Speaker 1 (00:04):
NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
partnership with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Everybody, Welcome to game debut.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Patrick Claibn back here with Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland
here to get you set for an exciting Week seven
where we didn't have as many upsets last week, so
everything looked pretty good.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Greck the biggest upset here is though.
Speaker 5 (00:24):
Patrick continues to lead in the standings, and frankly, Cythy,
I think it's about time.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
You know what I mean. He's been on the show
a while. Let's start pulling your weight. Patrick, I win one.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Calling them sneak disses doesn't necessarily provide the full credit.
Let's let's take a look at the standings. Since Greg's
so excited about the universe, preferred a little chalk. Cynthia
is nipping at my heels after sacrificing the Lions against
the Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
But I will keep the crown for now.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
At fifty six, I think it's your time.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
We'll see tough to celebrate, but everybody's so happy about it.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Let's saw some ball.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Two years ago the Lions knocked off the Bucks out
of the playoffs. Then last year in Week two, Baker
Mayfield squad Winter Detroit.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
It got some revenge. They won twenty to sixteen.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Baker finished with one hundred and eighty five yards, a
passing TD, a very nice rushing touchdown, and Jared Golf
had a game he'd like to forget, throwing no touchdowns,
had two picks in that game. So let's discuss this
big rematch Sunday night in the Motor City. Baker is
getting MVP chants at home. The Lion's coming off a
loss to those Chiefs. How does this one go?
Speaker 6 (01:27):
Cynthia, I have a three point win in a high
scoring affair for the Lions twenty eight to twenty five.
Speaker 7 (01:33):
I cried at that playoff game. Yeah, with the Lions one.
I mean big Lions beat the Bucks and I was crying.
It was good.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
But a'm wan Rossaint Brown is a huge difference maker
in this one. Last week we saw some things we
don't usually see, which is, you know, not a connection
between he and Jared Goff.
Speaker 7 (01:49):
Why does Jared Goff have the.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
Best completion percentage in the league in large part due
to this guy.
Speaker 7 (01:55):
He's so reliable.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
I think sometimes we don't talk about him enough amongst
the top wide receivers in the league. I know I'm
from mid Michigan, so maybe I mentioned we see a
lot more of Amine Ross Aid Brown, but overall, in general,
he doesn't get the kind of same talk as like
a Justin Jefferson or but he's a huge difference maker
and in this game he will be the difference maker.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah, you subtract one from both sides of your score
and you get my score. Cynthia, I've got a twenty
seven to twenty four because although it's like the Lions
are kind of alternating which position group is hurt at
the moment, they do have Aiden Hutchinson back at Allie
McNeil gonna play. I won't say what Dan Campbell said
because he was more emphatic about.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
McNeil playag Neavitt, but I think they get.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
A matchup of Hutchinson with Charlie Heck and kind of
leave Tristan Wurf's alone here. Heck is giving up the
second highest pressure rate among right tackles, while Hutchinson has
the second most pressers in the entire league.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I enjoy the Lions front seven. I think I like
the fact that they're at home and this one.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
So roar, Greg, Yes, roar, and you can put the
Lions graphic all across the bottom. You can meme us away.
But you can also watch this show of few different ways.
You can also look at that number minus five and
a half and notice all three of us are actually
on the Bucks side of things here. I think it's
a one point game. I'm tempted to take the Bucks
because of Vita Vea and this defense for Tampa Bay.
(03:17):
First of all, they stopped the run great. But even
when Vidavea is rushing the passer.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
You can put two guys on them.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
It's a new fangled interior offensive line for the Lions.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Two guys is not enough for Vidavea.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
He has faced the third most amount of double teams
in the entire NFL this year. He leads the NFL
in pressures when he is double team five pressures last
week alone. While you're putting two men on this mountain
of a man, and there's a lot of injuries for
the Lions in the secondary. We don't know about their
offensive line either. I might flip my pick, but either way,
(03:51):
five and a half points is disrespectful. I don't like it.
I think this is a close game, and the Bucks
keep it close.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
At the very least, vidavea feeling young in Spry had
a roughing the kicker last week because he's just trying
to get out there and move around. Speaking of being
low stop for Who's Eating Good presented by Applebee's, Baker
Mayfield has been ball in Cynthia. Willie pass for more
or less than two hundred and forty four yards against
the Lions.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
Heck yeah, he'll pass for more than that number, in
large part because who's playing in the secondary for the Lions.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
I don't know. We'll sign someone off the practice squad and.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Not you dared, Nope, not Brian Brandton, No Bended.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
Not Terry on Arnold, and Kirby Joseph doesn't look one
hundred percent. So things look great.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
For the Lions secondary. It's all gonna be okay. I'm
gonna be just fine. But no, Baker Mayfield has had
a great season. He's dealing with a banged up wide
receiving corps. But I still think that number goes higher,
especially because I have such a high scoring game forecast.
You don't get to a high scoring game without throwing
for a lot of pass years.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
And we'll go from the NFC solves best quarterback at
the moment to a guy who might be one of
the league candidates for Offensive Player.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Of the Year in the division. But Jehan Robinson electric
right now, Buffalo A's another man to the front.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
They're going to hand to Robinson right side through the
first wall, around the corner.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Here goes Pshon. Robinson keeps his.
Speaker 8 (05:05):
Feet thirty twenty five, twenty ten.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Five touchdown Atlanta.
