Speaker 1 (00:04):
NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Everybody, Welcome to a game deaveut, Patrick Clayboud here with
Cynthia Freelan. You may be asking where's Greg Rosenthal. He's
in Dublin for the Viking Steepers. Next. Yeah, fear not
Greg Nation or wherever he calls you guys. We'll get
all of his picks for you today on the show.
Last week a rough one for a lot of folks,
specifically me. I went seven to nine, Cynthia and Greg
went aid to eight. But that means that she maintains

(00:36):
that crown upon her head. Thirty one and seventeen on
the season. Speaking of good records, what about the head
to head record for Patrick Mahomes against Lamar Jackson including
the playoffs five to one. There. Now, there are those
who may note that they play against the opposing defense, and.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Not necessarily I'm one of those.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I'm as well. But we give you this because this
is what the people care about. Look at the fresh
edition of Lamar Versus Mahomes Sunday and Arrowhead. One of
these teams is going to be one in three After
Sunday Grant picked the Baltimore Ravens. What are you picking? Simple?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
I too am picking the Baltimore Ravens, but just by
one point twenty four twenty three. It turns out having
Justin Mattabika not there nom the Matta bk excuse me
not there is a big problem. And that's why it's
just a one point win. But I'm looking at Derrick
Henry and I know some people have had some questions,
what's going on these fumbles? What's going on with Derrick Henry?
And I'm telling you that he is going to be

(01:35):
a much better spot. And Mark Andrews is also going
to help. We saw him return last week against the Lions.
He was there on Crusil Down's third down in the
red area when they needed to get another first down,
they relied on Mark Andrews. All of whatever happened in
that game against that other red team that we're not
going to talk about, that is all over with now
and Mark Andrews opportunity and this.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
One is massive.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
It is a big deal to target this defense with
multiple pass.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Catchers, and Mark Andrews' contribution will be massive.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
It was odd to see Lamar back there waiting for
guys to come open, not necessarily able to get away
from the Lions rush. I'm looking at this matchup against
the Chiefs. I've got a one point win for the
home team, the Kansas City Chiefs getting a win against Baltimore. Yes,
I'll take a stray band against my team, and Philip
will accuse me of a reverse jinx. But I'm thinking
back to Labar in that game, not necessarily having anywhere

(02:26):
to go, waiting for guys to get open. The guy
on the other side, Patrick Mahomes, He's not waiting for
guys to get open because the Kansasity Chiefs aren't getting open.
He's having to do it all by himself. He scrambled
on fifteen point three percent of his dropbacks this season.
The Chiefs have nine explosive rushes all season long. Seven
of them are Patrick Mahomes scrambling. He's got the team

(02:46):
on his back, and I think that's good enough for
him to maintain a streak of not having three losses
in September something.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
That's there's eleven players on offense.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yeah, we're asking number fifteen to do like seventy five
percent of everything.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Consistently, and it hasn't worked.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Out but a lot. So let's ask of anyone.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I think it's gonna work out. Tom for Who's Eating Good?
Presented by Applebee's Cynthia Well. Derrick Henry run for more
or less than eighty four and a half yards against
Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I am a Derrick Henry fan for so many reasons,
but taking my fandom out of it, the answer is more.
I haven't projected for ninety three yards. Why because he's
facing light boxes at a higher rate, so more light boxes. Sure,
he's been stuffed more often this season. Teams are ready
for him in a very different way. Father time, we
get it. He's undefeated over time, blob.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Derrick Henry is still the man. I'm looking at these
explosive rushes. There is a reason that Baltimore leads the
league in explosive rush rate.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, King Henry, the Ravens, everyone else though, all chasing
last year's champions of Philadelphia Eagles and Philly came back
to win in dramatic fashion a week ago against LA
Have they blocked us? Had they fussed us?

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Then?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
He hasn't missed the season other than the block. Well,
this will be a good time. This is for the game.
Hold your breast. The Bulls spotted. The kick is a
way block. It's block expected, not by the Eagles. Won
me what it is? Davis? Thirty twenty ten fine touchdown

(04:21):
Dave O George Davis? Are you jagging me? What come
my gun? Are you? Jannick Walk?

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Have you ever seen anything like this? As a final score,
it's thirty three to twenty six, Pandemonium and Philly and
just a no sell from Jalen Hurts. The Philly now
heading to Tampa, both squad sitting at three and oh,
Mike Evans is out for the Bucks, but there is
a chance Chris Godwin's playing, Greg is taking the Birds.

