Speaker 1 (00:04):
NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
partnership with Iheartradiot.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Right.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Welcome to Game debut. Patrick Clavland here with Cynthia Freeland.
We are in missing Man formation because Greg Rosenthal is
still in Europe.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
He's in London for Vikings rounds.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
But we remain and we're gonna get the picks everybody
without Greg because we could.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Still do this.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
Yeah, I mean, he's out there just living the life
the international traveler.
Speaker 5 (00:30):
He's just everywhere.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
And we'll be waiting right here in this little old room,
just waiting for Gray to come back.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
You know, that's our main job here is to wait
for Greg. But don't sweat just Greg Nation. We'll have
all of his game picks coming up. But right now,
let's update you on our picks contest that we do
here on game debut, and you might notice a little
bit of a change. I'm gonna wear that crown because
all it takes is draining all joy from your existence
and picking the Kansas City Chiefs to beat Lamar Jackson
(00:56):
in the Baltimore Ravens. And so I have improved the
thirty nine and thirty four and yes we have confetti
I have a crown and an actual which says how
confident everybody is that I can remain.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
At the top of this picks contest.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
But yes, I will celebrate this and yeah, no, no, no, rulers,
we're you know, ultimately we're best as a team.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
And when we share had stars.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
In it, I think it's a special sign. Usually we
don't get stars.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
They're they're stars.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
It's the stars represent the points scored against the Dallas
Cowboys defense. I might be the current picks leader, but
the Eagles are the real champs, and they busted out
a little creativity last week.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Barkley is back in the game.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
They're gonna touch push.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Perch fake stones Barkley. They faked a touch push.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
They give it to Barkley around the outside on the
left and he goes in. So the four and O Eagles,
who are completely happy and drama free, play host to
the Denver Broncos. Denver put a beat down on the
Bengals Monday, and I Greg Rosendal is taking the Broncos
to beat the Eagles.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Here more on that later. What do you think happens?
Speaker 4 (02:09):
SI? I was gonna say, we're just gonna gloss over
that yes, Hey, you.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Know I have not it fair enough.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I have the Eagles winning, but just by one point
twenty two to twenty one. I want to talk about
that faux Toush push and the actual tush push because
the run game is a.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Source of an advantage.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
Now, I don't think passing against this Broncos defense is
the best opportunity. But not only are you seeing this
toush push have a high level of efficiency and efficacy,
but you're also seeing when they bluff, which I don't
know if you've heard this yet because we just talk
about it on every single freaking show that we're on together.
But ultimately I think that teams should be using bluffs
more often. Offensive coordinators need to go find a Coker
(02:48):
player to learn how to be an exceptional bluffer, because
this is where you have a huge advantage, especially against
a defense like the Broncos, who are so good in
the pass rush. They're so good at generating sexy, so
good at having Pats Ortan shut down your number one
wide receiver. So those small edges are massive deals.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Yeah, gotta make plays based off of the thing that
you're very, very good at. And also the coach on
the other sideline is a passionate defender of the Eagles
right to run the play that they're very good at.
Sean Payton on record that, but I've also got a
close Birds win twenty five to twenty two. I think
the offense we'll be dealing with the pressure, and I
understand that the Broncos defense can provide a lot of pressure.
But the number one quick pressure team in the entire
(03:28):
NFL is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that the
Eagles had a lot of success in the first half
against last week. The real difference was on defense against
the Bucks. Quinnon Mitchell allowed just two receptions on nine
targets last week.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
The Bucks lost five point.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Seven EPA when targeting Quinnon Mitchell last week. So non
Sutton Broncos might have to make a play or two
in this one.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Roy Franklin, Coll Troy, come on, Evan Ingram.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
We enjoyed spending time with in the preseason with the
Denver Broncos. But folks, if you want to talk about
the Broncos, Greg is taking it could be just a
little bit of a make good with Nick Benito, because
Greg saw Jake Browning have a lot of trouble with
the Vikings defense, and he sent out this tweet, you know,
just picking up the Vikings for what they did, noting
(04:18):
the Broncos were next on the schedule, said the Vikings
defense is so good, Jake Browning will be relieved to.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Face the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
And after chasing Jake Browning up and down the field,
Nick Benito immediately went to social media website Twitter dot
com to unleash some crying, laughing emojis.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Fun stuff. It's don for Who's Eaten Good?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Presented by Applebee's Cynthia bo Nicks lit up the Bengals
Monday night for three hundred and twenty six passing yards
more or less than two sixteen against the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Okay, I think that he has two hundred and forty two,
which is significantly more than two hundred and sixteen passing yards.
I'm looking at his opportunity, just like you talked about,
to target specific defenders with specific body type mismatches. You know,
Sean Payton loves those big body receivers, and some of
their defensive backs aren't quite the biggest guys out there.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
The Broncos sitting at two and two right now, the
rival Chiefs have the same record, and they look pretty
good last week. Loaded the left side, the homeskos left
to touchdown.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
I mean, you're playing one of the better teams in
the NFL.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
You know you're not to be a little bit more
addressive holding left side.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Don't you protect off the fire hanging your side touchdown?
