I too am picking the Baltimore Ravens, but just by
one point twenty four twenty three. It turns out having
Justin Mattabika not there nom the Matta bk excuse me
not there is a big problem. And that's why it's
just a one point win. But I'm looking at Derrick
Henry and I know some people have had some questions,
what's going on these fumbles? What's going on with Derrick Henry?
And I'm telling you that he is going to be

to help. We saw him return last week against the Lions.
He was there on Crusil Down's third down in the
red area when they needed to get another first down,
they relied on Mark Andrews. All of whatever happened in

home team, the Kansas City Chiefs getting a win against Baltimore. Yes,
I'll take a stray band against my team, and Philip
will accuse me of a reverse jinx. But I'm thinking
back to Labar in that game, not necessarily having anywhere

to go, waiting for guys to get open. The guy
on the other side, Patrick Mahomes, He's not waiting for
guys to get open because the Kansasity Chiefs aren't getting open.
He's having to do it all by himself. He scrambled
on fifteen point three percent of his dropbacks this season.
The Chiefs have nine explosive rushes all season long. Seven
of them are Patrick Mahomes scrambling. He's got the team

on his back, and I think that's good enough for
him to maintain a streak of not having three losses
in September something.

And it's really interesting about the run game for Minnesota.
Greg brought up a great point about the Minnesota defense,
but defense plus run game equals wins.

And Jordan Mason is a guy who came in in
relief of Christian McCaffrey last season, averaged more than ninety
four yards in those starts over the course of those starts.

And last week he picked up kind of where.

Aaron Jones left off after he left. So I'm looking
at this and then you look at the Steelers defense.
They've allowed twenty eight missed tackles. They've missed twenty eight tackles,
so they did twenty two of them in weeks one
and two. Just last week against the pass but that
game was full of weirdo turnovers and odd things. So
I'm thinking that Kevin O'Connell will get Jordan Mason the
ball in space, both in the catching game as well

Yeah, the designs work out for the Minnesota Vikings in
this one, and against the Steelers defense that's given up
thirty points per Game two, everybody that didn't turn the

Your model says, yeah, my model says the Vikings win
at twenty eight to twenty four because Aaron Rodgers, yes,

can do so many different things. You could see Mattellus
in the box showing blitz and then he's the deep
safety in like a cover three on the sideline where

guys are moving around. They get Andrew ben Ginkle back
for his second game back. There's just a lot to do,
and in terms of which quarterback is gonna have to
do more, it feels like Aaron Rodgers needs to do
a whole lot more than Carson Wentz against the much
better defense. But we do feel comfortable with the Minnesota
Michael get getting a win for a great crowd in Dublin.

They would move to five and oh internationally as well.

yet to have occurred. And when you're looking at the
opportunity to kind of keep Jordan Love in the situation

where he gets to exploit the fact that this defense
plays only zone like seventy four percent of the time.

And we know that Josh Jacobs, he just broke his
streak of having eleven touchdowns in eleven games. Last week,
he did not have one. This week he starts the
new streak touchdown.

Yeah, mister Jones would like the team to improve against
the run. I think they should also improve against the pass.
If only they were a very talented edge rusher that
they can employ against the opposer.

and nobody can accuse me of looking on Cynthia's paper
because I have a totally different score. Twenty four twenty two,
and as much fun as we're having with the Bears offensing.

Yeah, just great nation, Let's go Bears. The problem is
for just Amo out of the country. Is the Bears
defense still kind of frightening me a bit? As Cynthia
pointed out, number twenty nine in the league and pressure rate,
and when Eugene Cyril Smith isn't pressured, there's a lot
of points. He finished twelve or fifteen for two hundred
and fifteen yards and three touchdowns. They all came when

he didn't have people flying at his feet. And this
is just a look what it's looked like when Dennis

Still we've all got close games. Looking forward to seeing

I have the Chargers winning twenty four to nineteen. This
is a really tricky matchup. But I think the thing
that everybody who is a Giants fan is looking for
is hope. It's the opportunity to see what Jackson Dart
could potentially be. Yes, the defense is hard, We're gonna

the circumstances, not the best, not the easiest.