(04:49):
What about you something?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I am also taking the Birds, but just by two
points twenty four to twenty two. And it isn't on
last minute heroics life last week, but it is on
something that happened in the second half, and that's the
return of the past by Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Is specifically the past that traveled at least ten yards.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
This is something that for the first ten quarters of
the Eagle season, they were just two of seven attempts
on any pass that was over ten air yards.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
That's a pretty crazy, ridiculous number.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Now it's back. The mojo is back there flowing. Now
you can run, now you can pass. Both things will
be elevated because of the past being back, So the
run will get better from that as well.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
The touch push. We get it. It is infallible pretty much right,
but now we have the pass game to go along
with it.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
This is good news against the Bucks, who again, without
Mike Evans, things are different. So perhaps all the whole
game plan complimentary football is different without him.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, not just Mike Evans. The Bucks have had to
overcome a whole bunch of injuries, so many are here
in twenty twenty five. I have the same exact court
Cynthia does twenty four to Twitter plan twin no conversation,
just matching, matching the whole way through. I think there's
more points than some people might think. Shout out to
al Michaels. But you know the theme of the show.
I don't have to be a tongue in cheap with

(06:02):
regards to that because the necond Buka has huge opportunity
with no Mike Evans and maybe no Chris Godwin there.
But the problem is with the Eagles Quinyon Mitchell has
such a significant impact. He's moving around more, and I
Buket just isn't as good in the slot this season,
He's only had twenty seven yards, whereas out wide he
has a lot of success. But out wide you're gonna

(06:23):
run into twenty seven. I still think there's a lot
of points, perhaps more points than some people might think.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
I was gonna do an Al Michael's impersonation, but I
will save.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Everywhere from that.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
No cympion. It's vegetable, so we can't do that. Our
next matchup takes us to lovely Dublin, Ireland.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
The Minnesota Vikames and Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin, ironlandc.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 6 (06:52):
Rogers fire doesn't even.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Jim Son, you are not big enough to ride this
right teaching walk with the sack whoa c in Dublin,
My brother snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football kicks
it Off in Dublin, presented by Madden. NFL twenty sixth

(07:19):
Justin Jefferson and the Vikings versus Aaron Rodgers and the
Steelers Sunday nine thirty Eastern, only on NFL Network and
streaming with NFL plus subscript from required for NFL plus
visit plus dot NFL dot com four terms. This should
be a good one for the fans there in Dublin.
The Vikings rolled the Bengals last week, while Rodgers has
the Steelers sitting at two to one. Let's send it

(07:41):
over to our dear friend Greg Rosenthal, who's in Dublin
for the game.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
I'm here in front of the National Concert Hall in Dublin,
and you thought I wasn't gonna get a good shot. Well,
I also got to pick for this game. I am
going Vikings nineteen seventeen. Aaron Rodgers is dead last in
the NFL this season in terms of completion percent under pressure.
And you know who loves to send pressure and get pressure.

(08:08):
It's Brian Flores and this Vikings defense. He sent Aaron
Rodgers home crying last year from London. This year he
will be drowning his sorrows in some guinness after the game.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Thanks Greg. Also thanks to the man in the hat
who walked behind Greg at the finish there. Do you agree?
Do you have the Minnesota Vikings?

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Well, I'm glad Greg could take away time from his
busy guinness drinking schedule to join us, but I do
have the same winner as him, but just by one point.
I have twenty two to twenty one in this matchup.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
And it's really interesting about the run game for Minnesota.
Greg brought up a great point about the Minnesota defense,
but defense plus run game equals wins.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
And Jordan Mason is a guy who came in in
relief of Christian McCaffrey last season, averaged more than ninety
four yards in those starts over the course of those starts.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
And last week he picked up kind of where.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Aaron Jones left off after he left. So I'm looking
at this and then you look at the Steelers defense.
They've allowed twenty eight missed tackles. They've missed twenty eight tackles,
so they did twenty two of them in weeks one
and two. Just last week against the pass but that
game was full of weirdo turnovers and odd things. So
I'm thinking that Kevin O'Connell will get Jordan Mason the
ball in space, both in the catching game as well

(09:15):
as on the ground.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Yeah, the designs work out for the Minnesota Vikings in
this one, and against the Steelers defense that's given up
thirty points per Game two, everybody that didn't turn the
ball over five times. That's an official stat from my statistics.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Good job.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Your model says, yeah, my model says the Vikings win
at twenty eight to twenty four because Aaron Rodgers, yes,
mem Us away Steelers fans has to deal with the
blitz coming from Brian Flores and this veteran defense. They
can do so many different things. You could see Mattellus
in the box showing blitz and then he's the deep
safety in like a cover three on the sideline where

(09:49):
guys are moving around. They get Andrew ben Ginkle back
for his second game back. There's just a lot to do,
and in terms of which quarterback is gonna have to
do more, it feels like Aaron Rodgers needs to do
a whole lot more than Carson Wentz against the much
better defense. But we do feel comfortable with the Minnesota
Michael get getting a win for a great crowd in Dublin.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
They would move to five and oh internationally as well.
They're four and oh right now, five wins abroad.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
They just can't be stopped.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
I bought to Dallas Cowboys with a handshake, handshak.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Jerry Jones said, that handshake deal with Michael Parsons. That's it.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
He'd be the highest guaranteed player on defense, and then
we were going to send it over to the agent.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
The agent, so it was to stick it up. Same
way did Jerry Jones take care of their family? The
same way I need to take care of my family.
We really got three years to work this thing. Ow
I did that with stat you, me and Mike have talked.
I don't have the full answer for it. I think
all of mine would have been done a lot earlier
than they were playing. His media game with Jerry is