Speaker 5 (05:24):
I thought we actually had a high level and crucial situations.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Between the one and the five down the Royals and
the end zide a third touchdown pass by the Mahomes.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
And we had a good game plan going in and
we knew we had to raise our game and.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Ama Homes throws the un Mahomes has four TD passes
into the land of the Sweet Doctor Chiefs in Jags
down in Duval. Jacksonville is three and one on the season.
But Greg is rolling with Casey? Which way are you
leaning something?
Speaker 4 (05:51):
You tell Greg to keep his name out of my
or my name out of his mill? Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
I messed up anywhere.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
I have Kansas City winning this but only by two
points twenty three to twenty one in this matchup?
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Why because of Xavier Worthies return.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
The difference for Patrick Mahomes between when he's on the
field versus when he's off and I don't even want
to say in the past catching game, I'm talking about
yards per play in general, it's like over a yard
different per play.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
That's massive. The gadget plays are back, the trick playser back.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Jujus Smith Schuster gets to do that dance it I'm
not even sure what it is.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
I'm not cool enough to know what the.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Dance is anymore, but I am smart enough to know
that when number one is on the field, things change
for the entire offense.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
The opportunity to rush.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Out of the shotgun, all of these things that are
small advantages which do matter. Against a team that leads
the league in takeaways, that's a huge deal.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
You're reminding me of the big, the dark period in
our nation's timeline when the biggest issue was Jujus smiths Hu's.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Susi relationship with TikTok.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
How far we've come since then, and I know I
was able to I actually.
Speaker 5 (06:51):
Would rather our biggest issue Jus.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Yeah, it was a fun memory, and I know I
was able to get this crown based off of taking
the Kansas City Chiefs to win. But I've seen what
it's like on that side, and I don't want to
be there longer. I've got the Jacksonville Jaguars in duvals
right out to William Carroll twenty six to twenty.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
One because weather, it's all.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
One of these teams can run the ball consistently, and
I know Kansas City had a lot of success at
just one of the worst.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Defenses in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Not so quietly last week, Traves ten's leading the entire
NFL in yards per Carrie, second in the.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
League in rushing yards.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Cindy, do you know that's the best yards per Carrey
season in JAG's history among qualifiers.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Maurice Jones Stree, it's our coworker and friend, Maurice Jones Drew.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Enough, Yes to get that. You're to say is traves Ets.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
It's not Travis Ets, but if he's on pace to
do so, it's four games.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
But if you're matching our GYMJD.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Then yeah, I'm gonna take the Jacksonville Jaguars for our
next matchup.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Let's head across the Atlantic Ocean to London. Welcome to London, English.
The women a matter of funding.
Speaker 7 (07:54):

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Let's talk some more about this matchup.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
The Vikings coming off of a loss to the Steelers
in Ireland, while the Browns have decided they're starting rookie
Dylan Gabriel at quarterback. Greg is there for the game,
so let's send it to him for more.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
What's up, guys, I am here in London doing the
best that I can, kind of like Carson Wentz and
Dylan Gabriel are going to do on Sunday. These defenses
are gonna dominate in this Vikings Browns matchup. It's the
lowest I'm over under of any game all year. I
ultimately like the Vikings to win seventeen to sixteenth.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
You can call it nasty.
Speaker 8 (09:14):
I call it defense, and both of these defensive lines
are awesome. Sacks, turnovers and maybe a late defensive score
for the Vikings. They're the better organization, they get the win.
I cannot wait to see you guys next week.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
We can't wait to see you Greg without all of
the things going on.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Was it baby's diaper being check?
Speaker 2 (09:36):
You know?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Sometimes when it's time, it's time. Greg has the Vikings
by one. How about you, Cynthia.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
I have the Vikings by six twenty two to sixteen.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
I really think that that one was changing a baby
stiper behind him. But anyways, I'm looking at this one
and I'm talking.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
About Justin Jefferson.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
The difference between Justin Jefferson with Jordan Addison. There was massive,
so much space to work with, so many opportunities. Both
guys had over one hundred yards. It was a nice
way to see the sort of return of the passing offense. Now,
I understand it didn't result in a win, but one
area where they do match up well. The Browns play
(10:13):
a lot of man defense and they've actually given up
the most touchdowns in man seven in the entire NFL.
And Justin Jefferson he figures to make well on that right,
do a good job against it.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, I've got the Vikings by a bit more twenty
three to twelve twelve. Yeah, because our chances to talk
Browns are kind of limited. Let's discuss Harold Fanning Junior,
the all time single season record holder in college football
history for receptions by a tight end, is oddly enough
getting at opportunities to catch yeah for the Cleveland Browns,
and last week against the Lions has slowed that down
(10:46):
a bit. As you know, Kirby and Brian Branch do
tend to cause problems for other tight ends. If the
Browns make it the twelve points, I think there's a
lot of forty four getting action. But yes, mean us away.