Speaker 9 (05:11):
Oh my goodness, the math on this one is easy.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Eighty one to the house.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Bijon and the Falcons coming off a huge win over
the Bills. They've got the forty nine ers on Sunday night,
brought party's status still uncertain. George Kittle expected to be
back for this one. How does the matchup look at
the moment to you, Cynthia.
Speaker 6 (05:32):
Well, let's go back to Baijon there for a second,
because in an alternate universe, I think he's still running
all over the Bills. But Atlanta wins this one twenty
three to twenty one because of the matchup missing matchup
aspects between Bajon and no Fred Warner. The massive sized
hole that's left when Fred Warner is not on the field,
results in oh rushing yards increasing by about one per play,
(05:54):
maybe even more. And same thing with in the past
catching game as well.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
So I'm pouring a little one out for Fred Warner.
He is a real one. He is the best linebacker
that we are seeing. It's not even close in the league.
And without him.
Speaker 6 (06:05):
Jon Robinson, by the way, JONN Robinson did a bunch
of charity for kids where he brought a who bunch
of books. He just gave a ton of books to kids.
So you like kids reading and.
Speaker 7 (06:15):
You're great football. I mean wins all around here.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Folks, full on renaissance man.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
He was starting in Netflix programs as they had an
opportunity there.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
He was on NFL Daily with Greg rosenba Gas exactly
and everything.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I've got the Falcons by four, twenty four to twenty
and that's all that they have to do with the
number four because Jeff Olbrich he went down to Georgia
and he is sending people, he is sending them flying
at the quarterback. He blitzed Josh Allen more in a
game than he has been since twenty twenty one. They
have a blitz rate this season of forty eight point seven.
The next highest team is not even in the forties.
There are eleven point hires in the next closest team.
(06:50):
If you're looking for a comp they're just behind the
twenty twenty three Vikings in terms of blitz rate.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
The Niners ground game is what it once was. Greg,
I'm concerned. I've got the Birds by four.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
I am concerned because of all the injuries. But sometimes
get good injury news, and you get that with George Kittle.
I got the forty nine Ers winning. I got a just, Greg,
here's a number for you, just Greg, seven to four
on the season, and you're giving me a home favorite.
Kyle Sanahan gets it done. George Kittle is so massive
for this team. He's a He has a multiplying effect.
(07:22):
He is like the Patrick Claybahn of the forty nine Ers. Zach,
you put him on the field, Suddenly Christian McCaffrey's better.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
So you put Patrick in the show. Suddenly I'm better.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
Cynthia is better, exactly.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Kittle opens things up for Kendrick Bourdon, who already might
be the best wide receiver in the entire NFL. He's
only gonna get better. I don't care who's that quarterback
for the forty nine ers. I trust them bouncing back
against the Falcons.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
You owe George Kittle a huge apology. Nobody wants to
be compared to me.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Stop at all, versat all, run and pass game.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Our next matchup features two of the top teams in
the NFL, scoring off at Wimbley's Stadium in London.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
London's calling at time, play for the man next. You
numb just game sixty minutes. I wasn't dumb, Stafford, He's.
Speaker 8 (08:05):
Hitched the bucket to cut down.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
That was a dot up.
Speaker 8 (08:12):
Shout down. Indian Sela tucks down.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Jackson away. We'll see you in welly Low.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Snooze off.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Game on Sunday Morning football continues in London, presented by
net app Matthew Stafford and the Rams versus Trevor Lawrence
and the Jags Sunday nine thirty am Eastern only on
NFL Network, Also streaming with the NFL Plus pscription. With
larger NFL Plus visit plus dot NFL dot com for
turn Rams and Jags, both sitting at four and two LA,
(08:51):
likely without Pookaakua, who's walking away with their fifth win
of the season in this one, Greg.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
I gotta admit I don't know. I mean, I never know,
but this game, I really don't know. I'm taking the Rams.
I like both of those teams. I think it's very
evenly matched, but I'm really curious to see how DeVante
Adams does here as the number one receiver. So it
hasn't all been efficient to DeVante Adams this season. You're
seeing a successful red zone play to Devonte Adams, but
(09:19):
actually in contested catch situations and in general for this
team in the red zone, it's been a little sporadic.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
To my eyes, he looks.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Like the old DeVante Adams, but they haven't totally been
in six. Now, you have a week where you're preparing
for a Jaguars defense that just traded for Greg Newsom,
who gave up a big play a week ago, and
you know that Pukaiku.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Is not going to be out on the field.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
I trust Sean McVay to come up with a game
plan to get this connection looking like this.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
We're seeing all the best plays.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
It's just been a little up and down, and I
think this week they get it straightened out.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
I've got a similar score to you, Greg, I've got
a Rams win by three twenty three.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
To twenty.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Injuries playing a role in my decision, more so for
the Jags, as Greg Lloyd is out for this game.
But the Rams, they have their tackling machine Date Lambman
occupying territory overseas now seventeen tackles a week ago, seven
run stops on a team where the pass rushers sometimes are.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Really concerned about rushing the past and not really doing
a whole.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
Lot else Landman is key, and I think the Jags
really really missed Devin Lloyd. Tough to overstate the issue there.
So twenty three to twenty Rams win.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
For me simply, Well, I guess I'm on an island here,
but I am as a prime number. But here I
have the Jags winning this one twenty two to twenty one.