(10:50):
not fun. But I do want Michael to get paid.
Michael Parsons requested a trade away from the Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Jerry, are you considering trading Michael Parsons negotiation talk?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
That's where I put that if they don't want me
to hear, they don't want me to hear, well, if
this is dead, this is dad.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers forty seven million
dollars per year.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
It came quick, but that's the way things go.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I think a lot of Micah don't want.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Him to have success, want to play the Cowboys. I
do want him to have overall success. Oh, like the
Sands in the hour glass, time first seized the season
presented by Caesar's Sportsbook. As we look at the first
touchdown score odds according to our friends over there at
Season sports Book, Josh Jacobs negative two thirteen, javontey at
plus one thirty five, George Pickens at plus one forty five,

(11:40):
Romeo Dobs and Jake Ferguson rounding out the list. It
is going down Sunday night in Dallas, Michaeh Parsons versus
Jerry and the Boys. Although Jerry's not playing, Greg is
riding with the Green Bay Packers. Are you leaning into
particular directions? India?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
As much as I like the drama and shout out
to whoever our editor is, who got the cdee lamb
tackling the Sideliner raphtics that was I mean, that was masterful.
But I still have Green Bay winning. It's not a
dramatic one for my finish year twenty eighth to twenty.
In this matchup, I agree with Caesars.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
I think Josh.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Jacobs finds the end zone in this one perhaps first, sure,
why not? It doesn't matter when in my predictions, but
I look at the opportunity here from against this defense.
I know that we talked about or Jerry Jones talked
about fixing the Cowboys run events that seems to have
yet to have occurred. And when you're looking at the
opportunity to kind of keep Jordan Love in the situation

(12:34):
where he gets to exploit the fact that this defense
plays only zone like seventy four percent of the time.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
It's through run and pass.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
And we know that Josh Jacobs, he just broke his
streak of having eleven touchdowns in eleven games. Last week,
he did not have one. This week he starts the
new streak touchdown.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, mister Jones would like the team to improve against
the run. I think they should also improve against the pass.
If only they were a very talented edge rusher that
they can employ against the opposer.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Here would you find one of that?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
I guess you find them in Green Bay, Wisconsin. But
he's going to be coming into Jerry World where they
will be playing a tribute video for Micah Parsons. But
maybe they could show some of this on tape. The
opposing team averaging nine point five air yards per attempt
against the Dallas Cowboys. That's the fourth most in the NFL,
and I know they're happy to get Treyvon Diggs back.

(13:19):
He has not forced a single tight window throw on
any of his eight targets faced in twenty twenty five.
It's been a rough go for Matt Eberfluse and for
the Dallas Cowboys defense. But I'm projecting them score twenty
eight points because I think there may be some garbage
time involved. Just a lot of points here. Not all
of them are gonna necessarily matter, but you know, people

(13:42):
like scores, people like fantasy season. The season is brought
to you by Caasars Sportsbook. New users can bet one
dollar to boost their next twenty bets by one hundred percent.
Must be twenty one or older. See Caesars dot com
slash promos in order to get the full terms the
highest over unders of the week for Week four, The
Colts and the Rams leading the way at forty nine

(14:03):
and a have just ahead of the Ravens and the Chiefs,
the Saints and the Bills, Bears, Raiders and Packers Cowboys
rounding out this group. The Caesars has the Colts in
the Rams again projected as the highest scoring game of
the week, and he's still undefeated Rams coming off a
rough one, that heartbreaker we saw earlier to the Eagles.
Greg is taking the Rams here, and I agree, I've

(14:23):
got a twenty six to twenty four win for Los Angeles,
although a lot hinges on the health of one Devonte
Adams in this Rams passing attack miss practice a couple
of days this week, and Matthew Stafford very very good
as he's traditionally on play actions, completed twenty eight of
his thirty eight pay play action pass attempts for three

(14:44):
hundred and sixty nine yards that's the second most in
the league and four touchdowns, which is the most in
the league. The Colts have allowed one hundred and twelve
passing yards and a thirty six seven percent drop back
success rate the quarterbacks on play action now, is that
because the quarterbacks they've played have been like Tua in
a bad year, cam Warden is very first year or

(15:05):
bo Nick's having a rough start to his twenty twenty
five or are those guys having rough starts because they've
played the Colts? We will see something.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
My answer is both.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Because I have the upset here give prime number here.
That's a lovely little noise that we'd played there twenty
five to twenty four, just a one point upset for
the Colts.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
We've been talking a lot about Daniel.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Jones this season for very good reason, but who is
helping him out Jonathan Taylor, who is absolutely crushing it.
One of the stats that really stood out to me
in this matchup is the fact that on third down,
guess which team has the lowest yards to go in
the National footballing game?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Is it the Colt It is?