We are all taking the Minnesota Vikings to win. In London.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
The handoff Walker, he breaks a tackle coming to the
New York side.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
I never know what to do in those situations where
the bat comes back around.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
I'm like, because you want to, like Sam rules out
near your side.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Throw his baby, keep rolling, keep going. Then you're sick O.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's what I'm talking about, Bro.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
I'm gonna be honest, Sam, it looked like you didn't
know what to do when the bat came back around.
Tom Form sees the season presented by Caesar Sportsbook. As
we get a look at the first touchdown score odds
according to our friends at Caesar's Kenneth Walker, Rashad White
and Zach Charbonay, Jackson Smith and Jigua and a Mecca
at Buka with Kenneth Walker leading the way in a
fun matchup between two good teams, the Bucks and the
(12:04):
Seahawks up in Seattle, both teams three and one, both
teams led by former Panthers quarterbacks during the Matt Rule
era that we don't like to talk about that much.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Greg's going with the Seahawks. How do you feel about
this one, Cynthia.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Well, maybe you're the first the voice of dissent, because
I too, am going with the Seahawks twenty three to
twenty one in this smashup.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
And now I'm very confused with.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
What you're gonna say, but one of the things I know,
I kind of can't wait. One of the things that
I really like about Seattle's defense is their ability to
get pressure with only rushing for guys.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
It's a huge advantage, especially.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
When the injury report looks like Theirs does with some
of their defensive backs showing up on it. It allows
you to drop back into coverage with some of your
linebacker level players, So it really lessens the blow that
could happen if you're having to leverage the blitz in
order to get pressure on a posting quarterback. So I
think this team is very much for real. I think
this defense is extra special for real. In fact, it's
(12:58):
right up there. I just think we need to do
a better job as a branding exercise, right, we need to, like,
it needs a better like a catch your name, like
the Seahawks defense. You can't call it the Legion of
Boom two or something, but everything is a like a
remake these days.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
So Legion of Boom two, I don't know, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Like the Sea Tac Exporters or something.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Woo, yeah, there you go.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
The voice of dissent is Gregor.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
Here's here.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Greg Rosenthal has his thirteen point game. I've got a
one point game. Cynthia has a two point game in
this one. I have Seattle a winning home where the
home road splits are just weird for the Seattle Seahawks.
I don't think that that's anything we should consistently buy into.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
It's one of those just odd happenstance.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Of numbers that it matters who you play in.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
When you play certain teams, like certain teams in your division,
they're good.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
But I am buying Sam Darnold.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
He's completing north of sixty percent of his downfield passes,
matching a trend from last year with Minnesota. When he's clean,
he's having a ten yards per completion, which is a
stat that Cynthia just actually remembered and I had to
look up at like the sweating to get those numbers out.
So it wasn't just Kevin O'Connell. Sam loves the deep ball.
But being honest that the Tempa Bay Buccaneers are very hurt.
(14:06):
This is a very long trip and they've got a lot.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
To deal with.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
It's a an accomplishment for them to be three to
one with the injuries that they've had.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Seize the season. Brought to you by Caesars Sportsbook. New

Speaker 3 (14:17):

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Must be twenty one or older.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
See Caesars dot com slash promos in order to get
the full terms. Good news for the Washington Commanders. Their
star quarterback Jaydon Daniels has been cleared by doctors and
was a full participant in practice this week. Daniels missed
the last two games with the knee injury. During his absence,
Washington was able to go one and one. Jade's got
(14:45):
Justin Herbert and the Chargers Sunday, the Bolts coming off
of their first loss of the season.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Terry McLaurin gonna miss this game. Which way are you leaning, Cynthy.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
I'm leaning towards the home team winning, but by a
pretty narrow margin, just two points. I have twenty four
to twenty two in this matchup. But I'm looking at
what's going on with their rookie running, especially considering what's
going on with the Chargers O line with both tackles
now not playing so Rashaun Slater before the season and
then now Joe Alt. It's going to be extra special
(15:15):
important for the run game to be efficient, so that
Justin Herbert can stay as efficient as he has been with.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
A lot of pressure. Last week, that was what happened
with the Giants.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
They were pressuring him a forty seven percent forty eight
percent clip. That is very hard for anyone to sustain.
Whereas Omari and Hampton's coming on, He's shouldering some of
these blocks.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
He's helping in all of the schemes.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
This kid's doing great. He's also finding his way into
the end zone. So fantasy managers.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
They're pretty happy too.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
But I'm talking about the real football part of it,
which is help the O line, the backup O lineman
out and keep your quarterback out of harm's way.
Speaker 5 (15:48):
Two point win home team.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, it was a lot of Justin Herbert having to
deal with Thibodeau and Abdullah Carter in that matchup where
you worry about the Bolts.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
I was worried.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I initially had the Washington Commanders winning this game, but
then I saw that video of the leg Barrice on
Dan Daniel in practice, and then I saw a little
bit of Jaden Daniels in the in the pregame newser
on Friday on Thursday saying we'll see on Sunday, So
go ahead and switch my pick around.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I'm actually taking the Chargers. Yeah, oh no, We've already
got switched. Just a meme alert.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Yes, I'm taking the Chargers here because the whole pregame
we'll see on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Like, how do you feel thing?