I want to show you something that happened last week.
You may have missed it because it wasn't something that
we saw a lot of, But there is Do you
remember Brian Thomas Junior. I know he's not a milk carton,
but there he is. And look at that yes in
(10:48):
the end zone. Now am I going to say that?
I love the opportunity for Trevor Lawnce to really have
just a bang up passing day against this Rams front. Now,
I'm not going to go that far, but I think
that just enough push with Brian Thomas Junior stretching the
field and then of wor how effective the run game
has been, will help them overcome an O line that
(11:08):
I don't know if they're as great as they were
in the beginning of the season, but I don't think
they're as bad as they've looked kind of in the
past two or three games. But I think that they're
somewhere in between. But again, Brian Thamas, you just just
a little bit of stretching the field that matters.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
And I know you like numbers.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
I do like numbers eight and three.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
When Cynthia is on her island.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
It's pretty good lace to be. Cynthia's on an island.
The game is all. Oh my, it all starts.
Speaker 7 (11:32):
Cynthia was on that island last week. Oh Mike, it's
all coming back.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
It's Son for Sees the season presented by Caesar's Sportsbook
as we take a look at the first touchdown score
odds according to our friends over at Caesar's between the
Vikings and the Eagles, Jordan Mason and Saquon Barkley leading
the way, with Jalen Hurts and Justin Jefferson significantly behind.
All those guys, we get a lot of touchdowns on
the ground. Let's discuss this game a bit more. The
(11:57):
Vikings are coming off to buy the Eagles coming off
of two straight losses. Does Philly skid?
Speaker 2 (12:03):
And here, Cynthia, I don't know about.
Speaker 7 (12:06):
I don't think it's a skid. But it's a one
point win.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
So I know Philadelphia fans and it could be like
a fifty point win. I don't know if they'll be
happy yet. Twenty four to twenty three is my score.
But I want to talk about Saquon Barkley because probably
the most popular guy in Philadelphia right now, Kevin Botulo,
he said he wanted to add to the run game.
Speaker 7 (12:23):
He wants to run the ball more.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
Saquon Barkley has not had anywhere near the yardage efficiency, usage,
yards before contact, all the things we saw last season.
Perhaps the offense has gotten a bit vanilla. I'm not
going to opine on that. What I will say is
that in this matchup, look for things that are good
at beating Blitz's beating pressures. Perhaps some screen passes, perhaps
(12:44):
some things where you're shifting, you know, to one side
and have a convoy of people that Saquon Barkley could
fall do some things that are a bit I don't
want to call them simple, but easier things that we
know that this offensive line can do, we know saque
can do to get him more volume. I think this
is a big bounce back spot for Saquon Barkley, and
maybe then Eagles fans will stop like hating on Kevin.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (13:08):
I think they just like doing it. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I've got an Eagles win as well, Cynthia. I've got
twenty five to twenty one, with the offense looking a
little bit better and as Cynthia pointed out, maybe not
as vanility. You know, the conversation this week wasn't about
like Bible quotes on Twitter. It was from Lane Johnson
saying the offense was predictable. Kevin Patulo had responses to that.
So let's talk about the most predictable thing that they do.
(13:32):
Shove the ball across the line. They did it on consecutive,
multiple consecutive plays in the loss. There it is against
the Giants where they need to do They're very successful
obviously at the Brotherly Shove and in a lot of
other plays. But yeah, the offense has become very, very predictable.
Perhaps an opportunity to mix things up in this Carson
(13:55):
Wentz potential revenge game, Greg that I don't think he gets.
Speaker 5 (13:58):
I agree with both of you and appreciate your points
so much that I'm just going to put the Eagles
score up there.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I think they'll win.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
It's really more about the Vikings defense not being as trustworthy.
And I'll take it to Carson Wentz and take you
back all the way to twenty seventeen. And this is
a picture I actually took on the way into the
divisional round. They were making big rigs of Weensylvania. And
I think right now people think about Carson Wentz in
Philadelphia and.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
They like, think of the bad things. Oh, he wasn't
great in the locker room or whatever.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
They had never won the Super Bowl in their entire
history as a franchise. What if I told you there's
no freaking chance they would have ever won the Super
Bowl if not for Carson Wentz. He got them out
to an eleven and two start that year. He was
the number one quarterback in the league in QBR that year.
He actually got third place in the MVP votes that
(14:49):
year for.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
The Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
That's how good he was, setting up a number one
seed where they just barely won in that divisional round game,
helped out by the home field that.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Carson Wentz got them.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
So a little appreciation for Carson, wasn't it Nick Foles?
I mean, of course Nick Foles got it, But it's
a team sport.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Everyone helped out.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
A rising tide lifting all the boat. Then how about
that Greg going in big for Carson Wentz. Yeah, big
season seasons brought to you about caesar Sportsbook. New users
can bet one dollar to boost their next twenty bets
by one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Must be twenty one or older.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
See Caesars dot com slash promos for full terms. Let's
stay in the NFC East. Jayden Daniels and Dak Prescott
set the square off this week. Take a look at
their numbers from them last week when they the fans
of QB wins out there. They both did not get that,
but look at the numbers. Two hundred eleven passyards for
Jaydon Daniels. Of course, there was the brutal fumble but
(15:43):
three touchdown passes, one hundred and nineteen passer rating, and yeah,
once again, Dak Prescott did almost everything he could, but
it wasn't enough with the Cowboys defense on the other side.
