeks. Now, Jerry McNichols is
definitely going to be there. But the one thing that
(13:41):
we saw about the Commanders, they're sticking with him back
to back season highs and snaps. When you look at
him having over sixty five percent of the snaps, Austin
Eckler demon reached that height this season when he was healthy.
I mean, when you look at Brian Robinson Junior his
time with the Commanders, he's only hit that three times.
One of the games Antonio Gibson was injured. So you're
looking at them really showing the confidence breathing into him.
(14:02):
They're leaning into him. So I'm not worried about Bill
and an easy matchup against the Cowboys where we know
we've been bullying them all season long. So I think
this is a great matchup for him to do some
damage on the ground.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I did love last week when he had one of
those fumbles, they immediately went right back to him. Too,
because I was wondering, like, Okay, he just put the
ball on the ground again, do they move on? But
they wouldn't. They didn't. They stuck with him. So that's
certainly very encouraging. Floya your bounce back for this week.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Someone that I don't think we talk enough about on
really any NFL show, Cortland Sutton, Like the dude is
a baller, And I know last week was a rough game,
something I said a lot on Fantasy Live, just like
Men in Black that from your memory, that whole game
was awful for everyone in it. But I expect much
better results this week, especially for Sutton, who has topped
(14:49):
seventeen Fantasy points four times already this year. He against
the Giants, who not only have allowed the third most
Fantasy points per game two receivers, they are allowing the
seventh most to out wide wide receivers and that is
where Sutton runs seventy percent of his routes. Plus, despite
all the talent they have on that defensive line, they
have struggled to generate pressure.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
And I think that is one of the biggest.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Things when expecting what to expect from a passing attack
that week is is the quarterback gonna have time to throw.
He's gonna have time to throw in this one, and
that means good things for Courtlon Sun.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yeah, I mean just I think having a better matchup
opens things up more than anything else. For Cortland Sutton.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Former Broncos running back Tatum Bell. I DMed him about
what he thinks about the Broncos right now, and he's like,
he's hired to Sean Payton, and I think I am too,
to be honest, because the play calling, man, I think
that's why it's been such an up and down roller
coaster Son. But I do like Sutton getting back on
his feet this week, So definitely with you, Florio.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Sean Payton is smarter than all of us, Yes he is.
He's awful for fantasy, but he wins NFL games.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Our friend Scott Porter, he's not even happy what Bo's
out there doing right now.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
So it's like no one's happy with how any of
their pieces are being used, but Denver.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Fans are happy. You gotta be happy. He still wins right,
Still very much in the mix there in the AFC West.
Justin Fields is the guy for me who bounces back,
and I think I don't think anybody was expecting a
huge game from him last week against the Broncuz. In fact,
I believe you had him as a set last week, right, So,
I mean that was always sort of in the cars
him having a poor outing. I don't think we expected.
(16:18):
I thought that Jets would put up more than eighty
two yards of total offense, let's put it that way.
But I didn't think it was gonna be a great
day for them. This is a different situation. I'll say this.
If you go back and look, the Panthers have actually
done a pretty good job against the run. I mean
they shut down the Cowboys running game last week. Javonte
Williams was really nowhere to be found. But they are
giving up some yards through the air. So it feels
(16:39):
like this could be a week where maybe we see
Fields kind of lead with his arm, get Garrett Wilson involved,
get Mason Taylor involved, and then as the passing game
starts to click, then you start to see more running
lanes coming for Justin Fields. But either way, I think
it's a much better game. It's been boom or bust
for him. Either he gives you like twenty points or
he gives you like four like, that's kind of it.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
It's Fields, Holmes and Lamar only quarterbacks with three or
more games twenty five plus.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
His other two or less than five. Yeah, it's all
or nothing for Justin Field. So far, this feels like,
you know, he's gonna be on the roof this week
as a post in the basement. So let's hopefully hopefully,
let's let's look get it that way. Back to our
game previews as we dive further into Week seven. Speaking
of the Denver Broncos, they are hosting the New York
(17:25):
Football Giants this week. Are we starting what I'm calling
Dartaboo Jackson Jackson dart and camp Scatball, Yeah, some of them, Yes, Dartaboo,
it's got to be a thing. Are we gonna start
brothers starting Dartaboo this week against the Broncos? And I
split them in half? Sure?