Speaker 3 (16:30):
I'm a little bit out on that, but celebrating why
not the Washington Commanders run game because it's very good.
It's the actual reason I initially picked them. In this game,
they're averaging five point nine yards to carry. They've run
for the second most yards in the league this season,
and a lot of that comes with their backup quarterback
playing in Marcus Marotto, who played very well. I think
(16:53):
it's a tough task to ask half of Jayden Daniels.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Perhaps we'll see on Sunday. Either way, the confidence was.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Not inspired, so I was not able to inspire an
upset pick on the road in Sofar Stadium on Sunday.
Speaker 9 (17:07):
Play clock down to pour on first and ten for
the twenty eight takes.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
The snap takes, the throat of the flat looks.
Speaker 9 (17:13):
Now the sideline, He's got kincaid, who's gonna walk it
in for a twenty three yard touchdown. Oh, they got
the Saints fighting on that one, and it's easy, peasy, lemon.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Squeeze get that's citrus.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
On Sunday Night, the Patriots and the undefeated Bills, New
England destroyed the Panthers last week. Despite his Patriots fandom,
Greg has the Bills winning here.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
What are your thoughts on there? Oh?
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Greg, he's a little trader to the Patriots.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Well, I have Buffalo winning thirty to twenty two and
eight point victory because I believe that the Bills offense
will control the ball with James Cook and also Josh Allen.
But I'm looking at James Cook here specifically because I
want to compliment this O line. Not only are they
great to their quarterback, allowing him the least pressure rate,
the lowest pressure rate in the league, but they're also
(18:02):
great run blocking for James Cook, which is why you
see him getting the end zone so often. The play
calling works really well with both of their skill sets,
their run game, the short passing game. What this dynamic
back can do is going to be a hard task,
even for the Patriots front, which.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
Has played very well.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
You're seeing Josh Allen leverage you short passes and rely
on Yak. A lot of that is because that's the
way that they're confusing all of the different defenders. I
think that's a huge advantage. I think James Cook also
c cenzone.
Speaker 8 (18:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
The ability to.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Get that yards after catch is a big part of
this Bill's offense. And another big part of being able
to do that is having playmakers that can do it
and Khalil Shakir is one of the best ones going
on the outside when they need plays in the short
passing game.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
He's the one.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
It's been two weeks since Josh Allen has thrown a
pass to Khalil Shakir that didn't result in yards, and
last week's big.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Play that you're seeing right here tacked on.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
An additional forty two yards after catch over expectation. If
only the Bill's defense could make some similar plays, which
is why we all three have a lot of points
in this one.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
But me and Muscle ok we have all taken the
Buffalo Bills thanks to spectacular children.
Speaker 3 (19:09):

Speaker 2 (19:34):
It's time for more or less.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Let's discuss some player props for this week's Vikings Browns
game in London. First one going to Ucynthia Carson Wentz
more or less than two hundred and eight passing.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
Two hundred and eight passing years.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
I have fewer than that less than that, not because
I don't think the vike'sier to win. We already talked
about who we have the winner being. But I think
that the smart play here will be to keep Carson
Wentz out of arms way.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
So perhaps slowing down the pace.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
I know this is not a defe that you can
target in the run game at all. They're the best
run defense in the league. In fact, they're the best
total defense.
Speaker 5 (20:10):
In the league.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
So being smart about playing slow, taking time off the clock,
maybe committing to the run even if it doesn't give
you a ton of yards per carry, that will be
the way to do it.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
All right, let's go over to the other side.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Dylan Gabriel makes his first career start against the Minnesota
Vikings defense.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Will he throw one touchdown? Yes?
Speaker 3 (20:28):
I think actually will Dylan Gabriel with an opportunity came in.
It looked pretty good in the preseason in spots he
gets a chance to throw. Being left handed, perhaps to
sneak up and surprise the Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
You know, it's not.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Often you get a chance to play against the left
handed quarterback. I again don't necessarily think the game is
going to be that close, but hey, I think Dylan
Gabriel gets a chance to put one into.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
The scoring region.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Next one for you, Cynthia over or under seventeen carries
for Jordan Mason.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Oh, I mean, look, I told you that it is
the number one run defense.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
But Ian O'Connell also.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Knows this, and he can scheme up some opportunities to
be smart with the football, especially on early downs. We
saw what happened when Carson Wentz tried to throw in
between the hashes last week. You know what, two times
a pick by the same person. They don't want that
to happen again. So smart run schemes a lot of attempts.