It's time for the Reid presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
Microsoft Copilot, your AI companion for NFL Game Day and
every day. We asked Copilot to give us the top
three matchups to watch in this NFC showcase.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
Jayden's saying upright up a rough.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Game last week, Javonte Williams bouncing back after his worst
game of the year, and the turnover battle.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Being things that we should keep on an eye on.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Let's break down this matchup between the division rivals. There's
a chance both Terry McLain and Cde Lamb play on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Who gets a win?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Greg, I have the commanders.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
I think they're better overall, and the quarterbacks might be
very even. But Jayden Daniels is getting closer to that
Dak Prescott level because of his scrambling ability.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
You saw it.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
He's still wearing that knee brace in Chicago, but I
thought he had the juice back in his legs after
a couple of days where he was quiet on the ground.
You could not catch up to Jadon Daniels. It was
like an automatic first down when he decided to scramble
in this game. And that's the X factor because I
think the Bears had a good game plan for the
Commanders in terms of being able to stop the run
(16:56):
and loading the box, and yet the Cowboys defense is
so inflexible. They don't play much man coverage, they don't
really stop the run very well. That I think the
Commanders will be able to get some design runs and
then they'll also count on Jaden Daniels in his scrambling ability.
Speaker 7 (17:12):
Yeah, I'm going to build off of that.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
I have a Washington win as well, but I have
one point right now, twenty nine to twenty eight. Why
because all of those injury news pieces, I don't know
exactly who's all playing. So if everyone plays, it's going
to be more convincing win for Washington.
Speaker 7 (17:28):
As of right now, I don't really know.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
But ultimately the thing that decides this one is the
ability of the run game to have a little bit
more time and not have mess ups. Look at this
mess up. Look at the mechanics of this mess up.
Does that happen very often. No, that's called bad luck.
The Bears their defense is gotten healthier, they've gotten better.
Speaker 7 (17:47):
Now do they have Does this happen very often?
Speaker 6 (17:50):
No? You know why it doesn't happen because they're professionals.
Look at the weather, look at the situation. But I'm
just saying that it's just bad luck. That is truly
just bad luck. That's not bad play. Sure, it's great
for the Bears to be able to recover it, but
they're not going to be in that situate.
Speaker 7 (18:03):
There's a lot of zone defense, a lot.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
More space that they'll be working with against this Dallas defense.
Speaker 7 (18:08):
So scrips happened.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
Remember that when a cat like that can hang in there,
That's what I just saw with that thing that that
kitten poster.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
You know what we're talking about.
Speaker 7 (18:16):
Yeah, okay, good, just making sure hang in.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
There because that's what the commanders are going to be
able to do.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Is Cynthia pointed out, it's going to be a nice,
comfortable seventy one degrees inside of Att Stadium actually to
be concerned about. We are all on the Washington commanders
right here as Yeah, we all have big scores because
we're looking over at that Dallas Cowboys defense where things
have not necessarily been great. Check out some debo Samuel
(18:40):
hopefully he plays, Hopefully Terry McLaurin is able to play.
But Devo's getting right now twenty percent of the team's
air yards against.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
The Dallas defense. That on fifty seven.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
Percent of passes, the receiver has more than three yards
of separation.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
It's the worst rate.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
In twenty twenty five. So yeah, we're all taking the
Commanders in. It's score fest, but we're still taking Washington
out to the left hand, off scouta boot into the
line for the goal line, no signal yet.
Speaker 8 (19:11):
And touchdown Giants. Scottaboo's third rushing touch down to the
ball game. Oh he doesn't backflip, and now the Giants
lead at thirty three seventeen.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
You get the home.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Yeah, I.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
Think we need I think we need a Scattaboo chit.
Speaker 9 (19:48):
Scaner boot Scott Boom, scot out boot Stetta go.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
You either see yourself become a meme or just become
a meme and embrace it.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
The g Men shocked Philly last week. Now they've got
a tough Bronco Semuel Jackson dar pull off another upset.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
Greg I didn't quite have the guts to pull off
the upset, but I do think they keep this game
close because of Jackson Dart and his rushing ability. So
just a three point win for Denver. I know they're
favored by a touchdown. I love that for the Giants.
Jackson Dart has such a wild profile right now. He
throws the ball deep almost more than any quarterback in
the league, and it's not effective. He runs the ball
(20:28):
more than any quarterback in the league and it is
quite effective.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
So the highest rate.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Of design runs of any quarterback in the entire NFL,
and it's been very successful. Also second in terms of
scramble range. So when the first read or the second
read is not there, you run. And I think the
way to beat this Broncos defense is to run. And
so I think the Giants can keep the game close
with a little Dart, little skataboo on the ground, and
(20:53):
they at least don't lose by seven.
Speaker 7 (20:56):
I kind of disagree.
Speaker 6 (20:57):
I have an eight point win for the Broncos twenty
five to seventeen. I want to talk about this Broncos
defense because I'm looking at what is the formula to
make life so hard on a rookie quarterback. It comes
in the form of Nick Benito coming for your life.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
Go ahead, what were you to say?
Speaker 5 (21:14):
He just he just talked a little trash too to
the Giants fan base, showing them delusional on Twitter.