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Oh my goodness, you know why this is happening because
they're using diversity of play calling on first and second down,
and Jonathan Taylor is doing craziness madness like this.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
He's doing it against good defense as too.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
That was just the Broncos defense in that last highlight
here it is again that's a good defense right there,
ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
He is getting open. This scheme is working, the past
game works with their ready. It's almost like these things
go together, guys. You know, it's just a good opportunity
for both. So Jonathan Taylor, let's give him.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
I feel like we know we talked about like all
these other ruddy where's Jonathan Taylor in this discussion?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, one of the better players in the NFL this season,
and yeah, when Cynthia's got a prime number this season
that has been deep blue bloo peep wearing that crown.
Still to come to Caleb and the Bears really figured
things out last week or was it just a mirage?
The Cowboys defense is a little shaky. Ben Johnson's squad
heading to Sin City to take on Gino and the
Raiders are picks for that one and more coming up

(16:36):
next on Game Davut one safety back deep. Here's the pitch.
The swift passes it back to Caleb Williams looking deep
down the left side.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Go through the part of the ten five ten zone touchdown, touchdown, Bears,
Ben's bag of tricks.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
That's number one Thing's bag of tricks.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Fans are going to serve they loved it.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
I hope to mean that Alaminaezikias just gets left out
of every celebration this season because the Bears are having
some fun. Last week, Kayla finished with four touchdowns, wasn't
sacked for the first time in his NFL career. Chicago
heading to Vegas to take on the Raiders. Greg is
all aboard the Bears hype train. Are you aboard with him, Cynthia.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I am nuts, I am I will said voting, but
my model Joes, they're Raiders twenty four to twenty three
in this one last week, I want to point out
something about these.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Tree Tucker touchdowns. There were three of them, by the way,
in case do you miss them.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
They were all on off coverage against off coverage, and
they were all on you.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Know, really kind of more difficult us.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
But the other thing they were all under like the
same circumstances.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Was no pressure for Gino Smith.

Speaker 4 (17:55):
And what is the difference between Washington and the Bears. Well,
high pressure rate from Washington not so high as in
fourth lowest for the Bears.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
So Gina Smith will have a ton more time.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Meaning maybe it's not necessarily to trade Tucker. Perhaps the
Jacobe Myers, perhaps a Rock Powers. I don't really care
about that, but I'm looking at the opportunity for Gino
Smith to stay clean, which means better results in the
pass game.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
It's a similar theme I have the Las Vegas Raiders,
and nobody can accuse me of looking on Cynthia's paper
because I have a totally different score. Twenty four twenty two,
and as much fun as we're having with the Bears offensing.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Yes, just gragnation.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, just great nation, Let's go Bears. The problem is
for just Amo out of the country. Is the Bears
defense still kind of frightening me a bit? As Cynthia
pointed out, number twenty nine in the league and pressure rate,
and when Eugene Cyril Smith isn't pressured, there's a lot
of points. He finished twelve or fifteen for two hundred
and fifteen yards and three touchdowns. They all came when

(18:50):
he didn't have people flying at his feet. And this
is just a look what it's looked like when Dennis
Allen squad hasn't gotten pressure. Here in twenty twenty five.
Still we've all got close games. Looking forward to seeing
that one between the Bears and the Races. Gino and
Caleb both trying to find their stride. There's one guy
who already has and is just bawling as Justin Herbert.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Shucking down in ships Herbert to the air, Pipkins the
block at.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
The right jacket, got away from now Purple to the
the pro.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Touchdown.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
He's got a clean shot at him.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Herbert step took at the pocket and throws him away
with one arm.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Oh one of the best throws we've seen thus far.
Justin Herbert and the three No Chargers taking on the
g Men at MetLife. Jackson Dart has been named this
Giant starting quarterback. Will the rookie save New York?

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Maybe, But I don't necessarily think it's this particular week.
I have the Chargers winning twenty four to nineteen. This
is a really tricky matchup. But I think the thing
that everybody who is a Giants fan is looking for
is hope. It's the opportunity to see what Jackson Dart
could potentially be. Yes, the defense is hard, We're gonna

(20:04):
the circumstances, not the best, not the easiest.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
This is a team, though, that has only won one
of their past nine home games.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
They've thrown seven total touchdowns in those ten games. This
is a team who's looking for hope passing touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Let's have Malik Neighbors look happy. Hey, what's that?

Speaker 4 (20:21):
It's kind of like when I come to work and
I see you, I'm just so happy.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Yeah, you know, God forbid, they like working together.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Yeah, and that's we're not just having such a great
time because Greg's not.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
We love Greg two.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
But yeah, we love Greg we all have picked the
Chargers here. I've got twenty eight to sixteen Justin Herbert
and the Chargers have been great on offense, but the
Chargers defense has forced quarterbacks to make plays, and I
think that's a rough situation to make your first start
at home in MetLife. I know people are going to
be like, well, yeah, to play try extra hard because

(20:52):
the New York media is gonna I think people ask
tough questions everywhere. The number eight passing defense in terms
of efficiency is this Chargers team. They've got great veteran contributions,
getting Tony Jefferim to come in and play as well
as he has, and Derwin James is having a great season.
A rough opportunity. It's going to be a long road
for Jackson Dart. The problems with the franchise are a

(21:13):
whole lot more and vast than just at the quarterback position.
So yeah, we're all taking the Chargers and mem Us
away those who believe there's a big change coming in
New York. Tom for two minute drill presented by the
Wells Fargo Active Cash credit Card. Let's do some quick
picks and rapid succession. The winless Saints taking on the
unbeaten Bills in Orchard Park. We had upsets last week.