That will be the formula. You may not see this
(21:27):
kind of yards after contact or yards before contact for
that matter, but ultimately I think the commitment to the
run game will still be there.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
Didn't say yards, it says attempts.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yes, attempts and being committed to the run game is
what I also think of the Cleveland Browns and this
one more less than seventy four yards for quin Shawn Jupkins. Yeah,
you put the ball in the rookies' hands to keep
the ball out of the hands of the other rookie
who was making his first career start against Brian Flores's
defense in a different country. By the way, Curly I ever, Yeah,
so go ahead and load up quin Shawn Judkins with
(21:59):
carries and opportunities, and I think seventy four and a
half rush yards is something you can feel confident about.
Let's go back to the other side, because Jordan Addison
had over one hundred yards in his season debut.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Will he go over forty one this week?
Speaker 5 (22:11):
What's that number?
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Year? Forty one?
Speaker 4 (22:13):
But I don't know if I this doesn't really need
much context. Jordan Addison.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
Yards yards, forty one, forty one. Yeah, he's going to
go over forty one yards.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
In fact, I think that the opportunity here is to
take advantage of they've had some injuries to that secondary.
It's not like they've had a full slate of extremely
healthy cornerback. What are we talking about here, man coverage? Yeah,
they're okay, they're okay.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, they catched the.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Passes as far as receiving tandems and yes, this is.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
They're going to say eighty one a very.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Good Browns defense. Eighty one, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
That would be that would be a much different I'd
have to think about that one for a second. Forty
one he was a little low.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Yeah, get Carson a couple opportunities again on the outside.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
We'll keep him out of the middle of the field.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Last one, Justin Jefferson, seventy yards. Yeah, I'm going to
go more, just because it's a requirement at this point.
Fource feed justin Jefferson upset a couple of weeks now
the formula's out.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Wan, I know something funny. Yeah, he has thirty yards.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Then he becomes the guy with the most international receiving yards.
Right now it's Stevie Johnson who has like, I don't
know about thirty yards more than the three hundred and
sixty five that this man already has. And that was
all in Canada, so he's got to do it in
multiple coinds. Oh my gosh, just saying, you know, we're
full of facts here, useless.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Knowledge yards plus miles traveled. It's oh my god.
Speaker 5 (23:30):
Well that's a new metric. Give me next gen stats
on the phone right now.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Speaking of this game in London, let's take a look
at the remaining international games on the NFL schedule this season.
You get a chance to see this one coming up
in London on Sunday, and then the Broncos taking on
the Jets at Tottenham Hotspurres Stadium at Wimbley.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
It will be the Rams and the Jags.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Over at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, the Falcons taking on
the Colts, and the Commanders and the Fins.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Will wrap it up in Madrid.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
NFL action in Spain, closing out the international series in
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
I love saying Tottenham Hawks fu out there.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
It is.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
It's so fun.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
My accent is very poor, so I don't want to
disrespect the people. It's time for the two minute drill,
presented by the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card. Let's
make some very very quick picks here. The Lions and
the Bengals in the jungle. I've got your line smashing
them for the score of fifty to nineteen.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
How do you feel.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
I mean, I like your score better, but I have
thirty one to ten appointment a little.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Bit more conservative for me. I like that.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
The sum of the running back parts are actually greater
than each individual one together, right, the whole is greater
than the sum.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
If you look at what they're doing.
Speaker 4 (24:36):
David Montgomery and Jabeer Gibs together each rank like tenth
most in Forcemith tackles or tenth most in yards after
Forcemith tackles, but together they ranked third and fourth in
those metrics respectively. So David Montgomery, welcome back to your
fantasy team. After Oh, I love the Lion, Hi hor
Hi Rory love.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Forry, I just want to say that Greg's score of
thirty three to nine is far more disrespectful than fifty
to nineteen.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
I have the most respectful one.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
Yes, which is something the Angles deserve. In twenty twenty five,
the Dolphins and Cardinals Miami got their first win last Monday,
but lost Tyreek Hill. I've got the Panthers winning this
one at home.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
With t mac putting on a show.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Tetrolad McMillan in pressman coverage means Rice is throwing in
the ball forty one percent of the time, which is
good for top ten in the league at that rate,
and with the Finns being in the top third of
the league playing Pressman out wide. It maybe plays into
one of the Panthers' strengths here. And also the Panthers
gotta win one more game. If it's not this one
at home, I don't.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Know where the win that they've just got to.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
It's gotta have at some point. The Titans and the Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Last week after Tennessee lost, cam Ward was very honest
about what farm animal the team reminded him of.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Does he get his first win this week.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
I'm going to keep it a buck and say, no,
it's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
I sure say what Camp said.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
He said, just keep it a buck.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Okay, that's the first part of what he said.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Right, I didn't. I've just you know, quote dot dot dot.
There's an ellipsees there.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
I'm looking at Marvin Harrison Junior in this matchup to
again reach the end zone. I saw something pretty great
from this young man.
Speaker 5 (26:10):
I'm so old now I can say that.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
But it was a frustrating start to the season. I mean,
if you look at Kyler Murray's stats, he's having one
of his worst statistical seasons ever. And when you're watching
some of these drops and then you find him, you know,
working through this when you have that last name and
the type of pressure he's under. I can't factor it
into math, but I'm really like, I get inspired watching him.