Speaker 6 (21:21):
If I had to run and hit people for a
living living, I would think their fans were delusional as well,
if they thought they could beat me.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Think about it.
Speaker 6 (21:27):
You have to have that mentality if that is your
line of work, it only seems right. But it's not
just Nick Bonito. Is this whole defense together. They have
the highest pressure rate, And if you look at what
happens in coverage, I mean, is Malik Neighbors walking through
that door? I don't think so, So ultimately it's not.
And I love the Jackson dart Woman. I love the
cam Scataby moment. Love it's very fun, Like I love
(21:49):
a good meathead moment for sure. But I think in
this matchup, it's going to come down to the entire
eleven players on that defense being just way, way, way
too difficult to overcome.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
Benito leads the league in sacks, but you can add
two more to the totally sacked me earlier this season
and now the Giants fan base.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
And again he's by a couple. He's responding to particular
aspects within the Giants fan base. He's not taking shots
at the entire fan base.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
Like people might say I when I've got an eleven
point win froms in this one. Because the defense has
been incredible. The reigning defensive Player of the Year might
not have a lot to do in this game, because
Cynthia points out NOMA League neighbors have got injuries to the.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Other pass caackers. But let's discuss Patrick soon. Tan. They're
playing more man than anyone else.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
They're allowing four point eight yards per play right now, and.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
In this matchup, Yeah, paying attention.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
To the rbos getting to Jackson Dark after they try
to block up that first ruad to keep them from
running the ball.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
I think it's a pretty convincing Broncos win.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
So, like Cynthia, I passionately disagree with Greg Rosenthalt. This
game expected to be one of the lowest scoring of
the week. Let's check out the rest right there at
the top. It's the Dolphins and the Browns looking at
thirty seven and a half at the total.
Speaker 6 (23:02):
Texas Weather's going to be an issue, yes, in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Just so you know, pay attention to the forecast, folks
as we get to the two minute drill presented by
the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card. Allow us to
make some quick picks and honor that active cash credit card.
The Raiders and Chiefs at Arrowhead, Mahomes and Casey have
won three of the last four. Do they keep it
rolling like the Raiders took that bus rolling around?
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Absolutely, they do, and they get over that big old
number thirty one to seventeen. Oh, we're back to an
old school Chiefs team where they are a top five
offense and a good enough defense. You replace Juju Smith
Schuster in about forty five TOI snaps with Rashi Rice
on the field in.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
That same role.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
You get faster, you get more productive. You do not
have the horses at linebacker, safety or cornerback to keep
up with the Speedsters. And the Chiefs. Make the Chiefs
fun again.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
It's happened.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
It has.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Speaking of fun, the Saints and the Bears, it's a Dennis.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Allen revenge game.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Does Chicago make it four wins in a rows into.
Speaker 7 (24:02):
You by three points twenty four to twenty one.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
Look out for a massive Romo Donsay game in this one,
when I'm looking at what could the formula be, Well,
it is Romo Dounzay.
Speaker 7 (24:11):
On third down, it is Romo Dounzay. Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (24:14):
Whenever his quarterback gets into trouble, who's he looking for?
Call Williams safety blanket. Sometimes we're saying the Tarta ends
the quarterbacks. No, No, it's Romo Dunza and it's not even close.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Let's go to the.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
Packers and the Cardinals in the desert. Kyler Murray has
been limited at practice this week. I will take the
Packers twenty three to seventeen. The Packers' defense looks good
in this one. And if you're concerned about last week's
Joe Flacco game, let's go back and look at what
actually happened. If you're a Packers fan, that's like, oh,
we can't defend the past. It's Jamar Chase Kasehawn Nixon
(24:45):
was all over him. He's just being a better football player.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
But everybody still waiting to.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Get Marvin Harrison Junior out of the conuntry protocol. Wilson's
not doing this all love the Greg dortsch. He's not
Uno and yeah, Joe Flacco threw that one. No look,
I think, and here's the touchdown.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
This's just a greed.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
I really just wanted to look at this play because
that's an interception that turns into a touchdown.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Yeahuk, who else could make magic like that? How about
a little Jacoby Brissett and Trey McBride.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Okay, I think they'll keep it close.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
I like Greg has a much closer score than I
of He's got twenty four to twenty.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
One and assigned for more or less.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
As we discuss some player props for this week's Rams
Jags matchup in London, we will start with Cynthia Freelan.
Will Matthew Stafford throw for more or less than two
hundred and forty eight yards in the game?
Speaker 6 (25:37):
More why this is a bottom five passing defense, Matthew
Stafford historically has had great opportunities as do I know
exactly which pass catcher will benefit from this? Absolutely not,
But I don't care because I'm not asked about that.
I'm asked about Matthew Stafford.
Speaker 5 (25:52):
So it's more, you know what Matthew Stafford eats up
for breakfast zone defenses, and that's what the Jaguars really major.
And also I'm not saying Roger Goodell can make this happen,
but after the pass performances the last couple of weeks
in London, like we're just looking for a lot of
passing as a league, and Matthew Stafford can deliver.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
We just mean, like, let's just have some.
Speaker 7 (26:16):
In Hey, hello, we're going to need a passing play here.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Ma sture please are Kyon Williams at sixty nine rushing yards?