This is a team, though, that has only won one
of their past nine home games.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
They've thrown seven total touchdowns in those ten games. This
is a team who's looking for hope passing touchdowns.

Chargers here. I've got twenty eight to sixteen Justin Herbert
and the Chargers have been great on offense, but the
Chargers defense has forced quarterbacks to make plays, and I
think that's a rough situation to make your first start
at home in MetLife. I know people are going to
be like, well, yeah, to play try extra hard because

the New York media is gonna I think people ask
tough questions everywhere. The number eight passing defense in terms
of efficiency is this Chargers team. They've got great veteran contributions,
getting Tony Jefferim to come in and play as well
as he has, and Derwin James is having a great season.
A rough opportunity. It's going to be a long road
for Jackson Dart. The problems with the franchise are a

whole lot more and vast than just at the quarterback position.
So yeah, we're all taking the Chargers and mem Us
away those who believe there's a big change coming in

like to discuss one Courtland Sutton is having a solid
start to a season. He's maybe four passes away from
having one hundred more yards this season. He and Knicks

have missed on some big opportunities. And when the Bengals
play zone, the opponent has a success rate above fifty
one percent. That's in the bottom third of the league.

Speaking of a run over under two hundred and four
passing yards for Rogers on the Emerald Isle, And I'm
going more. And if you're thinking yay, it's because the Steelers. No,
I think the Steelers is going to be trailing and
Aaron Rodgers is going to have to throw the ball,
and he's gonna have to throw the ball early, which
Aaron Rodgers traditionally does get rid of the ball quickly.
And I think he's gonna have to against the blitz.

that you think he's not going to do. Ultimately, I

if you're looking at the opportunity here for fantasy managers,
perhaps what you're going.

To look at is maybe a tight end or perhaps
a pass catcher.

Yeah, the opportunity going up against this Browns defense is very,
very limited. I would expect that they will have another
solid performance. But Jared Goff already played against a very
good Packers defense. He completed a ton of passes thirty
one to thirty seven. I know the Lions didn't win
that game, but but not just celebrate Jared Goff for yeah,
I guess man. This season, he's completed nineteen of twenty

three pass is for one hundred and sixty eight yards
and three touchdowns. His completion percentage over expected is twenty
one percent. And there are those out there who would
malign JG. Not not on this show. We respect to JG.

pace that he was on in his last Pro Bowl

the forty nine ers circumstances that we will get no

actual advance notice on what will actually happen. But as
of right now, I'm taking the Jacksonville.

this is going to be an interesting situation because we've
seen the Dolphins secondary give up quite a few yards,

quite a few receptions, and quite a few touchdowns.

So I think it's gonna be a big Garrett wilsoning.

Yeah, a lot of attention going to the Dolphins problems
on offen but the problems on defense. And there's things
floating around on the internet for years talking about the

stick up for my gag, cam Ward because some coaches
and some people believe that taking sacks is something that

you can't train a guy to not do, and I'm
arguing I went back and watched all fifteen of those
sacks that it is not actually his fault on all
of them. So the numbers should really the ones that
are on him are more like seven or eight, not
necessarily fifteen, which is wild. So I'm defending my guy,
even though I'm picking against his team.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah, context matters for Sas for those who are purely
in the box score, it's you know, ball Noor's like
Cynthia Frieland will delve into more of that. I am
also taking the Houston Texans twenty one to eighteen, and
if the Texans have an offense at all, it goes
through Nico Collins. He has over thirty percent of the
Texans total receiving yards this season, and teams are doing
what they can to try to disrupt them. At the

the highest rates in the league. They'll go up against
Lagerius Snead here. Again, the Texans defense does have the edge,

Genty surpasses that number.

ball some space. I will take Romeo Dobbs to go
over forty two and a half receiving yards against the
Dallas Cowboys because the Cowboys have played a few games.
They played three games and see four players have over
forty two receiving yards on one play. Against the Dallas Cowboys.