It's very It's cool to see someone work through something
(26:32):
difficult and come out in the other end. So, I
don't know, I think it's gonna be a factor in
this one too, especially since with the Titans you can
target them in the past catching game.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Yeah, it's interesting to see both of these teams kind
of try to find out what they want to be offensively,
and for the Tennessee Titans, I think a win is
coming at some point, and considering the way that cam
Ward and you want to flip it, No, I'm gonna
say We're keep it a bucket, keep it very comfortable,
keeping it a buck Shout out to camp coming up, folks.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Have you gone over to the dark side? Who Jackson?
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Dark Giants rook quarterback taking the league by storm? With
lots of hugs for Brian dave Ball. Can he and
the g men take care of business once again? An
encore in Sunday.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
In New Orleans. Let you know what we.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
Think coming up next? On game debut, it's.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
Back and standing and fires at left in.
Speaker 9 (27:28):
Its top pickt shuck us away, ten Fie pickings, pil
on picking.
Speaker 6 (27:35):
Touchdown, touchdown, touchdown.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
It's time for the read presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
Microsoft co Pilot, your AI companion for NFL game Day
and every day we ask Microsoft co Pilot for the
key storylines to watch, and Sunday's Cowboys Jets matchup the
battle between a couple of first year head coaches, Dallas
being in polar opposite ends of the spectrum with their
offense and defense, the Jets still looking for that first win,
(28:00):
and injury concerns for both teams.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Rounding out the co Pilot Week five preview.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Let's dive into this game, Dallas coming off of tie
versus the Packers, the Jets still looking for the first
win for the fifth straight week.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Greg wrott Ball, tell everyone what our researcher told us
about Jess Greg Nation.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Yeah, folks, in Jess Greg Nation. If Greg had stopped
picking the Jets, you would be undefeated in just Greg's
this season. Unfortunately, he's been wrong every single week while
taking the Jets. So I will take the Cowboys here
twenty eight to twenty six, and I will really not
even discuss the defense. I just want to heap praise
Cynthia on Rain Dakota Prescott. His completion percentage over expected
(28:39):
is eight point nine right now. He's playing out of
his mind. There were so many situations where it's like, oh, one,
are the.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Cowboys gonna do? They just kept scoring against the Packers
and it still wasn't even enough. They left with the tie.
I think it might be enough going up against.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
The Jets, Well, we're gonna make it another just Greg,
he's doing it again. He's doing it again with the
Jets by three points.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
There. No, I'm not doing it.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
I'm gonna take the Cowboys twenty six to twenty four,
even with two of their offensive linemen, even with true
of their offensive lineman.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
I'm playing.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
I want to talk about Jake Ferguson for a second,
because we don't give him enough luff. No, the guy's
like just out here doing things that are high volume,
high reception, like the like the most among tight ends,
the second most in the.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
League, thirty four.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
I mean he's doing things that are making up for
the fact, not completely, you can never make up for
not having Ceedee Lamb, but really helping the team out
in a time when the pass catching situation has been
depleted due to injuries. You know who's just getting those
yak going out there taking those hard hits.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
It's jack Yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
And I feel like we.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
People like oh George Pickens because he does say funny
things about not knowing ties existed, for example, But ultimately
Jake Ferguson is helping them get from first down to
another first down without having to wait another whole possession.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
So you know, I think.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Dak, who leads the league in passing yards, would also agree.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
He's pretty happy with this tight end.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
Yeah, we'll move.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
From the Cowboys over to their division opponent, the Giants.
Jackson Dark shot the world in his debut performance last week.
Making you hear is for Jackson Guard, who makes his
first NFL start to Giant run.
Speaker 9 (30:23):
Uptimy goes to the take the cup, puts down Giants.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Jack sit guy bet a quarterback run from fifteen.
Speaker 7 (30:29):
Knocks out and it's smart start against the Giants.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
The league little shovel past the Focazi makes the catch
ten of the NZL putsdown Giants, and the Giants have
won for the first time this year.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
At jackson Guards first ever start, a big pre much.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
He already had Homeschans prepared. Darton the g Men going
to New Orleans. Greg is taking the Giants in this one.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
But I will roll with the Saints twenty three to
twenty one because while the Giants consistently dominated up front
against the banged up Chargers unit, when players got free
in the secondary, they did what players have done against
the Giants since last year, get big plays. It was
a consistent thing for the Giants, and I think there's
an opportunity for Spencer Rattler and the Saints at home,
(31:15):
and not just Rattler, Juan Johnson, but especially Rashid Shahid.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Like looking back.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
At that Omari and Hampton long run, the Quentin Johnston play.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
There's so many plays throughout this season.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Where the Giants secondary has been watching somebody run and
chasing them from behind, and I think the Saints may
be able to get those big plays and get a
big win at home.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
Drew Philips is confusing. Sometimes he's good. Sometimes it's it's
very confusing. Anyways, I do have New Orleans, but just
by one point twenty two to twenty one.