(21:36):
Do you believe, Cynthia.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
I believe in the Bill. I believe there.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
It is.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Thirty two to sixteen is my score in this matchup.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Bonus.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
Actually, both running backs here have a good opportunity.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
But James Cook reaching the end zone. That feels like
a little chucky. But I like it. I like it
no matter what.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, we like chaw. The little hanging fruit still taste
just as good. Let's go to the Bengals and Broncos
Monday night. Jake Browning is down five picks in two games,
and I see the Broncos bouncing back in a big
way here, winning twenty seven to twenty two. I would
like to discuss one Courtland Sutton is having a solid
start to a season. He's maybe four passes away from
having one hundred more yards this season. He and Knicks

(22:14):
have missed on some big opportunities. And when the Bengals
play zone, the opponent has a success rate above fifty
one percent. That's in the bottom third of the league.
And I will say once again, justice for Lou.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Exactly, justice for Lou to the command. Maybe it wasn't
his fault wasn't that Colts are doing pretty darn well.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Certainly Commanders and the Falcons were still unsure if Jade
and Scary Terry are going to play. Atlanta got waxed
last week against the Panthers. Did the Falcons bounce back here? No?

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Well, I mean they a little bit. They score points, Okay,
they don't get puss love.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
I have twenty five to twenty one in a game
where it's scorecasts to be closer, but so it's not
as close as whatever, not as close as forecast. But
I'm looking at this one and talking about that pressure
rate fifty point four percent that leads the league. There's
only two teams that are pressuring over fifty percent.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
It's them and the Broncos.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
And they're getting sacked, they're getting home, they're disrupting quarterbacks.
That doesn't look fun. I don't want to be sacked
like that. No any quarterback coming out of this. And
Michael Pennock Junior, he has some bad under pressure statistics.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
So let's just say advantage Commander's defense.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yeah, we're gonna learn a whole lot about all of
these teams involved in considering how last week and how
bad it was as the Falcons have had some rough
ones against the Panthers.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
They had to fire one of their coaches.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
We'll see how they adjust. Speaking of those Carolina Panthers,
they got the Patriots and Carolina right and high after
last week's beat down to the Falcons. I think they're
victorious again on Sunday, winning twenty three twenty. I will
take the strayband as I'm looking high and low for.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
The researcher is fist pumping about this? So yeah, right,
perhaps you're not Panthers.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
I'm just searching, but like combing through all sorts of
statistics to try to find the thing that the New
England Patriots have done that was more impressive than what
the Carolina Panthers did in Charlotte Against the Falcons, the
franchisees first shutout since back in twenty twenty, held Michael
Pennix Junior to one hundred and seventy two yards two interceptions.
Could be one of the best games this weekend. I

(24:11):
think it will be close, in fact, we all do,
but I will take the Panthers by three, and I
don't mind time for more or less here on game debut,
as we talked some player props for this Steelers Vikings
matchup in Dublin. Why don't you start us off, Cynthia
Carson Wentz more or less than one and a half

(24:31):
touchdowns more or.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Less more more one and a half touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
You can target this Steelers defense in the passing game.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
We've now seen it for three weeks.

Speaker 4 (24:41):
They get Jordan Addison back, that sounds good. Justin Jefferson.
He's averaging kind of a career low in terms of
receptions per game. So I'm thinking Jettis needs to do
the gritty in Ireland. Just make sure they get to
see it up close and personal. And also, do you
think someone's going to make the Aaron Gobra reference, like
Aaron Rodgers get it.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Speaking of a run over under two hundred and four
passing yards for Rogers on the Emerald Isle, And I'm
going more. And if you're thinking yay, it's because the Steelers. No,
I think the Steelers is going to be trailing and
Aaron Rodgers is going to have to throw the ball,
and he's gonna have to throw the ball early, which
Aaron Rodgers traditionally does get rid of the ball quickly.
And I think he's gonna have to against the blitz.

(25:23):
But sometimes Brian Flores will elect to do the thing
that you think he's not going to do. Ultimately, I
think advantage Vikings either way. Next oneth Cynthia, more or
less than seventy six receiving yards for the aforementioned justin Jefferson.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
Okay, so I said I'd like to touchdown, So we're
good with that. The seventy six it's a little much.
Oh no, less than that, just a little bit less.
Seventy three is the projection. I told you Jordan Madison's back, TJ.
Hopkinson's there. I already told you that I like Jordan Mason.
At some point. That's a lot of mouths defeat. So
I think about seventy three yards, so just a titch
less Okay.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
I will go back to the Pittsburgh Steelers. DK metcalf
at three and a half receptions, and again I'm saying more,
not because it's good news. I think the Steelers will
be trailing and this one get lore catches for DK
late or perhaps in situations where the Vikings are backing up,
willing to give up yards late just to get out
of there and get on the plane and celebrate. On
the way back to the United States. Let's go to