I think that the packer that over the years has
the most targets, the most red zone targets, gets the
most opportunities, gets there on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

it for a very long time at a very high level.
I think he gets over forty nine yards against the
Buffalo Bills because he's on the field like at a
top ten rate. Right now, he's playing over eighty percent

of the snaps for the Saints. I do think the
Saints will be playing from behind, but there's something about
that number that makes me believe.

from the Lions rush. I'm looking at this matchup against
the Chiefs. I've got a one point win for the
home team, the Kansas City Chiefs getting a win against Baltimore. Yes,
I'll take a stray band against my team, and Philip
will accuse me of a reverse jinx. But I'm thinking
back to Labar in that game, not necessarily having anywhere

to go, waiting for guys to get open. The guy
on the other side, Patrick Mahomes, He's not waiting for
guys to get open because the Kansasity Chiefs aren't getting open.
He's having to do it all by himself. He scrambled
on fifteen point three percent of his dropbacks this season.
The Chiefs have nine explosive rushes all season long. Seven
of them are Patrick Mahomes scrambling. He's got the team

on his back, and I think that's good enough for
him to maintain a streak of not having three losses
in September something.

Yeah, the opportunity going up against this Browns defense is very,
very limited. I would expect that they will have another
solid performance. But Jared Goff already played against a very

one to thirty seven. I know the Lions didn't win
that game, but but not just celebrate Jared Goff for yeah,
I guess man. This season, he's completed nineteen of twenty

three pass is for one hundred and sixty eight yards
and three touchdowns. His completion percentage over expected is twenty
one percent. And there are those out there who would
malign JG. Not not on this show. We respect to JG.

this is going to be an interesting situation because we've
seen the Dolphins secondary give up quite a few yards,

quite a few receptions, and quite a few touchdowns.

So I think it's gonna be a big Garrett wilsoning.

Yeah, a lot of attention going to the Dolphins problems
on offen but the problems on defense. And there's things
floating around on the internet for years talking about the
definition of insanity being trying the same thing over. That's
not true. They intrude it to Albert Einstein just because
it's Albert Einstein, so south starts. He never said that.
It's not the definition of anything.

stick up for my gag, cam Ward because some coaches
and some people believe that taking sacks is something that

you can't train a guy to not do, and I'm
arguing I went back and watched all fifteen of those
sacks that it is not actually his fault on all
of them. So the numbers should really the ones that
are on him are more like seven or eight, not
necessarily fifteen, which is wild. So I'm defending my guy,
even though I'm picking against his team.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah, context matters for Sas for those who are purely
in the box score, it's you know, ball Noor's like
Cynthia Frieland will delve into more of that. I am
also taking the Houston Texans twenty one to eighteen, and
if the Texans have an offense at all, it goes
through Nico Collins. He has over thirty percent of the
Texans total receiving yards this season, and teams are doing
what they can to try to disrupt them. At the

We see some of these explosive runs. They will happen
in this matchup, and I think this is where Ashton
Genty surpasses that number.

It'll be great for the rookie, great for Raiders fans,
and of course fantasy managers who have been waiting for
Ashton gent to get an opportunity to get in the
ball some space. I will take Romeo Dobbs to go
over forty two and a half receiving yards against the
Dallas Cowboys because the Cowboys have played a few games.
They played three games and see four players have over
forty two receiving yards on one play. Against the Dallas Cowboys.

I think that the packer that over the years has
the most targets, the most red zone targets, gets the
most opportunities, gets there on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

there's some kinving fumbles is probably what gets Trayvon Henderson
a more opportunity This week. I'll take another running back
and decidedly not a rookie as Alva Kamara been doing
it for a very long time at a very high level.
I think he gets over forty nine yards against the
Buffalo Bills because he's on the field like at a
top ten rate. Right now, he's playing over eighty percent

of the snaps for the Saints. I do think the
Saints will be playing from behind, but there's something about
that number that makes me believe.

You know what happened last time he faced a bottom
run defense?

It was the last season feilve yards one hundred and