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Is to get north of that number, Greg more.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Or less, you know this is what happens in a
live show. Let's go over to the number.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
I like Kyle Kyrien Williams this week because their success
rate in terms of when they're designing runs on the
ground among the highest in the NFL. Blake Korham not
one hundred percent healthy Kyrien Williams with a really good
bounce back performance against the Baltimore Ravens.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
The Jaguars are pretty tough upfront.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
But ultimately I think good offense beats good defense, rams run.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
The ball well Sneaky little stat here is the Jags
are very good at contacting rushers behind the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 7 (26:57):
So I'm with you on the total yards, but be
mindful it could cause a turnover.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, gotta protect the ball.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
I'll take the US won sixty seven receiving yards for
Brian Thomas.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Junior, I like the over. Let's go here.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
The last two weeks he's averaging eighty five yards a game,
and then you go back to the start of the season.
It's a new coaching staff, Liam Cohen in that tree
that's like the tree of life where the entire league
has its tentacles on this coaching tree. On this offense,
it was like they were trying to use Brian Thomas
Junior like he's Bobby Trees, like he's Cooper Cup, but
(27:31):
he's not. The outbreaking routes have been more successful for BTJ.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
I think he's up up higher than that number.
Speaker 6 (27:36):
You already know how I feel about Brian Thomas Junior
in this matchup. But here's one that you should also
keep an eye on. It's the number for Travis Hunter.
I think he goes over thirty five and a half
receiving yards.
Speaker 7 (27:45):
So both of them wars all around here.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
I could see the Jaguars and this this is a
big rivalry week for them. A lot of shared DNA
less Snead, James Gladstone the gym. They want to make
that Travis Hunter kick look great in the national game.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
It just they're gonna highlight it.
Speaker 7 (28:02):
Sicks thirty six yard makes him look great.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
Maybe throw the ball down the field the Travis side.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Thanks. Some shots have him cover well too. Don't forget.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
You can catch this game Sunday morning at nine thirty
am Eastern on NFL Network.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Speaking of London, here's a look at the remaining international game.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
So that's that's the one at Wimbley on Sunday and
then in Vernon, winn on November ninth. The Falcons and
the Cultimoal finish up the international slate with the Washington
Commanders taking on the Miami Dolphins Sunday, November sixteen. It's
signed for What's Ahead, presented by Credit One Bank, Danny
Dimes in the five to one Colts taking on the Chargers.
(28:38):
The Bolts stole one last week in Miami. What do
you see taking place?
Speaker 4 (28:42):
This is the top game?
Speaker 7 (28:44):
Ready for two three?
Speaker 4 (28:46):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Well, now I can only hope Daniel Jones is as
accurate as we just were in this game, and I
think he will be. He has been different this year.
I like the Colts to win this game right now. Yes,
the Chargers could get some players back that could affect
my decision.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
But Daniel Jones has been playing well under pressure.
Speaker 5 (29:04):
This This is money time last week, fourth quarter, they
need to drive pressures on. Daniel Jones stands in there
before taking a big time hit on a throw over
the middle, the type of play he wasn't hitting before.
This is the third and seven situation, final drive. Again
under pressure, makes a quick decision, has answers that Shane
Steiken is giving him quick out. Josh Downs is another
(29:26):
key guy to watch in terms of his status for
this game. I think it's a toss up to me.
It's a little bit of a stay away. But they
make us pick, and I'll pick the Colts.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
I'm happy to pick the Colts by three points in
this one, twenty seven to twenty four. You talk about
Danny Dimes being good under pressure. In fact, his passerating
is better under pressure than it is when he's not
under pressure. You know why busy He's got Jonathan Taylor
helping him out at every turn. I did some radio
this week and they asked me some questions like, oh,
are the Colts just for real or.
Speaker 7 (29:54):
Is just like a joke and I was so confused.
Speaker 6 (29:57):
So until the Colts are given the national love that
they deserve, I'm gonna keep talking about Jonathan I'm just
gonna keep going over Jonathan Taylor. Insert here, why most
explosive plays in the league, yards before contact, yards after contact,
He's doing all of it.
Speaker 7 (30:11):
He's your scrimming drug. Like what weren't warny You need
from this team.
Speaker 6 (30:14):
To be actually taken seriously. So I'm just gonna talk
about Jonathan Taylor every week until they get the love
they deserve.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Yeah, Radio Guy, Yeah, Radio Cinthia Freeland. Uh on, you
gotta come a little better than are the cults. Yes, yes,
it's not a joke. Like nobody's out here pretending. I've
got them winning by seven. Now, as Greg pointed out
the Chargers injuries, Joe Al he's playing Khalil Mac. Maybe
I'll bump the Chargers score up a little bit, but
I'll take the Colts here because right now Tyler Warren
(30:40):
is playing like a Rookie of the Year. Kennedy, you
have to look out and see what if a Meca
Buka is going to be back healthy for the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers. But against the Arizona Cardinals, Tyler Warren caught
at least one pass lined up tight to the formation,
gotta pass out in the slot, got a pass out
wide as a wide receiver.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
And lined up in the backfield. They do everything with
Tyler Warren, who who's got.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
More receiving yards than any other tight end in the NFL.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
Right now, you know, I just came up with the
next greg stats that just occurred to me as we're
talking about the game. What's the record for the Indianapolis
Colts this year when they're not playing in Sofi Stadium?