(26:17):
the ground game for the guys in Purple. Jordan Mason
had a great start for the Vikings this season. Eighty
one or more rushing yards.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
We're gonna go already, I believe it. Say it's all
about those miss tackles.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Ninety fours has averaged from when he was starting for
the forty nine ers when Christian McCaffrey was out.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
He had a great showing last week.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
That game was a little wonky with all of those
turnovers on defense and scoring on defense.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
And he still had two trips to the end zone.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
So I'm not worried about the yards topping eighty one
and a half in this one.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
More Yeah, career highs for Jrdon Mason. The problem is
Isaiah Rodgers ate up all the yards that the Vikings
could have potentially gotten. And so yeah, it was the
Jordan Mason game. It was probably one of the best
games of his career. It grew high in touchdown as
well as yards. I'll take the last one. Will Greg
Rosenhal have more or less than three and a half

(27:10):
pints of guinness during his trip to Ireland? And I'm
actually gonna know if less here Greg not noted for
you know, consuming a lot of particular substances. But if
we're gonna ask, will people raise pints of Guinness in
honor of Greg Rosenthal, I'm gonna go way way up.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
And I was thinking about this a little bit, and
I think he's gonna try to split the G because
when you have that many g's in your name, and
splitting the G is so popular, it's harder to do
than you might think. So I think he's gonna have
to do more just by virtue of trying to split
that darn G right on.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
The glass like r egg after the big time for gs.
Just a reminder, you can catch the game Sunday nine
thirty am Eastern on an NFL network and NFL Plus.
Check out the rest of the upcoming international slate as
we get a chance to see these vikings internationally once
again at Tottenham Hotspur, the Broncos and the Jets coming
up on October twelfth, the Commanders and the Fins, the

(28:07):
Falcons and the Colts, and we get to see the
Jacksonville Jaguars at Wimbley again as they will be the
home team against the Los Angeles ring golf, takes turns,
gives to Montgomery two hands on that football. There he
goes over the right time twenty five, twenty cut to.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
The right, fififteen down to the tent, down to the
time to the end zone, touch down. Detroit Lions demo
to the house thirty one yards and the Lions have.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Put this game on ice. What a night for the
Detroit Lions.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
What a statement by this football team.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Browns and the Lions Detroit put the league on notice
Monday night in Baltimore, while the Brownies shocked the world
last week. How do you feel about this matchup for
your Lions.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
I still have a little tear in my eye. I
was tearing up watching that last one. I have a
ten point wind mark. I'm sorry, it's been twenty years.
That's a long time.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
In nineteen seventy seven the last time they won in Baltimore. Anyway,
I have a ten point win twenty six to sixteen
in this.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
Matchup in favor of the lines.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
The quote from Johnny Morton is quote, I don't think
they've seen a run game like hours yet. And while
that might be true, I don't necessarily think if you're
a fantasy manager, that you want to expect this kind
of rushing from David Montgomery. I do think it matters,
but I don't think he's going to have this crazy.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Type of situation. This is a Browns defense that.

Speaker 4 (29:24):
Allows fifty seven rushing years per game. That's the best
in the league. There's so they haven't allowed one rush
over twelve yards yet, that's pretty crazy. And nine first
downs in the run game fewest in the NFL. So
if you're looking at the opportunity here for fantasy managers,
perhaps what you're going.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
To look at is maybe a tight end or perhaps
a pass catcher.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah, the opportunity going up against this Browns defense is very,
very limited. I would expect that they will have another
solid performance. But Jared Goff already played against a very
good Packers defense. He completed a ton of passes thirty
one to thirty seven. I know the Lions didn't win
that game, but but not just celebrate Jared Goff for yeah,
I guess man. This season, he's completed nineteen of twenty

(30:03):
three pass is for one hundred and sixty eight yards
and three touchdowns. His completion percentage over expected is twenty
one percent. And there are those out there who would
malign JG. Not not on this show. We respect to JG.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Do you know that all of the colleges in Michigan
they do a Jared Goff chant, like even the directional
colleges in Michigan and Michigan State, but like Western Michigan
East Jared Goff.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I mean you have to. I'm glad. I'm glad they're
showing up.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
The Westerns are the best Midwest.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Lionsen in two and one. One team that's ahead of
them in the NFC standings, the undefeated forty nine Ers.
So be a thirty five yard try for Pinero. It's now, the.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Kick is on the way and is done, Enny Pinner,
what's it for the forty nine ers? What a game
under the circumstances, Kyle Shanahan in this mass unit of
players with all the injuries, and you could say it
on both sides of the ball, My god, is that inspiring?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Still yet to figure out why and if Panniero hates
Seris on the Cardinals, the Jags and the forty nine
ers in Sanni, he was very adamant after that game
winning field goal, there's a chance Brock Purdy plays. He
smiled and said we'll see. When asked how his toe felt,
Kyle Shanahan says, if he progresses, then he could be
able to play.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
If he progresses, then he could.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Yeah, so we'll see. There's a lot of caveats there.
Greg is taking the folks out of Duval and I
agree with him, although it is dependent on whether or
not Rock Party plays, which is something we won't know
until the game starts. I got twenty two twenty one
Jags on the virtue of a very very good defense
led by a very very good player in Josh heinz Allen,
six and a half pressures a game and Jags wins