Speaker 5 (31:43):
I do want to give a little love too. It's
a just criggd.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Greg loves New York.
Speaker 5 (31:48):
He loves good Apple.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
When he comes back, we should.
Speaker 5 (31:50):
We should definitely do that for Rim.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
But I'm looking at what Dexter Lawrence was able to
do up front. Now, listen, this one was just a
little bit more fun because it doesn't always happen when
a big guy does something like this.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (32:02):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (32:03):
Yeah, he intercepted the football and when asked about that
run after and why he didn't end up going to
the the end zone, he said he was hired. And
you know what, I don't blame him. That is a
chunky man. That is a chunky play. Wouldn't you say that?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
All?
Speaker 3 (32:16):
Yes, in the soup aisle, there's an option for Dexter
Lawrence and that's a big.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
Man, but big man chunky play.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Justin Herbert, just a little bit faster than sexy Dexies.
Here are the highest wind totals according to our friends
and Caesar Sports Books. The Buffalo Bills leading the way,
a game ahead of the Eagles, who are a game
ahead of the Lions and Rams, the Packers one game
behind them, the Chiefs and the Chargers, forty nine Ers
and Buccaneers all sitting there at ten and a half
(32:45):
and with us at this point about a quarter or what,
you know, the number of games you're gonna have to
get into the decimals.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
There, so there's no clear quarter point through the regular season.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
We're about there. So let's talk some win totals. We'll
get the fingers out. I we'll start with the undefeated Bills, Cynthia.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
They are four and zero. They end up with more
or less than that thirteen and a half number. That's
a lot of wins.
Speaker 5 (33:06):
That's a lot of wins. I went through their schedule,
I double checked it.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
I'm usually a very conservative modeler, very and it's very
hard for me to not have them with more than
thirteen and a half wins, barring, of course, something unforeseen,
but other than that, as they are right now, even
with their defense the way it is, it ends up
at like thirteen point seven, which is more than thirteen
point five.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Yeah, it's more.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
It's more, and that's all there is more, you know,
one anymore, any little bit is more an infinite testimon number.
Flipping over to the only other four and zero team,
the Eagles over under twelve and a half wins with
the team in disarray, Yeah, disarray four to no, even
though the conversation about them will feel like they're falling apart.
(33:50):
I've got the Eagles hitting that number and going north
of it. They've got the Giants swice and the Bears
and the Raiders remanding on the schedule.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
They split with the Commanders, they beat the Cowboys. That
pretty much almost gets them there.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
So yeah, I've got the Eagles surviving their horror four
and oh start to get north at twelve and a
half one.
Speaker 5 (34:06):
I'm gonna be honest, I think this is the way
Eagles fans like it.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
They like being a little unhappy. I have a lot
of Eagles fan friends, and I love them very much,
but they would be lost without complaining about something about
the Eagles.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
They want to They want to be like that coach
that has a big win but something goes wrong. Now
team the Steelers are on a buy so they can't
lose this week. They're on top of the AFC North
at three.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
And one, more or less than eight and a half wins.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Fans, I'm not gonna be Look, I'm just gonna get
based on math, and it comes up as eight point four.
There are some asterix for some question marks here, not
the least of which include injuries to their defense. Yes,
they won a game that I didn't expect them to
against the Vikings in terms of how the model works out, but.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
Remember every remaining.
Speaker 4 (34:49):
Game isn't necessarily a fifty to fifty split. So when
I'm looking at the opportunities here, perhaps a few more
deep passes would shift that to eight point seven wins
eight point eight, but we haven't seen it yet, so
right now it's eight point four.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Pocklingly, the Houston Texans took until Week four to get
their first win of the season.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Last week. They're over under a six and a half wins,
and I.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Actually have them going under here, as the Titans are
the only reprieve in the division at the moment. For
the Houston Texans, the rest of the schedule includes games
in Seattle, Los Angeles, and KC. I think they get
to six, but Cynthia that that half the little hook
begins to be a problem, and I start to worry.
(35:32):
There in a rough season for the Houston Texans thus far,
I think it continues.
Speaker 5 (35:37):
Sometimes you maybe need an old line that works. Yeah,
maybe invest in your own line.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Laramie Tunzel's having a lot of success in our nation's capital.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Time for quick picks here on game debut. Speaking of
the Texans.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
They got the Ravens on Sunday. Lamar Jackson probably out
with a hamstring troth.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
Now hold on, eh, well, we'll.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Cooper Rush save the season, at least save this week.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Cooper Rush is a winner, man, look it up. Baltimore
wins twenty three through twenty one. I like Kooper Rush,
but I want to talk about Dereck Henry because he's
really the catalyst for this. There are so many pieces
of this Ravens offense that are banged up, but one
thing I can tell you about Dereck Henry outside runs,
especially because that is a very vulnerable point of this
(36:19):
Texans defense. This is going to be where that big
you know you Always in my head, I close my
eyes and think of Dereck Henry, just his perfect posture,
running really really fast into the end zone along the
you know, just along, not in the middle like we're seeing,
but over on the edge. That is what he does,
and that is where the Texans are vulnerable. So as
banged up as are, the Ravens can still figure this
(36:40):
one out.