Speaker 4 (31:19):
Five? And oh what's their record in Sofi Stadium?
Speaker 5 (31:22):
Oh and one? They haven't won a single game in
Sofi Stadium. I think they go to zero to two
this week.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Oh wow, the stadium itself defending as crict.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
A house of horrors. Yeah, I'm flipping that pick.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
All right, dimes in one, showing they've got a special connection.
But the hottest duo in the league right now has
to be Sam Darnold and Jackson Smith in jigbu.
Speaker 10 (31:45):
Horton wide to the right side, play fake Donald has time,
gonna let it fly. Jasen is out there, jasen As
it cut down chay Hawks hot spike in the end
zone and a sixty one yard rocket to number eleven Jay. Yeah,
Sam put six more.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
On the board for the Hawks.
Speaker 10 (32:07):
And that's how you loosen up that defense that is
fighting you tooth and nail at the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
You throw over them and.
Speaker 10 (32:15):
The Seahawks explode for a big touchdown reception.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
The Seahawks saying the Jags last week. Now they're playing
host of CJ. Stroud in the Texas on Monday Night
football Houston, coming off of their bye.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
Who has the edge here, Greg.
Speaker 5 (32:29):
I'll give it to the Seahawks, but I love this
game injected into my vein. Seahawks win by a point,
but I just think it's gonna be an awesome contest. Ultimately,
I'm going with the Seahawks because of Jackson Smith in Jigba. Look,
can we please stop saying that these Ohio state wide
receivers are.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Oh like, oh, they're a safe mix.
Speaker 5 (32:49):
Oh they're like a high floor, but like a low ceiling.
Not that exciting wide receivers out of the slot. Don't
even call them a slat receiver because they are playing
on the outside Jackson Smith and Jigma has about one
hundred and fifty yards more playing on the outside, more
than any receiver in the league. But between him and
Nika Abuka, like those two are the most explosive, exciting
(33:12):
high ceiling. Their ceiling is the roof right now. And
he is the best receiver of twenty twenty five JSN
in Seattle.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
And I know this was such a hut button issue
for you would have prepared some notes on this, because
I haven't seen you get that Madden quite some time.
Speaker 7 (33:26):
Anyways, I too have Seattle.
Speaker 6 (33:28):
Winning this one by a bigger margin twenty two to nineteen.
I want to talk about Seattle's defense now. The way
that they play defense allows their secondary to appear like
even greater than they are. You don't have to have
as much nuanced football knowledge to see just.
Speaker 7 (33:43):
How great they are. Upfront.
Speaker 6 (33:44):
They're not even blitzing, and they're getting tons of pressure
on guys and the back ends getting healthier. We've got
Nick eban Wari and this guy is coming out of
the gates just strong, looking like a veteran already. So
I'm watching this defense and I'm thinking, Wow, there's something
really interesting, especially or Obviously, Mike.
Speaker 7 (34:01):
McDonald comes from the mold.
Speaker 6 (34:02):
These are defensive coordinator the Ravens, who comes from a
very strong Well, maybe that's one of the trees we
need to get you get down with, is the defensive
molding from the Ravens. But I'm looking at this one
and I just think that this defense is too much
to keep that hotness we saw from CJ. Strouden company
going in this matchup.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
I will go all alone by off and take the
Houston Texans from the upset on the road this year
with the virtue of their pass defense, we're talking about
great defenders. Derek Stingley Junior and Kamari Lasser are two
very very good ones. They're the number two EPA pass
defense in the league.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
I know when we saw highlights of them.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Playing that game against Cooper Rush doesn't help. But think
about what it took for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a
healthier Tampa Bay Buccaneers team to have to drive down.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
The field and win the game.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Yes, the Texans gave up that one, but as the
offense sees a little bit of improvement, they go up
to take on the Seahawks, who are the number thirty
one offense in terms of rush efficiency. They're gonna have
to pass against the pretty good defense. And I'm confident
as uh, you know, it's hard. It's hard for defenders
to get wins. I think the Texans defense.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
And when you are confident, this year's eleven and four
on straybond picks. So if you add up all of
our numbers, just the prime numbers there, just Greg's we're
thirty and fourteen when we're out on an island. So
when we're feeling confident, it has worked out this year, right,
I don't know what that means, but it's provocation.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Take it. Take take it from Greg on an island.
Speaker 7 (35:32):
Provocative coming up.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
But the Patriots are in first place in the AFC
East Greggs boy Drake May is falling there, going to Nashville,
and you know, refine.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Mike Brable says it's not on his mind.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
He says it's interesting, doesn't necessarily say it's important.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Do the Patriots make it four straight wins? We'll tell
you next.
Speaker 9 (36:01):
Fay can't go off to Stevenson May feeling the pressure.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
Taking a shot. He's got his marin.
Speaker 9 (36:06):
It's Pop Douglas and he is in touchdown, and we
got Haymakers all over the place at the start fifty
three yards strike from me.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Ton per quick fix here on game Dave you those
red hot Patriots winners of three straight taking on the Titans.