(31:52):
this season. He had the game winning play last week
against the Texans, getting the CJ. Stroud right as the
ball was released. He's got nine quick pressures for the
against the quarterback already the season, well ahead of the
pace that he was on in his last Pro Bowl
season of twenty twenty three. Again, a lot depends on
the forty nine ers circumstances that we will get no

(32:12):
actual advance notice on what will actually happen. But as
of right now, I'm taking the Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
Jaguar check back ninety minutes before the game, and then
we'll know a little bit more. I don't care, though
I know Nick bos is not there, I know everyone
is potentially not playing for the Niners. I still have
them winning twenty three to twenty one.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
You're giving me another undefeated team that's a president. Seems
smart whatever.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
I'm taking them because of Christian McCaffrey, who is there
and isn't on the injury report.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
This is good news when you're looking at McCaffrey.

Speaker 4 (32:41):
It's so wild to think that the Niners are the
only team in the NFL without a rushing touchdown yet
wild right, Yeah, it's curty, but it's because he's doing
all this damage in the pass catching game.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
I don't care if it's Mac Jones. I don't care
if it's brock Purty.

Speaker 4 (32:53):
In fact, it would be a little poetic if it
were Mac Jones, who could go against his former team
and have Christian McCaffery dash their hearts.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Out right at the end.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
I like the drama, but when I'm looking at the
most realized able player on this offense, he has consistently
been there and been open in space. Not sure why
that's happening, but doesn't even matter because Christian McCaffrey is
a difference maker in this one for me.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yeah, eleven targets for the running back, got a lot
of action through the airline.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Is he a running back?

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Was to call him like a Swiss army knife like
we have like silly, silly, like he's a running back
slash wide receiver, not the other way around.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
All the different facets on this multi tool that is
Christian McCaffrey. Still to come. We got two big matchups
of winless teams Titans Texans and Jets Dolphins. Somebody's gotta win.
Maybe who's getting the first dub of the season and
perhaps turning their season around. To borrow some phrases from

Kyle Standinghan, our answer is coming up next with the

Terms and conditions apply. Let's thinking about playing football. Somebody wins,
somebody loses. These teams have lost every game the Dolphins, Jets, Texans, Titans, Giants,
and Saints. But there is good news. Some of them

(34:32):
play each other. We'll start with the winless Jets and
Dolphins on Monday night. For more on this game, let's
send it out to Gangreen's number one fan, Greg Rosenthal
in Ireland.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
Okay, So everywhere I go in Dublin, people are coming
up to me in the airports, on the streets, gregor,
are you gonna do it? Are you gonna pick the
Jets four straight weeks even though it's completely ruining your
pick season? I am gonna do it. This Dolphins team
doesn't have nearly as much fight as the Jets. And
to paraphrase Bill Parcells in the locker room after winning

(35:07):
the Super Bowl, they can never tell me that you
couldn't do it, man, because you did it. You picked
the Jets four straight weeks, and this time they're coming through.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
It's honorable for Greg to continue to pick the Jets.
Are you going to join them and pick the Jets
in twenty twenty five to win their first game?

Speaker 4 (35:23):
Well, they've been leading with two minutes left in two games,
So yes, I'm gonna do it. I have twenty four,
two twenty three in this matchup. Can we talk about
how Garrett Wilson isn't really being talked about enough.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
I know the Jets aren't.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Necessarily lighting it up in terms of passing yards per game,
but Garrett Wilson is top ten in the NFL amongst
wide receivers and receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, So
pretty darn good receiver despite having two different quarterbacks. And
this is going to be an interesting situation because we've
seen the Dolphins secondary give up quite a few yards,

(35:56):
quite a few receptions, and quite a few touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
So I think it's gonna be a big Garrett wilsoning.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Yeah, a lot of attention going to the Dolphins problems
on offen but the problems on defense. And there's things
floating around on the internet for years talking about the
definition of insanity being trying the same thing over. That's
not true. They intrude it to Albert Einstein just because
it's Albert Einstein, so south starts. He never said that.
It's not the definition of anything.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
You've been lied to for so many years.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
And I am going to pick the Dolphins because I too.
Am trying something that I've tried over and over again,
and I will take the stray bonn here and I'm
taking it because it's been a nice start to the
season for Jalen Waddell. He's gotten back in the end
zone a couple of times, and he's caught all but
three of his targets this year for one hundred and
thirty seven yards. It's been shaky for the Jets in