Speaker 5 (36:41):
Per my math. Two points.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
Yeah, just to ultimately keep it very simple because with Lamar,
obviously they're one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL,
but they sometimes try to do a little too much
and the offensive line can get lost, especially Pololio over
there at Gardens.
Speaker 5 (36:55):
We have to do the thing ready, Yes.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Greg, Greg has taken the Houston Texans here, but we
are both taking the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
The Raiders and the.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Colts both squads with devastating losses in Week four. But
I think the Colts bounced back here and win at
twenty four to nineteen, and their rookie phenom gets an
opportunity to be displayed once again because Tyler Warrens leads
old tight ends and the entire NFL in receiving yards,
and not just that, his two hundred and sixty three
yards the most in NFL history for a tight end
(37:27):
through four games. Like Rock Bouers, maybe watch out, it
might happen again the year after you.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Did it after waiting like twenty five years to do
it the first time.
Speaker 5 (37:37):
I mean, I'm with you completely.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Also, like somewhat strange that Xavi and Howard just retired
on Wednesday of this week, so perhaps a Trey Tucker
fun If you are looking for an injury replacement in
fantasy football, perhaps you could suggest that because there aren't
a lot of options here with only fourteen games, and
if you somehow miss Thursday or the early game, maybe
Trey Tucker touchdown. Trying to be positive here for Raiders
fans drue.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Because the significant fall off between Trey Tucker's Week three
fantasy performance and Week four was significant.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Maybe it's like a trend up down, up, down, back up.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
This week when we come back here, it's time to
get your pen and paper.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Write this down is on the way.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
Cynthia and I went four and oh last week your
favorite crops For Week five, we are on fire.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
Boom Shaka Laca, shout out to NBA JAM for those
who remember it. More game debut.
Speaker 6 (38:26):
Is coming up next.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
Snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football Continues in London,
presented by NetApp Justin Jefferson and the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Versus Miles Garrett and the Browns.
Speaker 3 (38:43):

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Streaming with NFL Plus and scripts required.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
For NFL Plus, visit plus NFL dot com for terms
it's sign for write this down as I am getting
my pen and paper ready because we have player predictions
and props for week five.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
We were flawless last Week's.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
No pressure for us this week, so why don't you
start us off here?
Speaker 4 (39:08):
So he's write down the name David Montgomery to score
a touchdown.
Speaker 5 (39:13):
The Lions are playing the Bengals. He is from the
Cincinnati area.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
I believe this is his first time playing in Cincinnati.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
This will be a special one for him.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
His sister Kiki was unfortunately paralyzed in an accident, believe
earlier maybe February of this year, and he will be
playing for her in this matchup.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
As if this man needs to be any.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
More motivated, you see it the way he runs, you
see it in his work ethic. But I think that
will be a very special effort for him, and I
believe that this is the kind of Lions team that
will find a special touchdown for him, so he can
do whatever whatever their sign is, We'll know what it is.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
Yeah, some fun dance or whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
If we had to have a team that will rally
around somebody in that circumstance, it's definitely edition of the
Detroit Lions, who look a lot better as the season
has gone on with Morton calling the plays. And I'm confident,
in fact, I've never been more confident that a team
is going to score fifty points. I have got you
to write this down to the Lions minus ten and
(40:08):
a half. They will clear that because again, they are
going to score fifty points against the Cincinnati Bengals defense.
They've come close, not necessarily trying, in previous weeks, and
we've seen amon Ra Saint Brown. They scored Jared Goff
through Amorra touchdown. They already had thirty six points and
they both jumped into the stands. Forty five points. They're
(40:31):
in the stands celebrating. They won't do that because they're
in Cincinnati. But I think they'll have plenty of touchdowns
to score.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
So, I mean, they seem to be having a lot
of funs.
Speaker 4 (40:39):
Yo, I'm into it. I'm into it all right. My
next one right down. This one's a little bit more risky.
But Ashton genty to score a touchdown. He had three
last week. I'm not projecting three. I'm just saying once here.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
Why because I think that they figured out.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
His stance when you look at how he lined up
his actual physical body stance in college. They tried to
change it. It was not working. Do you know what
they did? They changed it back the thing that makes
you work, you know, make sure that it ends up
doing something that you know works.
Speaker 5 (41:09):
For God forbid, you know, we have our.
Speaker 4 (41:11):
Boss do something that enhances what we are already so
good at. So I believe this will end up in
pay dirt dividends this weekend.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Yeah, good on Pete Carroll for going over to his
running back and offensive quarter.

have over thirty nine receiving arts against the Giants, and
if I had to take a pick, I would say
(41:43):

Speaker 2 (41:43):

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Cynthia going with the running.
Speaker 5 (41:57):

Speaker 3 (41:59):

studio next week for Cynthia Freeland. I'm Patrick Claibon. Thanks,