Does Mike Rabel go back down to where he wants
coach Greg and get ribrid.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
He absolutely does in Nashville. He's lucky he.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
Got out of that organization into a stable one where
nothing bad ever happened. The Patriots win this game because
of Drake May. If you had just showed me Drake
May's stats after six weeks of this season before it started,
I mean I wouldn't have believed you how good they're. Like,
I'm trying to not get over my skis, but this
man is twenty three years old. His numbers are top
(36:55):
five and basically anything you want to put up in
the entire NFL. The only thing you can hold against
them is the schedule.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
And you know what, it stays easy more a while.
Speaker 5 (37:05):
So I don't care if we're gonna find out how
he's gonna do against better competition. He is cooking bad
teams like the Titans.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Look Greg levitating.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Right now, all that matters is Drake may my favorite
Greg rose Bo Panthers and Jets at Matt Life Gangreen's
still looking for that first win of the year.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
They came close last week. Did they get it this time?
So good?
Speaker 7 (37:24):
They do get whoa this time? Twenty one to twenty.
Speaker 6 (37:27):
I was a little shocked when the model said that
as well. However, this one comes down to consistency in
the run game from Breece Hall.
Speaker 7 (37:34):
This is a prime number.
Speaker 6 (37:36):
We need to play that little music where I could
just do it, you know, for you.
Speaker 7 (37:40):
But Brece Hall.
Speaker 6 (37:41):
Is consistently getting those explosive runs. And on the defensive
side of things, they have Jermaine Johnson back, which changes
things completely. He can actually set the edge that's been
something that they've been missing.
Speaker 7 (37:51):
So in this game, by the slimmest of margins.
Speaker 6 (37:54):
That your Jets are officially off of the zero win column.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
We'll see if the Carolina Panthers can become like stop
being the reverse Seahawks, go get a win on the
road they have needed to be in Charlotte. I will
go to the Dolphins and the Browns. Miami is coming
off that heartbreaker against the Chargers in a tumultuous week
where it's like everything else in corporate America, way too
much discussion about meetings. I think the Fins win it
(38:21):
fourteen to ten.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
And here's a weird step.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Davon Han has ran to the left sixty one percent
of the time this season.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
It's the highest and what i'll call the handedness rate
in the league. He had that forty nine yarder going
to the right. So there's that. Take from that what
you will. But both Greg and I think that the.
Speaker 6 (38:41):
Wow, are you seriously giving me a prime number on
the Browns at home? And the terrible conditions with Quinn
Shawn Judkins.
Speaker 7 (38:47):
So okay, whatever I'll take me.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
Let's not like get too confident about the Browns in
any Situy. I gotta think you could be confident in
either of these teams.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
But I'm just saying, you.
Speaker 7 (38:58):
Talk about handedness.
Speaker 6 (38:59):
This is also one that's interesting because there's two lefties
both from Hawaii.
Speaker 7 (39:02):
Yesh, you know, first.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
Time are in a slog, which is why I have fourteen.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
To ten considering the conditions they are still to come.
It's time to get wild and crazy our favorite prop.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Bets of the week.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
We went zero in three last week, so my math
says we are due. It's time to free flying flying Greg.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
We'll stick around. We've got more game debut coming up.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
My pick is we learn from politics. He don't say
the bad stuff.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
We acknowledge truth, not politicians. Here, We're focused on the future.
We'll be back. We're back on game day.
Speaker 3 (39:40):
If you set your alarms because Sunday Morning Football continues

Speaker 2 (40:00):

Speaker 3 (40:01):
It's time for write this down as we get to
some prop predictions. Four Week seven, Why don't you get
us started off, Greg, because.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
We need some wins.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
We're gonna get some wins, and we're gonna get wins
from a guy who gave the Chargers a win last week,
Lad McConkie getting more than sixty five and a half
receiving yards this week against a cult secondary where I
bet you cannot name one of their cornerbacks.
Speaker 7 (40:25):
Ever Various Ward.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
He's out this week that's on the field, so it'll
be like five black men. Ok Yeah, that's okay, that's
a good point.
Speaker 5 (40:33):
Sometimes you gotta remember who you are, and you gotta
remind your coach who you are. Jim Harbaughs talking about,
you know, his quarterback being Ethan Hunt, the head of
Mission Impossible. Ladi McConkie is your number one wide receiver.
He's the one making the impossible possible. He was the
one who made this play. Yeah, it's nice that Keenan
(40:53):
Allen's having a comeback season and Clinton Johnson is good
down the field. Their best receiver is Ladi McConkie.
Speaker 6 (40:58):
Okay, well, I'm gonna go with your team, the Patriots,
and it's Hunter Henry to score a touchdown, now, a
touchdown is a big thing to have happened. So there's
good value here if you know what I'm talking about.
Why do I have this happening? Well, if you look
at his red zone target percentage, Oh, it just paces
all tight ends and it paces the Patriots.
Speaker 7 (41:18):
And also it's higher than when Rob Gronkowski was playing
but Tom Brady a couple of years. So hey, there
you go. That's a fun one.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
I am going to try to bounce back from my
first miss of write this down in this twenty twenty
five season because I said that Tenor Role McMillan was
going to have yards, he wound up having touchdowns and said,
so my apologies there. Botnicks is playing up against the
Giants defense that continues to allow deep passes against him.
He's going to have a depletion over thirty four yards.
(41:46):
Jalen Hurts would have had one last week, but he
missed it. We miss you every single week. Come back
and see us next week for Cynthia Free, Gregorrol's at
the Law, Patrick claybohnb thanks for watching Game Day.