(36:43):
coverage at times. And so yeah, again, Albert Einstein never
said that. Just like a lot of things on the
Internet that people say, Albert Einstein said, well, yeah, I
am taking the Miami.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
You extremely lied to you right now.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Yeah, it happens, rrect a very solid chance. I regret
that decision, but I think the Fins win. I could
probably use some help. So it's time for the read
presented by Microsoft co Pilot. Co Pilot, your AI companion
for NFL Game Day and every day Big AFC South matchup. Sonight,
we ask Copilot one of the key storylines to watch
in Titans Texans, As co Pilot notes, it's the battle

(37:19):
of the winless teams. Both teams zero to three quarterback
pressure of problem for both cam Ward and CJ strout
the teams having trouble on offense, and co pilot noting
that the Titans gave up play calling duty, the head
coach gave up play calling duty, and now Bo Hart
agree is calling plays this week.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I wonder who co pilot would pick.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, I gotta ask. We'll figure it out. What copilot
says here will break down one more, both squads looking
for their first wins of the season. Who finally breaks
through here, Cynthia.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
Well, the Houston Texans at twenty four to sixteen.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Is what my model says.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
Why, Well, I'm looking at cam Ward and look, I'm
going to say that cam Ward has.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
Had a rough start. It's not necessarily his fault.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
Though.

Speaker 4 (38:02):
He's been sacked fifteen freaking times, which is third most
in the modern quarterback era. Like only two guys have
been sacked more often. So I'm looking at the strength
of the Texans defense and what is it. It is pressure,
It is getting to the quarterback and affecting him. But
I want to give a little bit. I want to
stick up for my gag, cam Ward because some coaches
and some people believe that taking sacks is something that

(38:24):
you can't train a guy to not do, and I'm
arguing I went back and watched all fifteen of those
sacks that it is not actually his fault on all
of them. So the numbers should really the ones that
are on him are more like seven or eight, not
necessarily fifteen, which is wild. So I'm defending my guy,
even though I'm picking against his team.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah, context matters for Sas for those who are purely
in the box score, it's you know, ball Noor's like
Cynthia Frieland will delve into more of that. I am
also taking the Houston Texans twenty one to eighteen, and
if the Texans have an offense at all, it goes
through Nico Collins. He has over thirty percent of the
Texans total receiving yards this season, and teams are doing
what they can to try to disrupt them. At the

(39:02):
line of Scrimagy's facing press the line at one of
the highest rates in the league. They'll go up against
Lagerius Snead here. Again, the Texans defense does have the edge,
So I as well as Cynthia and Greg are all
aboard time for write this down, which is something that
you do and not necessarily that we do. Because Cynthia
and I don't have a writing intensal at the moment.

(39:24):
Let's get the prop predictions for a week four. Why
don't that lead off something?

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (39:27):
So I have a little theme going here, okay, and
my first one is Ashton Genty to rush for more
than sixty five and a half yards.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
Against the Bears. It isn't a great situation.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
When your O line is holding you back the way
that he's been held back. However, the opportunity against the
Bears is the best he's had so far.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Chip Kelly knows it.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
We see some of these explosive runs. They will happen
in this matchup, and I think this is where Ashton
Genty surpasses that number.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
It'll be great for the rookie, great for Raiders fans,
and of course fantasy managers who have been waiting for
Ashton gent to get an opportunity to get in the
ball some space. I will take Romeo Dobbs to go
over forty two and a half receiving yards against the
Dallas Cowboys because the Cowboys have played a few games.
They played three games and see four players have over
forty two receiving yards on one play. Against the Dallas Cowboys.

(40:19):
I think that the packer that over the years has
the most targets, the most red zone targets, gets the
most opportunities, gets there on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
My second one also a rookie, that's me. Oh and
it's a worrying him to just score a touchdown.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
Just kidding, but ask you to write that one down
to it's Travon Henderson to rush for more than forty
five and a half yards against the Panthers.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
The Panthers defense was out of this world against the Falcons,
but for two games prior to that, they were very
vulnerable to the run, even with Derek Brown back.

Speaker 3 (40:48):
So looking at the opportunity here.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
I know there were tons of turnovers, there's tons of penalties.
Do you know what way is a surefire tud and
tryway to tried and true way to get that turnover
number down?

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Run the football with Trevan Henderson.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, and running the football with not Travyon him and
there's some kinving fumbles is probably what gets Trayvon Henderson
a more opportunity This week. I'll take another running back
and decidedly not a rookie as Alva Kamara been doing
it for a very long time at a very high level.
I think he gets over forty nine yards against the
Buffalo Bills because he's on the field like at a
top ten rate. Right now, he's playing over eighty percent

(41:23):
of the snaps for the Saints. I do think the
Saints will be playing from behind, but there's something about
that number that makes me believe.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
You know what happened last time he faced a bottom
run defense?

Speaker 3 (41:33):
What one hundred and fifty five yards?

Speaker 4 (41:35):
It was the last season feilve yards one hundred and
fifty five, So it's like one hundred more than you need.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
I'm thinking back to that moment where al Kamara could
have had the single game record from touchdowns, but Sean
Payton gave the ball to Taysom Hill instead. Enjoying the
game in Dublin, Everybody for Cynthia Freelan and Patrick cleibon
in joy, thanks for watching Game Debut.