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Because I wrote about each of them in stardhom sit
them this week, camp Skytaboo.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
I you, there's no way you could get away from him.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Like the volume he is seeing, even in a tough
matchup is far too good. Like in the last month,
the Giants have two games where they've had a lead
pretty much throughout and he's had nineteen twenty five carries
in those two games, and there are other two they've
been trailing throughout. He has at least seven targets.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
In each of those games. He since he's taken over
is sorts to top the league.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
And red zone and end zone carries like the volume
is elite, even in tough matchups to start Camp Skataboo.
But I have Jackson Dart as a sit this week
because of the matchup. Like the Broncos, they create sacks
and pressure at the highest rate and it's not even
close right now you have Patrick's or Tan in that secondary.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
And on top of it.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
All, they limit quarterback running better than anyone. They had
allowed fifteen rushing yards in the first five weeks. They're
the first team to hold justin fields to less than
forty rushing yards in a game. So I don't think
you could bank on the usual rushing production you're gonna
get there. It is such a hard matchup in your
fourth game. I love Jackson Dart. I go on insiders
every week and I'm like, no quarterback on the waivers
(18:48):
bring more upside than him.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
But against the Broncos, I think he said the Broncos
have ten more sacks than the next closest. Yeah, it's right,
it's tough. They got thirty. The Steelers are a distant
second with twenty sacks, so they are getting after the
quarterback in a huge way. Commanders at Cowboys, we sort
of touched on this a little bit when you talked
about uh, Bill Krosky Merritt and that sort of thing.
(19:11):
I'm choose your fighter. Let's say this is a DFS
sort of thing. Right, do you want Bill? Do you
want Javonte Williams? God?
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Both are so good man, Like, can I can I
pick both fighters in this in this battle thing, because
like you remember Marvel versus capcon Right and X Man
versus three Fighter, Like, yeah, that was a good time.
That's you know, thirty some years ago, last time forty
winers won.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
A super Definitely going from I'm definitely going to have
to have both of these guys in starting lineups if
I'm the fantasy manager that has both of these guys,
because it's a matchup layup for both of them.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
So honestly, if I had to say who had the
higher ceiling j CM, obviously Bill, he gets the higher
ceiling out of this because of the matchup of the
Cowboys are lying over one hundred and forty rushing yards
per game. So yeah, I mean, honestly I want both
in the starting lineup.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
I have both of them. Now, Old Matthew Stafford get
some basis. Make fun of the collar. That's all. It
was just uncalled for.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I mean ninety six, isn't that the last time the
Bills went to the suit was uncool A couple of
years after Okay, even worse, so thirty plus years ago,
you guys went and didn't win and just uncalled for.
I know, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
You know what, we got to play back the uh
I mean the ratings. Yeah, I think so. I didn't
need to play. You know, in the building. I've come
by and the like just shake shake my hand from that.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
That's fine, but they don't know me. I am endless beasts.
I'm going to keep coming for those forty winers and
win a Super Bowl, and y'all could talk.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Anyway the Raiders at the Chiefs. Now that we're done
talking about the Lambs, Raiders and Chiefs for she Rice
is back. He must start this week. Yes, first of all,
you waited six weeks at that part.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
My favorite thing going on right now in some fantasy
leagues where I have she Rice is people sending me
trade offers for him.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
I'm like, no, like you.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Could have done that weeks ago. Yeah, I'm the one
that's going to enjoy this. I just want to remind
everyone how good was she Rice was last season in
the three healthy games. I know it's a small sample size,
but he was the wide receiver two in fantasy. He
led the NFL in catches, was second in yards. He
scores over seventeen fantasy points in each game, and he
was elite metrically to the point that I remember the
(21:14):
week he got hurt, I was on Twitter being like,
there's not five wide receivers. I'd rather have the rest
of the season than Rashid Rice. Plus, it's a soft
landing spot. Not only have the Raiders allowed the fifth
most fantasy points per game two receivers last season, eighty
eight percent of Rice's yards came against zone coverage. The
Raiders play zone coverage eighty seven percent of the time.
(21:34):
So it is just everything is there for Rashid Rice
to go off. And I think the Chiefs they want
to remind the NFL in the entire world like, yeah, this,
We've been waiting on this guy in our quarterbacks putting
up MVP numbers.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Anyway, I think Rashid Reich just goes off this week.
In those three healthy games, he had twenty nine targets.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah, he was looking like the wide receiver one.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I meanly was just just a target hog during that
time before he got hurt in really in game of
four of the season. So those are our looks at
week seven. Stick around. Later in the week we will
look at Sunday night football and another Monday night doubleheader.
We'll get to that as well. It's time to see
who will deliver. Presented by Uber Eats, We're giving you
our top sleepers for the week. Who is your snorelax
(22:16):
this week?
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Lakwan my snorl x man. I'm actually turning the heel
on this one. Uh oh, you know what, everybody has
been praising Travion Henderson, raising him up above the should.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Are praising it or are we begging for.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
All bashing Stevenson Formandre Stevens is my sleeper this week
with the great matchup. Now we know Tennessee is trash
on the ground, so I'm going to be the guy
out there that's going to raise the confidence for Mandre Stevens.
I know he's averaged less than three yards per carry
in the last three weeks, but this is a game
that I think he gets the leg up on Trayvon
Henderson because he's been doing his job when he's been
(22:50):
given the opportunities. Henderson has not detached itself from Stevenson.
So I think this is a matchup where I think
I can slide in Stevenson in my flex position and
he could deliver double digit points this week.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
So I have both of them as starts and starts
to him going down with the ship.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
I'm dropping Trayvon Henderson and most of my leagues.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
I'm shocked that you're riding with mister fumble thumbs from
wonder Stevenson.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yes, all right, I want Mike Rabel to talk to
Ben Johnson, because Ben Johnson was like, you know, DeAndre
Swift's best running out wide. We should change our rushing
attack to fit his strengths, and like Rabel, you're not
doing that for Travon Henderson.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Not doing that at all for Trevon Henderson. Florio, You're
sleeper of the week. We're going a little bit deep here,
all right, We're going with Cam Johnson.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
I know a lot of people are on the Tes
side of the Johnson versus Johnson battle or whatever, and
I will say that this is.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Strictly if Mike Evans is out this week.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
If Evans suits up, I don't really think you want
to play either of the Johnson's. But if he's out,
I'm going with Cam because tes won, I think is
getting pumped up a little bit for being hilarious, like.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
That MVP video that was comedy. It went viral, it's huge.
Everyone there's you know, there's feelings there for him. But
he did run more routes, he had fewer target And
the thing I looked at is the quality of targets.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Every Test Johnson target is at least ten yards downfield,
like he is their home run hitter, whereas Cam Johnson
had four targets. One was behind the line of scrimmage,
one was short, one was intermediate, one was long. They're
using him all over the field, which to me, if
Mike Evans is out, I think Serling Shepard is your one.
But then you Cam is kind of the guy they could.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
Generate touches for a little bit easier I think than test.
All right, so we're on the Cam Johnson side of things.
For me, my sleeper this week is quin Shawn Judkins,
and he could also be a bounce back. I guess
if you will. I don't really know what the Browns
were doing last week. I don't know if the Browns
know what the Browns were doing last week. A lot
of Jerome four. There were times when they got near
the goal line where it was Judkins on the sideline
(24:44):
and they were trying to throw the ball with Dylan Gabriel.
The whole thing was an absolute mess. But we saw
the week's previously that week three through five about a
sixty percent snapshare, eighty percent of the rushing at SAMs.
I mean, they were really using him like a workhorse back.
I don't know why they got away from that. I
think they get back to it this week against the Dolphins, who,
to put it mildly, are in disarray down there. I mean,
(25:05):
you got the starting quarterback calling everybody out in press conferences,
you got the head coach sort of see me clueless
about it. It's just a mess for Miami. I think
if there's a chance for the Browns to get a win.
This feels like it, and I think a lot of
it will have to do with Quinn Shawn Judskins getting
a ton of touches and doing big things with the
football in his hand. So there you go. That was
Who Will Deliver, presented by Uber Eats, where you can
